Character History
Sarin was born Arjumand Banu on the fifth day of April. Her mother was the fifth daughter of a semi-wealthy cloth merchant in Agra, India. A vacationing Irish business man caught sight of her sweeping the entrance to her father's shop. Shane Rossi left India after staying with Arjumand's mother for only one night. Later it became evident that she was with child, and her family rejected her in disgrace. If Arjumand had been a boy, they might have reconsidered, but raising a dowry for a child is expensive, and money was better spent on children not conceived in sin.
So Arjumand and her mother spent their days on the streets, facing discrimination and often went to bed hungry. Shane Rossi sent a monthly check to his former lover, and they used that plus the meager earnings from odd jobs to scrape out a living. One day, however, Arjumand's mother discovered a lump in her breast. In just a few months she was dead, but she managed to give her daughter one last gift before passing: a one-way ticket to Ireland.
When Arjumand arrived at her father's doorstep, he was shocked, but nonetheless took her in. He legally changed her name to Sarin Rossi a few weeks later. Sarin was extremely shy in her local public high school. The establishment forbade any religious clothing, so she was forced to leave her veil at home. She still prayed faithfully to Allah five times a day, and ended each evening with a reading from the Koran. While she was timid at school, Sarin grew an intense hatred for her father. He was easily one of the wealthiest men in Ireland, and lived in absolute luxury, while she and her mother went to bed many nights with an empty stomach. He dined on delicacies twice the cost of a hospital bill in India.
Sarin's grudge burgeoned into intense hatred, and she vowed one day to make her father suffer. She drilled herself in Aikido martial arts every day for four hours, toning her body and sharpening her mind. This increase in confidence led her to start socializing at school. While Arjumand was the most insecure girl on the block, Sarin Rossi was the resident beauty queen with a hundred friends!
After she graduated from high school, Sarin began her studies in psychology at Dublin University. Halfway through the semester, she received word that her father was dying. She went to visit him in the hospital, not knowing if she felt sorry for him or if she wanted to watch him die. Shane Rossi scorned his relationship with Sarin's mother till his last breath. Sarin smothered him with a pillow until his heart stopped.
She didn't know if the autopsy would reveal her murder, or if there would even be an autopsy, so she fled the country and took up residence in Japan. There, she studied more intense martial arts under many masters. She learned Aiki-jujitsu and some ninjitsu techniques. Unsure of what to do with her life, Sarin wandered the streets of Tokyo, bored. One day, a ACW talent scout passed by an Aikido dojo and saw the lovely Sarin practicing her techniques. Entranced by her moves and beauty, he offered her a development contract. Sarin accepted and flew to the United States, where she trained with the best of the best.
After several successful months competing under the stage name Scarlet, Sarin left ACW to live with her newfound lover Yoko Satoshi in Okinawa, Japan, with Yoko's family and younger sister Yuki. After a comfortable hiatus from the hectic wrestling business, Sarin is now ready to compete once again alongside partner Yoko.
E-Fed History
Sarin joined ACW under the name of Scarlet, mainly due to the revealing red cocktail dresses she wore backstage and in the ring. She impressed her trainers so much she was offered a debut match against Yoko Satoshi for the ACW World Title. Though she lost the match, the fans could see early on what a fierce and dedicated competitor she was.
Though wrestling infrequently in ACW, the fans got to know Scarlet a lot better through the interesting interviews she conducted backstage. With a happy-go-lucky personality coupled with an amazing body, Scarlet won the hearts of the ACW fans through her hilarious backstage segments and other promotions. When she was required to mix it up in the ring, Scarlet was not afraid to use her martial arts background to her advantage. She captured many upset wins against much more experienced stars like Daredevil, Davey Marvel, and V-3.
Ever since their first electrifying match, Scarlet and Yoko began a strange courtship. They flirted and teased one another backstage, though Scarlet was hesitant to take the relationship further, for she never possessed feelings for another woman before. After Yoko and RDK fled ACW from the murderous Mercer Stanton, Scarlet came to the realization that she loved Yoko passionately and did not want to see her get hurt. Fortunately, Yoko and RDK made it back to ACW safely, and after defeating Stanton, Scarlet showed her true appreciation to Yoko by performing a very sacred and private act in front of the roaring ACW fans.
