This matter has been brought up on the mod boards and discussed for several days now, and earlier today I noticed that the same subject had come up on the Booking Committee board, creating a bit of discussion on the matter. So - I've decided to bring the matter public.
Instead of two shows a week, I believe it will be much more beneficial to ACW to decrease that to one show per week. Currently it seems as if we're struggling to even make it two pages a show, and it's evident that people are becoming too busy to bother writing 3 segments a show. Are we saying you need to? No. Of course not. But it's clear that for many, it's hard having to worry about doing 6 segments a week. That's why if we move to one show, the work load will decrease plenty for all of us.
So with that option open, I believe many writers will feel more inclined to only write for one show a week, no longer bearing the work load of worrying about two. This also frees up more match possibilities for our Booking Committee that is forced to work with a much smaller roster these days.
The show would most likely be moved to Wednesdays, bringing forth Wednesday Night Warfare, however, if you all have any other suggestions, bring those forth as well.
So please, post your opinions and suggestions on the matter. I know that many of you don't like change - but we just gotta deal with it and realize that ACW isn't what it used to be. E-feds in general are all taking the hit, and while we're in this slump, we ought to make it easier on the few that are still around.

I was against this move, as far back as OEV, but now, I fully support this.

I'm all for a one show week, especially as I enter my 2nd year of University.
One thing though, if we do reduce it to 1 show a week we should really reduce the number of PPVs to allow proper buildup.

One thing though, if we do reduce it to 1 show a week we should really reduce the number of PPVs to allow proper buildup. Yea, for one show a week, we need at least 4 weeks between PPVs. When me and CP were in ECF, we had about 2 months between PPVs to give the fueds and matches more build-up. This said, I think a supercard in between PPVs is good.

4 weeks minimum? I'd say at least 6 if we're doing one show a week.

Aye for one show per week.
Suggestion: Don't call it Meltdown or Warfare. Time for a new show to replace them both.

I would support one show a week, but I'm far from campaigning for the change (largely because Thunderkiss supports it).

Just cos somebody you've had conflict with wants it, doesn't mean you should bitterly oppose it. I agree with it. But if you take away the Nov PPV, I WILL CRY COS I WANT CYMRU FEVER TO LAST FOREVER ;_;

Aye for one show per week. Suggestion: Don't call it Meltdown or Warfare. Time for a new show to replace them both. I was pretty much in agreement with everyone else until this post. Either way, the show should keep one of the names, and I have always liked the name Meltdown for some reason. I think we should have the TV show on a Tuesday. I don't know about most of you, but I get the bulk of my writing done during the weekends, and sometimes that Monday creeps up on you. Having it on Tuesday would allow for the weekend of free time to write, and then an extra day to fine tune everything and make it as perfect as it can be. On the PPV issue, I'm in agreement with Kia. We should run a PPV every 2 months (6 a year, and they would all be established annual names) and do a supercard event in the place of the cancelled PPV, but the supercards can have original names that pertain to angles, like "Phenomenal Strikes Back" (they don't have to be named after a wrestler, we could run certain shows in areas and name them after the city in some way.) But yeah, I would propose this type of schedule... PPV EventsSupercard EventsJanuary: RagnarokFebruary: SupercardMarch: Fallen HeroesApril: SupercardMay: SupercardJune: Omega EffectJuly: SupercardAugust: HeatwaveSeptember: SupercardOctober: Seven Deadly SinsNovember: SupercardDecember: Emperor of the Ring--- I put the coolest/important PPV names on the schedule and scrapped the bland ones. If the PPV has a tournament (like EOTR) or is the big event (like OE) it stays. I have two months free for OE build up. This was originally a scheduling conflict that turned out to make a ton of sense. It's the biggest PPV of the year and should be built up to after a long wait. Heatwave is in August, the prime of summer. Seven Deadly Sins is in October because I always feel some sort of ghoulish/haunting vibe from the name, and October is the month of Halloween/creepy events. December is EOTR simply because there needed to be an event on that month. Unless enough people really want the EOTR tournament, the event can be scrapped, as December and January are now back to back PPVs. As for the supercard names, we could do a topic every 2 months with suggestions and the coolest name that pertains to the city/storylines will be picked.

December will always be Winter Discontent. I've always seen it as our second biggest PPV. I might be wrong, but I don't think I am.

I hate the name Winter's Discontent. I think we could make EOTR the new big thing.

If anything, I'd drop EOTR. It's a crap PPV. I like tournaments but EOTR is very forced and very dim. I appreciate those who have made an effort for it this year but I just don't dig it. I'd sooner see a random "top 8 get in World title shot tourney" than EOTR. It's long past its course.

seeing how EOTR is basically the tournament with a few non-related matches, not that much build-up is needed. If anything, EOTR could start feuds/continue buildup.
Why not SDS, EOTR and WD back to back to back. Other than the summer, this are the most active months that I see due to school breaks.

Ew, I think we should only have 1 back to back occurrence at most.
I don't really care about EOTR either. Maybe we should just drop the December PPV all together. Winter's Discontent is bad name, and if the EOTR tournament isn't necessary we shouldn't even bother, just make it simpler.
