Thunder opens with a sweeping shot of the audience, cheering and waving their carefully crafted banners around as if guiding an airliner in for a landing. Then “Evolution” by Motorhead hits, and Chairman WCW98 comes out on to the stage to a huge wave of boos and jeering. Everyone expects WCW to be furious, but he seems quite relaxed and gives the crowd a few moments to get the worst of their aggression out of their systems before he speaks.
WCW: Ladies and Gentlemen, before the matches get underway tonight I would like to begin by confirming the status of the 3 superstars who sustained injuries during this week’s Nitro. Both Skurai and PDogg have been advised to rest by their medical consultants, but I can confirm that both will defend their titles at Bash at the Beach. I also confirm that the US title match will be a triple threat event between the title holder, and his opponents from the previous show, Kane and V3. Spider, I am pleased to report, has been cleared to wrestle tonight and will be taking on Yoko Satoshi later in the show.
WCW’s calm manner is a marked contrast to his more recent appearances; only the faintest glimmer of malicious intent can be seen in his eyes as he surveys the crowd.
WCW: Returning to our forthcoming PPV, I am also delighted to announce that I have persuaded Commissioner RDK to appear in singles action; the “Macho Man” will thrill you all when he takes on Bladeshadow for the WCW Championship! And this will be no ordinary match………this contest will be decided in a “2 out of 3 falls” format.
The crowd’s reaction is mixed; they are keen to see an RDK / Blade contest, but they dislike WCW’s pet commissioner and have no desire to see him take back the belt he brought to GFWCW.
WCW: I know, I know………..you all can’t wait that long for a demonstration of RDK’s incredible skills, can you? Well fret no more people, because I have another surprise for you (aren’t I good to you tonight?)
WCW pauses to let the crowd calm itself a little before he concludes his speech.
WCW: Ladies and Gentlemen, GFWCW is proud to present, for the first time since the split of GFWWE………the return of the Hardcore Union!
No one in the crowd is expecting such a bombshell and the noise is incredible; WCW smiles and turns to leave the stage as Philip steps into the ring…….

Match 1: Commissioner RDK and Ridley vs Radobar / Gingerbread Man / Big Gamer
Philip has to wait a little while for the crowd to get itself back into order before he can begin his night’s work.
Philip: Ladies and Gentlemen, the first match of the evening will be a handicap tag match………presenting first, Radobar, Gingerbread Man and The Big Gamer!
Hysteria by Muse hits and the 3 men selected to face the wrath of Ridley and RDK come forward into the spotlights. The crowd cheers their courage and they acknowledge the support, but all 3 men know that they face an almost impossible task, even with a 3 to 2 advantage.
The house lights flicker and die, and the crowd starts to get seriously hyped up……..
GONG……..
GONG……..
Philip (in the dark): And now, presenting their opponents…….Commissioner RDK and Ridley, known together as the Hardcore Union!
”Gay Bar” hits at maximum volume, and a string of pyros go off on the stage, illuminating the figures of Ridley and RDK. The pair approach the ring quickly, eager to get the destruction underway; they peel off to opposite corners and whip up the crowd even further, evidently pleased to have reformed their old alliance in the ring. The lights have returned to normal, and RDK decides to start; Ridley isn’t bothered one way or the other and heads to his corner. After a brief debate, Big comes forward to meet RDK and the others make their way to their own corner.
Bell Rings.
Big has been out of action for some time, but his spirit shows no signs of having diminished, and he meets RDK head – on in the centre of the ring. RDK’s raw power is fabled in the locker rooms, but Big carefully dodges the worst of RDK’s attack until he is able to knock down the commissioner with a well timed kick to the sternum. Big drops his weight on to RDK, and stays down for a pin; RDK though shoves Big away and is back on his feet before the count even gets going. RDK whips Big to the ropes and lifts him into a back body drop on his return; Big though is also quickly back on his feet, and he returns the favour by whipping RDK and hitting a Batista – style Spinebuster. RDK clutches his back, and Big tags swiftly to GBM; while RDK is still on the mat, GBM runs up to him and lifts him up for a sidewalk Slam. GBM makes a pin, and RDK responds at 2; On the turnbuckle, Ridley is staring intently at the battle and even though he can’t see him, RDK senses that Ridley wants to be brought in. RDK gets back to his feet; he counters an attempted facebuster from GBM and then executes his own DDT and elbow drop combo. RDK almost looks as if he pities GBM as he slaps hands with Ridley; the lord of hardcore enters the ring at a leisurely pace, giving GBM time to comprehend his situation before he begins his assault.
GBM goes a little pale at Ridley’s approach, but he courageously (or foolishly) stands his ground. Ridley comes in close, and GBM swings a flurry of punches, but they have next to no effect; Ridley just raises his eyebrows as if to say “if this guy serious?” before administering a swift Tazzplex. GBM reels but pulls himself back to his feet; Ridley sweeps him up for a nasty – looking Burning Hammer that makes the crowd wince as it hits. Ridley smiles, and is pleasantly surprised to see GBM get up again despite his dizziness; his surprise is compounded when GBM blocks his attempt to use the Butterfly lock and instead whips Ridley into a corner. GBM runs forward for a splash and Ridley raises his boot, but GBM skids to a halt and grabs Ridley’s extended leg, pulling him down on to his back so that he bangs his head against the turnbuckle as he falls. Radobar shouts to GBM to get out before Ridley recovers, and they touch hands for the tag; Ridley meanwhile is angered by GBM’s interruption of his fun, and he tags back out to RDK, sliding out of the ring and charging to the opposition’s corner to take his revenge.
