As the screen faded in from black to the flashes and clangs of distant battle, the commanding voice of none other than Don LaFontaine was heard over the din of conflict.
“There is a place… Where champions clash.”
A shot of Brimstone holding his title high that dissolved into Freeman holding it, Brimstone prone in the background.
“There is a world… Where conflict is never-ending.”
Wyvern holding up Senator's hand after a major win, staring at the title belt that he helped to hoist.
“There is a time… When all great heroes will meet in one massive epic battle.”
Last year’s Battle Royal shown at the very height of action, which again faded to black.
“And all of those heroes will fall.”
A CGI shot of a great many fallen medieval soldiers, shields split and bodies cleaved.
“…Save for one.”
One CGI soldier fought back up to his feet and hefted a large flag, and the scene ground to a halt as the Fallen Heroes logo appeared on the banner and the straining, faint guitar that pervaded the scene faded into the rumble of the lively Japanese crowd of the Tokyo Dome.
(OOC: Opening credits to Starkweather).

Segment: Big Promises (Credit: Scott Andrews)
The camera fades into the backstage area of the Tokyo Dome as we see Scott Andrews standing alongside the mammoth, Butch Townsend. Scott has his briefcase ready and is in full wrestling attire. He doesn’t waste time getting things off his chest.
Scott: Ladies and jackasses, welcome to ACW’s Fallen Heroes!
The crowd let out a cheer for the PPV mention.
Scott: And tonight will be a night for the Scarlet Assassin to never forget, when I take on that son of a bitch, Latino and pin his ass one, two, three in the centre of the ring, no questions asked, money back guarantee!
Boo!
Scott: Because tonight, I lay it all on the line. Tonight is about a fresh start; a chance to re-emerge as a new and improved Scott Andrews, no longer tainted by restraints or restrictions! And that’s exactly when I thrive! Y’see, I’ve been telling you all since the beginning that I have a plan to take out, Latino, and believe me that plan will be implemented tonight and WILL guarantee I do not become a slave to a man who deserved to be dropped from the roster a long time ago!
BOO!
Scott: It’s my pride and personal freedom versus your career, Latino…Your career. And to be honest, I think I have more to lose. You’re career is a joke now anyway, you’re past your prime and I’m looking to step up, and not just fill your shoes, but buy a whole new pair, baby! Scott Andrews is walking out of that match the victor, and that’s a promise straight from the horse’s mouth!
BOO! + Generic jeering.
Scott: And after I beat Latino in under or around four and a half minutes I’ll have sufficient time to recover for the Battle Royal…And this year, it’s going to be a good one, not only because Scott Andrews has entered, but because Scott Andrews is going to WIN it! Oh yeah, that’s right! Put your money on Andrews, baby, because I’m your safe choice!
The crowd seem to be getting restless and defiant of Scott’s constant rambling and self-glorification as the begin to slowly build a rumble of jeering and booing which gradually gets louder as Scott talks.
Scott: It’s not a matter of what or who, it’s a matter of when. When will Scott Andrews eliminate 13 men in one go?! When will Scott Andrews win the rumble, and in how little time?! And when will Scott Andrews finally win the ACW World Title?! All these questions will be answered in due time, my good fans! So all I ask is that you go take a leak, grab a bag of Cheetos, and sit back and enjoy the Scott Andrews victory party! They call this Fallen Heroes? …Well, I’m no hero. So I shall stay standing when everyone around me fails, and the true Cold Blooded Killer shall once again rise to prominence in ACW! Latino, and the rest of the ACW roster better be prepared for one hell of a fight, because tonight, it looks like there’s gonna be a lot of assassinations…
Scott walks out of frame as “The Executioner” follows behind and the scene fades out.

When Things Can Only Get Worse....They Do Part 1 (Credit: Jake and BK)
Reunited and it feels so good. Jake and BK, obviously, prepare for the battle royal. And when I say prepare, I mean BK is stretching and Jake is sitting down in his ring gear eating. BK uses a chair to help him out of his stretch as Jake belches loudly. BK reaches over the couch and hits Jake on the head. Jake jumps off the couch and give BK the ‘WTF’ look.
Jake shrugs and walks over to the mini-fridge. He opens it up but it’s empty. Jake looks over at BK but BK is only focused on one thing, preparing for his match. Jake opens his mouth to break the silence and find out why they have no food, but BK’s stomach decides to interrupt
Jake: You hungry too?
BK: Yeah.
Jake: Haha. Alright, I’ll go to the cafeteria to get some food.
BK: Nah, don't worry about it, Japanese food has never quite agreed with me. They need better catering, right here in the Tokyo Dome!
Cheap pop?
Jake: Damn, you’re right. So what do we do?
BK: Is there any pizza shop around here or something? Maybe a hot dog vendor or something.
Jake: I don’t know.
BK: You don't know? How could you NOT know?
Jake: Well I don't LIVE in Japan, BK.
BK: Your point? I'm sure if we were in the south you would be asking me where all the KFCs are at, some Asian Extraordinaire you are.
Jake:...you know, that’s a good nickname. Jake ‘The Asian Extraordinary....
BK: Yeah yeah. Since you’re so extraordinary, why don’t you go get something for me to eat. Nothing much, maybe a Snickers bar, if they have one of those here.
Jake: Why do I have to do it? This is BULLSHIT! Why is it me? Do you think your better than me or something? You know what BK, screw you. Good luck tonight.
Jake grabs his wife-beater off the couch and storms out of the door and BK rubs his temples.
BK: What a bit-
The door opens again and Jake’s head pops through,
Jake: Heh, got you.
Jake runs away and BK laughs to himself before he continues his warm-up routine. Everything seems fine between Top Draw. Was there friendship rebuilt or are they just trying to get through another show on the same page? And why does BK want a Snickers when Milky Way are so much better?
To Be Continued....

