How dare you! >: ( Who dares talk bad about the band which contains the awesomeness of Cheryl Cole >: ( I'm weird when it comes to music. I wont listen to stuff based on genre, but rather on if I like a song or not. My iPod is full of everything from Foo Fighters, Muse, Girls Aloud, Classical stuff, game music, movie themes, rap, jazz. You name it, I've probably got one on my iPod

You're a disgrace to the male demographic of Britain.

It's good that you are so open minded about music. A lot of people shut themselves off from certain genres or bands just because of the stigma attached to them. Still, Girls Aloud. Yeesh. I've been getting into a band called (hed) PE. Not sure if anyone's heard of them, they describe themselves as G-Punk which is a fusion of Punk Rock and Hip-Hop. They're quite political so The Senator might appreciate them.

-I think "Rock" is boring for the most part. I can appreciate it, but I don't like it, and outside listening to it on the radio or playing it in Rock Band, it's eh for the most part. Bands like AC/DC make me cringe for the most part. All it is, is generic "white" music that they can listen to and think they're badass. It's stupid.
-I listen to noise and experimental music. Things like Lightning Bolt, Boredoms, Arab on Radar, and even Sonic Youth.
-I listen to jazz, and similarly, Ben Folds Five is my favorite band. Coltrane is playing as I type this post.
-I listen to hip-hop most, and I think Cam'Ron is the greatest MC to ever live. He's just fooling all of you.
Wsup.

I love rock and even I can't stand AC/DC and other bands who sound like that.

The same can be said about black kids listening to really shitty rap, thinking that they're badass. You have to differentiate the blanket term "rock" for people who listen to hip hop. There's a difference between heavy metal which is pretty dark, and hard rock/rock which usually isn't about sacrificing animals or bleeding all over the place. Just like "rap" needs to be differentiated. I hate it when people say that gangsta rap is the only type of hip hop. Overall people really need to stop being so close minded about music.

Does anybody listen to radio anymore? I have a big boombox stereo that I use. I used to listen to music that I downloaded on iTunes but I got so tired of choosing my own music, there was no variety. So I started using the stereo and nowadays I primarily listen to WZLX (a classic rock station, I actually think it was the first ever classic rock station in America)
But when I want to listen to hip hop I have to use internet radio stations (so the music is uncensored) on the computer or I turn on Backspin on my TV with SiriusXM (which I have with my DirecTV)

I only listen to one local radio station anymore. It's a rock station of course, that covers all generations.

TOO MANY DICKS ON THE DANCE FLOOR! Does anybody listen to radio anymore? I do in the morning because of the talk shows and the like. Here, they are hilarious and it's a good way to start the day. However, I NEVER listen to it in the afternoon because its always the same generic radio *Insert genre*

We have a station around here that plays all the classic hits from the 70's 80's and 90's. This station never fails to makes me smile. Genre? Everything. Ive heard the station go from AC/DC to Spice Girls to Hootie and the Blowfish to Snoop to Brad Paisley to Black Sabbath. It never gets boring.