RDK comes storming back into the action and he engages with Radobar; the pair roam around the ring exchanging blows, and hitting an occasional suplex or slam when the opportunity presents itself. On the outside, Ridley is fighting both Big and GBM at once, but he is now into “the zone” and he grins sadistically as he beat the pair down. GBM runs in for a clothesline, but Ridley catches him and throws the unfortunate wrestler straight into a mass of people seated in the front; a couple of people are caught up in GBM’s arrival as the rest flee. As the event security try to untangle the mess of wrestler, fans and chairs, Ridley turns his attention to Big; his opponent bravely tries to halt Ridley’s rampage, but Ridley floors him with a huge Yakuza Kick before introducing Big to the steel steps via a black hole slam. In the ring, Radobar is tiring, but he gets a lucky break and hits his hammerlock DDT; the referee counts, but at 2 RDK breaks free, and he rolls out of the pin to grab Radobar for the Rock Bottom before his opponent has time to counter the move. Radobar is knocked almost senseless by the impact, and has nothing left to give; RDK makes a one – handed pin to bring the match to a conclusion.
Philip: Here are your winners………….The Hardcore Union!
RDK rolls off of the dazed Radobar; on the outside, Ridley has totally destroyed both his opponents and they lie still on the crash matting and in the front of the audience. Ridley smiles with pleasure at the mangled figures he leaves behind him; he slides into the ring and congratulates RDK on the victory. Event staff arrive to collect up the opposition as Ridley and RDK proceed at a leisurely pace back to the locker rooms, having enjoyed themselves greatly; the crowd boos their sadistic treatment of their hapless opponents, but this just makes Ridley and RDK smile all the more.

Segment: Takin’ care of Business
The camera shows the interior of the Chairman’s office; the Chairman is evidently elsewhere, as his seat is occupied by Commissioner RDK, who has just got back from his match to find new problems awaiting him. Standing around the desk are Kane, Sylvian Mint and the White Rose; none of them looks too thrilled to be teaming with the others in the main event, and RDK is trying to work out some kind of arrangement between them.
RDK: Gentlemen……and lady, of course…..I know this is not an ideal situation, but the Chairman is on the warpath after Nitro. He wants Ginger’s allies to be utterly crushed, and you are the best people to get the job done.
Rose: So I get to team up with Mr. Plastic Fantastic here and the big red bulldozer while you and Ridley have fun taking apart the openers?
Mint: How dare you, Rose! I have never had cosmetic surgery in my life………I have a naturally perfect visage!
Kane: The pair of you had better not screw this up, or I’ll rearrange both your faces, free of charge.
The 3 heels start to argue loudly among themselves; Kane grabs Sylvian and is close to chokeslamming him through the Chairman’s desk before RDK stops him (much to Rose’s disappointment).
RDK: That’s enough you 3………..I won’t have any more arguments, from any of you. Just make sure you wipe the ring with your opponents tonight, then we can all get back to pursuing our own agendas.
The unlikely teammates leave the office, still complaining and sniping at one another as they go. RDK sits back down heavily, but as he does so there is a knock at the door and BK London comes in. RDK’s mood immediately lifts as he turns his thoughts to the match he has made between BK and Latino.
RDK: Ah, Good to see you BK. Are you ready to take out our public enemy #1 tonight?
BK: Yes Mr. Commissioner Sir. I’m certain I will surprise you with what I have planned……..
RDK: Excellent! I knew I could count on you to help the Chairman and I bring this fed back into line………….I’ll be watching the match very closely.
BK: I understand Sir. If you don’t mind, I will go and prepare for the match now.
RDK: Sure, sure, run along. I’ll see you later………..
BK exits and RDK leans back in the chair, smiling to himself.
RDK: I love it when a plan comes together.
RDK swings around in the chair away from the camera, and the scene fades out.

Match 2: Poco Locos vs Tyd and Monkeybaal (#1 contendership for Tag Team Titles)
Ridley and RDK’s demolition of the openers has given the crowd a taste for intense competition, and they respond loudly as Philip steps forward to introduce the second match of the evening.
Philip: The next match tonight is a tag team match, and it will decide the #1 contenders for the Tag Team Championship!
Back in Black by AC / DC hits
Philip: Introducing first, Tyd and his tag partner Monkeybaal!
Monkey and Tyd come out into the lights side by side; they know that they will face a tough battle against the Poco Locos, but they have never looked so determined as they do on the way to the ring for this match.
“Beautiful People” hits, and Tyd and Monkey watch from the ring as the Pocos make their entrance.
Philip: And their opponents……El Loco and the Cruiserweight Champion Rey McFoley, known together as the Poco Locos!
Rey and EL enter the arena, hyped up and ready to claim their shot at the tag titles. They waste no time in reaching the ring, climbing the turnbuckles and whipping up the crowd. Then, to everyone’s surprise, Tyd beckons an assistant, who hands him a microphone. The arena calms itself to listen; Tyd is not known for making speeches, so everyone is interested to see what he wants to say.
Tyd: Guys, I just wanted to say that Monkey and I are going to give this match everything we have, and we know you will too. Because it’s not important which team fights for the titles at Bash at the Beach……….as long as that team gives Pain Inc. the complete and utter asskicking they deserve.
Tyd is composed and speaks slowly, but it is clear that he has been deeply upset by Pain Inc’s recent actions, which jar totally against his own principles. Rey and EL listen to Tyd, and unusually for them they do not interrupt with a wisecrack; instead, EL simply nods his head in agreement. Tyd hands the microphone back to the assistant, and the referee calls the teams to order; Monkey and Rey opt to start things off, and their partners go to their corners as the match gets going.
Bell Rings.
Rey and Monkey go straight to work, throwing punches at each other with all of their strength. Rey decides not to get into a standing fight; instead he sweeps Monkey’s feet from under him and then hits a swift quebrada from the second rope. Rey makes a cover, but Monkey pushes him away before the referee is on his knees. The men rise and Rey sweeps the legs a second time; this time though Monkey jumps and converts this into a standing dropkick in mid air, sending Rey on to his back. Monkey hastily drops the leg before the moment is gone, and he also makes a pin; the referee makes it to the mat, but has only just reached 1 when Rey breaks free. Monkey has plenty of energy left, but he and Tyd have worked out a strategy which he now moves to put into practice; Monkey catches Rey by the arm and whips him into his own corner, following up with a gore to Rey’s mid section. This keeps Rey in place long enough for Monkey to tag to Tyd; The powerhouse enters the ring, and before Rey can slip away Tyd delivers a powerful suplex, which is easy for him due to his significant weight advantage. Rey realises the danger, and he takes drastic action; rather than fight Tyd directly he rolls away as Tyd moves in for a cover, and scrabbles back to his corner for an untidy switch to EL.
