Hellbound Heart has been officially sold out for many weeks, and there’s been plenty of money to be made by the scalpers as fans have fought to get their hands on tickets. For those who have managed it, the waiting is now over; the arena is heaving, full to capacity, and a forest of banners waves as the camera pans around to take in the glorious sight.
Then the titantron blazes into life, and the interior of Ginger’s office is shown. Ginger is on his mobile, talking to one of his staging managers.
Ginger: So is everything set up in the parking lot for the Asylum match?
Manager: Yes Sir…..damn, this is one twisted setup.
Ginger: Tell me about it…..should be a great match though. I’m leaving everything in your hands, call me if you have any problems.
Ginger turns the phone off as a suited security guard opens the door and looks in. Ginger sees him, and messages pass wordlessly between the two.
Ginger: He’s here?
Guard: Yes.
Ginger: You know what to do; seal off that corridor, no one goes down there. I’m not taking any chances.
The shot switches to the corridor in question; there are two burly guards preventing any access, but the camera can still use its zoom function, and it closes in to show a simple name plate on the door of the only room.
“Skurai.”
Fade Out.

Segment: Do it your own way (Credit: Yoko)
Yoko Satoshi is with Rena in Rena's locker room, doing some stretches to prepare for her match, while Rena is going through her wardrobe.
Rena: So what I was thinking was that you could bring your mallet to ringside, and I could come with you. When the referee is distracted, I could hit Kross with it.
Yoko: No.
Rena: No? Then what do you want me to do? I don't think I could tempt a priest, he seems very devoted.
Yoko stops stretching.
Yoko: I don't want you to do anything. I don't need your help. I'm going to beat him without cheating.
Rena: But we were supposed to pay him back.
She holds up a blue dress.
Rena: How's this?
Yoko: I don't like it. Don't you think I can beat him?
Rena frowns.
Rena: Of course you can beat him. I just thought we were doing this together.
Yoko: I would just rather take him on fairly.
Rena: If that's what you want. Just beat him. For both of us.
Rena leans in and kisses Yoko on the cheek. Yoko blushes.
Rena: ...For good luck.
Yoko: I...should go back to the Demon Pit, to finish preparing.
She quickly exits the room, and Rena goes back to her wardrobe.
End Segment.

Segment: I know something you don’t know…..(Credit: Daredevil)
Daredevil is strutting down the hallway, whistling to an ad jingle, when he stumbles across Gingerdude's office. He thinks for a few seconds and knocks on the door.
Gingerdude: Enter….
Daredevil opens the door, and sees that Gingerdude has stopped his work, and has a TV in front of him.
Daredevil: Oh, I see you're going to watch the Junior Title match. I'll come back later….
Gingerdude: No, no. Can it be quick?
Daredevil: Well, I was hoping you'd tell me what the stipulation for my match with Kain is going to be.
Gingerdude: Sorry Daredevil, but in case you had forgotten, there was a clause in the contract signing.
Daredevil: You mean the signing we did last night?
Gingerdude: Yes, you see, the clause was that the person who got to choose the stipulation gets to decide whether or not the opponent can know.
Kain enters through the door silently, making Daredevil jump when he speaks.
Kain: And I say you can't know…yet. But keep watching the show, Dan.
Daredevil and Gingerdude get a shock, as Kain starts laughing – something he almost never does. He inspects his belt gives it a quick polish with his hand.
Kain: See you in the ring, Daredevil.
Kain leaves, and Daredevil looks pissed off. He looks at Gingerdude, who makes an 'I want you to leave now' expression, and takes the hint.
Fade out.

Match 1: JonnyG vs FallenSouls – ACW Junior Title Match
The crowd has waited patiently for many weeks, and now their patience will be rewarded. Philip makes his entrance to loud acclaim, and smiles as he greets some of the fans on his way to the ring. A true master of ceremonies, he holds up his mic and gets ready to kick the show off.
Philip: Good Evening everybody, and welcome to Hellbound Heart! The first match tonight is a singles contest, set for one fall, and it is for the ACW Junior Title!
”In The End” hits, and the crowd is on its feet; those seats won’t get all that much use tonight.
Philip: Introducing first, from Toronto Canada……the challenger, JonnyG!
