Main Event Match: Jason Freeman(c) vs. Chris Phenomenal vs. Senator Steve Phillips: ACW World Heavyweight Title (Credit: Jason Freeman, Senator)
Maxwell McNally: And as we stand here tonight, we bring a close upon Alpha Championship Wrestling in the only way appropriate: with a big bang.
"Fast" Eddie Edison: Oh yeah! Steve Phillips is a crafty old fox, he manipulated his way into this match with his contract clauses, and even allowed Chris Phenomenal a shot at the belt, too.
***BELL RINGS***
It is time. The final main event. A tense silence fills the air, and it is not just from the competitors in the ring, all prepared to give their all in what is sure to be one of the most intense matches ever contested in an ACW ring. The fans remain silent as well. While there is excitement in the air, there is also sadness. As soon as the punches begin to fly, the countdown to the end is going to begin. It is a divided mindset that the majority of the crowd finds themselves in. ACW has meant to a lot to all of them, and they know that it has reached its final chapter. Although the bell has rung, nobody in the match even begins to move.
All three men look towards each other, an unmoving triangle formed. Jason Freeman stares with contempt at his two opponents, forced to defend the championship against his will. Chris Phenomenal looks with a prepared coldness towards his former mentor, Steve Phillips, and the current champion, Jason Freeman. The Senator is the most composed of all, his very stance radiating the experience that he has gained through his years of in-ring competition. The silence soon becomes almost unbearable as all wait for their opponents to make the first move.
Edison: It’s like looking at a picture…are these guys going to make a move already?
McNally: None of them are willing to make the first move, but somebody is going to have to.
Having enough of the silence, that somebody is Jason Freeman. Like a flash he charges forward, abandoning all hopes of tieups and grappling, and begins to barrage elbows towards The Senator, and Steve Phillips being no novice when it comes to elbows returns fire. Chris Phenomenal wastes no time in getting into the fray, and soon all three men are huddled together all attempting to throw elbows towards any one of their opponents. It is a hard elbow from the Senator that brings Freeman down first, and then he swings for Phenomenal, but Phenomenal sidesteps. Phenomenal nearly turns into a hard left from the Senator, but is able to duck under, and then grabs his former mentor in a tight headlock.
By now, Freeman of course is up, but he waits back, allowing this confrontation to advance before he strikes. The Senator is struggling to break the headlock, and though Phenomenal attempts to punch The Senator, Phillips has no trouble lifting Phenomenal up for a back drop! Freeman comes forward from the corner, grabbing Chris by the leg and pulling him back to the ground, before kicking The Senator in the ribs. Freeman gives a glance to Phenomenal, and then they both turn and swing an elbow at Phillips and it connects! Phillips falls backwards and rolls on his side, hoping to get to his feet, though Freeman circles on one side, and Chris Phenomenal on the other.
McNally: I never thought I’d see this but it looks like Freeman has attempted to get Phenomenal to work with him on getting Steve Phillips out of this match, at least temporarily!
Edison: Well he is the most experienced, and though Phenomenal and Freeman will never get along, they can settle their differences alone without having to worry about being attacked by a third man if they can get him down.
The Senator stands up and instantly knows that he is in a tight spot, but tight spots are where he has spent most of his career. Both Freeman and Phenomenal advance at once, and The Senator gets a nice chop to the world champ, only to get a club to the back for his efforts from Phenomenal. When Phillips turns towards CP, Freeman grabs him in a sleeper hold from behind. The Senator tries to shake him off, but CP hits him with some knife edge chops. CP bounces off the ropes for some extra momentum, and then he comes forward with a heavy clothesline but The Senator ducks!
The clothesline very nearly connects with Freeman who dodges at the last moment, but The Senator gets behind Phenomenal and pushes and CP goes into Freeman, who is knocked between the ropes onto the apron. As Phenomenal turns back, The Senator takes Chris down hoping to lock in an armbar. He does manage to get the submission in, but soon Freeman is up and springboards off the ropes coming forward with a stomp! Senator sees it coming, and moves at the last moment, and the stomp connects right onto Phenomenal’s wrist. As CP grabs what could be a hurt arm, Freeman turns into a belly to belly suplex from The Senator!
McNally: The Senator coming out of the box doing well!
Edison: Maybe he’s not so “Old” and “Broken down” after all.
