Ginger: This is an intergender match, scheduled for one fall.
Razor Ramon’s theme hits
Entering first, from New York City……………Latino!
Latino struts his way to the ring, playing up to the crowd and stopping occasionally to greet the odd lucky fan or admire a particularly fine piece of artwork on a sign.
Ginger: And introducing his opponent, making her WCW debut……….from St Petersberg, Russia……….Alexandra Kaesar, The White Rose!
Highway to Hell hits and Rose appears at the entrance; her height and striking looks immediately grab the attention of the audience. Rose does not pay any heed to all the crowd noise, instead she fixes her eyes on her opponent and purposefully heads to the ring. Latino and Rose look each other up and down; the flippant comments they exchanged in the run up to the match are now replaced by serious appraisal of each other’s abilities. The referee, satisfied that all is in order, signals for the match to begin.
Bell Rings.
The pair circle one another briefly, then Latino launches the first attack, bouncing against the ropes to build speed and then rushing toward Rose for a clothesline. Rose though is prepared for such a move and, using her considerable height advantage, she swivels and lifts her foot so that Latino runs into it. Latino staggers back and Rose follows up with a huge standing dropkick that knocks Latino flat on his back; Rose covers but Latino pushes her off. Rose continues to keep the pressure on, giving Latino a couple of punches before setting up for her Mark of the Rose (doublearm DDT). Latino just manages to twist out, and responds by whipping Rose into the corner and hitting a turnbuckle splash. He tries to repeat this a second time, but Rose steps forward, catches Latino and spins him, slamming him back first against the post. Targeting Latino’s shoulder, Rose repeatedly punches and kicks him so that he receives both the force of her blows and the impact of the solid post. Latino holds his injured shoulder and upper arm with his other hand, and fights back by kneeing Rose in the gut as she comes in for a fresh assault; then, despite the pain he spears Rose and drives her to the mat. He tries for the pin but Rose kicks out at the 2 count. Seeing that her plan to wear Latino down is starting to have an effect, Rose shifts to phase 2; she uses an arm drag to floor Latino and then applies the figure 4. Still feeling pain from his shoulder Latino now has to deal with additional trauma to his legs and lower back; his eyes visibly water as Rose puts the pressure on. Despite her height advantage, however, Rose is still considerably lighter than many of Latino’s opponents and he is able to reach the bottom rope; the referee forces Rose to break the hold. Deciding it’s time for Latino to “smell the roses”, she locks in a Dragon sleeper; Latino struggles to escape but gradually his movements become weaker. The referee raises his hand once and it falls limply; a second time, still no response. Sensing victory, Rose whispers “goodnight” and with a smile plants a kiss on Latino as the referee raises his hand for the final time………<br>Rose’s smile disappears as she sees Latino’s hand stay raised; opening his eyes, Latino elbows rose in the chest and then stamps hard on her foot. The sudden pain makes Rose loosen the hold just enough for Latino to break free. Using a sliding tackle, Latino chops Rose’s legs from beneath her and she crashes to the mat; an Elbow drop follows and Rose lies there, temporarily stunned. From the second rope Latino hits a moonsault and he covers; the referee almost makes three before Rose raises a shoulder. With Rose still dizzy, Latino rushes to the nearest corner post and without hesitating he launches into his trademark frog splash; Rose tries to move but she does not quite make it and the splash connects. Latino hooks the leg and the referee counts 1-2-3.
Ginger: Here is your winner……………Latino!
Latino gets to his feet and tries to shake his shoulders in celebration, but he winces from the effects of Rose’s previous attack. As he turns, Rose catches him and mercilessly delivers her doublearm DDT, furious at her loss; the crowd reacts angrily to this, but Rose doesn’t care one bit. She stalks back to the locker room, leaving Latino in the centre of the ring.

Match 2: Tag Team Tournament, First Round Heat 1
Gingerdude: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for round 1 of the tag team tournament to determine who will be the first ever WCW Tag Team Champions! The match will be contested between 4 teams, and will consist of two pinfalls or submissions; when one fall is won, the team that makes the pin will progress to the final and the pinned team will be eliminated from the match. The two remaining teams will then contest the second fall with the winners also progressing to the final.
Tonight the stars revolt by Powerman 500 hits
Ginger: Introducing first, Spider……….
Spider enters
Imperial Death March by John Williams hits
Ginger:..and his partner, Furor Celtica – together they form the team known as Flatline!
Furor enters and joins Spider in the ring.
The Beautiful People by Marylin Manson hits
Ginger:Accompanied by the Hot Chick, the Cruiserweight Champion Rey McFoley and Edge……..together known as the Poco Locos!
Rey, Edge and Chick enter; Rey displays his belt while Chick flaunts her gorgeous frame.
Wait and Bleed by Slipknot hits
Ginger: The US Champion, PDogg……..
Pdogg makes his way to the ring, greeting fans as he goes
Suck My Kiss by the RHCP hits
Ginger:……and his partner, Flea!
Flea enters, still bearing some of the scars from the TV Title match, and joins up with PDogg.
Slow Chemical by Finger Eleven hits
Ginger: and finally, Kane and his partner GWD!
Kane and GWD make an imposing pairing as they slowly make their way to the ring. Upon entering, Kane performs his customary move and his pyros go off around the ring; Chick seems to be a little intimidated and she moves closer to Rey. The referee enters the ring, and after some gesturing and negotiation Flea and Furor Celtica remain in the ring to start the match while the others exit to their designated corners.
