Nitro opens not with a shot of the arena, but with an outside picture from the parking lot. There are a number of vehicles parked; cars, the fed trailers and most noticeably the Chairman’s black limousine, freshly polished and pristine in the halogen glow of the lighting columns. Crew members move back and forth, going about their business, and everything seems to be perfectly normal…………
……Until suddenly from the far rear of the shot, a vehicle is seen approaching at a velocity normally reserved for a motor speedway circuit. The vehicle’s horn blares, and people in the vicinity have just seconds to run for cover before the vehicle ploughs straight into the rear of the limousine with an ear – splitting crash, sending it rolling until the front impacts into a concrete wall. As the crew peer out from their hiding places, they instantly recognise the damaged lowrider which is now at a standstill and smoking gently; the driver jumps out and both the crew at the scene and the audience watching on the titantron are visibly shaken by the sight which meets their eyes.
Latino is a shadow of his former self; his eyes are sunken in and dark, and it is obvious that he has not slept in many days. Where once his face radiated with his good nature and zest for life, now there is nothing but a cold, hard determination to wreak havoc on those who have torn his world apart. With his trusted sledgehammer in his hands, Latino rushes to the crashed limousine and attacks the windows; they are made of highly toughened glass, but so intense is his fury that they shatter after only a few blows.
Latino: COME ON! WHERE ARE YOU, YOU FUCKING BASTARDS? I KNOW YOU’RE HERE, YOU CAN’T HIDE FROM ME VATOS!
The crew members who were witnesses to the original collision are freaked out by Latino’s attack, and they bolt back into the building; the movement attracts Latino’s attention and, with an expression as twisted as anything seen thus far on his nemesis Ridley, he storms into the building, stalking his prey. Latino kicks in each door he comes to; he bursts in on several roster members, who shout angrily at first but swiftly shut up when they see the state that Latino is in. Latino shouts and fills the corridors with a stream of obscenities, pouring out his rage and driving the event crew before him in panic; his wrath increases as he fails to find any of his targets. Then, as he turns a corner, someone finally comes forward to face him – but it is Bladeshadow, not one of WCW’s associates, who steps in to halt Latino’s rampage. Latino stares at Blade as if he barely even sees him; Blade holds his ground and blocks Latino from progressing further into the building.
Latino: Out of my way esse, I have unfinished business to attend to…and no one’s going to stop me from doing what I have to do.
Blade: Listen to yourself Latino, you’re talking like a madman. You can’t just beat the crap out of WCW and Pain Inc, no matter how much they deserve it; you would get fired, possibly even arrested.
Latino: Do you seriously think any of that matters to me any more, Blade? The only thing I care about is taking those assholes out of commission, permanently. I’m going to mess them up so bad that none of them will ever be able to walk again, let alone wrestle……..as long as I achieve that, then nothing else is important. They can lock me up for the rest of my life, I don’t give a damn. And I will take out anyone who stands in my way.
Latino advances on Blade, with sledgehammer at the ready, but Blade stays still and faces him calmly.
Blade: All right, Latino. If you’re determined to do this, I won’t stop you. But before you irredeemably screw up your future, answer me one question.
Latino is right in front of Blade; he tenses his grip on the sledgehammer, but does not attack.
Blade: Ask yourself, Latino………..If the situation were reversed, if it was you who had been attacked and Blaze were here now, what would she do?
At the sound of Blaze’s name, Latino flinches as his nightmares resurface in his mind; his arms slacken and he lets the sledgehammer rest on the floor and his head and shoulders sag.
Blade: You don’t have to answer that question, Latino…….because she has already answered it for you.
Latino looks up at Blade, not understanding; Blade reaches into his ninja robes and produces a tightly folded piece of paper.
Blade: I found this pushed under the door of my locker room after Thunder last week. There was a note attached that said I should give it to you………so here it is.
Latino’s hands are shaking as he takes the paper from Blade; very slowly he unfolds it, and he cannot suppress a tear as he recognises Blaze’s handwriting. Blade steps away and gives him space as he reads the hurriedly made inscription.

Latino,
If you are reading this then my worst fears have been realised, and something has happened to force us apart. I have very little time to write this before our match begins, so I will just tell you straight out what I always wanted to say to you, but never quite found the words for; you are, and always will be, the most important thing in my life, my first thought on waking, and the last before I fall asleep at night. I sense that Ridley and his cronies are seeking to do me harm, as a way of hurting you, but I am not afraid to face my fate because I know they cannot change my feelings for you, however much they attack my body they cannot break my spirit. But I am afraid for you, Latino, the twisted people who control our fed will not be satisfied just to be rid of me; they will goad and taunt you, and try to make you dig your own grave through anger and hate. I beg you, do not allow them to drag you down to their barbaric level; if you truly wish to avenge my suffering then fight them where they have the most to lose – in the ring, side by side with our friends.
I am out of ink and out of time; but remember that wherever you are, my heart goes with you, now……..and forever.
With all my love,
Danielle, Your Mamacita.
Latino drops the sledgehammer handle and it thumps on to the floor; he holds the paper close to his chest, and Blade puts a hand on his shoulder.
Blade: Jesus Latino, you look terrible. How long were you at the hospital?
Latino (very quietly): I…..I don’t know for sure. When I woke up, I was on a trolley in ER……..someone told me that they brought the two of us in together. A doctor came to me, and I waited for him to tell me that they had done all they could, that they were sorry, you know the kind of thing……….but instead he just asked me to follow him, so I did. He led me down corridors for what seemed like hours, until we reached a little room at the end……..he was saying something about preparing myself, but it was like he was talking to me from a long way away, I couldn’t really hear him. And then he opened the door……..and………I saw…………her……..
Latino’s voice begins to break
Latino: There were all these machines…..and tubes, tubes all over the place……I was afraid to go closer at first, I didn’t want to see………but I knew I had to. The doctor was talking about burn marks, head trauma, lacerations…….about how the EMTs worked on her for 20 minutes straight with no response until just when they were going to stop, they found a faint pulse…..I think he said that it was close to a miracle that she was alive at all. But all I really heard at the time was the word “coma”……..
Blade’s own expression reflects his inner turmoil as he listens, and he feels physical stabs of pain in his gut as he remembers how he advised Latino not to go with Blaze on her initial exit from the arena……..
Latino: So I just sat down next to the bed and held her hand…..I wanted to speak, but the words wouldn’t come. The doctor said that she was stable, but that there was no way to tell how things would progress….some people recover in weeks, some in months…….and some………<br> Latino can’t finish the sentence and he looks at the floor.
Latino: I don’t know how long I was there…..it must have been several hours. But eventually a nurse came in and said that it was time for me to leave……so I kind of went on autopilot, they discharged me and I went home. I don’t really know what I’ve been doing since then……..I keep hoping that all this is a terrible nightmare, that in a moment I’ll wake up….but every time I close my eyes, I can see her lying there, and I know that the nightmare is real.
Neither Latino or Blade knows what else to say; they avoid each other’s gaze and for a few moments everything is absolutely still. Finally, Latino looks at Blade, and his eyes are filled with a desperate emptiness…..