Suddenly Phenomenal attacks from behind, with a clothesline, but The Senator, still putting on a clinic, ducks, and the clothesline passes right over his head. Phillips hooks the arm and suddenly CP finds himself in a backslide pin out of nowhere, perhaps this match will end early! 1…2….and Phenomenal rolls through, as Phillips stands up. Suddenly Freeman, now up, runs forward, and as Phenomenal lies on his hands and knees Freeman jumps off of his back, getting enough height to hit a stiff kick to The Senator’s head! Phillips stumbles backwards, bouncing off the ropes, and Freeman grabs him, turning and hitting a lifting complete shot onto the middle turnbuckle pad! The Senator crumples to the mat, and Freeman looks down satisfied, before turning to face Chris Phenomenal.
Edison: Ouch…that one looked painful.
McNally: That might take The Senator out of the equation temporarily!
Freeman turns around, but now Phenomenal is up and he begins hitting some jabs that stun the champion, a combination punch that Phenomenal has used often in the past. As Phenomenal spins for the discus punch, Freeman ducks under, and goes for a schoolboy rollup, but Phenomenal rolls through, getting to his feet first, and going for a knee that Freeman ducks under. Freeman swiftly moves around Phenomenal before standing up and jumping, but he is quickly grabbed out of the air and planted with a hard spinebuster that drives the wind from his lungs as Phenomenal uses a bit of strength in this match.
As Freeman rolls over and begins to stand up Phenomenal raises his hand perhaps going for the Superman Punch already! Freeman gets to his feet and turns around…ducking quickly as Phenomenal goes for the punch, and Freeman is able to grab CP’s legs and flip him upwards and over the top rope to the outside of the ring!
McNally: It’s amazing how well these guys are keeping up with each other, this action is nonstop, and it’s counter after counter!
The kick that had connected with The Senator seems to have stunned him badly, because he has yet to fully get up off the ground. He has reached his hands and knees, however, and Freeman backs up snarling. He is ready to end this early, not wanting this match to continue any longer than it has to. The crowd boos but Freeman doesn’t care as he runs forward for the shining axe kick! The Senator moves out of the way in an instant and Freeman does not even reach his knee. Before Freeman can turn he finds himself in a full nelson! The Liberalizer certainly is about to connect, but Freeman drops and rolls forward, turning and bridging and somehow managing to transition into a pin out of nowhere, The Senator pinned down! 1 . . . 2 . . . And The Senator kicks out. Both men get to their feet, The Senator a little thrown off by the fact that Freeman was able to counter him so impressively. And as the two look at each other, The Senator sees that Freeman had been prepared for a day that the two would have to face off again. They advance towards each other again, and Freeman now gets behind going for the full nelson! The Senator begins to roll through, attempting to use Freeman’s own counter against him, but as he rolls he finds himself going face first into a knee!
The Senator is stunned for long enough for Freeman to connect with the full nelson spinning faceplant! As The senator lies on the ground he realizes how stupid he had been. Freeman had purposely done the same move to initiate the same counter from The Senator, and of course had been prepared for it, and used it to his advantage. He would have to play this match smarter, because Freeman had certainly been strategizing.
Edison: Wow, that was great!
McNally: Freeman has a way of figuring out what’s going on in his opponent’s head, and he demonstrated it right there.
Chris Phenomenal suddenly appears on the apron and Freeman goes towards him only to be shoulder blocked through the ropes. Freeman bends down and turns towards the ring, and CP enters. The two face each other and begin to trade blows when suddenly Freeman is grabbed from behind by the Senator around the waist! The Senator lifts going for the filibuster, but Freeman shoots his momentum forward and kicks his legs over Chris Phenomenal, landing back on his feet, CP in between Freeman and The Senator!

Senator is forced to break his grip and Freeman jumps throwing a leg over his head attempting to hit CP. CP ducks however, and the kick hits the Senator and the Senator stumbles. CP turns and connects with a clothesline that sends Senator to the floor outside, and then Freeman jumps with a dropkick that brings CP back down to the ground.
Steve Phillips, having recovered a bit, walks over, and shoving an annoyed timekeeper aside, sits down at the announcer's table.
The Senator: Well, well, well, it is a treat to share this booth with you fine folks here tonight!
Edison: Uh, don't you have a match here to attend to?
Senator: All things in due time, there is a season for all things, after all.
