ACW New Year’s Bash Thursday Night Meltdown January 3rd, 2008 --------------------------------------------
Two on Three Handicap Match Andrew Starr & Jonny Hughes vs Silencio, Jin, & Libertines
For weeks and weeks Andrew Starr and Jonny Hughes have engaged in a rivalry for the Entertainment Championship, which most recently ended up in a tag team main event for Winter's Discontent. But from what it seems, the feud isn't over there. The unlikely duo will have to co-exist when going up against the trio of newcomers to ACW. Jin, Silencio, and Libertines are all looking ot make names for themselves in ACW and this could be the stepping stone to greatness for them if they were able to pin either of their opponents. Will Hughes and Starr be able to introduce the newbies to what ACW's all about, or will they newcomers begin to etch their name in ACW for the start of 2008?
--------------------------------------------
ACW Light Heavyweight Championship: SS vs Entourage Lumberjack Match Jay Zero vs Ricky Falcon
This brief rivalry got a bit hardcore in 2007, when these two faced off in a brutal Barbed Wire No Ropes Match for the Entertainment Championship over the summer. But since then, Falcon has seemed to fell from the pinacle of midcardom while Jay Zero has ascended to the level of main event in just a few short months. But now Falcon is ready to make his way back up to the top and he just may do it with the Senatorial Stable on his side. Zero however won't let the belt be taken from him that easy, and he'll have the members of the Entourage to support him in his corner. Will stable will reign supreme by the end of this match?
--------------------------------------------
ACW International Championship Jon Taylor vs Rattlesnake
In 2006, on the first Meltdown of the year, Santiago Rivera was crowned new International Champion. In 2007, it was Jason Freeman being named the new Entertainment Champion. For the past two years on the first of the new year, at least one title has changed - but while this applies for all champions defending tonight, it's especially important for the newcomer Jon Taylor. Within his short tenure in ACW, Jon Taylor managed to topple the longest reigning International Champion with the gold on the line - but now comes the real test. In arguably his most important match to date, he goes up against a former International Champion and Emperor of the Ring, Rattlesnake. Will his first defense be his last? Or will the Triangle of Perfection secure him another big victory?
--------------------------------------------
Main Event Part 1: Unsanctioned Street Fight Jason Freeman vs Thunderkiss
Jason Freeman waged war against Thunderkiss when he decided to take his exit from The Entourage, but not before giving Thunderkiss a going away present. At Winter's Discontent, Thunderkiss managed to defeat Jason Freeman after fighting two other men - something which Freeman has GOT to be fuming about. These two have fought many times in the past, but none of those matches pale in comparison to the epic encounter for the New Years Bash. Will Jason Freeman start 2008 of right and make this "The Year of the Freeman", or will Thunderkiss shut him up once and for all? --------------------------------------------
Main Event Part 2 BK London vs Jake Cheng
BK London made his triumphant return to ACW at Winter's Discontent, going straight after the man who took him out - Adrian Flamingo. But before he can get in the ring one on one with the man he hates, he must fight a rival from his past. In 2007, BK London and Jake Cheng fought over a series of months culminating in a fantastic match at Seven Deadly Sins. Jake Cheng, who is also making his return to the squared circle tonight, doesn't want his return to be tainted with a loss - especially with his sights set on the ACW Heavyweight Championship. Who will cap off the new year right?

The show opens with possibly one of the biggest pyro shows in ACW to date. As the stage looks like it’s about to explode, the fans in the sold out ACW Arena go absolutely nuts for the return of ACW into the new year. And why shouldn’t they be? With the fallout from Winter’s Discontent and this loaded card from top to bottom, it’s sure to be one hell of an evening.

Segment: Taking matters into my own hands (Credit: BK)
The first shot into the show we see the very familiar face of Chairman Gingerdude, and what a better way to open the first show of the new year than with the Chairman himself. But he doesn't seem too happy, he's staring at something off screen - but at the moment we exactly don't know what. As the camera pulls out to get a wider shot, we see he's looking across his desk to none other than BK London.
Like at Winter's Discontent, the fans nearly blow the roof off the top of the arena with the pop for the former ACW Heavyweight Champion's presence. Neither man are speaking to each other, but they continue to stare at each other. All is silent, until Gingerdude decides to start this dialogue off first.
Ginger: It's good to have you back on the roster BK.
BK doesn't respond, infact, he continues to stare grimacingly at Ginger. What's so good about being back? Punishing his body twice a week until whatever time he decides to take off again. Having to deal with people attacking him from behind and hitting him over the head with steel chairs among other things? The only reason he really came back to ACW was to come after Adrian Flamingo, and finish the job he started at Winter's Discontent. With that thought running solely through his mind, BK finally responds after a few awkward moments of silence between the two.
BK: ...I want Adrian Flamingo, tonight.
Another burst of cheers from the sold out crowd after that brief statement.
Ginger: Listen B-
BK: - No small talk. Do I have him in a match tonight? Or don't I?
Ginger: The answer is no, and besides, you already have a match with Jake Cheng tonight.
BK: I don't want Jake, I want Flamingo - and I want him TONIGHT!
Ginger: Well the answer is NO! We've promoted this big main event for 3 weeks now, and there is no way in hell I'm just going to change it. Tonight, you face Jake Cheng and that's FINAL!
BK: ....fine.
BK rises up from his seat before making his way out of the locker room. Both the fans and even Ginger himself are a bit puzzled to the reason why BK London just simply accepted his fate for tonight instead of arguing it some more. He was known for being headstrong, but that wasn't the case. Could this be a sign of new things from BK for 2008, or will the old BK rear his head and come into play before the night is over.
BK closes the door behind him as he exits and his signature smirk appears on his face as he walks down the corridor.
Fade Out.

