The ACW logo fades from the screen, and the opening shot is not a normal view of the arena; instead, a huge, open air stadium is revealed, packed to bursting with ecstatic fans. The shot is obviously coming from a camera perched high up at the stadium summit; it is a long, long way down from the lighting and plasma screen gantries that cross the top of the stadium down to the ring below. The gantries form a kind of cross, similar to that used by the Christian church; two long steel beams extend parallel with the entrance runway below, covered with lights; they have a low rail on either side to allow the technicians to walk along them with extreme care and the proper safety equipment. From the other 3 compass directions, shorter but similar metal beams reach across, so that they support the square central structure right above the ring. Here there is a wider metal walkway, with steel beams at each of the 4 corners that extend upward at an angle so that they all meet directly above the centre of the ring far below, making a kind of Egyptian Pyramid shape. The apex of the pyramid houses the winch gear for raising and lowering the steel cage, which hangs ready and waiting from the main structure, its top level with the walkway mesh and the whole cage is partly obscured by PPV banners, spotlights and such suspended below the main walkway. The main “square” which mirrors the ring in its width and depth is crossed by a metal and wire mesh bridge, which would allow a person standing on it to look through the wire down to the centre of the ring way below. To conceal the winch equipment and add to the glamour of the event, the pyramid top is boxed in with a 3 dimensional, multi – pointed silver star in polished steel and chrome that sparkles in the evening’s fading light; small cameras are also hidden here so that the show director can call up a panoramic view of the whole stadium for extra dramatic effect.
The shot changes to just such a sweeping pan of the arena, and then a circular shot from the ring itself; the fans cheer wildly as they see themselves on the arena screens. Then the shot changes again, to show the backstage areas, and everyone begins to settle down a little as the show proper gets underway.
In the parking lot, the shot reveals the Chairman standing just outside the building, as if awaiting someone’s arrival. This proves to be an accurate image as a long black limousine slides up to park alongside. The chairman’s face suggests that he is not exactly pleased to see the occupant of the vehicle, but he remains composed and forces a smile as the limo door opens.
Jeff Veasy steps out into the cool sunset air, and the fans cheer as he steps forward, smiling warmly as he shakes the Chairman’s hand.
WCW: Good evening, Mr Veasey……….so glad you could join us.
(WCW’s face reveals that he is anything but pleased to see CJayC.)
CJayC: Why thankyou WCW……..it’s good to finally make it to an event in person. I understand you will be gracing the ring yourself tonight?
WCW: That is correct.
CJayC: Quite a big match, isn’t it……….a very interesting stipulation you added, putting Gingerdude’s commissionership on the line.
CJayC’s tone is now considerably less friendly; WCW also begins to drop his pretentions of respect.
WCW: I’m well within my rights as Chairman Mr Veasey. This is my fed, and tonight I will take another step toward regaining full control over it.
CJayC: Hey, WCW, I wasn’t objecting to your stipulation; I know exactly what you can and can’t do here. But I also know exactly what I can and can’t do as well.
WCW looks just a little nervous as CJayC goes on.
CJayC: I can’t remove your stipulation, WCW, but I can add one of my own. And I think that since Ginger has to put his position on the line, you should have something to lose too.
WCW: Pah, there’s nothing you can do to me Ceejus, I’ve checked it all thoroughly.
CJayC: Not to you directly, no. But this isn’t about you, WCW, believe it or not. This is about the role of Commissioner. Currently I have a representative, and you have yours.
WCW (starting to understand): You don’t mean…..
CJayC: I do. I have the stipulation here, signed off by the rest of the board……..if Ginger’s team loses tonight, he stops being a commissioner. But if your team loses, the same fate will befall your Commissioner – RDK.
WCW is boiling with rage, mixed with fear of what will happen when he has to break the news to RDK himself. CJayC gives a dazzling smile.
CJayC: Goodness, look at the time! The first match will be getting started any minute! I’d better get to my seat……front row, of course.
WCW (regaining his cool): Of course. I want you to have the best view in the house when my team annihilates Ginger’s group of losers.
CJayC: We’ll see WCW, we’ll see.
With that, CJayC sweeps past WCW and goes into the building; WCW’s expression is a mix of loathing and anger as the scene fades out.

Match 1: Junior Title Gauntlet
The crowd is impatient for the show to get fully underway, so they give Philip a surprisingly loud cheer as he steps into the ring for the first time that evening. He smiles and gives a shy wave in response before getting on with his appointed task.
Philip: Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Seven Deadly Sins!
Another big cheer before Philip can continue.
Philip: The first match tonight is a Gauntlet match, and it is for the ACW Junior Title! 2 superstars will begin the match, and they will fight until one person is eliminated via pinfall or submission. That person will then be replaced with a new entrant, who will fight the victor of the previous round…..we will continue in this manner until all the participants have entered the match, with the winner of the final round being declared the winner and Junior Title holder.
”I am” hits, and everyone turns to the arena entrance as they await the arrival of the first superstar of the evening.
Philip: Entering first……from Greenock, Scotland…the defending Junior Title Holder – Jack Fury!
Fury enters the stadium to a blaze of blue and white pyros on the stage; he pauses a second to take in the atmosphere of the huge crowd before heading down to the ring, title belt on his shoulder. The crowd give him a typical heel reaction, but all Jack’s interest is focused on the massive task ahead of him. He enters the ring and waits for the first of 5 possible opponents to come forward.
Philip: And entrant number 2………Radobar!
Hysteria by Muse hits, and there are big cheers for Radobar as he enters and approaches the ring; if he is annoyed at having been drawn 2nd in the entry list he does not let it show. Rather he hops up into the ring and briefly salutes the crowd before turning his attention to his opponent. The referee checks with the ringside staff and hands the title belt out of the ring, and the crowd noise rises in anticipation as the first match of the PPV kicks off.
Bell Rings.
Radobar doesn’t hang about; he comes forward straight away and locks up with Jack. The pair grapple and Jack loses his footing, allowing Radobar to throw him down; Radobar aims a few kicks at his opponent’s torso before dropping on to Jack’s arm and shoulder. Jack winces at the blow but quickly pushes Radobar away and gets back to his feet. Jack is not amused by Radobar’s confident start, and he lets his powerful fists do the talking, forcing Radobar back into the corner to trap him. Radobar tries to block but Jack is too powerful; Jack scoops up Radobar and carries him a little way before landing a Samoan Drop in the centre of the ring. Jack pins, and gets a count of 2 before Radobar extracts himself. Radobar is not ready to give up and he battle back, taking care to dodge Jack most powerful blows until he can get in close and lock up; the pair grapple until Radobar finally is able to hit his trademark hammerlock DDT. Jack is driven into the mat and Radobar goes for a cover of his own; Jack stays down until almost 3, but it is evident that he is merely trying his best to conserve all the energy he can to try and last the distance. Jack decides that he cannot afford to let any one battle drag on, especially the first, and he breaks out his more powerful moves; Radobar receives a big boot as he tries a running attack, and Jack completes the combination with a shining wizard. Radobar’s head spins, and he is unable to break out of Jack’s pinning hold before the referee counts to 3.
Philip: Radobar has been eliminated!
Radobar rolls out of the ring, obviously disappointed; he begins to make his way up the ramp and is passed by Spike Machinko, flying down to the ring as “Within My Hands” plays to try and catch Jack before he is fully prepared for round 2.

