Just FYI since it seems to have come up here: Lee does change his rhetoric very often, but it does serve a purpose. He often speaks with what I guess you could call "ebonics" for the majority of his present-day interactions with members of the ACW roster. This is to highlight that aspect of his character. But for flashbacks and other more "serious" types of stories, I tone that part of his character down so as to maintain a properly somber feel. I just feel like that kind of speech would get in the way of the story too much. So yeah, now you know, and knowing is half the battle. Is this about what I've said to Steele in private or is there another conversation about ebonics that I'm missing here? This conversation was about Lee's switch between ebonics to regular speech in his segments. Not my frequent use of ebonics in segments.