Bell rings. Flea and Furor clash together; Furor comes off best and whips Flea into his own corner where both he and Spider deliver punches and kicks. Flea keeps his head though and, spinning around, grabs Spider’s head and rams it into the exposed part of the post, causing Spider to drop down off of the apron. Furor pulls him away and rakes the eyes of his opponent; Flea staggers back and, as he does so, Kane takes the opportunity to tag himself in. Equally matched in terms of size, a power struggle ensures between Furor and Kane as the two lock up and each attempts to throw the other. Finally Furor, with a supreme effort, twists Kane into position and hits a Full Nelson Suplex. The ring shudders from the impact, and Kane lands close to the Pocos’ corner; to everyone’s surprise, Rey tags in and leaps from the top of the post in a moonsault that connects with Furor as he is rising to his feet. Kane meanwhile gets up and at first tries to rejoin the fight; as the referee orders him back to his corner the Pocos work as team, all 3 entering the ring; while Rey and Chick lay into the fallen Furor, Edge deflects PDogg and Spider as they try to interfere. The referee turns back and sees the chaos, but he has no idea who is to blame and can only send the extra people back to their corners. With Furor stunned, Rey tags to Edge who gives Furor an Elbow Drop, then applies an ankle lock; Furor is about as far from his own corner as he can be and he realises he will never make it back to tag Spider. Keeping a cool head, though, he drags himself toward the nearest corner, occupied by GWD and Kane, and stretches out his hand; GWD and Kane look at one another, and GWD accepts the tag. Edge retreats quickly when he sees the switch, then runs in swiftly before GWD has a chance to compose himself and knocks him down with a clothesline. Using the second rope, Edge backflips to strike GWD, but his opponent rolls away and Edge hits the mat hard. GWD tries to slam Edge, but Edge slips free and the intense struggle continues. As Edge and GWD battle, Spider sees that the referee is not looking in their direction, and in retaliation for Flea’s earlier action he heads to his corner and pulls Flea off of the apron. As Spider attacks, PDogg comes to his partner’s aid and the two teams begin fighting each other on the floor, oblivious to what is happening in the ring. Kane sees this and, in full view of the referee, grabs hold of Chick and threatens to chokeslam her off of the apron. Rey rushes to help Chick and the referee’s attention is diverted; GWD takes full advantage, using a low blow on Edge and then hitting his finisher sitdown powerbomb. As soon as it hits, Kane drops Chick to the floor and returns to his corner; Rey is too busy checking his girlfriend to realise that GWD has Edge pinned. The referee turns back to the ring and sees the cover; the 1-2-3 count is made and the bell rings to mark the first fall.
Ginger: Kane and GWD progress to the final; the Poco Locos have been eliminated!
Kane gives a twisted smile, silently drops off of the apron and makes his way back up the ramp; GWD rolls out of the ring and follows him, keen to conserve his energy for the next round. Rey and Chick climb into the ring and help Edge up; the referee ushers them out despite their vehement protests that they have been cheated, and they argue all the way back to the locker rooms.

The first pin comes as a surprise to the other two teams, who have been beating six shades out of one another for a couple of minutes. The referee orders both teams back into the ring, and designates opposite corners for them to use. Still smouldering from their ringside rumble, PDogg and Spider take up position in the ring while their partners return to the apron. Spider and PDogg exchange a couple of punches before Spider grabs PDogg’s head and uses his own knee to deliver a face breaker; while PDogg is stunned, Spider picks him up and uses a DVD. Spider goes for the pin but PDogg kicks out quickly. Returning to the attack, Spider hits one German Suplex and then a second; he covers and hooks the leg and the referee makes it to 2 before PDogg escapes. PDogg tries to make it to Flea, who is shouting out and reaching for him, butSpider pulls him back and whips him into his own corner. Tagging to Furor, both attack PDogg until the referee evicts Spider from the ring. Furor lifts Pdogg and slams him down; he also tries for a pin and again PDogg raises the shoulder after 2. Switching tactics, Furor locks on the crippler crossface; PDogg tries hard to resist but Furor’s strength is enormous. PDogg tries to drag himself to his corner, but each time he tries Furor pulls him back to the centre of the ring. Flea, desperate to help, tries to enter the ring but the referee prevents him; Spider and Furor use the distraction to launch another joint attack. PDogg, though, finally gets a break; while Spider holds him, Furor tries to land a massive kick but PDogg slips his head aside and Furor nails his partner instead. PDogg reaches the corner just as Flea is back on the outside, the referee sees the tag and allows it; Flea throws himself into the match and knocks down Spider first before turning to Furor. Seeing Flea go to work, PDogg distracts the referee by pretending to try and re – enter the ring; Flea uses the distraction to send Furor to the corner and he delivers Shattered Dreams to his opponent. Furor slumps, but the distraction backfires when Flea is caught by Spider and receives the Demon Bomb. PDogg’s faked protests swiftly become real, but the referee is just as deaf to them; Spider rolls out of the ring as the referee turns his attention back to the match, just in time to see Furor hit his Dark Druid finisher on Flea. Spider hurries around the ring and, as the referee counts, prevents PDogg from making the save; the 3 count is given and the bell rings.
Ginger: Flatline advance to the final…..PDogg and Flea are eliminated!
Flatline decide that they have battled with PDogg and Flea enough for one day; without pausing they pace up the ramp to the locker rooms, eager to prepare for the Tag final.