Spike slides into the ring, but his strategy fails as Jack thunders across and stamps down on his back and spine with as much venom as he can muster. Spike takes quite a bit of punishment before he is able to get to his feet, and as soon as he does so he receives a powerbomb for his trouble. Jack makes a cover, but Spike is determined not to be seen to be a soft touch, and he throws an arm up at 2 before slipping away from Jack’s grasp. Spike slides out of the ring and Jack follows, keen to put his 2nd opponent away as quickly as possible; he follows Spike around to the steel steps and there catches him, intending to throw him into the metal stairs. This however is also Spike’s plan, and he reverses Jack’s whip so that the champ crashes into the steps and bounces off with a bang. Spike runs forward, springs off of the steps and drops down on top of Jack, connecting with his neck; Jack gives a grunt of pain and Spike “helps” him back into the ring before making a pin. Unfortunately for Spike he neglects to move Jack away from the side of the ring, and the referee sees Fury put his foot on the ropes. The count is stopped at 2, and Spike curses under his breath as he tries to drag Jack back to the centre of the ring; as he does so however Jack suddenly rolls back to his feet, grabs on to Spike and whips him against the ropes before giving him a huge clothesline from hell. Spike’s head is almost knocked clean off his shoulders, and again Jack is able to hold down his smaller opponent just long enough to be awarded the 3 count and eliminate him from the match.
Philip: Spike Machinko has been eliminated!
Spike rolls out of the ring and on to the floor; the crowd cheers his efforts but their mood becomes less friendly as the Masked Assassin stalks to the ring. Both Assassin and Fury have somewhat arrogant natures, and they regard one another with disdain before engaging in battle for round 3.
Assassin is another lightweight in comparison with Fury, but he has taken on and defeated power wrestlers in the past and he has no hesitation in attacking Jack, rushing in with a foot – first tackle that chops Fury’s feet from under him. Assassin knows he cannot match Fury’s power, so instead he locks on a sleeper hold and compresses with all his might. Jack slowly stands back up, but it is evident that he is suffering as the move takes effect; he tries to pry Assassin off but his opponent stays in position, limpet – like in his determination. Jack sinks back down to his knees and his shoulders begin to sag; the referee comes in for a closer look, and he raises Jack’s limp arm, which falls back to his side. The referee tries again and the same result occurs; Assassin grins and the referee raises Jack’s hand a final time. However before the referee has even finished raising the arm, Jack suddenly springs back into life and grabs Assassin, throwing him off and down to the mat. Assassin’s eye blaze with anger as he realises that Jack was playing possum, and now he has to urgently retreat as Jack goes on the offensive. Assassin dodges punch after punch, but Jack is now getting wise to this trick; he pretends to miss with a heavy blow, and then when Assassin takes the chance to retaliate with a kick he catches him by the foot and swings around like a hammer thrower, wrenching Assassin off his feet and hurling him out through the ring ropes. Jack steps out through the ropes on to the apron, and produces one of his more rarely seen moves; he slingshots from the ropes into a legdrop on to Assassin’s head, and there is an audible cry from those at the front at the force of the impact. Jack rolls Assassin into the ring and finishes the job with a suplex into float – over pin, earning his 3rd 3 count on the trot and gaining a modicum of respect for his endurance, despite his heel status.
Philip: Masked Assassin has been eliminated!
Jack pushes Assassin out of the ring and waits; “Sex Type Thing” by Stone Temple Pilots hits and Dream comes forward nervously, slowly approaching the ring.
She stops just short and seems very reluctant to enter; the referee comes to the ropes to speak to her and the two argue, Dream actually looking close to tears. Jack smirks, but his mood is quickly made worse as from the crowd comes PDogg, armed with a set of brass knuckles; Jack defends himself with his triple – h style punching, but PDogg only has to land 2 or 3 weapon blows before Jack starts to get dizzy. The crowd is roaring with excitement as the 2 heels battle, which mysteriously is completely ignored by the ref; PDogg finally gets Jack stunned enough to hit his PDG and Jack is laid out flat. PDogg melts away and Dream instantly gets over her stage fright, rocketing into the ring and almost knocking the referee over in her rush to cover; the ref doesn’t question the cause of Jack’s fainting fit, but instead starts to count 1 – 2….Dream is sure her scheme has worked, but just before 3 Fury throws his arm in the air, then sits up and grabs Dream by the hair before she can get away. Fury looks at her and wags a finger before standing back up; Dream twists about to try and escape but Jack is too strong and he knows not to be fooled by her “don’t hurt me, I’m a girl” routine. Jack whips her into the corner and crushes her with a stinger splash; Dream crumples, and it is a simple matter for Jack to utilise his Fury Effect (evenflow DDT) to put Dream into dreamland and cover for the 1-2-3.
Philip: Dream has been eliminated!
Jack stands up and stretches his limbs; for him, all that has passed so far in the match has been a necessary annoyance – the real contest is about to begin. The haunting tones of Vater Unser fill the stadium, and soft light plays across the audience as Michael Kross steps out on to the stage, gesturing in a gentle but uplifting manner as if to bless all those in attendance at his “church”. Kross is unhurried as he comes down to the ring, and he slowly removes his grey cloak at ringside before climbing the stairs to the ring. Fury waits equally patiently, and they consider one another silently for a few seconds before Jack comes forward to finish the task set for him by Commissioner Ginger.

Kross and Fury pace around; Kross tries to gauge how worn Fury has become from his previous encounters, but Fury does an excellent job of concealing his true level of fatigue. Kross makes the first move, running in and clotheslining Fury; he is not powerful enough to floor his opponent completely, but Fury staggers back a couple of paces before dropping to his knees. Kross continues on to the ropes for a second catapult, and this time smashes his forearm against the back of Jack’s head, sending Jack to the mat. With Jack face down, Kross applies an STF (stepover toehold with facelock), but Jack recognises the danger and wrenches himself free almost immediately. Kross does not lose his momentum and goes for a whip to the corner, but Jack reverses the move and Kross is sent flying against the turnbuckle. Fury moves in and Kross retreats up the post to stand on top; Jack tries to grab him but Kross stamps down on his head before crouching and spinning his opponent to face back into the ring. Kross drops on to Fury’s shoulder’s and he falls forward to execute a victory roll; Jack is held in place until just before the 3 count, when he manages to break free of the pin and get his shoulders off the mat. The crowd is inspired by Kross’ refusal to be daunted by Jack, and they yell and cheer for him as the two men rise back to a standing position.
Fury is indeed tiring, but he realises that his much smaller opponent does not yet have the endurance of many of the more established names on the roster. Kross comes in for another running attack, but Fury starts to use Kross’ tactics to his own advantage and he counters with a Yakuza Kick so that Kross’ speed actually does him extra damage. Fury lifts up Kross and lands a DVD, then immediately follows up by applying his favoured Texas Cloverleaf hold. Jack’s massive power puts a great deal of pressure on Kross, who grits his teeth and tries to will the pain away; Kross is very determined, but he wastes time before going for the ropes and Fury is able to quietly take in oxygen and reduce the buildup of lactic acid in his muscles, while all the time the reverse is afflicting Kross. Eventually Kross manages to get a hand to the bottom rope, and Fury releases the hold as instructed by the referee; he is ready and waiting as Kross uses the ropes to pull himself back up to his feet. Fury is ready to end the match, but Kross has other ideas; as Fury tries to take hold of his opponent Kross pushes back the pain in his limbs and catches Fury out with a standing dropkick to the chest. Fury falls backward and Kross rolls his opponent up, but Fury breaks free at 2.5. Kross now believes he has a chance for victory, and the crowd cheers as he swiftly climbs the turnbuckle; Fury follows, and Kross grabs him for a tornado DDT. Fury however has a counter ready; before Kross can launch himself, Fury jumps to get his feet on the second rope and instantly lifts Kross up to hit an awesome superplex. Kross reels from the impact, and Fury needs no further prompting; he grins at the crowd’s boos and yells, and crushes the hopes of Kross and of his supporters with a Fury Bomb in the centre of the ring. Kross has no reply and Jack makes a straightforward pin for the 1-2-3 count.
