Meanwhile, in the ring…
Victory.
Once again, victory.
Even though Chance had been distracted, a pin is a pin, and Yoko isn’t one to throw away an opportunity. She seems very excited and pleased at this as she retrieves her belt from ringside. Flower of Carnage begins to play as she parades around the ring. She’s either forgotten about Chance and Umeko and Starkweather, or she simply doesn’t care, now that it has been proven she isn’t involved.
She holds up the title triumphantly in the middle of the ring.
And that’s when she jerks her head slightly, as if in pain, and a flow of dark blood rushes from her nose. Not a trickle from one nostril, a large gush from both. Needless to say, she notices it, and drops her belt in order to clasp her hands over her nose.
She looks around in a panic and then walks toward the ropes to leave, but she isn’t walking straight. Her left foot catches behind her right one and she stumbles and trips. The crowd is silent, unsure how to react, especially when she shows absolutely no attempt to get back up…or movement at all, as the blood begins to form a puddle.
After about ten more seconds, one of ACW’s trainers rushes out alongside a doctor and they slide into the ring. They turn Yoko over so she isn’t face first in the blood. The doctor is trying to stop the blood while the trainer is trying to get her to respond. When she still doesn’t, he calls for EMTs. The response is immediate, and it’s frighteningly clear that this is a genuine incident as they barge past Chance and Umeko on the ramp.
Rather than continue filming, the current cameraman sets down his camera and turns it off. The others follow suit, leaving us with only black…
Sometimes, there are no neat endings, or neat answers.
End of Show.
OOC: Ending credits go to Yoko, as you may have surmised.