Jonny comes out of the entrance curtain at a jog, arms in the air and hyping up the fans as much as he can; a wave of support carries him down the ramp to the ring, and he climbs the turnbuckles to survey the crowd before returning to the centre.
The music shifts into “Boldly Going Nowhere”, and the fans boo with venom as Fallensouls strides out into the spotlights.
Philip: And his opponent, he is the defending ACW Junior Title Holder……From Soul Universe, Korea…….FallenSouls!
Fallen has his belt around his waist, and he gestures with his hands to indicate that it will be staying there. Unconcerned by the fans’ reaction, he steps up to the apron and through the ropes, and the crowd is making a massive amount of noise as the two superstars stare one another down, all the animosity of the previous weeks brought to a head in this one moment. So intense is their gaze that the ref has to ask Fallen twice for the belt before he hears him; the belt is held up, the crowd cheers, and the ref signals for the bell at the exact moment when Fallen and Jonny break and attack one another, to begin the show fully at last.
Bell Rings.
If either man is planning on wrestling a long match, they show little evidence of it – their blows are sent towards one another at full power and with seemingly little concern for energy conservation. Back and forth across the ring they move; Jonny tries to get a hold on Fallen, but the champ would rather continue with a straightforward punching contest. Forced to reconsider his strategy, Jonny ducks under a swinging punch, hurtles to the ropes and rebounds toward Fallen; Fallen catches and throws Jonny for a flapjack, but doesn’t keep far enough away as Jonny descends and gets two feet planted into his chest as Jonny flips over in the air. Both men have a hard landing, and they find their feet at about the same time; they charge one another and crack heads, each staggering back a foot or two. But Fallen is the quicker to recover, and he gives Jonny a swift scoop slam before making the first cover of the night. He gets about 1.5 before Jonny shoves him off and thrills the crowd by springing to his feet in a single movement from the mat. Fallen closes in again, but Jonny whips him to the ropes; Fallen rushes back and is armdragged. He rolls to his feet…..and is promptly armdragged again with a speed and precision that is not lost on the appreciate audience. Now rather enjoying himself, Jonny taunts Fallen a little as he picks himself up; Fallen scowls, but he does not make the same mistake again and maintains his distance. The fans, loving every second, chant “LET’S GO JONNY *clap clap clapclapclap*” and Jonny gives Fallen the “come on” gesture. Fallen flexes his fingers, gives a predatory smile, and charges once more.
Fallen finds a new gear; his blows seem to come at twice the speed, and Jonny has real difficulty staying on his feet in the face of this onslaught. Unable to knock Jonny down, Fallen pulls off a beautiful Fisherman’s suplex which is good for a 2 count; a straightforward powerbomb comes next, and again Fallen gets a 2. The fans are still cheering for Jonny, and he rallies; Fallen tries to pick him up for another power move, but Jonny elbows his way free and whips Fallen into the corner. Jonny charges, and Fallen leaps for his Launch Kick – but Jonny sees it coming and springs up to meet him. Both men swing punches in mid air, and they strike one another; the landing is a bit untidy, but it doesn’t prevent them from standing back up and attacking one another without so much as a second taken to draw breath. Still close to the corner, they batter one another; Fallen has his back to the turnbuckle and Jonny takes advantage of this, using the ropes on either side to brace himself before ramming a shoulder repeatedly against Fallen’s chest and driving Fallen’s back against the turnbuckles. Fallen takes a few blows before he can regather his wits and respond – he hooks his arms underneath Jonny’s outstretched limbs, then drops to a sitting position while pulling Jonny toward him. Jonny’s head is propelled forward, right into the steel post between the second and third turnbuckles, and the crowd cries out at the painful – looking impact; Jonny’s in no condition to defend himself as Fallen lifts him on to the turnbuckle before climbing up to join him; he sets him up for the FSX dynasty slam, and the crowd shouts in alarm as Fallen takes a leap to the outside…..

