Mainer, don't you get it? It's nothing personal. Every generation sucks. TK is the one person in this world who doesn't. That's at least what I'M getting from this <_< I completely disagree. Yes, there are bad times in life but you of ALL people should know that it's possible to live a happy life. Unless you're a drug addict or dead life can be very fulfilling if you make the right decisions. The idea that every generation sucks is retarded because there's pro's and cons to every society and civilization.

Going back to the initial issue here, I think it'd be much less egregious if they'd offer new features optionally for a higher fee, instead of locking everyone into it when they might not care about Netflix and ESPN on their 360. That said, I'm just fine with my PS3 and PSN:) PSN actually does things right, by offering their premium online for a fee, but not forcing anyone who wants to play online to buy into it.

Yet again like TK you're only considering one type of people. Student loans barely cover anything, my less fortunate friends who don't have any help from their families get their student loan in and all it covers is their basic rent. They then not only have to work hard in their jobs to earn enough to have some form of social life, but simply be able to put food on the table to eat. This is of course on top of very demanding degrees - come deadline week you will ALWAYS have all 6 modules/units having assignments outstanding and will undoubtedly will be up most of the hours of the day trying to get a good grade. A job on top of that? Hardly easy. I'd like to see call these people lazy, TK

TK's actually right. You're looking at things from a political sense Mainer where as this entire argument has been from an economic sense at which point youth are the most targeted. They work for their own money which they spend on consumer goods because they don't have to pay a mortgage, utilities, and food because their parents do. Instead of saving for school, they can take out student loans which will do it. Student Loans are just that, LOANS so you can pay the money back eventually because there aren't many families out there that you can lump three years of university fees in a single cheque onto without completely bankrupting them. Besides as Taylor said student loans don't go very far. Yes there are people out there that can afford to sponge off their parents but then so long as the money is getting paid who cares who's paying it? If you take out a student loan and your parents pay it, so what? The money is coming back in to necessary boards. If it was all paid for by the government then some people would be pissed but your argument kinda' falls flat because there's not many places with university paid for by the government.

You need to stop listening to the wacko's on Bible Belt conservative talk-shows. Good monkey, they have trained you well. Evolution has to occur in order to keep ahead of the latest of humanities problems. If you truly think we are evolving as a species that is truly lol worthy.

Good monkey, they have trained you well. Says the indoctrinated, born and bred wholesome family man Christian Ken from Nebraska. If you truly think we are evolving as a species that is truly lol worthy. In the last twenty years alone the advancements we have made in technology, in healthcare and in quality of life are absolutely staggering. What's lolworthy is that you're saying our lives are no better than they were in the stone ages. You're so pathetic sometimes Kiss it's unbelievable.

I'm a part of today's youth. I guess that makes me a part of the problem. Nevermind the fact that I and the people I associate with are capable of thinking critically and controversially, nevermind the fact that my sole purpose in life right now is to better myself, nevermind the fact that I never really get new junk unless it's a special occasion, no: I'm a materialistic, lazy punk.
