The show begins with a panning shot of the massive arena, full to bursting with fans; many have paid far over the market value for their tickets, and the atmosphere is charged with expectation. The venue is decked out with Uncensored banners, and an enlarged stage area gives the match participants a grand entrance point. Most noticeable is the increased space around the ring and on the entrance ramp, which is twice its normal width; the reasons for this will soon be revealed as the show gets underway. Gingerdude steps up into the ring and the crowd gives him a rousing cheer.
Ginger: Ladies and Gentlemen, would you please welcome the owner and Chairman, WCW 98!
Evolution by Motorhead hits and the Chairman steps out on to the stage as spotlights race to highlight him. He listens for a moment to the crowd, and then comes forward a little to address them.
WCW 98: Good Evening everyone, and welcome to our first PPV show, Uncensored! I’m not going to make a long speech, because you already know the important facts here: we have some of the finest talent in the business today, and tonight you’re going to see them in action like never before! There will be drama, action, spectacular demonstrations of skill……..if you thought our regular shows were good, then you really ain’t seen nothing yet!
The crowd cheers wildly and WCW 98 absorbs this for a moment before going on.
WCW 98: But hey, you didn’t come here tonight to listen to me…….I just wanted to come out here and give you a personal thankyou, for supporting us through our first few weeks and coming out here tonight, it means a great deal to everyone in this company……..so without further ado, let’s get this show on the road!
The chairman’s theme hits again, and he salutes the crowd before turning and heading backstage.

Following the Chairman’s exit, there is a short pause and then Back in Black by AC / DC hits, bringing the crowd back up to a high volume.
Ginger: The first match tonight is for the Hot Young Talent Award……..making his way to the ring, the challenger…….from Hickory NC, Tyd412!
Tyd enters on to the brightly lit stage, and he is very slightly surprised in a pleasant way by the sheer number of people who cheer his appearance; he is clearly very proud to have the honour of opening the PPV and it radiates from his face as he comes down to the ring.
Ginger: And his opponent, from parts unknown…..the current HYT Title holder, the Masked Assassin!
Assassin stalks out into the spotlight and heads straight to the ring, title in hand; the crowd jeers his aloof manner but Assassin is focused solely on the task of putting Tyd in his place (i.e. with his shoulders down for a 3 count). Assassin climbs into the ring and taunts Tyd with the belt before the referee takes it from him; Tyd just watches him coolly, keeping to his own rhythm. Everything is in order, and the crowd cheers as the first match begins.
Bell Rings.
Both men stare each other down; Assassin looks at Tyd with contempt but Tyd just smiles back, not allowing it to faze him at all. The fans are cheering loudly for Tyd and the sound gnaws away at Assassin; on the outside he remains cool but inside his anger is growing. As Tyd turns towards the fans in recognition Assassin rushes in with a harsh clothesline to the back of Tyd’s head; Tyd goes down hard and this is greeted with dismay by the crowd. Assassin flips them off and then drags Tyd back up; with venom he whips him soulder – first into the turnbuckle. Assassin moves in and kicks at Tyd, then tries to take hold of him once more; Tyd though is not going to stand there and accept this kind of treatment, and he punches Assassin in the temples of his head, making him stagger back. Tyd catches and slams Assassin down back – first, and goes for a cover; the referee almost reaches 2 before Assassin kicks out. The fans continue to cheer for Tyd, and Assassin gets more and more angry; Tyd moves in to go for another impact move but Assassin superkicks him and he falls. Assassin now covers, but Tyd just as quickly pushes him off and the pair come to blows again in the centre of the ring. Tyd’s strength is immense and he easily knocks Assassin down; Assassin rolls away from Tyd and slips behind him to lock on a sleeper. Tyd though is too savvy for such a trick; as Assassin puts his arm around Tyd’s neck, Tyd grabs it and drags Assassin right over his back and shoulder to throw him back to the canvas. Tyd pins and hooks the leg, and this time the count reaches 2.5 before Assassin breaks free. Tyd has the upper hand, but Assassin is nowhere near ready to give up. Reverting to his corner strategy, Assassin whips Tyd back against the post and follows up with a shoulder thrust. Displaying previously hidden strength, Assassin lifts Tyd to sit on the post, and picks him up for a powerbomb. At the last second, Tyd stops playing possum, and thrills the fans by reversing the move into a hurracanrana, a surprising move for a wrestler usually known for his powerhouse skills. It is an even bigger surprise for Assassin, who is sent toward the ropes; Tyd follows through with a clothesline that tips both men out of the ring and down on to the floor. Battle recommences and the two men swap blows; again Tyd is the more powerful and Assassin is knocked down. Realising that it is futile to stand and fight, Assassin takes off and flees around the ring with Tyd in pursuit; they circle a couple of times, and Tyd realizes that Assassin is trying to tire him out. But Tyd is not stupid, and he increases his pace so that he is right behind Assassin; the pressure causes Assassin to trip, and Tyd grabs him to roll them both back into the ring. Assassin speedily exits again and the ref’s 10 count restarts, but Tyd cuts across the ring and jumps down from the apron as Assassin passes, flooring him and allowing Tyd to stop his flight permanently. Although the mini – marathon has drained energy from both, Tyd has worked to improve his stamina and he drops Assassin head first against the safety barrier. Assassin reels, and Tyd follows this up by lifting Assassin into an impressive Gorilla Press slam that impacts him on the steel steps. Now Tyd moves to the next phase of his plan, and he re – enters the ring; Assassin is now slightly concussed from the head blows, and Tyd waits patiently as he slowly rolls back on to the mat. The fans are right behind Tyd, and they cheer his name as Assassin comes back into the ring; Tyd is ready to end the match and he grabs Assassin by the feet, pulling him right into the centre of the ring. Assassin knows what is coming and he claws to try and escape, but Tyd’s determination is absolute and he locks in his favourite Scorpion Deathlock. Assassin feels the pain straight away, and he clenches his fists as he tries to resist; Tyd stays focused and Assassin grips the canvas, hauling himself toward the ropes. Tyd lets him get a little way, and then easily drags him back to the centre of the ring; again Assassin tries, but Tyd crushes his efforts once again. With the fans going hyper, Tyd sits back and increases the pressure to maximum; Assassin’s face is a mixture of agony and rage, but he cannot escape from the hold. The crowd yells “Tap! Tap! Tap!” and Assassin shouts back at them, but sweat is now streaming from his face and the crowd’s roar peaks as Assassin hits the limit of his endurance. Dropping his head, Assassin slams his hand down repeatedly to the mat and the referee calls for the bell; everyone (except Assassin celebrates as it rings. Tyd has been in a state of total concentration, and the referee has to ask him a couple of times before he releases the hold.
Ginger:Here is your winner….and NEW HYT Title holder……..Tyd412!
Tyd412 stands and closes his eyes for a moment, listening to the ovation from the crowd. The referee raises his arm and presents him with the belt; Tyd holds it high in the air, walking around to show it off to as many people as possible. Meanwhile the referee goes over to check on Assassin, but he is pushed away by the former champ and Assassin comes up behind Tyd to knock him to the floor in the middle of his celebration. Assassin leaves the ring with a smirk, knowing that despite his loss, the war is far from over. Tyd watches him go, but nothing can spoil his mood and he rises to his feet, lifting the belt back up; he continues to hold it above him as he walks back up the entrance ramp, and in his eyes is renewed confidence that his career in WCW will continue to grow unabated.

Segment: Declarations of intent
The camera is panning along the backstage corridors; various staff are moving around and equipment cases are stacked high. Suddenly, from behind the camera, medics rush past and speed down the hall; the camera increases its pace to follow them and the medics are shown hurrying into one of the locker rooms. As the camera enters the room, the medics are shown to be attending to a slightly scruffy man in Ninja – style clothing, lying face – down on the concrete floor; blood is flowing from wounds to his head and face and the medics talk in very concerned tones.