Latino: Blade, what am I going to do?
Blade has also been looking at the floor, lost in his own thoughts, but now he stands up straight and there is a powerful sense of purpose reflected in his eyes.
Blade: I don’t pretend to know what you’re feeling inside Latino, but you should know that you’re not alone in your fight; this incident has made a lot of people angry, people who are going to make sure that WCW and the rest get everything they deserve. Pain Inc. made the biggest mistake of their entire careers last Thursday, and the consequences will be felt by all who choose to align themselves with them………and those consequences will begin tonight.
Latino has lost the crazed look on his face, and his expression is one of overwhelming sadness; he picks up the sledgehammer and quietly follows Blade away down the corridor. After the pair have passed by, one of the doors in the hall opens a little way, and GWD sticks his head and upper body out; he has heard the entire conversation from his locker room. GWD himself though is more concerned with the item he holds in his hand; a delicate Japanese lantern, which he has evidently discovered waiting for him in his room on his arrival at the arena. GWD looks at the lantern and furrows his brow; then, with a shrug of his shoulders, he retires into his room to prepare for his match.
GWD closes the door and the scene fades out.

Match 1: Tyd vs Commissioner RDK (Credit: Latino)
The fans are already excited as Back in Black by AC/DC starts playing; Tyd emerges from the curtains just as full of excitement himself. He runs up to different fans and slapping hands and just hearing cheers and admiration from many different fans.
Phillip: This match is scheduled for one fall and is a bout between two singles superstars. First coming to the ring…Tyd!
The GFWCW theme starts playing as RDK comes out to boos and verbal threats by the fans. RDK responds to them with threats of his own and yells at a nearby fan.
Philip: And his opponent…Commissioner RDK!
The Bell rings.
RDK slides inside the ring and immediately hits Tyd from behind. He pushes him against the turnbuckle and knees him in the stomach. RDK then smacks Tyd across the back with his forearm sending him down on his knees. Tyd retaliates, striking RDK in the stomach once and then quickly with a second blow. Tyd picks up RDK and gives him a surprisingly strong powerslam. He now climbs the turnbuckle and nails a leg drop to the face of his opponent. Tyd stands up RDK and kicks him in the legs leaving him staggering. He runs to the ropes and returns with a fierce clothesline knocking RDK down on the mat. The crowd cheers loudly for Tyd; he turns to the fans and poses for them in true Hulk Hogan style. RDK slowly gets up and rolls outside of the ring. He starts looking underneath the ring searching for a weapon. Tyd notices RDK is outside and rolls under the bottom rope before walking towards RDK. He runs and performs a dropkick to the side of RDK. RDK lies on the outside mat in pain as he is picked up and thrown into the steel steps outside. Tyd picks RDK up and performs a release German suplex to the outside mats causing pain to both men. Neither man can stand now and both are lying on the mat in utter exhaustion. Tyd is the first to show a sign of life as he starts moving his arms trying to grab the ring for support. The fans now are cheering his name for support and stomping on the ground causing a huge uproar all over the arena. RDK also starts to show life as a nearby fan starts yelling at him saying that Gillberg would have gotten up by now. RDK is jolted back into action by this insult and starts yelling at the fan. Tyd takes this opportunity and tries to attack his opponent from behind but RDK sees this and kicks him in the face. He grabs Tyd and throws him shoulder first into the turnbuckle post. He rolls Tyd inside the ring and just makes it back himself as the referee has counted nine. RDK now climbs the turnbuckle and goes for a flying elbow only to miss as Tyd rolls out of the way. Both men are lying on the mat and making their way back up. Tyd is using the ropes and RDK is using the turnbuckle for support. Tyd runs towards RDK and performs the Stinger Splash, which causes him to fall flat on his face and roll onto his back. Tyd grins widely and picks up RDK signalling at the same time for the Scorpion’s Venom, the Last Ride. As RDK is lifted up he starts punching Tyd, forcing the move to be stopped. Both men fall to the mat. RDK picks up Tyd and gives him a Rock Bottom. The fans are now screaming at RDK and trying to get Tyd to get back up. RDK smiles and climbs the turnbuckle. He stands there looking at all the fans and performs a perfect moonsault and goes for the pin 1..2..3.
Phillip: Here is your winner…RDK!
RDK stands over his fallen opponent laughing with an evil smile on his face. He goes outside and picks up the chair from earlier. Knocking the referee down he repeatedly smacks Tyd in the sides of his abdomen. RDK waits for Tyd to get up yelling at him “Get up! Show me your face!” Tyd looks up and RDK immediately smacks him in the face sending spots of blood across the ring and all over Tyd’s face. RDK throws the chair on the mat and leaves smiling as the fans yell and throw garbage at him.

Segment: Making your Mark (Events credit: BK London)
Spider is shown walking through the corridors; he does not have a match and so is just attending to keep an eye on his competition. He runs into BK London, whom he assumes is there for the same reason.
Spider: Hey London, how you doin'.
Spider is in good spirits after winning his #1 contender match; BK is evidently in a much less cheerful mood.
BK: Don't ask me how you doin', you know damn well that on Thunder you cheated.
Spider (laughing): Listen BK, you talk a lot of smack but you can't back it up. This is why I am #1 contender for the TV Championship and you’re not. Get this through your thick skull, you are a loser.
BK: Oh, so I am a loser, am I? Well just you wait Spider, very soon I’ll show you how much of a loser I am.
BK starts to walk away, and Spider starts off in the other direction; suddenly the camera shows BK approaching at speed with a steel chair in hand. BK cracks Spider hard over the head and opens a small wound; Spider is badly stunned, and BK drags him through a couple of halls before emerging out on to the main entrance stage. Spider has recovered a little, and he wrenches himself free before aiming a massive punch; BK though counters with a huge superkick that almost takes Spider’s head off. With Spider down, BK demonstrates his Explicit Action finisher – a suplex to RKO combo. Spider is knocked out cold by the blow, but BK is not finished; the camera pans to show a stack of tables next to the ramp, and with the crowd yelling and booing, BK launches himself and Spider into a jumping BK bomb straight through the furniture. The impact is catastrophic, and for a few moments no-one moves in the wreckage; then slowly BK pulls himself out of the twisted wood and metal and with a final dismissive look he stalks away as the EMTs rush in to assist Spider.
The camera follows BK backstage; just inside the curtain, RDK is shown with a cold smile on his face, and the crowds react angrily. BK walks up to him and stops.
BK: Is that the kind of demonstration you were looking for, Mr Commissioner?
RDK: Most certainly. I see a bright future for you in this business young man……..I wouldn’t be surprised to see you challenging for that TV title pretty soon.
BK smiles and shakes RDK’s hand; the pair proceed away down the corridor and the shot fades to black.

Match 2: Jack Fury vs Druids 1, 2 and 3 (Credit: White Rose)
The completely sold out GF WCW arena has been in a frenzy all night. They have been eagerly anticipating this match all week. The fans are talking amongst themselves and many wonder exactly what they are about to see. Most of them become silent as they see Philip put the mic up to his mouth.