Segment: "Round Four" (Credit: Rattlesnake)
Fallen Heroes is finally here. Even though it's been a year since the last one, it feels like it's been too long. Then again, it is just another big event for everyone involved.
The last time Rattlesnake was involved in a sanctioned ACW event where the winner received a title shot was Emperor of the Ring and as everyone knows, he won that. Granted his chance to tame the Tiger didn't work out as he'd hoped, it wasn't the end of the world. Then again, the way things turned out, it's like he never realized that until it was too late.
Odds don't exactly sit in his favor for winning the Fallen Heroes Battle Royale, but the later he appears in the match, the higher his chances of winning increase. But it would be quite a challenge to go from the number one spot and manage to win. He didn't know where he'd be entering the match, but he was focused on winning.
Rattlesnake: The night everyone has been waiting for is finally here. The road to Omega Effect III begins tonight. One half of the Omega Effect III Main Event becomes official tonight. 30 participants all vying for that single spot. Alliances are out the window. Teams will seperate. Friends will turn on each other. The weak will use whatever they can to win...like weapons and not rely on skill.
Some people have promised to bring weapons to the ring. The first thing to cross his mind is "a complete lack of skill." It won't do them any good though. They'll make easy targets. On top of that, it'll show who really should win.
Rattlesnake: Tonight, I have my mind set one one thing and one thing only. Of course, it's winning the battle royale. If I want another crack at the World Championship, it's only going to happen with a win tonight.
Cobra: So you think you're ready?
Rattlesnake: What the hell did I tell you a few days ago?
Cobra: I think you said I couldn't get involved in your match. You never said anything about wanting me to stay away the entire time. You need to be more specific next time.
Rattlesnake: How about you go away now?
Cobra: I don't feel like it. I feel comfortable where I'm at right now. I'm not interfering with anything you're doing and I'm not getting involved in your "big" match. So why don't you just get over it?
Rattlesnake: You are interfering with what I'm doing. I'm getting ready for my match.
Cobra: Oh bullshit. You aren't doing anything aside from standing around and contemplating tonight.
Rattlesnake: I'm preparing myself mentally.
Cobra: I don't know how to tell you this, but it's not working.
Rattlesnake: Oh go to hell. I don't want this to go on anymore. Leave me the fuck alone. I'm serious this time.
Cobra: You want me to go away? Fine. I'll go away. But let me leave you with a little reminder.
Rattlesnake: And what's that?
All of a sudden, an object crosses Rattlesnake's face and knocks "him" out.
Cobra: You can't get rid of me that easily. And since you're sitting on the sidelines right now, I'll be participating in Fallen Heroes tonight, not you. Don't worry about a thing. You'll be in the Omega Effect III Main Event. You can thank me later.
Cobra smirks as he sits down, satisfied with what he had done.
Cobra-2 Rattlesnake-1
Fade Out.

Segment: What of Principalities? (Credit: The Prince)
“Men must either be flattered or crushed; for they will revenge themselves for slight wrongs, whilst grave ones they cannot.” - Machiavelli.
I deserved her, I had her, I lost her. I gave a sucker an even break. Staten Island, 1999, out on the projects with my lady, my first love (if I know what that is) Jenni. Curved body, with dark brown hair and matching big eyes. She was a true beauty amongst this filth we lived in, a trainee lawyer working for immigrants. While I was an ex-drug pusher learning philosophy. The match was so contrasting, but beautifully simple. Took me a while to realise I was just another fragment in an idiot's illusion. We had been going out for a good 3 years, but marriage was never a scent in our relationship, merely a maybe. Though vows don't mean shit when they are orchestrated by a bitch. Her company was enough for me, I didn't want anything else from her. 3 years in and I still wasn't bored. Drinking Jack Daniels till the early morn listening to music and talking. Talking about anything, that was the link, our mouths and speech. The connection was snapped with ease however, by one big shot lawyer and a massive cock. It seemed like any other day, I went off to work as did she. I was going to be late home because I was working on my philosophy project at The Unit bar. One second of mere moment changed my decision. As I walked home with the lights flickering like fire sparks, the moon peering around the statue of liberty, with an atmosphere so light the car fumes didn't even penetrate my lungs. I felt a sudden urge in my sub-conscious to get home and see her. It was as if I hadn't seen her for ages, an animal instinct. I wish I hadn't, I wish I'd stopped, but I bought her some flowers, roses, traditionally her favourite. I wanted to surprise her, see her smile again, I never knew I would never see her like that again. My fingers trembled with excitement as I entered our modest flat. My heart sank to my feet, dead.
'Yeh baby, fuck me, yes'
That wasn't my fucking voice. That wasn't me there, what was I doing there? Looking in the past, present or future? Was I dreaming? She wouldn't, couldn't be doing this. This isn't Jenni. Please tell me it isn't Jenni, anybody but Jenni. I'll never forget the luck on her face. She almost looked, angry? I'm not sure what it was, confused? As if I wasn't me.
'Fuck, shit' said the creep in my motherfucking bed.
'Fuck me. Please Jenni, what is this? How long? Fuck, don’t tell me this is true?'
'Sorry, this is how it is. I cant....cant carry on in the projects. I’m so sorry you found out...but it's the best for me.....'
Fucking heard enough I grabbed the bitch and chucked her out. I felt disgusted touching her tainted skin. Leaving me with the creep. I grabbed my pistol from the bedside table and pistol whipped the cunt till he was red all over. I was going to pull the fucking trigger. But she told me stop. And for some reason I couldn't kill him, cos it would hurt her. Why didn't I? I don’t know, love is ironic, it moves in ways we cant foresee, it isn't a chess game. I let the fucker go. Jumped up lawyer didn't deserve the pain of a pistol. That was the last time I saw them till I was opposite them battling in court against GBH. The fucker was given a chance and he took it and flippedon me. What a fucking idiot, how could I be so stupid? How could I let it happen? How could she hurt me likes this? I know none of those answers, but I do know....

