I still like the idea of a Friday Night Fallout. Regardless, if anything comes of this I think it'd be best to do it on either a bi-monthly or monthly basis with only one show.

Yeah, well I was thinking bi-weekly would be the best way forward.
And holy fuck at the interest >_> I really thought this was going to be something that was like, 95% me and Yoko and 5% someone randomly once a fortnight or so.

So I've been thinking about this Fallout revival as well as playing the Fallout video games I've come up with some ideas as to the Fallout revival and ways it could be done.
I'm thinking that if we're going to do this away from the ACW universe we should try and contrast it on as many levels as possible. Looking at ACW it's fairly obvious what it was. It was a WWE style, global phenomenon on steroids that had it's own island. The company was a highly structured, hierarchical fed at the top end of the scale with ridiculous production and roster budgets, insane t-shirt sales and insane amounts of cash to throw around etc. So for a Fallout revival this means that we size down dramatically to say, a state fed in America somewhere which is on the verge of touring and going national and instead of those expensive high production rate images and transitions that we used to take for granted we replace it with a gritty no-man's land. Think the same sort of environment as ECW minus the excessive no-DQ matches and Paul Heyman.
As for how the place would be run you've obviously got to consider authority figures. Who owns the company? In ACW we had a number of chairmen, most famously Gingerdude but as well we had Hawthorne, Russo and even Commissioner Zero running ACW at one point. Following the ideas of Fallout and the Fallout video games I vote we have a governing body but an absent one who lets the stars get on with it, or basically one fairly nutty rich guy (I'm thinking Alberto Del Rio as a poser for a cuban cigar smoking business man) who's content to sell tickets and let the wrestlers take care of business by themselves. All he would do is pay for damages, pay the cheques, book cards and little else. Thus Fallout would become a Darwinist state of natural selection where the strong survive and take control and the weak fall by the wayside. The only time the authority figure would get involved is if there's some major controversy or if something which disturbs the core nature of the company's anarchic state is being called into question.
Thoughts?

I'm having fun improving on Mainer's ideas >.> DAMN YOU! I thought of that the minute he said cuban cigars and I'd love to...but I don't have the time, I'm still fedding in two feds, biweekly, but two feds none the less. BUT I'd love to help with making the NPCs, I have a shit load of ideas for jobbers.

I was under the impression that this was going to be a total reboot. I feel that the ACW story has been told, and revisiting it will only tie us, the writers, down with unnecessary baggage. That said, there were some things I like about your plan, Danny, but I strongly wish that we don't emulate another "ROH" type e-fed. We sincerely do NOT need another small time promotion held in small arenas and gyms.
More advice: we need someone to take charge of this project, and though I can help out now, I cannot do so full time. If we lack this type of person, trust me, this is all going to turn into talk and nothing will ever come out of it. Talking is good, but we need action ASAP.
Though I am ready to participate, a breaker for me will be how the contenders and champions are handled. I am not going to revisit another system where the champ dictates his schedule. It can, and has most definitely been abused. Who ever ends up running this show needs to assure that those who are working their ass off writing good stuff get rewarded and not told "oh, you gotta wait six months." That's ass.
Finally, we all have to understand that there is a good chance that nobody is going to join this e-fed. It was extremely unlikely to get people into ACW's show system when e-fedding was bigger, so I can't imagine the chance now. We all have to be clear that this attempt is going to be small scale, mainly to suit the needs of those who want to partake from this internet circle. In the end the final product just might be six guys contributing, but as long as we show enthusiasm for what is being written, numbers should not dampen our spirits.
EDITS: Also for my "Action" advice, we are going to need solid dates SET to tell people when their characters need to be up, when the first show will be booked, promo deadlines, etc. Dates are VERY good to keep things moving.

Most people seem keen to do a Fallout reboot in the idea that it's primarily driven off of NPC's and other such nonsense and isn't on the global scale of ACW, but that all the characters and faces would change around with only a few strands carrying on through from the good ol' days, as well as the Fallout name itsself. Also, I wasn't trying to promote the idea of another boring indy-fed. When I was describing it, I was trying to give off the idea of a TNA sized fed which is big, occasionally moves cities but is predominantly located in one area but has a TV deal. More advice: we need someone to take charge of this project, and though I can help out now, I cannot do so full time. If we lack this type of person, trust me, this is all going to turn into talk and nothing will ever come out of it. Talking is good, but we need action ASAP. Already volunteered to do so. If we can get Senator back here as well that would be sweet. If I were to be running this, the champion would have no say in who he faces. It'd be the decision of administrators. It'd be angled based on who is appropriate at the time and as well as who is working well. Exactly. If the people who so far have shown interest can chip in even a half-assed segment every two weeks, we can have something enjoyable to read. EDITS: Also for my "Action" advice, we are going to need solid dates SET to tell people when their characters need to be up, when the first show will be booked, promo deadlines, etc. Dates are VERY good to keep things moving. We need to start getting things operational within the next two weeks if this is going to go anywhere. I vote we get profiles for characters in by the end of the week then aim to have our first show a week on Friday. We need people who would be willing to write matches, at say 300 word summaries (if that) and segments to start going in the show.

I'll probably have a profile ready for the start of next week. Got a few ideas swimming around.
I'd also love for there to be some kind of ACW parody jobber (a-la Gillberg) buried at the bottom of the card as a nod to our past. Something like Blunderkiss etc.
