Match 3: ACW Fallen Heroes Rumble Match (Credit: Latino, Zero, Jefferson, Michael, Dan, BK, AK, Hunter) Fallen Heroes has already delivered more than many competing promotions manage in an entire PPV year… and with one of ACW’s own yearly highlights about to begin, the Tokyo crowd is well and truly stoked. Philip enters the ring; the cameras record him for the international audience, while a local translator repeats his words for the home fans.Phillip: Ladies and Gentlemen, our next match is the Fallen Heroes over-the-top 30 Man Battle Royal! The match will start with two competitors and two minutes after that a new participant will be called down. This will continue until all 30 competitors have been called out! The winner of this match will be the last person still standing in the ring and he or she will receive a World Title shot at Omega Effect III! Phillip: Introducing the first participant in the Fallen Heroes Battle Royal…….Jay Zero! Jay Zero walks through the curtains with arms raised up high as the fans let out a loud amount of boos. “Simple Man” by Hardcore Superstar plays as he quickly makes a move down to the ring and then jumps up onto the ring apron. He steps inside the ring as Jay gets ready for the long match ahead of him.Phillip: And the second participant in tonight’s match ………Jack….Jefferson! The Next Episode by Dr. Dre blasts through the speakers as Jefferson comes out to a moderate responders. He looks left to right and the runs down to the ring. He slides underneath the ropes and is on his feet within the blink of an eye. It’s clear that is he more than ready for this match as he waits for the bell to ring and officially begin the momentous match. The Bell Rings. Jack and Zero quickly lock up in the middle of the ring as the 2 minute timer begins to countdown. The two men are eagerly fighting for some early control in what everyone knows will be a match to remember. A few seconds pass by and finally Zero takes control. He grabs Jefferson by the arm and whips his current opponent straight across the ring. Jefferson bounces off and is nearly taken down by a strong clothesline. He ducks the advance and quickly grabs Zero by the back of the head. Jack drops down with a quick neckbreaker that echoes throughout the arena. Maxwell McNally: And we’re underway folks, this is going to be a long and wild ride! ”Fast” Eddie Edison: Absolutely right, Max, and it looks as if Zero and Jefferson are setting the bar high for everyone else to follow. Jefferson then pushes Zero over on his stomach and then runs towards the ropes. He bounces off and then comes down against Zero’s head with a harsh knee. He then grabs an arm and pulls Zero back up onto his feet. Zero leans back bit as Jefferson throws a strong punch. The attack lands perfectly as Jefferson pulls back and throws it again. This time Zero ducks and grabs Jack by the waist. He lifts him up and then brings Jay slams him down with an inverted Atomic Drop. Jefferson goes down to one knee just as the bell sounds off for the third participant…. *KLAXON* Phillip: Ladies and Gentlemen, the third participant is…………….Gary! Gary comes out to a surprisingly large pop and doesn’t waste a moment. He runs down quickly slapping hands with the fans and then quickly slides underneath the ring ropes. Zero is more than ready for this as he pounces on Gary like a pitbull on a steak. He starts throwing constant lefts and rights onto his new opponent and then grabs him by the hair roughly as he knees him in the gut once…..twice….and then a third time. Gary falls down to one knee and Zero stands tall as he looks around the arena. He turns around only to be welcomed by a running dropkick to the face by Jefferson. Zero stumbles back and trips against Gary as he nearly goes over the top rope, but luckily his hand keeps a firm grasp of the ropes. He gives a kick to Jefferson and then quickly makes a move back inside the ring. Gary comes up behind him and grabs an arm. Jefferson comes at Zero as he is distracted and jabs an elbow right to the head. He then grabs Zero and gives him a DDT that nearly engraves his head right into the mat. Gary goes to the rope and comes back with an elbow drop right across the chest of Zero. He stands up seconds later and lets out a yell to the crowd. He turns around just as Jefferson kicks him in the gut and then delivers to him a Delayed Vertical Suplex. Just as he slams Gary back down to reality the buzzer sounds off as the next entrant is announced. Phillip: Ladies and Gentlemen, the next participant is…….Jay Basin!! Basin comes out to a thunderous amount of boos as he charges down to the ring. He walks up the steel steps and quickly enters the ring. He dodges a punch from Jefferson and then retaliates with a punch of his own. He throws another and then another that sends Jack back a step with each impact. Zero now comes at Basin but he uses his full energy to block the clothesline and pushes him back against the ring ropes. He first moves to attack him but then notices Gary getting up. He moves towards him and starts to attack. The camera shifts back Zero as he is fighting off Jefferson once again. The two men are now caught in a battle of punches as Zero lands a strong hit. Jefferson absorbs the blow and then throws one of his own. The two continue to battle as Gary surprisingly is fighting off Basin well. He ducks a punch and takes Basin down with a kick and facebuster from the corner of the ring. Gary then charges at the two men fighting away on the other side of the ring, but Basin is back on his feet. He dropkicks Gary and knocks him down against the mat. Jay quickly grabs Gary by the head and swings an elbow across the face of his opponent. He then feels a kick to the face as Jefferson lands it on him. Zero then comes behind Jefferson and pulls out a German Suplex just as the buzzer is sent off again.

Phillip: Ladies and Gentlemen, the next participant is……Vortex!!!
Vortex runs down fast as his theme plays throughout the arena. He slides inside the ring and is on his feet in seconds. He charges at Zero and takes him down quickly with a roundhouse kick to the face. The two men tumble against the mat as Gary slowly stands back up. He waits for Vortex to get up and then comes at him with a spear. Vortex jumps to the side and then slams an elbow across Gary’s back. Jefferson now comes at Vortex as he spins him around and then lifts him up for a Military Suplex. He holds him high and then slams him down against the ring mat to a thunderous impact. Vortex then moves towards Basin as he grabs him by the arm and starts slamming an elbow once...and then a second time across the arm. Basin fights back as he throws a few punches with his free arm until Vortex backs off. Across the ring Jefferson, Gary, and Zero are in a trio of a fight as they each are fighting for some dominance. The ring is now starting to look like jumble mess of bodies as the next entrant of the rumble is announced….
*KLAXON*
Phillip: Ladies and Gentlemen, the sixth entrant of the rumble is………..Kudo!!!!
Kudo comes out to a thunderous applause and cheer. He raises an arm and yells out a few words in Chinese. He then runs down to the ring and slides under the ropes. Kudo quickly gets to his feet and quickly targets on Jefferson. He pulls him from the trio and then starts throwing lefts and rights lightning fast. He nails him with a quick and then gives Gary a kick just as he tries for an attack. Zero then comes at him and Kudo goes for this time a knife-edge chop. Zero blocks the attack and counters it with a headbutt right to the face. He does once more and then gives Vortex a strong jab to the face and then chest. Zero then continues his rampage as he knees Kudo in the gut and then throw him right into Vortex taking both men down onto the mat. Zero then notices Jefferson standing up and he quickly makes a move. He starts hitting him with a jab one time and then a second time. He then backs him against the ring ropes as he slams a series of headbutts over and over. Jack finally goes down to the ring mat just as the buzzer goes off again.
*KLAXON*
Phillip: Ladies and Gentlemen, the next entrant is…….Rena!!
Rena comes out to a pop as she runs down to the ring with her theme in the background. She jumps on the ring apron and then slides inside the ring. She dodges a punch from Zero and then knees him between the legs that quickly put an end to his rampage. She then runs at Basin that is getting back up and gives him a swinging DDT deep into the mat. As she sits up, Vortex and Jefferson both give her a dropkick right to the face. She falls back against the mat and Vortex then comes at her with a front flipping legdrop. As he rolls back, Jefferson comes off the ropes and drops down on her with an elbow drop across the neck. Gary then slams into Vortex with a shoulderblock but the man is unmoved from the attack. He starts throwing punches back at Gary and finally lifts him and brings him down with a bodyslam just as the buzzer sounds again…
*KLAXON*
Phillip: The next entrant is……..Nick Durden!!
Nick comes out fast as his theme plays. He jumps on the apron and then looks back towards the fans just before he steps inside the ring. He quickly starts throwing lefts and rights as the attackers come at him. He kicks Vortex in the face and then goes for a suplex but Jefferson gives him a clothesline that knocks him back a few steps. Across the ring Basin is fight off against Rena as the two are not giving up. Just by them Gary is taking on Kudo as he throws a few rights and lefts. He then goes for a DDT, but Kudo doesn’t let the move go. He elbows him a couple times and then reverses the move into a backbody drop. Gary falls down with a huge impact as the camera cuts back to Rena and Basin. Basin whips her into the ring and Rena jumps up as he follows her. She lands behind Basin and then elbows him into the back of the head just as the next entrant is announced.
*KLAXON*
Phillip: Ladies and Gentlemen, the ninth entrant is….Renix Williams!!!
Renix comes out as the fans let out a mixed response. She runs down and slides inside the ring. Renix quickly gets in on the action as she grabs Gary and gives him a stiff punch to the face. She gives him another and another until Kudo joins her. The two start taking turns on punches until Kudo grabs Gary and lifts him up in a suplex position. He drops him back down forward and Renix drops down a knee to the back of Gary’s head. The camera now cuts to Nick and Vortex as they are fighting in the corner. Nick ducks and grabs Vortex around the waist. He lifts him up and then gives him a snake eyes right across the top turnbuckle. The camera cuts back to Kudo and Renix as they stand up Gary and start giving him chop after chop. With each hit he nearly goes over the top rope. Kudo goes for another but Jay Basin comes behind up and gives him a German Suplex. He rolls out from under and then takes down Renix with a strong punch and kick. Gary takes a step forward, but Basin grabs him and quickly throws him over the top rope until he slams hard into the outside mats.
*KLAXON*