Segment: More than meets the eye… (Credit: Silencio) With a new year comes new dreams. Hope, the four letter word that has been Silencio's motto since he was eighteen years of age, course if you've been watching his promos you know that hope was just a fantasy. Silencio's life was shit, but ever since he was under contract to ACW, Silencio's life has never been better. I guess I've been saying that a bit too much, so let's just foward to Janurary Third. Two Thousand and Eight, the new year. Silencio celebrated not only New Years, but Christmas with ACW, the first time Silencio was with people on the holidays. Silencio couldn't have been more happier as the scene we are looking at now is in the locker room. Silencio is taping his hands for a warm up match as he has his new Chaos Theroy tights on. As Silencio finishes taping his hands, he decides to do some push ups. However, knocking is heard at the door.Silencio - ¿Quién es? (Who is it?) Person - Excuse me? The person seems to be female, judging from the voiceSilencio - Uh...c-come...in. The door opens as Charlotte King walks into view. She has a microphone in hand and a cameraman right behind her. They both walk towards Silencio. King looks back at the cameramanCharlotte King - Shouldn't we get a translator? Cameraman - Well he speaks some English. Silencio - Is...s-something wrong? Charlotte King - Oh! You understand English? Cameraman - I just said that.... Silencio - Some. I understand the basic. Charlotte King - That'll have to do. Silencio - Well...what are you here right now for? Charlotte King - We want to interview you on your thoughts about your match. Silencio - Well.... Charlotte King - Something wrong? Silencio - Well...I really don't have much to say. Hughes defeated me in December and I beat Jin to garner my first win. I really don't have anything to say about Starr and Libertines. Charlotte King - Hm....that's all? Silencio - Yes, that-- Excuse Me
A man is standing at the doorway. Silencio looks over King's left shoulder as King turns around, as does the cameramanMan - Mr.Silencio? Silencio - Si? Something wrong? Man - These two men were looking for you. Silencio - Bring them in. The man moves out of the way and off screen as a gigantic man, at least 7'5 walks into the room. The 7'5 man has long jet black hair and an extremely well built figure with a big chin as a man, about Silencio's size, with long black dreadlocks walks into the room. Silenci's eyes buldge out, looking like they are about to fall out of their sockets. The man with dreadlocks opens up his arms wideADRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Silencio - OH Silencio - MY Silencio - FUCKING Silencio – GOD End Segment

Segment: A Grand Opening (Credit: Jin)
Jin is standing outside a large, golden building. He is on a raised platform with people all around it. Jin has a wide grin across his face, shared by the man next to him.
Man: Well done, you found the funds for the club!
Jin grins at the crowd before moving to the edge of the platform.
Jin: I am here to welcome you to the eastern palm, reopened and renamed. As you may know, my father died while in the process of buying this club. However I found the money to buy it, yaddey yaddey ya, and here I am!
The crowd applaud Jin as he steps down and opens the golden doors. People slowly walk in and look around. The carpet is a gleaming purple and so are the walls. A large chandelier is hanging down over a flat screen T.V. Te back wall has a portrait of Jin's father on it, smiling at the clubbers. Jin walks up a flight of stairs into a VIP area were many business men and woman are. They all have neat clothes and hair, making them look rich, which in all fairness is probably true. A small man reaches Jin first.
Small: Congratulations on the opening, we predict that you will have one hundred percent of your investment by tomorrow night.
Jin grins as a young woman runs up and hugs him.
Woman: Well done, well done!
She sits down as a taller, fitter man wearing sports gear grins at him.
Sporty: Tonight you have your second match, you are with Silencio and Libertines.
Jin: Oh, well that should not be a problem.
Sporty: Against two of ACW's finest? I don't think so! You'd better get the win tonight, you aren't living up to some of the hype.
Jin: Fuck the haters!
All the people turn to look at Jin.
Jin: Who cares about them, I can take everyone of them down, like I will my opponents tonight!
With that Jin leaves, people still surprised at his outburst.

He slides into the ring and poses for the fans before removing his jacket and draping his towel over the turnbuckle as he awaits the start of the match.Lights quickly blink out, and the opening chords of "Are You Dead Yet?" by Children of Bodom blare through the Alphatron. Strobe lights blink in time with the bass of the song, primarily in time with the drummers strikes. The first scream from Alexi Laiho rings loud as the primary lights begin to come back on. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!Main lighting flickers on and off along with the guitar riffs as the intro continues for a few seconds longer before leading into the lyrics. Several spotlights circle into center stage, where Andrew Starr is standing with his back to the crowd. His arms are flung outwards from his body, and head tilted up. Spinning around to face the ring, he taunts opponents and those in attendance as he makes his way to the ring. Starr reaches the ring by now and has rolled in. He crackes the joints in his neck, and jumps back and forth a bit to keep himself moving. The music dies out and Starr settles in ready to wrestle.[/center] The lights dim as an eerie feeling of depression and sorrow is felt throughout the entire ACW Arena. Blue lights are shun (Undertaker Style) as the arena suddenly gets cold. Just then, pyro erupts as "Revolution Deathsqaud" by DragonForce hits the PA System as the lights go back to normal. Silencio makes his way out from the back and walks out onto the stage. Silencio stops and looks from left to right as he looks up at the sky and points with both of his index fingers as he then walks to the ring Silencio ignores the fans, even though they cheer for him, he is focused only on his match. Silencio walks up the stairs and gets into the ring. Silencio gets up on the second rope of the bottom left turnbuckle and points up to the sky. He then looks out into the crowd and then jumps down. He then waits and sits down in the same corner, waiting for the match to start.
The opening beats of Empire by Kasabian blasts out as 'The Silent Assassin' Jin makes his way to the ring. Jin roles in, spits gold mist up, and poses.
"Time for heroes" by the Libertines plays. Libertines comes walking down to the ring looking at the fans.~!~DING,DING,DING~!~ Starr and Hughes squabble about who will go first and its’ Hughes that takes advantage of the situation by slapping Starr on his shoulder and entering the ring when he isn’t looking. On the other side the decision has come a bit easier as Jin steps out and awaits his opponent. Hughes smugly waves on a grapple and Jin obliges. Together they struggle around the center of the ring and eventually Hughes puts Jin in a headlock and snaps him across his body and down to the mat into a chinlock! Hughes applies the pressure but Jin isn’t one to sit by idly! He uses his feet to get vertical and then pushes himself off the ropes! Hughes and Jin go falling back, and when the dust settles, Jin is on top of Hughes in a pinning maneuver! ONE!
TWO!!
T... KICK OUT!!! Hughes kicks out and he isn’t happy about being out wrestled! He rises to his feet, but before he can attack, he is tagged from the outside by Starr! The blind tag by Starr has Hughes LIVID! He tries to argue with Andy but he will have none of it as he focuses upon his opponent! Jin rolls under a Andrew Starr clothesline, hits the ropes and bounces back with a huge elbow that rattles Starr’s head! Rolling to his corner Jin completely ignores the tag request by Silencio and instead tags in Libertines! As he takes his place on the outside, Silencio gives Jin a shove as he wants to know why he wasn’t tagged in! Silencio: Are you blind? Didn’t you see my hand?! Jin: He was closer and I suggest you do not lay another hand upon me my friend. “Fast” Eddie Edison: Now it appears that Silencio has a problem with Jin! Maxwell McNally: If this keeps up this match is going to quickly going to split into two other contests. Libertines leaps onto Starr and puts him in an arm bar and drags him down to the mat! Having enough of being tossed around, Starr throws a shoulder block into Libertines and that rattles him long enough for the ‘Raj bodyguard to gain advantage! Starr lifts Libertines up off the mat and tosses him into the ropes! As he comes back Starr blasts him with the MOSHPIT SLAM and sends him into next week! Libertines lays prone on the mat and Starr dishes out more pain as he drops a series of elbows on him! Libertines doesn’t get the rest as he is picked up and placed onto Starr’s shoulder! Andrew drops down and rams him into the nearest corner which happens to be his own! Once again, and you guessed it, Hughes makes a blind tag from the outside! Andrew Starr: What the hell are you doing?!Jonny Hughes: Shut up and get to the outside! It isnt until referee Makabe gets involved that Starr goes quietly. Meanwhile, Hughes is unloading stomps all over Libertines causing him to make an effort to tag out! He will not get his wish as he is lifted up into the air and brought down across Hughes’ knee for a back breaker, then into a STO, a maneuver called THE SHOWPIECE! Hughes quickly covers Libertines! ONE!

