Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the third issue of The Impact Meter written as always by the ever-faithful Danny Mainer. As is the per usual, I bring you the top 10 superstars ordered and summarized by me with proof-reading by whoever is on MSN at the time. Tonight, we see some major structural changes to The Top 5 and we see a couple of people lose their places entirely. The Impact Meter is a sensitive device and is ever-changing. So, without further adieu, so starteth the Impact Meter.
Goodnight Flight
XS3 – A show of inactivity and not doing a whole lot, he joined forces with Road Steelers to create RSX3 but being on the edge of being thrown off the Impact Meter anyways, the hustle and bustle of Impact Meter City threw him out of the bar and onto his ass. Maybe if he picks up a win in his next match we’ll see a return of the master of the 24th letter but until then, goodnight XS3.
In Line of Sight
Bryce – The cocky youngster is debuting on Thursday and if he can beat legendary competitor Kudo Yasuda he will fly right onto the meter. A feat that’s easier said then done though, Bryce will be very very VERY lucky to win and even luckier to leave unscathed.
Danny Mainer – The Six-String Shogun looks like he’s finally getting back on track this week and although he lost to Scott Andrews in a big match he made the rookie mistake of taunting while in his finisher position allowing Scott to hit a bridging pin. Maybe next week if he can beat Silencio it’ll throw him onto The Meter.
The Debasers – Albeit, getting your ass beaten single-handedly by Senator won’t get you on The Impact Meter but picking up wins in tag matches will which is what they did with Jake Cheng against The New Upper Echelon. Even by DQ, a win is still a win and though they’re not in a match for Thursday, it’s never too late to have a big win to pull you right up onto the meter.
Silencio – This week, Silencio assaulted Danny Mainer’s elite bodyguard ANTHRAX before stealing his phone and locking him in a dumpster with a big padlock. Next week he’s facing off against another man in The Line of Sight, Danny Mainer. If Silencio scores the victory it’ll put him on the list for definite.[/center]
The Impact Meter
Number 10: G-Unit
Last Week: 8.

Last Week: 8.
Movement: -2.
This week, our resident crazy team move down a notch after suffering a DQ loss to OCW members Jake Cheng, Henry McKaye and A.C Evans. Putting up a valiant effort, the loss hurts to those that won the match even if it was nothing to do with them. Jake Cheng was the cause of this DQ loss after being attacked by a masked man with a kendo stick and so Gooey and Jonny move down. However, next week the daffy duo take on Jake Steele & Thunder Train in a Tables Match for a Title Shot which will send them hurtling back up.
Number 9: Kudo Yasuda
Last Week: N/R

Exploding onto the Impact Meter with a trademark Yakuza Knee is none other then Mr. KO, Kudo Yasuda. Dropping two men this week with his famed arsenal of flying kicks, Kudo Yasuda makes his Impact Meter debut at Number 9. After fending off 2 highly reputable competitors he now looks to “canonize” Bryce into the ACW roster by beating him senselessly. If Kudo picks up the win on Thursday, he’ll definitely move up a place and if not, well, it might be a short stay at the Impact Meter Hotel.
Number 8: Jay Zero