Philip: Ladies and Gentleman, the following is a handicap match, introducing first from Greenock, Scotland, He is the HYT Champion, Jack Fury!
"I Am" his the arena’s sound system and Jack Fury comes out from behind the curtain to a barrage of boos. Though relatively new to GF WCW Fury has gotten the ire of the fans, they see him as a cocky smartass and he couldn’t care less. He walks down the ramp and enters the ring, the fans boo him louder as he holds his HYT belt in the air. He responds with an inappropriate hand gesture and takes his corner. Philip again raises the mic to his face.
Philip: And next, they are accompanied to the ring by one half of the GF WCW Tag Team Champions, Alexandra "The White Rose" Kaesar. From Parts Unknown, they are renowned across the land as the hosts of GF WCW Worldwide on Saturday nights, the harbingers of destruction, and the cloaked servants of the Lord of Hardcore. They are Druids #1, #2, and #3.
The lights go out……
GONG………<br>
GONG………<br> Mystical Gothic chanting is heard and Alexandra "The White Rose" Kaesar, in a black cloak, leads the druids out in a straight line; they go directly to the ring. The crowd boos Rose with complete and utter hatred, but are really indifferent towards the Druids. Rose enters the ring first and from inside her cloak brandishes the same hellish bullwhip used in the atrocity on Thunder, she gives it a warning snap before exiting. The Druids enter the ring and unlike Rose, they do not take of their cloaks, instead Druid #1 demands a microphone.
Druid #1: Cut our music, well, well, well, look who’s here, if it isn’t the HYT Champion Jack Fury.
Druid #3: Hey isn’t he the guy who begged and begged to join Pain Inc.?
Druid #2: Indeed!
Druid #3: He is? Well, that changes everything
Druid #3 extends his hand and Jack, who is a little confused, accepts. They shake hands, but Druid #3 pulls him into a stiff clothesline. The crowd cheers…..
Druid #1: It’s Clobberin’ Time!!!
Druid #2: Indeed!!!!
The crowd cheers loudly for the Druids and The Bell rings.
Fury is still on the ground from the clothesline as #1 comes towards him; #1 gives him a few kicks, picks him up and hits him with a few more punches and kicks. #1 gives him an Irish whip to the ropes, Fury bounces back and is hit by a monstrous Lou Thesz Press. The crowd is now firmly behind the Druids, they begin to chant "NUM-BER-ONE, NUM-BER-ONE". #1 picks up the awestruck Fury and gives him an Irish whip to the turnbuckle, #1 follows him and gives him a stiff clothesline. Fury falls to the ground like a sack of potatoes and #1 proceeds to stomp a mud hole into him unlike anything the GF WCW has ever seen. Fury is on the ground and #1 climbs the turnbuckle and gives a middle finger salute to the crowd. The crowd is cheering madly as #1 tags in #2. #1 and #3 distract the ref as Rose uses her bullwhip to strangle Fury who still is sitting prone at the turnbuckle. She lets go just as the Ref turns around. #2 stands in the middle of the ring and puts his hand to his ear and motions to the crowd in shades of Hulk Hogan and the crowd goes nuts. Fury gets up and just narrowly ducks #2’s clothesline and counters with a neck breaker. Fury is almost over his initial shock and picks up #2 and gives him a right hook and follows with one more for good measure and #2 is on the ground. Fury gives #2 a quick elbow drop and follows with yet another elbow drop, before picking #2 up, Irish whipping him, and giving him a vicious spine buster. Following this #2 is hit with an adrenaline rush and begins to shaking his fists furiously. Fury is awestruck and hits him with a stone like right hand, and another, and he tries for one more, but he is reversed by #2. #2 blocks the right hand and makes the "Oh No" motion with his finger, he Irish whips him and hits him with a big boot. The Crowd is cheering at the top of their lungs as #2 hits Fury with a running leg drop and goes for the pin. The Ref counts 1…………2……… and Fury Kicks out just in time.

#2 gets up and makes the tag to #3. #3 comes in and continues the aggressive onslaught by hitting Fury with a bone crushing Yakuza Kick. #3 picks up Fury and hits him with a text book Samoan Drop. Fury rolls out of the ring to escape the onslaught. He paces around the ring while the Druids await him in the ring. Rose comes up behind him and gives him a vicious dropkick, she picks him up and gives him a forceful and dominating kiss before sliding him into the ring. #3 goes for the pin, the ref counts 1…….2, and Fury kicks out just at 2. Fury begins to fight back; he hits #3 with a barrage of lefts and rights before putting him in a perfect sleeper hold. After a few seconds of struggling #3 hands go down, the ref lifts up his hand and it goes back down, the ref lifts his hand up again and it goes down. The fans begin to clap trying in whatever way they can to help #3, The ref lifts #3’s hand up and it goes halfway down before he starts feeling his power again and hits Fury with two elbows before pushing him to the ropes and hitting him with a clothesline. Rose starts to distract the ref. #3 throws his elbow pad to the crowd and bounces of both sides of the ropes before hitting Fury with a heart stopping elbow drop. All the Druids come in, #3 and #2 hits Jack with a Druid Death Drop(3-D) and #3 exits the ring, Druid #1 picks Fury up and hits him with a Druid Killer(Ace Crusher/Stone Cold Stunner), and Druid #2 hits him with another running leg drop. #3 re-enters the ring with a steel chair hits him with a skull splitting chairshot. #3 then puts the chair in Fury’s barely conscious hand and falls to the ground and plays possum. #1 and #2 go to their corners and act as if nothing happens. Rose ends her heated discussion with the ref and the ref turns around to see #1 and #2 pointing accusingly at Fury. The Ref is disgusted with Fury’s actions, throws the chair out of the ring, and seriously considers disqualifying Jack Fury. #3 slowly crawls in the wrong direction towards Rose. Rose yells at #3 to quit playing around and finish the match. The Crowd boos Rose for the sheer fact they are being very entertained and she glares back at them but does nothing. #3 crawls slowly to Fury and the Ref is genuinely touched by this emotional display of courage and watches as #3 puts one arm over Fury’s Chest. The Referee counts 1……..2……… but at the last second Fury lifts a shoulder. Everybody involved, many backstage, the crowd, and many watching at home are completely stunned, kicked out of four devastating finishing attacks. In an act of rage, all the Druids enter the ring and begin to stomp at Fury, #1 leaves the ring and picks up the chair used earlier. #1 reenters the ring and hits Fury with another skull splitting chairshot and busts Fury open. The Ref feels betrayed by the previously honorable Druids and calls for the bell.
Philip enters the ring and speaks on the mic.
Philip: The winner of this match by Disqualification, Jack Fury.
Philip exits the ring and the Crowd boos the decision as Fury, bleeding badly, is struggling to get to his feet, he opts to roll out of the ring and begins to limp back to the locker room. He is happy to get out with a victory and as he gets to the top he hears a voice on the Mic……
Rose: Don’t think this is over Fury, the Druids will not rest until they maim your pitiful body. You are an tiny and insignificant thorn in Lord Ridley’s side and I know just who will pull you out. 13, 22, 4, 5, 6 do it now.