Libertines kicks out and once again tries to escape! Having other plans, Hughes reaches out and grabs him by his ankle! As he goes to slap on an ankle lock, Libertines twists his body until its on its back and kicks Hughes right off of him! Leaping to the corner, he tags in the outstretched hand of Silencio! In comes Silencio and he is ready to unload on Hughes! Taking Hughes from behind, he slaps on a LUNGBLOWER and drives the air completely out of Hughes’ body! This leaves him wide open for a SILENT SHIFT, a move that very well put this match away as Silencio drives Hughes’ chin into the canvas! Rolling on top of him, Silencio goes for the cover! ONE!
TWO!!
THRE... KICK OUT!!! “Fast” Eddie Edison: Almost had him! Silencio goes back on the attack as he drives his knee into the small of Hugh’s back several times and then slaps on a Boston Crab for the combo! He has it sunk on good and Hughes struggles to get to the ropes. The crowd comes alive as fans for both sides cheer on their man to either escape or win! Silencio’s grip slips a bit and Hughes takes full advantage of it! He ends up driving Silencio and himself to the ropes and within seconds Hughes is latched on - causing for the hold to be broken! Though his body is thriving in pain, Hughes overcomes it as he props himself up onto his feet so he can drive off anymore attacks by Silencio! Knowing full well that he needs to tag out, Andrew Starr reaches over the ropes and screams for his partner to tag him in! Andrew Starr: Tag me in, HURRY!Hughes completely IGNORES Starr and continues the fight by himself. On the apron Starr fumes to himself but has no other choice but to watch on. Seeing Hughes’ mistake, Silencio goes to capitalize! He runs full blast at the Shooter but Hughes sidesteps and watches Silencio’s momentum carry him into the ropes! As soon as he bounces back, Hughes slaps him in an ANACONDA VICE! However, Silencio’s quickness wins out as he drops to a knee and avoids the lock! From his position, he hooks the leg of Hughes and puts him in a fireman’s carry! He launches Hughes off his shoulders and causes him to go crashing down upon his knees as he falls to his back, a little move he calls the 4'33! Hughes is completely out of it and Silencio goes for the win - HOWEVER - as he rolls to his feet he is tagged OUT by ... “Fast” Eddie Edison: Jin just tagged Silencio out! Maxwell McNally: What the heck is he thinking? Silencio cannot believe it! He turns around and launches another shove to Jin’s chest. Silencio: What the hell is your problem!?! Jin: You. FFFFFFFFFFSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTT!!! Crowd: OHHHHH!! Jin unloads large amounts of GREEN MIST directly into the face of Silencio! Instantly downed, Silencio can no longer get in Jin’s way and that’s just fine with the Silent Assassin. As Jin approaches Hughes, he fails to realize that his squabble with Silencio has given the Shooter the appropriate time he needs to make a recovery! Reaching down, Jin leaves himself completely open as he does not expect any retaliation whatsoever! Hughes goes into instant attack mode and latches onto Jin for a STO! He drives him down into the mat, instantly Knocking him out in the process! Hughes quickly repositions his body on top of Jin’s and the referee does the rest of the work! ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!! METLDOWN WINNERS: JONNY HUGHES & ANDREW STARR! Hughes gets his hand raised immediately but will not have time to celebrate for behind ... ANDREW STARR ATTACKS! He rushes into the ring and drives his huge boot directly into the back of Hughes, undoubtedly upset at the way Hughes lack of respect toward him! Maxwell McNally: This thing is going to get out of control real fast. Andrew Starr lifts Hughes to a vertical position, hits the ropes and then knocks him clean out with an ANDREW STARR LARIAT! Hughes’ body begins to go into convolutions, a much welcome sight to Andrew Starr. Though he cannot hear him, Starr bends down and whispers the following into Hughes’ ear. Andrew Starr: Looks like you’re shooting blanks Hughes! Next time we meet your title will be MINE!Starr leaps out of the ring and heads to the back after a hard days work. Meanwhile on the other side of the ring Silencio wipes enough mist from his eyes to see once again, and as soon as his eyes fall upon Jin, his heart burns for revenge! Silencio tackles Jin from behind and the two begin to throw punches at each other as they roll around on the canvas! The crowd remains standing as they love every second of this action filled post match! “Fast” Eddie Edison: Out of control Max? They’ve been out of control since the bell rang! Maxwell McNally: Apparently our Chairman feels the same way because the “party crashers” are on their way. ACW security hits the ring and separates both Jin and Silencio from one another. While this may seem to be out of the Chairman’s concern for both athletes, don’t fool yourself. This move has most likely done so that the show can move along and finish at the appropriate time thus keeping the sponsors happy. Speaking of sponsors, as Jin and Silencio try to continue the fight with one another, we cut to a commercial break.

Segment: The era of Mr. Wrestling is only just beginning Credit: Jon Taylor
ACW Meltdown returns from a commercial break, there is a great atmosphere in the arena and the crowd are all out of their seats chanting and waiting for the action to continue. Suddenly the lights dim, this makes the crowd react. The arena stays dark for a few moments before the alphatron comes to life; the lights immediately come back on. They is a big cheer from the crowd as they realise who it is on the alphatron; it is the ACW International Champion - Jon Taylor. Taylor is wearing his usual wrestling attire and has his treasured belt around his waist. He looks focused.
Jon Taylor | Mr. Wrestling
Tonight I will be in one of the biggest matches of my career so far - in which I will be defending my championship for the first time. The general feeling I have been getting backstage is that many think that I will fall at the first hurdle. Many people also believe I am not deserving of having the honour to hold such a prestigious championship. To them I am too inexperienced, too much of a "rookie" in this company to even contemplate being a champion so soon. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe I am only person to capture this championship in such a short time. To me that doesn't show that I am out of depth, or I just got lucky - it shows to me that I am good enough to be a champion. I mean come on, I defeated the longest ever reigning ACW International Champion in order to get this belt, and still people don't take me seriously. Well, more fool on them.
Taylor pauses for a moment. He brushes his hair away from his face and continues.
Only a fool underestimates their opponent, and if my fellow roster members stay in this mindset then a fool is what they will be showed to be. However, I do not expect this from my opponent for tonight - Rattlesnake. I have seen little of him since he returned to ACW, but there is one thing that he does seem to have and that is class. I haven't seen him talk behind people's backs or act in an unprofessional way. Rattlesnake is someone who commands respect; I believe tonight he will be a very formidable opponent. I am pleased that I will have the chance to defend my championship for the first time against such a great opponent. From what I have seen Rattlesnake is a very talented competitor, and his achievements in his previous run here in ACW do nothing but reiterate this.