The camera pans upward slightly and Skurai is shown, standing back to allow the medics to do their work. His face is blank, but his eyes burn with rage and a desire for vengeance.
In the back of the shot, Spike Machinko passes by, heading to the ring for his match; he glances in as he passes, then abruptly halts as he sees what is happening and steps a little way into the room, shock evident in his expression.
Spike: Holy crap…..is that Gary?
Skurai is silent for a few seconds, then speaks slowly in a flat tone.
Skurai: I gave him a lift to the arena…….we were coming in when I realized I forgot to lock the car, so he took my bag and said he’d bring it in for me…….when I arrived, I found this.
More silence….then Spike voices the crowd’s thoughts in a hushed voice.
Spike:………….Ridley? Or Rose?
Skurai’s expression flickers for a second with cold loathing, then returns to its previous nondescript state.
Skurai: It does not matter who was responsible. Tonight Ridley and Rose will pay for all that I have suffered, with their flesh and blood.
Skurai continues to stare, and Spike backs out of the room. As he turns to go he seems to have a final thought, and he looks back at Skurai.
Spike: Uh, Skurai……………….
Spike’s own expression hardens. Spike:……..Take those twisted bastards down.
Skurai meets Spike’s gaze, and gives a small nod. With that, Spike turns and strides away down the hall toward the stage entrance.
Fade out.

The first match has already got the crowd into a state of high excitement, and there is a sense of expectation in the air as match 2 approaches.
Ginger: This next match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship!
Within My Hands by Metallica hits
Ginger: Entering first, the challenger………..Spike Machinko!
The crowd gives Spike a rousing reception, and he waves to them as he makes his way to the ring. For Spike, the match is a chance for redemption, to correct the mistake made in the Battle Royale and reclaim the title from his former friend turned bitter rival.
Beautiful People by Marylin Manson hits
Ginger: And his opponent, the defending cruiserweight champion…..Rey Mcfoley!
Rey gets a more hostile reaction from the crowd, but he pays them no heed. Only one thought occupies his mind……to hold on to the belt, whatever the cost may be. Spike he considers to be just another obstacle to be overcome, and if necessary obliterated.
The referee takes the title belt and holds it in the air before passing it out of the ring. Rey taunts Spike, motioning the belt around his waist; Spike fixes his eyes on him but he does not allow the insults to distract his focus on the matter in hand. With everything in order, the referee calls for the bell.
Bell rings.
Spike comes forward and throws a punch at Rey, who dodges backward. Rey is aware that it is not in his interest to stand and fight with Spike; instead he backs up to the ropes and springs forward to knock Spike down with a crossbody. As he falls though Spike grabs Rey and rolls him over into a sudden pin; the surprise tactics earn Spike a near – 2 count before Rey rolls back out. The pair separate and Rey taunts Spike again; this is old news by now to Spike and he locks up with the champion. They struggle to overcome one another; Rey grabs Spike by the hair and he attempts to apply a facebuster using his knee, but Spike blocks with his arms and the move is only partially successful. With his head still touching Rey’s knee, Spike shifts his arms to grasp Rey’s leg, and he falls to one side twisting and wrenching at the knee joint as he does so. Rey hits the deck and clutches at his leg; Spike quickly regains his feet and he goes to work, stamping on Rey’s knee and calf and any other part of Rey that is in the way. Rey is not daft enough to lay there and let this happen, and he rolls back to a standing position before backing away from his opponent, displaying a slight limp. Spike moves in to press his advantage, but Rey counters and hits a DDT. He follows up with a leg drop to the back of Spike’s neck, but this also causes him more pain to his own injury. Grimacing, he pushes Spike over and pins; Spike is able to break out before 2 and he shoves Rey off of him with authority. Rey gets back up and bounces against the ropes to get up speed for a clothesline, but his speed has been compromised and Spike catches him, jumping into the air and throwing his legs out wide to plant Rey on his back. Rey kicks him away before Spike has any chance to cover, and changes tactics; as Spike approaches again he whips him into the nearest corner and delivers a 10 punch. The last blow makes Spike slide down and Rey backs up before hitting the bronco buster. Having done this successfully, Rey backs away and prepares to charge in again for a diving headbutt, but Spike recovers his thoughts and rolls out of the ring. As he runs in, Rey switches his attack and leaps up to the top rope before launching into a splash; Spike counters by crouching on his knees, absorbing the impact of the splash, and then grabbing Rey as he splays on his back to throw him head – first into the safety barrier. Both Spike and Rey are affected by the moves, and the referee counts they both struggle to find their feet. Rey tries to evade Spike, knowing that he cannot lose his title from a count out, but Spike is just as aware of this and Rey’s niggling leg problem slows him just enough for Spike to catch him and roll him back into the ring in the nick of time. Spike tries to pin Rey as soon as he gets into the ring, but Rey is becoming more and more angry and he pushes Spike back. As the two stand and clash together, Rey lands a standing dropkick and swiftly locks on the crippler crossface. Spike resists and digs his fingernails into the mat; Rey takes out his pent up rage on his former friend and seems less concerned with gaining the submission than with inflicting as much pain as he can. Spike stays still and for a few moments appears to be on the verge of tapping; then when Rey has his guard down, Spike suddenly releases his stored energy in a crawling dash for the ropes. Rey does not have enough time to respond, and Spike reaches the ropes to force Rey to break the hold. Rey is not about to give up, and as Spike gets up he delivers a second dropkick, this time to the back of his head that causes Spike to end up lying on the second rope. Rey gets a good run up distance, and ignoring the pain in his calf he launches into the Crazy Twista. Before he can hit the 619 though, Spike just manages to slip aside and Rey does a full 360 turn between the ropes. Rey lands back on the apron and without pausing he leaps into a moonsault; again though Spike evades and Rey comes down hard on the canvas. Spike has the upper hand, and he gathers up Rey to hit a huge piledriver; he pins with a leg hook, and Rey just barely gets a shoulder up before the 3 count is made. Rey is hurting all over, and Spike moves to end the match by setting up for a second piledriver. Rey though works out what Spike is intending, and he struggles until Spike is forced to abandon the plan. Spike moves into brawling mode and tries to punch Rey into submission, but Rey counters and, jumping from his good leg, hits a leg lariat with his injured one. Rey’s eyes water but the move has the desired effect, and Spike staggers back; before he can react, Rey collects all his strength and draws a roar from the crowd as he grabs Spike and hits the Gorey Bomb. Spike is down and Rey has the chance to cover, but he has a point to prove and instead he decides to underline his victory with a display of the Worm. The quality of the match has thrilled the crowd, and despite Rey’s heel status they cheer him through the drawn – out process of the move; almost inevitably though, Spike evades Rey just as he drops to complete it. Rey rolls over and clutches his injured leg; Spike looks and then heads up to the corner post to finish with a flying move. As he turns his back to climb however, Rey abandons his deception and rushes up behind him (albeit still limping slightly); he punches Spike in the head from behind, and then hoists him into a fireman’s carry while he is stunned. From the top of the post, Rey springs and delivers the Untimely Death to Spike with an impact that shakes the ring; quickly he covers and Spike is too dazed to escape the 1-2-3 count.
Ginger: Here is your winner……and still Cruiserweight Champion – Rey McFoley!
Rey takes the belt and shows it off at the corner posts; he still gets some heel heat but the effort given by both men to put on the match is recognized by the fans. Rey steps down from the ring and continues to celebrate as he goes back to the locker rooms; in the ring, Spike picks himself up and the blow of losing is obvious. Even so, he raises an arm to the crowd, and they applaud him all the way back up the ramp as he leaves the arena.

Only 2 matches into the card, and the crowd is enjoying itself immensely as Ginger starts the ball rolling on match 3.