Back in the ring, Jason Freeman slaps on a rear chinlock, wrenching away for all his worth, while Chris Phenomenal looks for a suitable opening. Knowing that engaging in a battle of strength would be futile, Freeman disengages before CP can power out, instead landing an elbow to the crown of the skull, and grinding a forearm into his eyes. Referee Raymond Allen Fleming admonishes Freeman for his blatant disregard for the rules, but takes no action as the champ clubs his opponent across the nose with a crossface strike, rolling him over into a camel clutch. CP, at this point has had well enough of Freeman's stalling submissions and cheap shots, shooting his feet under his torso, and leaping up. Jason Freeman goes for a ride as Phenomenal runs towards the corner, but before he can go far enough to turn into a back smash, Freeman slides back, using the momentum to roll back in to a prawn hold pin...

...Chris Phenomenal kicks out!
Senator: As you see there, Jason Freeman using a move I taught him months ago, the fabled O'Connor Roll, favorite finishing combination of former NWA and AWA champion Pat O'Connor...
Edison: Um, aren't you kinda, you know, in the match? I feel like I'm in a museum, with an old fogey to my left, and a wrestling relic on my right!
McNally: I prefer to think of myself as the voice of sanity, "you know," the one telling you to get back to focusing on the match at hand.
As CP kicks out, Freeman jumps back to the ropes, awaiting the onslaught of the challenger. Instead of taking the bait, Phenomenal shakes his head, and waves for Freeman to meet him in the middle of the ring. Neither seems much inclined to do much, daring the other to make a first step.
Senator: Unacceptable, what are they waiting for, exactly?
McNally: If I may be so frank, perhaps it is your presence in the ring.
Senator: Balderdash and nonsense! This is a title match, that should be motivation enough to walk through fire and endure the cruelties of a reckless attack! Hmph, if I need to show these young'uns how it is done, then so be it!
Edison: You tell 'em! In the ring, not next to me...I think I was going to pass out from the odor of that Grecian formula!
Phillips tosses the headset down(much to the real announcers' relief), and makes a rather pompous show of ascending the ring steps, wiping his heels off on the apron and stepping through the ropes...right into a leaping bicycle kick from the champion. Annoyed with the extended departure which Phillips took from the action, Freeman stomps repeatedly on his ribs, jumping up onto the middle rope to deliver an emphatic boot to the face, before dragging the Senator back to the middle of the ring. Instead of delivering a finishing blow, however, Freeman steps aside, gesturing for CP to take his turn. Phenomenal cracks his knuckles, looking for the way to best take advantage of the situation, and promptly spins back and cracks Freeman in the head with a vicious elbow shot! CP spins back, connecting with the right, and back again with another left reverse elbow shot, sending Freeman spiraling through the ropes to the floor.
Edison: Ouch, that was a heck of a slam dance!
Having disposed of one problem for the time being, Phenomenal then turns his attention to a recovering Senator. He runs in, going for a monstrous kick to the ribs, but pulls up at the last second, and instead motions for Phillips to stand up. As soon as the elder statesman gets up, he finds himself on the receiving end of a big chop.
McNally: That was a declaration of war, I do believe.
Indeed, Steve Phillips returns the favor with emphasis, landing his own knife edge chop, and seeing that CP barely flinched on the first one, he throws a second, harder chop that blisters the skin. Phenomenal shakes his head before throwing back, and knocking the former leader of the Senatorial Stable to the mat. His eyes wide with anger, the Senator forces himself back up, and lets loose with a veritable barrage of chops, knocking aside a haymaker attempt and continuing with his attacks, backing CP into the corner. Regrettably for Phillips, Phenomenal does not remain long in the corner, and instead grabs his opponent by the shoulders, and reverses their positions, a resounding chop echoing off the Senator's reddening chest. A second chop nearly finds its way to the target, but Phillips ducks under it, coming back up with a vicious right uppercut to the liver, stumbling his foe.
McNally: Steve Phillips did spend time working with Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao, adding to his amateur boxing base, and it's clear that he wanted to find a chance to use his training.
Phenomenal ends up, back to the ropes, and the Senator advances...right into a rope assisted Superman Punch that sends him crashing to the mat! CP goes for the pin...

...Jason Freeman, having snuck onto the apron, heaves a chair which clocks Chris Phenomenal in the head and breaks up the pin!
Edison: Oh man, that was a heck of a save, too bad it's going to come at the cost of Jason Freeman's health!