Philip: Here is your winner……and still the Junior Title Holder……….Jack Fury!
Fury stands up and looks down at Kross; the referee hands his belt back to him, and Fury stalks around the ring, displaying it to the fans defiantly as they boo and yell. As Jack walks back up the ramp, Kross picks himself off the mat and the crowd cheers for him; he looks disappointed at the loss, but he acknowledges the crowd for their support, and it is clear as he leaves the ring that his prospects for the future in ACW are indeed bright.

Segment: Making your mind up
In the locker rooms, Latino has just arrived at the venue and is starting to get his wrestling kit out of his bag. As he does this, there is a knock at the door and his friend Quimby enters.
Quimby: Hey esse, just thought I’d see how you were before the big match tonight.
Latino doesn’t turn to look at him straight away; he seems to be thinking deeply about something.
Latino: I’m OK holmes.
Latino is unusually quiet; Quimby looks concerned.
Quimby: Look man, I know you’ve been through a lot lately…<br> With frightening speed, Latino spins to face Quimby properly, his face flushed with just barely controlled anger.
Latino: Don’t try to patronise me, holmes! You have absolutely no idea what I’ve endured, the nighmares that won’t leave me even during the daylight hours!
Quimby (seriously freaked): Whoa, chill esse! I didn’t mean to upset you! Jesus!
Latino seems to relax a little, as if snapping out of a trance; he sees the look on his friend’s face and he slumps down on to the bench, looking very pale and resting his head on his hand.
Latino: God Quimby, I’m sorry……..I had no right to do that. Sometimes lately it’s as if I’m not completely in control…..I say things, do things, without realising what I’ve done until it’s too late.
Latino pauses, and there is silence for a few moments.
Latino: Esse, I’m worried…….no, dammit I’m frightened.
Quimby: Holmes, you have to go up against Ridley tonight…….you’d be stupid not to be at least a little nervous.
Latino: No, it’s not like that…….I’m not afraid of Ridley, even though I know what he’s capable of…….I’m afraid of…..me. What I might do if I have to face him……..holmes, what if I can’t control myself? When I was fighting Rose on Warfare, when things were at their most intense, I saw her….and all I wanted to do was…….
Another pause; Latino wrings his hands, an outward sign of his inner conflict….
Latino: Esse, for just a moment, I seriously wanted her dead.
Quimby listens silently to his long time friend, and then sits down next to him.
Quimby: So what you’re really asking is, “am I turning into the thing I hate the most?”<br> Latino looks at Quimby; his best pal has articulated the poison root at the heart of his anguish.
Quimby: I don’t think so Esse. You’re not like Ridley, because when all is said and done, you don’t enjoy inflicting pain the way he does. You’re a good man holmes, you have your faults and weaknesses like all of us…….but I don’t believe you have a truly evil molecule in your body.
Quimby smiles, and Latino looks a little happier.
Quimby: Remember esse, tonight you’re not fighting for yourself, you’re fighting for the greater good. Don’t let this become personal.
Latino nods, and Quimby stands and walks over to the door. As he opens it to go out, Latino has one final thought:
Latino: Esse, do you think that a person, a human, can ever be 100% good or evil?
Quimby thinks a little before answering.
Quimby: Honestly esse, I don’t know. But I do think that, whatever we’ve done in the past we all still have the choice between the two……..the door to each path is never closed to us. The one option that we don’t have……..is not to choose.
Quimby closes the door, and the scene fades out.

Match 2: Yoko vs GWD - Chain match
The audience’s interest is piqued as the backstage staff bring out the equipment for the second match; the black metal chain is about 6 feet long, and in the centre a second section of chain, about 1 ½ feet in length, is loosely attached with twine. At the free end of the shorter chain is a heavy – looking metal sphere, and the referee weighs it thoughtfully in his hand as he checks the chain for imperfections.
Philip: This match is scheduled for one fall, and is a “Chain Match”. The participants will have one wrist attached to an end of the chain and they must maintain this attachment throughout the contest. The metal sphere on the shorter chain may be used by whoever can detach it from the longer section, in any way that they see fit; the winner will be determined as usual by pinfall or submission, and all other standard match rules will apply.
One of a Kind by Breaking Point hits, and the crowd reacts with boos and jeers as GWD strides out into the stadium, confident that he can pick up a win over the person he has taken delight in tormenting since her arrival in ACW.
Philip: Now entering the arena, from Staunton Va,…………….GWD!
GWD doesn’t waste time in getting to the ring, and he stands still as the referee uses the handcuff – style attachment on one end of the chain to fix it to his wrist.
Then “Flower of Carnage” kicks off on the sound system, and Yoko emerges into the heat of the arena; she is clearly just a little overawed by the sight of so many people, but she smiles and waves as she approaches the ring.
Philip: And his opponent, from Okinawa Japan………..Yoko Satoshi!
Yoko steps into the ring as Philip holds the rope for her, and she flutters her eyelids playfully at him, making the young announcer blush. The referee locks Yoko’s wrist into the clamp at the free end of the chain, and asks the two wrestlers to step apart so that the chain is fully extended. The referee has a final look at the setup, and then gives the all clear to the timekeeper for the match to start.
Bell Rings.
GWD and Yoko circle, keeping the chain between them taut; Yoko makes a quick grab for the ball and chain, but GWD is ready and he also comes forward, belting her around the head and knocking her to the ground. GWD grabs the shorter chain and tries to pull it free, but Yoko picks herself up and runs away from GWD – the chain snaps tight and GWD is pulled off of his feet to land hard on the mat. Yoko doubles back and clasps her hands together before dropping on to GWD’s chest; she stays down for a cover but GWD shoves her away well before 2. Both participants get back up and GWD decides to stick with conventional tactics; he moves in on Yoko and lays down a few blows before hitting a DDT that has the added effect of landing his opponent on part of the chain draped across the mat. GWD makes a quick pin, and Yoko responds by kicking free just before the 2 count is given. GWD’s size and power make it difficult for Yoko to go toe to toe with him, so instead she rakes his eyes before running around in circles, pulling GWD’s arm behind his back and then wrapping him in the chain so that his other arm is also tied up. GWD tries to free himself, but Yoko leaves herself just enough slack on the chain to be able to attack with a flurry of fists and feet before turning her back and delivering her “accidental” kick to the groin. The crowd cheers and Yoko giggles as GWD falls to his knees, eyes watering; she uses a further kick to send GWD falling backward, and makes a cover. GWD cannot raise his arms, but he gathers his considerable strength and bucks to get his shoulders up before the 3 count. Yoko tries to hold him on the mat but she is too light to do so; GWD pulls himself back up to his feet and then realises that Yoko is now unable to use her speed advantage to the same effect as normal. GWD moves so that Yoko is between him and the post, then suddenly charges forward to crush his petite foe between the post and his own body. Yoko has the wind knocked out of her, and as she slumps in the corner GWD finally has a chance to extract himself from the chain.