A spotlight is focused on the entrance, where Jay Basin walks out. He looks from the left to the right. He looks straight ahead and walks out a bit and whips out the "Basin Sign" (Birdman handsign). He separates his arms apart, as he begins to walk down the ramp. He walks straight ahead with his eyes focused on the ring.Phillip Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a six-person tag match to be contested under Dragon Gate rules. Introducing first...from Columbus, Ohio...weighing in at three hundred and twenty-five pounds...JAY...BAAAAAAASIIIIIIIIIIIN! Maxwell McNally: Good evening to all. The long-awaited Fallen Heroes royal rumble has finally dawned upon us once more. Eddie Edison: Tonight, a superstar’s highest dream will come to fruition. On the line will be a chance to fulfill the dream that so many of them have had since they were just toddlers, that is, the chance to headline the biggest event in all of sports entertainment, Omega Effect. McNally: Absolutely, but that would be getting ahead of ourselves. Before the rumble itself should be a spectacular exhibition match when the team of Jay Basin, James Lee, and PJ Mills face Renix Williams, Kirsten Carter, and the debuting Vivid in a battle of the sexes. At the end of the ramp, he raises his arms and crosses them. He strikes them down, and points ahead. He goes ahead and jumps up onto the ring apron, and red pyro explodes from the four corners of the turnbuckle. Basin goes into the ring, which is when the lights go back to normal, and Basin gives the crowd the "Basin Sign." The crowd boos Basin, but he ignores them. The familiar opening to "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane plays as the crowd immediately starts to boo like crazy, obviously knowing who it is, and out from the curtain is James Lee. He raises his arms and slowly starts to walk towards the ring, random fans threatening him along the way.Phillip: And his tag team partners, introducing first...from New Orleans, Louisiana...weighing in at two hundred and sixteen pounds...“YOUR PERSONAL SAINT”...JAMES...LEE! Finally he rolls into the ring and uses his trademark taunt. The crowd eventually settles down. The opening guitar strumming to “Always Waiting for More” by Faktion plays as the lights die down and spotlights move around the arena. The come to a stop together in middle-stage, with smoke blowing towards each other from either side of the entrance.Phillip: And finally, hailing from Houston, Texas, and weighing in at 223 lbs! P! J! Mills! The accompanying guitar and drums comes in, and PJ comes out, hand-in-hand with Ashlei, center stage through the smoke. A spotlight stays on them while two other spotlights dance behind him on the Alphatron. The smoke dies down, lights come on and the song comes in full force. PJ makes his way to either side of the stage, talking himself up and sneering at the fans. Ashlei stays center stage, watching PJ as he does his deal. They walk down the ramp with a ray of cockiness around them. When they reach the ring, PJ slides in while Ashlei takes the stairs up. Once his sliding stops, PJ stands up and holds the ropes down for Ashlei, who, rather sultry-like, makes her way under the top rope. The embrace in the middle of the ring, give an aggressive kiss, and remain in the embrace for a second before letting go. PJ opens his jacket, removing his sunglasses and beanie. Ashlei removes his jacket, folding it before exiting the ring. PJ rests in his corner, waiting for the match to begin.Phillip: And now, if I might direct your attention to the entrance. Hailing all from Sweden to perform their hit song “Bad Reputation,” HALFCOCKED! No sooner does the crowd go wild than the members emerge from the entryway and man their instruments, Sarah Reitkopp on the mike; Jhen Kobran, bass; Johnny Heatley, guitar; and Charlee Johnson, drums. Johnson raps his drumsticks against each other three times before the lights cut to black and the screen is flooded with frantic flashes of green, pink, and teal lights. The roaring intro to “Bad Reputation” kicks into gear. A brilliant stream of rocket fireworks shoot up from the stage and the regular lighting returns.I don't give a damn about my reputation You're living in the past, it's a new generationThe camera focuses on the entryway, but no one appears. A few seconds later, the camera zooms to a random location in the audience.Hey, a girl can do what she wants to do And that's what I'm gonna do
And I don't give a damn about my bad reputation Oh no No, no, no, no, no, no, no Not me Me, me, me, me, me, me
And I don't give a damn about my reputation I never said I wanted to improve my station And I'm only feeling good when I'm having fun And I don't have to please no oneThe team of Kirsten Carter, Renix Williams, and Vivid can be seen wading through the mass of adoring fans, high-fiving a few along her/their way to the ring.Phillip: And making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of three hundred and eighty-one pounds...the team of Kirsten Carter, Vivid, and Renix Williams! And I don't give a damn about my bad reputation Oh no No, no, no, no, no, no, no Not me Me, me, me, me, me, me Oh no No, no, no, no, no, no, no Not me Me, me, me, me, me, meThe three lovely ladies hop over the barricade and rolls into the ring. They run to each side of the ring and taunts for the fans to cheer. The crowd goes wild as Halfcocked continues to jam out. The women drink up all the adoration until the song hits its final crescendo. The members of Halfcocked take one final bow and disappear into the backstage area as Joey Reynolds calls for the bell.DING, DING, DING!McNally: And that’s the sign for us to be off to the races. Remember that this match is contested under Dragon Gate rules, meaning that tags are not necessary to alternate legal competitors. Starting off will be Renix Williams and James Lee. They strafe around the ring a bit, taking time to carefully measure the other before going for the tie-up. Lee throws Renix’s arm to the side, spinning her around so that she’s facing away from him, and locks arms around her waist. Renix jerks her body to the side to break Lee’s grip and spins around to end up behind him, locking arms around his waist afterward. Lee takes hold of her arm and pulls it away from the other, effectively snapping her grip. Lee then steps under and wrenches the captured arm forward. Renix takes Lee’s arm and wrenches it forward instead. Lee drops to the mat and uses the momentum to fling Renix over in an arm drag. Renix rolls through the impact and back onto her feet. Lee has bounded up as well. Renix runs at Lee, who catches her in a drop toe hold. Lee floats over to Renix’s head and applies the side headlock. He rises to his feet, dragging Renix up along with her, only to ground her again with a side headlock takeover. With Lee still holding onto her, Renix throws her legs up to wrap them around his head. Lee tucks his legs in and quickly kicks out to shake her off. The two roll back to their feet and clasp hands in a one-handed test of strength. As Lee goes to capture Renix’s other hand, Renix launches a kick into Lee’s free arm, sending it flying away. Renix steps under Lee’s ensnared arm and wrenches it forward. To twist his arm back to the right position, Lee rolls forward so that he ends up on his back, then kips up to regain his footing. Lee then immediately hurls Renix with an arm drag. The two pop back to their feet. Renix again charges for Lee, who catches her with another arm drag. This time, Renix is planted with notable impact, probably knocking the wind out of her. She rolls under the bottom rope and to the outside, giving Vivid the cue to take center stage. Lee also makes a tag to PJ to cycle in a fresh man.

