Every now and again I think of restarting GWF. Then I remember why I shut the place down and forget about it >_> Because Castle Island Wrestling was awesome? Damn straight...

It'd be nice if a mod or admin would clean up the boards and put stuff that's not related to the revival into an archive.

If anyone doesn't object I will help by naming the show and the PPV's.
The format I would like to use is 1984-1990 WWF which had 4 Major PPV's a year (Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series and later, King of the Ring). These are the staple PPV's which would be bi-monthly. In between would be our bi-monthly shows.
I will come up with an outline tonight and even a schedule. What I DO need is what day our shows will be. You can all vote on it if you like it or send me back to the drawing board. I do not care.

We also need promo rules. I vote no more than two per show with no text limit, though a general consensus that we aren't going to be doing twenty page stuff only if an incident happens that calls for a bigger type promo. We also need to discuss how joint promos will be rewarded, as I was never a fan of one guy does 95 of the work, the other guy fills in their lines, but yet both get equal credit.

This is my idea for the promo system.
Promo's are split into two types of promo's.
Single Promo's Whether it be just say Repoman getting on the mic or Dictator Kuroyasha barking at his cronies, this is a promo which predominantly revolves around a key character. These are the promos that influence week by week progression. Good solo promo's means increased chances of winning matches.
Co-Op Promo's The more important of the two, co-op promo's are the life blood of storylines. When two central characters get together for a backstage brawl or to sort things out they progress on the long term. It's fairly obvious from individual writing styles who's writing what, so the person who works more with other people and puts on better storylines will be more likely to proceed to a main event spot rather than someone who puts in less time and just fills their lines half-heartedly.
Then, as for limits. No text length, but two promo's a week, one from each.

I beliebe in 'dis shit.
Though I think it would be better to do shows every other week, as opposed to once a month. I think we all know how short the attention spans are and that long of a lay off might 'cause a number of people to lose it. It's not like we're writing novels every week, and with co-segments it's really three segments a month ... that's what it used to be every week.

A bi-monthly Fallout sounds like a good idea.

I think it is safe to say that we have all agreed that Fallout is already slated for biweekly.
PPV's are tri-monthly, which needs approval.