GWD doesn’t give Yoko a second to recover; he lifts her and climbs to the second rope before nailing a huge superplex. Yoko lies still, and GWD taunts the crowd as they boo him for his treatment of his opponent. GWD lazily pins, and further riles the audience by lifting Yoko’s head from the mat just before 3, keen to hammer his point home. GWD gets up and picks Yoko off the mat, throwing her roughly out through the ropes. Yoko struggles to her feet as GWD smirks, but she is now becoming angry and this gives her increased strength. Yoko runs around the ring to the post and yanks on the chain; GWD is taken off balance and he half runs, half falls against the post. Yoko takes up the slack and pulls, wrenching GWD’s arm; GWD howls and grabs the chain with both hands, standing up and backing away quickly to try and pull Yoko into the metal. But Yoko has a further surprise; she leans back so the at the chain is pulled tight, and walks up the post as if abseiling in reverse. The crowd cheers and whoops as Yoko steps up on to the top of the post and leaps gracefully into a moonsault that impacts directly on GWD, sending both superstars into the canvas. Both Yoko and GWD are dazed from the move, and it takes a few seconds before Yoko is able to make a cover; GWD shakes the stars from his head and thrusts an arm in the air at 2.5. The participants haul themselves back to their feet, and at the same instant they both catch sight of the ball and chain lying by the post, having evidently detached itself during the last couple of minutes of the match. Yoko is faster, but GWD is nearer; they both dive for the weapon and each gets a hand to it. Yoko digs her nails of her free hand into GWD’s skin to try and make him let go, but GWD pulls himself up to his full height and holds his arm aloft, lifting Yoko off her feet and shaking the shortere chain violently until Yoko loses her grip. Yoko wisely backs away from GWD, who grins as he tests the ball and chain out, whirling it around his head in a threatening manner.

Yoko stays as far away from GWD as the chain will allow as she tries to come up with a plan to deal with her armed – and – dangerous opponent. Several times GWD tries to rush Yoko, and each time she just barely manages to evade the heavy metal ball as it whooshes past her head. The crowd is willing Yoko to find a way to respond, and as they start to chant her name she is lifted by their support, and an idea comes to her. Yoko backs into a corner, and GWD charges, believing her to be trapped; instead Yoko waits until the last second before slipping through the ropes, stepping lightly around the post and then entering from the other side. GWD turns to meet her and swings the ball, but he is holding it in the hand attached to the long chain and Yoko pulls this tight as GWD’s arm is above his head, bending his arm at an angle. The ball still has momentum and its swings down to hit GWD in the arm, making him wince; Yoko takes the chance offered and snatches the chain from GWD’s hand. GWD tries to make a grab for Yoko but she slips back out through the ropes, dropping lightly to the floor and running along the side of the ring to re – enter from a safe distance and untangle the longer chain at the same time. Now GWD is the one who has to think quickly; Yoko runs in, ducks GWD’s blow and, holding the metal ball in her hand, punches GWD in the small of the back. The metal lends Yoko’s shots considerable extra weight and GWD has to employ all his agility to stop Yoko from landing too many blows on him. GWD knows he cannot afford to expend too much energy chasing his foe, so he uses both hands to reel in the length of chain linking the pair together. Yoko tries to resist but GWD is far too strong; he draws Yoko to within his arms’ length and then delivers a earth – shaking punch to the schoolgirl prodigy’s head. Yoko is made very dizzy, and GWD follows up with a piledriver; the crowd groans and everyone is sure that the match is over, but somehow Yoko raises a shoulder milliseconds before the 3 count is made.
GWD stands back up; he picks up the metal ball and, looking at it, decides that it is more of a hindrance than a benefit, and throws it out of the ring. Yoko pulls herself back to her feet and stares at GWD; despite the huge mismatch in weight, Yoko has somehow managed not only to survive thus far but has also come close to causing a huge upset. GWD still looks at Yoko with disdain, but he does at least now recognise her as a credible threat and he realises that he needs to finish the match without delay. To that end he advances on Yoko, who runs back to the ropes and ricochets forward to launch into a dropkick; GWD dodges but is not quite as quick as he needs to be and Yoko gets a partial hit. GWD staggers back a little and Yoko starts kicking him in the gut; enraged, GWD grabs Yoko and throws her away from him, managing somehow to use his opponent as a missile that takes out the referee. GWD moves in and tries to wrap the chain around Yoko’s neck, but Yoko twists away and leaps up high for a roundhouse kick to GWD’S head. GWD drops down on one knee, and Yoko swiftly regains her feet before delivering her Pop from Okinawa. GWD falls and the crowd roars; Yoko has the upper hand and she hits a leg drop to keep GWD down. Yoko sees that the referee is still down, and as she tries to revive him there is a sudden reaction from the crowd as from the back Rey McFoley runs down to the ring, unseen by any of its occupants. Yoko has no time to react as Rey comes in and lifts her up for a Gorey Bomb; Yoko is stunned by the impact and she tries to stand and defend herself, but Rey just shouts a tirade of abuse before delivering a hail of blows to her head and backing up to use the ropes for a springboard hurricanrana. Yoko sprawls on the mat, badly dazed from Rey’s assault, and the lightweight champion makes a hasty exit as both GWD and the referee start to come around.
GWD does not know what has happened to Yoko, but he is not a man who looks a gift horse on the mouth. As Yoko tries to get up, GWD lifts her and looks at the chain thoughtfully; then with a nasty smile, he takes up the slack so that he is holding the chain just a foot or so from the end attached to his opponent. With a loud yell, GWD spins himself 360 degrees, causing Yoko to lift right of the mat and be spun like an Olympic hammer; the crowd gasps as GWD lets go and Yoko is propelled forcefully into one of the turnbuckles. Yoko bounces and lies still; GWD smirks and pulls his opponent back to the centre of the ring before pinning lazily. GWD is sure the match is over, and the referee counts 1,2, - the crowd roars anew as Yoko throws up a hand and opens her eyes with utter fury burning in them. GWD is taken aback, and Yoko rolls sideways out of the ring; GWD reacts quickly and a tug of War ensues as GWD tries to pull Yoko back into the ring, and Yoko tries to resist. GWD gathers in the chain and approaches the edge of the ring, but this is what Yoko has been holding out for; she springs her trap and jumps up to the apron with the recovered ball and chain in her hand. GWD doesn’t have time to block as Yoko swings the ball; it smashes GWD on the head at point blank range, and GWD falls backward. Yoko raises an arm to hail the crowd as she slips back under the ropes to free the chain, and then hits her handspring moonsault to loud acclaim. Yoko makes the pin, and GWD’s head is still spinning as the referee counts 1,2,3.
Philip: Here is your winner……Yoko Satoshi!
The referee comes to check on Yoko, who is still sitting on the canvas after her successful pin; he removes the chain from around her wrist, and does the same for GWD who is still well out of it. The crowd stands to applaud Yoko as she gets up, and she waves to them in thanks; but from her face it is obvious that the victory has been soured by McFoley’s unexpected and unexplained interruption. Yoko realises, as she walks up the ramp, that she may have put one man in his place, but that a new battle is just beginning…..one that has the potential to either make or break her as a professional wrestler.