McNally: If that's what it takes, I think that's what the champion's going to risk. Freeman may be deceptive and elusive in the ring for the most part, but he's going to do what it takes to defend the title, no matter what it means.
Sure enough, CP leaps up in a rage, grabbing the chair, to the dismay of Raymond Allen Fleming, rushing the ropes. Freeman, though, has analyzed the situation well, ducking under the top rope to avoid contact with the steel, and instead hits with a shoulder to the midsection of his opponent. Before CP can recover, Jason Freeman springboards off the top rope, mule kicking his foe as he passes, knocking Phenomenal's head into the ropes, and consequently, the chair he holds hits him flush in the forehead. Freeman rolls off the landing, and runs back, putting CP in a sleeper hold, trying to break him down and pulls him back from the ropes, with a tremendous effort, Freeman swings his opponent over, landing into a neckbreaker drop, hitting the Middle of Nowhere! Having landed into the cover, Fleming begins to count the fall for the champ...

...Chris Phenomenal kicks out with force! Freeman, annoyed at the ease of the kickout, pops up...right into the path of a perfectly timed Partisan Kick! CP, having recovered rather quickly, faces his former mentor, and a devious smile crosses his face for a moment. He nods to the Senator with a long forgotten signal, and the two take their opposite stances on Jason Freeman waiting for him to get up to a knee. Oblivious to his two opponents, the champion gathers his senses, grumbling to himself about the blindside attack, only to be blasted with the mother of all blindside assaults, with both Phillips and Phenomenal colliding into his head with a stereo Partisan Kick that nearly collapses the cranium!
Edison: Daaaannnnnngrouussss! Hey Maxie, I kept it down, ok?
McNally: A bit of impromptu teamwork, but I doubt that lasts any longer.
Sure enough, after the two standing combatants survey the damage they brought about with not a little bit of mirth, the moment of old alliances and friendships fades as quickly as it began, and they square off again with bad intentions. Phenomenal sends his opponent into the ropes with a hammer throw, going for a running boot on the return, only to have the Senator duck under the attack on the return. CP stumbles off the whiff, taking a series of whipping roundhouse kicks to the side of the leg. Before his opponent can react, Phillips shoots in, lifting the damaged limb up for a single leg takedown, bull rushing Phenomenal into the ropes. CP uses the ropes to keep himself upright, but not for long, as the Senator snaps down to the mat with a dragon screw leg whip.
McNally: That doesn't look much like a man on the other side of forty-five.
Edison: Says you!
Phillips transitions into the Tax Cut high angle half crab hold, just long enough to drag his opponent away from the ropes, all the better to scissor the ankle, dropping back into a Stepover Toehold.
McNally: I am sure if Phillips were still back here, that he'd remind us that the stepover toehold is a move with a long pedigree, having been the preferred finishing manouver of the great Frank Gotch.
Edison: But since he's not, then you're more than happy to fill us in on arcane wrestling knowledge about people who died a hundred years ago?
McNally: Always proud to remind people of the history of our grand sport.
Phillips continues to crank on the hold, but his stalwart opponent is hardly in the mood to even think about tapping out. As such, the Senator again switches position, crossing his foe's legs over into a deathlock position, slapping the ribs a few times, all the better to then hook in a cross arm stranglehold, completing the Victory Lock III!
Edison: Oh man, I don't think anyone ever did escape that hold on their own!

Finally sensing a real hint of danger, CP starts to struggle, despite his limbs being trapped, he is yet able to slowly, very slowly push himself forward towards the ropes, fighting against resistance to avoid passing out, and using his elbows to move ahead.
Edison: That is quite a display of toughness, regardless, maybe he'll be the first...
The Senator does not relent, however, and continues to work the submission, tweaking the legs to further stretch out the abdominals, in turn, making breathing tougher. He then digs his elbows into the back of CP's shoulder blades, completely stopping the forward motion, and allowing a better base for the strangle hold to be perfected. Even so, Phenomenal does not give up, even with his vision fading, lactic acid filling his muscles, his legs twisted into a horrific pretzel, he still refuses to give in, clenching his neck in a show of defiance. Further encouraged by the cheers of the audience, CP struggles harder, almost freeing one of his arms, using his superior strength and sheer force of will to pull his knees further under his body.
McNally: I can't believe it, but I think Chris Phenomenal is about to be the first man to ever power out of the Victory Lock III!
