BIOGRAPHY
Hitman of the Gods was born Tyler Scott Stevens on January 28, 1978 in Red Deer, Alberta. It wasn't until he found out in high school that he was born with gigantism, a condition which his great-uncle had. In high school, his height commanded tons of respect and instilled fear yet he was one of the kindest, polite people you could ever meet. He did go into a few sports but his one true love in high school was Greek mythology and studying the ways of the gods, something that would have a profound effect on his life.
When Hitman graduated from high school, he went to college and tried out for the wrestling team. He was certainly hard to pin and he managed to go 50-0 at his college. When he wasn't wrestling, Hitman was studying up on mythology, trying to get as much information on it as he could. Once he graduated from college, Hitman decided to become a professional wrestler. He took training and was unleashed into the world of professional wrestling on March 17, 2003 as Hitman of the Gods.
From there, Hitman began his path of dominance, taking out anyone who opposed him. His immense size got him noticed by the Kritical Wrestling Alliance. He signed on and debuted on the April 22nd episode of Rebellion, showing up during XS3 and Ben Drinkin's Last Man Standing Match and ultimately destroying Ben, giving XS3 the victory.
From there, XS3, his then-wife Kirsten (before she was murdered), Punished Fox, Hitman and Vash the Stampede formed the Gung Ho Guns, a stable dedicated to getting rid of the evil known as the Ravencroft Foundation. Unfortunately, XS3 suffered an injury while Hitman turned on the Guns to join Ravencroft. Soon after, Hitman turned face when Ravencroft disbanded and he and Fox left KWA. Hitman never had one match in KWA during his stay.
Hitman then turned his attention over to Alpha Championship Wrestling and began a new career like no other. For a couple months, he squashed quite a few superstars before getting a shot at the Entertainment Championship at Heatwave. His opponent was Kudo Yasuda, who would go on to be the longest reigning Entertainment Champion in ACW history. The match ended when Fallen Souls showed up and distracted Hitman, leading to Kudo delivering a Yakuza Knee off the referee for the victory.
Hitman joined up with the Senatorial Stable in October 2005 on the same night he challenged RDK for the World Championship. He then targeted the International Championship, which at the time was held by BK London. The two met at MachoMania in a Russian Chain Match which ended in a draw. Hitman had one more title opportunity, this time at the ACW Tag Team Championship, with his partner and fellow stablemate, Santiago Rivera. The two suffered a small miscommunication which led to them being defeated by then-champions, RDK and Alicia Kitsune.
Following the match, Hitman went on a small hiatus which lasted until January 2006. His return was auspicious as he cost BK London the International Championship and ensuring a reign for his partner in crime, Santiago. His alignment would then be revealed during a tag match (RDK and AK vs. BK and Latino) when he, along with Hunter and "Senator" Steve Phillips, attacked the four participants. During his heel run, Hitman scored a pinfall over Alicia Kitsune. This whole confrontation led to the main event of Ragnarok, where BK, AK, RDK and Latino would face Hunter, Senator, Hitman and Kudo.
But what no one knows is that Hitman made a secret promise to Chairman Gingerdude that if he did not win, he would graciously take a leave for a while. Hitman did not win the match for his team but he made it to the very end where BK ended up winning the match for his team courtesy of the Londonplex Omega. Hitman stuck true to his words and left the company to focus on his life.
Hitman returned at Genocide, forming a short-lived alliance with Nina Starr. It was during this time that we learned that Hitman's sister, Kayla, was kidnapped by a sadistic man named Draco, who accepted Hitman's challenge for a Hitman's Rules Match at Fallen Heroes. After a bloody match, Hitman picked up the win following the Silver Bullet onto a sledgehammer. A couple weeks later, Hitman took another leave to recover from a knee injury.
On the August 17th edition of Meltdown, Hitman made his return to the company as Santiago's mystery opponent. Although the giant didn't win that night, his return had sent chills down the spine of those who doubted him.
During the month of September, Hitman resumed his rivalry with AK from January, citing having pinned AK twice during that month as the reason for him doing so. During this feud, Hitman would begin a four match losing streak from September 7 until September 21. He finally broke the streak by pinning AK for a third time, bringing back the Zeus' Anger for this night.
In October, Hitman finally ended his violent feud with Draco when he teamed up with Serenity to defeat Draco and his manager, Magnum Steele, in a First Blood match which saw The Cremator interfere to take out Draco.