Segment: Bringing out the Big Guns
The shot shows WCW’s office for the night; WCW is sitting at his desk with RDK and Rose standing in front of it. RDK has evidently just been told of the new stipulation to his match and he is not at all happy.
RDK: So you’re saying that if we lose this match, I lose my commissioner status? That’s a downright dirty trick! Sure, the Chairman might have thought of it first, but still………<br> Rose: Never mind that. We’re still a member short for our team, and all of us will have wrestled in other matches beforehand……….this doesn’t sound like the walkover you promised, WCW. So what exactly are you going to do about it?
WCW leans back in his chair and smiles coldly; there is a powerful knock at the door.
WCW: My friends, I would like to introduce the 5th member of our faction. Come in…….
The door opens, and the towering figure of Kain enters. Rose and RDK are silent, but their expressions suggest they are pleased with the Chairman’s choice.
WCW: I’ve chosen my esteemed colleague Kain here because he is capable of dominating the opposition…..he’ll go in first and soften up the first couple of entrants before you 3 get into the match.
Kain: Whatever you say, Mr Chairman. Just don’t forget, you will owe me……..and I always collect on my debts.
WCW: Of course, my friend, those who serve me faithfully will always get their just reward, in the same way that those who cross me find themselves in a world of pain.
Everyone seems happy with the arrangements; with that, RDK, Kain and Rose follow one another out of the room. Rose is last and she closes the door behind her; she walks a little way down the corridor to a junction with a dark hallway, and 2 druids step out of the shadows.
Rose: Is everything ready for us to execute our plan?
Druid 1: Yes, Mistress Kaesar. All is prepared…….we will take him as you requested.
Rose: Excellent. Go forth, and bring me that which I desire.
The druids melt away into the shadows, and Rose smiles darkly as she walks away……
Fade out.

Match 3: Rey Mcfoley vs Venom vs Stewartfan vs Liljakie - Lightweight Title Cage Match
The sight of a steel cage being lowered to the ring always gets the ACW fans excited, and the capacity stadium crowd greets the structure almost as enthusiastically as they would a wrestler.
Philip: Our next match will be a four – man steel cage match, and it is for the ACW Lightweight Championship! The winner of the match will be the first person to leave the cage and place their feet on the floor outside.
619 hits, and Stewart comes out to survey the massive crowd.
Philip: Now entering the arena, the first participant………from Columbus Ohio, Stewart!
Stewart makes his way down to the ring, adjusting the strapping in his wrists; he looks ready for a tough fight as he climbs up through the door to join Philip in the ring.
Tonight by Staind hits, and Venom walks out confidently into the extraordinary atmosphere of his first ACW PPV.
Philip: From Las Vegas, Nevada………Venom!
Venom gets a mixed reaction from the crowd; like him they are still mystified as to his strange behaviour in the shows leading up to tonight’s contest. Evidently though Venom has put this behind him, and he shows no reluctance to enter the cage upon reaching the ring.
Numb by Linkin Park hits, and everyone waits to see who the mystery competitor is……
Philip: Next, making his ACW Debut……….from Dover NH, Liljakie!
Jakie walks out on to the stage and raises his arm to greet the crowd; he is one of the lightest men in the fed but his formidable reputation from GFWWE is unquestionable, and the fans cheer his return with spirit.
Then finally, “Beautiful People” thunders from the stadium sound system, and Re McFoley walks out, belt held high in the air in defiance of the storm of heel heat his appearance triggers.
Philip: And now entering the arena, he is the defending ACW Lightweight Champion………Rey McFoley!
Rey comes down the entranceway, absolute determination etched across his face. He climbs up quickly into the cage and paces around, trying to intimidate the other 3 men in the ring. Philip leaves the cage and the door is closed; the referee looks around and makes eye contact with all four men to ensure that no one tries to make a move before the match is officially started.
Bell Rings.
Everything kicks off at once; Venom makes a dash for the side of the cage and leaps upward to grab the mesh, but is swiftly pursued and dragged back down by Rey. Stewart tries to floor Jakie so that he too can make a break for it, but Jakie is feeling pumped from the crowd’s reaction and he lets fly with a barrage of blows that push Stewart back to the corner. Venom and Rey trade blows in the centre of the ring as Jakie continues working on Stewart; he pummels his upper body before climbing up to the top rope, catching Stewart’s head with his feet and flipping backwards to throw Stewart face – first to the mat. Stewart travels several feet and interrupts Venom and Rey; they turn in time to see Jakie back at the corner and climbing with surprising speed towards the top of the cage. Venom and Rey both charge after him, and they have to summon all their speed to catch up to him just before he gets a hand to the top of the structure; Jakie tries to resist them but with one opponent on either side his attention is impossibly split. Venom and Rey dislodge Jakie, but as he falls back he grabs both of them and all 3 men topple back down to the ring, bouncing painfully off of the turnbuckle and ropes as they do so. Stewart is spoiled for choice as he picks himself back up, and so he takes on Rey who is the first to rise and block his way. The pair lock up and try to throw one another before Stewart gathers enough strength to drive Rey back against the ropes and the metal walls of the cage. Rey holds on and spins Stewart so that his back is now to the ropes; Rey tries to ram the back of Stewart’s head against the cage wall but he is torn away from his opponent by Venom, who takes advantage of Rey’s inattention and delivers a swift powerbomb. Stewart comes forward and he and Venom both attack the champion, seeing him as their biggest threat, but this gives Jakie a window of opportunity and he tries to ascend the cage wall without attracting his opponent’s attention. Venom is engrossed in applying his boot to Rey’s head, but Stewart sees the danger and he springs up the cage, grabbing on to Jakie’s foot. Stewart is not strong enough to pull Jakie right off the wall, so instead he twists the foot at the ankle until Jakie is forced to descend a little to deal with him. With Jakie now in range, Stewart puts his arms around Jakie’s waist and performs a german suplex – type move to bring both men back down to the canvas.
All four men are back at ground level, and they all scrap together in the centre of the ring. Stewart and Rey go for simultaneous whips in opposite directions, but their opponents reverse the moves and quickly step away so that Stewart and Rey clash their heads together on their return. The head impact stuns both men, leaving Jakie and Venom to compete with one another; they exchange punches and kicks and move together toward the cage side. Still taking shots at one another, they begin to ascend; the crowd is whipped up with excitement as they reach the top and balance precariously on the top of the cage. They swap blows and each starts to look a little wobbly on their feet, but finally Venom makes the breakthrough and he concentrates all his strength to lift Jakie right off of his feet and suspend him above his head. With a huge effort Venom delivers the military – style slam, hurling Jakie back into the ring; both Rey and Stewart have to roll aside to avoid being taken out as he lands. Venom looks down at the other competitors and quickly swings his legs over the top of the cage; both Stewart and Rey run to the cage wall but it is obvious that they do no have enough time to reach Venom. Venom’s spirits soar as he spider – climbs downward, and the crowd roars as he prepares to jump the final few feet to the floor…..