While EL also suffers in comparison to Tyd, he is a much more powerful hitter and he steams in with a string of hammer blows that make Tyd retreat a little. Tyd takes a second to gather his strength, and then wows the fans with a single chop that smacks EL down into the canvas. Tyd picks up EL and powerslams him, then moves quickly to a neutral corner and hits a flying elbow drop. EL’s body bucks at the strength of the impact and Tyd pins, but EL is made of stern stuff and he kicks just before 2. Tyd is not put off, and he uses a gorilla press slam to knock the air out of EL. The powerful move earns him a count of 2.5, but now EL is starting to get annoyed and he battles his way back into the match. Tyd is looking for another power move and tries to grab EL, but EL ducks under and spins around to kick Tyd in the back. Tyd is distracted and EL gambles, trying a german suplex; it takes an enormous effort but the crowd is thrilled as EL nails the move, and Tyd’s own weight now works against him. Tyd lies on the mat, but as EL goes for a pin a refreshed Rey calls to him for a tag; EL runs over quickly and Rey spings back into action, leaping forward into a diving headbutt that covers over half the ring before it connects with Tyd. Rey stays down for the cover, and the referee is at about 2.75 before Tyd raises a shoulder.
Rey and EL now show why they are one of the fed’s best tag teams; Rey waits for Tyd to get up and then whips him into the Poco corner. Rey rushes in for a splash, turning at the last second so that his back makes contact with Tyd; EL makes a cheeky gesture at Monkey, who is incensed and tries to enter the ring. The referee sends him back and Monkey realises his mistake as both Pocos attack Tyd; EL enters the ring and the pair whip Tyd to the ropes before hitting a double clotheline. EL wisely retreats before the referee has any chance to see the illegal move, and Rey covers, but Tyd pulls himself together and kicks out at 2.5. Monkey is eager to get back into the match and he stamps on the apron, willing Tyd to fight back; Tyd feels the vibrations, and his spirit flares once more. Tyd counters Rey’s next attack and then quickly knocks EL off the apron in an “accidental” manner; the crowd are behind him as he charges back to his own corner, and tags an equally fired – up Monkey. The pair do not retreat immediately; EL is complaining outside the ring about Tyd’s barge, and has unwittingly drawn the referee’s attention. With Rey now isolated, Tyd and Monkey get in a little “tennis” practice, punching and kicking Rey back and forth from one to the other until Tyd completes the double team move with a skull – splitting piledriver. Tyd makes a quick exit as the referee returns to the action; Monkey makes a pin and hooks the leg, and Rey only struggles free at the very last moment before the 3 count is given.

All four participants have pushed themselves to the limit, and the crowd is cheering all of them now as the match enters its final stages. Rey is a spent force, and he knows that his only chance is to tag; Monkey also senses this and so he opts to use a submission move to keep Rey in place. With great speed, Monkey knocks Rey over and then locks in a sharpshooter; Rey bites his lip and resists the pain, but Monkey has never been more focused, he can see the title shot opening up before his eyes and he holds on for all he is worth. Rey’s hand hovers, and it looks like he will have to tap; but Rey can also see the gleam of gold over the horizon at Bash at the Beach, and with every scrap of energy he has left he inches his way toward his partner. Monkey digs in his heels, and Rey’s progress is slow; but gradually he moves into position until he is just a fingertip away from EL, who is stretching every sinew in his attempt to reach his partner. The match hangs on a knife edge; the fans scream and shout themselves hoarse as Rey hits the wall; he has either to tag, or tap.
Rey makes his choice; with a final heave he touches fingers with EL.
The crowd roars as EL climbs the turnbuckle and launches into a flying Lou Thesz press that crushes Monkey as it impacts; Monkey’s shoulders are pinned, and the referee counts to 2.5 before he shift EL. Monkey throws everything including the kitchen sink at EL, whirling his fists and beating EL into a corner; with the crowd having a mass fit from excitement, Monkey tries to ascend for his FU – from – Top Rope finisher. EL though calls on all his skill, and before Monkey can get him into position he kicks him in the gut a couple of times before hitting a Tornado DDT from the third rope. The ring shudders as the pair hit; EL makes his final stand and with the last shreds of his energy, he grabs Monkey and drops him on his head for the Dark Calling. EL goes straight for a roll – up, forgetting about his usual face scratching; this turns out to be the final nail in the coffin for Monkey, who busts out of the hold just a moment after the referee’s hand hits the mat for the 1-2-3.
Philip: Here are your winners……..and confirmed #1 contenders for the Tag Team championship…….the Poco Locos!
EL lets go of Monkey and kneels on the mat, absolutely shattered; Rey is ecstatic as he rolls back into the ring to celebrate with his partner, but he too is running on empty. Tyd enters the ring and helps Monkey to his feet; Monkey starts to apologise, but Tyd just smiles and reassures him that this is not necessary. Tyd and Monkey leave the ring to allow the Pocos to celebrate; however they have only proceeded a few feet before Foley’s theme hits and Commissioner Ginger walks out to a huge pop. Ginger stands on the stage, mic in hand, and waves his other hand to bring the crowd back to some loose definition of order.
Ginger: Now was that a match, or was that a MATCH? If you guys liked what you saw, let me hear you!
The crowd makes a sound roughly equivalent to a small boeing taking off. Ginger waves them down again before continuing.
Ginger: Absolutely, I agree with all of you……that match was first class. In fact, it was a shame one team had to lose…………
Ginger pauses for a second, then suddenly his face lights up as if an idea has just presented itself to him.