All of a sudden from the Locker room all 5 of the remaining Druids come out and beat down Fury rather quickly. Rose walks up to the top of the ramp mic in hand. The Druids restrain Fury and hold him back.
Rose: Stop, Stop, we want to drag this on longer. He is not fit to be enlightened, but he will learn a lesson. 13, 22 could you tell him what he will be learning
Druid #13: Yes Mistress. Insolent Fool, you will learn that Eunuch’s don’t F*** around.
Druid 13 gives him a thunderous punch, and 22 picks him up and they give him a double Powerbomb, Fury lies prone on the ground, and the 5 druids exit. Rose turns around and glares at the Druids 1,2,3 still in the ring.
Rose: Well, Well, Well. You had the match won and you had to go and get disqualified. You have disappointed me, and most of all you have disappointed Lord Ridley. May God have mercy on your souls, for neither I nor Lord Ridley shall. Make no mistake, I will enjoy what I am about to do to you three more than anything I have in a while, well except that time Lord Ridley, Blaze, and I played Doctor.
Rose laughs at her wit, the crowd boos Rose loudly, and Rose smiles cracks her bullwhip in a foreboding manner of the horrors that await Druids 1,2,3. Rose exits behind the curtains and the Druids have the look of fear about them and leave the ring in a single file formation to accept their punishment in the Demon Pit. Moments later, Fury, title on his waist is helped to the back by backstage personnel

Segment: Two can play that game……
The scene is Commissioner Gingerdude’s office; Ginger sits in a leather chair, with Skurai standing a couple of feet away.
Skurai: Mr Commissioner, I wanted to thank you for this opportunity. When I got the call on Friday I was surprised to say the least. How did you manage to get Spider to agree to defer his title shot?
Ginger: It was simple really……….I persuaded him that a talent such as his should be showcased on the big stage of Bash At The Beach, not confined to a regular Nitro. Being a conceited guy, he lapped that up without much difficulty. And in any case, it looks like his bravado has come back to hit him where it hurts………after BK London’s actions he wouldn’t be fit to compete tonight anyway.
Ginger pauses for a second before continuing.
Ginger: You and I both have damn good reasons for wanting to see Pain Inc. take a fall…………tonight Skurai, I and many others are depending on you to start paying Ridley, WCW and the rest back for everything they’ve done. I was going to ban Rose and RDK from ringside along with the druids, but I think you should know that Ridley actually made the request to WCW himself for them to stay backstage. I don’t know why he would do this, but I don’t trust anything that Ridley does any more. I can’t prevent WCW from attending any more than Ridley can, so I will stay at ringside myself in case he tries to pull anything shifty.
Skurai: I understand. Ridley claims to be an expert in pain……….well tonight, I will be the teacher, and I’ll give Ridley a lesson he’ll never forget.
Ginger nods; Skurai turns and leaves the office, and the scene fades out

Match 3: GWD Vs El Loco (with Rey McFoley)
The prospect of a Skurai / Ridley rematch excites the crowd and they stay hyped up as “One of a Kind” by Breaking Point hits
Philip: The next match is set for one fall……….introducing first, from Staunton VA, GWD!
GWD comes out, obviously pleased to be back in action for the first time since Uncensored. He has a point to prove, and he looks focused as he ascends the steps to the ring.
Faint by Linkin Park hits
Philip: And his opponent, from Long Island New York………El Loco!
The artist formerly known as Edge springs out into the arena, with Rey McFoley a couple of steps behind. EL wants to get into battle as quickly as possible, and he practically runs to the ring; Rey jogs after him and makes himself comfortable close to the apron as the referee signals for the match to get underway.
Bell Rings.
GWD and EL clash together and swap blows to the upper body; both men are powerful hitters, but both are also able to soak up the punishment that the other hands out. EL goes for a whip to the ropes which is reversed by GWD; undaunted, EL shoots back and knocks GWD down with a crossbody. Both men roll back to their feet and move in close once more; they grapple, and GWD starts to work on EL’s lower body with his feet and knees. EL responds by targeting GWD’s calves, and a rough game of shin – kicking breaks out. EL gets the upper hand and GWD tries to break free, but as soon as GWD removes his hands from EL’s shoulders, EL shifts his grip to GWD’s head and hits a swift facebuster to his knee. The impact is hard and GWD drops; EL makes a cover, which GWD breaks at about 1.5. GWD is not best pleased with EL’s tactics, and he makes his feelings known with an inverted DDT; GWD makes a pin of his own, and almost gets 2 before EL kicks out.
The pace of the match is quick, and shows no signs of slowing down as the pair meet once again; GWD whips EL to the corner and runs in to drive his shoulder into his opponent. EL slips down to the mat, and GWD goes to work viciously with his feet, cursing and EL; Rey jumps up on to the apron and GWD breaks off his attack to try and push Rey back. Rey easily avoids GWD’s punch, and the brief distraction gives EL a chance to formulate a counter – plan; he stays on the mat, but when GWD tries to return to kicking him he rolls aside out of the ring and GWD accidentally kicks the metal post instead. GWD hops away from the post, holding his foot, but he strays too close to the edge of the ring; with lighting speed EL grabs his other foot and hauls him out of the ring, impacting his head and back on first the canvas and then the crash matting outside. GWD’s head spins, and he is further disabled by a leg drop from EL; as he lies on the outside, EL climbs back on to the apron and, with supreme grace, he launches into a tope con hilo (suicide headbutt with somersault) that connects powerfully with GWD. The crowd cheers the impressive move and Rey helps EL to bundle GWD back into the ring; EL rolls up GWD and the count is just short of 3 before GWD busts free. GWD knows he is in trouble, so he decides to turn the odds in his favour; he exchanges punches and kicks with EL, biding his time, until the referee moves between his opponent and one of the ring posts; suddenly, GWD switches tack and drives EL back against the post with a spear, crushing the referee in the process. The referee slumps, out cold from the impact of the post to the back of his head, and GWD smiles as he moves in menacingly on EL.
With the referee down, GWD low – blows EL and he curls up in pain; with a smooth movement GWD pivots and lays out Rey as he tries to help his partner. The fans boo GWD and he flips them off, laughing; the smile on his face is wiped away however as “Flower of Carnage” hits, and GWD runs forward to the side of the ring, looking toward the entrance. In doing so he completely misses Yoko Satoshi’s approach from the rear, croquet mallet in hand; Rey is coming around and sees her, but he realises that Yoko’s target is also his foe and he does nothing to warn GWD. The crowd is cheering like mad, and GWD turns around just in time to receive a blow to the gut from the mallet; he doubles over and Yoko hits her Flying Guillotine (Fameasser) finsher with great power. GWD hits the mat and Yoko gives him a final shot to his back for good measure, while Rey laughs himself silly at the sight of GWD brought low by his petite rival. The referee begins to stir, and both Yoko and Rey make swift exits from the ring; EL, who has recovered from the low blow somewhat, rolls over and covers GWD with one arm. The referee counts and GWD tries to respond, but he is just milliseconds too late; the 3 count is given, and the audience erupts as the bell rings.
Philip: Here is your winner……………El Loco!