…….but the crowd aren’t roaring for Venom; they are reacting to the five druids who have suddenly come forward from the crowd itself and are now grouped just below Venom’s position. Venom looks down and is confused, but something in his mind yells to him to get away and he tries to climb back up the cage. The druids however have no intention of letting him do so; two of them leap upward and grab on to Venom’s legs, and the other match participants are left to watch in utter confusion as the druids drag Venom down into their clutches. Venom cries out and tries to struggle free, but the 5 who hold him are far too strong. Without any further ado the druids bundle Venom away up the ramp and into the shadows; his feet never touch the ground and soon his cries are lost in the ether.

The match has naturally come to a standstill while all this is going on, but Rey is only temporarily distracted by the strange events and his concern for his title far outweighs that he has for his one – time partner. Rey sneakily hits a double clothesline on Stewart and Jakie before rushing over to the cage door; he attacks it with a number of kicks to the catch and suddenly the door springs open. Rey’s face lights up and he steps quickly through the ropes…..but not quite quickly enough. Both Jakie and Stewart are on top of him, and Rey screams abuse at them as they drag him back into the cage, with the referee refastening the door behind them. Jakie looks at Stewart, and Stewart grins evilly; with Jakie holding Rey’s legs, Stewart climbs up to the nearest post and shouts the traditional greeting, “WHAAZZZAP” to huge cheers from the fans. Rey’s face is a classic Polaroid moment as Stewart leaps out and head butts him in his most sensitive area, and both Stewart and Jakie take a moment to absorb the crowd’s adulation before resuming their 1 on 1 battle. Stewart is keen to stand and fight, but Jakie has other ideas and he manages to land a running 2 handed bulldog. Stewart takes the impact but he is very resilient and gets straight back up; taking a leaf from Jakie’s own book he also takes a run up before hitting a powerful swinging neckbreaker, using his own velocity to increase its effectiveness. Jakie is down, and Stewart races back to the corner to go for his spinout frog splash; he leaps, but Jakie is not as badly stunned as Stewart had thought and only a partial connection is made. Both men take some damage from the move, and this leaves them both vulnerable as Rey rises menacingly back to his feet, his expression black as the ace of spades.
Rey goes for Jakie first and dropkicks against his back, sending him flying and just missing the referee. Jakie hits the cage wall and a small wound opens on his forehead; the referee comes over to him to check there is no serious injury, and Rey uses the distraction to low –blow Stewart not once but twice. With Stewart down, Rey picks him up and rapidly ascends the turnbuckle for his Untimely Death (jumping fireman’s carry to DVD) finisher. It connects, and Stewart is well out of it as Rey begins to climb with utter resolve toward the top of the structure. The crowd shouts itself silly trying to get Jakie moving, and he does not disappoint them; Jakie shots up after Rey, who curses and tries to kick him in the head. Jakie isn’t going to take this, and he quickly springs up the cage to draw level with Rey. The pair swing blows at one another, taking and giving a lot of punishment as they slowly edge up to the rim of the cage. Both swing their legs over the top at the same time, and they straddle the top of the cage as they each try to knock one another back enough to get a lead on their opponent. Rey delivers a crushing blow to Jakie, who falls back to lie along the top of the cage; Rey quickly flips his other foot over, but Jakie isn’t out of the contest yet and he rolls sideways toward the outside of the cage, catching on to the metal with his hands and drawignlevel with Rey again. Both men now race to the bottom, but as they do so their progress is halted by a huge surge of noise and they look up to see Stewart standing on the cage top, looking down. Only a couple of seconds pass, but it seems like an eternity; the referee has let himself out of the cage, and cameras flash as Stewart literally takes the plunge and throws himself off of the cage. At the same instant both Rey and Jakie also let go; the referee has to jump clear as all 3 men land, almost at exactly the same time………<br> The referee waves his hand and the bell rings; only the referee himself has seen who touched the floor first, but he decides to call for the video just to be absolutely sure. The slow motion replay flashes up on the screen, and the director hits pause at the exact frame which shows Rey’s left foot touch the mat just a fraction of a second before Jakie’s.
Philip: Here is your winner……..Rey McFoley!
All 3 men lie on the outside matting; Stewart has evidently hurt his leg quite badly in his suicidal plunge from the top of the cage and he clutches his calf, trying to stem the pain. Liljakie gets up and offers his hand to Rey, but the retaining champion rudely ignores it and pulls himself up using the apron cover before grabbing back his belt and hugging it to his chest. Jakie shakes his head at Rey’s behaviour, but worse is to come; from the back El Loco appears, and the Pocos have a little warm up for the TLC with a joint attack on Jakie. The Pocos go for a 3D, but then Jakie also receives support from an unexpected source; BK London hurtles down to the ring and beats back the Pocos, helping Jakie back to his feet. Rey and EL retreat, preserving their energy; the fans jeer them, but Rey and EL don’t care; all they think of as they walk back up the ramp is their desire to add the tag team gold to Rey’s lightweight title. Neither they, nor any of the other challengers has a single inkling of the hell on earth that they are about to experience………….

Segment: Demonic Intervention (Credit: Ridley)
Ridley sits in his throne in the Demon Pit, palms upturned and head tilted back. A ring of lit candle clusters around the throne oddly fails to illuminate the Demon Pit as Ridley begins...
Ridley: Ana nadra....lienna nadra....
A single flash of lightning briefly lights up the room behind him. The candles seem to burn brighter, and Ridley continues....
Ridley: Santificatus proxilla vente....
A sudden, more violent flurry of lightning blazes through the Demon Pit as the candle flames simultaneously burst into miniature conflagrations. Orchestrated choral music begins to swell all over the room as Ridley stands, hoists his arms in the air, and finishes....
Ridley: Domine...dienve....chironex...del INFERNI!!!
With the final word, the candles and lightning explode into a simultaneous flare of blinding light, and then the room plunges into darkness.
For a second...all is still.
And then a single candle, resting on the arm of the throne, ignites. It casts enough light to make Ridley visible again, arms still outstretched like a raven's wings.
Asmodeus stands behind him.
Asmodeus: You know what you must do?
Ridley: Slaughter them.
His voice is inhuman; it's like the screams of tortured souls blending with echoing peals of thunder. Perfectly harmonious in itself.
Asmodeus: Good. I take it you like your newfound...traits?
The camera pulls in just a little closer, and we can make out Ridley's distinctly paler skin. He grins for a second, revealing his canines to be not only as pointed as usual, but razor-sharp-looking.
Ridley: I do...
He lowers his head slowly, and we see that his irises, once hazel, have turned completely blood-red.
Asmodeus: What do the omens tell you, Ridley?
A long, and somewhat tense, pause.
Ridley: I stand at a nexus....the divergence of two paths. My actions will determine which path I follow.
Asmodeus: Good....now go out to the TLC match.
As the camera begins to fade out, Ridley opens his mouth and lets his tongue slide out. It would probably give Skurai paroxysms, for we see that Ridley's tongue is now forked like a snake's.
Asmodeus: And spill their blood....for me.
End segment.

Match 4: Pain Inc vs Poco Locos vs Tyd & Monkeybaal - Tag team title match – TLC
No introduction is strictly necessary for the fourth match of the evening; as the tables, ladders and chairs are brought to ringside the fans’ anticipation is at an all – time high. The tag belts hang tantalisingly above the ring, glimmering in the spotlights………
Philip: The next contest will be a “TLC” – Tables, Ladders and Chairs match, and it is for the ACW Tag Team Championship!
Back in Black by AC / DC hits, and the fans roar their approval as Tyd and Monkey step through the curtains into the heat of the stadium and the first of the evening starlight.
