I was just wondering if I could get an opinion on the Flashback segments. So far 1-5 are up over the course of the last two shows (Auguest 31 and Sept 4). Input on them is greatly apreciated.

Flashback Segment #1: Praise: Very nice, during the conversation you really captured the uncomfortable feeling between the two and it was quite nice how that worked. Contained some good bits of humour too (Sunshine, Lollypops = ). Gives a nice bit of background information on the team, showing those who don't know that BK and Jake go back a long way, which is what makes them a good team. The end line was nice, sorta gave me the picture of their lifes as a teen movie (ala American Pie). Criticisms: The whole "we're out of money" phonecall and the wrecking ball at the end kinda killed the (previously brilliant) feel of realism for me, as if the fans'd be gone already! Favourite Quote: Flashback Segment #2:Praise: Once again you really managed to capture the 'we barely know each other' feeling and gave some nice background on Jake's family. Also, you used subtle comedy to full effect once more (the not pausing for suspense is a prefect example of this). Criticisms: To be honest, I would have preferred if their new place wasn't so nice as I feel that once more the segment lost a touch of realism like in Segment #1. If you'd have kept the feel of realism in this Segment it would have improved it greatly in my humble opinion (but maybe that's just me?). Favourite Quote: Flashback Segment #3:Praise: I feel this segment works really well, mentioning subtle things about each character (such as the video game thing with Jake) that most people willl know and recognise, it's a nice touch. Again, you guys really seem to be able to capture the emotions of the character(s) at the given time, (you wankers ) I could actually picture BK being embarrased while explaining where he lives. The comedy used throughout these segments makes me think of these as scenes from an awesome Sit-Com. Also, the realism of this segment was consistent all the way through (I was expecting Kelly to get eaten by a crocodile at the end, or something equally stupid). Criticisms: Not much to criticize with this one, just a couple of lines which didn't make much sense when reading ("It’s warm, most of the country, which is under snow" being the first that springs to mind). Favourite Quote: Flashback Segment #4:Praise: Probably the best, and funniest, so far, I loved the way you teased that they may be having sex at the start. Again, the comedy is in full swing and it works really well. Criticisms: You messed up the 'sex' part at the start with the "Right foot red" line...it would have made it funnier if you left it until the lights came on until you revealed that they were playing Twister. Favourite Quote: Flashback Segment #5:Praise: Best segment so far, you bastards even forced me to choose 2 favourite quotes! The humour used here was just pure class. Again, you seemed to capture the emotions brilliantly. Criticisms: BK should have got slapped by Kelly, that is all. Favourite Quote(s):