Basin takes some time to taunt arrogantly to the dejected Gary. Renix and Nick take this opportunity to ambush him from behind. They pound on him for a little while, but Basin doesn’t cave in so easy and eventually breaks out to shove Renix away from him, sending her flying away. Nick continues to rain punches down on him, but Basin decks him with a punch to the ribs that invariably forces the wind straight out of his lungs. Basin then pounces on a wounded Nick with a booming lariat! Renix comes charging back to Basin once more, but he greets her in most rude fashion with a big boot that catches her square in the jaw. In the center of the ring, Zero is trying to take VorteX over in a German suplex, but VorteX has centered his gravity, effectively weighing himself down. However, Kudo comes soaring off the top rope to flip over both Zero and VorteX. Kudo lands underneath Zero and rolls him up into a sunset flip, giving him the necessary momentum to hurl VorteX over in a German suplex! Zero rolls back onto his feet while Kudo is still in seated position and buries a dropkick straight into his face. Jefferson has Rena backed up against the ropes and is attempting to flip her over the top and to the outside, but Rena has her arms hooked tenaciously around the top rope to block his attempt. The counter soon reaches zero, signaling the arrival of another warrior into the fracas.
*KLAXON*
“Happy” by Mudvayne plays as Marcus Curtis emerges from the entryway.
Phillip: Introducing entrant number ten...MARCUS CURTIS!
He makes a deliberate march toward the ring, giving himself these last moments to adequately prepare himself for the battle ahead.
Not surprisingly, Curtis targets Jefferson and clubs him across the back from behind, forcing him to abandon his effort to eliminate Rena. Curtis backs Jefferson into the corner and drills him with some punches to the abdomen, but Jefferson explodes out of nowhere to turn the tables and place Curtis against the ropes. Jefferson then proceeds to launch a lightning fast series of open handed slaps across Curtis’ chest. Basin drags Nick over to the corner and seats him against the turnbuckle before raining stomps down upon him. Renix runs at him and hops onto his back, wrapping her arms around his neck into a sleeper hold while locking legs around his waist. She lacks the adequate mass to weigh him down, though, and Basin merely pulls her forward by the hair and flips her over and back down to the mat. However, Nick has shaken out the cobwebs by now and grounds Basin with a chop block, locking in an ankle lock soon afterward. Zero has Kudo backed up against the corner and is now choking him, but VorteX comes back with a vengeance to deck him across the back of the head. VorteX pulls Zero slightly away from the corner and plants him with a snap suplex. Rena has pounced on the wounded Renix and backed her up against the corner. Rena then goes Stacy Keibler on Renix by planting the sole of her foot against Renix’s throat, shoving her chin back in an attempt to turn her into a Pez dispenser. Nick throws Basin into the corner and seats him onto the top turnbuckle before attempting to shove him over and to the outside, but Basin keeps his arms hooked around the top rope to block the attempt. It isn’t too long before the counter reads zero once more, giving the green light to yet another fighter.
*KLAXON*
“Descending” by Lamb of God roars throughout the arena, signaling the arrival of Starkweather.
Phillip: Introducing entrant number eleven...STARKWEATHER!
As soon as Stark slides into the ring, he’s met by Kudo, who by now has adequately recovered from his beating at the hands of Zero. The two begin by trading punches, though once both realize this won’t be enough to apprehend the other, they switch to their trademark stiff kicks. The sound of the impact of boot on skin snaps crisply through the air. The two strike each other with the same ferocity that has made them famous, but neither one seems to even so much as cringe. Nick has abandoned his effort to eliminate Basin by overpowering him and instead has grounded him with a snapmare. Nick then climbs to the top rope, but VorteX immediately takes hold of him, eventually tossing him off the top rope so that he goes crashing into Stark and Kudo, effectively putting an end to their sparring session. Zero is then caught by a headscissors takeover from out of nowhere, courtesy of VorteX. After beating down Renix with some fury strikes, Rena whips Renix across the ring to the opposite corner, but Renix hops onto the second turnbuckle and flips backward to come crashing down on top of Rena with a Devious Drop! Jefferson shifts his attention away from the battered Curtis and now onto Nick. Jefferson backs him up against the ropes and tries to toss him over, but Nick hooks his arms steadfastly around the top rope to block this attempt. Renix ambushes Jefferson from behind, forcing him to abandon his effort. Renix then whips Jefferson back toward Nick, who immediately pulls the top rope down, causing Jefferson to tumble over and to the outside.
Phillip: Ladies and gentlemen, Jack Jefferson has been eliminated!
Nick and Renix offer each other the briefest of congratulations, but their celebration is ended abruptly as VorteX comes charging in to deck both of them with a double dropkick. Everyone is so focused on what they are doing that they don’t see Zero exiting the ring under the ropes; he retrieves something from underneath the ring, and re-enters with a sneaky smirk.
Maxwell McNally: Ok, what’s Zero up to here?
The answer is straightforward; Zero has armed himself with a can of hairspray, and if you’ve ever been unfortunate enough to have a careless stylist, you’ll know how much that stuff can sting. Zero hurtles around the ring, spraying everyone and causing chaos until he’s left alone in the middle of a lot of sore-eyed, coughing wrestlers; he uses the last of the spray to touch up his own style before throwing the empty can into the crowd.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: You’ve got to admit it, Max, things are never dull with Zero around…
*KLAXON*
The buzzer resounds yet again, inducting another competitor into the battle.
“Red’s Fan” by Freekbass begins to play as Mr. Red, wielding the signature autographed Ken Griffey Jr. baseball bat, emerges from the entrance and moves to enter the action.
Phillip: Introducing entrant number twelve...MISTER RED!

Red goes for Zero as everyone else is still rubbing the hairspray from their eyes. Zero goes for a clothesline, but Red ducks and drills the butt of the bat into Zero’s gut. Having served its purpose, Red tosses it out of the ring and whips Zero into the corner. He forces Zero down into seated position with some stomps, but before he can continue his assault, Stark has recovered and blindsights him. Stark pulls him away from the corner and plants him in a SchweinDT. Stark then moves to pounce on the wounded Zero, but Zero is not quite as worn down as Stark would have believed and proceeds to drill a thumb into Stark’s eye. Zero then immediately goes on the offensive by throwing Stark into the corner and slugging him a few times. Meanwhile, Rena and Renix have overpowered Kudo as they stomp on him as he lays near the ropes. Marcus lifts Red to his feet and whips him into the corner. Curtis charges at Red, hoping to land a clothesline, but Red moves out of the way, leaving Curtis to eat turnbuckle padding. Red spins Curtis around so that he is facing the center of the ring and then mounts the second rope to rain punches down on top of Curtis’ head. The center of the ring is occupied by Nick and VorteX. Nick slaps VorteX around with a few roundhouse kicks, but VorteX gets lucky enough to eventually catch Nick’s attacking leg and twist it around in a dragon screw! Basin appears to still be regaining his vision as he sulks in the corner.
Back on the other side of the ring, Marcus pushes the well known Mr. Red into a corner and begins to lay several forearm shots on him. Marcus climbs up to the second rope and the crowd starts counting with him as he starts hitting closed fists shots. Over in another part of the ring, Basin is seen lying under the ropes, catching his breath, perhaps. We turn the action over to Kuda Yasuda, exchanging blows with Rena and Renix, trying to fend the two off. The two girls try and team together and go for a double clothesine to bring him down, but he ducks under.
The young, stupid Zero begins to stalk Starkweather and in the background, Kudo is seen nailing Rena with a hard roundhouse kick, then grabs Renix by the hair and headbutts her hard. Starkweather looks at Nick and Vortex fighting back and forth, testing the strength of one another. Back in the corner, Red has pushes Marcus off of him and pulls him back into the corner, turning the tables and connecting with some strikes of his own. Nick begins to gets the upper hand and pulls Vortex into a Northern Lights Suplex. Kudo leans back on the ropes, catching his breath. Trying to catch Starkweather off guard, Zero whose been stalking him for a bit runs forward and dropkicks the back of Stark’s knee, collapsing him to the ground.
McNally: There is so much action going on in the ring, I can’t keep up with it all! Kudo just took Rena out with a beautiful roundhouse, then a headbutt to Renix!
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Nick Durden getting the upperhand on Vortex, now Zero shocking everybody and trying to take out Starkweather! What can he be thinking?!? Curtis, pushes Red backwards, but Red comes right back at him with a flying body splash. Curtis ducks under and Red is caught on the top rope! Marcus tries to capitalize and get the elimination, but Red is holding on strong. The chancy Zero is now helping Stark to his feet and lands a few jabs on him to the side of the jaw. He goes for a third, but Stark ducks under and pushes Zero back, making him fall and roll over. Stark runs at the standing Zero and hits a huge knee lift, sending him back down to the mat.
Kudo finally thinks he’s caught his breath a bit and pulls Rena up. He grabs her by the hair and nails a DDT on her, shaking the ring. Red is still fighting for his life over in the corner, kicking at Curtis. Nick Durden has already picked Vortex up, and nails him with a Burning Lariat, landing Vortex on his neck. Suddenly though, the arena lights start to dim.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: What the?!?
Maxwell McNally: What’s going on?! The lights have just gone out and the crowd is going nuts! What’s going on in the ring!?