Ginger: The next match is a handicap match, and it is set for one fall. Introducing first…The President and Radobar!
Pres and Radobar come out together; the marks left by Ridley’s hangman stunt are clearly visible on Radobar’s throat. The pair enter the ring, and they go to opposite corners to get the crowd worked up and backing them, which is not difficult since the crowd considers their opponent’s attitude to stink like a stagnant pool in summer.
“The Game” by Motorhead hits
Ginger: And their opponent, former GFWWE World Heavyweight Champion and WCW Commissioner…..RDK!
Ginger snorts at the commissioner’s self penned introduction, but he is very careful not to let RDK see this as he approaches the ring. RDK steps through the ropes and haughtily snatches the microphone from Ginger; with a sneer he turns and addresses the crowd.
RDK: Well now, what do we have here? Are you seriously trying to tell me that this pathetic rabble is what passes for an audience in this crud – hole of a town?
The fans shout abuse and jeer, but RDK ignores them.
RDK: You see this is what I’m talking about…….I, the great RDK, have come here to show you clowns what a true champion looks like, and how much respect do I get? Zero, zilch, nada! And while we’re talking about respect…..
RDK turns to President and Radobar
RDK:…..I see that you two sorry excuses for talent haven’t learned much from your encounter with the hardcore master Ridley….I still see that spark of defiance in your eyes. Don’t kid yourselves guys, you’re scum, and you always will be.
The crowd gets even more irate and a chant of “You Suck” gets underway.
RDK: But hey, I’m a reasonable man…..I don’t see why I should have to break a sweat giving you guys remedial training. I’m prepared to let you slink back to the locker rooms right now with your asses intact, it’s probably the best offer you guys will get in a long time. So what do you say, fellas?
President and Radobar look at one another, and then slowly head towards the ropes. RDK smirks and turns to the referee to have his hand raised…..but as he does, so, Pres and Radobar swing round and together they charge RDK, flooring him with a double clothesline. RDK quickly rises, his face scarlet with rage, and as the fans cheer the referee waves for the match to be officially started.
Bell Rings.
RDK is quickly back on his feet, but Pres and Radobar have no intention of giving him any space to launch an attack. Pres grabs RDK’s arm and twists it into a chickenwing, while Radobar moves in and delivers a series of punches to the commissioner’s face. RDK is a skilled opponent, however, and he wrenches himself free of President before whipping him into Radobar, knocking both to the mat. RDK kicks at both men, fury driving him to be even more brutal than normal; next he drags Radobar back to his feet and hits a powerful backbreaker that makes Radobar writhe in pain. Continuing the assault, RDK lifts Radobar for a powerbomb but President hurtles back into the battle and RDK drops Radobar roughly to the floor. President hurls himself against the ropes and springs back; he tries to catch RDK for a bulldog but instead RDK knocks him down with a stiff arm as he approaches. RDK is just deciding what to do with President when Radobar grabs him from behind and hits a german suplex. President scrambles back to his feet and uses an elbow drop; he pins but RDK pushes him away before 2. Radobar repeats President’s move while RDK is still on the mat, and he also goes for a pin but again RDK swiftly responds. Together President and Radobar lift RDK to his feet and whip him against the ropes; they go for another double clothesline but RDK ducks under. RDK grabs the opposite ropes to bring himself to a halt; his opponents charge but as they come within range RDK takes one in each arm and uses their own velocity to propel them both through the ropes and on to the floor. RDK steps through the drops and leg drops to crush Pres as he lies on the crash matting; then he gets back to his feet and Radobar comes to meet him. RDK and Radobar grapple; Radobar gets a hold on RDK’s hair and he gives the fans in the front a close up view of the action by slamming RDK’s head against the security barriers. As Radobar steps back with RDK in his grip, RDK reaches behind him and grasps Radobar around his neck; RDK drops to his knees and drives Radobar’s neck against his own shoulder. Radobar bounces from the impact and lies stunned, but while RDK is on his knees President rushes forward and delivers a shining wizard. Although the blow is powerful it does not connect fully with RDK’s head, and as President moves in close, RDK rolls back to his feet and takes hold of Pres to administer his DDT / Elbow drop combination. Pres is badly dazed, and RDK is able to lead him around to the steel ring steps; RDK lays his opponent on the steps before repeating his leg drop move from the top of the corner post. Pres is in real trouble as RDK picks him up and prepares to piledrive him into the steps, but Radobar finally recovers enough to rejoin the action and he pulls RDK down so that he is forced to release Pres. All the while the referee has been counting, and Radobar realizes that all 3 men are about to be disqualified; acting quickly, he bundles both RDK and President back into the ring, and makes it back himself with just milliseconds to spare. As Radobar gets back to his feet after his re-entry, RDK whips him into a corner and ferociously beats him about the head and chest before switching to knees to the gut for some variety. Pres is still a little dizzy, but he manages to sneak up behind RDK and grab him around the waist, restraining his arms. As President holds on, Radobar takes a couple of seconds to recover and then repays RDK with interest. Radobar and President feel that they have the match under control, but as Radobar approaches again RDK kicks him hard in the stomach, and then falls backward to crush President. RDK pins Pres, and gets a 2 count before Radobar breaks it up. RDK senses that his earlier work on President has made him vulnerable, and so he moves to capitalize; Radobar also works out RDK’s strategy and he comes forward at speed to try and occupy RDK and give President a chance to recover. RDK and Radobar clash, and Radobar gives it everything he has; the fans cheer as Radobar starts to make progress, and he raises an arm to them and prepares to use his trademark DDT. Unfortunately for him, RDK uses that tiny pause to turn the pair around so that the referee cannot see him, and hits a low blow that makes Radobar screw up his face in pain. As Radobar reels, RDK lifts him up and throws him out of the ring on to the steel ring steps; Radobar lands heavily and the stairs are knocked into their component pieces. RDK turns back to be nailed by a kick to the face from Persident; he falls, and President covers, but RDK is out at the 2 count. Bravely President makes his last stand, calling forth all his reserves of energy, but with a smirk RDK counters his efforts and hits his Rock Bottom finisher. President is in no condition to fight back as RDK goes to pin; there is another crescendo from the crowd as Radobar somehow drags himself back into the ring, but he too is now in a poor condition and RDK mercilessly catches him and piledrives him into the canvas. With both opponents defeated, RDK pins both at once and the referee makes the 1-2-3 count.
Ginger: Here is your winner………commissioner RDK!
RDK gets up; despite the courageous efforts of his opponents he swears and taunts them as they lie on the mat. This goes down like a lead balloon with the fans and they angrily yell and taunt the commissioner in kind as he goes back to the locker rooms. President and Radobar pick themselves up and each checks that the other is ok before they leave the arena; in contrast to RDK they are applauded for their efforts and it makes their disappointment a little less acute as the head backstage to recover.

Segment: Know your enemy (Thanks go to Blade for this)
The scene opens in the bowels of the arena;
Bladeshadow appears out of the shadows, in front of a table, with a hammer in one hand, and a suspiciously red soaked bag in the other - he takes out a what looks to be freshly severed pig's head from the bag and plops it onto the table.
BS: Let us say this represents DWB.
(He looks down at the head)
BS: Which won't be too difficult, since this looks so much like him.
BS pauses for a minute, then takes the hammer, and crashes it through the pig’s skull, splattering blood and brains all over the area, and practically covering himself in the process.
BS: Now, this represents DWB after our hardcore match tonight. ANY QUESTIONS!!!!!??.........Didn't think so.
BS once again disappears back into the darkness, and the scene fades to black.

The fans in the arena are not best pleased after RDK’s “lesson”, and their mood does not significantly improve as Ginger announces match number 4.
Ginger: Up next is the match to determine the WCW Tag Team Champions.
One of a Kind by Breaking Point hits
Ginger: Introducing the challengers…….entering first, GWD!
GWD comes out on the entrance way and holds position.