The impact takes its toll on both men; Jonny’s eyes are glazed, but Fallen takes several moments to rise back to his feet and when he bends down toward Jonny, he gets a kick to the face as payment for the “ride”. Fallen is surprised that Jonny still has fighting spirit left in him, but he just shrugs and goes for a quick DDT; Jonny has other plans, and he pushes Fallen away from him before he can fully take a hold on him. Jonny puts a hand to a sore patch on his head; Fallen smirks, and Jonny smiles back. Still close to the ring, more shots are exchanged as the pair circle around, treating those in the front to a detailed view of the action and testing the reflexes of the cameramen who have to keep backing away to avoid getting mistakenly caught up in the heated battle. As the pair come close to the announce tables, Fallen seems to be making the most progress; but Jonny finds that extra something again and rakes Fallen’s eyes before delivering a brainbuster suplex on to the thin outer mats. As Fallen is trying to right himself, Jonny looks at the announce desks, then at his fans….as one, the arena seems to shout “JONORMOUS SLAM!!”……and Jonny likes to give the fans what they want. Carefully he climbs on to the table and discards the monitors; he taunts Fallen, who is still a bit dizzy, and Fallen climbs up beside him too blinded by anger to spot the completely obvious. The fans stamp their feet and yell as Jonny fends off Fallen’s attack; and there’s a thunderous cheer as Jonny hits his trademark finisher, destroying the desk and adding another few hundred dollars to the Fed’s furniture bills. Jonny makes a smart exit back to the ring; he correctly predicts that Fallen will be up and fuming well before the count out, and decides to let the champion come to him. Fallen is glaring at Jonny with eyes like hot coals as he re – enters the ring, and now it’s personal.
The games are over; all that Fallen now cares about is retaining his title, and he doesn’t care how he achieves that. He repeatedly uses the ropes to try and choke Jonny out, getting several rebukes from the referee, and is also warned over the use of closed – hand blows. For his part, Jonny keeps up a strong front, but inside he’s starting to panic; Fallen just won’t let him get in a strong enough shot for him to go for a finisher, and though his ambitions are as strong as ever, with a second match to worry about Jonny recognises that some serious decisions will soon have to be made. But just as he’s contemplating this, he gets a break; Fallen makes a mistake with a mis – kick, and Jonny risks it all; he leaps up for the Deep Impact, and the crowd is on its feet as the move connects. Jonny pins, the ref counts, and it’s one, two, thr – kickout! The audience groan, and Jonny doesn’t have time to worry about it, because Fallen springs up, incensed, and hits his Soul Transfer. He also pins, and the crowd groans again; one, two thr – NO! Jonny just won’t quit, and Fallen’s jaw drops……and something snaps inside. The ref is very close by, and as the two men stagger back up Fallen goes for a clothesline, but “mistakenly” takes down the referee as well as Jonny. The crowd smells a big rat and boos loudly as Fallen slides out to get the title belt, but no one’s expecting what happens next. The black – clad figure with startling crimson hair is in the ring before anyone can see where he’s come from; he hits Jonny with a jumping powerbomb and then slides out of the ring, not even looking at what Fallen is doing. Fallen himself gets back to the ring with the belt just in time to see the figure hurrying away; the ref is stirring, and Fallen drops the belt and covers Jonny just as the groggy ref looks in his direction. The ref, unaware of what’s happened in the few seconds he was out, makes the 1-2-3 count and the bell rings as the crowd makes its feelings known.
Philip: Here is your winner…..and still ACW Junior Champion, FallenSouls!
The dark – clad figure is now gone from the arena; The crowd is booing the stranger’s critical interference, and as the referee hands Fallen’s belt back to him, Fallen does not celebrate his win at all. Instead he hesitates, looking down at Jonny and then back to the belt in his hands, and then silently he places the belt on the unconscious Jonny’s chest. The crowd becomes much quieter; they do not know what is going on, and they are left none the wiser as Fallen leaves the ring and heads to the back, paying no attention to anything around him. Jonny is coming around by the time the EMTs arrive to check him over; the crowd applauds as he stands back up, but Jonny is left confused as he holds the title belt in his hands. Unsure what to do, Jonny gives the belt to the referee, and as he is escorted backstage the ref takes the belt to Ginger’s office for safekeeping until Fallen’s strange behaviour can be explained.

Segment: A title’s worth (Credit: TNT)
TNT is shown backstage as Kevin Anderson is about to interview him.
TNT takes a sip of his water from under his hooded jacket and pours all the water on Anderson.
Anderson: What the.....!