Ginger: Wait a second………I’m the commissioner, right? I make matches, right? Well then, it’s simple! Why should all our great fans here settle for a bog – standard tag title match, when we can have a TRIPLE THREAT tag title match instead?
The crowd grasps the implications of this and is delighted, as are Tyd and Monkey. The Pocos, however, are less than pleased to have extra competition, and Ginger notices this.
Ginger: OK, OK everyone, hold your horses. The Pocos won their right to challenge for the titles, so I wouldn’t be doing them justice if I didn’t give them some compensation for changing the PPV match. (To the Pocos): Gentlemen, as the winners of this match tonight, I will allow you to choose a stipulation for the title match at Bash At The Beach. Anything you want, just name it and it’s official. So what’s it going to be?
Rey and EL look considerably happier; they consult briefly, and wide grins cover their faces as Rey takes a hastily – proffered mic from an assistant.
Rey: Mr Commissioner, I have just 3 words for you: T………L…….C.
The fans go ballistic, and Ginger seems to be more than happy with the Pocos’ choice.
Ginger: Well then, that settles it! At Bash At The Beach, it will be the Poco Locos vs Tyd and Monkeybaal vs Pain Inc, in a triple threat TLC tag match for the WCW Tag Team Titles!
Ginger smiles and turns to leave the arena; back at the ring, all four men are already considering ways to use the tables, ladders and chairs to wrest the tag titles from Pain Inc’s grasp. The two teams leave the ring together; although they do not speak directly to one another, it is obvious that Ridley and Rose will face a 4 on 2 battle if they are going to hold on to their belts, and the fans’ anticipation is at an all – time high.

Segment: Attitude Adjustment (Credit: Ridley)
Ridley steps into the Demon Pit, satisfied with the day's work. He heads over to the throne and begins putting on his full set of robes.
As expected, the tall, red robed figure appears, but the camera angle reveals that he's actually there, not just in the mirror
Ridley is silent as he continues to adjust his robe.
Asmodeus: I take it you have been properly chastised?
Ridley is silent as he begins sliding on his sleeves.
Asmodeus: Such acts are, at times, necessary to adjust the attitude of the tool.
Ridley continues to stare straight ahead as he puts on his finger armor.
Asmodeus: It does you no good to sulk, Ridley, when---
Ridley explodes, ripping his gaze off the mirror and spinning to lock eyes with Asmodeus's burning orbs.
Ridley: SULK? You cost me my damned title! My mark of prestige was taken from me because YOU weren't there when---
Quick as a flash, Asmodeus steps forward and jerks Ridley off the floor by his throat, holding him a full three feet off the ground. Ridley's eyes begin filling with trapped blood, but he never drops his glare, snarling at Asmodeus.
Asmodeus: YOU cost yourself the title, by failing to show me the proper respect that I deserve as your Lord and Savior. A lesson, might I add, that you seem not to have learned.
Ridley grips both of Asmodeus's wrists, attempting to pry them apart, but to no avail; he's finally discovered that when you let the genie out of the bottle, there's no guarantee he'll go back in.
Asmodeus: Perhaps I should show you how to PROPERLY attack someone indirectly. Isn't Rose going to be in action tonight? Wouldn't it be terrible, now, if something were to----
The Lord of Hardcore already knows where this is going, and while he was furious before, this absolutely galvanizes him, and he erupts forward, attempting to tear off Asmodeus's head with his bare hands. He actually manages to get a grip on the head, despite being held in the air at arms' length.
Ridley: GODDAMN YOU, YOU TOUCH HER AND I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU----
He's cut off abruptly as Asmodeus slams him back into the mirror. The glass spiderwebs out all around Ridley and his blood flows down through all the cracks, beginning to pool on the floor under him.
Asmodeus: You will do no such thing, fool.
Another slam, as the glass begins to fall from the mirror. Another. Another. Another. Ridley's eyes are starting to glaze over as, with inhuman strength, the massive druid rams him into the shard-covered wall one last time, then drops him to the floor, where he sinks to a knee and almost keels over. Through some supreme act of will, Ridley manages to stay relatively upright as Asmodeus steps back and fades away.
Asmodeus: And that's the lesson for today.
Alone in the Demon Pit, Ridley slowly manages to stagger up to his feet, supporting himself on the throne, and grits his teeth as he begins the arduous process of ripping out shards from his back and head.
Ridley: .....most people worry about redemption....atonement in the public eye...a "mea culpa" in exchange for love and acceptance again...
He gently places a freshly-pulled shard to his throat, letting the point brush his skin. For a split second, Ridley considers it; we know he's considering it; he has to be....
Ridley: ....but all I want now is release...
Almost like he's snapping out of a dream, he drops the glass shard roughly next to the throne, shakes his head, and resumes cleaning himself up.
Fade out.

Match 3: Spider vs Yoko (Credit: Latino)
”The Flower of Carnage” starts playing as Yoko makes her way down to the ring. She walks down confidently towards her match and enters the ring posing for the fans.
Phillip: This match is scheduled for one fall and is an inter-gender match! Coming to the ring from Okinawa, Japan….Yoko Satoshi!
Transform by Powerman 5000 starts playing as Spider walks through the curtains. He looks over to the fans and yells at one fan. As he walks down he sees a fan holding a poster that says “Spider will die tonight!” He grabs it and rips it up in front of the fan and walks away laughing. He then enters the ring, staring down his opponent.
Phillip: And her opponent from San Diego, California….Spider!
The Bell rings.
