(This is who I shall be from now on. Rourke is gone for the time being)
[/center]
Name: Byron Rockwood
Height: 5 foot 8
Weight: 200
Age: Unknown
Alliance: Tweener/Heel
Hometown: Tombstone, Arizona
Entrance Music: Haunted - Poe media.putfile.com/Poe---Haunted
Poser: Austin Aries
Physical Description: his eyes are bright bottle green, and look unnatural. Byron is fairly well built, but not muscle-bound. he looks pretty much like he hits the gym once in a while, as his muscles are defined, but he is not a gym rat. his hair is medium length and looks like he just lets it lie. he also has a beard that seems a bit poofy, as if it curls in upon itself at it's length, but it looks relatively well groomed.
his arms and torso are covered in multicolored tattoos that bleed together. they seem to be numerous small circles with different colors of the outside and interior as well as a few symbols and pictures that may hold some significance. here and there, there are scars that have been highlighted with color. one sinister looking one directly over the heart. on his right side, underneath his arm, extending below the trunks and to the mid stomach and mid back is tattooed black, but with animalistic claw marks, as if giving the impression of being torn apart.
Ring Gear: he wrestles in black wrestling tights that have deep purple fissure-like marks, as if to look like lava, had lava been purple. he wears gloves to mid forearm that are fingerless and black, but have three white bands. one from the area between thumb and forefinger to wrist, and two along the way up at the same angle. he has black wrestling boots with the toe section deep blood red with a streak extending all the way to the ankle.
Entrance: The lights go off, and the opening strands of Haunted hit. right before the lyrics come, black lights fade up as well as some real lights, keeping the arena dim, but with a surreal look. the ramp has filled with a type of black mist as a man stands in the entry arch, looking towards the ring, opponent inside. after the first "bu-duh-ba-ba"s end, the lights go out again. as the second chorus of them end and the third begin, the lights come up again, Byron standing in the ramp. this repeats until the actual spoken lyrics kick in, with him getting closer and closer to the ring. he never ends in the ring, often appearing beside it. he stalks around the ring, measuring the opponent before entering.
Gimmick: [glow=red,2,300]Poltergeist.[/glow] poltergeists are very negative spirits that cause devastation wherever they are. they are not playful, but not necessarily evil. in some theories, they feed off fear. this is what Byron does. he feeds off the fear that he causes.
Match Notes: Byron likes to get in his opponents head, but because of his height, prefers a mix of ground and aerial moves to power moves. Byron is, however, deceptively strong. you would not expect him to lift much, but he can lift opponents heavier than he is, though over 260 pounds, they are less powerful than the move looks. he also (as stated below) gets in the head of his opponent by doing chain wrestling. several moves in rapid sucession are a key to his power.
Character History: Byron Rockwood is a decedent of english poet Lord Byron. it is there that his traceable past ends, and even that is not provable. ghostly images of a similar looking individual appear unexpectedly in photographs taken in both family photos as well as documented photos of both the Hartfield Poltergeist case from 1997 as well as the Hare case of 1980. those are the only two confirmed sightings, but as many as 50 others are suspected to be the same entity. this is suspected because not only do the images look the same, but they all describe the same thing. a very violent entity. furnature being moved and broken, entire rooms being disturbed. objects floating and being thrown at people. however, in relation to Byron, these reports are just anecdotal, as Byron can’t be a poltergeist... right?
--------------------------------------------
Finishers:
Favorite
House of Leaves: he gets behind his opponent and crosses their arms and delivers a quick rear northern lights suplex. he then rolls over laterally and locks in a cross-armed camel clutch. the rapid succession as well as the power behind this move make it so devastating few can resist the urge to tap out.
Secondary
The Byronic: locks the arms around their own neck as a straight jacket, then falls backward, bringing their upper back down onto his knees in a Lungblower. he can pop this move off whenever he damn well feels like it, but prefers to keep it in reserve as
Desperation
Unfinished Business : gets opponent in an inverted face lock, then lifts leg over opponent and sits down, driving them down back first. this is used rarely, as he feels this is the little bit extra that the situation may call for. also, if he is facing an opponent too big for his usual finishes, this may be the only option.
--------------------------------------------
Trademark Moves:
1.) EctoBlaster: whips opponent into the turnbuckle, then runs at them, leaping into the air, and connecting with his knees to their torso
2.) The Entity: has opponent on the turnbuckle, lifts them so he is carrying them horizontally, then moonsaults off, slamming them into the ground.
3.) Unrestful Soul: backflips and boots the opponent in the skull
4.) as opponent is running towards him, he grabs them in a gutwrench hold and falls backward as he lifts them up into a facebuster
5.) backflips off the turnbuckle at a standing opponent, grabs their neck and hits a twisting neckbreaker
6.) Corkscrew Moonsault Elbow Drop
7.) grabs opponent in a bearhug, then as they are weakened, realizes the hold and latches onto their head. he then paces his head under their chin and sits down in a Jawbreaker
8.) leg swing DDT (Lita's)
9.) Frankenstiner
10.) Muta Lock
11) Standing Cross Armbar (hangs off the guy’s arm and pushes off shoulder and head)
--------------------------------------------
Normal Moves:
1) Transitions. he likes to go from move to move quite a bit. keeping on the opponent. (e.g. sunset flip to armbar, if a pin doesn't work, go to submission)
2.) Springboard reverse clothesline
3.) Missile dropkick
4.) diving knee drop bulldog
5.) Full Nelson Backbreaker
6.) diving fist drop
7.) drop toe hold
8.) sitout rear mat slam
9.) high knee attack
10.) headscisors takedown
11.) glimmering warlock
12.) standing crossface
13.) fireman’s carry
14.) arm drag
15.) crucifix pin
16.) rear naked choke with
17.) high-angle fujiwara armbar
18.) uranage slam
19.) axe kick
20.) instant dropkick
okay, the profil is up, I will keep the Rourke name on my account for a little while to ease the transition. give me advice on the moveset everyone. it is not set in stone.
*deep inhale* good to be back!
