Age: 24

Entrance Description: Allan isn't one for pyros or loud music, and Hank Williams does that for him. Allan walks to the ring and slaps some hands with the fans, but ultimately never allows himself to get too caught up in the moment. His entrance video is similar to his entrance style and personality, only showing a few highlights of the man and scenery from the West Virginia mountains.
Physical Description: Short in height, but remarkably fit from years of physical labor. Allan has short hair and a neatly trimmed goatee that occasionally is surrounded by a 5 o'clock shadow. He's not one for being eccentric, but he does sport a tattoo on his wrist of the state of West Virginia with the words "Made in..." written above it.
Titles held in other E-feds: None
Character History: Allan Murphy was born into a family of West Virginian coal miners that had been long established in the small town of Coalwood, WV since his great great great grandfather immigrated to the United States from Ireland. When he was 15, his family moved to the larger, more suburban environment of Bluefield, WV. His father continued to commute to the coal mines, leaving Murphy as the head of the household over his younger sister and mother. Murphy also used to hitchhike back to his grandparents farm where he would help out as much as he could during the harvest and planting seasons. As if that wasn’t enough, at 17 years old, he dropped out of high school and took up odd jobs to help support his family. The combined paychecks from the coal mine and the odd jobs were enough for the family to get by, but that all changed one day during a routine roof-bolt check at the mines. While his father was underground, the roof collapsed, almost crushing his father and twelve other men underground. All of the men were rescued, but it would be along time before his dad would see the insides of the mine again. At this point, yet another sacrifice had to be made and, at 18 years old, Allan began working in the mines. After spending a year and a half underground, his father was cleared to work again, and due to the persistence of his mother, Allan quit his job at the mines and began pursuing his own career. For a high school drop-out who only knew how to work, the job markets weren’t too broad.
As a child, Allan was a big fan of professional wrestling, looking up to the likes of “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Sting as idols. Figuring he hadn’t much to lose, he enrolled in a local wrestling school headed by WWE Hall of Famer, “The Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant and it was there that he was taught the ropes. Shortly after, he debuted in NWA Mountain State and began touring the state with the group. The roads were long and hard, especially for a man who didn’t have a dime to his name, but Murphy persisted in his stubborn, Irish ways… he absolutely refused to give up. After a year or two with NWA Mountain State, Murphy decided to try his luck out on a small independent promotion in the Pennsylvania area called Chikara. The head trainers at the school, Mike Quackenbush and Chris Hero, didn’t know what to make of the old school grappling style of Murphy, but immediately started teaching him to incorporate the speed and agility of a luchadore into his smash mouth style. With Chikara, he was introduced to larger, more lucrative promotions, but his attitudes never changed. Murphy still went out there, worked his ass off, and either won or lost… but mostly won. Many who witnessed Murphy in the ring can testify for his intensity and his heart that would never allow him to give up.
A few more years went by and now Murphy has stumbled across ACW. His only goal is to hold the one thing that has been ducking out on him… a championship belt. Yes, for a guy who has paid his dues on the road, he’s never once had a taste of gold. He’s had his opportunities, but he has fallen short time and time again. Has he ever complained? No. He just pushes himself harder to due better next time.
Catchphrase: “You may get the first punch… you may get the second… but, by gawd, I’ll get the last!”
Other: Due to his humble beginnings, Murphy is a very soft-spoken man who takes what he can and works hard for what he does have. His only vices are his short temper when it comes to people trying to write him off as some hick from the mountains and his pride which has been known to get him into more than his fair share of scuffles.