Once again Taylor pauses. The expression on his face shows that although Taylor obviously respects Rattlesnake that when it comes down to it he is prepared to do what it takes pull out a win.
From the perspective of the average fan I can imagine that they think Rattlesnake will be leaving the ring the victor tonight. I mean come on, he is a former ACW International Champion himself and he also won Emperor of the Ring. However, there is one thing that I believe that will give me the upper hand and that is my determination to continue winning and keeping this championship strapped around my waist. I have no doubts about Rattlesnake as a competitor or his talents; I just simply believe that I have all the tools needed to beat him. I am in the best physical shape I have ever been in my life, and I have the mental game to go with it. I will also look to utilize to my technical style, as I believe that I am also more technically more sound. He may be 20lbs heavier than me but I this also plays into my advantage also as it makes it easier for me to evade his offense. Tonight I will not only be looking to retain my championship, but I will also be going out there to prove that I am a worthy champion and that the era of Mr. Wrestling is only just beginning!
The alphatron slowly fades away, Taylor appears to be focused, determined and in the right frame of mind to compete to the best of his abilities.

Segment: “White Out!” Credit: T-Kiss Location: Starbucks Coffee - Duchess, Alberta, Canada Date: December 22nd, 2007 [The blizzard of ‘07. That’s what the local newscast calls the current conditions here in Duchess, Alberta, Canada. Sitting in a local Starbucks Coffee drinking down a tall glass of their finest brew is Thunderkiss and company. Getting in a bit of relaxation before what will undoubtedly be another grueling match with his rival XS3, TK kicks back and simply watches it snow. While the scenery may be tranquil to the big guy, everything else that surrounds him is far from. From the native’s dialect to their customs, everything about this country bothers him and it always has since his last visit to Yellowknife in search of RDK. Not one to hold his opinions, the Thunderman lets everyone in earshot know exactly how he feels.] Thunderkiss: I can’t believe that fool drug me all the way up here. *RING, RING* [Both TK and JOYTOY look at the source of the noise which seems to be coming from William Wilcox’s jacket pocket. Reaching in with his hand, he quickly pulls out a lit cell phone. Examining the caller ID, he realizes it’s a call he must take and excuses himself from his client.] Wilcox: If you’ll excuse me. [Wilcox rises from the table and finds the nearest out the way corner to talk in. In the meantime, the two lovebirds continue to share their hatred for the home of the home of the red maple leaf, Trish Stratus and people who go “EH!”] JOYTOY: I can’t wait until we are home again. This country is pathetic. It lack’s its own identity. Thunderkiss: I hear you dear. That’s why we kindly call it the 51nd state, “America’s hat” or “America lite.”JOYTOY: Well it’s a good thing they have free healthcare because that XS3's skank is going to need it when I get through with her.[At that moment a nervous looking Wilcox returns to the table. From his expression, TK immediately knows something is wrong for he has seen that look before - always before Wilcox has bad news to share.] Thunderkiss: Oh great ...Wilcox: Kiss - I have some news. Thunderkiss: Bad news? Am I right? Of course I’m right!Wilcox: Yes, I am afraid so. The show has been canceled. Thunderkiss: WHAT?! [Thunderkiss pushes the table over as he launches himself onto his feet. The entire Starbucks staff turns and looks in the direction of the commotion causing quite the scene. Ignoring their stares, Thunderkiss questions Wilcox against to ensure he heard him correctly.] Thunderkiss: You better be jokin’ Willy!Wilcox: I’m not TK. The snowstorm has knocked out the power to the arena. It’s a complete blackout. Thunderkiss: You’re telling me that these Canadian hicks don’t have flashlights?! Wilcox: ... Sorry Kiss. [Knowing better than to reason with Kiss at the moment, Wilcox simply walks away hoping he can get back to the car before “Mount Thunderkiss” can explode. Walking out into blizzard like conditions, Wilcox feels relieved for he would rather be out here than back inside with TK who is now doing exactly what he predicted.] Thunderkiss: G’DAMMIT!~!~CRASH~!~
Thunderkiss: YOU TELL MATT IRVINE THAT HE CANNOT RUN FOREVER!
[Dropping him to the floor, Thunderkiss exits the store to the relief of its staff and even Joytoy as she hears the screaming of police sirens not far in the distance. As he, Wilcox and Joytoy peel away, they barely miss Canada’s finest by seconds.
Through a little bargaining and luck, Thunderkiss avoided charges being pressed against him and returned to the United States with his thirst for revenge still very much intact. Escaping Thunderkiss not once but now twice, Matt Irvine has managed to set a fire within the beast that will not be extinguished anytime soon. Wether be it stupidity or a well placed plan by Irvine, one thing’s for sure - one day he’ll be all out of hiding places and will have the face the consequences of his actions.]

Segment: Pursuit to Prophecy (Credit: BK/AK)
It was only 20 minutes since BK London entered the building and he made sure to waste no time in seeking out Adrian Flamingo. He sharply made his way around a corner down one of the main corridors where the locker rooms are placed, and he peeked in each and every room in an attempt to finish what he started at Winter's Discontent.
BK London had never been one to lolly gag, he never was one to let someone embarrass or humiliate him in any way without swift and painful revenge. When Yoko stuck a tampon down his mouth, he burned Mr. Floppy. When Latino pushed him off a bridge, he smashed his brains in with a chair. When Jake Cheng defeated him at Spring into Hell last year by cheating, he pushed him off a 15 foot ladder through a stack of flaming tables. He was a firm believer in karma and he had nothing else on his mind but punishing Flamingo for what he did nearly 5 months ago.
Upon his journey down the corridor, he noticed one door with no name on it. All the other locker rooms from A-Z, but none on this one. Immediately, the thought of Flamingo trying to throw him off his trail by taking his name off his locker room arised as a thought in his head. Flamingo's name wasn't on any of these doors, by process of elimination - it had to be his locker room. And with that thought firmly set in BK's mind, he backed away from the door. In a few short moments, BK planted his foot right into the door - sending it swinging open wildly. As he stepped in the room, he didn't noticed a locker room that belonged to a male. The vase with white roses in it, the huge picture of Victor "Latino" Laureano plastered up on the wall, the smell of potpourri. But before he could come to a full conclusion, he heard the voice of a woman nearby.
??: BK! My door!
BK turned his head to see he was in none other than the locker room of Alicia Laureano. Suddenly everything was coming together, but before he could open his mouth for a response, AK continued talking.
Alicia: BK, you managed to put a huge dent in my door. After all this recent interior decorating I did for the new year, look at it.
He looked at the door, he could see the huge dent of his size 13 and a half boot and then looked over to AK.
BK: Alicia, I'm terribly sorry. I thought - I thought - I thought this was Flamingo's room. What happened to your name that used to be on the door?
Alicia: I got the nameplate changed for the new year, Alicia "Atomic" Kitsune was a bit played out. I'm getting it changed to Alicia Laureano, but that still doesn't give you the authority to go kicking down doors.