Both wrestlers stand opposite each other in the middle of the ring staring each other down. Neither is backing down until Yoko surprises Spider with punches to the face. She repeats this once, twice, and a third time, making Spider lean on the ropes. She backs up a little and clotheslines Spider over the top rope. Yoko jumps the ropes for a cross body block on top of Spider; with both wrestlers outside the referee starts his count at 1. Both superstars are in pain on the ground but Spider is the first to stand up. He grabs Yoko and performs an Irish Whip towards the barrier but it is reversed sending Spider over the barrier onto the concrete. The referee now has reached 5 as Yoko stands on top of the barrier waiting for Spider to stand up. As he does so she performs a dropkick to his face sending him back and Yoko down on the outside mats. A nearby fan is shown yelling at Spider but Security quickly takes him away kicking and screaming. Now that the ref is close to 8 Yoko rolls back into the ring to break the count before heading back outside. As she walks back to the barrier Spider rushes back with a punch to the face knocking his opponent down. He climbs the barrier and performs a flying elbow. He picks up Yoko and gives her a DDT to the outside. He rolls the now unconscious Yoko back inside the ring. He slides back in the ring giving a evil look. He goes to give her a swift kick to the head but she grabs his foot and twists it, causing a sharp pain sending him down to his knees.
Yoko stands up and performs a Pop from Okinawa, Shining Wizard. Spider is knocked down and Yoko now drags him to the center of the ring and locks on the Old Ball & Chain, Texas Cloverleaf on one knee like a Lion Tamer. Spider is screaming in pain trying to reach the ropes but Yoko doesn’t release it. Yoko is close to victory, but then she sees GWD walking down the aisle holding some pieces of paper. Yoko can see him but doesn’t drop the hold. GWD starts showing off what he has and it turns out to be the adult images of her that she saw on her computer once before. Yoko is incensed, and immediately breaks the hold to run over to the ropes closest to GWD’s position. As Yoko is distracted Spider stands back up and picks up Yoko for the Spider’s Bite. He holds up almost like a powerbomb but then turns it into a crashing DDT to the mat. Spider goes for the pin 1…2…3!
Philip: Here is your winner…Spider!
Spider slides out of the ring and tells GWD “She is all yours.” Spider leaves up the entrance ramp as GWD slides into the ring and immediately starts stomping on Yoko. He picks her up and gives her a sitdown powerbomb. GWD stands over her yelling words that are hard to make out. He leaves the ring smiling and laughing. Yoko is still unconscious as the ref tries to revive her. A road agent from the back comes down and puts one of Yoko’s arms over his shoulder to help her walk out. Yoko regains some consciousness and pulls away from the road agent; the fans cheer loudly now as she stands momentarily and walks away, carried by her own will power.

Segment: Hot, Young, Talented……….and in trouble
The commissioners are having a busy evening; Gingerdude is going through some paperwork in his office when the door is flung open, and Jack Fury comes in, swaggering in a somewhat arrogant manner. Ginger raises an eyebrow, but he stays calm and greets Jack politely.
Ginger: Good Evening Mr Fury, What can I do for you?
Fury: What can you do for me? I’ll tell exactly what you can do for me, mate………..I’m sick and tired of being put into matches against lame opponents. I’m the HYT champion, I deserve better! I want to show everyone that I’m the greatest wrestler in this fed, and I want to do it at Bash at the Beach!
Ginger: That’s a pretty big request, Jack………you’ve been here less than a month.
Jack (angrily): Listen, you pen pushing excuse for an announcer, It doesn’t matter how long I’ve been here – I’m the best and I demand some bloody respect!
Ginger is not amused by Jack’s tirade, but he keeps his cool, and suddenly an idea comes to him. He smiles and stands up.
Ginger: If you want respect, my friend, you have to earn it. And I’m going to give you a perfect opportunity to do so…..it’s called a Gauntlet match. At Bash at the Beach, you will face every other opener in this fed, one after the other; to win, you’ll have to defeat every single one of them, by pinfall or submission, before one of them manages to do the same to you.
Fury considers the implications of this and he goes quiet; he is not, however, a man to back down from a challenge and he pulls himself up to his full considerable height.
Ginger: Now is that a big enough “challenge” for a wrestler of your talents?
Fury: Suits me fine, Mr Commissioner.
Ginger: Excellent. Now if you don’t mind, I’m very busy……this paper doesn’t push itself, you know.
Fury catches the edge in Ginger’s voice; scowling, he lets himself out of the office and slams the door.
Ginger allows himself a little smile and the scene fades to black.

Match 4: Latino vs BK London (Table Match)
Following the dramatic conclusion to Nitro, the audience waits to see how Latino will perform in his first match since the incidents on the previous Thunder. A stack of tables can be seen lying just under the apron, ready for use in the upcoming contest.
Phillip: This match will be a table match – the first participant to put their opponent through a table will be declared the winner.
Warrior by Lloyd Banks hits, and the crowd responds in a less than friendly manner as BK London appears.
Philip: Introducing first, from Brooklyn New York…………….BK London!
BK comes down to the ring full of confidence and arrogantly flipping off the crowd in response to their jeers. He pauses and takes a look at the tables before entering the ring.
Razor Ramon’s theme hits, and the crowd is on its feet.
Philip: And his opponent, also from New York……………..Latino!
Latino enters the arena to a deafening roar from the crowd; he raises his arms in acknowledgement of their support, but he still seems a little far away as he approaches the ring. Latino climbs the turnbuckles one by one, and it takes a few moments before the crowd calms down enough for the referee to start the match.
Bell Rings.
BK’s bravado has got on the nerves of most of the roster since his arrival, and Latino is no exception; he wastes no time in taking the fight to the newcomer, battering him with blows left and right. To his credit BK stands up to the assault and returns fire; the two try to wear each other down and eventually BK manages a lucky shot that almost spins Latino’s head 360 degrees. BK runs to the ropes and springs forward for speed, diving into a spear that drives Latino to the ground. The pair scuffle, rolling one another over; after a few moments Latino breaks free and rises back to his feet while BK does the same. BK is not daunted; he whips Latino to the corner and runs in for a shoulder charge, but Latino raises his boot and BK barges straight into it. BK staggers, and Latino suplexes him into the canvas; Latino follows up with a sitout powerbomb and BK is left reeling on the mat. Latino considers whether now would be a good time to fetch a table, but instead he decides to be absolutely sure that BK is down, and he climbs the post for a swanton; as he lifts off however, BK rolls out of the way and Latino lands back – first. The crowd boos BK as he uses a fisherman’s suplex on Latino, but BK ignores them; with Latino lying on the mat BK slips out of the ring and heads around the side to retrieve one of the waiting tables.