Slow Chemical by Finger Eleven hits
Ginger: And his partner……..Kane!
The massive figure of Kane emerges from the shadows, and the arena is bathed in red and orange light as the pair come down to the ring. Kane throws his arms down to trigger his pyrotechnics, and the flames on the turnbuckles are echoed by much bigger explosions all the way across the entrance stage. Kane and GWD stand close to the ropes, and await the arrival of their opponents with grim determination.
Eddie G and Chyna’s theme hits, and everyone is surprised to find that the main source of the music is not the arena speakers; instead it seems to be coming from somewhere behind the main staging……
Ginger: And their opponents, the reigning WCW Tag Champions……Latino and DJ Blaze!
A part of the PPV set to one side of the main entrance lifts up, and there is a big response from the crowd as a set of headlights are revealed in the darkness. The people lining the entrance stand on their seats to get a better view as a supremely sleek and stylish lowrider emerges; the source of the music is revealed to be a massive fitted sound system which occupies most of the back of the vehicle. With the extra space on the entrance route and around the ring, Latino has plenty of room to steer the car and both he and Blaze lean out of the windows to greet the fans. Pulling up less than a foot from the ring directly in front of GWD and Kane, Latino delights in making the vehicle bounce up and down, sounding the horn and generally showing off to all and sundry. Kane and GWD simply watch all this in a disinterested manner, biding their time.
Latino and Blaze hop out of the car; Latino thoughtfully locks it and tucks the key into his boot. Kane and GWD are an intimidating pairing, but Latino and Blaze find confidence from each other’s presence and they slide together into the ring. With the referee watching closely the two sides keep their distance; the referee takes the belts and Kane steps forward, indicating that he intends to start for his team. Latino steps forward to meet him but Blaze puts her hand out to stop him and after a very brief exchange of words, Latino moves back and Blaze comes to meet Kane in the centre. Kane is very slightly surprised and perhaps even a little amused, but he just gives a small shrug that says “it’s your funeral, love” and flexes his arms and fingers. With their partners dispatched to their corners, the referee gives the OK and the match begins.
Bell rings.
The odd couple pace around the ring, and after a few seconds Kane gets bored and makes a grab for Blaze with impressive speed for a man of his size. Blaze just barely slips aside, but she turns defence into attack by getting behind Kane and giving him a hard kick to the back of his knee joints before backing quickly away. The blow has little effect on Kane physically, but mentally he starts to get irritated and, seeing Blaze in one of the neutral corners he rushes forward, shoulder first. Blaze cannot get out of the ring in time, so she curls up into a ball and Kane drives himself into the turnbuckle. While Kane feels the effects of the collision, Blaze climbs up on to the post; balancing on one foot she swings a kick at Kane’s head. Kane though has predicted such a tactic and he catches Blaze’s leg; using his enormous power he swings Blaze around in a hammer – throw motion and she crashes to the mat back first. Kane takes malicious pleasure from the look on Latino’s face as he approaches Blaze, and Kane taunts him as he delivers one of his trademark chokeslams. Kane lazily goes for a pin, but Blaze forces her shoulder up after 2. With Blaze reeling from the impact moves, Kane roughly hurls her back into her own corner, and yells at Latino to tag himself in. Latino is furious and is itching to get at Kane, but now Blaze is also enraged by Kane’s disrespect of her. Without warning, Blaze stands back up, runs across the ring and springs forward on to her hands; from a vertical handstand she lets her legs fall forward a little before pushing off to drive both feet into Kane’s face as he comes to meet her. The suddenness of the blow takes Kane by surprise and he staggers back into his own corner; still burning with anger Blaze follows him and punches GWD off of the apron before laying down a series of punches and kicks to Kane’s gut. In her fury though Blaze becomes careless, and Kane quickly grabs and spins her to reverse the situation. Both Kane and GWD attack their trapped opponent until the referee breaks up the double team, and GWD indicates to Kane that he wants some personal payback for the previous events on Nitro. The tag is made, and GWD knows exactly what he wants to do; with a devious smile he lifts Blaze up into a torture rack hold. Blaze claws at GWD’s arm but his grip is too strong to break, and he grins as he slowly paces around the ring. After a couple of minutes, GWD tires of the move and he throws his load to the ground. Blaze lies still and GWD moves in for the cover, but just before 3 Blaze wrenches her shoulder and arm free and with the same movement pokes GWD in the eyes. Blaze scrabbles and tries to get to her corner, but GWD snags her by the foot and pulls her back. Smirking, GWD goes to apply the same ankle lock that Blaze had previously used to defeat him, but by doing so he gives her the opportunity she needs to twist free. This time Blaze rolls out of danger, leaving nothing for GWD to grab, and she finally makes the switch to bring Latino into the match for the first time. Latino literally hurls himself into the match; he leaps into a missile dropkick from his corner post and drives GWD down to the canvas. Immediately Latino tries for a pin; with two matches to wrestle in one night he is under pressure to wrap up the first as quickly as possible. GWD has no intention of helping him with this, and he kicks out strongly after a 2 count. The pair meet together and exchange punches briefly before Latino ducks under and whips himself against the ropes to build speed for a clothesline. GWD, like Kane, is well aware of Latino’s fondness for this kind of attack, and with great skill he counters Latino and propels him into a powerful spinebuster. GWD moves to follow this up, but Kane cannot contain his anger for a second longer and he roars to GWD to tag him in. GWD knows better than to cross Kane when he is in a rage, and the tag is made without delay.

Kane has waited patiently for his chance at revenge, and he proceeds to dominate the match with a ruthless efficiency. Using his size and power advantage he delivers a succession of slams and powerbombs, each time making sure that Latino does not get a second of recovery time. Kane pins, but Latino responds at 2.5. Undeterred, Kane resumes his attack and now adds a vicious piledriver to his strategy; another pin, and Latino just barely beats the 3 count. Kane picks his opponent up and prepares for a Darkside Slam, but this time Latino is not prepared to out up with it; he twists himself free before Kane can complete the setup, and runs to one of the posts; he climbs it and, to Kane’s fury, gives him the finger before moonsaulting off to knock both men to the ground. Kane is now totally livid, and he is determined to make sure that Latino not only loses the titles, but is in no state to compete for the US title either. As Latino staggers back to his feet, Kane charges and drives him back into the corner next to GWD; the move also catches out the referee and he is sandwiched between Latino and the post, rendering him quickly unconscious. With no referee to stop them, Kane and GWD again combine their attack and Latino slumps down; Blaze rushes in to help but Kane turns and lifts her up to toss her out of the ring over the top rope. GWD drops down off of the apron to keep Blaze occupied, while with a dark smile Kane gathers up the dazed Latino on to his shoulders and steps over all 3 ropes on to the apron; instead of throwing Latino down he steps out and across on to the hood of the parked lowrider, making the suspension sag under the combined weight of Kane and his foe. The crowd noise rises as Kane looks at the windshield of the car; his smile grows broader and more evil as he lifts Latino above his head to slam him through the glass….but as he does so, he fails to see that Blaze has managed to give GWD the slip and she runs forward across the ring, leaps up to the third rope and springboards into Kane from behind. Kane falls and slams chest – first into the wind screen, cracking it but not going through; because of Kane’s height Latino is thrown on to the car roof. As Kane lies on the windshield, Latino gets back to his feet and, with arms raised to the crowd, he leg drops onto his opponent and this time the glass caves in. Latino picks himself up and, seeing that GWD and Blaze are now fighting back in the ring, goes to help out; but as he does so, Kane sits up in the wreckage and pursues, a small stream of blood now flowing across his face and mask from a wound somewhere on his head. All four participants are back in the ring; Kane and GWD use their size advantage to try and pummel their opponents into submission, but working together Blaze and Latino draw them forward so that when the still – dazed Kane swings at Latino he nails GWD instead. GWD falls, and Blaze taunts Kane on the far side of the ring; as Kane turns Latino grabs his arm and whips him to his partner, who uses Kane’s own momentum to help her push him out between the ropes. Kane falls out and lands up against one of the announce desks; meanwhile, with GWD on the mat, Latino goes up to a post and launches into a frog splash that shakes the ring as it connects. Blaze gives the referee a shake before slipping out of the ring, and he manages to get back on hands and knees just in time to see Latino’s cover of GWD. Too dazed to remember who is supposed to be in the ring, the referee simply makes the 1-2-3 count before Kane is able to get back to the ring for the save.