Suddenly, beats of a drum can be heard on the PA before a certain guitar chord hits, leading to I Am Iron Man It’s finally recognized as Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man” and as the lights begin to come back on, Santiago Rivera is seen at the top of the entrance way! The crowd goes wild as all action in the ring has stopped. Vortex, Zero, Rena, and Basin are all on the ground at the time, yet they all manage to look up at the rampway. Santiago is getting a standing ovation as he starts down the rampway, getting glared at by all of the competitors, mostly by Starkweather, the man Santi was never able to defeat.
*KLAXON*
Phillip: Ladies and gentlemen, he is The Lucky 13th entrant, Santiago Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriveeeeeraaaaaa!
Santiago keeps walking strong and the music starts to fade. Basin is starting to get up, along with Vortex. Santiago slides into the ring and everyone backs off, besides Stark.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: It’s him! It’s….It’s!
Maxwell McNally: The Ironman! Santiago is BACK!
There is a staredown between Santiago and Stark, before a confident Marcus charges at Santi. Santi turns and lays a viscous palm strike (The Iron Palm) into the jaw of Curtis, sending him down hard. Vortex tries and gets laid out with the same maneuver. Santiago charges Red who’s backed into the corner, and nails the Iron Palm on him as well, sending his legs up into the air, but then crashes down, sitting in the corner. Nick sees Rivera with his back turned to him and runs at him, clubbing him in the back. Santi stumbles forward and turns around, ducking a clothesline.
Durden turns back around right into an Iron Palm. Santi turns and stops himself from hitting Stark. He starts to smile at the motionless, emotionless Starkweather. Kudo keeps his distance, and plans his attack.
Jay Basin is now on his feet, but in an attempt to avoid Santiago, he tries to stay as far back as possible. Santiago sees Zero getting up and charges at the young competitor. Zero rolls under the attack and Santiago stumbles into the ropes from his momentum. He turns around just as Zero leaps to his feet and connects with a high angle dropkick, sending Santiago back, over the top rope! The referees all run over and assists an irate Santiago as Philip takes his role.
Phillip: Ladies and Gentlemen…….Santiago Rivera, has Just Been ELIMINATED!
Santiago gets up and holds in head in disbelief, not thinking of the several victims he’s just laid out, but the one man who’s just eliminated him. Jay Zero is going nuts in the ring while the crowd boos. Santiago seems to shake it off, but he catches a comment from Zero that happened to be “That’s right, go back where you came from ya has-been!” This seems to set Santiago off as he turns back and glares at him.
Kudo doesn’t waste any more time as he charges forward, knocking Starkweather off his feet from a chop block. Zero looks at Red in the corner and looks to be going for one of his unorthodox moves. He charges forward and nails him straight in the face with his heavy duty cup with a move he calls the Bronco Blaster. Basin grabs Zero by the hair and yanks him up. He whips him into the ropes, but before he can rebound, from outside the ring, Santiago sweeps Zero’s feet, sending him face first into the mat. Santiago pulls Zero out of the ring and the referees all yell he’s not eliminated. Santiago lays a few right hands on the cocky Zero before slamming his face right into the steel post.
Stark gets up and ducks under a roundhouse attempt by Kudo, and hits a very stiff kick to him. Kudo stumbles back in pain as Marcus, just getting up mixes with Renix and begin to fight it out in the corner. Kudo falls victim to a tilt a whirl backbreaker now. Outside the ring, Santiago is seen pulling whipping Zero upwards onto the ramp. Zero starts crawling, trying to escape, but Santiago grabs him by the hair and starts to yank him to the backstage area. Basin walks over and starts to stomp the fallen Kudo.

The cameras linger on Santi dragging Zero to the nether regions of hell, er, I mean, backstage, for just a second longer before returning to the in-ring action. Starkweather’s adrenaline seems to be surging at a breakneck pace as he begins clearing house. First in his crosshairs is VorteX, who gets floored by a step-up enzuigiri. Stark gets to his feet just in time to see Rena charging toward him and subsequently responds by launching a booming roundhouse kick that catches her right in the face. Next up is Nick who tries for a roundhouse kick, but Stark ducks. While Nick is still facing away from him, Stark lifts him high into the air and drills him into the mat with a belly to back suplex. The final casualty is Red. He runs for Stark, but he’s immediately caught in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Kudo has Basin backed up against the corner and is pummeling him with some roundhouse kicks to the ribs. Curtis has Renix seated on the top turnbuckle as he tries to shove her over and to the outside, but she hooks her arms around the top rope to ensure her safety. It isn’t too long before the counter reaches the magical number of zero once more.
*KLAXON*
“Blind” by Silverchair roars over the PA as Rattlesnake arrogantly marches into the ring.
Phillip: Introducing entrant number fourteen...RATTLESNAKE!
Snake blindsights Kudo and tosses him away from Basin. Kudo is sent flying away like a rag doll and crashes brutally into the mat. Snake then proceeds to pick up Kudo’s scraps by stomping down on Basin. Renix has managed to shake Curtis off by burying the sole of her boot into his face. Curtis staggers away, and Renix backs him up into the ropes with a European uppercut. She then runs toward him, undoubtedly to try for a cactus clothesline, but Curtis bends forward and tosses Renix over the top rope with a back body drop. However, Renix lithely lands on her feet on the apron. When Curtis turns to face her, she drills a shoulder into his gut. She then tries to lift him over the top rope and suplex him to the outside, but sheer brawn has never been her strength, and Curtis manages to maintain his footing. Instead, it is Curtis who lifts Renix up and suplexes her right back into the ring. Stark and Nick are collectively choking Kudo against the corner. Red and Rena are stomping on VorteX near the ropes. Nick and Stark back Kudo against the ropes and whip him into the opposite ropes. When Kudo bounces off, Stark and Nick toss him over in a back body drop. Nick then tries to ambush Stark with a savate kick, but Stark catches his foot and tosses it to the side, spinning Nick around. Once Nick turns to face him again, Stark hurls him over in a double-arm suplex! Rena and Red continue their double team a little while longer before lifting VorteX to his feet and whipping him into the ropes. Vortex bounces off to deck both of them with a double clothesline. Snake pulls Basin away from the corner and scoops him up onto his shoulder, but Basin manages to shimmy out of his grasp and land on his feet behind Snake. Before Snake can turn to face him, Basin shoves him straight into the turnbuckle. As Snake leans against the turnbuckle, Basin charges toward him to squash him with a body splash. The buzz of the counter blares through the arena as a new fighter is about to enter the fray.
*KLAXON*
“Destroy Everything” by Hatebreed roars from the speakers while Scott Andrews explodes onto the scene.
Phillip: Introducing entrant number fifteen...SCOTT ANDREWS!
The crowd is booing the second that Scott shows his face, but the Scarlet Assassin ignores this and makes a beeline for the ring, wasting no time sliding into the ring and digging into the action with a totally focused expression. Stark makes the mistake of being the first to confront him, as all he gets for his trouble is a thunderous knife-edge chop, followed by a brutal release northern lights suplex. Basin recognizes the threat of a raving lunatic like Scott and moves in to engage him, but the results aren’t that different from the last time as Scott doubles Basin over with a toe kick and plants him in a double-arm suplex. Rena is pulling herself to her feet as he tries to recover, but Scott allows her no such respite as he runs to the ropes and decks her with a lariat that sends her into a full revolution straight through the air! Scott bellows savagely as he slaps his fist across his chest, but this showboating only leaves him open to a joint ambush from Renix and VorteX. Snake has adequately recovered from his beating at the hands of Basin and focuses his attention on Nick. Snake places the sole of his boot straight on his throat and steps down, stopping up his airway. Renix and Vortex whip Scott into the ropes. When he bounces off, they bend forward, hoping to catch him in a back body drop, but Scott slows his momentum just enough to launch toe kicks into their respective faces. Scott first floors VorteX with a knife-edge chop, then drops Renix with a dropkick. Snake whips Nick into the corner, but Nick sticks his hands up to prevent a collision with the turnbuckle. As Snake runs toward him, Nick hops up so that he’s suspended horizontally in the air, allowing himself to catch Snake’s head in between his legs. Snake tosses Nick to the side and over the top rope. Nick lands on the apron and decks Snake with an elbow strike. As Snake stumbles back, Nick springboards and leaps off to squash Snake with a seated senton! The counter has reached zero again, beckoning another wrestler to the ring.
*KLAXON*
To everyone’s amazement, “This Fire Burns” by Killswitch Engage blares from the speakers, and it is none other than XS3 who makes his triumphant return to the ACW ring.
Phillip: Introducing entrant number sixteen...XS3!
You can tell XS3 is just raring to get back into action as he charges to the ring and wastes no time in sliding in. When Stark turns to face his direction, XS3 immediately lands the Shadow Step! However, XS3’s triumphant return is cut short as he’s ambushed by Basin and Curtis from behind. They drag him over to the corner and stomp him into submission. Red mounts the top rope and leaps off with a crossbody attempt at Snake, but Snake refuses to go down and instead just holds him up in midair. When VorteX gets to his feet, Snake swings Red around so that his feet slam straight into VorteX’s face. Snake then lifts Red high into the air in a military press. When Rena gets to her feet, Snake tosses Red right on top of her! Snake scoops Kudo up onto his shoulder and makes his way over to the corner, dropping him in a snake eyes on top of the top turnbuckle afterward. VorteX claws his way over to the ropes and pulls himself up, but as he’s trying to catch his breath, he’s helpless to block a Head Shot from Scott that knocks him clear over the top rope!
Phillip: Ladies and gentlemen, VorteX has just been eliminated!
As Scott is haughtily laughing at the wounded VorteX, Snake clubs him across the back with a double axe handle. Snake then lifts the dazed Scott up into a fireman’s carry to set up for the Snakebite, but Rena and Kudo run up to him from behind and clip his legs out from under him with a chop block to each knee! Nick and Renix get to their feet. Nick flips forward to land a somersault senton across Snake’s sternum while Renix simultaneously hits a fist drop into Snake’s face. No sooner does this happen than the counter reach zero once more.
*KLAXON*
“Kingdom Come” by Jay-Z roars to life as BK London, his trusty shillelagh in hand, is revealed to be the next entrant.

When BK enters, Basin and Curtis turn their attention away from XS3 and onto the two-time world champ. However, BK is more than ready to greet them in most rude fashion with furious shillelagh shots. He first slaps Basin across the knee, then plants a shot into Curtis’ sternum. When Stark tries for an attack, he just gets cracked over the head. Rena isn’t spared either as she gets the wind knocked out of her by a stabbing blow. Red has recovered and manages to take BK by surprise. Red beats BK down to his knees and swipes away the shillelagh, drilling him in the back of the head with it afterward. Red then tosses the shillelagh away, and it lands in the corner. Kudo joins Red in the assault by continuing to stomp on BK. They lift him up for a double suplex, but instead of flipping over, BK drops back down to his feet and drills both of them down into a double DDT! BK rises to his feet just as Snake is shaking out the cobwebs. BK climbs to the top rope. However, Nick drills Snake with a dropkick from behind, causing him to collide with BK, knocking him down so that he crashes crotch-first onto the top rope. Renix pulls Snake away from the corner and whips him into the opposite corner. Nick and Renix then climbs up to the top rope to stand on either side of BK. They then both flip backward to drill BK into the mat with the So Long and Goodnight! Scott charges toward Snake and begins to pound on him with some fury strikes. Time has run out for us yet again, and it’s time to induct another soul into the mayhem.

