Okay it is no secret at this point that this has been talked about for a while. We have some people all for it and some against it. Well this is the place to speak up.
What ever your opinion is I want you to post it but we are going to way the pros and cons.
If you agree with it list one I repeat 1 pro. Same thing for if you are against it.

Actually this should be in conflict resolution. Since its a conflict between some of the roster and we need to resolve this.

Well that is why the ACW is cool, because it's different from other feds. Also with 2-3 shows a week it would be near-impossible to write for every deadline for every show, without having to skip shows.
And I think our system means that everything gets read, meaning that storylines are understood better. In a roleplaying fed people tend to read only their opponent's roleplays, and so they don't keep track of other storylines surrounding.
I'm against an RP-only fed.

I think that we should stay the way we are. I mean I have no problem with RP-Style only matches but this way, other people can come and not have to be forced into such a state. So people who don't want to RP don't really have to but people who do want to RP can. Its split into those Calculations that make it fair and more fun.

I stand against this idea, if someone wants an RP only fed, HWL's out there, as well as many more. I believe that we have a great deal of advantages with our system. An RP only system would quickly become "work" for me, as opposed to entertainment, as I do much more than just focus on my character. We have more freedom within the system, and I prefer it that way.

^^ Agrees with the Senator.
Also, unlike some feds, you have to EARN your place as a top star, working from the bottom. I think that's the best thing about the calcs/ranks/not having to rp all the time.

I'm fully against the idea of ACW developing into a RP only fed. I have np interest in the concept, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. You don't have to be exclusive to be a part of ACW. If people want a RP fed there are plenty to choose from. ACW on the other hand is one of a kind in many ways. Let's leave it that way.

There is no other way we can go now. I hear lots of sentimental crap like “ACW is special because of our system.” Anybody that actually believes that isn’t looking at this properly. That is nothing but idealistic bullshit, excuse my language. ACW is unique because of the people within it and not because of our silly system. All the community, different writers, and diverse writing styles are what make us any different from anybody else. The system we have now is ...flawed… I don’t mind it and it gets the job done with decent fairness, at the best. I think the RP system itself is a better overall system when it comes to deciding matches. In the RP system, the more talented person will win, but this doesn’t mean the less talented people still won’t be able to have fun. There are varying levels of talent within ACW so it wouldn’t just be a paradise for all the best writers, but for the OK, the decent, and the struggling writers as well. I cannot be a part of a federation that does not properly reward and nurture talent…. It goes against everything that this is about.
If we do not change to an RP system within the near future, we are doomed to be sucked into a downward spiral of both creativity and overall happiness. In my personal opinion, we have been sagging creatively for a while now. This is mostly due to the fact that a lot of us have become complacent… It’s almost as if we have become lethargic. I would suggest that we at least try adopting another way….if not….then well….we’ll see.

I can't say I disagree with you as I myself am sick of this rut of mediocrity. To say that people are not looking at this properly, just means that they are not looking at it the way you want them to look at it. The current system has worked for you for the last year. Why all of a sudden do you feel this mission to change things. If you want to discuss this more just AIM me.