Ginger: Here are your winners……and still WCW Tag Team Champions……DJ Blaze and Latino!
Latino quickly rolls off of GWD as Kane storms toward him; Latino slides out of the ring and retreats across the lowrider with Kane in hot pursuit. Kane catches up with him on the roof and slaps on a chokehold, but Blaze is not far behind and she leaps on to Kane’s back, wrapping her arms around his neck for a choke of her own. Kane staggers and releases Latino to concentrate on Blaze, and Latino drops down into the back of the vehicle; Kane finally dislodges Blaze and she drops down on to the arena floor, but the delay is just long enough for Latino to retrieve a large square metal case (the kind used to store vinyl records) from the flatbed of the lowrider next to the speakers. Releasing all of his anger at Kane, Latino swings and smacks Kane in the face at point blank range; the impact is enormous and Kane falls backwards on to the hood, putting a massive dent into it and shattering the front headlights. The crowd goes wild at all the destruction, and Latino hops down off of the roof; GWD has picked himself up in the ring, but seeing Kane out cold on the hood he does not try to continue the fight. The referee hands the belts back to Blaze and Latino, and they hold them high as they make their way back to the locker rooms.

Uncensored reaches the halfway point, and there is a brief delay as the wrecked lowrider is recovered and the ring prepared for match 5.
Ginger: The next match will be a handicap match; V3 will take on 2 opponents, to be revealed shortly; he needs to pin both of them in succession to be victorious. If either of his opponents pins him, V3 loses the match. If V3 is successful in pinning one opponent, that man will be eliminated and must leave the ring. Therefore, entering the arena first………from Las Vegas,V3!
Git Up by D12 hits and V3 walks out into the arena. He is obviously fired up by the grand setting and he greets fans on the way down to the ring. Once in position, V3 waits along with the rest of the arena to see who his mystery opponents will be.
“619” hits
Ginger: And now, presenting his opponents………..Stewartfan and Gooeygarth!
Stewart and Gooey enter together; V3 regards them calmly, although internally his mind is racing as he tries to devise a strategy to deal with the two powerful and talented opponents whom have been selected to take up his challenge. The pair enter, and the referee quickly gets the match started.
Bell Rings.
Stewart and Gooey waste little time in making their intentions known; they circle V3, and the challenger is left wondering which of his opponents will make the first move. Suddenly Gooey rushes forward for a shoulder block; V3 shifts to one side but walks straight into a Superkick from Stewart. Stewart and Gooey look pleased at the results of their combined strategy, but they have paid attention to the night’s earlier 2 on 1 match and are not prepared to take any risks. Stewart picks up V3 and hits a DDT, following up with a quick pin that V3 breaks after 2. V3 rolls aside before Gooey can take hold of him, and he retreats to the ropes; Stewart goes for a spear but V3 steps aside and Stewart dives gracefully out on to the floor. Gooey comes in and locks up with V3; V3 recognizes the delaying tactic and twists out, whipping Gooey into a corner and using a turnbuckle splash. V3 is tempted to try a bronco buster, but intuition serves him well and he turns and ducks just in time to avoid a lariat from the returning Stewart. Quickly V3 grabs Stewart as he passes and hits an atomic drop. As Stewart reels from this, V3 lifts him into a suplex and then goes for a pin of his own; he also gets a count of 2 before an irate Gooey disrupts his effort. Gooey decides to take matters into his own hands; he picks up V3 from the floor and carries him to a corner post. He sits him on top of this before climbing to the second rope and hitting an impressive superplex, cheered on by stewartfan. Gooey leans hard on V3 for the pin, and V3 has to summon all his strength to force a shoulder up just before the 3 count. As he lies on the mat, V3 begins to wonder if challenging 2 people at once was really the smartest move to make for his first WCW PPV. His musings are interrupted by Gooey stamping harshly on his chest, and shattered completely by a Springboard Moonsault leg drop combo from Stewart. V3 is dazed as his opponents haul him to his feet, but he hears that a large proportion of the crowd is still calling and cheering for him, and his self confidence starts to recover from the crowd’s continued faith in him. Gooey and Stewart perform a double team irish whip on V3 to a corner, and Gooey runs in – but V3 is rallying and Gooey gets a boot in the face. As Gooey staggers, V3 pushes him back to knock Stewart to the ground, and both of his opponents crash down in a heap. V3 absorbs the energy from the crowd as he goes to the turnbuckle and climbs up to the top; he waits a few seconds for his opponents to get up, and as he looks around at the crowd he sees numerous signs reading “V3!” and “The Ragin’ Azn = Ratings”. Gooey is the first to rise, and V3 launches off into a flying kick that nails him right in the face; Gooey is totally disorientated by the blow and he falls backward though the ropes to land hard on the outside mats. Without pausing to see what happened to Gooey, V3 sees his chance and takes it; as Stewart tries to clear his head V3 gathers him up and performs his I-G-S (German Suplex into Rock Bottom, landing on one knee). V3 pins with a leg hook, and the referee just makes it to 3 before Stewart can respond.
Ginger: StewartFan has been eliminated from the match!
Stewart kicks out angrily and tries to get hold of V3, but the referee is not going to stand for any nonsense and he orders Stewart to leave the arena without delay. Stewart remonstrates, and this allows Gooey to re – enter the ring armed with a steel chair; he cracks V3 around the head and discards the illegal item before the referee sees what is going on. Stewart finally leaves as a couple of backup referees appear to escort him away, and Gooey pins; Gooey thinks he has won but V3’s spirit is charged by the goodwill of the fans, his fans, watching in the arena and he pushes his shoulder up to beat the 3 count. Gooey is amazed by V3’s tenacity, but he is still set on winning the match and he lifts V3 for a piledriver. It connects and again Gooey pins, but V3 still will not give in and he raises an arm to the delight of the crowd. Gooey slams a fist into the mat in frustration, and getting to his feet he prepares for his most powerful move – the vertebreaker. Gooey tries to position V3, but his opponent struggles and frees himself from his grasp. V3 backs away and Gooey follows; Gooey swings a punch but V3 ducks and, slipping to one side, kicks him in the back to knock him down. Gooey hits the floor face first and V3 drops to his knees on his opponent’s back. Gooey groans, and V3 grabs his right leg and left arm, bending them backward for a variation on his Invertigo move. The fans cheer and Gooey grits his teeth; V3’s weight keeps him in place so that he cannot reach the ropes. Eventually, with a supreme effort, Gooey is able to roll over and displace V3, but the move has taken its toll and he tries weakly to stand. V3 hears the fans chanting “Ragin’ Azn! Ragin’ Azn!”, and an adrenaline rush surges through him; with a grin he punches Gooey back down to the mat and climbs up on to the turnbuckle. With a raised arm salute to the crowd, V3 jumps up and lands his trademark move perfectly; the referee makes the 1-2-3 count and the fans are ecstatic.
Ginger: Here is your winner……….V3!
Gooey is not exactly thrilled at being pinned, but his body aches from the Invertigo hold and he rolls out of the ring, leaving V3 to celebrate with the fans. V3 climbs the turnbuckles and gives the V-for-Victory sign; his win vindicates the faith of the fans, who have refused to abandon him despite his recent poor run of form.