“Burn In My Light” by Mercy Drive blares as “Mayor” Quimby appears on the scene.
Phillip: Introducing entrant number eighteen...“MAYOR” QUIMBY!
Quimby marches to the ring, just as intent as ever. He pounces on Curtis, who is still attempting to recuperate from the shillelagh shot he took. Quimby traps Curtis in a three-quarter facelock and to set up for the RKO, but Curtis shoves him into the ropes. When Quimby bounces off, he is met with a dropkick from Curtis! Curtis then climbs to the top rope, but is immediately ambushed by a dropkick from Red that sends him tumbling to the outside!
Phillip: Ladies and gentlemen, Marcus Curtis has been eliminated!
Curtis is absolutely furious at what he perceives to be a cheap shot from Red. He viciously pounds his fist into the ground and bellows obscenities left and right. Red arrogantly taunts him from inside the ring. XS3 lifts Stark into vertical suplex position to set up for the Final Fate, but Stark wriggles out of his grasp to land on his feet behind XS3. Stark takes him up into a wheelbarrow and falls backward to plant him in a Frontal Lobotomy! Ever the opportunist, Scott moves away from Snake and pounces of Quimby, still ailing from that Curtis dropkick. Kudo and Basin approach each other gingerly, neither one willing to move so hastily as to expose a weakness at this late stage of the match. BK moves to pick on Snake, but Snake low blows him and slugs him with his jab combo. Renix and Rena are exchanging knife-edge chops near the ropes. Nick is just hoping to catch his breath as his near lifeless body hangs near the ropes.
With twelve still remaining in the ring, the action is still as fast-paced as ever. Red however leers over the ropes, taunting Curtis, who is still to get to his feet after his elimination. Scott and Quimby battle it out in one corner, whilst BK and RS battle Basin in the opposite. Scott attempts an Irish Whip on Quimby and BK and RS do the same to Basin. But instead of a mid-ring collision, Quimby and Basin latch onto each other’s arms, swing around and fly into their respective opponents! As this happens, Starkweather manages to seek an advantage over XS3, flipping him onto his back. Red still mocks Curtis, and this allows Starkweather to move forwards, and almost in a disinterested manner, toss Red to the outside to a cheering crowd!
Phillip: Red has been eliminated!
Red falls near Curtis, and this causes a brawl between the two to form. They exchange blows on the outside of the ring, Red managing to duck a shot and plant Curtis with a kick to the side of the head. Curtis quickly recovers, managing to whip Red towards the steel steps. But Red manages to jump over them, turning and leaping onto Curtis as the ringside officials all charge round to break it up. The fight distracts a few of the members inside the ring, most notably Jay Basin. Still incensed at being knocked off his feet by him before, BK climbs to his feet and grabs Basin from behind, tossing him over the top rope!
Phillip: Jay Basin has been eliminate- what? Hang on a second…
...However unfortunately for BK, with the ringside officials still dealing with the Red/Curtis fight, Basin quickly dusts himself off, re-entering the ring! BK has since turned his back to Basin, and is surprised to say the least at being knocked in the back of the head. Kudo and Durden meanwhile have a brief standoff, with Kudo aiming a sharp kick to the back of the leg. Durden jumps back and darts forward, taking Kudo down with a Lou Thesz Press. He jumps off, looking hyped as anything, and walks straight into the Shades of Michaels! Durden flies to the ground, seemingly knocked out as Renix and Rena battle it out far side of the ring. Both wanting to prove to be the strongest female, they exchange blows and fists, with Rena gaining an advantage by catching the leg of an attempted kick. She tries to hook the leg over the ropes, but Renix grabs Rena’s hair and tosses her to the floor.
Meanwhile XS3 has gotten back to his feet, and returns to stalking Starkweather, who is beating down Quimby in the corner. The attack takes Starkweather by surprise, and XS3 beats down on his head, forcing him to retreat in the corner as Scott Andrews comes to help. BK and Basin are still exchanging blows, and neither man looking like they’re going to defeat their rival just yet. Kudo meanwhile continues to rest in the corner, as Quimby tries to go after “easier” prey in Renix and Rena. However after he shoves Renix off Rena, the two just take a mere glance at him before both delivering a powerful side shifting kick to the stomach! Quimby flies back and falls on his arm, as the counter comes back on our screen.

Phillip: The next entrant is… Gooeygarth!
Clutch – Mob Goes Wild hits and there’s a pop for the Wyldcard member as he walks through the curtain, ready for action. He darts down the ramp and slides into the ring, immediately going after BK London.
There’s a huge pop as Gooey fires quick jabs into BK’s skull, still wanting revenge for the past two months or so. He throws BK into a corner and headbutts him into the shoulder, which causes BK to wince in pain. Gooey then lifts him out and onto his shoulders in a Fireman’s Carry, and the fans go mental as Gooey attempts to eliminate BK. He lifts BK over the ropes, but BK keeps one foot on the ropes and manages to throw a couple of punches towards Gooey, which causes Gooey to drop BK, and BK slides back into the ring. Starkweather meanwhile has managed to beat off XS3 with a thunderous lariat, and is currently battling old foe Scott Andrews, which has taken centre stage. Starkweather is thrown at the ropes, and Scott attempts a leg lariat which is ducked. He turns around, and manages to avoid the boot flying in his face to reverse it into a Dragon Screw! And there’s another cheer as Starkweather falls to the ground, as Scott is taken from behind by Basin.
Kudo has decided to pick on Rena, and tries to lift her over the ropes. But Rena is proving to be a tougher opponent than Kudo assumed, and she prods him in the eye to gain a quick escape. Rattlesnake meanwhile, who has been biding his time over the past couple of minutes springs to life with a clothesline on Renix. The force nearly kocks her out and as a result Rattlesnake is jeered for this. He turns around and Durden attempts a beat down, but he earns a swift Powerbomb for his trouble. Rattlesnake is beginning to go on a roll, but he turns around to see Quimby lash him with a knife edge chop. Quimby follows with a second, then a third, but Rattlesnake retaliates with a quick jab to the face. Quimby is stunned, and Rattlesnake plants him with a huge Spinebuster as the counter sparks back on.

”Hello” by Oasis hits the PA system and the fans go nuts as Dan White walks out, despite having promised not to make an appearance tonight. And oddly enough he’s wearing a suit, his trademark shades, and holding a microphone in hand.
Dan: Now now, folks, I know I promised that I wouldn’t make an appearance tonight, but I just heard something that I simply haaaaaad to mention to you.
The action in the ring is almost paused as Dan continues.
Dan: With the current tour, Gingerdude has informed moi that he won’t be able to make it to most dates. So as of now, you are listening to Dan “the Welsh Dragon” White, the new Commissioner of Alpha Championship Wrestling!
There’s another pop as Dan makes the announcement, before turning to head to the back. But before he does, he quickly turns around again.
Dan: Oh and the next entrant is El something-or-other. Goodnight!
Phillip: Hey, that’s my job! Flaming Commissioners…
And indeed, “Green Hornet” hits and the 20th entrant for the battle royale is El Froggy Mask, who gets a very mixed reaction from the crowd.
Froggy quickly goes into the ring, and is immediately ambushed by Kudo and Basin. They throw him to his feet and whip him at the ropes, but Froggy comes flying with a couple of lariats, knocking the two sideways. He looks full of action as he lifts up Quimby and attempts to eliminate him. Meanwhile, Rattlesnake is still on a bit of a roll as he knocks Rena to the floor with a Headbutt. He then engages in a three-way battle with Starkweather and Andrews. Andrews sides with Rattlesnake with both of them being in the same stable, and they force Starkweather into the ropes on the near side. They manage to hook one leg over the ropes, and things look increasingly grim for Starkweather. Things look worse as Andrews manages to grab the other leg, but he’s saved by the clumsiness of XS3, who falls backwards from a punch off Durden, falling into the two Senatorial Stable members.
BK has been waiting in the corner for a couple of minutes now, but suddenly darts out to take Rena down with a surprising diamond cutter variation. BK looks pretty smug with his quick-thinking, but he’s too slow for Kudo, who turns BK around and with an almighty leap sends BK crashing to the floor with an enziguri. Quimby and Gooey are battling it out, and both men look eager to make it far in the match and look to be heading to Omega Effect, especially with it being in Gooey’s home nation. Durden meanwhile takes offensive against Froggy, forcing him at the ropes. He attempts an Irish whip, but amidst all the bodies it’s impossible to see who goes where, and Durden, being distracted, is hit with a Sunset Flip. Scott has abandoned his fight with Starkweather, instead going for Basin, as Starkweather and Kudo come to a confrontation as the countdown hits again.