Match 3: Spider vs Tyd412
Ginger: This match is scheduled for one fall, and it is to decide the No.1 contender for the HYT Title.
Tonight the stars revolt by Powerman 500 hits
Ginger: Making his way to the ring………from Pluto, Spider!
Spider climbs into the ring and awaits his opponent
Back in Black by AC/DC hits
Ginger…….and his opponent, from Hickory NC…….Tyd412!
Tyd enters the ring and the two powerhouses size each other up
Bell Rings.
This is a battle between two of the fed’s most powerful brawlers, and the participants begin by exchanging massive punches to gauge each other’s strength. Spider then takes the initiative and, blocking a blow from Tyd, he demonstrates his immense raw power by chokeslamming his opponent. Spider optimistically covers but Tyd is having none of it and practically throws him off. The pair lock up together, and Tyd manages to suplex Spider; he also covers but Spider also easily escapes. They lock up again and Spider shows he is just as masterful of suplexes, this time using a German on Tyd. Both men rise to their feet; Spider goes for a massive clothesline but Tyd dodges. Spider comes back for a second attempt but this time receives a Spinebuster from Tyd; again Tyd covers and gets a 2 count before Spider responds. The match continues in a similar vein for a few minutes, with both men using powerful suplex and slam moves on one another. Eventually, Spider weakens Tyd enough to be able to lift him for a powerbomb and it connects with huge force; Tyd is badly shaken and the referee almost counts 3 before he is able to get his shoulder up. Keen for a quick finish, Spider goes to prepare for the Demon Bomb; Tyd though is aware of the danger and he fights back against Spider. Spider is forced to drop Tyd, and Tyd rolls out of the ring to get some breathing space. Spider follows him, and as the referee counts they renew their battle outside the ring. Getting the upper hand, Spider uses a reverse DVD to drive his opponent against the ring steps; although stunned, Tyd hears the referee’s count and just manages to get back into the ring before he is counted out. Tyd has taken a great deal of punishment, but as he gets back to his feet it becomes clear to him that Spider has also used up a great deal of energy. Dredging up as much strength as he can muster, Tyd waits for Spider to turn and then spears him; quickly standing again he follows up with a leg drop across Spider’s neck. Before Spider’s head clears, Tyd goes to Spider’s feet and goes for the scorpion death lock; Spider realises what Tyd is up to and tries to resist, but Tyd’s determination is stronger and he locks the hold in. Spider’s face has the effects of the lock written all over it, and he desperately tries to reach the ropes; Tyd though pulls him back. Again Spider tries to reach the ropes but a second time he is foiled, and Tyd increases the pressure to maximum. With the tag team final rapidly approaching and no options remaining, Spider cuts his losses and taps out; the referee nods to the timekeeper and the bell rings.
Ginger: Here is your winner……..Tyd412!
Tyd salutes the crowd’s cheers; as he catches Spider’s eye he motions a belt around his waist and taunts him for tapping. Spider stares back coldly and ignores him as he heads backstage to meet up with Furor Celtica for the tag final.

Match 4: RDK vs President
Gingerdude prepares to announce the next match, but as he does so, Commissioner RDK appears in wrestling gear and makes his way to the ring. The fans haven’t forgotten his previous behaviour toward them and they give him a hostile reception. RDK ignores them and enters the ring; an assistant hands him a mic and he surveys the crowd.
RDK: It looks like this is a lucky night for all you people (he gestures to the fans) – you’re about to see the legendary RDK in action! I know, I know you can barely contain your excitement…. (The fans booing gets louder)…I promised one of our up – and – coming guys an opportunity, and he’s going to get it right now. RDK smiles darkly….So President, get yourself out here so that this match can begin – oh, and as commissioner, that’s not a request – it’s an order.
After a brief pause, President appears on the entrance ramp; he looks apprehensive as he makes his way to the ring. As he climbs up to enter, RDK runs forward and punches him, sending him back down on to the floor. RDK orders the referee to ring the bell and start the match, while the crowd’s displeasure is evident.
Bell Rings.
RDK doesn’t waste a second; grabbing President by the hair he rams his head into the post and the apron multiple times before lifting him and slamming him into the steps. Satisfied that he has crushed any immediate resistance, RDK rolls President back into the ring; as President holds his head, RDK hauls him to his feet and delivers his signature DDT and Elbow drop combination. RDK covers, but just before the referee reaches 3 he lifts President’s head, drawing more heat from the fans. Enjoying himself, RDK lifts President up into the Torture Rack; he holds this for a short while and then, becoming bored, slams his opponent down on to his front. For a little variety, RDK kneels on President’s back and then, gripping his foe’s neck and legs in opposite arms he rolls back into the bow and arrow hold. President cries out in agony, but when RDK suspects that he is about to give up he rolls forward again and releases the hold. As President lies face down on the mat, RDK looks at him with contempt; he waits for President to struggle back to his feet and then whips him to the ropes. President though is not quite as dazed as RDK assumes, and as he returns President launches into a flying dropkick that knocks RDK down to the delight of the crowd. President returns RDK’s elbow drop with interest, and while his opponent is down he hurries to the post and climbs up for a frog splash. Unfortunately for him, RDK is quickly back on his feet and he catches President in mid air; with malice etched across his features, RDK spins President and hits a sitout powerbomb. The crowd protests, but RDK is determined to make his victory a crushing one and, heaving the badly stunned President back to his feet, he delivers the Rock Bottom with immense force. President is in cloud cuckoo land, and RDK adds insult to injury by pinning him with one foot on his chest while the referee counts the 1-2-3.