Segment: High maintenance
Backstage, DJ Blaze is sitting on a packing case and examining the record case which Latino slammed into Kane after their successful title defence; the metal has a large dent in it and Blaze looks at it a little sadly.
Blaze: You know, this was a 21st birthday present from my sister……she had it engraved with my initials and everything. It’s going to cost me quite a bit to have it repaired.
The camera zooms out to show Latino; he looks a little grey in the face as if he’s just been told of a death in the family. He gives Blaze the look that men reserve for women when they have managed to misread a situation in the most spectacular way possible.
Latino: The case? You’re upset about your case? What about my CAR!!??!
The shot pulls back even further to reveal the wrecked lowrider, which is smoking slightly and leaking oil.
Latino: My beautiful lowrider…..why is it that when you’re near my cars they end up like this?
Blaze: Well you were the one that pushed Kane on to the hood.
Latino: Only after you kicked him into the windshield.
Blaze: So you would have preferred it if he’d slammed you through it instead?
Latino: Hrmph. Anyway, I can’t worry about it now…….I have to go and get ready for my US Title match. Catch you later, Mamacita.
Latino walks away out of shot; Blaze fiddles with the case until it pops open. She removes the contents and tuts as she finds one or two records are broken.
Off camera: What an appalling wreck. Of course now it matches its owner.
Blaze doesn’t turn around, but her expression darkens.
Blaze: Sometimes the price of victory can be high. You of all people should know that, Rose………you would do anything that you thought would help you to win.
The camera swivels to show Rose standing with her arms folded a short distance away.
Rose. You’re right, I am prepared to do whatever is necessary to get what I want. Which is why I’m going to take that TV Title tonight….. I wouldn’t expect a weak person like you to understand that.
Blaze: If you mean, would I sacrifice my ideals or betray my friends and colleagues for the sake of some shiny piece of metal, then you’re quite correct; if that is weakness then I am feeble indeed. But my soul is lighter and stronger for it; I’m sure you’d sell yours at the drop of a hat if you thought it would get you closer to that gold that you so desperately long for.
Blaze turns around and fixes Rose with a fierce stare.
Blaze: That is, of course, assuming that you’ve not already made that transaction?
Rose glares angrily back, but there is just a touch of discomfort in her eyes.
Rose: I don’t know why I’m still talking to you. I’ve got far more important things to be doing, like winning that title.
Rose turns and stalks away; as she goes, Blaze shakes her head, then calls after her:
Blaze: Every action has consequences, Rose, but some don’t reveal themselves until it’s too late for you to back out. If you dance with the devil, don’t expect to call the tune.
Rose pauses for just a fraction of a second, but she flips her hair and walks off.
Fade out.

Match 6 approaches, and the event crew brings out the ladders required. A metal baseball bat is suspended above the ring, and just above this the steel cage is waiting to be called into play.
Ginger: Our next contest is a special match, known as the Poco Loco Extreme! The match will begin as a ladder match, with the object being to retrieve the bat hanging before your eyes. As soon as the bat is claimed, the cage will automatically lower into place; the final winner of the match will be the first man to successfully propel his opponent through the cage wall, by any means. Throwing your opponent out of the cage over the top will not count as meeting this stipulation.
[/i] Suck my kiss by the Red Hot Chili Peppers hits [/i]
Ginger: Introducing first……from Charlotte NC……..Flea!
Flea gets a big cheer as he enters the arena. His face is a picture of composure as he enters the ring, but as he regards the ladder he suppresses a shudder at the memory of the last time he encountered such an object in a wrestling ring.
Faint by Linkin Park hits
Ginger: And his opponent, one of the World’s Greatest Poco Locos, from Long Island New York……….Edge!
Edge strides out into the spotlights, and takes pleasure from flipping off the crowd. With a custom – made match, and an opponent whom he has already defeated previously, his confidence is sky high.
Two ladders are placed by the ring, and the referee checks with the crew that all is in order; Flea and Edge stare one another out as the signal to begin the match is given.
Bell Rings.
Flea is set on repaying Edge for his loss on Nitro, and the big stage of the PPV suits him down to a tee. As the pair clash, Flea quickly takes control by handing down a few punches and kicks before hooking up for a suplex. While Edge is down, he continues with an elbow drop and then a leg drop in succession. For a split second Flea thinks about covering, then remembers that this would be pointless; with a little shale of his head he slips out of the ring and retrieves a ladder, pushing it on to the mat before climbing back on to the apron. As he does so, Edge springs back to his feet and runs over to clothesline him on to the floor. Edge picks up one end of the ladder and starts to pull it up into position, but Flea is quickly back in the ring and he grabs the other end. The two get into a tug – of – war for control of the ladder; Edge eventually wins out and he swings it to try and knock Flea down. Instead Flea pivots with one hand on the ladder to jump over it, and before Edge can drop the ladder Flea rushes up and gives him a big kick to the chin. With the crowd cheering him on, Flea sets up and delivers a tombstone to Edge, then rolls him to one side before finally getting the ladder set up. Flea begins to climb, and the noise volume rises as he nears the top; looking down though he sees Edge starting to climb up behind him, and gripping the sides of the ladder with his feet Flea slides down, fireman – style, and cannons into Edge, knocking both of them back to the mat. The fall stuns both men a little, but they are soon back on their feet and they clash together again as violently as before. Edge is more than a little annoyed, and he lays into Flea with his fists before hitting a DDT. Flea stays alert and he rolls away before Edge can follow the move up, ducking behind the ladder for protection. The pair circle the ladder a few times, then suddenly Edge makes a break and hurriedly tries to climb up it before Flea can do the same; Flea waits for him to climb up about two thirds of the way before he pushes the ladder over sideways. Edge does not panic; instead he rides the ladder down until he reaches a safe height, and then jumps down to the floor. The extra space around the ring protects the audience as the ladder smashes down, and Edge is swiftly back into the match. Flea tries for a superkick as Edge approaches him, but Edge ducks it and instead slips behind Flea to apply a sleeperhold. Flea fights, but Edge is determined to hold on and gradually Flea sags in his arms. Draping his opponent over the middle rope, Edge hits a 619 for insurance, and with Flea now motionless he turns his attention back to the ladder. It does not take long for Edge to get the ladder back up, but the fall has damaged it and is rather unstable as Edge carefully starts to climb. Meanwhile Flea stirs below; he sees Edge on the shaky ladder, but rather than push it over again he slides out of the ring and retrieves the second, undamaged ladder. Flea sets it up alongside the first, and rapidly ascends; Edge sees the threat but cannot push the second ladder away without also toppling his own and by the time Edge has reached the top of his ladder Flea is only a couple of feet behind. Edge grasps the metal bat, and Flea also puts a hand on it; a second tug of war now kicks off for control of the weapon. Finally Flea pokes Edge in the eye with his free hand, and manages to wrest the bat away; a klaxon is heard and the steel cage starts to descend. Flea sets about beating Edge with the bat, but Edge makes a stunning leap to the cage and rides it back down to the ring. Flea slides back down the ladder before Edge can reach it to make it unstable, and stage 2 of the match begins as the cage comes to rest on the apron. Space is now restricted in the ring, as the cage traps the two ladders within it. Flea approaches Edge with the bat in hand, and takes a swing; Edge ducks away behind a ladder, and then kicks it forward to connect with Flea’s head. Flea drops the bat and grabs his head; Edge arms himself and gets in a couple of shots. Flea grabs the bat and the pair struggle for control until they both lose their grip and it skitters away. Edge turns to see where it goes, but Flea capitalizes on this and puts Edge in a headlock before dropping to the ground to drive his head into the mat. With Edge stunned briefly, Flea lifts him above his head and with a short run – up hurls him against the cage wall. The cage shudders violently, but there is no break and Edge rolls back from the impact. Despite the blow, Edge tries to rise; Flea kicks him in the head and then starts to climb up the cage. Once he reaches the top, Flea balances gingerly on the thin wire rim; then, to gasps from the crowd, he launches into his famous shooting star press. Edge is still woozy, but he just manages to evade and Flea smacks into the canvas with a great deal of force. Edge gets up and takes advantage of Flea’s mistake; lifting him on to his back, facing down and forward, Edge gets close to the wire and then propels Flea forward to impact head first. Flea’s head makes a small dent but there is not sufficient velocity to break the wire, and Edge sinks down on one knee breathing hard from the effort of the throw. After a few moments, Flea and Edge stagger to their feet, the repeated impacts from the bat and the cage taking their toll on both men. Still neither is prepared to give an inch, and Flea attacks again with a crossbody that drives Edge against one of the ladders. There are signs of a developing black eye on Edge to complement the other effects of the match; now though he evades Flea’s next attack and pushes him to the ropes. Putting one foot on Flea’s back close to the neck, Edge pulls on the rope to either side and restricts his ability to breathe; the referee comes over and, not being entirely happy with the move, orders Edge to release it. Edge argues loudly with the referee; as he does so, the referee is distracted from the stealthy approach to ringside of the other Poco Locos, Rey and Lita. Rey hoists Lita on his shoulders, and she produces the Pocos’ secret weapon – a pair of wire cutters. Lita snips a number of key joints in the cage wire to weaken it, and then she and Rey duck down out of sight next to the ring; Lita bangs the cutters against the ring post as a signal to Edge, and he releases Flea from the hold just in time as the referee is on the verge of disqualifying him. Edge brings Flea to the centre of the ring and tries to lift him for another throw, but Flea struggles free and gives Edge a powerful left hook to stun him. Flea lifts him into a Fireman’s carry and throws him with all his might…….at an undamaged wall of the cage. The impact dents the wire, but does not break it and Edge tumbles painfully back into the ring. Edge stands back up, and Flea rushes forward to clothesline him; but disaster strikes for Flea as Edge counters and sends him into a back body drop. Flea smashes into the weakened cage panel, and the wire gives way, dumping him out of the cage and on to the arena floor. The bell rings, and Edge raises his arms in victory as Rey and Lita stand up and applaud him.
