Hunter demanded it and it's here, [glow=red,2,300]The Senator's Moment of the Show![/glow]
Great show for segments, TK shined as usual, Brimstone stuff was fun, both with TK, and without, Snake and Cobra had a strong segment, Rena was on top form, and it was overall a strong effort. Oh, and the Dirk Hilton Show might have pushed our usual two hour show up to three:)

I'm a tad bit disappointed that nothing incredibly substantial developed. This show was largely about setting up for future climaxes. For the most part, it accomplished that goal pretty well, but I didn't like how the whole show was like that. A significant plot twist here or there would've paced it a lot better.
I admire the effort the Dirk Hilton Show made to come in with a bang, but I can't say I was feeling it for the entirety of the segments. I enjoyed the part about how Ewoks promoted terrorism because I'm a Star Wars mark, but for the most part, the rest of those segments kind of went on a little too long. What I did like, though, was how well these segments established the characters and made it indicative what kind of people these two are. The segments did a good job of drawing the distinction in the temperaments of these two.
The Alicia/Latino segment did a good job of establishing the chemistry between these two.
The Hunter/TK segment was enjoyable. I usually like these segments where two radically different characters can play foil to each other, thereby strengthening both characters.
Good job from Jay Basin of out-heeling Lee. I loved how he played off the devil vs. saint angle. It really drove home the point of Basin being a sadistic villain.

I challenged Jefferson to a cage match and revealed an entirely new side of my character. Although none of you would have realised since not many of you read Fallout. And I agree with the Hilton segments, I think they went on a little bit too long.

Okay, I shoulda plugged that, but what I usually mean by substantial development is a major twist or climaxing event in an established story. I'll admit I haven't kept up with your feud with Double J, so perhaps today's segments didn't mean as much to me as they should've.
If you are starved for my opinion on your gangster character, I'll have to see more before I can make any kind of judgement. If you can make this new gang of yours an established entity and develop them into colorful characters, that'll make this story most proficient.

The gangster mentality is initially going to be a one of thing but I have dabbled with the idea of having it as a future storyline.

There are too many goddamn gangsters in the Dub. That's it, new twist: Brimstone is not a gangster, he's a sociopathic government agent. There, problem solved. <.<

I was in Florida, so I couldnt get these two segments in...but here they are.
Segment Name: Movin' on Up
As the ACW fans get ready for the next match, the camera pans out to show the whole arena. At this point "Ugly" by The Exies blasts from the speakers, and the fans give a mixed reaction, as Jason Freeman, the new International Champion, makes his way to ther ring. He makes a point of showing off his new title belt, and poses for the fans as he slowly makes his way to the ring. He gets in the ring and accepts a microphone, before adressing the fans
Freeman:: Well, well, who would have thought it. I stand here in front of all of you as the new International Champion. Many people thought that I had reached the low point in my career. My win/loss record in March was 0-4. In one of those four losses I lost my Entertainment Title. It seemed that everything was going wrong. But oh were those people wrong, because boy have I rebounded.
Freeman smirks in arrogance and self appreciation, and makes sure that everybody in the crowd sees his expression as he continues
Freeman: I admit...I failed. I, the savior of ACW, tried to save the Entertainment Title division, which was...as far as I'm concerned...dying. I tried to give it some life, but unfortunately it has passed away. Thunderkiss ended it as soon as he took the belt off of me...but who's better now, TK?
Freeman makes a point of shifting the title belt on his shoulders, just to rub it in
Freeman: Oh sure, yeah, you beat me. But I am the Internatina Champion now. You keep leading the Entertianment Title division, but I am the champion of a higher division. That means that I am better than you. Oh sure you beat me...but you didnt pin me. You couldn't. Some people say that I won the Entertainment title unfairly when I had it handed to me. Some say I defended it unfairly when I alledgedly "bribed" a referee...although I don't know how that rumor started. In any case, nobody can argue with me when I say that I earned the title I hold now, when I pinned Brimstone. I have many people to thank for that.
The fans are not thrilled with this, and boo as they do not particularly care who Freeman thanks, because they have a feeling that it can go on for a long time. Freeman gives them a look of mock surprise, pretending to be shocked at their dissaproval. His thanks is actually brief however.
Freeman: For one, the amazing booking committee for giving me the oppurtunity to wrestle for this championship. Also, the Freeman Fan Club. Since they have arrived, they have given me the support and motivation I needed. I have since been winning. I defeated vortex, and then Brimstone. Look at me. I'm a champion again. And it feels great. And of course, last and definately most importantly, I'd like to thank Thunderkiss.
Freeman smirks and shakes his head. He sighs, and looks into the camera
Freeman: Yes, this is the most important of all. TK, in defeating me, you took away the Entertaniment Title that held me down at your level. You gave me the shove I needed to bring me to where I am today, only two weeks later. You have, in bringing me down, rose me up, and I thank you for that...although that was not your intention.
Freeman shakes his head and sighs, and paces around the ring, making sure to direct his words to the fans
Freeman: And in any case, I have proven how fast I can rise up, and that will continue. Come Fallen Heroes, I will win that battle royal, and then I, Jason Freeman, the International Champion, and the savior of ACW, will have my shot to win the World title. You will be seeing a lot of me folks, so get used to it.
With those last words, Freeman exits, having spoken his mind. He walks slowly up the ramp to a mixed reaction from the crowd again. He makes sure to pose with his title belt one last time before exiting, and the question on everybody's mind is...can Freeman make good on his promise? Will he be victorious at Fallen Heroes? Well, in any case, he has definateyl recovered from his downward spiral.