Although the tables are not that heavy, they are tricky to manoeuvre and BK swears as he tries to extract one from the stack. Just as he manages to fully expose a table to the light, the crowd’s volume rises sharply and BK sees Latino leaping from the top rope into a beautiful Springboard Hurricanrana. BK does not have time to evade, and the move connects; BK is slammed partly on the floor and partly on the table. Both men are dazed from the effects of the move; BK is the first to rise and he picks Latino up, using a DVD to smash Latino into the table. There is a crack as the table is split in two, and BK raises his arms in the air; from the ring however the referee shakes his head, and indicates that Latino has to be put right through the table in order for the match to end, not just break it. BK is angry and he starts to remonstrate with the ref; this however turns the match to Latino’s advantage, and as the fans chant to try and get him on the move Latino somehow gets back to his feet. Latino sneaks up behind BK and locks in a sleeper hold; BK thrashes about but Latino holds on, and gradually BK’s struggles get weaker. All this time however the referee has been counting, and as he reaches 9 Latino is forced to roll both his opponent and himself back into the ring to avoid disqualification. BK is very disorientated, albeit not completely unconscious, and Latino decides to take a chance; he slides out of the ring and retrieves a second table, returning just as BK is getting back to his feet.
Latino drops the table to the mat, and resumes battle with BK; the crowd is chanting “TA-BLE, TA-BLE, TA-BLE” and both men are spurred on. BK slyly executes a neckbreaker and Latino is slightly stunned; BK hits his powerbomb – to - facebuster combo with style and Latino falls to the canvas. Sensing an opportunity for victory, BK gets the table set up and then lifts Latino, placing him on top; determined to win in style he climbs the turnbuckle and signals for his Finisher, “From London to Brooklyn” (Cannonball Shooting Star Press). Just as he is launching. Latino rolls off of the table; BK just manages to arrest his take off enough to land in front of the table, not put himself through it. Even so he lands awkwardly, and the fans roar as Latino moves in to take advantage. Latino grabs BK by the hair and drags him to a corner, bouncing his head off of the turnbuckle; BK slumps to the ground and Latino lays into him, a familiar manic look coming across his features. BK folds his arms about himself for protection, and the crowd is alarmed at the ferocity of the attack; the change in their tone seems to snap Latino out of his altered state of mind and he seems taken aback by the bruising which is starting to show on BK’s back. Latino lifts BK up (more carefully, this time) and starts to climb the turnbuckle closest to the table; the fans reach fever pitch as he sets up for a crucifix powerbomb. BK isn’t going to give up without a fight, and he tries to resist, but the crowd’s support makes Latino too powerful; with a huge effort he hurls BK down, smashing the table in two and sending the crowd off into a frenzy of cheering as the bell rings.
Philip: Here is your winner…………Latino!
BK pulls himself out of the wrecked table, with a midnight – black look upon his face. Latino is walking about in the ring, celebrating his victory and does not see BK slip out of the ring and re – enter with a chair. The crowd noise escalates and Latino turns round; he catches the chair as BK swings it but is then ambushed from the opposite direction by Commissioner RDK. The two fight, but Latino is worn and RDK knocks him to the ground, pinning him with his foot.
RDK: You may have won the match Latino, but quite frankly I don’t care……….now I have you right where I want you. Obviously you still haven’t learned your lesson, so I’m going to let Mr London here give you some remedial training.
The fans shout and protest angrily as BK raises the chair……………..but their howls of derision are instantly transformed into cheers of surprise and delight as BK lands the shot – directly on RDK’s head. RDK drops down to his knees, and BK gives him a second shot for the heck of it; Latino rolls back to his feet and taunts RDK with obvious enjoyment. The crowd is loving every second, and things only get better as Commissioner Ginger steps out on to the stage, mic in hand.
Ginger: I’ve got to hand it to you BK……….you had RDK completely taken in by your deception, if I was wearing a hat I’d take it off to you.
BK: Thank you, Commissioner. I promised RDK a surprise, and I certainly gave him one.
Ginger: I’m a man of my word BK……….you kept your end of the bargain, now I will keep mine. On Nitro, you will face Spider……….and the winner of that match will go forward to face Skurai for the TV title at Bash at the Beach!
The fans cheer this loudly; RDK is just starting to come around as Ginger regards him with a devious look in his eyes.
Ginger: Now then, I think the fans here would like to see a little more table destruction………..(to the fans)What do you guys think?
The crowd answers loudly in the affirmative; Latino is already out of the ring and fetches a fresh table, setting it up on the outside. BK quickly restrains RDK; with the crowd cheering wildly Latino climbs back on to the apron and BK drags RDK over to join him. With a salute to the crowd, Latino and BK lift RDK and give him a forceful 3D from the apron, straight down on to the waiting table below. The crash is massive, and it takes a few seconds before Latino and BK extract themselves; RDK is out cold and Ginger’s smile is a mile wide. Latino gives RDK a kick and the sight of the Commissioner limp and bleeding gives him a little frisson of satisfaction. With Foley’s theme playing, Latino and BK walk up the ramp to join Ginger; the 3 hail the crowd a final time before heading backstage, leaving the event staff to deal with RDK.

Segment: Do unto others………<br> The scene is the parking lot; GWD walks through, back in his regular clothes and evidently in a good mood after his night’s work. The camera follows him, and everything seems normal until………<br> GWD suddenly stops dead in his tracks; his face pales, and then flushes crimson with anger. The camera pivots to reveal a flash sports car which has been defaced with kanji symbols in white paint; the headlights have been smashed in by what looks suspiciously like a wooden hammer of some kind.
