As previously stated, you can't go from a PPV a month, (sometimes 2 in one month) to just 6 in a year. Plus, like shadow said, the supercards could be used for the mid-month title defense against deserving opponents.
Plus, you could spotlight one of the storylines at the Supercards like WWE did with the In Your House PPVs. The main event wasn't always a title defense, like In Your House: Buried Alive. Supercards should happen

Personally I like the idea of having supercards. The schedule Rep posted would be fine by me.

I like all the suggestions posted here. I agree with the supercards idea, and out of all the PPV schedules posted, I personally like Reps system:
PPV Events Supercard Events
January: Ragnarok February: Supercard March: Fallen Heroes April: Supercard May: Supercard June: Omega Effect July: Supercard August: Heatwave September: Supercard October: Seven Deadly Sins November: Supercard December: Genocide
However, I'm instead going to propose a slight change, moving Ragnarok to February, and Fallen Heroes to April. I know you liked the 3 month buildup to OE, but it evens out the other ones considering that we have a New Years break. If we went from the break straight to Ragnarok, there wouldn't be much time for buildup if we're doing one show a week. So my new proposed schedule would look like:
PPV Events Supercard Events
January: Supercard February: Ragnarok March: Supercard April: Fallen Heroes May: Supercard June: Omega Effect July: Supercard August: Heatwave September: Supercard October: Seven Deadly Sins November: Supercard December: Winters Discontent
A two month buildup to OE is still better than nothing, and I think this will better even things out for the breaks that we have for New Years, and after OE. Also, I know some of you don't like Winters Discontent, but meh, I've grown used to having that be our December ppv, so I put it there. Also - Dan, why would you want to keep the Champion-named PPV? If anything, that would be my first to drop. -_-
As for when this would go into effect, I was thinking as soon as the end of EOTR. It's clear that people are for this and I say why wait. We have an in-character explanation for the change and I believe we should implement it while we can. Sure, that may seem a little ass backwards though, going right into Seven Deadly Sins for the second time in one year, but the transition can also be made with just a Supercard or something. I also believe the in-character explanation would make the World Tour seem a bit pointless as well.
But if you guys still want to do it, I suppose I can scoundrel up some locations, but we first need to figure out just how exactly we're going to map things out if we do go ahead and move to this new system. Otherwise I'd be looking up way many more locations than necessary.

One other thing I was thinking about....
Would this mean that ranking changes would still be made after every PPV, or would it change to after every PPV/supercard? When would newsletters be sent out?

Hmm. That'd be another thing that we'd have to play around with at first.
I'd probably send newsletters out after PPV's still.

I love emperor of the ring, I say I say it should stay, but if it doesnt, it should be used then as one of the supercards, kinda like recently WWE has been doing King of the Ring as a three hour special

I would just like to say that you can most certainly do one show per week and six PPV's a year and have it be interesting.
I know because I lived that era. When the wrestling boom happened in the 90's, thats when they saturated the market. Well guess what? That market isn't as big anymore and that's why buyrates are very low.
This is a very good idea to go back to a recession type PPV/show system.

That's what I was thinking - if anything, just a small, one show version of it.

I say we ditch Seven Deadly Sins and bring in Samhain. Come on, its Halloween FFS!
Also, Heatwave sucks. The name. It sucks. It was an ECW PPV.

yeah, why not have August be SDS, and October Samhain.

I'm actually ok with keeping Samhain in October where it is, and possibly dropping SDS. Heatwave is pretty much our 2nd biggest PPV, so that name stays in my opinion.

I like the schedule presented by Zero. It is a shame, however, that the buildup to OE will only be two months but I guess there's no way to work around that without dropping the winter break. I'm sure we'll be able to work around it anyway.
What'll happen with the post-OE break? Will that be shortened to 1 week like some called for this year?

I'm still for my schedule then with the FH swap that Rep brought to my attention. I'd say just try the one show a week and 6 PPV's a year to see what happens. If things move too slowly or something along that line then throw in the super cards.
EDIT: If we use that schedule then we can go to one show after EOTR and the only tradeoff is we would have one back to back PPV (Samhain and EOTR).

IMO keep the two week break with a pair of highlight shows during it, segments can be sent but no calcs etc are awarded. One could be like the years highlights, the other the ACW awards (or were they canned?).

EDIT: If we use that schedule then we can go to one show after EOTR and the only tradeoff is we would have one back to back PPV (Samhain and EOTR). Yep, I'm fine for that to lead us into the transitional period. I think we could make the change fairly easily with an idea that was presented by Yoko on the mod boards and make this all work out for us.