Ginger: Here is your winner……..Commissioner RDK!
The crowd give RDK massive heat as he raises his hands in victory; RDK simply scowls back at them as he returns to the backstage area.

Match 5: Skurai vs Ridley, Cage Match
The atmosphere in the arena has been electric all evening, and as Gingerdude prepares to introduce the match the air is thick with the crowd’s anticipation. The cage is lowered into place and checked by the crew.
Ginger: This will be a cage match – whichever of the two contestants is the first to leave the cage and place their feet on the floor outside will be declared the winner.
New Noise by Refused hits and the arena darkens
Introducing first, from Sacramento California…………….Skurai!
The crowd pops for Skurai as he enters, cape flowing dramatically behind him; he strides down the entranceway to the ring and makes his way into the cage. Once inside, he salutes the crowd and places his hands on the walls of the cage, systematically testing it for handholds and flexibility.
Ginger: And his opponent………..
GONG……….
GONG………..The lights in the arena go out for a second time, and immediately there is a wave of sound from the audience. Four druids slowly pace out of the entrance and halt, two on either side; they bow low and the crowd noise rises even further as the imposing, robed figure of their master takes centre stage. He raises a single hand skyward, pausing to let the crowd fervour reach its peak…….
GIRL!!!........I wanna take you to the Gay Bar, Gay Bar, GAY BAR!!!!
Ridley’s main theme hits as a barrage of pyros goes off to either side of him; the crowd cheers wildly as he proceeds down the ramp with the druids in tow. Even with a mic in hand, Ginger has to practically shout to be heard above the din.
Ginger: From Southeastern Birmingham, Alabama………….Ridley!
Ridley enters the cage and the druids take up stations on the outside, 2 on either side of the ring. The referee takes Ridley and Skurai’s surplus garments and the cage door is closed; as the cameras focus in on the participants Ridley is revealed to be holding a microphone. Skurai also notices this and, folding his arms, he stands and waits to hear what Ridley has to say.

Post by Latino on Jul 8, 2004 16:07:36 GMT -5
Ridley: Well, well, this is a most interesting situation. Looking at Skurai: Come now, why the long face Skurai? The commissioner has seen fit to grant you a rare opportunity, a chance to come one step closer to the title belt that you so deeply desire….rolls his eyes..Yessssss, I sense your hunger for it……
If Skurai is made uncomfortable by Ridley’s address, he does an excellent job of concealing it. If anything he looks faintly bored by the proceedings.
Ridley (continuing):….but there is something else, something that troubles you….an injustice….Ridley suddenly snaps back out of his trance – like state Oh, that? My little trick at the start of the TV Title match? (Ridley appears to consider this for a second) Hmm…Perhaps you are right, maybe that was not the best way to make friends and influence people.
Ridley smirks, and Skurai’s expression shifts from boredom to annoyance. Ridley sees this and does his best to look contrite; then suddenly his face lights up as an idea occurs to him.
Ridley: I’ll tell you what Skurai, since the commissioner is in a generous mood today I shall also be generous! I, Ridley, hereby promise that I shall give you a ten second head start in this match.
Skurai’s expression remains sceptical, but his eyes show a glimmer of interest.
Ridley: That’s right, for ten whole seconds I shall remain inactive, and you, my friend, may use this time as you wish! Of course once the ten seconds is over, I shall do everything in my power to stop you from leaving the cage…….assuming, of course, that you haven’t already got your feet to the floor in that time……
Ridley’s expression suddenly crumples to one of horror as he realises what he has just said; Although still suspicious, Skurai shoots a look at the referee and the bell rings to indicate the start of the match.
Not taking any chances, Skurai rushes forward and gives Ridley a swift DDT before springing up on to the cage side from one of the posts and starting to climb, his earlier days as a cruiserweight evident in his agility. He reaches the top and swings over as Ridley picks himself up and heads to the cage wall in pursuit; Skurai’s eyes though have a triumphant gleam as he climbs down a couple of feet to a safe height from which to drop to the floor. With a “bye – bye” hand gesture, Skurai lets go of the cage…....and drops straight into the arms of Ridley’s waiting druids, who have silently moved into position out of Skurai’s view. Skurai, realising he has been tricked, struggles as hard as he can but he is unable to break free of the 3 druids holding him. Druid 4 opens the cage door and the others smash Skurai’s head against the outside of the cage a couple of times before rolling him back inside. Ridley’s face is a picture of sadistic pleasure as he lays into him with kicks to the body and head.
Druid 1: A most effective strategy from our Master. Druid 2: Indeed!