Phillip: Now approaching the ring…. Thunderkiss!
”Paradise City” hits and there’s a huge pop for the Entertainment champion, who walks out the curtain. He has a huge smile on his face as he prepares to enter his first ever Fallen Heroes Battle Royale.
TK looks like he’s brimming with attitude as he walks up the steps and enters the ring. The first person to confront him is Froggy, and TK sends him to the ground with one simple punch. Quimby is next to follow, and is knocked sideways by another thunderous right hook. Rena and Renix both try their trade on TK, but he isn’t dazed for a moment, and they both hit the mat having received a lariat for their troubles. TK is making a good job of clearing the ring, and he further proves his authority by hitting a side slam on Basin, followed by Starkweather. TK then turns around, where BK London lunges in for the Shades of Michaels. However TK is too quick, grabbing the foot and lifting BK into the Heaven’s Door! BK crashes to the mat worse than an out of control Skoda, and having cleared 7 members of the ring to the mat, TK feels the need to stand in the centre of the ring, and pose like an almighty god.
He’s brought back down to earth by Rattlesnake, and the two engage in a fist war. But there’s another pop from elsewhere, and the cameras turn to see a bloodied, bruised but still high-spirited Jay Zero stumbling back to the ring! Clearly having lost Santiago, he rolls into the ring to make 15 members of the match in the ring, half the members already. Gooey is the first person to meet Zero, but Zero reacts sharply with a fierce elbow and shrugs him off. Next in line is Quimby, and the two begin to fight near the ropes. Quimby unleashes enough assault to keep the weakened Zero in position. Quimby bounces back off the ropes and catapults forward, attempting to clothesline Zero out. But Zero ducks, slinging Quimby over his shoulder and to the outside! But Quimby manages to hold on to the ropes, and brilliantly skins the cat....only for Zero to match that by hitting the ropes, dashing forwards and leaping in between the top and middle ropes in a Bronco buster-style move, knocking Quimby right back out of the ring!
Phillip: Quimby has been eliminated!
The elimination takes some by surprise, but it’s taken a lot out of Zero, who retreats to an open corner, as the fighting continues. BK and Basin are slugging it out again, and a slip by BK is nearly costly if it weren’t for the slow reactions of Basin, who failed to flip him over in time as the counter appears again.

Phillip: Next to enter the fray… Alicia “Atomic” Kitsune!
”I’m a Bomb” by Natasha Beddingfield hits, and the fans hit the roof as AK makes her first ever appearance in a FH battle royale…
Her demeanor takes everyone by surprise, given everything that’s happened earlier on the night. She’s looking more relaxed than most as she walks down the ramp, and enters the ring.
AK attracts little attention as most are occupied with other people, but XS3 is the first to pick on her. They engage in a little scuffle, but it’s broken up when BK London unleashes the Shillelagh, wrapping it around AK’s neck. There’s a large amount of boos as AK struggles to breathe, but with more stamina, she manages to elbow BK in the ribs and break free. But the Shillelagh goes flying in the air, smashing Thunderkiss in the face and knocking him down. The ring practically stops, nobody wanting to be the guy that TK unleashes his revenge on. Nick accidentally catches it, before realising his mistake.
Nick: Oh shit!
And immediately the rumble turns into a hot potato game…
Nick: Here Scott!
Scott: I don’t want it! Renix, have it!
Renix: Ugh what?? Basin, it’s yours!
Basin: Ahh! Uhh…. Big guy, here you go!
XS3: Hold it! No way man Gooey take it!
Gooey collects it just as TK manages to see what’s happening.
Gooey: ....Cock.
But Gooey, quick-thinkingly tosses it to BK, who freezes with everyone else looking the other way. So BK shrugs his shoulders, and tosses it straight into TK’s arms.
Thunderkiss: Uhh....erm...what....what the fuck is this?!
Thunderkiss stands fully up, Shillelagh in hand. He scans the ring for any potential candidates before smirking, and breaking it in two with his mighty arms. He tosses it to the outside, which sends the crowd wild, and the match continues. BK and AK begin slugging it out, and it looks to be the fight of the moment. Elsewhere though XS3 and Basin are fighting close to them, as Renix attempts to finish off Zero.
Basin hits XS3 with a jaw-shattering punch which sends him stumbling, clutching onto the top rope for support. Attempting to seize the opportunity, Basin grips a handful of XS3’s hair and thrusts his head over the top rope whilst grabbing his tights and attempting to lift him over the ropes and to the floor; XS3 resists with a strong elbow to the temple of Basin before attempting to reverse the situation but to no avail. BK is in the corner opposite where Basin and XS3 are duking it out, he seems slightly dazed and is sent crashing to the mat as AK hurtles across the ring to hit a Running Dropkick. Seemingly amused, Rena smiles inwardly as she looks on as BK rises to his feet before driving a knee into AK’s midriff and taking her over with a Snap Suplex. Thunderkiss and Starkweather are duking it out somewhere near a free turnbuckle with Thunderkiss attempting to choke Starkweather with the top rope while he resists. Nick Durden and Gooey are brawling until Scott hits Nick in the back with a Dropkick which sends him tumbling to the mat. Scott smiles slightly but it is short-lived as Gooey charges towards him and knocks him down to the mat with a Clothesline. Outside the ring Rattlesnake looks on, shaking his head in amusement at Scott’s lapse in attention before looking shocked as Renix hits a Moonsault on an exhausted Zero. In the centre of the ring, Kudo is punishing Froggy with a series of stiff kicks which he concludes with a Roundhouse Kick to his head.

Phillip: Entrant number 23…BRIMSTONE!!

Post by Alicia "Atomic" Kitsune on Apr 28, 2007 15:40:20 GMT -5
After Philip speaks his name, there is a brief pause before the Alphatron flashes on, along with the presence of a slow and brooding guitar riff. Clearly this is NOT Slayer's "Angel of Death," as one would expect it to be. Although the wrestlers in the arena can hear this odd new music, they do not pay attention to it too much, and instead they intelligently continue their fighting. After the guitar riff repeats four times, some low, moderately growled vocals come in, and not many people can argue with the statement "these lyrics are very appropriate for Brimstone."
I am hatred, seeping blood, The rain, the flood, the grief. I am rage becoming flesh, A dismal, ravaged life.
Shortly after these lyrics, Brimstone enters onto the stage, his pyro still going off as it usually does, although somewhat different so as to appropriately fit the slower beat of the song. The lights are also somewhat darker now, as more observant fans notice.
This is pain, a wall of tears, And my tears are my truest friends. This, my heart, a dying sun, A flower fading to black.
By this time, Brimstone is already halfway down the ramp, and through the identification of the announcers and some fans in attendance, this new theme is identified as "Ground" by Celtic Frost, albeit a slightly edited version, likely edited because of time constraints. Brimstone stands at the edge of the ramp quietly and observes the carnage as the final lyric for this version of the song sounds through.
Oh God... Why have you forsaken me?
As the song fades out Brimstone slides into the fray and is immediately set upon by Thunderkiss, who drops a leg across Brimstone’s back before he even has the opportunity to rise. Instantaneously certain people break away from their various interests to attack the fresh Brimstone and also to attack TK before he can get to his feet. Most notably, AK is able to connect with a vicious kick to the back of TK’s head and Renix attempts to take over Brimstone with a German Suplex, which he blocks with numerous elbow shots to her head before coming off the ropes to connect with a Running Lariat. Meanwhile, in the centre of the ring, Zero creeps up on BK London and attempts to lock in the Blinded Faith; fortunately for BK, Zero is too fatigued to fully synch in the hold and he is able to escape with a number of well-placed elbows. As Zero stumbles slightly BK moves marginally away from him before drilling him with a Shades of Michaels which sends him tumbling through the second and top ropes. BK looks disappointed as Zero thuds into the floor and various referees swarm around him. In the meantime, Rattlesnake gets back in the ring and hits Rena with a clubbing blow from behind followed by numerous stomps to her lower back. Brimstone and TK have stumbled each other amongst the mayhem and are proceeding to tear strips off each other. Meanwhile, Zero has found his feet and he manages to roll into the ring; unfortunately for him BK is given time to wind up before connecting with a second Shades of Michaels. This time the kick if right on the button and Zero is sending tumbling over the top rope and to the floor.
Phillip:Ladies and gentlemen, Jay Zero has been eliminated!!
Zero is dazed as the team of referees help him to his feet and the crowd rise to their feet to show their appreciation for his efforts. He pushes the referees away from him so he can stand on his own two feet before walking up the ramp.
Back in the ring, BK attacks Scott Andrews from behind. Andrew turns and hits BK with a Backhand Chop, however the sound is slightly muted in comparison to what it could have been if he was at 100%. Kudo weighs in with a kick that takes Andrews’ legs from beneath him before he leaps to hit a twisting knee strike to the side of BK’s head. As he lands XS3 steams in and connects with a Running Forearm to the back of his head.

Phillip: Entrant number 24…JASON FREEMAN!!
"Ugly" by The Exies hits and as the slow intro of the song begins, the lights dim, and Freeman walks out slowly, and stays near the top of the ramp. When the chorus hits the lights turn on and flash brightly as a bit of fire pyro goes off. He walks slow, and poses a bit as he walks down the ramp before sliding in.
Freeman hones in on TK, who is still brawling with Brimstone, and hits him in the back of the head with a perfectly-placed Dropkick. Freeman then fires a series of forearms in the face of Brimstone only to be caught off guard by Thunderkiss who hits him with a hard shot in the back of his head before whipping him into the nearest corner. That corner happens to contain the fracas between Rena and Rattlesnake who practically have to dive out of the way to avoid being hit by the missile that Jason Freeman has become. Thunderkiss follows him, hitting a Running Clothesline which sends Freeman slumping to the mat. Brimstone charges in and hits Thunderkiss from behind which sends him tumbling to the mat, almost landing on Freeman, who manages to narrowly avoid the collision. As Freeman rises Brimstone hauls TK to his feet and the two take TK over with a Double Suplex before pulling him up and dragging him towards the ropes. They somehow manage to get TK over the top rope, however, is he able to hold on and stabilize himself on the apron where he manages to hit both Brimstone and Freeman with right hands which send them reeling. Thunderkiss steps confidently through the ropes and powers Freeman down with a Side Slam before heaving him to his feet and pressing him against the ropes. Brimstone joins in, applying extra pressure to Freeman who struggles against them. Scott Andrews quickly intervenes to help his stable mate and prevent him from being eliminated.

Phillip: Entrant number 25…“Astonishing” ADRIAN FLAAAAAMINGO!!

