At least for the first time in like four years we got an awesome Rumble match, Cena winning notwithstanding. Jericho's return was one of the best in history because NOBODY saw it coming.

Yeah, there were some pretty cool spots during the match, but still. Fuck Cena. The posterboy for the rest of his life.

What were you expecting? There was literally nobody else that should have won the match. (Don't say Ziggler).

Jericho's return was one of the best in history? How many returns is the guy up to now, isn't this like his sixth? Wow, pretty thrilling.

Because NOBODY had any idea he was coming back not even so much as a rumor. That's very rare in these days. People knew about Brock Lesnar for example, people guessed at The Rock...but nobody knew Jericho was coming back and the crowd went wild...literally one of the biggest pops in history. Yes, in history.

What were you expecting? There was literally nobody else that should have won the match. (Don't say Ziggler). Also this...there was no reason for anybody else to win. Ryback was the only other option and I don't think anybody wants to see Ryback win the Royal Rumble. I'm happy this year the Royal Rumble will actually be important again. The last two years it was just used to get an opening title match. Anyways, the Rumble match was seriously awesome. I rewatched it and still think it was a top 5 Rumble of all time. There wasn't a wasted entrant and everything was booked perfectly. I also loved the final six or so guys where they just went finisher crazy. The ending was slightly anticlimactic but it was awesome and Cena actually did stuff during the match unlike some winners who sit around doing nothing and then come in. I literally think the booking was almost perfect everybody was great. Cena coming in with a house of fire and everybody gunning for him...Sheamus and Orton and everybody gave great performances and seemed so fired up. Cody and Dolph were awesome as well. The only real mis-step for me was Cesaro going out after not doing anything. Everything else was perfect in my opinion. Best Rumble since 2004 probably though 2007 and 2009 were good as well.

lol you guys seriously still watch this crap? I haven't really watched a full episode of WWE programming in a long time, but I still enjoy the Rumble match. I find it exciting, it's one of the few times I can mark out over surprises, such as Jericho and Goldust this year or even Road Dogg last year. This year though, the predictability kind of ruined it for me. Everyone knew Cena was winning, but I still hoped Bryan would win >_> lol x 2, great avatar, Mark.

Admittedly Cena is annoying and I would have loved for him to lose, he hasn't been champion in a long time...(Bryan in fact was world champion more recently than Cena was WWE champion - and I'm pretty sure nobody would want Bryan/Rock or Bryan/Punk to main event Wrestlemania as much as I love the guy) and Cena really is very underrated as a wrestler. Probably the only guy to have a great match with Umaga and even managed to get a good match out of Zack Ryder.