Post by Latino on Jul 8, 2004 16:08:07 GMT -5
Ridley continues his assault on Skurai; although Skurai has a weight advantage Ridley’s great strength is sufficient for him to be able to hit a powerbomb that lays his opponent out on the mat. Ridley goes to the corner and begins to climb, but almost as soon as he turns his back, Skurai flips back up to his feet and follows him up. As Ridley stands with one foot on the post and the other on the third rope looking for a grip on the cage, Skurai climbs up behind him and punches Ridley in the head. Ridley is dizzy just long enough for Skurai to set up for the Razor’s Edge and he hurls Ridley down to deliver a massive blow. Not wanting to repeat his previous error, Skurai continues to work on Ridley; he lands a leg drop while Ridley lies on the mat, and then follows up with a sitout powerbomb that shakes the ring. As he finishes the powerbomb Skurai suddenly notices that the druids have neglected to refasten the cage door properly, and that it has swung open from the vibrations of the cage during the match. On hands and knees Skurai scrabbles towards the door, but Ridley catches his foot and hauls him back, twisting the lower half of Skurai’s leg as he does so. Skurai grimaces in pain, but he closes his eyes and focuses his energy; despite having his opponent attached to one leg he crawls slowly forward until he just gets his fingers over the edge of the apron at the open door. With the extra leverage he pulls himself forward and it looks as if Skurai will escape, but again the druids foil him – they all rush forward and slam the cage door straight into Skurai’s face, also catching his fingers in the metal frame. Skurai cries out and rolls on to his back, tucking his hands under his arms in an attempt to stem the pain signals; the crowd meanwhile show their displeasure at the druids’ interference. The referee miraculously picks up on this, and orders all of the druids to leave the arena immediately. The druids protest but the ref stands firm and reluctantly Ridley’s followers make their way out.

Inside the cage, Skurai finally manages to dislodge Ridley from his foot and the two grapple in the centre of the ring. Judging his opponent to be on a par in terms of raw physical strength, Ridley uses the irish whip to send Skurai to the ropes, aiming for a clothesline. Skurai though ducks under, rebounds swiftly from the opposite ropes and delivers the twist of fate. Thoroughly miffed at Ridley’s tactics thus far, Skurai’s aggressive nature comes to the fore and, lifting his opponent, he translates his anger into momentum for a huge DVD that slams Ridley head – first into the side of the cage. Ridley slumps down onto his back and lies still; Skurai sees that he has opened a wound on Ridley’s head which is slowly oozing blood on to the mat. Skurai raises his arms high and salutes the cheering fans, but as he does so Ridley’s eyes snap open and he sits up dramatically. Putting a finger to his temple, Ridley’s face visibly darkens when he feels the blood. Rising slowly and deliberately, he calmly waits for Skurai to turn back to face him. As Skurai does so he has only a moment in which to see the lord of hardcore’s face, contorted with wrath, before Ridley grasps him and delivers his Torpedoes Away! throw. Skurai is propelled with frightening velocity into the cage wall, head first, and as the camera shot draws close he too is seen to be bleeding from the head. Both men are beginning to show signs of fatigue, but the force of their rage drives them onward. As Skurai rises from the cage impact, Ridley goes for the Yakuza Kick and Skurai only just manages to duck. The missed kick puts Ridley slightly off balance and Skurai quickly whips Ridley against the nearest ropes before lifting into a back drop on his return. Summoning all his speed, Skurai scrambles up on to one of the posts, then climbs to the top of the cage; he is about to swing his legs over when he sees that Ridley is still lying on the mat, evidently feeling the cumulative effects of the battle. For a couple of seconds it seems that Skurai struggles to decide what to do, then without warning Skurai launches himself from the top of the cage into an elbow drop aimed directly at his opponent. Ridley though has had enough time to gather his thoughts and he rolls aside; Skurai lands hard and the impact knocks the breath from his body. In a supreme demonstration of skill, Ridley instantly leaps up on to the top rope and walks along it, using the cage wall occasionally to steady himself; from the rope he jumps up to cling on to the cage, and finally he springboards from the cage wall into a spinout guillotine legdrop that connects with Skurai’s prone form with devastating force.

Latino and Blaze enter together; while they respond to the crowd’s cheers, it is clear that Latino’s shoulder is still giving him some pain. This does not go unnoticed by the participants already in the ring.
Get Lost by EvilBush hits
Ginger: And finally, EvilRMQ and the WCW Champion DownwithBush…….together they form the team known as EvilBush!
Evil and DWB enter, instantly drawing heat from the fans. DWB has the title belt with him and he takes every opportunity to display it to the crowd. He and Evil continue to flip off the crowd when they reach the ring, treating the other participants with disdain.
The referee calls the group to order, and V3 and Monkeybaal remain in the ring to begin the match as the others disperse to their allocated corners.
Bell Rings.
V3 is keen to make a strong start and he rushes forward, catching Monkey off guard and landing a swinging neckbreaker. He follows up with an Elbow drop but Monkey is quick to recover his thoughts and he rolls aside. Both men stand, and Monkey whips V3 to Latino and Blaze’s corner; Latino is fired up for the match and he tags himself in, leaping toward V3 as he approaches with a flying elbow from the turnbuckle. This connects, but V3 is still mentally stung by Latino’s previous victory over him and as Latino gets up from the elbow he grabs him and drives his injured shoulder against his knee. While Latino is temporarily disabled from the pain, V3 hurls himself against the rope to build up speed. However his feet are grabbed by EvilRMQ, who has slipped down from his corner, and Evil shrewdly rolls V3 over toward his corner so the DWB can tag himself in. Evil pulls V3 out of the ring and leaves him on the floor as DWB goes to work on Latino, stamping on his back and shoulders and then delivering a huge powerbomb. DWB covers, but Latino raises his shoulder after 2. DWB goes for a leg drop but Latino just gets out of the way; as DWB picks himself up Blaze shouts to Latino to switch but Latino looks at DWB and, concerned over the weight and power difference between his partner and his foe, tries to continue on his own. Latino goes to the ropes and tries a moonsault, but DWB catches him and hits a backbreaker. DWB goes for the pin a second time and this time the referee almost reaches 3 before Latino is able to respond. Evil indicates to DWB that he wants a turn in the ring, and the confident DWB strolls over to make the tag. Latino meanwhile rolls over and catches Blaze’s gaze; Blaze reaches her hand out to him and her eyes plead with him to trust her. Latino glances over at the heel corner and, at the last second, drags himself over and tags out to Blaze. Evil tries to grab Latino but Blaze comes from the turnbuckle into a sunset flip that catches Evil by surprise; Evil’s shoulders hit the mat and the referee gives a 2 count before Evil wrenches himself free. Blaze locks on a chokehold, but her lack of weight means that Evil is able to stand and he backs up into his corner, driving Blaze into the post. Blaze holds on, but Evil tries another variation and drops backwards, crushing Blaze as he does so. Blaze is too stunned to keep the chokehold on and Evil stands over her, wagging his finger in a patronising manner. Latino shouts and curses at Evil from the turnbuckle, but Evil rushes up and delivers a huge punch to Latino’s head, knocking him clean off of the apron and causing him to hit his head on the steps as he falls.