Post by Alicia "Atomic" Kitsune on Apr 28, 2007 15:42:06 GMT -5
There is a huge crowd reaction for the returning Flamingo as “Stayin’ Alive” by The Fugees hits and the flamboyant one struts through the curtain. Pink lights flash momentarily as he swaggers down the ramp and slides into the ring. He goes after AK with a Scoop Slam followed by a Bionic Elbow. Renix and Nick intervene and, using Adrian’s hair, Renix drags him to his feet and then Nick connects with an Enziguri which rocks him so that he drops to a knee. Renix completes the manoeuvre with a Shining Wizard. Meanwhile, Rattlesnake, Freeman and Scott Andrews work together to fight Froggy who previously attacked Snake. Snake lifts Froggy up in a Bearhug whilst Freeman and Andrews nod at each other before climbing adjacent turnbuckles and coming off to hit simultaneous Flying Crossbodies to an ear-bursting pop.
As the Senatorialites soak up the adulation of the crowd, Brimstone manages to sneak in and pick up the stunned Froggy, whipping him into the corner and setting him up on the turnbuckle. Brimstone then proceeds to hop from the middle rope onto the top then runs across the rope and nails an Enziguri, completing the Blade Runner and sending Froggy tumbling to the outside.
Phillip: Ladies and gentlemen, El Froggy Mask has been eliminated!!
”Fast” Eddie Edison: I'd say it's getting pretty crowded in that ring, wouldn't you say McNally?
Maxwell McNally: No doubt about it, and participant number 26 is about to make their way down to the ring, I wonder who it could be.
THREE . . TWO . . ONE
*KLAXON*
Phillip: The next entrant… Ricky Falco!
"Animal" by Mudmen sounds throughout the speakers and the ACW newcomer, Ricky Falco begins to make his way to the stage to a mild reaction from the crowd. Without wasting any time, he sprints down to the ring and slides in, hoping to get in some of this action in the ring. He gets into the ring, and it appears he doesn't know what to do, with everyone already paired off he might as well just rest a bit before engaging in any action. But Brimstone manages to knock Scott Andrews his way, and finally, he gets in some of the action. A few kicks to the gut of the Scarlet Assassin before attempting to get him over the top rope - but Scott manages to grab onto the top rope as if it were a life preserver. Falco continues to get Scott Andrews over while on the other side of the ring, the other member of the Senatorial Stable looks like he is about to be eliminated with the combined forces of Brimstone, BK, and Jay Basin.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Look at that! Three men and they STILL cannot eliminate the big behemoth Rattlesnake, or Cobra, or whatever he's going by these days!
Maxwell McNally: Rattlesnake lasted pretty long last year, even with him being a newcomer, and you've got to believe that this year he plans to go all the way.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Look! Look! I think Starkweather's going out! I think he's going out!
Kudo has Starkweather over the top rope with feet in the air, he's looking to do what he has been wanting to do since they met in the ring, but Starkweather finds himself on the apron and slithering back under the bottom rope into the ring. Kudo continues to work on Starkweather while just inches away from him, Freeman and Renix are engaging in a stiff brawl with Renix blasting the International Champion with vicious kicks to the sternum. Renix grabs Freeman's head as he is hunched over, and he quickly picks her up and attempts to dump her over the top rope but she holds on for her life. She pushes herself away from the ropes, but Freeman is pushing back in the opposite direction, attempting to throw her over. But Freeman's plan does not come to fruition as he is battered with several forearms to his upper back.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Freeman almost had Renix right there, no doubt!
Maxwell McNally: I really thought she was going to go over, but look at the vicious battle going on in the center of the ring between the unlikely duo of Thunderkiss and Rena versus XS3 and Alicia Kitsune. Thunderkiss and Rena have both of them down and out for the count.
And that is indeed the case, Thunderkiss and Rena manage to have overpowered the duo enough to keep them down on the mat - but now they have to get them up to throw them over. With over half the entire Battle Royale in the ring, this is definitely going to be a tough thing to do. Basin manages to attack Thunderkiss from behind, hoping to catch him offguard, and he does. Thunderkiss turns around and Basin picks up the Entertainment Champion with ease over his shoulder and heads for the ropes. He nearly halfway on his journey to the ropes when he sees Rena in his way. The seductive vixen begins to slip down one of the straps on her top, and then another, and like the crowd - Jay Basin jaw drops down to the ground. She looks as if she is going to expose the goods, but Thunderkiss grabs Basin by the back of his tights and his shoulders before sending him over the top rope. Basin lands hard, but the tag team tandem of Thunderkiss and Rena use any offensive strike they can to get the big man over. Basin tilts over and Thunderkiss delivers a huge boot to the head. Basin lands hard on the outside and looks back up in the ring as Rena waves at him before high fiving Thunderkiss.
Phillip: Jay Basin has been eliminated”
Basin slaps the ground in frustration, and begins to make his way up the ramp to the back, but not before watching as the next entrance is made.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Here comes number 27, who will it be? We've seen everyone who's anyone, and they're all in that ring.

"Eden" by To Destination sounds through the speakers, and a familiar image comes over the titantron.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAT?!
Maxwell McNally: No...No...it can't be!
Abruptly, the music cuts off. There is some consternation around the ring area.
”Fast” Eddie Edison (whispering): Max, what’s going on? My schedule says it’s FSX due on next….
A piece of paper is passed rapidly to McNally from the left; Max scans it and sighs.
Maxwell McNally(whispering): There’s been a last minute change of plan, the top brass have made another spectacular hash up. Just once I’d like to get through one of these without on-the-fly editing by the chimp with the typewriter…
A surprised-looking Julio Rivera is thrust through the curtains; Philip shrugs.
Phillip: Eh? Oh, not again… Er… the next entrant is Julio Rivera!
Jay Basin looks up and he sees Julio making his way onto the stage, and walking right past him down the ramp. Jay Basin is even a bit taken back, before making his way up the stage to the back. Julio slides under the bottom rope into the ring and Rena comes at him, but he takes her down with a right hand. Thunderkiss tries his fate, but Julio delivers a spinning wheel kick right to his head to lay him out right by his 'partner'. Ricky Falco looks to make his name known by taking out the last-minute substitution, but as he goes for a clothesline Julio ducks it. He turns around and Julio hoists him up and drives him into the mat with a powerslam. Alicia and XS3 manage to get up around the same time, even after suffering an assault to the hands of Rena and Thunderkiss and Julio looks for a superkick. XS3 side steps it and Alicia gets a face full of boot before being knocked down. Julio turns around and XS3 nearly turns him inside out with a Shadow Step.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: MOMENTUM - GONE!
Maxwell McNally: What a Shadow Step! FS- I mean, Julio didn't see that one coming at all!
XS3 picks his head up shortly after his finishing maneuver and looks down at the drastically changed Julio. He turns around, but receives a huge boot in the face by the big man Rattlesnake. XS3 staggers around a bit and turns around right into a Roundhouse Kick but Scott Andrews which finally drops him down to the ground. Nick Durden is launched into the pair by Adrian Flamingo, and Flamingo lets out a hearty laugh before searching for another victim in the match. He sees Renix and Freeman still attempting to throw one another over the top rope, and decides to make his wrath known on an unsuspecting BK. He attacks BK from behind with a forearm to his lower back before delivering several knees to his chest. The Flamboyant One drops the former ACW Champion with a bionic elbow to the head, and now Brimstone slides back in the ring after being double crossed by BK. The pair of Flamingo and Brimstone now begin to stomp out BK in the corner rather aggressively, and now Brimstone drives his boot into the throat of the Grand Slam Champion. Brimstone releases the hold and now Adrian gets his opportunity to dish out pain with several kicks to his face. Flamingo sets up BK in a vertical position in the corner before telling Brimstone to follow up with a rather impactful manuever. Brimstone backs up and charges at BK full force, but is leveled with a clothesline by Flamingo.
Maxwell McNally: Double crossed AGAIN! This time by the Astonishing Adrian Flamingo.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: And what a clothesline at that McNally! I told you, I'd never trust a man in pink and purple boas, never!
BK drops down to the mat and begins to crawl away from the scene as Brimstone is punished by Flamingo, meanwhile Gooey continues to stay elusive in this match. As if no one knew he was even there, how a man of Gooey's stature is missed remains to be seen but he's doing a great job. Kudo switches his attention from Starkweather to the big Rattlesnake in the ring, delivering some huge kicks to his hamstrings. Ricky Falco joins in on the action, helping Kudo chop the big man down, and now the two deliver a double dropkick - sending Rattlesnake into the ropes. Both men grab a leg of Rattlesnake, and they look to be dumping him over the top rope but Freeman and Scott Andrews catch them from behind before the biggest Senatorial Stable member can be thrown over. The beatdown occurs on the two and before you know it, it's time for number 28.

Phillip: Approaching the ring… Jonny Spade!
"Animal I Have Become" airs throughout the arena and Jonny Spade makes his way to the stage to a good pop from the crowd. The ACW veteran is well known for his tenure with Gooey Garth and you can believe that the pair is going to light up the ring. Jonny runs down to the ring before sliding in and meets up with his Wyldcard partner Gooey Garth. They simply nod to one another and the terror begins, well for the other competitors. Freeman turns around and he is taken out with a double clothesline by Wyldcard, while Rattlesnake recieves a Double Flapjack. Scott sees them cleaning house and climbs to the top rope, a very dangerous place in this type of match, but instead of being thrown over he drops groin first when Wyldcard tosses BK right to his corner of the ring. Scott Andrews holds his 'nads in pain as he sits on the top turnbuckle as Wyldcard finishes delivering a Double Suplex to Starkweather. Nick Durden looks to take the pair on by himself, but they are just too much for him and Jonny hoists him up on his shoulders. Gooey climbs up to the top rope and they complete the Goodwill Gadget right into the center of the ring, adding Durden to their list of victims. They turn around, and in an unexpected twist, Scott dives off the top rope and manages to take them both down with a Double Heatseeker.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Can you believe it? Every man in the ring is down and out thanks to Wyldcard.
Maxwell McNally: And now Scott Andrews has single handedly taken out the tag team, can you believe that?