TNT: Ah, Shut up, Jackass. Its time!! Its time for T-N-T!! to beat the hell out of that punk kid Jakie, whose leg was supposedly messed up. I should've known, I broke all those bones inside that knee, and I'll tell ya...it felt good. And maybe tonight, I won't be just Lightweight Champion, I might be ACW World Champion, no, Not Alpha Championship Wrestling, but American-Championship-Wrestling, I mean, what is Alphacw when here it’s not the big time. I'll Tell ya the Big Time...American Championship Wrestling. So you might wanna tune in to me beating the hell outta Jakie in that 15 foot steel cage, and me regaining this title, but this title is pathetic, I might just want to toss it in the trash as I leave. But I guarantee you that you will see a Side of T-N-T that no one will ever see. What is Jakie gonna do? A few flying tricks? I'm the Real Fucking Deal, I can do it all! Techinical!, Martial Arts with these Silver Feet, and even some high Flying, so Jakie, you're in for it, once I R-K-O you for the last time, and I won't have to see your lil 5 foot nothing orangatang ass all over here....
TNT stalks off, leaving the crowd to wonder what the hell he’s on about, and the scene fades out.

Segment: The Stipulation (Credit: Kain)
The ring is being prepared for the next match; but the lights dim as the music of “Slow Chemical” plays followed by a pyro explosion on the stage.
Kain emerges with his entertainment title on his shoulder as he heads down the ramp and heads towards the ring. On arrival, Kain steps over the top rope and asks for a microphone from the ring attendant
Kain stands in the centre of the ring with microphone in hand.
Kain: You all know why I am here, I'm here to name the stipulation for my title defence here tonight at Hellbound Heart. But before I name my stipulation I have something to say concerning the match between myself and DareDevil's representative wrestlers on Warfare.
Kain beckons the camera just a little closer.
Kain: WillAnger, I tried to help you with your match and what do I get? Turned on by my own representative, with you attacking ME with a steel chair!
The crowd cheers.
Kain: Who in the hell do you think you are, I'm the Entertainment champion! You had better respect me before I beat the respect into you, boy.
Crowd Boos.
Kain: After Hellbound Heart, whether I win or lose I want you in a hardcore match, then we'll see how you like being beaten with a steel chair, I won't just beat you I will destroy you!
A mix of boos and cheers comes from the crowd.
Kain: Now, back to my stipulation. After my representative won I have been thinking long and hard on the stipulation for my title defense and I couldn't think of anything better than a good old fashioned....
There’s a long pause while Kain looks around the arena.
Kain: Ladder match!
The crowd cheers as Kain drops the mic and leaves the arena with his entertainment title held high and an evil smirk on his face.

Segment: Motivational Words (Credit: Pilko)
We are shown a locker room backstage, where Sgt. Pilko is lifting some weights. He looks tired and fatigued, and stops to catch his breath.
Voice: Don't stop! Keep going!
Pilko: Come on, sir, that's 100 reps with that weight
Voice: Yeah, but you have to train harder. When I was young and still wrestling, I was doing 100 reps with 100 lbs all the time, no problem! And do you know where that got me?
Pilko: Yeah, yeah. 4 times World Champion
Voice: And that's not all! It got me respect. That's what it got me, and that led on to bigger and better things.
Pilko: Like...?
This mysterious man goes up to Pilko's ear and whispers something into it. Pilko suddenly turns white and his expression suddenly turns into joy.
Pilko: Really? No shit!
Voice: Now, calm down Pilko. Your match is up soon.
Pilko then picks up the weights again, but obviously has taken heed of what the trainer has just said, and is working with a new intensity as the scene fades out.

Match 2: Predator Vs. Pilko Vs. 004 Vs. Brian Carnage - #1 Contender Match for the ACW Entertainment Title (Credit: Latino)
The first match has set the bar high for the rest of the roster, but ACW has a tendency to deliver surprises by the bucketload, and the upcoming match is no exception.
Phillip: This next match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Number One Contendership for the ACW Entertainment Title! Coming to the ring from parts unknown…Will Anger!
TAKA Michinoku’s WWF theme starts playing as Will Anger comes out from the backstage, taking the spot vacated by 004. He holds his arms out in pride but the fans are not yet 100% sure of him, so the reaction is muted. He enters the ring through the top and second ropes.