Scoring in at Number 8 is ACW’s Perfect 10, Jay Zero. After taking a heavy drop last week on The Impact Meter he regains a place after taking an open challenge from anyone on the roster that turned out to be none other then ACW’s Resident Punching-Bag, Gary. Still, a win nonetheless for Mr. Zero pushes him up a spot on The Impact Meter. Jay, who has gone completely crazy lusting for the fans praise will definitely be earning our phrase if he can pull more wins out of his hat.
Number 7: The Road Steelers
Last Week: 6 (Steele) + 5 (Thunder Train)
Movement: -1/-2
Last Week: 6 (Steele) + 5 (Thunder Train)
Movement: -1/-2
The Dynamic Duo move down a place not through any fault of their own but because of the wins that others picked up. They were not able to pick up a decisive win through no fault of their own and it hurts us to move these down. The Impact Meter states that and the way to make impacts as to change things, win, break stuff, get your name in the news. They didn’t do it this week but next week, if these two can beat G-Unit they’ll have a Number 1. Contenders shot which will not only shoot up morale but also their status on The Impact Meter.
Number 6: Mr. Red
Last Week: N/R
Movement: +4
Last Week: N/R
Movement: +4
Making the highest ever debut from Off the List to On the List is Mr. Red. This man is headed straight for the top as he head one Helluva ride last Monday by swapping titles with BK London in a bag picking accident at the ACW airport. Then, Stephan Russo coerced him into a match where if Mr. Red won against the World Champ, he’d get a title match next show and by God that was exactly what he did. A narrow victory and arguably his biggest victory date shoots Mr. Red from a bargain bin brawler to Maine Event Fighter. If Mr. Red wins again, it’ll be two of the biggest Impact Meter jumps in history.
Number 5: BK London
Last Week: 1.
Movement: -4
Last Week: 1.
Movement: -4
Counter-point to Mr. Red’s huge leap up the Impact Meter ladder, BK London crashes down like thunder. The lowest recorded place on the list for a world champion, BK London suffers a massive loss this week as now he faces the threat of being hoofed of his title and hoofed off of The Impact Meter. They say success is how high you bounce when you hit rock bottom. Well BK London’s success maybe short-lived if Mr. Red has his way, however if BK London does manage to retain his title it’s a huge boost to BK London’s faltering esteem and control of situations with his constant rage taking over him. Will BK be losing the title to the Entertainment Champion or will he retain and redeem the strength of the OCW in the eyes of the fans?
Number 4: “Senator” Steve Philips
Last Week: 7.
Movement: +3.
Last Week: 7.
Movement: +3.
The Senator is moving up and this is clear, indisputable evidence that he may be the one man who has OCW’s number. The Senator, after suffering a brutal assault last week got his revenge by playing his theme music. Top Draw sprinted up the ramp to go and greet the incoming politician but they’d been duped as Steve came through the crowds dropping A.C. Evans to the mat with a Washington Lariat and Henry McKaye meeting a similar fate but with The Liberalizer. Senator then went after Russo but Top Draw came back and Steve got the Hell out of dodge. Arguably one of the biggest threats to OCW, Steve Phillips is a name to look out for in the coming weeks.
Number 3: Jake Cheng
Last Week: 3.
Movement: N/A.
Last Week: 3.
Movement: N/A.
The Asian Extraordinaire moves nowhere because although he got a victory (which solidifies his spot at 3), he won it by DQ after being attacked by a masked man in his match with The New Upper Echelon. Some speculate that this was ultimately caused by Jake Steele, the biggest threat to his International Title reign but it is not proven. This week, Jake Cheng faces off against the man who one-upped him in this week’s Impact Meter, Dan White which of course will put him ahead if he can pick up the win but if not it’s either a move down or he’ll stay persistent. Only time will tell what truly happens.
Number 2: Dan White
Last Week: 4.
Movement: +2.
Last Week: 4.
Movement: +2.
Dan White, although his match ended in a new contest moves up with the revelation of becoming the ACW World Champion to counteract BK London being the OCW World Champion. Also aiding his push is the fall made by BK London losing to Mr. Red. However, Dan next week faces off against OCW International Champion Jake Cheng in a non-title match which the winner will no doubt be pushed to the Top of the Impact Meter. Who that will be though will be determined this Thursday on Meltdown.
Number 1: Scott Andrews
Last Week: 2.
Movement: +1.
Last Week: 2.
Movement: +1.
Scott Andrews tops this list for the second time making him the first one to have a repeat victory. How did he achieve this feat? By defeating Danny Mainer for the first time. The Six-String Shogun threw his best and made a rookie mistake as he stopped to taunt while preparing his finisher. Scott rolled through into bridging pin and put away Danny making the score between them 2-1 to Mainer. Although arguably the victory can be attributed to Danny still being ripped apart by the semi-permanent loss of his International Title, a win is still a win and Mr. Andrews is top of the charts for another week. Where it can go from this is anyone’s guess but one thing is for sure, Scott is also a key-player in the delicate power balance between ACW and OCW.
And so concludes another Impact Meter reading. I hope you enjoyed it, tune back Friday for the next show’s lists. Will BK London still be on the list? Will Scott Andrews still be top of the list? Will Dan White or Jake Cheng take the top spot or will Mr. Red victoriously triumph over the roster making the quickest off the list to top of the list debut in Impact Meter history? Find out next week. Thanks for reading.
Peace & Love,
Danny Mainer