El Loco jumps to his feet and raises his arms in victory; Rey enters the ring and both the Pocos celebrate together. GWD is absolutely livid; he complains bitterly to the referee who, of course, he had knocked out in the first place. Rey is gleefully filling EL in on the parts of Yoko’s action that he missed, and EL can’t suppress his mirth; GWD just gets even more angry, but he realises that attacking the Pocos together would just make a rod for his own back. Fuming, GWD storms backstage with the Pocos and the crowd’s laughter ringing in his ears, already plotting his revenge……..

Segment: Bad Omens (Credit: Ridley)
In the Demon Pit, Ridley is pacing back and forth; he seems to have a lot on his mind. Rose comes out of her quarters into the throne room, still on a high from the events on Thunder; as she approaches she sees Ridley, and her expression changes to one of concern.
Rose: My lord, you have been most distracted all day, when you should be revelling in the destruction that your mighty powers have wreaked upon our foes! Will you not tell me what it is that troubles you?
Ridley jumps at Rose’s voice; quickly he composes himself back into his more normal confident persona.
Ridley: I am perfectly fine, Alexandra. I have been considering how best to annihilate my opponent this evening, it is a difficult decision, there are so many possibilities…….
Rose: There would be more possibilities if the commissioner and I were at your side…….I still do not understand why you wish to face Skurai alone.
Ridley: Rose, I have no doubt over your abilities or those of RDK……..but tonight I wish to demonstrate my own pure power, to silence those who doubt my skills in the most crushing way possible. I want Skurai to know that I took him apart, unassisted by any other wrestler……and then his failure will be complete.
Rose: What about the Chairman?
Ridley: If the Chairman wishes to attend the match, then I have no say in the matter……but if he is determined to do so then I may have some use for him. Now leave me, I wish to consider matters further in private.
Rose: As you wish, my lord.
Rose leaves and Ridley is alone once more. Ridley faces the floor-to-ceiling mirror in the Demon Pit, rolling his neck around on his shoulders. As the vertebrae pop loudly, he lets out a sigh.
Ridley: Another day, another beating. Shouldn't be too difficult.
He glances at the other end of the Pit, ensuring that the door is tightly shut. Ridley's a man who values his privacy, if for no other reason than well-merited paranoia.
Ridley: Easy enough for a man like me, I suppose. There's no way that---
He stops, seeing the giant red druid's reflection behind his in the mirror. The look on Ridley's face changes quickly from "time to get ready" to "its vision's based on movement, stay very still" as he jerks upright, staring at the twin points of light under the druid's hood.
Ridley: Lord Asmodeus...this is unexpected.
Red Druid: Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.
Ridley: ......!? Was that a joke
Red Druid: Yes, you fool. You were simply too obtuse to let me lighten the mood.
Ridley: *sarcastically* I beg your pardon, M'LORD, it's just that you're not usually the type to display a vague hint of sentient life, let alone----
This is as far as Ridley gets, unfortunately for him, before he is bodily lifted off the ground by an unseen force and slammed, face first, into the mirror, cracking the glass slightly. He drops back to the floor and staggers, clutching the side of his head, as the druid speaks again.
Red Druid: No one, least of all a pathetic worm such as yourself, should presume to speak in my general direction with a tone of voice like THAT. Clear?
Ridley: *heaving for breath* Crystal, m'lord.
Another invisible blow knocks Ridley on his side, leaving him essentially incapacitated.
Red Druid: You will be punished.
Ridley: Yes, m'lord.
Red Druid: And the bloodshed must continue tonight. You face Skurai, correct?
Ridley: Correct, m'lord.
Red Druid: What matters tonight is not whether you walk out of the ring with a chunk of leather and gold around your waist. What matters is that you walk out and that he has to be carried out. You enlightened Blaze, now educate Skurai.
Ridley: He'll beg for mercy before I put him under, m'lord.
Red Druid: Good.
Ridley looks back from the mirror, only to find that the druid has disappeared. He slowly stands, clutching his side.
Ridley: God, it feels like he cracked a rib or something...
Fade out.

Match 4: Venom vs EvilRMQ (Credit: Latino)
Everyone is expecting Philip to announce the next match, but instead Girls & Boys by Good Charlotte start playing as Evil walks through the curtains. The fans are less than ecstatic to see his face. They immediately start booing him and throw trash as he walks down entrance ramp towards the ring. As he enters the ring, Evil snatches a mic from an assistant and looks arrogantly at the crowd.
Evil: That’s enough, you morons! (booing gets noticeably louder, but Evil goes on anyway). I’ve been away for a little while……and do you know why? Because quite frankly, the competition up until now has been pathetic! But I get bored easily, you see, so I thought I’d make an open challenge to anyone I’ve never faced before. So if there’s anyone in that locker room who thinks they can take me on, why don’t you put your money where your mouth is and get yourself out to this ring, right now!
Evil waits along with the crowd; for a few moments everything is still, and Evil smirks.
Evil: I thought as much. Bunch of losers……..
Suddenly the arena goes dark, and Tonight by Staind starts playing. “HE’S HERE” appears on the titantron, and a spotlight shines down at the entrance to the ring as a completely unknown wrestler emerges from the curtain. He looks from side to side and slowly makes his way down the aisle. As he enters the ring, the word “Venom” is displayed over the mat from another spotlight above. The lights come back on, and the man regards Evil coolly.
Venom: I accept your challenge Evil……..My name is Venom. Prepare to lose.
The Bell Rings.
Both men stare at each other and then at the fans as they can hear fans yell at both competitors. Evil poses for the fans to try and get a cheap pop but all he gets is a drink thrown in his face from a fan in the front row. Venom, laughing at what has just occurred, runs up and sidelines Evil with a boot to the face. Evil is standing though a little dizzy. Venom sees this and gives his opponent a DDT to the mat. Venom stands up over his opponent and starts kicking him. The fans, not happy with either wrestler, start a “Boring” chant. Venom is more than a little annoyed by this, and hell bent on proving the fans wrong picks up Evil and throws him head first into the top turnbuckle. Venom picks up Evil once more and throws him completely over the top rope sending him down to the outside canvas. Venom steps over the top turnbuckle and stands Evil up. A fan in the front row has a McDonald’s bag full of food and spills it over both superstars. Venom punches Evil and then tries to go over the barrier. Two security men rush over to take the fan away as he keeps screaming “I got on TV! I got on TV!” Evil takes this opportunity to climb the barrier and perform a shining wizard to Venom’s face. This move sends Venom over towards the steel steps and Evil over the barrier on the harsh concrete. The referee now has counted to 7 and only Evil is starting to get back up. Evil makes his way over the barrier and slides back into the ring. Venom hearing the ref count to 9 crawls back into the ring as well only to get a baseball slide to the face by Evil. Evil picks his opponent up and goes for a suplex but Venom stops him right there. He pushes Evil down to the mat and climbs the turnbuckle waiting for Evil to stand up. As his opponent gets up Venom dives off the top turnbuckle and nails a spear. Venom, signalling for the end, stands up and towers over his opponent. Venom picks him up by Evil’s hair but Evils pushes Venom into the ref that just loves to get in the way. This sends the referee over the second rope. Venom walks back over to his opponent only to get a low blow sending the big man down. Evil rolls outside and brings in a chair; he goes to smack Venom but Venom counters with an elbow to the stomach. Evil drops the chair and Venom performs the Venomous Bite (Styles Clash) on top of the chair. Venom pushes the chair outside and drags the ref back inside. He covers Evil for the slow count of DOOM! 1…..2……3!