And just as CP nearly gets up into a upright position...Jason Freeman reintroduces himself to his challengers with a ferocious running dropkick that wipes them both out. A chorus of boos rises up from the capacity audience as Freeman rises up to his feet, a self-satisfied smile on his face as he absorbs the feedback.
Edison: Jason Freeman ALWAYS has a plan, always! It's beautiful, he knew just what he was doing! He let Phenomenal come close to tapping, but as soon as he came close to breaking out and making history, Freeman broke him and the Senator with that perfectly timed dropkick!
Freeman does not waste much time gloating, as he runs over, dropping an elbow on Phenomenal, following it up again and again, his rapid fire elbow drops keeping his opponent down. Just as Phillips begins to push himself off the mat, Freeman turns around and knocks him back to a prone position with an elbow drop, before hooking in a front facelock, and then going into a powerbomb setup. Phillips attempts to sit out of the move, but Freeman powers him up and over onto his shoulder, setting up for the Journey's End a move more appropriate now than ever before...but the Senator is able to slide back, flawlessly hooking both arms on the way down, and taking Freeman over into his favorite backslide pinfall...

...Jason Freeman kicks out! Phenomenal does not rest long after the failed pin attempt, and turns his focus back to the Senator, lifting him up for a second backdrop, but before he can clasp his hands, Phillips turns inside, attaining his own leverage with a side waistlock, and twists backwards, driving Phenomenal's head into the mat with his own Demon Killer side backdrop suplex! Just as he stands up, though, Phillips is greeted with a running STO from Jason Freeman, but the experienced judoka is able to block the sweep, ducking back into a rear facelock, and lifts Freeman up into the air, dropping him over the shoulder and falling to the side, spiking him into the mat with the Victory Driver I.
Edison: Nasty move, and great counters!
Phillips covers for the fall...

...Jason Freeman lifts his shoulders off the mat! The Senator is surprised, but continues his attack, this time scooping Freeman off the mat, turning to the side as he goes for his Victory Driver II, the sitdown Northern Lights Driver. Freeman, at the last moment is able to block the lift, landing behind his opponent into a cobra clutch...just at the exact moment when Chris Phenomenal rushes off the ropes, connecting with a brutal flying shoulderblock that wipes out both opponents.
McNally: I do believe that is illegal now in the National Football League.
Edison: Commissioner Roger Goodell would have fined Phenomenal into the ground for that impact!
CP flexes his muscles for a moment, before lifting the Senator off the mat and snapping him back down with a Headlock Driver. Freeman soon receives similar treatment with a complete shot, and Phenomenal drags him over towards the ropes, taking a deep breath before pulling himself up onto the top turnbuckle.
Edison: This is going to be bad!
CP looks to the sky for a moment, before gathering his strength, and launching off with his version of the corkscrew moonsault, Play My Music. Jason Freeman, although mostly stunned, senses danger, and rolls back in towards the corner, and as such, Phenomenal lands onto the mat with a tremendous thud.
McNally: That can't be good on his knees.
Freeman, a bit discombobulated, but still the most aware individual in the ring, looks down at Phenomenal clutching his knee, and decides to take a big risk, following his lead by popping up onto the top rope. Instead of taking the riskier route of his foe, Freeman instead dives off with a flying knee, connecting solidly with Phenomenal's midsection on impact.
McNally: An intelligent move by Freeman, wanting to take advantage, but not take himself out of his comfort zone.
Freeman quickly makes his way over to Steve Phillips, pulling him back off the mat, before lifting him into an inverted fireman's carry. The champion slowly walks to the corner, bending deeply at the knees before heaving the Senator off onto the turnbuckle, landing harshly on the top of the pad and the steel post. Not having finished there, Jason Freeman slaps on a front facelock, and DDTs his opponent right off the turnbuckle right into the mat with a vertical drop impact.
Edison: Nasty move by Mr. Freeman! He inflicted trauma on every part of the Senator's body there!
Freeman covers for the three...

...The Senator kicks out at the last moment!
McNally: And the match continues, although I must say, it has picked up considerably in the last few minutes.
