Good day, sir.

You mean like what you're doing? Great job, then, fellow reviewer.
You gotta understand, to me, at least, reviewer implies that you ask people give your opinions at least a bit of consideration and to take those opinions seriously. I don't do that. I would imagine Shawn does that. He is the one who decides who should win based on the quality of their segments. If somebody went against his opinion and gave the victory to a person whose segments he felt were inferior, his authority would've been undermined.
Finally, I don't see why it was necessary to call me out like this again. Wyvern already did that (and in a much more diplomatic way, might I add). I owned up to the mistake. What more do you really want from me?

I don't really think that a reviewer necessarily has to ask people to consider his opinions. And at the same time, by default someone is going to take what you said and consider it, just because that's human nature. We shouldn't care (most of us don't), but some do.
EDIT: "Awesome show" is not a review, genius.

It is a "comment" is it not?

Yes. Two words with a general feeling of criticism is a comment. But you write mini-paragraphs per various segment you review. In other words, you're leaving extended comments/criticisms/thoughts. This would be called a review. Now GOOD DAY, sir!

I think "awesome show" is an insincere compliment, so usually opt to enjoy the show and not say anything.

Leaving comments = reviewing You admit you left comments. You are a reviewer, just like me. Congratulations.

"Awesome show" isn't a specific compliment, and at least it doesn't specify anyone and make anyone else feel left out. It just says "hey everyone, good job." Also, I say it for every show as a general sign of "I enjoyed this show." Reviews commonly get changed, much like yours. So THERE!

Oh sheesh, I missed out on a few things here...
While I generally avoid specific political commentary outside the chat around here, I will say that Obama both is not going to be able to get past Hillary, and aside from his excellent PR, he's not had much of anything of value to add to the national debate other than leftist talking points and "feel good" platitudes. He could grow in the future, but right now, I think he would have been better sticking to his elected job, gaining experience.
I appreciate Durden's post show commentaries, even if he did miss the important segment that happened to set up the main event for FH:) We all miss segements, heck, for last Meltdown, I was bugging AK about not putting my segment up...despite the fact that it was clearly posted on the first page.
Finally, we need the Hoss Report back.

Fuck Hilary Clinton.
Yeah, I said it. Her anti-gaming laws are reason enough.

Hillary, I think, has an unfortunate large chance of winning the primary. The Clintonstocracy is too entrenched and too stinkin' rich to defeat within the party. Now, in a general election, I think she has enough people who give her X-Pac heat to prevail, even if the media tries to go the whole nine yards in promoting her. The GOP needs to get their act together, though, and put a candidate out there who the base and the independants will support, however, or they'll be beaten before they start. Which I desparatly hope is not going to be the case.