Phillip: Here is your winner…Venom!
After the match the fans have grown increasingly angry over what has happened. Not because of who won but the fact that “I got on TV” guy was thrown out of the arena. They start throwing garbage in the ring and one bottle hits Venom in the face. As Evil gets back up, a nearby fan throws another drink at him at the same time yelling “Goldberg can put on better matches than you!” Evil has had enough, and he walks up the ramp leaving Venom laying on the mat with bottles, cans, and other pieces of garbage littered around him.

Match 5: V3 vs Kane vs PDogg
The next match is one the fans have waited for some time to see, as the US Champion and his 2 major challengers are set to meet in the same ring, all at once for the first time.
Philip: This match is a triple threat match, set for one fall……….the first person to pin either of his opponents will be declared the winner.
Git Up by D12 hits
Philip: Entering first, from Las Vegas…………….V3!
V3 enters to a great deal of cheering and applause; he greets the fans, but he is obviously thinking hard about the challenge he now faces in taking on his 2 biggest rivals at once.
Slow Chemical by Finger 11 hits, and the arena is bathed in a fiery red glow.
Philip: Now entering the arena…………….Kane!
Kane flexes his muscles as he comes to the ring; the fans give him heat but there is no denying that he is a determined and ruthless competitor, who makes an indelible impression on any match he is involved in.
Wait and Bleed by Slipknot hits, and PDogg steps out into the light, US title gleaming on his shoulder.
Philip: And the final participant……from Cameron North Carolina, the WCW US Champion………PDogg!
PDogg ignores the crowd’s angry reaction to his recent behaviour; all his attention is on his opponents, and he slaps the belt with his hand indicating that he does not intend to give it up to either of them. He enters the ring and all 3 men face off, no love lost between any of them; the referee takes the belt and wisely gets the match started before the situation deteriorates into an uncontrollable brawl.
Bell Rings.
At the sound of the bell, both V3 and PDogg head straight for Kane; they evidently both consider their 6 ft 11 opponent to be the number one priority. Kane doesn’t seem to mind taking on 2 men at once, and he shares his massive blows evenly between them. V3 is the first to fall, and PDogg opportunistically goes for an elbow drop; but as soon as it hits, Kane grabs on to PDogg and powerslams him right on top of the unfortunate V3. Kane’s strength is incredible and despite being a heel, the fans cheer his skill; Kane makes a pin on V3 as PDogg rolls off, but PDogg sees the referee come in for the count and gets back to his knees to push Kane off before 2. PDogg goes to work on Kane before he has a chance to get up, kicking and punching any part of Lane that he can reach. This slows Kane in getting to his feet, and just before he does so PDogg steps back a little to get some room to use his Harley Race knee. With Kane still a little dazed, PDogg moves in and hits his Northern Lights Suplex; Kane’s size means that PDogg has to expend more energy than normal to execute the move. PDogg pins Kane, but V3 has taken a breather as his opponents battle, and now he comes in at full power, breaking the pin with a dropkick straight to PDogg’s face. PDogg falls back and V3 scrabbles over the top of Kane for a quick cover, which PDogg breaks just after 2.
All 3 men are now drawn into the match, and they all fight individually, attacking anyone in range. Kane swiftly seems to tire of this, and he allows V3 and PDogg to become absorbed in a lock – up while he silently slips over to one of the corners. The referee is watching the grappling pair, which pleases Kane; quietly he loosens the turnbuckle pads before returning to the main battle. PDogg just manages to get the better of V3, spinning him around before hitting a full nelson atomic drop; V3 drops down to his knees, but before PDogg can follow through, Kane grabs his arm and whips him into the prepared corner. Kane pursues and thrusts his shoulder against PDogg’s own, on the right; he does this several times and after the first couple the turnbuckle cover slips away and PDogg howls as his shoulder is driven against bare metal, beginning to swell and bruise almost immediately. Kane spins PDogg around so that he is facing away from the ring, and Kane continues his attack on the same shoulder so that it is wounded both front and back. The assault is only stopped when V3 splashes into Kane, driving him against PDogg in the corner; this stuns Kane just long enough for V3 to pull him away. PDogg is in severe pain, and looks in no condition to threaten V3 immediately; V3 capitalises and locks on his Invertigo submission hold, being careful to keep PDogg where he can see him.
Kane struggles against V3, who holds him as long as he can; eventually though the size difference becomes telling and Kane breaks free. V3 runs to the ropes and rebounds, trying to knock Kane down; all he manages however is to hurtle straight into Kane’s boot. Kane smiles as V3 falls, but PDogg wipes his grin away with his dropkick – to – knee move, and follows up with his PDG (the use of which causes him to grimace with pain). V3 is still in cloud cuckoo land, and PDogg sees a glimmer of hope; with a huge effort he lifts Lane and runs with him to the edge of the ring, throwing him out through the ropes so that he crashes into the announce tables. V3 is staggering back to his feet, and both men realise that they have a chance to win; V3 uses PDogg’s injury to his advantage and distracts him with a blow to the shoulder that sends pain signals straight to PDogg’s brain, breaking his focus. V3 superkicks him to the floor, and with the crowd behind him he climbs the turnbuckle and signals for the Ragin’ Azn. V3 takes flight, but he is just a fraction too slow; PDogg rolls aside at the very last moment and V3 takes the full impact himself. With Kane starting to stir on the outside and his energy almost gone, PDogg gambles everything; pushing back his pain, he lifts V3 and hits his Bad Blood (Canadian Backbreaker into DDT) finisher in the centre of the ring. PDogg pins, agony etched across his face as he hooks the leg; the referee counts 1-2-3 and PDogg slumps, the effort having taken everything out of him.
Philip: Here is your winner………PDogg!
Somehow PDogg has pulled off the win, but the cost has been high; he holds his shoulder in obvious pain, which Kane sees as he picks himself up on the outside of the ring. Kane gives a shadowy smile; he has lost the match, but in injuring the champion he believes he has sown the seeds of a critical advantage for the title match at Bash at the Beach, and he looks satisfied as he heads back to the locker rooms. PDogg is obviously angry and he gives V3 a further kick as he tries to rise before exiting the ring; his girlfriend Dream comes to meet him on the ramp (once Kane is safely gone) and she helps him out of the arena. V3 pulls himself to his feet and watches them go; he is stung by his loss to the champion, but he keeps things in perspective and is grateful to have avoided the more damaging effects of Kane’s gameplan. As V3 leaves to acclaim from his fans, he is already thinking about how he can use Kane’s aggression to his own advantage when the 3 meet to contest the title for real.