Ginger: Here is your winner………Edge!
Edge climbs out of the cage through the newly created hole, and the 3 Poco Locos celebrate as one. They taunt Flea as he picks himself up; Flea looks at the suspiciously uniform break in the cage, then at Rey and Lita, and knows that somehow he has been screwed. The crowd gives the Pocos heat for their actions, but they simply laugh it off as they head backstage.

It takes a few minutes for the event crew to clear up the debris from the preceding match; soon though the ring is back in a presentable state and Ginger is able to get the show back underway.
Ginger: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the WCW US Championship!
Razor Ramon’s Theme hits
Ginger: Entering first, the challenger……from New York City, Latino!
Despite having competed in the gruelling tag match earlier, Latino looks to be well recovered and he takes time to meet and greet the fans lining the entranceway. The lowrider is obviously left backstage, awaiting assessment for Latino’s insurance claim after the previous matches’ events. Latino reaches the ring and he climbs on the turnbuckles to have another look at the fans who have supported him all the way in WCW.
Wait and Bleed by Slipknot hits
Ginger: And his opponent, the defending champion……from Cameron, North Carolina, PDogg!
Pdogg enters, wearing his trademark Matrix style cape and sunglasses and looking every inch a champion. He also receives a lot of support from the fans, and like Latino he climbs the turnbuckles to salute them when he enters the ring, displaying his title belt with pride. Latino and PDogg come face to face in the centre of the ring; PDogg removes his shades and the two look each other in the eye. It’s hard to tell what passes through their minds, but after a few seconds PDogg gives a small nod and Latino reciprocates. PDogg sheds his stage costume and the referee removes the title belt for safekeeping; the pair circle and the referee gives the all clear for the match to get underway.
Bell Rings.
Both men start the match aggressively, trading blows with one another. Evenly matched in terms of stature, PDogg deals out more damage with each hit but Latino is marginally faster and has a better strike rate. PDogg whips Latino to the ropes; he swipes at Latino as he returns but Latino ducks underneath and rebounds off of the opposite ropes. He uses his momentum to spear PDogg to the floor; his shoulders go down but the referee does not even have time to bend over before PDogg is back up. Keeping the match at a brisk pace, Latino whips PDogg to the corner and hurtles in for a turnbuckle splash; it connects, but PDogg reaches out and swings Latino around so that he is driven back – first into the post. PDogg starts punching, but Latino blocks and climbs up on to the second rope to get his head out of range. This gives PDogg an opening, and climbing up alongside Latino he superplexes off of the second rope; the impact stuns Latino slightly and PDogg quickly covers. The referee almost reaches 2 before Latino forces his way out. The pace of the match is a little too quick for PDogg’s liking, and as he and Latino meet again he moves to slow things down somewhat. PDogg is one of the fed’s suplex specialists, and he gives Latino a personal demonstration of his repertoire. Ensuring that Latino does not escape between moves, PDogg uses a succession of techniques – standard suplexs, Germans, Reverse, and finally an impressive Northern Lights variation. Latino’s head spins and PDogg further shows his skill with a cradle pin; a count of 2.5 is made before Latino manages to kick out. Looking for a little breathing space, Latino slides out of the ring; PDogg goes to follow him but then changes his mind and decides to conserve his energy. Latino recovers, and calls to PDogg to bring it on, but PDogg just smiles and bides his time. With the referee counting, Latino climbs back up and steps through the ropes. Latino starts to run toward PDogg and PDogg comes to meet him, but at the last second Latino lifts his foot into a superkick and PDogg goes down hard. Both men are now starting to tire somewhat, but Latino perseveres and quickly he moves to Pdogg’s legs to apply a sharpshooter. The move locks in and PDogg feels it; he fights to reach the ropes and Latino fights equally hard to keep him in place. Finally, after a considerable struggle, PDogg reaches his goal and Latino has to break the hold; the pair separate and the efforts that both are expending are clearly written across their faces. Nevertheless they immediately come back together and the match goes on unabated.

