I think I'm getting better...But I could use some help. My promos are gradually getting longer, but are still short. How do people like Snake and Chance, go on and on for so long! I try but I say everything, think it's long look back and it's not...
And please don't rub in the "Extreme of the Ring" Thing...I get that enough from my friend...who DIDNT EVEN JOIN THIS FED!

you just ahve to learn how to elaborate on topics, and add a little more dialgoue to highten whatever point you are writing the promo for.

I know how that feels, when I first started writing matches, for example, I wrote some startlingly short stuff, especially compared to today. Sometimes, short and sweet works out quite well, don't force length, it'll come with experience.

A good way to get longer promos is to just go into more detail on the stuff that's not said. Like I generally like to be a bit more descriptive on what the people do while they say something or elaboriate how they feel, move, gesture, etc. It's a simple but effective way to get more of your promo.
Just remember not to abuse it. I don't think anyone wants a wall of italic text lol.

Get someone to do dialog with, that's an easy way to add length, without sacrificing quality. I generally prefer doing dialog centered segments that get the point across without taking three posts to do so.