So too do these competitors circle the ring before moving in to engage each other. They clasp hands for a test of strength, but Vivid quickly drills PJ in the stomach with a toe kick, taking him into a side headlock after. PJ shoves Vivid into the ropes, effectively popping his head out from her grasp. Vivid bounces off to nail PJ with a shoulder block. Vivid lifts PJ to his feet and whips him into the ropes. When he rebounds, Vivid drops to a prone position, allowing PJ to hurdle over her and run to the opposite ropes. PJ bounces off, and Vivid tries for a clothesline, but PJ ducks and continues running to the opposite ropes. When PJ bounces back, Vivid tries to flip him over into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, but PJ generates some extra momentum to complete a full flip and land on his feet. He then uses his momentum to hurl Vivid over with an arm drag. PJ kips up to his feet as it takes Vivid considerably more effort to get to hers. PJ follows up his assault with a headscissors takeover. Vivid rolls under the bottom rope and out of the ring. As she’s trying to shake the cobwebs out on the outside, PJ runs to the ropes and pretends to go for a suicide dive, but as he reaches the ropes, he instead executes a handspring, allowing his legs to bounce off the top rope. PJ tags Lee back in, and greeting him is none other than Kirsten.
Kirsten lunges in for the tie-up, but Lee ambushes her with a toe kick to the gut. Lee tries to whip her to the opposite ropes, but Kirsten counters and sends Lee to the ropes. When Lee bounces off, Kirsten leapfrogs over him. Lee runs under and continues to the ropes. By the time he bounces off again, Renix has gotten to her feet and soars over him with another leapfrog. Lee runs under her and into the ropes, rebounding straight into a bicycle kick from Kirsten! Kirsten pulls Lee up and whips him into the corner. Kirsten runs after him, only to catch a boot to the face. Lee runs to the ropes on the female side of the ring, and Vivid is there to catch him with a roundhouse kick across his back. Vivid holds Lee against the ropes, and Kirsten charges toward him with a forearm strike. However, Lee ducks away at the last possible moment, and Kirsten instead decks Vivid, sending her to the outside. Lee runs at Kirsten, who tries to land an outside crescent kick, but Lee ducks under and continues running for the ropes. Lee rebounds and hops up to catch Kirsten’s head in between his legs and toss her over with a hurricarana! Kirsten rolls to the outside, allowing for Renix to enter the action. Lee tags in the awaiting Basin.
Renix makes a beeline for Basin and buries a boot into his gut before he can comprehend the situation. Renix tries to whip him into the ropes, but Basin counters and it is Renix who is sent into the ropes. When Renix bounces off, Basin drops to his stomach, and Renix hurdles over him. Basin gets to his feet as Renix bounces off the opposite ropes. Basin quickly sidesteps and shoves Renix into the opposite ropes. Renix bounces off as Basin goes for a big boot, but Renix ducks and continues running to the opposite ropes. When Renix rebounds, Basin tries for a clothesline, but she ducks under and continues running for the opposite ropes. After bouncing off this time, Basin catches her in an arm drag. Renix rolls back onto her feet as Basin rises up as well. Basin runs for Renix, only to be tossed over with an arm drag as well. The two pop back to their feet, and Basin acts first with a toe kick to Renix. Basin whips her into the ropes. Renix bounces off to try for a headscissors takeover, but when she floats over to Basin’s side, Basin quickly drops to a seated position to plant her in a sidewalk slam! Basin raises her to her feet and traps her in a front facelock. He pulls her to his corner as PJ climbs to the top rope and comes flying off with a double axe handle to Renix’s exposed back. Renix drops to her knees, and PJ pounces by applying a two-handed three-quarters facelock and grounding her with a snapmare. PJ follows that up with a leg drop. PJ covers.[/i]

.......2.......
KICKOUT
PJ tosses her into his corner and exits the ring as Basin and Lee enter. They both drill Renix with some stomps and brings her to the center of the ropes. Basin and Lee whip Renix into the opposite ropes. After she bounces off, they greet her with simultaneous back elbow strikes. Basin pulls Renix to her feet and whips her into the ropes. She rebounds as Basin drops to a prone position. Renix runs over him and under Lee who leapfrogs over her. Renix continues running to the ropes and bounces off, straight into a toe kick from Lee. Basin runs to the ropes perpendicular to Renix and bounces off to catch her with a knee lift. As Renix stumbles around, dazed by the last vicious shot, Lee runs to the ropes behind her, rebounding to plant her in a bulldog, which is immediately followed by an elbow drop across her back! The heels haughtily taunt to the less than appreciative crowd, though it’s unlikely they care too much for the fan reaction. They exit the ring, allowing for PJ to pounce on the wounded Renix with some stomps. PJ then lifts her to her feet, but Renix flings his arms away from herself and strikes with a furious flurry of knife-edge chops that backs him into her corner. Renix seats PJ onto the top rope and tags in Vivid, who launches a vicious slap across PJ’s face. Kirsten, still standing on the apron, slaps PJ across the back with a roundhouse kick. Vivid pulls PJ off the top rope and drags him to the center of the ring before planting him with a scoop slam. She raises him to his feet and drills his face into the mat with a sitout facebuster. Vivid covers.

........2........
KICKOUT
Vivid pulls PJ to his feet and tosses him back into her corner, tagging Kirsten in afterward. Kirsten pulls PJ back into the center of the ring and lifts him into a vertical suplex position. In a testament to her amazing strength, she holds PJ suspended high into the air, much to the amazement of the onlooking audience. She eventually drops to a seated position while throwing PJ forward with a front suplex between her legs. Kirsten lifts PJ up, only to ground him with another scoop slam, following that up with a senton splash. Kirsten covers.

KICKOUT
Kirsten raises PJ to his knees, only to knock him down with a stiff double axe handle across his shoulder. She goes for another one, but PJ blocks and fights his way to his feet with some punches into her gut. PJ then strikes with a dropkick. PJ tags in Basin, who lifts Kirsten up and whips her into the ropes. Kirsten bounces off, straight into a sidewalk slam from Basin! Basin gets to his feet and drops an elbow onto Kirsten’s sternum. Basin covers.