Segment: Do what you gotta do
The camera shows Latino, sitting hunched up in the main locker room and lost in his thoughts. As he broods, the door to the room is thrown open and a seriously pissed off PDogg enters, being assisted by Dream. Dream helps PDogg over to the lockers and he leans on them, clutching his injured shoulder; Dream looks around her and is clearly very much on edge, as if expecting attack at any second.
PDogg: Thanks, baby…….now why don’t you go and get the two of us something to drink while I get dressed?
Dream: uh…………ok…………(she looks afraid at the thought of being separated from PDogg)
PDogg: Don’t worry honey, if you need me just call out and I’ll be there before you know it.
Dream nods and smiles, but she is still very nervous as she exits the room. Latino watches her go, and then turns to PDogg.
Latino: Your girlfriend doesn’t look too happy tonight esse………<br> PDogg looks at Latino, and barely suppressed anger glints in his eyes.
PDogg: Happy? HAPPY?! Of course she’s not happy man, she’s freckin’ terrified, just like a lot of the people here! If she didn’t have me to look out for her, I doubt she’d be here at all after what happened last week………..but she’s going to be ok, my strategy will see to that.
Latino hears the edge in PDogg’s voice and is not comfortable, but he remains calm.
Latino: Do you mean your “strategy” that involves beating people up at every opportunity, holmes?
PDogg: Listen man, it ain’t nothin’ personal, with any of those guys……….but I have to be sure that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, knows that I’m not a guy to mess with. It ain’t enough to be strong, and it don’t matter if you’re morally right or not……..in this fed, it’s the nice guys who suffer……..and the nice gals, too. If you’d been smart like me and Dream, perhaps things would be different now.
Latino is now visibly growing angry, and he stands up.
Latino: So what are you trying to say, esse?
PDogg: Whoa, chill man………….look I’m real sorry about what happened to Blaze, but the pair of you knew what you were getting into when you stuck your noses into places they didn’t belong. If you couldn’t see what was going to happen then you’re a fool, and so was she.
Latino (getting right in PDogg’s face): Damnit, stop referring to my mamacita in the past tense! She isn’t dead holmes!
PDogg (losing his temper): So what? She’s in a frecking coma, man……….you know her brain is probably mush, it would have been kinder if she HAD died!
PDogg has voiced Latino’s very worst fears……..unable to deal with them, he flips out and with a scream of mental agony he rips into PDogg, landing blow after blow against his head and injured shoulder. PDogg yells out in pain and tries to defend himself, but Latino’s grip on reality is slipping and he drives PDogg’s shoulder against the lockers over and over again until the pain becomes so intense that PDogg passes out in a heap on the concrete floor. Latino stares at him for a few seconds, then with a demented smile on his face he picks up his sledgehammer and cradles it lovingly before stalking out of the locker room.
The camera follows Latino out into the corridor and shows him walking purposefully away; then the shot turns around to show 2 hooded druids watching him from the other end of the hall. As the shot gets closer, we see that these druids are somewhat different from Ridley’s minions; they have red details stitched across their robes, and from beneath their hoods there is a faint red glow where their eyes would normally be.
Druid 1: Everything is proceeding as our master would wish.
Druid 2: Indeed.
The lights flick off for a second, and the druids mysteriously disappear; scene fades out.

Match 6: Bladeshadow vs Rey Mcfoley (with El Loco) – Poco Loco Extreme
As the steel cage descends to its starting position above the ring for the Poco Loco Extreme, the crowd’s excitement grows; the metal bat suspended just below it glints in the arena lights.
Philip: This match will be contested under the Poco Loco Extreme format……..the participants will fight to reach the metal baseball bat above the ring; when it is retrieved by one of the contestants, the steel cage will descend into position and the winner of the match will be the first person to throw their opponent out through the wall of the cage. Introducing first, the cruiserweight champion – accompanied by El Loco, Rey McFoley!
”Beautiful People” hits, and Rey comes out in a confident mood, belt slung over his shoulder. He seems much happier to be taking on Bladeshadow without Ridley’s gaze upon him, and El Loco is also feeling strong following his victory over GWD.
Drowning Pool’s “The Game” hits and the crowd arises as Bladeshadow steps into the arena lights, ready to avenge his only singles loss as champion and beat the Pocos at their own game.
Philip: And his opponent, from Upstate New York………The WCW Champion, Bladeshadow!
Blade comes down to the ring; he looks at the ladders, metal bat and cage, considering his options carefully in his mind. Rey and EL taunt him, but Blade just smiles and points at his belt in reply. The referee takes the belts from the contestants, and EL retires to the outside of the ring as the referee signals for the bell.
Bell Rings.
Rey and Blade note the positions of the waiting ladders at the side of the ring before they turn their attentions to one another. Rey catches Blade off guard with a quick clothesline and goes for a leg drop, but Blade rolls away instantly and administers a leg drop of his own before Rey can get up from his failed attempt. Blade picks up Rey and throws him out of the ring before exiting himself to collect a ladder; he has just set it up when Rey springs from the apron to the top rope and knocks Blade to the ground as he leaps forward. The ladder shakes, but does not topple over; Blade and Rey exchange blows and Blade quickly overcomes Rey, powerbombing him into the canvas. With Rey down, Blade starts to climb up after the bat; Rey though is a tough contender, and he climbs up behind Blade. He catches up at about the halfway point on the ladder, and he wraps his legs around Blade’s waist while holding on to the ladder with his arms. Rey crushes Blade as hard as he can; Blade feels the pain, and realises he has to do something quickly. With lightning speed, Blade rips Rey’s arms away from the ladder and jumps backwards; there is a cry from the crowd as the pair plunge down several feet, and Rey is himself squashed between Blade and the mat. Both men are winded by the fall, and they lay still as the referee begins to count.
Blade pulls himself up first; he is still a little dizzy but he makes his way back to the ladder. As he approaches, Rey gets back to his feet; he attacks Blade’s lower legs with a low dropkick and Blade drops down on to one knee. Rey has found a second burst of energy and he attacks Blade’s head and chest with a series of chops; then he swings a foot for a big kick, but Blade catches it and stands back up. Rey jumps into a kick with his other leg and both men drop once more. Rey responds quickly and climbs up to the nearest post; as Blade stands he jumps down and hits an Axe handle that makes Blade stagger and fall over the second rope. Rey wastes no time, hitting the 619 to send Blade back to the centre of the ring; Blade knocks his head against the ladder and lies still on the canvas. Rey grabs his chance and, cheered on by El Loco, he swiftly ascends the ladder; Blade is getting back up but he realises that he cannot climb the ladder quickly enough to catch Rey. Instead, he hurries to the ladder and begins to rock it, back and forth; Rey holds on but the angle of the ladder becomes critical and it falls; Rey rides it down and times his jump off perfectly to land safely in the ring. Rey stands up and raises his arms……..but his celebration is cut short as Blade grabs the ladder (which is leaning against the top rope) and swings it horizontally, smashing it into Rey’s head and flooring him instantly. Blade goes to set the ladder again, but as he does so he looks up at the bat above and an idea hits him. Holding the ladder up high, Blade is able to make the top end touch the bat; he lines up the ladder, and then swings it to hit the bat. The weight makes the ladder difficult to control, but Blade is a strong man and he does not get flustered; he lines up the ladder again and swings it hard, and with a clang of metal on metal the bat is dislodged from its hook and drops down, bouncing out of the ring. The cage starts to descend, and Blade throws the ladder to the outside; he quickly rolls out of the ring and retrieves the bat, returning just in time before the cage slides into place. Rey is just getting back up, and his eyes blaze with anger as Blade approaches, bat in hand.