BK: Ok, ok, I'm sorry Alicia. But, but just answer this for me, have you see Adrian or Mickey Flamingo around here tonight?
She thinks, hoping to recollect any memory of seeing either of the Flamingos tonight.
Alicia: I saw Mickey Flamingo as I walked through the lobby earlier today, he was sitting across from some blonde curly hair -
BK: - That's all I need to know. So they ARE here tonight. Oh this is grand, once I find them I'm going to tear their asses limb by limb. Thanks again Alicia.
BK gets ready through the door way, but he stopped by the sound of urgency in Alicia's voice.
Alicia: BK!
He turns around, now facing her.
Alicia: Sit down.
BK: Alicia, I don't have the time right now I need to find A-
Alicia: It's rather important, now sit DOWN.
This was one battle not worth fighting, BK backed up towards the couch of Alicia's and sat down.
Alicia: Now, before you go out and start kicking down more doors in search for Flamingo. I suggest you take your time to think this through and don't let your emotions get the best of you with this whole Adrian Flamingo thing. You're better than that.
BK: Alicia, I appreciate your concern and all - but the man put me on the shelf for five months. FIVE MONTHS! For five months I had to watch ACW television while he continued to boast about his attacks and plow through the ACW roster. He helped take out Wyvern, The Senator, even my own cousin Jerome. I'm not going to just sit down while he continues to walk around unpunished for his deeds. I plan to take some action.
Alicia: I understand that BK. I feel your pain, but what I am saying is that if you let your rage and your anger for him fuel you, you're liable to to suffer a few consequences of your own. Possibly some major consequences. I read the news reports on ACW's homepage about you. How you let the whole situation consume you. How you sat in your room for days onto weeks onto months on end. And because of that, you're wife Kiley left yo-
That name, it triggers something inside of BK London that manifests itself into more anger.
BK: ..you don't know that.
Alicia: Excuse me?
BK: ...I said..YOU DON'T KNOW THAT! Listen, what happened between Kiley and I is none of YOUR business, their business, ANYONE'S BUSINESS. OK?!
Alicia is a bit taken back by this anger, and BK realizes what he has just done and calms himself down before rising from his seat on the couch.
BK: Listen, I'm sorry about the outburst and I'm sorry about your door. But..I..I have to go now. We'll talk more another time.
Without even waiting for a response from Alicia, BK storms out of the locker room - possibly to go continue his search for Flamingo. Alicia walks towards her door and looks at the huge dent in the door before looking off down the direction BK walked in. She shakes her head in a bit disapproval before shutting her door as we fade out.
Fade Out.

Segment: A brief encounter Credit: Jon Taylor, Rattlesnake
It's the new year and what better way to start the new year than another edition of ACW Meltdown? The show is already under way with the fans all looking very excited to be seeing ACW in person and can't wait to see the rest of the show. Backstage there seems to be a good morale among the roster with a few of the wrestlers socialising amongst themselves before or after their respective matches for the night. The ACW International Champion Jon Taylor can be seen in one of the corridors. Taylor is wearing his usual wrestling attire and has his belt around his waist. He appears to be very focused and this is no surprise as this is his first defense of his championship, he appears to in a mindset of his own, and doesn't notice his opponent for the night Rattlesnake come around the corner and the two bump into each other. Taylor appears to be a bit stunned but Rattlesnake laughs it off.
Rattlesnake: You should watch where you're going there, champ.
Taylor appears to be a bit embarrassed.
Taylor: Uh, yea - sorry about that. I was in a world of my own.
Rattlesnake chuckles.
Rattlesnake: It's alright. I wouldn't worry about it.
Taylor attempts a small smile.
Taylor: So how does it feel to be back here?
Rattlesnake seems to be in a good mood. He looks around the corridor and then back at Jon.
Rattlesnake: It's just like I remembered. To be honest, I just couldn't find it in myself to just disappear. I was compelled to come back. Something was beckoning me to return to these hallowed halls. But that doesn't matter right now. To really answer your question, of course.
Taylor seems to be more comfortable now.
Taylor: Well I hope you know that just because this is your re-debut I won't be going easy on you out there!
Rattlesnake: I wouldn't have it any other way. No hard feelings about what will happen tonight. No regrets either. Whatever happens, happens.
Rattlesnake looks at Taylor.
Rattlesnake: But also keep one thing in mind. It's not who you make friends with, it's who you piss off. Piss off the wrong person and it'll come back to bite you in the ass.
The comment seems slighty confusing at first, but Taylor catches on quickly.
Taylor: Let me guess. Thunderkiss?
Rattlesnake's calm demeanor starts to shift. His right eye begins to twitch. His nostrils start to flare up. His cheek twitches. Taylor takes a step back as Rattlesnake closes his eyes and moves his head around. He opens his eyes and seems to have regained his calm demeanor.
Rattlesnake: Yeah. He's a prime example. But tonight it's not about him. Tonight it's you and me.
Taylor nods as he looks at his International Championship.
Rattlesnake: I'll see you in the ring.
Rattlesnake walks away as Taylor just watches.

Underestimating Ones Self (Credit: Jake Cheng)
Kevin Anderson: Hello everyone, Kevin Anderson here with a man making his first appearance on ACW TV since he defeated Adrian Flamingo back on October 8th, 2007. Ladies and gentlemen, The Asian Extraordinaire, Jake Cheng.
On the left, the rarely seen interviewer Kevin Anderson turns toward the short Asian man next to him, presumably Jake Cheng. Jake looks different from the last time anyone saw him. First off, Jake gained a good amount a good amount of weight. Not the steroid muscle kind of weight, he is just a little thicker than before. He continues rocking the dreads, but they are shorter than before. He can’t put them in a ponytail, so he just wears them down and does a little flip when they get in his eyes. The Quadrinity is now sporting a goatee on his chin and even got some new ink over his vacation. Both tribal dragon tattoos, one visible to the camera on his upper left arm and one on his upper back.
Kevin: So Jake, to start things off, why don’t you introduce these two men with you. New bodyguards perhaps?
Oh yes, there are also two men behind Jake, one on each side of him. Two professionally dressed Asian men look over Jake’s shoulders toward Kevin Anderson, very serious looks on their face. On Jake’s left is a tall and skinner man than Jake, but on the right is the complete opposite, a short bulky man.
Jake: Thanks for welcoming me back Kevin. I did have a good holiday, thank’s for asking. Yes, these are my new bodyguards, but they are also my new business partners and also my voices of reason. Three heads are better than one. The man on my right is Lee Yang and on my left is the “Chuck Norris of the East” Wing Yin. And together we are the 14K Triad. We will offer our services to any client who we deem appropriate for our protection, et cetera.
Kevin:...Interersting.
Jake: It’s called advertising, moron.
Kevin: Fine. So the big thing going around ACW is Hunter’s claim that you had him jumped at Winter’s Discontent. Any comment?
Jake: Just like how I told the media, I was still in Hong Kong during the pay-per-vi-
Kevin: Hunter said it was two goons...