.........2.......
KICKOUT
Basin locks in a sleeper hold. Vivid charges into the ring and breaks up the submission. Kirsten takes this opportunity to catch her breath and exits the ring. Vivid slugs him across the face, but this barely fazes Basin, who hurls his beefy fist right back in a punch that floors Vivid. Basin lifts Vivid to her feet and pulls her over to his corner, making sure to ram her face into the top turnbuckle. Basin tags in PJ, and the two back Vivid up against the ropes. They whip her to the opposite ropes, greeting her with simultaneous toe kicks when she bounces back. PJ runs to the ropes perpendicular to Vivid. When he bounces back, Basin scoops him up into a powerslam position and spins toward Vivid so that PJ’s legs swing straight into Vivid’s face! Basin then elevates PJ up into a gorilla press before tossing him down on top of Vivid! Lee then enters the ring. As Vivid rises to her knees, Lee and Basin hook their arms underneath PJ’s and flip him backwards. PJ uses this momentum to swing his legs forward to smack Vivid with a dropkick. Basin and PJ exit the ring. Lee covers.
1.................
........2.........
KICKOUT
Lee raises Vivid to her feet and sets her up for a suplex, but Vivid hooks her leg around his to block the attempt. Vivid then begins to power her way to her own corner. Once Lee is within arm’s reach of the other women, Kirsten and Renix grab a handful of his tights and pull him straight back into their corner. Vivid drills him with some shoulder thrusts to his gut. Vivid then pulls him back to the center of the ring and grabs a tuft of his hair, using it to fling him clear across the ring. Vivid exits the ring. Renix barges into the ring and takes hold of Lee’s hair as well, also hurling him across the ring. Finally, Kirsten comes in and follows suit, tossing Lee over by his hair one last time. Kirsten pulls Lee to his feet and whips him into the ropes. When Lee bounces off, Kirsten trips him up with a drop toe hold. Renix runs to the ropes perpendicular to Lee and rebounds to smack him square in the jaw with a dropkick! Kirsten exits. Renix raises Lee to his feet, but he promptly fights back by decking her in the jaw with a European uppercut. Lee runs to the ropes and rebounds with a clothesline attempt, but Renix ducks under and runs to the ropes. Lee bends forward hoping to catch her in a back body drop, but Renix leaps over him and rolls him up into a sunset flip!
1...............
........2.......
KICKOUT
Renix tags in Vivid, who pulls Lee to his feet and drags him to the corner, ramming his face into the top turnbuckle afterward. Vivid then buries some stomps into Lee’s stomach, forcing him to drop into a seated position. Vivid runs to the opposite corner, only to come charging back toward Lee to hit a bronco buster! Vivid pulls Lee up and drags him over to her corner before tagging Kirsten in. As Vivid holds Lee in a front facelock, Kirsten buries a toe kick into his ribs. Kirsten and Vivid back Lee against the ropes and whip him into the opposite ropes. Lee bounces off straight into a double clothesline. Renix enters the ring and takes hold of Lee’s ankles while Vivid lifts him up by the arms. While Lee is suspended slightly above the ground, Kirsten runs to the ropes perpendicular to Lee and lands a flipping senton! Kirsten and Renix exit. Vivid covers.

KICKOUT
Vivid raises Lee to his feet and pulls him over to her corner, throwing him against the turnbuckle. After being tagged in, Kirsten runs to the opposite corner and comes charging back to land a Carter Splash. Kirsten backs Lee up against the ropes and whips him into the opposite ropes. However, Lee hooks his arms around the top rope to prevent himself from bouncing back. Kirsten charges at him to drill a headbutt straight into his stomach. With Lee’s arms still hooked around the top rope, Kirsten grabs hold of his legs and lifts him up so that he’s suspended horizontally in the air. Vivid enters and runs to the ropes opposite of Lee and rebounds to leap over Kirsten and drop a seated senton on top of Lee! With Lee’s arms still hooked around the top rope, Kirsten grabs his legs and again lifts him up so that he’s horizontal in the air. Vivid drops to all fours directly behind Kirsten as Renix enters and runs to the ropes opposite of Lee. Renix springboards off Vivid’s back to leap over Kirsten and land on Lee with another seated senton! Even after all this, Lee has still managed to keep his arms hooked around the top rope. This time, it’s Renix who takes Lee’s legs and suspends him horizontally in the air. Kirsten climbs to the top rope and drills a double stomp into Lee’s exposed stomach! This finally forces Lee to let go of the top rope and tumble to the center of the ring. Renix covers.

KICKOUT!
Renix and Vivid exit. Kirsten lifts Lee to his feet and whips him into the ropes. She hooks her arm under his to try for a hip toss, but Lee doesn’t allow himself to be thrown over and instead floats over to Kirsten’s other side and hook his arm around hers before throwing her over with a hip toss. Sensing trouble, Vivid storms in and buries a double axe handle on top of Lee as Kirsten rolls out of the ring. Vivid sets Lee up for a suplex, but Lee hooks his leg around hers to block and instead takes Vivid over in a suplex! Lee rolls out of the ring, prompting Basin to join the action. As Vivid rises to her feet, Basin tries for a clothesline, but Vivid ducks under and runs to the ropes. She bounces off, straight into an overhead belly to belly suplex from Basin! Vivid rolls out of the ring, and Renix joins the fray, as does PJ. PJ runs to Renix, who tries to greet him with a clothesline, but he ducks under. PJ runs for Renix again and catches her in a headscissors, but instead of taking her over, PJ floats across her back and swings around to lock in the headscissors a second time, then flipping her over in a headscissors takeover! Renix rolls to the outside. By now, Lee has gotten back up. Vivid has also regained her footing on the outside. Lee sails over the top rope to come crashing down on top of Vivid with a plancha! PJ exits the ring to stand on the apron near where Renix is attempting to catch her breath. PJ hops onto the second turnbuckle and flips backward to land an asai moonsault on Renix! This leaves just Basin and Kirsten in the ring.
Kirsten makes a beeline for Basin, only to be floored, albeit momentarily, by a right hand. Kirsten kips up to strike with a dropkick. Kirsten lifts Basin up and tries to whip him into the corner, but Basin counters and sends Kirsten into the corner. Basin chases after Kirsten. As Kirsten approaches the corner, she places her hands in front of herself and grabs hold of the top rope. She then hops up so that she’s horizontal in the air. Basin runs straight under her and collides with the turnbuckle. Kirsten backs Basin up against the ropes and whips him into the opposite ropes. When Basin bounces off, Kirsten hops up and catches his head between her legs for a hurricarana, but Basin promptly counters by planting her in a powerbomb! Basin covers.

KICKOUT!
Basin is furious and bellows indistinct obscenities at Reynolds before going back to work. Basin lifts Kirsten to her feet and gets behind her to wrap his arms around her waist. Kirsten spins to the side so that she ends up behind Basin and locks her arms around his waist. Still holding onto Basin, she charges to the ropes, pushing him up against the ropes as well. The recoil allows Kirsten to roll him backward into a bridge pin, but instead of staying on for the cover, Kirsten hops up and slightly backwards to plant a double stop onto Basin’s gut. Renix and Vivid make their way back into the ring. Kirsten whips Basin into the corner and lands a Carter Splash. Renix charges toward Basin and lands a clothesline. Vivid follows that up with a back elbow strike. PJ tries to run to the rescue, but only catches a toe kick from Vivid for his trouble. Vivid lifts him up into belly to back suplex position. Renix drops to her knees, allow Vivid to seat PJ on top of her shoulders. Kirsten climbs to the top rope and soars off to hit PJ with a diving lariat! Kirsten and Vivid exit. Renix covers.

