Character History: He was born in Syracuse, New York. At the age of 13, he became alienated from his friends for no real reason that he knew of, so he found new friends. Weights. Santiago decided it was time to move on and define himself, and not let others define him. Going into summer leading to his 8th grade year, Santiago left a scrawny kid who got picked on, but then came back the kid nobody wanted to f*** with.
Through the rest of his school years he just got bigger and more afraid of. The coach of the football team and baseball teams both sucked up to Santiago, wanting this force to be on their side, so he did. His only loves were sports. Baseball, football, and wrestling were where his dreams lied. In football, he was used just to block people and let them get the spot light. In baseball, he was just used as the designated power hitter, crushing the ball each time. Still though, he was alienated from those he call his friends.
Santiago got suspended from school for 3 weeks for getting in a fight and badly hurting a student. This person abused Santiago each day, calling him Roids, and other names and one day Santiago just snapped. He grabbed him by the throat and threw him through the air into lockers, denting them all in and having his body dent go through them. He was named as a threat at his school as everybody steered away from him even more. This is still why today Santiago has anger problems.
While managing college and his move down to Austin, Texas, Santiago trained in gyms for the debut of his wrestling career. During breaks and long weekends, Santiago would travel down to Mexico to train with the AAA where he learned how to be quick and agile for such a large man. These were the only people who were nice to him in his life, other people being his new friends that he met in college. These people respected him, and gave him the confidence he holds today.
Santiago finally made his debut in ACW with an impact, scaring of Jearus and man handling Jake Cheng. Towards his first few weeks, the Senatorial Stable scouted this talent and wanted him. Santiago joined the Senatorial Stable as Rena the bitch of ACW had a problem with him along with Bre Double T. In his debut match, he was put into a Barbed Wire Cage match, very different than his previous low known feds he's been in, Before, all matches were quick paced and high flying, but now they were slow and brutal.
The change in background took Santiago a while to get used to until he faced Davey Marvel and everything just seemed to flow good from there. He has faced winning, good times, and he has faced losing times. On January 5, 2006, his 4th win ever in his 12th match defeated BK London for the International Championship. Santiago cruised on through the months as champion, and on February 13, became tag champions with Hunter, holding the tag title and International title at the same time. 17 days later they lost the titles due to much interference.
RDK became Santiago's mentor over time and almost got him thrown out of the Senatorial Stable due to RDK being a top rival. He was told to choose and right when it looked like he left the stable, he brutally attacked RDK and sided with Hunter once again, stating this whole thing was a set up. This set up to Santiago's famous fued with RDK where the International title was put up in an Ultimate X. Both contenders fell with the titl and result went in favor of Santiago, he fell with the title first. This decision was made by Ginger who also had something up his sleeve. Within the next week or so, Santiago turned on the SS with BK London, Predator, and Jake Cheng, who formed the new Corporate Alliance. Santiago then debuted his famous segment where he had mocked RDK to each and every mannerism by the macho man
Santiago went through a rough patch of losses which made BK London upset, so he put him in a match with RDK at Fallen Heroes for the International Title. After a low blow and a Macho Slam, RDK became victorious and took the title away from Santiago after a record breaking 114 days as Champion, beating BK London's reign by just a few days. Later that night in the Fallen Heroes battle royal, Santiago's own partner, Jake Cheng "did Santiago a favor" as he tipped his ladder over, sending him out of the battle royale and through the announcers table. This was all a set up by the Corporate Alliance to kick him out for humiliating them with losses.
Ginger then set a hold on Santiago's contract, making sure he can't return ever. He just can sit on his couch, rot away, never show up in ACW again, and get paid minimum wage until his contract runs out. To be let back in, Santiago had to get technical. He started coming to ACW shows as El Conquistador. He won the Light Heavyweight Title and at Spring into Hell had to defend against Jake Cheng, the man he beat for the title. He revealed himself as Santiago as he retained the title. Philip announced the champion, Santiago. Santiago told Ginger no rules had been broken as that could have been an identical look alike but since Santiago was named champion, he has to participate in shows. He found a crack in the system.
Santiago now has been called out by Scott Andrews as he is on the "hitlist" and Scott wants his title. Jake is also still chasing after the title and after weeks of fighting between Scott and Santiago, the matter of the Light Heavyweight Title will be decided at Omega Effect II. On June 25, 2006, Omega Effect II came into play. The three went in and found vigoriously for the title. After a long bout, Devils Knight came in to get revenge for Santiago beating. While Jake was high into the air as Santiago was going to deliver a chokeslam, Devils chokeslammed Santiago, sending Jake twice as high into the air. Without Devils knowing, Santiago flipped over from the impact with an arm over Jake and secured the victory. However, Ginger came out to ruin the fun, he stripped Santiago of his title for being 5 pounds over the weight limit. The matc was restarted as Scott vs Jake for the title. Jake was still knocked out so all Scott had to do is crawl over onto Jake, claiming the title. Now without the title, what awaits for Santiago Rivera?

A: A suprise, out of nowhere strike. [/blockquote]
B: The Bow and Arrow Strike. Usually when Santi is in full control of the match and is feeling a little cocky. He taunts his opponent by pulling out his "bow" then placing an arrow on it before pulling back. As the opponent turns towards Santi he then delivers the Iron Palm. This version is most effective as it has the most precision.[/blockquote]
C: A normal Palm. If Santi is neither in the mood, or doesn't have enough energy, he'll just stalk his opponent before delivering the blow. [/blockquote]

Now doing this, he has assured himself that his opponent is knocked out enough for this.