Scott Andrews staggers up to his feet, clutching his groin and he turns around right into the EMP by Ms. Kitsune. Alicia is taken back by the impact of her own kick and staggers back into the corner before watching every other wrestler in the ring on their back. About 30 seconds later at least 5/6 of the ring are back on their feet and get right back to their ways. Rena and Thunderkiss now are looking to get the big man Rattlesnake over the top rope, while Julio and Scott Andrews look to battle off the team of Wyldcard. Renix and BK are going at it aggressively in the corner, with BK striking her with some hard haymakers to her jaw before attempting to dump her over the top rope. Renix holds on for her life, grabbing both the middle and top rope and wrapping her arms and legs around it, as if she were some monkey. BK continues to attempt to get her over but he is attacked by Nick Durden, who helps his partner right back in the ring. The pair continue working on the former ACW Champion while in the middle of the ring, Alicia manages to deliver a vertical suplex to Kudo Yasuda, even with the 17 other competitors in the ring.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Look at Rivera! I think Starkweather is about to dump him over, his surprising return could end right here!
Maxwell McNally: He's going over, but here comes number 29 folks, I wonder who it is.
*KLAXON*
Phillip: Approaching the ring, “Textbook” Tim Dwight!
"Textbook" sounds and the 56 year old trainer makes his way down the ramp to a huge pop from the Japanese fans. Tim Dwight slides into the ring and grabs Ricky Falco before lacing him with a thunderous chop across the chest. XS3 gets near him and Tim Dwight delivers a bionic elbow right to his head. Jason Freeman looks to catch him by surprise with a sleeper hold, but Dwight counters and delivers a huge back suplex to the International Champion. Dwight stalks Jason Freeman from behind, admist the rest of the wrestlers in the ring and looks to toss him over, but Freeman lands on the apron. Dwight delivers a chop to the chest of Freeman, and now the Senatorial Stablemate begins to reel. Dwight delivers another chop to his chest, and Freeman releases one arm from the top rope and now he's hanging by a thread. Dwight backs up and looks for a spear off the apron, but Freeman nearly crushes his cranium with a knee to his forehead.
Maxwell McNally: Freeman JUST saved himself from an elimination, lucky guy!
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Definitely, but just look at Dwight, a minute into this match and he's already busted open thanks to the International Champion!
Back on the other side of the ring, Rena manages to grab Flamingo so Thunderkiss can deliver some body shots to him. This pair has defintiely been prominent in the rumble this far, and if they can continue their ways - there is no doubt in anyones mind they can make it to the end. Thunderkiss delivers one final blow to the abdomen of Flamingo, which brings Flamingo down to his knees. Rena picks up the Astonishing one and slaps him repeatedly across the face, insult to injury. Thunderkiss now picks up Flamingo, but quickly Flamingo grabs him and tosses him over the top rope to his surprise. Thunderkiss goes sailing over the top but manages to hold on with his feet swinging right over the floor below.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: DID HE TOUCH?! DID HE TOUCH?!
Maxwell McNally: I don't think so, RAF is watching his feet very carefully.
Thunderkiss uses his impressive leg strength to skin the cat, and now Flamingo pushes Rena into Thunderkiss as he is doing so and without looking to see who it is, Thunderkiss grabs Rena with his legs and tosses her right over. Thunderkiss flips back in the ring and smiles before looking to the outside, with total shock.
Phillip: Rena Matheson has been eliminated!
Rena throws a tantrum on the ground on the outside and attempts to dive back in the ring to claw Thunderkiss' eyes out, but RAF restrains her and helps carry her up the ramp to the back. A mistake on the Entertainment Champion's part, but he has no more time to cry crocodile tears as Adrian Flamingo attacks him from behind.
Three people now have BK London nearly over the top rope, Renix, Durden, and XS3, but the Grand Slam Champion manages to hold on - continuing his pugnacious attitude in this match thus far. They use their feet, arms, whatever to try to pry his arms from the ropes but they cannot break his vicegrip on the ropes. Suddenly, the timer goes off again, and with 10 seconds left, we anticipate the entrance of participant number thirty. Someone who may be able to help BK London in this situation.

”Fast” Eddie Edison: Number thirty folks!
Phillip: And finally, the last man to enter the Rumble… The Trinity, Jake Cheng!

"Hero" by Divine sounds throughout the entire arena and former three time Light Heavyweight Champion makes his way onto the stage with nunchucks in his hand, swinging them in the air. A enormous pop for Jake Cheng as he simply stares at the crowd before sprinting down to the ring Ultimate Warrior style. He slides into the ring and strikes Renix down with a shot from these deadly weapons. Durden comes to her rescue, but he too feels the force of the nunchucks and doubles over in insurmountable pain. XS3 is the only person left still attempting to get BK over and Jake taps him lightly on the shoulder. He turns around and Jake delivers a shot with the nunchucks right between his eyes, bringing him down to the mat in seconds. BK drops onto the apron on the outside and slides under the ring, watching Jake as he gets up.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Jake laying out bodies left and right in this match!
Maxwell McNally: Well when you have a weapon in hand, it's almost second nature!
Jake starts playing the nunchucks a little, flipping them around before accidentally striking himself in the groin. His eyes water up a bit before he drops down to the mat, grabbing his 'nads in pain. BK attends to him in his time of need, just like he attended to him, and before you know it the team Top Draw begin their journey to winning the Fallen Heroes Battle Royale.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: We've finally reached the sixty minute mark in this match, a whole hour of action in this ring, can you believe it?
Maxwell McNally: Nineteen wrestlers in the ring, and one of them will walk away with a first class ticket to the main event of Omega Effect!
With the other 17 superstars battling to throw each over the top rope, Kudo staggers backwards right into Julio Rivera. Slowly Kudo turns around, and now the pair stare off in the ring. These two have no history, but with the opportunity to go to Omega Effect - it could definitely explode in the center of the ring and it does. The pair exchange series of fists, chops, kicks, you name it, but at the end - Kudo picks up Julio on his shoulders and looks to dump him over the top rope but Julio grabs onto the top rope and pushes himself away. A series of knees drive into the cranium of Kudo, and Julio manages to slip off his shoulders and lift Kudo up for a back suplex. Julio edges towards the ropes to dump Kudo over, but Kudo uses his free arm to deliver a set of punches right to the face of his opponent.
Kudo drops off the shoulders of Julio before going over the top rope, and now Kudo deliver several knees to his face. Julio stumbles back into the ropes and Kudo looks to clothesline him over, but Julio side steps it and sends the Light Heavyweight Champion over the top rope - but Kudo lands on the apron, definitely a close call.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Julio and Kudo are really going at it, both want desperately to win this match!
Maxwell McNally: You've got to have that attitude going in this match Edison, or you will be eliminated. It's either go hard, or go home!
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Balls to the wall!
Julio looks to finish off the job, pummeling with several right hands, but it isn't enough to take the champion off the apron. Kudo blocks a right hand, and rakes the eyes of Julio, using any thing necessary to stay in this match. He grabs Julio and sets him up for a suplex, hoisting him high over his head. Kudo has Julio right over his head, and looks to set him down hard on the outside, but Julio shifts the tide and now looks to suplex Kudo back in the ring. Kudo blocks it before punching Julio in the abdomen several times through the ropes, and hoists him back up in the air. Julio is high over his head and Kudo drives his head right into the apron with a brainbuster. Julio's body goes limp and he slips off the apron to the ground below, and his time is over in this match.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: DAAAANNNNGERRROOUUUS!!!
Maxwell McNally: That was possibly the most vicious elimination in this match I've seen by far!
Phillip: Julio Rivera has been eliminated!