Blade swings the bat at Rey, and Rey ducks; Blade continues to pursue his opponent but Rey has no intention of getting hit. Eventually Blade makes a mistake, and Rey is able to land a couple of blows; Blade is dazed just enough for Rey to take the bat from him, and with gusto he lays into the WCW Champion, whose skin becomes covered with angry red marks as Rey goes to work. Blade is in trouble, and Rey uses a final shot to the head to make the champ drop to the mat; Rey discards the bat and lifts Blade up across his shoulders. Rey is strong for his size, but he realizes that he is at a disadvantage; with all his strength he throws Blade at the steel cage wall, but it is only buckled, not broken, by the impact. Rey looks at the bent panels, and then retrieves the bat; he hammers at the panel joins in an attempt to loosen them. El Loco watches, and shouts out a warning to Rey; the cruiser champ turns to see Blade approaching, and he counters the attack into a back body drop that impacts Blade against the steel once again, bending it still further. Rey looks and sees that some parts of the wir have started to fracture; Rey smiles and senses that victory is near. Blade has taken a lot of punishment and looks to be in a bad way; Rey approaches, but he underestimates his opponent and as he looks to take hold of him again, Blade surprises him with a swift DDT. Blade picks up Rey easily and takes a run up, hurling him against the damaged panel; a part of it becomes entirely detached and the crowd roars, but Rey bounces off and falls back into the ring. EL yells to Rey to get up, and he battles hard against Blade – but the WCW champ has him caught against the ropes and his superior strength overcomes Rey, sending him to the mat. Blade climbs the post and signals for the Thor’s Hammer; he leaps off just as Rey is on his knees and nails him in the head. Rey crashes to the mat, and Blade gathers him up; with a final huge effort he throws Rey head - first at the cracked wire panel, and this time the whole thing gives way; Rey is catapulted out of the cage and down on to the matting outside, with the crowd cheering ecstatically as the bell rings.
Philip: Here is your winner……..Bladeshadow!
From the outside of the cage, Rey picks himself up; he and EL are furious and they shout abuse at Blade. Blade though couldn’t care less, and he feels elated as the referee raises his hand. Both EL and Rey come forward and climb into the cage; Blade defends himself and he holds them off for a little while, but the combined power of the Pocos soon has him on the ropes. Then suddenly the crowd is on its feet again, and Flea comes racing to the ring; He goes straight to work on EL and hurls him into the unbroken part of the cage. With the odds made fair, Blade’s size proves too much for Rey alone, and he also takes another trip into the cage wall, courtesy of both Flea and Blade working together. With the heels lying defeated, Blade and Flea leave the cage; Blade shakes Flea’s hand in gratitude before making his way back to the locker rooms. Flea waits for EL to start to come around; as EL looks in his direction Flea gestures, indicating that he has taken his revenge for EL’s cheating in the first PLE match at Uncensored. EL’s face shows his anger with Flea has only grown, and their feud looks set to continue in the run up to Bash At The Beach as Flea leaves the arena.

Match 7: Skurai vs Ridley (TV Title Match)
The crowd can barely contain themselves as Foley’s theme hits and Commissioner Ginger comes to the ring. He takes the microphone from Philip and waits a few seconds for the crowd’s hollering to die down before he speaks.
Ginger: It’s time, Ridley, you can’t escape it; you are going to defend your TV Title right now, in this very ring!
The crowd is hyped up and Ginger has to pause again.
Ginger: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages – I present the challenger for the TV Title!
Everyone is on their feet, straining to be the first to spot the superstar as they enter; suddenly the lights go out, and the crowd reaction is extraordinary as New Noise by Refused screams throughout the arena………..
Skurai comes to the ring, raising his arms high and soaking up the crowd’s energy. Ginger hands the microphone to Philip, who has to practically yell his introduction.
Philip: The last match of the evening is for the WCW TV Title! Making his way to the ring, the challenger from Sacramento California………..Skurai!
Skurai jumps into the ring and strides around it before taking a second mic from an assistant, and the crowd quietens itself to hear what he has to say.
Skurai: Ridley……..I knew you were hardcore. I knew you were as crazy as fuck, and if I’m honest I admired your cunning and will to win, even after the events of Uncensored. But now, now I’ve seen your true nature I feel nothing except a deep revulsion – you and your pals are vermin, plain and simple. And I’m going to exterminate the lot of you, starting with the biggest cockroach of all. So get your ass to this ring, because the next ambulance you see will be the one rushing you to intensive care!
Skurai throws down the mic, anger causing him to actually shake a little as he does so; the crowd roars in response to his statement, and the noise ramps up even further as the lights are extinguished for a second time……..
GONG…….
GONG……
And Ridley steps out into the dim blue glow of the arena, with a belt on each shoulder; he glares right at Skurai and Ginger in the ring before advancing slowly down the ramp toward them.
Philip: Now entering the arena, the defending WCW TV Title holder……….Ridley!
Gay Bar hits, and the fans boo him as an out – and – out monster, their previous affection wiped out by the events on Thunder; Ridley does not pay them any heed, but climbs up into the ring and stares down his opponent. Ginger slips out of the ring, and as he does so he sees the Chairman come down the ramp and take up a position close to Ridley on one side of the ring. Ginger cannot prevent the Chairman’s attendance, but he stays at ringside on the opposite side to cover Skurai’s back. The referee breaks the standoff, taking the belts from Ridley along with his robes; Skurai also sheds his extra layers, and the referee wastes no time in signalling for the bell to get the match underway.
Bell Rings.
Ridley and Skurai circle slowly, eyes locked on one another; Ridley has no desire to “play” with his opponent this time and he suddenly lunges forward, punching at Skurai with every intention of knocking his head clean off his shoulders. Skurai dodges, and returns fire with just as much fury; they land simultaneous blows on one another and both stagger back a few steps from the impact. Ridley recovers just a little before Skurai, and he grabs him by the shoulders before delivering a vicious headbutt; Skurai recoils, but he also takes his opponent by the shoulders and uses a string of kicks to the gut, as close to Ridley’s groin as he dares. Ridley pulls himself free and tries to back up to the ropes for a running attack, but Skurai follows and, to the cheers of the crowd, he clotheslines Ridley out over the top rope so that he bounces painfully on the apron before hitting the crash mats. WCW is not pleased by the early form of the match, and he shouts at Ridley; Ridley gives him a look that is so malevolent that WCW shuts up immediately. Skurai does not follow Ridley from the ring; instead he stands waiting, taunting Ridley and telling him to have himself counted out if he is afraid. This just enrages Ridley further, and he springs back into the ring at the 7 count, hell bent on taking Skurai down.