During this time, Scarlet attracted the attention of a certain wrestler, Felix Santana Jr. Along with his father, Felix Santana Sr, he stalked poor Scarlet in the locker rooms, taking pictures of her and antagonizing the buxom woman to no end. After defeating both Felixes in separate matches, Scarlet finally put to rest the Santana threat and concentrated on seriously competing.
However, Stanton stripped Yoko of her ACW World Title belt, and the Japanese youth felt obligated to return to Japan and spend time with her sister Yuki and her family. Unable to bear parting from her beloved, Scarlet left ACW and a promising career to live with Yoko in Okinawa, Japan. While vacationing in Okinawa, Yoko and Scarlet were faithful watchers of ACW television, and knew that the devious Triple A was up to no good. They arrived back at the ACW arena in time to foil the plans of Mr. Ash, Mr. Aoyama, Ms. Aurelia, and the presumed dead Mercer Stanton. Everyone was surprised to see Scarlet sporting a classy new look.
After successfully saving ACW and its key superstars from certain death, Scarlet and Yoko have decided to return to the active roster and compete once more, this time hailed as heroes. As a homage to her lover, Scarlet has removed her stage name and now goes by her real name of Sarin, and uses the handle of "The Flower of Chaos."
Following her explosive return, Sarin and Yoko retook ACW by storm. They quickly set out to capture the elusive Tag Team Titles, held by the notorious Cold Blooded Killers. Sarin helped break Yoko's "tag team curse" by successfully defeating CBK for the championships at Fallen Heroes (04.29.06). At Spring into Hell (06.01.06), Flower Power successfully defended their titles against the satirical team of Hunter and Fallen Souls, after Yoko cut Hunter open with Ridley's infamous weedwhacker. For good measure, Sarin executed a devastatingly powerful flying jump-swinging DDT on a hapless Hunter from on top of the ladder. In the very same night, Sarin competed in a rumble against many other superstars for Alicia's title. Showing impressive nerve and fortitude, Sarin outlasted nearly all the combatants but was finally struck down by Chance after several blatantly illegal moves by him and his partner Umeko.
Following her success at Spring into Hell, Sarin fell victim of the poisonous lies of Chance and Umeko. She believed Yoko would soon desert her after physically assaulting her. Ginger also booked the two in a match for Omega Effect, which certainly did not help her doubts. Come Omega Effect, Sarin received sage and valuable advice from Alicia Kitsune, helping her to overcome her personal fears and grow stronger in her relationship with Yoko. After a spectacular match, Yoko pinned Sarin after her own finisher, the Flower of Chaos. Almost immediately following the match, Sarin and Yoko let their passions for each other run free in a very pleasurable union.
With Omega Effect behind them, Flower Power was free to concentrate on the threat from the villainous Chance Emmerson and his equally devious partner Umeko Saito. In a stunning contest, Chance and Umeko apparently "defeated' Flower Power for the Tag Titles, though the referee failed to notice that Chance's German suplex bridge was so sloppy, his own shoulders were down for the three count as well. The next show, head referee RAF reveals the blunder, calls the contest a draw, and Flower Power retained their titles. A furious Umeko steals away with partner Chance, still in possession of the titles. At Seven Deadly Sins, Yoko and Sarin manage to defeat the monstrous Chance and recapture their titles, a win which nearly guarantees them a spot in the record books as the longest reigning tag team champions in ACW history.
After defeating Chance and Umeko, Flower Power went on to defend their titles successfully a few more times, keeping alive their undefeated streak. Sarin was also active in singles competition, capturing wins against then current World Champion Latino in a non-title match, as well as defeating 7'0 monster Hitman of the Gods. In a spectacular event, Sarin and Yoko defeated Top Draw on Meltdown, though the tape was lost and the match never aired. After a wild goose chase to find the tape, Flower Power aired the match in Emperor of the Ring, 2006. Immediately after, Yoko and Sarin came down to the ring to make an important announcement: the tag team titles were now retired, due to minimal competition in the division. Sarin, also, had some shocking news: with Stacy Keibler's help, she was able to secure a spot for herself on the hit celebrity reality show, Dancing with the Stars! Watch Monday Night Warfare and Thursday Night Meltdown for weekly updates on Sarin's progress, and don't forget to vote!
During Warfare, it was revealed that Sarin and Yoko were quite busy during their vacation in Okinawa. Deciding to aid the good citizens of Japan, the pair assumed the roles of Gatogal and Frost, superheroines destined to combat villains!