Freeman lifts his opponent off the mat in a full nelson, driving him to the mat without pause, but does not unclasp his hands, repeating the whole cycle once, and smashes Phillips face first into the mat a third time, before standing back up, and unleashing a flurry of stomps. Jason Freeman would have continued with his attack, if it were not for the reappearance of Chris Phenomenal, who, hobbled knee and all, cuts off the ring, giving Freeman no choice but to stand his ground. Phenomenal throws a big right hand, which Freeman blocks. The force still knocks him back into the corner, where Phenomenal charges in, leaping up over the prone form of Steve Phillips with a gigantic dropkick that sends Freeman slumped back down.
Finding his second adversary under foot, CP lifts the Senator back up, stunning him with an European uppercut, before throwing an arm over the shoulder, and snapping back with a move very familiar to Steve Phillips, hitting him with his own Filibuster! CP covers for the pin...

...Jason Freeman lifts CP up out of the pin, pulling him, around, and dropping an elbow on the neck with extreme emphasis for an Inverted Final Cut. The champion does not go for the cover, so instead, he pulls CP back up, this time dropping him with a swinging neckbreaker, and again picking Phenomenal up to try for a DDT, but this time, CP refuses to go with the move, lifting Freeman off the mat, almost into a military press, before dropping him over the turnbuckle support with a backbreaker!
McNally: The corners are seeing quite a bit of use in this match, we've seen some interesting uses of the in-ring environment by these three tonight.
Freeman slumps over onto the apron, giving Phenomenal time to hoist the Senator up now, throwing him into the same corner with a vicious overhead Judo throw, the seoi-nage. Dissatisfied with the results, CP picks Phillips up, whipping him into an adjacent corner, following up with a running knee lift. A few shoulder charges later, and Phenomenal takes the step of climbing outside the ropes, getting onto the top turnbuckle, pulling the Senator up to the top, until both are standing partially on the corner.
McNally: This is going to be a very, very risky situation for both individuals.
CP slowly stands up on the corner, preparing to send the Senator to the mat with the mother of all Filibusters, but Phillips, knowing what is at stake, does not relent, does not give up, does not stop throwing his elbows until his arm is free, at which point he lands one big elbow to the head. CP tries to answer with one of his own, but loses his footing for the briefest of moments, just enough for the Senator to take advantage with one big elbow of his own, knocking Phenomenal not only off balance, but right off the corner post, flying to the outside, plummeting into the guard barrier in a decidedly awkward fashion.
Edison: DAAAANNNNGRROOUSSSSSSSSSSSS! I think he hit his head, this isn't good...
A bit stunned by his handiwork, Phillips looks down at the crumpled mess once called Chris Phenomenal, making a horrible mistake, for at that moment, Jason Freeman takes his own opportunity, jumping up behind the Senator, hooking both of his arms into a full nelson.
McNally: This could be it, the move Jason Freeman calls "Ride the Dragon," a move which has defeated the Senator in the past, and very well could secure him his final win in ACW!
Freeman places one foot up onto the top turnbuckle, and slowly lifts his other one...but this time, Steve Phillips takes in a deep breath, says a very short prayer to himself, and takes matters into his own hands, pushing off the turnbuckle with every bit of effort, taking Freeman completely by surprise. The two flip back over, crashing to the mat in an uncontrolled dive, their heads connecting simultaneously with the mat in a sickening unison, the crack of the sounds notating a terrible injury.
Edison: DAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAANNNNNNGROUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

McNally: Freeman didn't expect that, he didn't think that the Senator would intentionally make that move WORSE for himself! He didn't take the Senator's utter desperation into account!
Both Phillips and Freeman rotate over from the fall into a kneeling position, neither seemingly aware of their surroundings, glassy eyed and clearly concussed as they remain kneeling, almost as two defeated samurai on the field of battle.
Jason Freeman is almost in a world of his own, completely dumbfounded by the failure of his coup de grace. He is in a
Steve Phillips, having taken the greater brunt of the fall, is obviously injured even more so, perhaps having aggravated past injuries of the kind. His brain searches through various memories, of fighting back and winning against the unbeatable Chance Emmerson, to the multiple times he lost to Wyvern. He knows, this time, that his body has failed him, the mind willing, but the body unable to comply...
But...even so, even without the ability to think straight, to see straight, to muster any strength to stand, through the pain, his instincts, learned through decades of fighting somehow flash through his head, knowing just the action to take, even as painful as it may end up being.
Phillips shutters in pain as he reaches out, more so from past memories than active thought. Out of the depths of his remembrances, Phillips recalls a move from the far distant past, hooks Freeman under the shoulder with a three quarters nelson hold.