GWD: That……….That BITCH! How dare she ruin my gorgeous set of wheels!
GWD turns and is about to go searching for Yoko when Gooeygarth passes by; he stifles a burst of laughter when he sees the wrecked car and makes his expression look sincere.
Gooey: Damn, man, that looks like it was expensive………..too bad for you Yoko’s already left for the evening.
GWD stops; he still looks angry but he is now able to consider things in a more rational manner.
GWD: Fine. I’m a patient man………….On Nitro, I’m going to bring this to an end, once and for all.
GWD stalks off to call a tow truck, and the scene fades out.

Segment: A joke too far
Rey Mcfoley walks through the corridors, in buoyant mood after his tag victory. As he proceeds, he sees an extremely angry looking RDK. Rey has seen what happened at the end of the table match, and he tries to stifle a snigger as he passes. Unfortunately for him, RDK catches a glimpse of his expression, and he furiously calls him back.
RDK: Rey! Turn around, boy……….now what exactly is it that has plastered that smile on your face? Do share the joke…….
Rey: Hey, stay calm RDK……..I don’t mean to offend, but you have to admit……….Ginger and the rest sure put one over on you, just like they did on your pal Ridley.
RDK’s face is scarred with rage; his voice becomes dangerously flat and quiet.
RDK: So you find the loss of a hard – earned title amusing, do you?
Rey is uncomfortable now, and RDK goes on…<br> RDK: Well Mr McFoley, if you think title defences are a laughing matter, you can test the theory out first hand. I don’t care if it’s only 1 week to Bash at the Beach, or if you’ve already had a hard match tonight………your singles contest with Stewartfan just became a cruiserweight title match. And it starts in about 2 minutes…………so get your ass to that ring right now, before I strip you of that belt for tardiness!
Rey looks stunned, and then very, very angry; still fuming he storms off down the corridor in a foul mood to his match.
Fade out.

Match 5: Stewartfan vs Rey McFoley – Cruiserweight Title Match (Credit: White Rose)
The sold out crowd in the GF WCW are thirsting for action and when they want action, they can look no further than GF WCW’s elite Cruiserweights. The crowd is murmuring among themselves, but this all stops when Philip enters the ring.
Philip: Ladies and Gentleman, this match is scheduled for one fall, and I have just been informed that it is for the GF WCW Cruiserweight Championship! Introducing first the challenger, from Columbus, Ohio……….. Stewart20fan85!
619 hits the arena, and Stewart comes out from behind the curtain. There is light cheering from the crowd, even though Stewart20fan85 isn’t as well known as some contenders for the title, and the crowd cheers him in the hope he can defeat Rey McFoley. Stewart enters the ring and yells "It’s my time!" and the crowd cheers again. Stewart goes to his corner and Philip brings the mic to his mouth.
Philip: Now, Ladies and Gentleman, he hails from Parts Unknown, please welcome your GF WCW Cruiserweight Champion, Rey McFoley!
Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson hits the arena and Rey comes from behind the curtain with his belt on his waist. The Crowds boo him loudly, but he doesn’t let it phase him, it only motivates him. He enters the ring and hands his belt to the ref, who in turn hands it to the timekeeper. Stewart holds out his hand in an effort to shake Rey’s, but Rey just ignores him, still extremely pissed off by the whole situation. Philip exits the ring.
Bell Rings
Both competitors begin to circle each other, Stewart punches Rey with two hard right hooks, and then gives him an Irish Whip into a dropkick. Rey springs to his feet and looks a little shocked, but the look retreats as quickly as it came. Rey charges Stewart quickly and hits him with a well placed Lariat. Stewart is down and clutching his throat, he gets up slowly, and Rey throws him out of the ring. Stewart is down, he struggles to his feet, and at the same time cameras across the arena flash as Rey hits him with an Asai Moonsault. Both men are down, and Stewart still clutching his throat is barely moving. Rey gets up first, he picks up Stewart, and Irish Whips him into the steel steps. After this flurry of offence the crowd is booing Rey very badly, a chant of "Rey sucks" begins to resound throughout the arena. The combination of RDK’s and the crowd’s insults are seriously getting to Rey, and he begins to laugh maniacally at this, rolling Stewart into the ring at the Ref’s 5 count. Rey rolls after Stewart into the ring and he picks Stewart up to his feet. Rey sets Stewart up for an Untimely Death, but Stewart attains his second wind, rolls off Rey, and hits him with a Super kick. The crowd lets out a barrage of cheers and a "Stewy" chant begins. Rey is down, Stewart readies for his chance at glory, he climbs the top rope, and jumps off for a flying Body Splash. At the last second Rey raises his foot in the air andStewart’s throat is driven against it, causing the crowd to audibly react to the extremely painful result.
Both men are down and blood begins to ooze from Stewart’s mouth; Rey rises to his feet seconds before Stewart, and he lifts Stewart up and hits him with a Gorey Bomb. Rey goes for a pin and the Ref counts 1……………….2…………….but Rey lifts up Stewart; he is not finished yet. Stewart is coughing up Blood and having more and more trouble breathing, but Rey shows no concern or remorse on his face. Rey begins to use a blatant choke on Stewart, the ref orders him to stop, and he halts his attack just narrowly before being disqualified. Stewart is barely moving and the blood flow from his mouth is getting worse; the crowd is growing genuinely concerned and their booing of Rey becomes more charged with anger. Rey climbs the top rope, gives Stewart a thumbs down, and jumps off with a flying elbow drop right on Stewart’s throat. Stewart tries to scream, but all that is heard is a strange gurgling sound; after a few seconds the gurgling stops and Stewart is still. The referee has no choice, as he sees increased blood flow from Stewart’s mouth, he finally calls for the bell.
Philip: This match has been stopped at the Referee’s discretion. Your winner an retaining Cruiserweight Champion, a result of a Technical Knockout, Rey McFoley.