Jake: Do I look like I associate myself with “goons?”
Kevin: Don’t you think it is ironic that Hunter said two Asian men attacked him and here they-
Kevin can’t finish his sentence because Wing Yin has stretched his arm out and snatched the microphone from Kevin’s hand.
Wing Yin: Mr. Anderson. Mr. Cheng does not want to comment on the right now. He will give his side of the story tonight in the ring.
Wing politely holds the microphone out for Kevin Anderson who hesitates before slowing reaching out for it, and then taking it one, not smooth, move.
Kevin: Alright then. So Jake, when you left, you actually said you were going to go after the International Championship, undoubtedly trying to become ACW’s third Triple Crown Champion. How much of a challenge do you think it will be to get the title that seems to elude you?
Jake: I have confidence in my ability, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be difficult. I mean, Steve is a great wrestler and has-
Kevin: Steve?
Jake: Steve Phillips. The Senator.
Kevin: He is not the champion. He lost about a month ago.
Jake: What?! To who?
Kevin: Jon Taylor.
Jake: Who?
Kevin: Jon Taylor.
Jake: I heard you the first time. I meant who the hell is the guy.
Kevin: He’s a new guy. He basically just came in as you left and rose through the ranks, got a title shot and won.
Jake: So...it could be a fluke. Then tonight Rattlesnake could win.
Kevin: And if that happens, will that spoil all chances of a Noodles N’ Snakes run?
Jake: Spoil? Nah. More like put on hold. That’s all the time I have Kevin.
Kevin: Thank you for your time Jake.

Segment: Where I stand (Credit: Freeman)
Yay for a new year. As Jason Freeman walks into the ACW arena after a two week long break, he can’t help but feel a nagging sense of disappointment. Sure, he had failed to do what he had wanted to do at Winter’s Discontent, and no matter how many victories one gets in a year (not that he had had TOO many to look back upon), the only thing that really matters is the last impression. And his last impression had been him being knocked out on the mat for the three count. And so ends 2007…a year that started in success, and in Freeman’s eyes, closed out with redemption…before ending with failure. What a story. Unfortunately for Thunderkiss, however, Freeman had recently been informed that in one of two main events tonight, he would get a rematch…and look at that…it’s in a street fight.
Freeman didn’t have a good history with Thunderkiss. The first time he faced him, he lost his Entertainment Championship…and various times after that, he had not much better luck. It seemed that no matter what Freeman did, he was just destined to lose. And each time he got another chance, things ended up the same. Was there just no way? Was it simply not meant to be? Or was this merely all one big test, that Freeman would eventually overcome? Well…Freeman didn’t know, and he didn’t care. There was one thing that was important. Tonight. No rules, and no limitations. Freeman was rested from the two-week break, and feeling fine and ready to compete. Thunderkiss was going to get him at his best.
Freeman walks over to the curtain, and walks out to the stage, as “Ugly” by The Exies this the speakers in the arena! Freeman walks through the curtain…he plans to address the fans. He gets a bit of a mixed reaction as he walks down the ramp…and he eventually takes a microphone, and enters the ring. He walks around a bit until his music stops, and the fans quiet down.
Freeman: So today, starts a new year. Once again, we all come back for 12 more months to enjoy some ACW. But a new year, means a lot of things. You have to get used to writing a new date…you have to go through the months and holidays once more. It’s a new beginning. A new beginning in more ways than one. You see, I wanted to talk to the fans here, for more reasons than one, and while most of you don’t like me, I’d request some of your time, so that I can speak my mind.
Freeman sighs, and walks over to the ropes, leaning on them, as he listens closely to his reception from the crowd. He can hear some cheers…but then again, every wrestler on the roster has SOME fans…still though, it seems to be more than he has had in the past. Freeman had stated on numerous occasions that he didn’t care what the fans thought…and this wasn’t a lie. He didn’t…though…honestly he wouldn’t mind some approval once in a while. Recently, he’d grown tired of it all.
Freeman: How about a look backwards? A career in review. The 2006 Jason Freeman. I came in in August, and quickly set about with brash words and high hopes… I had dreams of an ACW title, and the confidence to think that I could achieve it. Of course, to assume this is just plain stupid. But I jumped right in…I got my first PPV win against Leon Chase at Samhain, I went on to shoot for the Entertainment Title against MASAKI. Now I had begun to pick up some momentum…I was doing relatively well for myself, and I had no doubt in my mind that I would manage to win this title.
This had been Freeman’s first title feud in his whole career, and he had instantly jumped in swinging...and as he looked back to those days, he could never get over how naïve he was. But still, he could never have imagined how quickly his career would truly escalate…but back then, he had had something he now lacked. Support. From the crowd. He had gone into 2007 on top of the world, but thanks to some of his choices, had definitely fallen out of favor.
Freeman: But Winter’s Discontent ended of course, with a disappointing loss for me, and while this may have gotten anybody down, that was not going to happen to me. Because I had gotten a rematch the first show back. Me vs MASAKI, for the first time in a one-on-one match for his title. And I won. Of course, he basically handed it to me…but hey, a title reign is a title reign right? And obviously SOME people liked that title reign, because I was able to win an award last week that declared me the Best Entertainment Champion of 2007. I personally am not going to share MY feelings about this, though it was certainly unexpected. And then it seemed that my roll had just begun, as just a short while later, I actually managed to defend the title against Jonny Spade by joining the Senatorial Stable. Turning point #1.
This was indeed the first major turning point in Freeman’s career…instantly the fans were outraged by his actions, and it didn’t take long for him to be universally hated, and at the time he loved it. He loved hearing the fans boo him…it gives you a certain feeling of power…to do something, and just hear everybody hating you for it. You know, however, there is nothing that they can do about it. For somebody desperate to feel on top…desperate to feel the power of success, the feeling is amazing…you are living in utter defiance.
Freeman: After losing my title to…Thunderkiss…I was a bit disappointed…but hey…less than two weeks later, I got an International Title match against the now-deceased Brimstone. And hey, look at that, in a fluke, I win! Jason Freeman strikes again, by fluke! Of course this was great for me. Ha! I’d beaten Thunderkiss. Sure he defeated me, and sure, he was on a HUGE roll lately…but HEY, he’d never been International champ, right? I must be better than him! Of course, things don’t work this way as I know now, but whatever. And now, the title belt WAS my identity. Sure I went on a losing streak, but hey! I had a golden belt on my shoulder!