Philip: Introducing first, from Hickory NC………Tyd, and his partner Monkeybaal!
Tyd and Monkey come to the ring together, stopping occasionally to greet their fans; they are under no illusions about the task facing them, but they are determined to give their all.
Philip: Next, the lightweight champion Rey McFoley, and his partner El Loco……..they are collectively known as the Poco Locos!
”Beautiful People” fills the stadium as the Pocos make their way to the ring; the crowd is not impressed following their behaviour at the conclusion of the preceding match, and their memories have not failed in the last 10 minutes. The Pocos, however, are oblivious to the crowd’s reaction; they look at the implements available to them, and their minds are filled with devious thoughts of how best to use them.
Everyone waits with baited breath, and the noise ramps up to almost illegal levels as the lights flicker and are extinguished……
GONG….
GONG….
GONG…..
From the stage, a trail of fire springs to life, running the length of the entrance way and spreading until the ring and its occupants are surrounded. Two robed figures walk out on to the stage, and the larger of the two spreads his arms wide and high, making himself look like a dementor brought terrifyingly to life………..
Philip: And finally, they are the defending ACW Tag Team Champions……..Ridley, Lord of Hardcore, and Alexandra Kaesar, the White Rose……..together known as Pain Inc!
Ridley waits for the audience to be close to coronary thrombosis before dropping his arms, and “Gay Bar” thunders throughout the stadium as the place is lit with a fiery red glow. Ridley and Rose walk at a comfortable pace down to the ring, and Ridley holds the rope down for his partner to enter. Ridley still has his hood over his face, and everyone in the crowd leans forward as far as they can as he slowly removes his cowl…..
The main lights come back on, and pretty much everyone recoils when they see Ridley’s “enhancements”; what was frightening enough on a video screen is truly unnerving in the flesh. Tyd and Monkey take a step backward; EL and Rey hold their ground, but both of them are evidently trying to convince themselves that Ridley just has a really good make up artist, and not being entirely successful. The referee calls the group to order, and EL and Tyd both instantly step forward to start. Everyone waits to see which member of Pain Inc. will opt to begin, and Rose steps right up to EL and Tyd. Ridley just smiles and further worries his opponents by giving them a glimpse of his razor – sharp canines. The ref is keen to get things started, and the other superstars peel off to their corners as Tyd, Rose and EL begin to pace, staring each other down.
Bell Rings.
As soon as the match begins, Rey jumps off of the turnbuckle and grabs a chair, sliding it to EL in the ring. EL grins and starts to pursue Rose and Tyd, but his overconfidence turns out to be misplaced. Tyd waits for EL to raise the chair for a strike, and then kicks him hard in the gut; EL gasps and suffers further as Rose snatches the chair and promptly bashes EL on the head. EL drops and Rose goes for Tyd, who nimbly avoids her; on the outside, Rey has been busy again and a table is waiting at the side. Tyd gets behind Rose and goes for a german suplex, but Rose still has the chair and she swings it back over her own head, hitting Tyd and forcing him to let her go. Rose smiles, but she has not noticed EL make a quick switch with Rey and the lightweight champ sneaks up on her before snatching the chair and throwing it aside. Rose swings a kick but Rey avoids it and whips her to his own corner, where EL joins in to beat her down; Rey pulls her out of the corner and EL quickly lodges a second chair in the ropes. Rey throws Rose against the chair and she slumps down, but his victory is brief as Tyd grasps him, and with enormous strength charges with Rey like a battering ram into the already bent chair before dropping him on top of Rose. EL shouts angrily, but Tyd is now in full flow and he grabs on to the second poco, lifting him above his head from the apron before walking alongside the ropes and slamming him into the waiting table, shattering it. Monkey and the crowd are cheering wildly, and Tyd gives Ridley a pointed stare as he slips out of the ring to fetch a ladder. The ladder is quickly set up, and Ridley realises he needs to get into the match, tag or no tag; Tyd and Monkey however have prepared for just such a situation, and Tyd makes a rapid tag to Monkey before spearing Ridley as he tries to enter the ring. Tyd and Ridley fall to the outside, and Monkey’s heart soars as he climbs unmolested toward the precious belts above him.
The referee is distracted by the vicious chair - duel which has started up between Ridley and Tyd on the outside, and he does not see Rose and the Pocos co – operating to bring down the ladder which Monkey is trying to climb; he unwisely gets a little too close and a chair shot of unknown origin knocks him out cold. The ladder crashes down, missing the referee by inches and hurling Monkey on to the metal entrance ramp; Tyd is starting to bleed heavily from repeated chair shots, and despite his dizziness Monkey runs in to try and help. In the ring, the Pocos are trying to overpower Rose, but she fights with incredible power and skill that thrills the crowd. Rey takes a DDT while EL receives a swift suplex, and Rose heaves the ladder back up into position before starting to climb; the pocos however are not so easily put off, and with a signal to one another EL starts to climb while Rey gets a fresh table and sets it up below the ladder in the ring. Rose reaches the top of the ladder, but just as she gets one hand to the belts EL catches up with her; the pair fight at the top of the ladder which begins to sway dangerously. Rey shouts at EL to finish their plan, but he attracts the attention of Tyd; although he too is now injured Monkey is holding his own against Ridley and Tyd decides to give Rey a taste of his own medicine. As Rey watches the battle on the ladder, Tyd scoops him up and hits a piledriver; Rey is temporarily incapacitated, and Tyd dumps him on the table just seconds before Rose manages to overcome EL, and he plunges down to drive his own tag partner through the table. Rose is flushed with success, but she also takes an unscheduled flight as Tyd pushes the ladder over in the opposite direction and Rose is thrown down almost into the crowd itself.
Tyd throws the pocos out of the ring before setting the ladder up a third time. Tyd does not have much of a head for heights, but he overcomes his fear and starts to climb. The ladder is damaged and shaky, but Tyd keeps going, and the crowd is right behind him as he nears the top. Tyd gives a small smile as the belts come in range, but his face crumples as he sees the limp, bloody shape of Monkey below, who has been beaten into submission by Ridley. Tyd shakes with anger as he sees Ridley leering, holding a seriously dented chair and spattered with his opponent’s blood, and he fills with satisfaction as he reaches up and grips the belt to take it from Pain Inc. Ridley doesn’t look concerned however, and Tyd is about to find out why; Rose is standing next to the ladder, and Tyd sees her slap a small, white blob on to the bottom of it. Rose grins and from her belt she removes a shiny, rectangular object; only when Rose jams the detonator into the blob and makes a hasty exit does Tyd realise what is about to happen. With a mighty BANG, the c4 explosive does its job and the bottom of the ladder is twisted and mangled, as well as tipping the ladder over; Tyd tries to jump clear, but as he falls Ridley rushes to meet him and the crowd gasps as Ridley lands a huge chair shot to Tyd while he is in mid – air. Tyd is spun 180 degrees by the impact and crashes down on to the outside mats, Ridley stands over him and smiles devilishly as Tyd lies still on the ground. Rose looks at the mangled ladder and heaves it away out of the ring, deciding that a fresh one will be required, but as she does so she is attacked from behind by the furious Poco Locos. Ridley jumps into the ring, eager for more bloodshed, and a four – person scrap breaks out. The two sides seem evenly matched, but then Rose suddenly breaks away leaving Ridley in a 2 – on – 1 situation. The pocos try to take advantage, but Ridley is filled with a power unlike anything anyone has seen before, and he just keeps getting up regardless of what the pocos try to do to him.