The wind has definitely been taken out of Kudo with his exchange with Julio, and he just rolls over into the corner to recover without being seen. Back on the other side, Renix & Nick are now recovering from the nunchucks shot by Jake and Freeman sees them. Freeman stalks them from behind, slowly, and as they both come to a vertical base, Freeman grabs Durden and plants him into the mat with a Glory Driver. Durden, planted right on his head, lays motionless in the ring and now Freeman grabs Renix by her hair with a devilish smile on his face.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: What is he looking to do?
Maxwell McNally: I think he's about to...steal a kiss from Renix? Durden is going to like this at all.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Give him a break McNally, every man needs some now and then.
He puckers out his lips, looking to get a kiss from the beautiful Renix, but she delivers a huge slap across his cheek which sends a surge of cheers throughout the crowd. Freeman doesn't look too happy being rejected by Renix and now slams her headfirst on the mat by her hair. She holds her head in pain and Freeman picks her up one more time, talking trash to her, before setting her up for the Journey's End. He looks to send her over the top rope with the move, but Renix manages to slip off his arms and drops behind him. Freeman turns around and Renix hops up on his shoulders for a Hurricanrana, but Freeman catches her and turns towards the ropes. Durden rises up and attempts to reach her, but Freeman dumps her over the top rope and she lands back first on the ground below..he's too late.
Phillip: Renix Williams has been eliminated!
Maxwell McNally: Dear god...
”Fast” Eddie Edison: That was a DAAAANGEROUS spill from inside the ring, she could be paralyzed.
Durden watches as Renix lays motionless on the outside and Freeman simply laughs it up. Rage...rising! Durden spears down Freeman in the center of the ring and begins wailing on him with rights and lefts to a nice pop from the crowd. Freeman attempts to block up, but the punches are way to powerful for him to attempt to nullify it. Scott Andrews looks to pull Durden off of Freeman but he too feels the wrath of Nick as he plants him in the mat with a DDT.
Freeman attempts to escape but Durden grabs him by his hair and now finds the nearest free turnbuckle before ramming his head into it waay more than 10 times.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: He's like a man possessed McNally!
Maxwell McNally: The way Freeman just manhandled Renix, it has sent him over the edge.
Nick’s attempts to erase Freeman’s face are certainly riveting, but now the crowd’s attention is being drawn to the centre of the ring, where Kudo and Starkweather have drawn close. They exchange glances, and then it’s on with a vengeance; Kudo combines power with a cool focus, and forces Starkweather back toward the ropes, so that Flamingo is granted a moment’s respite from a combined Wyldcard offensive as they are separated. Jonny and Gooey quickly hurry around to resume their offensive; Starkweather, meanwhile, holds his ground and seems to be taking this battle more seriously than any before it. A suggestion of an emotional reaction from the doctor, perhaps?
”Fast” Eddie Edison: You know, I think Starkweather’s actually quite keen on eliminating Kudo, Max.
Maxwell McNally: You could be right, Eddie – Starkweather views very few people as credible threats, so it reflects impressively on Kudo that he’s got the doctor’s attention here.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Heh heh… a “private consultation”, then?
Maxwell McNally: You could put it like that. And it’s bound to be costly…
The rivals tie up, and after a few seconds Kudo gets the best of it and pulls off a DDT. He nips up and stomps at Starkweather before the doctor rises, and whips Kudo into the ropes so that he rebounds into a nasty facebreaker. With Kudo slightly dazed, Stark gets up and stamps on Kudo’s knee; Kudo flips over, looking angry, and gets even more riled when he sees Starkweather apparently retreating back through the melee of other wrestlers. Refusing to let his quarry slip away, Kudo tracks Starkweather, narrowly avoiding a leg lariat from Tim Dwight which was originally intended for BK; he sees Starkweather blindsided by an opportunistic running elbow from Thunderkiss, and rushes forward to try and capitalize. Stark, however, is wily and quick, and deflects Kudo with an armdrag; Kudo is sent rolling into the path of XS3, who is going for a running attack on Adrian Flamingo. XS3 trips and ends up performing a ragged Shadow Step to Nick Durden; Starkweather smirks a little at the various interplays of cause and effect.
But he’s lost sight of Kudo for a second, and Kudo thrills the crowd by signaling the Yakuza Knee. He surges forward, and reads his environment perfectly, stepping up off of a crouched (and surprised) Ricky Falco to nail Starkweather, who slumps against the ropes. Kudo gets close and tries to kick the remaining energy out of Starkweather, but he’s managed to let slip Stark’s very own dogs of war, and Stark unleashes a rapid and disconcerting series of expertly placed blows, finally knocking Kudo down. With his foe distracted, Starkweather underlines his point with the I.I.S; due to everything else going on in the ring, it takes the referees a little time to spot it and order the break. By the time this occurs, the damage has been done; Kudo’s muscles cry for oxygen, and Starkweather gives him no chance to recover, backing up and using a simple but effective Lightning Leg Lariat variation to clobber Kudo as he leans against the ropes. Kudo falls to the outside and can’t quite hold on to save himself from exiting the match.
Philip:Kudo Yasuda has been eliminated!

Kudo is clearly not at all pleased at being eliminated, and he shouts a few words in Japanese which cause the native crowd to blush, cheer, or both. He gets a big ovation from the home fans regardless, and the crowd is fairly sure that Kudo won’t be content simply to leave things like this…
Meanwhile, the match is continuing at a rapid pace. Battles are constantly shifting; AK ducks under a clothesline only to pop up in front of XS3, who gives her a personal demonstration of his powerbomb technique. The crowd cheers; Jason Freeman tries to get in close to XS3 by approaching from behind, but XS3 turns and gives Freeman a “YOOOOUUUU!” point for the heck of it before doing his powerbomb again for those who missed it first time around.
Maxwell McNally: I don’t care how many times I see it, a well-performed powerbomb always brings a smile to my face.
As Freeman is picking himself up, things are getting heated between Rattlesnake and Brimstone. The two men slug it out with straight-up punches, until Rattlesnake gets an opening and is able to slip in a single arm DDT. Brimstone rolls aside before Snake can deliver his follow-up, and counters Snake’s next attack into an armdrag-to-armbar. This, bizarrely, leads to a massive pop and several banners bearing the word “ARMBAR!!!” and similar showing up in the background.
Ignoring the local quirks, Rattlesnake writhes and escapes Brimstone’s hold; he is equally adept at striking with either hand, and so is not greatly hampered as he gives Brimstone some payback. Brimstone reels, and Snake smirks; trying to buy himself a little recovery time, Brimstone tries to whip Rattlesnake away, but Rattlesnake reverses this, and sends Brimstone hurtling across the ring. Other competitors have to take evasive action; but one person doesn’t see the human missile coming – XS3 has Gooeygarth against the ropes, and is going for the knockout blow. He swings, Gooey ducks, and XS3 revolves to be met by Brimstone, who takes the opportunity which presents itself and hits XS3 with a running clothesline, tipping him up and dumping him out of the match.
Philip:XS3 has been eliminated!
There are a few groans from the crowd as XS3 hits the deck. Brimstone looks smug – but he barely has time to enjoy his success before he has Thunderkiss once again on his case. The two men battle fiercely; Kiss is as direct as ever, and Brimstone is momentarily left vulnerable by a clubbing blow to the temple. Kiss lifts him for the Heaven’s door, but then has to deal with a double attack from Jonny and Gooey, seeking to eliminate both Kiss and Brimstone together. Kiss defends himself by throwing Brimstone at the Wyldcard duo, and the resulting pile-up just yells to be added to; the crowd cheers as AK gets up on the turnbuckle and hits a frogsplash on to the conveniently soft mangle of bodies.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Do you get extra points for hitting more than one person with a splash, Max?
Maxwell McNally: Who knows, Eddie? The crowd seems to like it, anyway… but that sort of devil-may-care attitude will get Alicia eliminated in double-quick time, if she’s not careful.
With the centre of the ring full to capacity, the rest of the action is confined around the edges, triggering a wave of near-eliminations. Starkweather comes close to adding Flamingo to his scalp tally, only for the amazing one to cling on to the ropes and roll back under the bottom one while Stark is distracted by Jonny. Opposite, technical skills meet holistic ones, as Gooey and Dwight put one another in a series of holds. There’s a pop as Gooey pulls out an old favorite in the form of the Opium Krush (Vertebreaker), and Tim tries to roll to the outside for a much needed breather; he’s spotted by Rattlesnake, however, and Snake calmly pulls Dwight back from the brink and nails the Snakebite.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Yeooww! You know that had to hurt, folks!
Badly compromised, Dwight’s powers of recovery are not sufficiently quick for him to get out of this one; he bravely pulls himself up using the ropes and parries a few shots from Snake, but one hits its mark and Dwight tumbles to the outside.
Philip:Tim Dwight has been eliminated!
Dwight gives an inaudible expression of frustration as he gets up; the crowd though still cheers for him as he makes his way to the back. There’s no time to dwell on such things in the ring, of course; Dwight’s elimination leaves 14 in the running, and the ring is still close to being a free-for-all. With fists and feet flying all over the place, it’s hardly surprising when Nick and AK quite literally run into one another; Nick rubs his nose, and then seeing that AK is also momentarily distracted, he gets close and performs a neat snap suplex. AK kips up quickly off of this, and raises an eyebrow at Nick; Nick just grins, and runs at her again, forcing AK to duck to avoid him. As he passes, AK sticks her foot out and trips Nick; Nick sprawls, and AK decides to teach him a quick lesson by applying her Catch-22 (Ankle Lock variation). Submissions are of course largely pointless in a Rumble situation, but the crowd pops for AK’s trademark. Nick bucks and gets free, albeit with a new tenderness to his right foot to contend with.
Maxwell McNally: Hmm, an interesting strategy… a slow wrestler is a weak wrestler in this match.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: If that’s Durden when he’s slow, heaven knows what his “fast” is like, Max!
Nick is indeed “giving it some”, to use the colloquial. He puts AK on the defensive and inches her back toward the ropes; AK falls back a certain way, but then abruptly holds her station and whips Nick into the ropes ahead of them. Nick grabs the rope and performs a gorgeous quebrada to knock AK flat; he lines AK up as she gets up dangerously close to the edge, but BK has seen what’s going on, and he moves in rapidly behind Nick, getting him out of the way with a release German Suplex before going for AK herself. AK takes several good shots from BK, but won’t be sent out without a damn good fight, and the delay gives Nick enough time to recover. He manages to slip through the middle ropes and get to one side of BK, before leaping off into his Blazing Magus, connecting his shin with BK’s head. BK staggers sideways and drops near to the turnbuckle; the crowd shouts for something big, and in response Nick again is careful to exit through the ropes before getting up on the turnbuckle. He points at BK, looking at AK, who understand what he’s suggesting; as Nick firms up his stance, AK climbs up next to him, and then carefully clambers up on to his shoulders.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Waaait a minute… what in the heck is this all about?
BK is vaguely aware of some shadows moving above him as he tries to get his bearings; Nick and AK are taking an enormous risk, but it seems that everyone else is either too busy to notice, or wants to see if they can actually pull the move off. AK stands up with a touch of unsteadiness on Nick’s shoulders, and one person who most definitely does want to stop them is Jake; hemmed in by Scott, he has to first dodge the Scarlet Assassin before he can race to BK’s aid. AK jumps off of Nick’s shoulders before Jake can get close, and she adds a slight corkscrew to her plunge to flatten BK. The crowd roars; Jake stamps his foot, and gets one back by hitting a lovely backflip on to both his opponents, only for Nick to then moonsault on to the lot of them.
Maxwell McNally: Heh, this reminds me of that 619 traffic jam we had in a big multiple elimination match a while back.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: I don’t remember that, Max… it sounds a bit far fetched, like some sort of internet fan fiction or something…
The tangle of wrestlers in the corner tries to get itself sorted out; however, the crowd’s attention is drawn across the ring to where a now tiring Scott has been singled out by the ever-shrewd Starkweather. Scott punches with fire, but he’s had to deal with more than anyone else engaged in the Rumble, and Starkweather’s expertise in reading body language gives him an advantage over his fatigued foe. The crowd gets noisy, as Starkweather batters Scott with stiff kicks; one more in the right place will seal Scott’s fate…