KICKOUT!
Renix raises PJ to his feet and tries to whip him to the ropes, but PJ counters and sends Renix into the ropes. When Renix bounces off, PJ tries to land a spinning heel kick, but Renix ducks and continues running to the ropes. She hops onto the second rope and flips backward to crash on top of PJ with a Devious Drop! Renix gets to her feet and climbs to the top rope, flipping backward to land on PJ with yet another moonsault, this time for the cover.

KICKOUT
Renix pulls PJ up and lifts him up for a suplex, but PJ twists his body around in midair so that he’s now face to face with Renix and drops down to plant her in a cutter! Renix rolls to the outside. Vivid takes this cue to jump into the action. PJ runs to the ropes and bounces off to catch her in a headscissors, but as soon as PJ is horizontal in the air and about to take her over, Vivid drops down into seated position, planting PJ face-first between her legs! PJ rolls to the outside. Lee enters the ring and blindsights Vivid. After properly stunning her, Lee plants Vivid in a snap suplex. Lee gets to his feet and hops onto the second turnbuckle, flipping backward with a moonsault, but Vivid sticks her knees up so that Lee meets a most awkward landing. Vivid raises Lee to his feet and picks him up into a fireman’s carry, but Lee twists his body to the side to wriggle himself out of her grasp and drops down into a seated position to plant Vivid in a reverse DDT! Lee covers.

KICKOUT
Vivid gets to her feet and climbs up the top rope but is immediately met with some right hands from Basin. After properly ascertaining her, Basin climbs up to the second rope and seats Vivid onto his shoulders. PJ climbs up onto the top rope next to Basin and Vivid and leaps up to catch Vivid’s head between his legs before flipping backward to send Vivid crashing to the mat with a frankensteiner off Basin’s shoulders! Basin leaps off the second rope to land an elbow drop on Vivid. Basin covers.

KICKOUT!
PJ lifts Vivid to her feet and hops onto her shoulders. He then spins around so that he’s facing Vivid and tries to flip backward for a hurricarana, but Vivid keeps a firm footing, leaving PJ suspended upside-down. Renix enters and runs to the ropes, rebounding to strike with a dropkick to PJ’s face. Vivid exits. Renix pulls PJ up and whips him into the opposite ropes, but PJ baseball slides underneath the bottom rope and to the outside. Meanwhile, Lee has climbed to the top rope and soars off to land a missile dropkick on Renix! As soon as Lee gets to his feet, Kirsten enters and smacks him square in the jaw with a superkick. As Lee staggers backward, Kirsten lifts him up for a suplex, but he wriggles out of her grasp and lands behind her facing away from her. Lee hooks his arms around Kirsten’s for a backslide, but pops one arm loose and spins around to face Lee, only to be caught in a DDT! Vivid has gotten to her feet now and as Lee rises, she tries for a clothesline. However, Lee ducks and runs for the ropes. He rebounds and is immediately caught in a monkey flip! Vivid gets to her feet and is confronted by Basin. Vivid strikes with a toe kick and runs to the ropes. Upon bouncing back, she’s caught in a powerslam from Basin! As Basin gets to his feet, Renix runs toward him and catches him in a headscissors. She floats over so that she lands on her feet beside him. Basin spins her around so that she’s facing away from him and locks arms around her waist before taking her over with a German suplex!

KICKOUT!
Lee climbs to the top rope and flips forward to land a 450 splash on Renix for the cover.

KICKOUT
Lee gets to his feet and climbs to the top rope again. This time, though, Kirsten hops onto the apron next to him and sweeps his feet out from under him. Kirsten enters the ring again, but she’s ambushed by Basin, who locks arms around her waist. Lee leaps off the top rope and flips forward so that he lands underneath Basin, rolling him up into a sunset flip. Basin uses this momentum to hurl Kirsten backward in a German suplex! Lee raises Kirsten to her feet and plants her in a brainbuster! Lee covers.

........2.........
KICKOUT
Lee again climbs up the top rope, but Renix has hopped onto the apron and subsequently decks him with some fierce right hands. This forces Lee to drop back down as he leans face-first against the turnbuckle. Renix then enters the ring. Basin tries to blindsight her, but Renix moves out of the way and Basin instead crashes into Lee! Renix whips Basin into the opposite corner. Kirsten has recovered by now and hits Basin with a Carter Splash. Renix follows that up with a clothesline. Vivid charges at Basin with a clothesline of her own. Renix pulls Basin away from the ropes and traps him in a front facelock. She spins around to set Basin up for a neckbreaker, and Vivid lifts Basin up by his legs so that he’s suspended horizontally in the air. Kirsten mounts the top rope and flies off to plant a double stomp across Basin’s stomach. As she kicks off from Basin, she flips forward and lands onto the mat on her feet. She then runs to Lee, who is still leaning against the turnbuckle and crashes into him with a Carter Splash! She turns around just in time to see PJ springboard onto the top rope and soar off to catch her head in between his legs for a hurricarana attempt, but before he can take her over, Kirsten places her hands underneath PJ’s thighs and shoves him off, forcing him to flip backward. As soon as he lands on his feet, Kirsten wraps her arms around his waist and tosses him over with an overhead belly to belly Carterplex! PJ hightails it out of the ring. When Kirsten gets to her feet, she’s ambushed by Basin, but he in turn is blindsighted by Vivid, who hooks her arms around his and spins around before dropping down to drill him face-first into the center of the ring with a Thunderstruck! Lee runs for Renix with a clothesline attempt, but Renix ducks under. When Lee turns to face her, Renix doubles him over with a toe kick before turning away from him and trapping him in a two-handed three-quarter facelock. Vivid moves to Lee’s legs and lifts them up onto her shoulders so that he’s suspended horizontally in the air. With Renix and Vivid holding up Lee next to the fallen Basin, Kirsten climbs up the near turnbuckle and leaps off to land on Lee’s back with a double stomp. This causes Renix and Vivid to drop to a seated position to plant Lee in an assisted stunner. As soon as she lands on Lee, Kirsten kicks off to flip forth 630 degrees and comes crashing down on top of Basin with the Phoenix Down! Kirsten makes the cover!

It’s a wonder they’re still standing, but they thrust their arms high into the air as the audience continues to reward them for a job well done.