Evil is clearly enjoying himself; returning to the match proper, he delivers another massive slam to Blaze. Tyd yells at Evil and calls him a coward; Evil is displeased by this and, as Blaze lies on the mat, heads over to Tyd’s corner and knocks Tyd down to the floor with a single great punch. Monkey, enraged at this turn of events, tries to enter the ring but the referee orders him back; Monkey continues to protest and the referee’s attention is diverted. Keen to join in, DWB slips into the ring the pair deliver simulataneous leg drops to Blaze. Next DWB signals to Evil that he wants to try out his Magnum Driver; he heads over to Blaze with a nasty grin on his face, but as he does so he spots Blade and V3 rushing in for a combined attack. Leaving Blaze for the moment, DWB uses a Superkick to floor Blade; V3 tries a kick of his own but DWB dodges it. Becoming angrier with every second, DWB grabs V3 and, egged on by Evil hurls him out of the ring over the top rope; as he does so though he misses a recovered Latino hitting Evil with a moonsault from the top rope. Evil is slighty stunned, but Latino’s energy is running low and Evil hits him with a DDT. With his back to Evil, DWB picks up Blaze, and although she struggles he easily lifts her above his head for a gorilla press slam. However, just as he does so, Blade springs back to his feet and, using the ropes for momentum, launches into a missile dropkick. With his hands full, DWB cannot defend himself and Blade nails him right between the eyes; the impact is huge and it causes DWB to drop like a felled tree. As he falls, DWB takes Blaze with him and he inadvertently smashes her right on top of Evil, who is just rising from giving the DDT to her partner. The noise of the trio hitting the canvas attracts the referee’s attention and he sees Blaze lying on top of Evil, who is flat on his back. The count is made before any of the participants have realised what is happening; the bell rings as everyone picks themselves up and tries to work out what is going on.
Ginger: Latino and Blaze progress to the final; EvilBush are eliminated from the tournament!
Latino staggers back to his feet and heads over to check on Blaze, who is just sitting up from the fall. DWB’s face is drained of colour, but as the referee indicates that he has to leave he begins to turn an interesting shade of scarlet. Blaze and Latino see the danger signals and swiftly exit the ring; DWB is about to pursue them but then he sees the smile on Bladeshadow’s face. Absolutely furious, DWB rushes at Blade, who quickly evades him; joined by Evil he chases Blade and V3 around the ring. A squadron of backup referees arrive and it takes all six of them to keep DWB and Evil back – in the scuffle one of the referees receives a punch to the head and is knocked out. Blowing a fuse, the main referee threatens to go directly to the chairman and have EvilBush suspended for deliberately striking an official; Although still deeply angry, DWB and Evil are not prepared to risk such action and they finally return to the Locker rooms, determined to exact their revenge at the first opportunity.
Having restored order, the referee calls the two remaining teams back to the ring to finish the match. All the disruption has given both teams time to catch their breath, and Blade stays in the ring with Tyd to get the match back underway.
The bell rings to mark stage 2 of the match, and Blade locks up with Tyd in the centre of the ring. Despite his size Tyd is surprisingly agile, and he is too quick for Blade to be able to apply an armbar. Getting behind Blade he applies a full nelson, and then swiftly hits an Atomic drop whilst maintaining the hold. Tyd covers, but the referee only reaches 1 before Blade kicks out. As both men rise to their feet, Blade shows his own speed and hits a tornado kick to the head while Tyd is one knee. Tyd collapses back and Blade gets a 2 count from the referee before Tyd pushes him away. Blade senses that Tyd is suffering from the cumulative effects of two matches in one night, and he switches out to V3 in order to keep the pressure up. V3 literally leaps in to action, going for the Ragin’ Azn from the post, but he only partially connects with Tyd. As V3 tries to cover, Tyd suddenly reaches up and grabs V3 by the throat; getting back to his feet he chokeslams V3 and uses the time while V3 is down to retreat to his corner and tag in Monkeybaal.

Match 7: Tag Team Tournament Final
Ginger: Ladies and Gentlemen, we have now reached the final match of the evening, and it is to determine the first ever WCW Tag Team Champions!
The crowd is still hyperactive following the cage match, and the arena is filled with cheers and shouting. The four surviving teams enter, accompanied by their appropriate themes, and the tension can be felt by everyone; none of the competitors wants to fail having come so close to the titles.
Ginger: For this final match, there will be 3 pinfalls or submissions; as each fall is made the pinned team will be eliminated from the match, with the last remaining team being crowned champions.