It is not flashy, with no power behind it, a basic amateur fall, the politician almost falling forward as much out of fatigue and injury as out of intention as he rolls his opponent's shoulders to the mat...
...ONE...
...Chris Phenomenal, although dazed, realizes that the pin is taking place, and takes the best course of action he can think of, by grabbing a chair from a ringside fan. Freeman, although stunned, seems to begin to realize his situation.
...TWO...
While Freeman slowly comes to his senses in the ring, Phenomenal braces himself, preparing to launch the chair in his hand, and noticing RAF's second count, throws it as best as he can, hoping to hit someone in the ring...
...But the throw goes wild...
...And Freeman cannot escape...
...THREE.
Phillip Jones: Your winner by pinfall, NEW AND FINAL ALPHA CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, SENATOR STEVE PHILLIPS!
The Senator only slumps over from his pin, unable to stand, or even acknowledge his victory. Dr. Trace Gibson, grumbling all the while, leads the ACW medical crew to the ringside area, first attending to Chris Phenomenal on the outside, while they are beaten to the ring by Kevin Fitsharris and Anthony Kalb, who rush to the Senator's side. Phenomenal shrugs off medical aid, but obviously cannot stand fully upright, nor walk in a straight line. He still struggles to the back with only the help of the guard barrier, the cheers of the appreciative fans, and his own willpower.
McNally: Well, Mr. Edison, it has been a honor and a pleasure calling this show with you one more time. We've had quite the ride while it lasted, have we not?
Edison: And as much as I make fun of you, I wouldn't trade your experience for the world, here's wishing for the best, Maxie.
Jason Freeman, slowly recovering back to normal, stumbles out of the ring, as Raymond Allen Fleming hands his belt away. Freeman initially looks on with disgust, but as the fans begin to chant *his* name, he almost becomes choked up for a brief moment, but only a moment, feeling a bit of vindication upon finally gaining the respect of the audience, even as he takes his final curtain call.
Finally, the Capitalists along with Fitsharris's new wife, Mina(formerly of Fallout fame), help the Senator back up, Fitsharris and Kalb holding him up, and Mina holding the microphone for him.
The Senator: This...this is it. I first want...to dedicate this match...to two lovely ladies of the ring...Yoko Satoshi and Alicia Kitsune. ACW would not have been ACW without them. AK was the soul of ACW through much of our existence...Yoko was the heart of the organization through thick and thin. I am still in awe of what they have both accomplished over the years...
Phillips takes a deep breath before continuing.
Senator: To the rest of you people in the back...these seven or so years have been a struggle at times, they have seen their irritations...their disappointments...but we have gained so much. This old man wants to thank each and every fan...every competitor...everyone in the back for their contributions...this title is not just mine, but ACW's...from Latino to BK, from Ridley to Dan White, from Hunter to Thunderkiss, from Chris Phenomenal to Jason Freeman, to so many countless others whom I lack the time and breath to mention, I have been a better man for having encountered you all. For all those who shed sweat and blood alongside or against me, to you, I shall always be indebted. I can remember from day one here, that this place was not anything like your ordinary wrestling organization.
The Senator wipes a bit of sweat off his brow, still unable to stand on his own feet, the Capitalists straining to keep him upright.
Senator: We now depart from this building tonight, as the night grows late, and the fighting is over, but my final hopes as we do so are that whether our paths cross frequently or not, that we yet still remember the good times, the accomplishments, the camaraderie, the things that made ACW a success in a turbulent field. ACW is greater than just the matches we had, the struggles we fought. We were unique in our operating rules, but it was the personalities that made this place shine. There shall never again be something like ACW, and while I feel no little sorrow on that point, I also have more than a bit of pride as well.
Senator: We may go our separate ways, but we veterans of the squared circle share common memories, and a hard forged knowledge that we had something special here. That, dear friends, is nothing...but the truth.
Fade Out
And with that, the story ends – for the final time. Maybe at one point we’ll write an epilogue, but I doubt since most of us will be in our mid twenties and with actual jobs we’ll want to do that.
We made history…
We changed lives…
But now it’s time to say, Goodbye Game.
End of Show

A more elaborate word later, but I'd just like to thank BK for posting this show one more time, and for everyone who contributed to this event to give ACW the event that it deserved.