Segment: Revisiting April (Credit: BK)
As the segment opens up, we cut to a shot of BK London contuining his reptitions of pull ups in the gym constructed at the Tokyo Dome for the wrestlers involved in the show tonight. No one else seems to be occupying the gym, because they are probably getting ready for the show tonight, as BK should be - but sadly, this is the only time he has had to train for the match of his life, all month.
When he first announced that he was going to be in the match, he was elated to say the least at the thought of defeating 29 other men to reach the main event of Omega Effect III. This was his chance to finally accomplish something that had been thwarted the two past previous years in different contests, go to the main event of Omega Effect.
In 2005, he managed to make it to the final three of the first ever Fallen Heroes Battle Royale, but due to the combined efforts of Wyvern and Latino - his plan would not come to fruition. And the following year, in 2006, he competed for the ACW Heavyweight Championship against Alicia Kitsune, and even with the combined efforts of the New Corporate Alliance - he still couldn't get the job done. So this year, he vowed not to be defeated again, he vowed to use all his skill, all his strength, to make it to the main event of the biggest show in ACW History. But there was one man standing in his way? His partner Jake Cheng.
Jake also entered the Fallen Heroes Battle Royale, hoping to accomplish the same thing as BK, and rather than gain another enemy in the match - BK decided it would be a great plan to work together. Top Draw, when working as a unit, has proved to be damn near unstoppable - but people thought BK had other motives.
It all started with Dan White, former ACW wrestler, who was certain that BK London would turn on Jake Cheng in the match at Fallen Heroes for his own personal gain. Jake didn't necessarily believe Dan, but he didn't drop the thought either. It was until Stan's little speech that the major doubt came in. Who was Jake to believe? Stan? Or BK? BK can't necessarily be trusted, but BK has also been his friend for years on end and his first friend in ACW. Jake chose the road of sticking to his friendship with BK, but the question lies, was that the best decision?
We catch a glimpse of the thermostat in the gym, which has been turned up to near 90 degrees, turning it into almost a sauna of the sort as BK continues to do his pull ups. The sweat drips off the tip of his nose to the ground below, and quickly we cut to his facial expression which is one of pure concentration. What could be going through his mind right now other than winning the Fallen Heroes Battle Royale? Would be willing to break a friendship for a shot at the most coveted title in ACW? Would he stab his friend in the back to be right on top of the hill where he resided nearly 8 months ago?
Only time will tell..
Fade Out.

Segment: Good Luck (Credit: Thunderkiss / ??)
We cut to Thunderkiss, the ACW Entertainment Champion, walking down the halls with his title proudly displayed on his shoulder. He knows that tonight is a big night… and he wouldn’t have it any other way. Simply put, all of the challenges he’s had to endure on his way to Fallen Heroes have been nothing short of difficult. If he wants to become the best in ACW and place his name in the record books, Thunderkiss knows that he has to step up to the plate and realize his destiny, so to say.
Speaking of destiny…
One of the stage hands comes up to Thunderkiss with a note in his hand. The Entertainment Champion frowns and holds up the belt to his face.
Thunderkiss: Do you see this, brother? This is the Entertainment title. This is my proof of qualification into the Fallen Heroes battle royal. What makes you think you can come right up to me and wave this little… note in my face?
Man: “I was told to give this to you.”
The man hands Thunderkiss the note and leaves, not wanting a piece of the Immortal One. Thunderkiss opens the note and it reads:
“Hello, my old friend.
It’s been quite a while, hasn’t it? Truth is, I’ve been busy spending time with my family and my band to come back to ACW. Hence the reason for my disappearance. Don’t worry, I will return soon and when I do, maybe we can have one more good match for old times sake.
Well, I better go because Christine is waiting for me.
- X
P.S. I saw your match with Brimstone. Nice use of my finisher. Good luck tonight.”
Thunderkiss’ eyes go slightly wide and his mouth produces a small smirk. He stuffs the note in his pocket and places his title back on his shoulder.
Thunderkiss: Luck? Who needs luck? I’m looking forward to it, brother.
And with that, Thunderkiss walks off, contemplating his future victory.
Fade out.

When Things Can Only Get Worse....They Do Part Deux (Credit: Jake Cheng)
Outside the Tokyo Dome, Jake Cheng makes his way to the rental car he brought to the parking garage. The blue Nissan Versa’s lights flash as Jake remotely unlocks the car. He opens the door and notices the black and white nunchucks on the passenger side seat. Jake jumps into the driver’s seat and, like the cool guy he is, peels out on the way out of the garage.
Jake rolls down his window as he pulls onto the two-way street and turns on the radio. At first Jake goes to turn it back off as Jpop isn’t his style but he recognizes the song. He saw it on Gamefaqs a while ago because everyone was all over the 14 year old girls that sang it. Jake is pretty sure they muted the sound when they watched them dance.
Jake makes the right decision in turning off the radio and just watching the scenery. He looks out his drivers side window and watches people walk down the street. They all look at him, but he then realizes its because he’s an ACW superstar. But then a car passes him on his left side and it hits him. Damn Japan’s driving rules.
Jake looks ahead of him and notices the car coming directly at him. He swerves into the lane he should be in....and then out of the lane onto the sidewalk. He slames (lol inside joke) into a telephone pole and the airbag inflate. He climbs out of the car and looks around. The guy continues driving the other way and there is no one on the streets. Jake puts the keys in his pocket. He reaches back into the car and grabs both pairs of nunchaku from the passenger seat, the map in the dashboard, and rips off the panel under the panel of the bottom of the steering console.
Jake’s Brain: Make it look like it was stolen, you can’t suffer another shot to the wallet, especially after that prosti...
Jake (Aloud): I got it, thanks.
Jake grabs some wires and moves stuff around. Jake notices people turning the corner and darts into the dark alley and over a fence, thus continuing the quest for the Snickers.