Phillip: Coming to the ring, the second challenger….Brian Carnage!
Open your Eyes by Guano Apes starts playing as Brian Carnage comes to the ring. The fans in attendance give Carnage a huge pop as he rolls inside the ring pumped up for the night’s events.
Phillip: Coming to the ring, the former Entertainment Champion……Predator!
Stay Together For The Kids By Blink 182 starts playing throughout the ACW arena as Predator comes out to the ring. Fans in the front row hold up signs that say “Predator = Loser Champ” but he keeps walking on paying no attention. He steps over the top rope staring at the other three men in the ring.
Phillip: And coming to the ring the final competitor in this match up…..Sgt. Pilko!”
The theme from “Assualt on Precinct 13” starts playing as Pilko walks down to the ring. He towers over many of fans as he climbs the steps. The other three men look at him, outwardly confident but inwardly somewhat nervous.
Philip: The rules for this match are as follows-
Philip is cut short as “Doll-Daga Buzz-Buzz Ziggety Zag” by Marilyn Manson hits and 004 enters with his hand to his ear while camera catches him mouthing "What was that Philip?" But at the same time, the titantron turns on showing Commissioner Gingerdude talking with two security guards.
Security Guard 1: What do you want us to do Mr. Gingerdude?
Gingerdude: Let's see how it ends up going... if he wins tonight, I'll take care of it myself. But if he loses, escort him at once out of my building.
Security Guard 2: Gotcha.
The security guards leave.
Gingerdude: Now this is going to be interesting....
All five men are now in the ring and stay in their respective corners (004 has to make do with one side of the ring, having turned up unannounced). The ref explains the rules but no one really seems to listen. Each man has their own agenda in this match. Predator the former champion, WillAnger finally receiving his match against Pilko, 004 deciding to take one more chance at a title shot, and Pilko and Carnage, two men who will stop at nothing to gain some recognition. The bell finally rings, breaking each man away from his own subconscious thoughts.
Bell Rings.
All the men stay still at first and eye one another, each one unsure who should make the first move. The fans starting chanting Carnage’s and 004’s names loudly as the rest of the heels look around in disgust. Predator and Pilko rush toward Carnage but he ducks their attacks quickly, only to be dropkicked in the face by quickness of WillAnger. WillAnger quickly goes for the pin but Pilko breaks it before the referee can start his count. Anger and Pilko both look at each other anger building up between the two. Anger throws a punch at the stomach of Pilko and then one to the face. Pilko gets taken aback until Predator comes flying from the ropes with a spear sending Pilko to the outside mats; 004, who has tried to stay clear of the initial ruckus, gets taken down by mistake and also falls out of the ring. Predator stands up looking down at the fallen giant; he sees that 004 is going to work on Pilko, so he turns back to the action in the ring. He directs his attention at Anger and starts striking him with a forearm to the back. Anger strikes back and then both men keep fighting back and forth neither man giving up. While the two men are fighting Carnage slowly gets up making his way towards the turnbuckles. He climbs it as the fans start cheering, no one too sure as to what he is going to do. He measures his distance between himself and the two fighting men and jumps off from the turnbuckle with a corkscrew moonsault. All three men come into contact as the bodies collide in the ring. The referee starts his count to ten as neither man makes his move to get up. The fans start chanting again “Carnage! Carnage!”.

On the outside, Pilko has temporarily taken down 004 and notices all three men are down for the count. The camera just about catches his smile as he climbs inside the ring. He walks slowly looking at all three of his opponents taking his pick as to who to attack first. He starts stomping on Predator in the stomach and face until he finishes it with a swift quick to the face. Pilko grins, but a roar from the fans draws his attention to the other side of the ring, where 004 is pinning Carnage; Pilko rushes over and breaks it up. Pilko turns his direction toward Anger as he is slowly moving around. He goes to stomp into the fallen body but Will quickly rolls out of the way. He sweeps his legs around tripping Pilko in the same process knocking back onto the mat. He backs away towards the ropes as Pilko gets back up angrier than ever; elsewhere, 004 hits a smart powerbomb on Predator, but a revived Carnage hasn’t forgiven him for the pin attempt and hits him with his Whisper in the wind. The camera turns back to Pilko; the Seargent runs towards his opponent with a big boot but Anger ducks again for the second time tonight causing the big giant to get caught in the ropes. Carnage gets up after dropkicking Predator and sees what position Pilko is in.