The referee rushes over to check on Stewart; Rey regards his opponent without a shred of compassion, and requests a mic from the assistant at ringside.
Rey: Get that no talent Son of a B**** out of my ring.
The Referee tells Rey that Stewart could be hurt, and calls to the staff outside the ring to get the trainers immediately.
Rey: I don’t care how injured he is, get him out of my ring. Here I will do it for you.
Rey picks up Stewart and throws him out of the ring. Two Trainers come out and look at Stewart, they find that he is hurt, but will be fine with a little rest. The two trainers help Stewart backstage where they are able to bring the bleeding to a halt.
Back in the arena, the fans are appalled by Rey’s behaviour, and a chant of "Die Rey Die" starts up on one side. Rey doesn’t give a toss; he stalks the ring, glaring at the crowd maliciously.
Rey: Now, that is a lesson to anybody who thinks they can hold their own with me. I have just given the most dominating title defence of any Cruiserweight champion in history. I am the Cruiserweight Champion, I have beaten the World Champion, and I have no equal!
Rey smirks and taunts the crowd; all of a sudden from behind Venom enters the ring. The chant "Die Rey Die" grows louder.
Rey: You people wish you had half my looks and talent. I bleed for you people and you never gave a damn. Well I don’t suck and I won’t die, you people suck, and I hope you all die. You may hate me, but nobody can stop me. You are nothing to me, only motivation. I am the best in the business today.
Rey throws down the mic, but as he does so Venom, with a look of pure enjoyment in his eyes, turns Rey around. Rey is taken off guard, and is quickly Chokeslammed by Venom. Venom smiles, as if he got enjoyment out of hurting Rey and gets a few cheers from the crowd; they are just pleased that Rey has been silenced, although they are as mystified as Rey regarding his motives for doing so. Venom looks around at the fans briefly and then leaves as quietly as he came; Rey gets up, grabs his belt, and with black rage written across his face he goes backstage, determined to deal with Venom at their very next meeting.

egment: Mind Games (Credit: White Rose)
Latino has just returned from his match with BK, and is getting changed in the locker room; as he organises things in his locker he comes across what looks like a video cassette. Latino looks at it suspiciously, but curiosity gets the better of him; he is alone in the room, and so he takes the tape and inserts it into the VCR and TV combo which the superstars use to monitor the events on the show as it progresses.
At first, the tape shows static, then the screen goes black; the picture gradually fades into existence and The White Rose appears on the screen, in a dark room dimly lit by two torches.
Rose: Latino, how does it feel? How does it feel to lie awake at night full of shame? How does it feel when you close your eyes and see her face and know she will never be the same again?
Latino’s face immediately becomes ashen; he swears at the TV and angrily pushes the “off” button, but something is wrong and he cannot silence Rose’s mocking voice…..
Rose: Rest assured she will never be the same again. She has been enlightened, and in her deep, deep sleep, she must feel the pain wrenching through her body. And this pain she feels must be glorious, she must feel the bite of the whip, the clash of steel upon her skull, the electricity coursing through her body, and surely she must feel her own heart stop. Maybe she plays that night over and over again in her head. I know I remember my part and I remember yours. Do you remember that night, Latino, do you really? I know I do. I remember you sitting on your knees held back by the Druids crying, all the while Blaze never shed a tear. She was strong, strong enough to survive the early stages of enlightenment. You, on the other hand, were weak Latino; you were powerless and you didn’t do a damn thing to save her.
Latino is becoming more and more distressed, as his anger gives way to the feelings of despair and futility that he has battled to keep under control, and an involuntary tear slides down his cheek; He runs to the door and tries to open it but someone has locked him in. Rose’s image on the screen seems to stare right into his spirit, and her voice becomes more and more razor – edged as she continues her verbal assault…….
Rose: That was also the night you lied to her, you told her everything would be OK. I can’t believe after you were too gutless to save her, you had the gall to make a promise you couldn’t keep. Do you have any idea what she thought when Lord Ridley and I took of our masks? (Rose’s voice gets louder……) Of course you don’t you pathetic excuse for a man, you waste of human flesh! I will tell you how you broke her heart and how you betrayed her love, you sick twisted Son of a Bitch! You betrayed her when she needed you the most. Why did you not lift a finger to stop us in the ring Latino? Why were you not there to stop us after you already disappointed her once, Latino? All that was holding you back in the ring was a few frail Druids and RDK, if you really wanted to save her, nothing could have held you back. You could have gone with her in the ambulance and maybe even have fended us off, but deep down in your tainted spirit you didn’t care about her enough. You never loved Blaze, all she was to you was another conquest wasn’t she? You claim she was different, but when the time came to prove your love, what did you do? You did absolutely nothing, you pathetic excuse for a human being! My hands may be stained with her blood, but her blood stains your very soul!
The picture on the tv screen fizzes and turns back to static; Latino is on the brink of losing it entirely and he throws himself at the door. As he does so, however, it flies open and smashes into his head; the lights in the room fail and the door closes again, so that the room is illuminated only by the eerie glow of the tv.
Rose bends down to where Latino has fallen, and she pulls him close to her so that he is forced to look directly into the sinister grey pallor of her eyes…………..
Rose: I have nothing but pity for you Latino, because there are worse things than death, welcome to your own personal Hell. If you want revenge, a bullet to your own head would suffice, but if you still think it’s Lord Ridley’s fault, if you still think it’s my fault……then on Monday see me in the ring. Just me and you, no bells, no whistles, just you and I. I’ll be waiting.
Latino is mentally shattered by Rose’s psychological assault, and he is incapable of resisting her as she lifts him up; with all her force Rose hurls Latino head first into the tv, and there is a shower of sparks as he is driven into it. The last sensation Latino feels before he passes out is a surge of electrical current……….
The room is totally dark for a moment or two, then a shaft of light is visible as Rose opens the door, pausing to admire her handiwork for a second, and then steps outside, a twisted smile etched across her face.
The door closes and the darkness brings the scene to an end.