Ah, how easy it is to hide behind past accomplishments. Who cares what you’re doing? You’re a champion! You have to be, because everyone calls you the International Champion. If you’re a champion, then you don’t have to look good. You’re the best. It is made all the easier to fall into this trap, if this is just what you want to hear…
Freeman: And here my career problems begin to surface. I was beginning to do anything I could to feel on top, and not only that…anything I could to put any possible blame away from myself, which was a tendency which the 2007 Jason Freeman would begin to exhibit for quite a while. That is of course where it started. I loved to show how much better I was because of my belt. And of course, here’s a nice example. Spring Into Hell, I have a match against Brimstone, which unfortunately he wins. Okay, but then he dies. So I get the title belt! Well, well, well, I’m the best ever! You see I just didn’t even seem to think about the fact that if the title is handed back to me, then I really didn’t win anything! It’s the thing that allows me to…bribe referees to change decisions of matches…yes, yes, I’ll admit it now, because it is no longer of any importance. You all know anyway. It was a joke to begin with, that I figured that it made me credible. But yay for Jason Freeman, he’s the Entertainment Champion again, as little as he deserves it. But back to the reign we are currently talking about…my International title reign. Now to Omega Effect.
Omega Effect…his first one…and right from his first one he had a huge match, defending his International title against Santiago Rivera and Jay Zero in a Jail Cell Match…an interesting concept, very similar to his match against Leon Chase at Samhain 2006. He may have won both, but for very different reasons…
Freeman: All of you witnessed me handcuffing Jay Zero to the wall, and then pinning Santiago, promptly firing him and defending my title. Ah, the noble Freeman. 2007 Jason Freeman…all about glory. He strikes again. Look at me. I’m a damn savior. Once again, I assume that this makes me a champion. But you know what? Hiding behind my title to hide from my mistakes was becoming rapidly less convenient, and as soon as Thunderkiss…once again…took my title belt…I had nothing left to hide behind. And like a parasite, or a virus, I latched on to the next closest thing. My stable. It must be THEIR fault. Specifically Senator. I couldn’t STAND them, and of course Thunderkiss didn’t help me much, as he continued to lead me on, and rapidly led me to his path It was a path that was most convenient. And just as I had always done, I took it, and threw my stable off, spit in Senator’s face, and felt FREE! Turning Point #2
Free. Freeman looked back at that time period with disgust. Not so much at his actions, but mostly at his elation at the completion of them. He had really, seriously, thought that he had done the right thing. And he had actually thought he had solved all of his problems, when really he couldn’t solve his problems, since he never looked into himself to do it. Oh, sure, he did a lot of thinking. Tons of it. But he only discovered the outer layers…the traps he laid for himself. He thought he had searched inside, but all he had really looked for was what he wanted to think, and since that was what he wanted in his mind, that was what he found.
Freeman: And now, I REALLY was on top of the world, right? Except I wasn’t. Arguments with Jay Zero notwithstanding, I honestly can’t say that I was happy then. I felt this nagging feeling. I felt that I didn’t fit in. If you guys remember, that is when I got this new haircut and style that I wear now…thinking that a look more like the Entourage will make me more like the Entourage. But I think I didn’t look deep enough inside these feelings either, because I think I had the right idea…just with a slightly wrong interpretation. I figured that the problem was that I had to do something to fit into Entourage, but the problem was that I didn’t belong WITH The Entourage in the first place! And no change of hair, or attitude, would help THAT, would it? And so eventually, I came to my senses, when I faced the Senator at Best. PPV. Ever. Yes, I beat him, and that’s when I finally did the right thing and shook his hand…and I think it’s that moment, when I finally opened my eyes! Turning Point #3!
And everybody in the arena knew the next part…the part that they had just born witness to. The final cracking of Freeman…and the final betrayal of Thunderkiss. Something totally necessary for Freeman. And in all truth, Thunderkiss probably was the REAL shadow that’s always been over Freeman. Freeman was always of course able to shake it off by avoiding it and finding ways to put himself above it…but the shadow was there…and it was shown by every time Freeman had failed to win against him.
Freeman: I almost feel bad about betraying Thunderkiss, but I guess this may have been one of the only time, I’ve actually been able to legitimately get the better of him. But it didn’t matter. The last impression is all that matters. As soon as I left him to Exemplar, I knew that I had won. But unfortunately, that was NOT the last impression. The last impression came at Winter’s Discontent, in a match I was quite sure that I would be winning…of course, that was not to be at all. I failed miserably…but you know what? That was last year. That was the 2007 Jason Freeman. The one about hiding, and about refusing to face himself! It’s time for the 2008 Jason Freeman!
Freeman sighed to himself and took a deep breath, before he looked into the crowd…and for some reason, he felt himself feeling slightly emotional…he knew what he was doing was right, and he felt like he was on the right path…New year. New beginnings.
Freeman:Earlier, I stressed that the new year, meant new beginnings. And they do. For me as well as you. The 2008 Jason Freeman is about redemption! I know what I’ve done some wrong over my career, and it’s time for me to make it up to myself, and to make it up to you. I know that you guys have judged me, but like I said…New beginnings! You should look at me, and see somebody else! It’s time for me to be given a chance! Hey, did I not fight as hard as I possibly could to defeat Senator in November, and Thunderkiss in December? Sure, I wasn’t successful both times, but I gave it all that I could, and I think I’ve more than proven my capabilities, so it can’t be a lack of respect you guys boo out of!
Freeman knew exactly what it was, and he knew it was time to change that…and as he stood, he felt his fists clench…and he felt a strange feeling that he was about to say words, he should have said long ago…
Freeman: Hey, I’ve admitted my sins, to you, and the new year brings redemption! You know what? I’ve got a match tonight, I go one-on-one with Thunderkiss, but this time…it’s a street fight! And you know what? Half of you love the guy, and half of you hate him…and for the half of you that hate him? You guys just wait, because you’re in for a show, because tonight Thunderkiss is going to feel over a year of pent up frustration, all directed at him! Sure, I recognize my mistakes, but I’m going to make sure that I end this! No more, of never being able to beat him. Tonight, he’s going down!
And strangely…half of the fans begin to cheer…of course there are the Thunderkiss fans in the audience, who don’t like hearing this new threat…but even hearing half of the fans cheering, gives Freeman a strange feeling…memories to a time when this was normal…a time when the whole arena cheered him every day…and he feels himself strangely missing it. No matter how much you tell yourself you love hearing the boos, there’s still a certain feeling that can’t be replaced, when you hear the support of thousands of fans screaming for you, and Freeman can’t help but grin…and he feels himself talking for himself…and getting more and more spirited.
Freeman: Yeah, that’s right! Because like I said, it’s the last impression that counts, and I don’t know if today’s the last impression or not…but I’m sure as hell fighting like it is. And for every single one of you fans, that DOES want to see me succeed, get ready! And you know what? I think it’s time that you all know this! 2008 IS my year! I know many people look down on me, they think… “Oh, he’s just another guy destined to remain relatively high up on the card, but never reach the top”, but I wouldn’t mind proving every single one of those people wrong. But…oh maybe it’s time for some New Years’ resolutions, eh?
Here’s some! Number 1: Get another International Title reign. Hey, Jon Taylor? I don’t know much about you, I’ve never even MET you, but you just let yourself know, that sooner or later, I will be coming for a shot, and if I have to earn it, fine.If you want to give me one, whatever…and hey, this isn’t coming as a challenge. I’ve got other matters right now. This is merely a warning! Watch yourself!