Both Anger and Carnage run towards the ropes opposite Pilko and give him a clothesline sending him to the outside mats hard. Anger looks around and quickly runs towards the turnbuckle and climbs it all in one motion. He stops as he makes it to the top looks behind him and performs a moonsault off the top turnbuckle towards Pilko. Both bodies collide and neither man can stand up. Carnage himself now climbs the turnbuckle and starts walking the ropes. He’s about level with the two men on the outside when 004 dives past him and splashes down on to the pile; Carnage raises an eyebrow, and then is even more amazed when Predator gets in on the act, doing the exact same thing. Carnage shrugs, raises his arms to the crowd and then hits a diving elbow drop on to the heap; Carnage gets back up, full of a rush of adrenaline as the fans are going crazy screaming his name once more. He rolls inside the ring and stands up, waiting for someone to come and join him; Predator is the first to recover and he too re – enters the ring. Both men stare at each other from the opposite sides of the ring. A look of fury and excitement is seen in the eyes of Carnage that no man has seen before. Predator sees this too and seems just a little afraid at this look from his opponent. The two men walk towards each other as the fans are cheering loudly more and more for Carnage.
Both men lock up in a grapple until Carnage is sent across the ring towards the turnbuckle. Predator looks at his opponent smiling. Carnage gets back up holding on to the turnbuckle. He jumps on them and dives back with a moonsault. Predator gets out of the way quickly and Carnage lands on his feet; in the background, Pilko is giving 004 and Anger a double chokeslam on the outside. But it backfires; as Pilko taunts the crowd, Anger and 004 get up, look at one another, and hit Pilko with a perfect double suplex. 004 and Anger face each other and lock up; back in the ring, Carnage gives Predator a Dragonwhip to the face knocking Predator down to the mat. Brian runs up the turnbuckle and gives his opponent a Swanton Bomb. He goes for the pin but Predator kicks out at two. Predator is Irish Whipped to the turnbuckle by Brian and then positioned on the top turnbuckle. The two men are standing on top as Brian goes for the Carnage Buster but Predator counters it by holding him up slightly in a powerbombing position. He lifts up Carnage up a little and grins…but the party’s spoiled as 004jumps up behind him and dropkicks Predator off of the post. Predator and Carnage land hard on the mats; 004 makes his move and lifts up Carnage before hurling him out of the ring, taking down WillAnger as he tries to re – enter and get in on the match again. Carnage and Anger scramble to stop 004 hitting his German Piledriver on Predator, but a furious Pilko pulls them back, unaware of what’s happening in the ring. Predator tries to get free, but 004 delivers the move successfully, and none of the other 3 men can make it back to the ring in time to stop him getting the 1-2-3 count.
Phillip: Here is your winner and NEW #1 Contender for the Entertainment Title – Double Oh Four!
The fans are more than with this result, and they cheer 004 loudly as his music plays. Predator is furious and shouts at 004, but he’s not foolish enough to attempt a beatdown in plain sight of the match officials. 004 celebrates in the ring as the others leave, a little sorer and wiser; but will Ginger allow him to keep his title shot, given his behaviour on Warfare? The fans and everyone else in ACW will have to wait to find out, and the show goes to commercials.

Segment: The enemies within
The scene is a part of the arena we see very little of; it’s an outside shot, and a rather grimy side door to the building can be seen, illuminated by a single dim lamp. Then brighter lights appear in the darkness, and their intensity builds until the taxi cab pulls up next to the door. Voices can be heard inside the vehicle.
Female Voice: Are you absolutely sure this is the right place?
Male voice: Yeah, my instructions were that you were here to surprise someone so they were bringing you in from the side entrance. It’s all here on this note….look if you don’t believe me.
A few moments pass, and then the back door of the cab opens. A figure steps out, and the camera swings around to get a better view.
The woman is tall, toned and very beautiful; her mocha skin contrasts with her honey – gold hair, and her clothing is up – to – the – minute stylish. She looks around her and pouts; there’s no – one else around and no other entrance in sight, so she walks to the door and pulls it open, wrinkling her nose a little in disgust as she gets a little dirt under her immaculately manicured nails. The woman walks into the hallway; all is quiet and still, and she seems just a little on edge as her high heels clack on the concrete floor.