The referee calls all the participants together and warns them that behaviour akin to that displayed by EvilBush will not be tolerated. To underline his point, a fresh bunch of backup referees are seen waiting close to the arena entrance in case they are needed.
Called forward by the referee, Kane and Spider step forward to begin the match, and the other wrestlers return to their corners.
Bell rings.
Spider goes straight into attack mode, determined to make up for his earlier loss to Tyd412. He ducks Kane’s first punch and then retaliates with one of his own; Kane is shaken by this but he stays on his feet. Kane however is no fool, and he recognises that Spider has not had sufficient time to recover from his previous endeavours. Showing some skilful footwork, Kane bobs and weaves to avoid Spider’s blows, staying close enough to encourage Spider to continue his attacks; Spider uses up a large chunk of energy before he works out what Kane is up to. Spider has tactics of his own though, and he tries to play his opponents off against one another by sneakily tagging in Blaze when she is not fully paying attention. Kane smirks and waits for Blaze to enter the ring; Blaze looks a little apprehensive, but she boldly goes forward and walks up to Kane, meeting his gaze head on. Suddenly, without warning Latino starts shouting and makes a move as if to enter the ring; as the referee turns to look at him Blaze gives Kane a swift kick in the groin; Kane’s knees buckle and with her opponent at a more manageable height Blaze gives him a double footed standing dropkick. Latino abruptly halts his protests and as the referee turns back to the ring Blaze reverses the trick against Flatline by tagging Furor Celtica, rolling out of the ring as she does so. Enraged and sore, Kane storms toward Latino and Blaze’s corner, but Latino moves quickly aside and Furor takes advantage; coming from behind Kane he surprises everyone by lifting his 320 pound opponent and delivering the Dark Druid. Furor covers and gets a 2 count on Kane; undeterred Furor tries for a repeat performance. GWD rushes in and makes the save, causing Furor to drop Kane; Spider also enters the ring and a four way punch up ensues. The crowd is clearly loving all of this, and their cheering increases even more as the remaining four competitors, as if struck by a simultaneous thought, fan out to the four corners and launch into the melee with frog splashes, moonsaults and a particularly fine Thor’s hammer from Bladeshadow that connects with directly with Furor’s head. Seeing Furor go down, Kane further demonstrates the intelligent part of his nature and, swatting away the other competitors around him, gathers up Furor and hits his own finisher, the Rain of Pain. Kane drops down to cover Furor; almost instantly the ring empties, with GWD clotheslining Spider to stop him breaking the cover up. With all the distractions resolved, the referee slides in and makes the 1-2-3 count.
Ginger: Flatline have been eliminated!
As Kane stalks away, Spider gets back to his feet and for a moment it looks as if he will go after Kane. The referee gives him a hard look though and Spider thinks better of it. Furor gets back to his feet and as the two exit the ring, he kicks the apron in anger; Flatline swear and curse at their opponents as they leave, while the crowd taunts the fallen heel team with obvious enjoyment.

Kane is still the legal man, and as things settle again he taunts Latino to try and draw him into the match. Latino fumes and gestures back, but Blaze puts a hand on his arm and reminds him to keep his cool. Kane has his back to the third team in the match, and V3 takes advantage, running in to hit Kane with a cross body from behind and drive him face first into the mat. Judging that Kane is too heavy to lift effectively, V3 locks on his Invertigo submission hold. Kane though has a high tolerance to submission moves, and he seems to be relatively unaffected; after only a short time Kane is able to reach the ropes and V3 is forced to let go. As Kane rises, V3 tries for another cross body but Kane easily counters and lifts him up and over his head into a back drop. Kane tags to his partner who is fresh and ready to go; V3 is close to Latino and Blaze’s corner, and seeing that he is in trouble Blaze reaches down and tags him out to let him recover. Quickly entering the ring, Blaze rolls forward to meet GWD and when he is close enough, she extends up into a handstand and catches his head between her feet as he bends forward to grab her. With all her power Blaze flips GWD forward and his own momentum carries him into the second rope. Blaze is back on her feet in a flash and, taking just a second to back up a little, she hits the 619 to send GWD sprawling back into the centre of the ring. Swiftly Blaze covers, and a 2 count is given before GWD physically throws her off. Blaze rolls out of the throw; finding herself in Blade and V3’s corner, she sees Bladeshadow indicate that he wants to take over and they quickly switch. GWD and Kane now conclude that the two face teams are colluding to eliminate them, but they have no intention of letting this happen. As Blade comes forward, GWD evades him and then knocks him down with a huge leg lariat. Dropping to the mat GWD applies the crippler crossface to Blade and then gradually drags his victim back to his own corner, inching back whilst maintaining the hold. Once there GWD switches to a sleeper to wear Blade down, and when he is satisfied that Blade is partially immobile he tags back to Kane. The crowd noise rises as Kane goes up to the top of the post and delivers an Elbow Drop; Kane covers and only pure willpower allows Blade to get his shoulder up just before the 3 count. Kane pins again and V3 tries to get to him to break the cover, but the referee forces him back. With the ref’s back turned, GWD goes up to the top of the post and Kane moves aside to let him hit Blade; Latino and Blaze though are not about to sit by and let this happen. Using her exceptional sense of balance, Blaze hops up on to the rope and practically runs along it to where GWD is standing; on arrival she kicks him hard in the gut and sends him flying backward so that he smacks his head against the security barrier as he comes down. Kane sees Blaze but there is no time for him to act, and he fails to see Latino coming up behind him. Latino hits a scissors kick on Kane as he kneels next to Blade, and follows up with an elbow drop; With Blaze now occupying GWD’s previous position she hits a 450 splash on Kane. V3 sees all this happen and instantly shuts up; Latino rolls the still groggy Blade into a cover on Kane and when the referee turns back to the action this is all that he sees. The crowd counts 1-2-3 with the referee and there are major celebrations as the last of the heel teams is knocked out of the match.