Segment: Anthem (Credit: Michael)
I traveled quite a while, but after a few good hours of packing the bags, flying on the plane, and arriving at the arena, I could feel nothing else but my confidence increasing. However, I made sure to conceal myself before ever arriving in the arena. If the cameras were to catch me, I wanted to catch a mysterious side of me. A side that they would never believe I’d pass for. I was already fashionably late as I was, so I dressed up right before leaving the hotel in which I’d be staying the rest of tonight. As I walked from the parking lot with the bag containing all my other clothes, I caught the eyes of the camera. The eyes of the spotlight. ~~~~~~~~~~~~
The cameras finally begin to focus, finding themselves within the interviewing area for Fallen Heroes 2007. Standing within its center is a hooded figure, who can be seen from his forearms up. He is rather tall and very muscular, those aspects covered by the black cloak he wears. The black hood around his head covers most of his head with the exception of his mouth. The sounds of bodies crashing to the mat can be heard off-beat, as the cameras suddenly focus on a small TV hung upwards, at the upper right end of the interview set. It shows some ACW superstars from both the past and present fighting it out on the ring…one of them being tossed over the top rope at that very moment. This is when one realizes…it’s the 2006 Fallen Heroes match. The cameras then turn back onto the mystery man. Despite the cloak obscuring the upper half of his face, it can still be discerned that he’s studying the footage with most astute concentration.
“This business is a representation of the evil that all men have in their hearts. They are guilty of all of those sins…greed, lust, and the will to do violence upon others. Those sins are a part of what makes a professional wrestler...and the more you have of that, the better chances you are to go up the main event ladder. Men such as BK London, Rattlesnake, Kudo Yasuda, Latino, Scott Andrews, Chance Emmerson, Starkweather. They are all guilty! They have been shot down, and fallen from the graces of Fate and the Gods. Because they tried something many on this profession would frown upon.”
The man takes in a deep breath, letting his head lean back a bit more, as he sees another wrestler being thrown off the top ropes, having their dreams of an Omega Effect II title shot broken into a million pieces.
“Because they tried to become immortals! Immortals bigger than the “immortals” of this era. They defied the standards of this business; going above and beyond of what greatness is. Whether it was kidnapping an innocent bystander to turn two friends against each other or powerbombing hapless backstage employees through tables, they have done things that have brought asses into seats. They grasped the impossible, molded it as they saw fit, and made it possible. They made their dreams come true, they fulfilled destinies and some...haven’t even come close to the achieving the greatness they’re destined to.”
He stops himself from speaking, as he notices his arms shaking with excitement, as the countdown for number eighteen begins on the corner of the screen and one of the Alphatrons. It seems as if he’s getting goosebumps from what is soon to come…as the cameras focus on his face area again.
“Yet...these men are guilty. Why? Is it so wrong to chase after a dream? Is it wrong to accomplish a goal you’ve strived towards for so many nights? But yet…isn’t it wrong to hurt your fellow human beings? To hurt someone who may be a brother or a son to another? Isn’t it wrong to make one suffer physical pain and the agony of defeat at the same time? Those were the questions I asked myself before coming here tonight.” He takes another deep breath and the cameras go upwards again. On the TV, number nineteen has entered the rumble and he seems ready to have a go against the other competitors in the ring, fighting for that title shot at Omega Effect.
“Devotion. This business had been so hard on me the past few months, that I couldn’t devote myself fully to it, like I used to. In my early days, here and elsewhere, I had devoted every one of those days to this business. I fought with my heart and soul every night. Each move I used was snap-shot worthy, each word I said had catchphrase material to it, and each win I got brought me closer and closer to the devil’s fruit, the thing that all men greed and fight for in this business...gold. Most noticeably, twenty-pounds of it…”
The TV now shows the countdown for number twenty on the TV screen. The man stops speaking and he turns himself again, his back, right shoulder and right side of his hood being the only things seen alongside the TV, as he watches the action unfolding.
“I was hungry for it, back then. Even now I can’t help but stare at that twenty-pound piece of pure gold with the name of ‘Alpha Championship Wrestling World Champion’ upon its top. It is a belt that indicates that you are the best in this business. And, a belt where the only road left to go is shooting straight down to the bowels of El Diablo. That’s when the second part of my realization came about. As I examined one of my books at home, I came across the meaning of a certain word. That word is a word whose meaning is so great; the society in Ayn Rand’s Anthem considered it the forbidden word.”
He pauses for a moment, letting the air fill his nostrils and take a silent breath. As he did so, he whispered the words, as if it were a sin to say them.
“EGO!”
A faint “THUD” can be heard on the background with the TV, as someone had just been sent down onto the mat fiercely, perhaps the result of it being a concussion or a broken bone. That isn’t to be specified anytime soon, as number twenty-one was about to go into the lion’s den. On that cue, the hooded man begins walking off to his left, the cameras following him from the side, as still...nothing besides his lips moving can be seen. His eyes, his hair, and his face are all hidden to themselves at that moment.
“Over the past few months, I’ve done a heck of a lot self-searching, making my peace with some, and finishing wars with others. During that time, I came across Anthem. For those who don’t even know the book, allow me a brief synopsis. Imagine yourself in a society, where the word “we” is regarded as sacred, the word that unites mankind together. A society that tells you’re exactly the same as your brothers, and tells you must work for the good of them. Meanwhile, one of them feels it...as he looks upon his brothers, that he is much different than them. He attains knowledge considered forbidden, and eventually takes on the task of re-telling mankind of the idea of a self.”
He continues walking, his steps becoming faster and faster.
“After making amends with my own self, and as I thought about the past few months on the way over here, I made a conclusion. I had to be that man. The man who bears the task of telling others that, in this business, becoming the best is not a bad thing. The one man who has the mindset that he is the best, that no one can tell him otherwise and that if they’re that willing to do so...they can try to prove me wrong.”
He finally finds where he needed to be. Swiftly, he begins his ascent up some stairs, the clicks on his shoes being heard clearly as he takes each step onto the steel surface area. Soon, he finds himself right under the ring structures, as he stations himself onto a ramp that would take him up. He throws away his robe, revealing himself as none other than Enigmatic Charisma himself, Nick Durden. From his pants, he then pulls out an item from his pockets, and holds it tightly in his right hand, as the cameras now shoot from behind him.
“This match, win or lose, is only the beginning. When I go up there, I’ll give the world a show they will never forget. And from there on, I’ll make my way up the ladder. I will become a champion. I will lead by example…showing everyone in the back that if they want something, they have to go out and take it. Not sit on the sidelines and wait for it.”
He can only imagine the buzzing of the countdown clock now, and also the crowd going along with it.
“If it is a sin to become an immortal...”
Eleven, ten, nine…
“Then I’ll atone for that…”
Eight, seven…
“But I will devote myself from here on…”
Six, five…
He could hear the ramp taking him upwards now, very slowly. He extends both his arms out.
“I will grasp the impossible, like the few before me…”
Four, three…
“And I will become an immortal...”
Two, one…
BEEP!
“Once...and for all!”
Fade.