Woman: Hello……Hey, is there anybody here?
Her voice echoes along the corridor; no response.
Woman: I said, is there anyone about in this DUMP?
The sharp tone of the woman’s voice is amplified by the bare walls; the sound bounces around, and just then she sees a shadow move further along the corridor.
Woman: Is someone there?
The shadow moves again; this time it recedes around a corner, and now light footfalls can be heard moving away from the visitor.
Woman: Hey, come back here! Don’t you walk away from me!
Flushed with annoyance, the woman follows; as she rounds the corner the shadow is just disappearing around another. Too self assured to wonder whether this is a good idea, the woman follows, through the hallways, until she abruptly comes upon a plain, windowless door, which is just closing in the wake of another person. The woman pauses, but upon hearing sound from the room she walks up to the door and flings it open. It bangs on the wall; the room is utterly dark, and the woman hesitates on the threshold. She feels the inside wall for a light switch, but there isn’t one. Angrily, the woman folds her arms.
Woman: All right, I know someone is in here. Stop playing these stupid games and come out, I have to get to the main auditorium.
Everything’s quiet again. The woman glares into the darkness, and then flips her hair.
Woman: Fine. I’ll find my own-
Voice (cutting her off): I think you’re the one who’s been playing around, Jasmine. Won’t you come in?
The audience recognises Alicia’s voice at once; it takes Jasmine a few moments to make the connection, but she’s no idiot.
Jasmine: Oh, I get it. This is supposed to be some kind of revenge plot, right? Well frankly, it sucks. I’m out of here.
Jasmine turns to walk away, only to see the lights in the corridor going out one by one, slowly isolating her.
AK: I believe you’ll find that the doors are locked, Jasmine, even if you could find one. So you have a choice; you can come in here, and we can talk….or I can come out there and get you.
From within the room, there’s the distinct sound of metal being scraped upon metal, and Jasmine can’t stop all sorts of nasty possibilities leaping into her head. There’s now only the one single light on, directly above her position, and she shudders.
AK: Oh, that’s right….you don’t like the dark, do you Jasmine? The owner of the motel did say that you kept the light on all through the night. I guess you had to settle for a normal one, you left your red bulbs at home this time….
Jasmine: You bitch! I’ll-
She’s stepped through the door without realising it. It slams behind her, and the camera shot in the corridor suddenly cuts to a brand new angle of a distinct kind. The ultra-violet camera is the same kind that is used to film nocturnal wildlife; although everything has a strange green tinge, the room and its occupants are clearly visible. Jasmine is pressed back against the door, her body language showing her fear; there is a small table and a chair in the room, along with what looks like another camera on the table, and AK is leaning up against the wall, to her “guest’s” left. Her clothing is tight fitting and very dark, allowing her to move softly and undetected around the room. But for now she stays where she is, and turns on a small pocket flashlight. A second, normal camera takes over; the flashlight’s thin beam shows Jasmine, who quickly resumes a more normal posture, but very little else.

AK: Jasmine, we can make this as easy or as hard as you want. All I’m looking for is the truth…..I want to know how you came to be in contact with Victor, where you met him, and how long this has been going on.
Jasmine: Forget it. I don’t have to tell you anything.
AK: That’s true, you don’t. But I think you will, love, I think you will.
Jasmine: And what makes you so sure of that? You think you can intimidate me because you pretend to hit men for a living?
AK laughs; it’s a strange, slightly scornful sound.
AK: Oh my dear, I never pretend to hit anybody. Trust me, if I wanted to ruin those chiselled features I could have done it in any one of a thousand ways. But that really would be a waste of my time…..you’re more than capable of destroying yourself while I sit back and watch it happen.
The audience is confused; Jasmine is maintaining her aloof air, but the rapid movement of her eyes shows that she’s under considerable stress.
Jasmine: Talk all you want, words can’t hurt me. I know you’ve got a camera on this somewhere, and I won’t incriminate myself. Now give me that-
Jasmine makes a sudden grab for the flashlight; AK slips aside and turns it off, and there’s a little cry of alarm from Jasmine. The night vision kicks back in; Jasmine’s posture is frozen, and her pupils dilate and rove as she tries to find something to latch on to in the darkness. The audience can see AK walking slowly around Jasmine, just a couple of feet away.