Ginger: Kane and GWD have been eliminated!
Kane is clearly livid at being knocked out of the competition, but he restrains himself as the referee motions for he and GWD to leave. He stares coldly at Latino and Blaze, and draws a finger across his throat as he goes to indicate that their feud is far from settled.
Despite all the punishment from Kane and GWD, Bladeshadow is fairly well recovered by the time the referee is ready for the last stage of the match to commence. Standing tall and proud at making it to the last phase of the competiton, he waits for one of the opposing team to join him in the ring. Both Latino and Blaze have given 110% to make it to this stage, and both are now showing signs of fatigue; after a brief discussion Latino slips into the ring to meet Blade. The referee signals for the match to restart and Blade swings a massive tornado kick at Latino; Latino ducks and goes for a superkick of his own, but Blade also avoids the blow and as he does so he catches Latino and delivers a DDT. Blade pins, but Latino kicks out before the referee gets to 2. Feeling the effects of the match, Blade tags back to his partner, and V3 moves in quickly. V3 is still determined to avenge his previous loss and driven by this he sets up and hits the I-G-S (German suplex into Rock Bottom). Another pin with the leg hooked, and Latino just barely responds before 3. Frustrated, V3 hauls Latino back to his feet; Latino though is not ready to give in just yet. The pair exchange punches and kicks; from their corners their partners call out encouragement. Latino shakes his shoulders and fires up; V3 also responds and the crowd is practically off its head with excitement. Coming from opposite sides of the ring the pair both try for clotheslines, but the result is that they clash heads and both go down hard. The referee counts and the crowd roars for both men to get up; they edge their way back to their corners, and both tag at almost exactly the same moment. Blade and Blaze charge at each other; Blade has more weight and he knocks Blaze down, but she rolls over to press Blade’s shoulder’s to the mat and flips over into a bridge. The referee again counts 2 before Blade wrenches himself free. Both get to their feet and Blade gets behind Blaze; he locks his arms around her waist but she resists, and the two stumble backward into the corner where V3 is recovering. Blade swings around and goes to drive Blaze against the post, but Blaze lifts up her feet and as Blade moves forward he inadvertently pushes them into V3, knocking him back off of the apron. Blade maintains the hold on Blaze as the battle moves back to the centre of the ring, but Blaze elbows him in the chest to wind him and he finally lets go. Without pausing, Blaze reaches behind her and, hooking her arms around under those of Blade she falls forward and slams his head into the mat. Blaze covers, but Blade just manages to kick out and it looks like the match is at a stalemate……….

Quickly Blaze uses a leg drop to keep Blade down and buy herself some time. Breathing hard, Blaze is at a loss as to what to do and she winces as she feels the effects of her trip earlier with DWB; she simply does not have the weight or force to make her slams as effective as they need to be. Then her eyes light up as a crazy idea occurs to her; She returns to Latino in their corner and whispers something urgently in his ear. Latino looks at her as if she has taken leave of her senses, and at first he shakes his head; as Blade starts to rouse himself Blaze takes Latino’s hand and urges him to listen. Seeing that they are almost out of time, Latino gives in and climbs up to a kneeling position on the turnbuckle; then Blaze climbs up to join him and kneels on his shoulders. Latino grits his teeth and, forcing back the agony in his shoulder, he stands up; summoning every last ounce of strength he lifts Blaze by her waist so that she is horizontal and facing forward. Blaze spreads her arms wide and just as Blade is back on his feet, Latino leans back and then launches his partner forward into space. The extra height of the fall increases the power of the resulting impact by a large margin, and Blade is almost knocked senseless. Blaze too is badly stunned but she pushes Blade on to his back and the referee counts; at the last second V3 reappears and breaks the cover. Blaze grabs on to V3 and rolls away; Latino though is now able to deliver the decisive blow, and he hits his trademark frogsplash on to Blade. With V3 still tangled up with Blaze there is no one to break Latino’s pin and the arena roof practically comes off as the bell rings.
Ginger: Here are your winners…..and the NEW Tag Team Champions…..DJ Blaze and Latino!!
The match has drained every drop of energy from all the remaining participants, and for a good 10 seconds everyone just lies still on the mat. Latino rolls off of Blade and sits up, staring around him at the crowd who are cheering wildly for all four people in the ring. Blade pulls himself up next to him; the disappointment is obvious but he still manages a smile and the camera shows him mouth the words “next time” to Latino. Latino just grins back, and the two help each other to their feet. A few feet away V3 and Blaze are also picking themselves up; V3 supports Blaze and the somewhat glassy look in her eyes suggests a slight concussion. Latino comes over and the two share a hug; there is an audible “aahhhhhh” from the more romantic element in the audience. The referee, not wanting to disturb the moment, tactfully slips the two belts into their hands as they embrace; after a few moments they separate and each looks with a sense of wonder at the belts they have worked so hard to capture. Blade and V3 shake hands with the victors, and the crowd applauds them loudly as they make their way back up the ramp; in the ring, Latino and Blaze climb the turnbuckles and show off the belts to the fans whose support means so much to them.
End of Show.