As PDogg and Latino continue their closely fought battle, a few people in the audience close to the entrance notice that PDogg’s girlfriend Dream has appeared on the stage; she quietly makes her way down to the ring, and is followed almost immediately by Latino’s partner Blaze. Both ladies have pads of paper and black markers with them, and they settle down together on one side of the ring, leaning against the safety barrier. The referee looks carefully, but neither woman makes any attempt to interfere or distract the participants in the ring. PDogg gets Latino in a headlock and proceeds to give him the appropriately named bulldog; as both men rise the girls take their markers and write on the pads. The reason for these is revealed as the camera shows the papers to be scorecards; PDogg’s move is awarded a 7 by Blaze and an 8 by Dream. PDogg goes for a clothesline, but Latino counters into a back drop which earns an 8 from both the judges. At this point PDogg and Latino see what is going on, and they both smile at the ladies on the outside before turning their attentions back to the match. They lock together and PDogg manages to get the best of it, setting up and hitting his trademark PDG (doublearm DDT). PDogg goes for a cover but Latino rolls away and back to his feet; the pair meet again and this time Latino responds with a powerful diamond cutter. Latino also tries for a pin but PDogg breaks before 2; the crowd is loving it all and the girls hold up signs that read “Wooooooooo” and “Hell Yeah!”. Latino runs to the ropes and springs into a splash from the top rope; Pdogg rolls forward to evade and Latino responds by using a roll of his own to break his fall. Both men are back on their feet almost simultaneously, and the athletic display gets a rating of “Toasty!” from the ladies. Next PDogg breaks out another of his awesome suplexes; as he goes for a cover he sees Dream holding up a sign that says “Mine’s better” and grinning. Latino escapes the cover at 2 and catches PDogg with a neckbreaker; upon landing he also pins and receives an identical 2 count. Blaze giggles and adds a sign that reads “Ditto” to the one being held by Dream. Pausing the match for a moment, the guys stand and fold their arms in mock annoyance; PDogg wags a finger and the girls do their best to look apologetic, although this is not altogether successful. The girls put the pads to one side, and they watch from ringside as the match reaches its climax. The effect of 2 matches in one night is beginning to take its toll on Latino, but his spirit is as strong as ever and he springs from the ropes into a hurracanrana on PDogg. Latino pins again, and PDogg responds just after 2, his incredible stamina now coming into play. Latino moves to maintain his momentum, and shaking his shoulders he pushes PDogg back with a flurry of punches. Many of them connect, but PDogg controls his retreat and absorbs the damage; as Latino tries to drive him back with his shoulder, PDogg slips to one side and Latino ends up ramming his own shoulderblade into the post. As he staggers back, PDogg scoops him up and lifts him into the Bad Blood (Canadian Backbreaker); PDogg applies as much pressure as he can to Latino’s spine and the challenger flails, desperately trying to escape the hold. PDogg maintains the move for almost a whole minute, even though he is badly fatigued; then, he bends forward and manipulates his opponent into an altered fireman’s carry, with Latino face up across his shoulders. PDogg falls sideways and drives Latino’s head and shoulders into the mat; with shoulders drooping he pins, but somehow Latino raises a shoulder just before 3. Running on pure adrenaline, Latino stands and counters PDogg’s attempts to grab him; instead he manages to get his opponent into a front facelock and he delivers a vertical suplex. PDogg recognizes the triple suplex combo and tries to get free, but Latino quickly twists and hits the second part of the move. The crowd roars as the two struggle on the mat; PDogg almost extracts himself but Latino holds on through pure willpower, and the noise volume becomes extreme as he lands the third and final suplex. PDogg is reeling from the combined impacts and his eyes roll; Latino drapes himself into the cover and the arena counts 1,2, - PDogg hurls an arm in the air and the crowd is going berserk. Latino’s face is drained of colour, he can’t quite believe that PDogg is still able to respond; with his opponent on the mat he drags himself up to a corner post for a final frog splash. PDogg though somehow gets to his feet and follows him; the ladies are screaming along with the fans as the exhausted pair struggle at the very top of the post. For a second it looks as if Latino will dislodge PDogg, but at the very last second PDogg gets into place and launches them both into space using his “In the Doghouse” (top rope diamond cutter) finisher. Cameras flash everywhere as the two hit the canvas; for a few seconds they both lie still and then finally PDogg rolls over to pin his opponent. The referee counts 1-2-3 with practically the whole audience, and a shockwave of sound washes over the ring as the bell rings.
Ginger: Here is your winner….and still US Champion…….PDogg!
The referee brings the title belt over to PDogg and hands it back to him as Dream helps him to sit up. PDogg is still light – headed, but he smiles at Dream and kisses her gently. A couple of feet away, Latino watches and then stares at the floor, all the pain of the match amplified by the sting of defeat. Blaze joins him; there is just the glimmer of a tear in her eye, and she feels her partner’s disappointment just as keenly as if it were her own. No words are needed; kneeling, the two embrace and Latino rests his head on Blaze’s shoulder. After a few moments Latino looks up and sees PDogg standing next to him. PDogg offers his hand and he helps Latino back to his feet; the two consider each other for a second, and then the pair congratulate each other on a great match, which gets a loud seal of approval from the fans. Latino and Blaze slide out of the ring, and PDogg climbs all four corners to celebrate his victory as the fans chant his name.

The audience has been taken on an emotional rollercoaster ride by the action of the PPV, and the atmosphere only becomes more intense as the WCW Championship Match approaches. Weaponry befitting a Hardcore rules match is distributed around the ring, and the gleam of metal underneath the apron cover hints at as yet unrevealed items.
Ginger: We have reached the evening’s penultimate contest, it is scheduled for one fall under hardcore rules and it is for the WCW Championship!
Drowning Pool’s “The Game” hits and spotlights focus on the entrance
Ginger: Introducing first, the challenger…….from Upstate New York, Bladeshadow!
Bladeshadow walks out into the glare of the spotlights; the fans whoop and cheer as he performs a quick burst of ninja kicks and backflips. Blade comes to the ring and paces around, looking at the crowd; then he turns all his attention back to the entrance.
F.Y.I. by Lightweight Holiday hits
Ginger: And his opponent, the current WCW Champion………DownWithBush!
A stream of pyros goes off at the entrance and Blade waits for his hated rival to appear; suddenly though a cry goes up from the crowd as DWB rushes from behind the announce tables, catapults into the ring and cracks Blade on the back of the head with the championship belt. With his declaration of intent made, DWB throws the belt to one side and viciously attacks Blade as the referee signals for the bell.
Bell Rings.
DWB gets in a few hits on Blade before he rolls away; Blade’s eyes flash with anger and he picks up a cinder block from the ring, hurling it at DWB. The block hits the post and shatters into a multitude of fragments, just missing DWB’s head as it descends. Blade moves in and quickly grasps DWB for a slam, throwing him down on to the concrete pieces. DWB holds his back in pain as he gets up, but he stays calm and as Blade approaches a second time he whips him to the corner and lays down a string of kicks and knees to his gut. Searching around for a weapon in the immediate area, DWB chances upon a set of brass knuckles; he gives Blade a mighty punch and Blade slips down the post, a thin trickle of blood seeping from his forehead. DWB sneers as he sees the results of his attack, but Blade quickly wipes the smile off of his face; pulling himself back up he jumps into a Lou Thesz Press and crushes the air out of DWB’s lungs. The referee goes to count, but DWB quickly pushes Blade off of him and the two stalk each other around the ring. DWB takes another swing with his brass knuckles, but Blade rolls aside and collects a trash can lid as he does so; as he rolls back to a standing position he beats DWB around the head. The lid is thin, and as DWB aims another blow Blade raises the lid to protect himself; DWB punches right through it, giving himself an interesting 80s style fashion accessory. As DWB battles to remove the offending object, Blade slips out of the ring and pulls out a steel chair; he is re – entering the ring just as DWB gets the broken lid off of his arm, and he throws it like a Frisbee to smack Blade on his already injured forehead. Blade drops the chair and DWB drags him down to the mat; the referee is able to reach 2 before Blade kicks away his opponent. DWB looks for a new weapon, but Blade interrupts and uses his superb kicking skills to force his opponent back to the ropes. Blade delivers a final kick to DWB’s chin and he topples backwards through the ropes; unfortunately for him he lands on the steel chair dropped earlier by Blade. With DWB on the floor, Blade springboards off of the top rope towards his foe, but DWB shifts to one side and Blade lands chest – first on the chair. DWB reaches behind him and his hand alights on a baseball bat; grinning, he sweeps it downward and beats Blade on the back and shoulders. Blade hauls himself to his feet; he glances at the chair but DWB has it pinned with his foot. DWB swings the bat again, but this time Blade catches it and a power struggle ensues for control of the weapon. Blade wins, and he chases DWB around the ring; after a circuit and a half Blade catches up with DWB and smashes the bat on his head. DWB drops like a sack of potatoes, and Blade rolls him back into the ring; he pins, but DWB raises his shoulder after 2.5. Now DWB is really starting to get mad; he has a bleeding cut on the back of his head that has left a small mark on the ring and fury drives him forward. Blade tries to dodge DWB’s fists and feet, but DWB is relentless and eventually he stuns Blade enough to hit a DDT. Without a pause, DWB follows up with his favoured Magnum driver, and while Blade reels he goes for a roll – up. A count of 2 is given before Blade makes his escape, and with both having given and received several hard knocks they circle again and glare bitterly at one another; the injury that each has inflicted on the other merely drives both to increase their brutality.