AK: You know, Jasmine, when I was a very little girl, I used to be afraid of the dark too.
AK’s voice has altered; it rises and falls, like waves on a beach, and those listening start to feel very slightly….different.
AK: But my mother told me something, a special secret that her father told her, and his mother before him; she said that only bad people needed to be afraid of the darkness. Do you know why that should be so?
Jasmine makes another blind lunge, but misses by a wide margin; her movements are becoming more uncontrolled.
AK: She told me that, in the light, your misdeeds stay buried within you….but when the light is gone, it’s safe for them to come out. Little things, they don’t get very far, but big, vicious, horrible things….they won’t stay hidden, they want to escape. And when they try to escape, you can feel them……
AK moves closer to Jasmine, and extends an arm; the shot isn’t clear enough to see what’s in her hand, but it looks like a couple of ordinary pins. The prick is nothing more than that, but Jasmine jumps back like a scalded cat. AK follows and does it again; she doesn’t appear to have any low – light goggles, and somehow seems to be doing everything purely on the basis of what she can hear and feel.

AK: Can you feel them yet, Jasmine? Writhing, squirming, biting, chewing….they’re like cockroaches, under your skin, and they want to get out, but they can’t….so they just keep trying, and with every little bite they’re eating at you from the inside.
Jasmine is flailing wildly now; she’s desperately trying to catch AK in the act, doing what her rational brain is saying she must be doing….but AK is too quick, and with every second Jasmine’s fear is getting more powerful. But she’s not overcome yet; she stops, holds her head, and shouts.
Jasmine: NO! This is all a load of crap! There’s nothing here, nothing…..
The little flashlight flares back into life, and the cameras switch again; AK is standing on the opposite side of the room from Jasmine, training the flashlight on her.
AK: You think I’m making this up? Are you calling my mother a liar? Then face me, Jasmine, and tell me that you haven’t done anything; I’ll turn this light on myself, so you can see that I’m not making anything happen, and you stand there in the dark and prove it.
The two women’s eyes are locked together; Jasmine either won’t or can’t shift her gaze. Very slowly, AK turns the beam around; it shines upward, illuminating her face and casting long shadows; yet somehow, her eyes in anything seem much brighter than before.
AK: TELL ME, JASMINE.
There’s silence, and then without warning a howl of….pain. Real pain. AK turns the flashlight back around quickly, and Jasmine is clutching her arm; there is unmistakable fear in her eyes.
Jasmine: What….how did you do…..
AK: You saw me, Jasmine, I have not laid one finger on you since you entered this building. Maybe you’re right, maybe it is all in my warped mind…..or perhaps, is it in yours?
The light cuts off, and after a second there’s another cry of anguish, followed by……
Jasmine: No..Nonononono….the light! For the love of god, the light-
The flashlight comes back on; AK has moved closer again, though still out of immediate reach.
AK: You’re doing this to yourself, Jasmine. You own transgressions are devouring you from within…..but you can save yourself, if you’re ready to talk to me.
Her voice is gentler now, offering a way out to the struggling Jasmine. But her love rival’s pride is still holding out.
Jasmine: Never, you twisted little bitch! I can handle this!
AK: Sure. Just keep telling yourself that, it won’t make the crawling, scuttling creatures or the pain they cause go away, I know you understand that. I can wait all night, my dear…..but I have no idea how much stress your body can take before something vital bursts in there, so this could get rather interesting.
AK twirls the flashlight and shuts it off; there is the briefest shot of her smiling with a dark amusement before the picture becomes totally black, not reverting to the ultra-violet cam this time, and Jasmine continues to scream as the show cuts out to commercials.
Meanwhile, backstage in the Demon Pit, Druids 1 to 3 are watching the show. As the commercials come on, none of them speaks, but after a few seconds Druid #1 can’t contain himself any longer.
Druid #1: CRAAAAAAWWWLLLLING IN MY SKIIIIIIIINNNN……..
Druid #2: You just couldn’t resist it, could you?
Druid #3: Well that’s a perfectly good psychological torture scene ruined.
Druid #2: Indeed.