Number 2: FINALLY defeat Thunderkiss! If I don’t achieve this tonight, that’s okay, but make no mistake, that it WILL be achieved. I’ve faced Thunderkiss around 7 times or so that I can count, and so I guess it’s not a far stretch that I’ll face him again. But, like I said, expect every match from me, to be fought as if it’s the last one.
And Number 3? Well that one should be obvious. To win the ACW world title! Hey, I don’t care who’s holding it, but let’s get one thing straight. Fallen Heroes is in April. That may seem like a long time…but, it’ll fly fast, and there’s never a time that’s too early to start preparing! This year, I don’t need a stupid fan club to help me, and I don’t need any stupid advice. Last year I was in the final four, and this year I’m winning that title shot. And hey, if I lose? Why not Emperor of the Ring? I don’t care when, or how…just know ACW, that some time in the next year, Im going to be doing everything in my POWER to get a title shot.
Freeman sighs…his spirited speech getting more than half of the crowd into it, and cheering…and Freeman feels lifted. He raises the mic one last time, as if to say something, but he merely shakes his head, lost for words…as he exits the ring, and begins to walk up the ramp…as soon as he gets to the stage, he looks back one last time…at his newfound support, before turning around and finally walking away.

Match 2: Jay Zero vs. Ricky Falcon - Entourage vs. Senatorial Stable Lumberjack Match - ACW Light-Heavyweight Championship (Credit: Hunter)
Although tensions between the two sides of the ring were rather high, the main competitors instead focused on one another, both hell bent on winning such a prestigious title. Although the Entourage and the SS frequently traded obscenities, they all also managed to calm down enough for their stablemates to do battle. The match began with a quick jab combo from Zero, followed by a snap suplex to take the Senatorialite down, prompting "Zero!" chants from the Entourage said. Falcon recovered rather quickly from the move, and when Zero attempted a Zero-Sen Kick, Falcon ducked it, lifted Zero up, and nailed a dropkick followed by a Boston Crab, prompting "RICK-EE-FAL-CUN!" chants from the SS side (naturally started by Hunter). Zero grabbed the ropes and managed to escape from the move, but Falcon ended up taking him right back down with an Implant DDT.
The men proceeded to exchange vicious strikes for a lengthy period of time, until one of them finally decided to attempt to use the stipulations to his advantage. Said person was Falcon, who promptly whipped Zero over to the SS side of the ring. Zero managed to stop himself, but when he turned around, Hunter grabbed his leg and held him down. This gave Falcon the perfect opportunity to clothesline the champion over the ropes, and the SS instantly began to kick away at him. Moments later, however, the Entourage appeared and a large brawl began. Zero dodged it all and rolled back into the ring, and when the referee turned his back to attempt to break up the fight on the outside, he quickly kicked Falcon in his holy area, and then nailed him with the Head Butt. By the time the brawl had ended and the referee had turned around, however, Falcon had long kicked out.
The match continued at a slightly slower pace, mostly due to the exhaustion both men were facing. Falcon ducked an attempted lariat and quickly grabbed Zero from behind, nailing him with the Garmen Suplex. He then climbs up to the top turnbuckle and signals for a move, but TK sneaks up behind him and knocks him into a sitting position. Zero then kips up, leaps at Falcon, and nails the Plague, sending Falcon flying to the outside. The moment that the Entourage goes to work on him, the SS splits up and advances on either side. Yet another large brawl breaks out, and Falcon manages to roll back in. The referee, sensing that the match is due to end any moment, decides to ignore the brawl, and instead focuses on the match. Just as he predicted, Falcon lifted up Zero for the Falcon's Fury...but Zero drops back down, spins Falcon around, and nails a surprising Zero Darkness out of nowhere! He pins and gets the three count, and then holds up his title triumphantly, rolling out of the ring quickly as his stablemates join him. The Entourage heads up the ramp and taunts the SS as they all enter the ring and check on their fallen ally.

Segment: A treasured letter #1 Credit: Jon Taylor
Jon Taylor can be seen standing in his dressing room. He is wearing his wrestling attire and has his ACW International Title around his waist. He appears to be in a very focused mood, and looks ready to defend his championship for the first time. He walks over a sports bag on the floor; he kneels down and unzips the bag. He looks through the contents of the bag which include a towel and a change of clothes. Taylor pulls out what appears a folder; he opens the folder and takes out an old looking envelope. He places the folder back inside the bag but keeps the envelope in his hand. He walks over to where a chair is located, he sits down. Taylor carefully opens the envelope which inside holds a folded piece of paper. The paper must be years old as it has gone a sort of brown colour, and not the usual white you would expect. Taylor places the envelope on his lap and proceeds to carefully unfold the letter being careful not to damage it in anyway. Taylor briefly glances across the room before resting his eye on the contents of the letter. Taylor's mood appears to have changed, as he begins to read the letter the expression on his face indicates that this an emotional moment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ March 15th 1988 Dear Jon, I hope you are ok and are doing well at school. Your mother tells me you have been trying your hardest in school, and this makes me very proud. I know I have said it many times before, but school is the foundation of your life and it is important that you succeed. Unfortunately I didn't - and this put us in this predicament. Life on the road is tough, but just thinking of you and your mother makes it all worth it. Recently I have been lucky finding work; I have been able to do at least two shows a week which is why I am sending you an extra bit of pocket money as you have been trying so hard. I know it is hard with me away from home so much, but unfortunately this is how it has to be. The only way that your mother and I can afford to give you a stable life in a good neighbourhood and the chance to attend a good school to get ahead in life is this. I wish you and your mother could be with me now, but this lifestyle is not one suitable for a child. I know it may be hard for you to understand, but you will when you're older. Professional wrestling is currently soaring in popularity at this moment in time; this is one of the reasons why I have to make the most of it, not just for me but you and your mother. Each paycheck I get for appearing at shows not only makes sure you and your mother can live a comfortable life, but it also ensures all of our futures. Your mother tells me you keep asking when I will be able to return for good, im afraid I am unable to answer that question at this moment in time. If I stay injury-free and can keep getting work each week then I may be home for Christmas. However, as you know wrestling is a very dangerous business and that could all change in a blink of an eye - and I don't want to get your hopes up. Know this son, there isn't a day that when I wake up I do not think of you and your mother. I dearly miss you both and look forward to seeing my family again; however I would not consider myself a true husband and father if I didn't do this. It is only right that I give my family the best there is, and this is the only way I can do it. I know it hurts in the present but in years to come we will all see the benefits. Please continue to try your hardest at school - nothing makes me happier than seeing you do well. I will write again soon. Keep being brave, Dad. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Taylor doesn't move. He just stares at the letter, like he is in a world of his own. Eventually he looks up. He brushes away what looks to be a tear forming from his eye. He slowly stands whilst carefully folding the letter and placing it back in the envelope. Taylor goes back over to the bag, kneels down and places the envelope back into the folder in the bag.
Fade.