The pocos throw everything they can think of at Ridley; suplexes, slams, double clotheslines……but all seemingly to no avail. On the outside, Rose has set up a ladder and she climbs up to get sufficient height to leap down on to the pocos in the ring. EL sees this and shoots over to the ladder to stop her, but as he climbs up Rose suddenly jumps away, and Ridley breaks out of his battle with Rey to run forward and hit a no – hands plancha out of the ring and straight on to the ladder. The impact knocks the ladder over and EL falls with it, landing hard. Ridley rushes up to him and hits a black hole slam on to the fallen ladder for kicks; meanwhile in the ring Rose and Rey’s battle is interrupted by a combined attack from Monkey and Tyd, who despite their injuries have somehow managed to pull themselves back into the match. All four battle together, and as they do so the referee finally regains consciousness; Tyd leaves the ring to avoid giving either of his opponent teams a further ref – free window, and the fight continues. The referee is determined to keep an eye on things, so he completely misses Ridley making a methodical pyramid from 3 tables just next to the ring; Ridley inspects his work, and then from under the ring he retrieves a small box. With a malevolent smile Ridley sprinkles the contents of the box over the top table……a multitude of very sharp thumbtacks. The three way battle reaches the ropes close to the tables, and Ridley gives Rose just a very tiny raise of his eyebrows. As Rey tries for a superkick, Rose ducks and counters with her “mark of the rose” (doublearm DDT); Rey drops, and Monkey sees his chance, leaping up to the ropes for a top rope moonsault. In doing this however, he plays right into Rose’s hands; she jumps up and rakes his eyes, cusing Monkey to pause as he crouches on the rope. This is what Ridley has been waiting for Rose to set up; before the ref can do anything, Ridley springs up to the top of the post at his corner, runs along the rope to Monkey, and to a huge roar from the crowd he jumps on to Monkey’s shoulders and nails his famous Eviscerana………right on to the waiting pyramind. The whole thing collapses with an almighty crash, and when the camera finally gets a clear shot Ridley is somehow back on his feet, looking with satisfaction at his opponent, who is lying and moaning softly in the wreckage, with splinters and tacks sticking out all over his blood – soaked back.
Rose is filled with glee at Ridley’s awesome display and she claps loudly; Ridley smiles and almost as an afterthought passes her a new ladder. Rose sets it up, but Tyd is shocked by the fate of his partner, and righteous fury begins to flood his system. Tyd storms into the ring; the referee tries to protest but Tyd is so angry that he knocks him away and out of the ring. Tyd goes after Rose, but it is Ridley that comes to meet him and the two circle the ladder, swapping huge blows but neither seeming to feel their effects. Rose starts to ascend, but once again it is a recovering EL that manages to climb up after her, and they fight one another at the top of the ladder for the second time. Tyd sees them, and he somehow manages to whip Ridley for a back body drop and buy himself a little time to start climbing the ladder on the opposite side. Tyd climbs all the way to the top, and Ridley stalks him, following just behind; on the other side of the ladder, Rose somehow gets behind EL, and with a double salute to the crowd Rose and Ridley perform simultaneous superplexes off of the ladder and plummet back down to the ring, causing the crowd to scream once more. Ridley is back up almost immediately, but Rose takes quite a bit longer; Ridley has allowed his most violent urges full rein, but seeing that Rose is tiring and has started to bleed from wounds of her own, his sanguine red eyes lose just a little of their fire and Ridley decides to bring the match to a conclusion.
Monkey, Tyd and EL are as good as eliminated from the match, but one man still stands between Pain Inc. and their titles, and his lust for gold drives him almost as hard as Ridley’s own “motivator”. Rey picks himself up, and he locks eyes with Ridley, daring to defy the lord of hardcore at his most petrifying; Ridley smiles and gives him a glimpse of his forked tongue, which makes Rey visibly recoil. Even this, however, is not enough to send Rey fleeing, and instead he springs into a hurricanrana that flings Ridley against the ladder and knocks it out of the ring. Ridley gets up, and is noticeably angered by Rey’s defiance of him; he grabs Rey and headbutts him until Rey starts to bleed from his forehead. On the outside, Rose is building a familiar 3 – ladder pyramind, similar to that which she used in the “Industrial Revolution” match; once she has done this she starts to drag 3 tables into the ring, and Ridley helpfully uses his “Torpedoes Away” throw to remove Rey from the ring while Rose sets the tables up, one on top of the first. For the last she needs help, so Ridley slams Rey into the steps and assists Rose to put the third table on the stack. Once this is done, Ridley passes Rose a few choice items from under the ring – a large quantity of c4, more thumbtacks, and a number of ordinary lightbulbs. Rose attaches the c4 to the legs of the bottom table, and fixes a few lightbulbs in for extra effect; the rest go on the third table along with the tacks and a chair just to make the double TLC (tables / ladders / chairs and tacks / lightbulbs / c4) complete. The crowd is having trouble believing what it is seeing, and Rose swiftly wires up the c4 together as Ridley hauls the struggling Rey up the ladder pyramid. The sound of the audience is extraordinary as Ridley reaches the top; he waits for Rose to add the timed detonator, but Rose is interrupted by a final desperate attempt by Tyd to stop her. Tyd has lost a huge amount of blood, but unbelievably he tries to save Rey from the explosive landing. Sadly, although Tyd is brave he is now very weak, and Rose mercilessly finishes him with an extraordinary and crushing slam on to one of the wrecked tables at the outside. Rose adds the detonator to the c4 and retreats as Ridley launches himself and Rey into the air for the concerto of blood……
Ridley hits at the exact moment the C4 detonates; the lightbulbs blaze with light before exploding, and all 3 tables are split asunder. The security barriers around the ring are pelted with splintering wood and glass, and everyone holds their breath; then, incredibly, Ridley rises from the ruins and steps away. He too is peppered with shrapnel, and little trickles of blood run down his back and front, but if anything Ridley seems ready to fight the same match over again. No one knows how the match can possibly go on, and the referee is dumbstruck by the carnage around him. Unsure what to do, the ref looks around him to the timekeeper and other officals, but then the crowd rises once more and the camera pans over to show Rose, standing atop the ladder pyramid. Rose spreads her arms out, and then leaps forward; the double ladders are more than tall enough to reach the rope that supports the belts, and Rose catches hold of it before sliding down as if she were using a fireman’s pole. Ridley beams with pride as Rose carefully unhooks the belts, and the arena explodes louder than the c4 as Rose drops the belts down and then lets herself fall……..
Philip: Here are your winners…….and still ACW Tag Team Champions……….Pain Inc!
The crowd is in a state of shock at what they have just witnessed; Ridley catches Rose and puts her down carefully before drawing himself back up to his full height - he looks as fresh as if he had just entered the ring. Rose looks much more tired, but she is elated at both the win and its nature. She comes up to Ridley and he pulls her close; she looks up at him with adoring eyes and there is no fear in her at all as she kisses the vision of horror that her partner has become. The EMTs are scrambled en masse to attend to the broken figures of Pain Inc’s opponents, and Ridley and Rose leave them to do their jobs; with their belts in hand and arm in arm they walk slowly away and out of the arena, with the sound of the crowd’s screams still ringing in their ears.
