Can't we just make it a mall full of strip clubs?

All I can say is I'm glad ACW ended this way. Believe me there were many times in the past that it could've ended in a very bad note but today I believe it ended the way we started it... with a very dysfunctional family that was intent on having fun. People have come and gone from here but for strange reason they have returned. I think tonight's final show showed just why people did that.
So, for those contributed I say Thank You. For those that have been here since the beginning I also say Thank You. I thank every single person that came to this place, good or bad, because it's essentially what made this place special.
Goodnight and I'll see you all at the Backstage Bar.

Christ, it's over.
I remember when I first came to ACW, and all I can remember was how awesome the community was. My only regret is leaving forever for a week all those times. :/ But regardless, I can honestly say I haven't been engaged in something creative for a long time. This was my venting place, my outlet, my home away from reality. And I apologize for not getting that Train/Mainer match in on time, I was moving back to my res. I feel terrible. If you still want it, I can get something up for you tomorrow.
And this was easily the greatest ending to anything. Ever. This feels like something out of Lord of the Rings, or Big Fish, it's the big finale. The fact that we could get most of the old gang back together one last time is phenomenal, no pun intended. Still, wtf @ PWA title match lolololol.
Anyway, I'll stop rambling. Catch me on Facebook, I would love nothing more than to keep in touch with you guys. Love and respect for everyone here always.
- Mark

"Letting Go" - Thunderkiss Philip Jones: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner, and NEW ACW World Heavyweight Champion - SENATOR STEVE PHILLIPS!Maxwell McNally: You win it once, you might be lucky. You win it twice, you are a true champion. But to win it three times? Well, three times makes you the stuff of legend. And that is what we are wittnessing tongiht folks, a bonafide legend in the sport of professional wrestling. "Fast" Eddie Edison: Max, it has been one hell of a ride, ol' partner. Before we ride off into the sunset, let's head backstage to our very own beloved Charlotte King to end tonight's broadcast with some words from our new, and final champion. [The ACW Arena is reborn. Like a phoenix from the ashes it comes to life as fandom's uproar echos throughout its halls. It has been quite some time since sounds such as these inhabited this once desolate place. Weeks ago it was vacant and now in the matter of one night the cobwebs have been jostled loose. If tonight is its swan song then so be it, it will go out in grand fashion as it should. However, it is relevant to inform you, the reader, that not all who now reside inside this hallowed place mark in exuberance. From afar one man watches as Steve Phillips holds his title high. The glint of its gold reflects upon his seedy little eyes and from within a rage boils over. Tonight's proceedings are at an end but they are far from over.] Charlotte King *tearful*: Max, Eddie, the memories we share will last forever and as your partner of over six years I can't help but express my sincerest - Thunderkiss: OUT OF THE WAY, CANDY CUNT!Charlotte King: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKK! [He's back and in related news, chivalry is dead. With relative ease Thunderkiss brushes aside Charlotte King and takes a position of ambush inside of the backstage curtain's shadowy veil. Sweat from his trembling fingers make holding onto the steel folding chair a chore but one he does with every ounce of resolve in his body. He has waited an eternity for this moment, a moment that continues to both mock and escape him every time he nearly seizes it. There will be no running tonight, no, tonight he will finally make things right. ] Thunderkiss: Let me be the first to crown ACW's newest king![The sounds of twisted metal against shattered bone, oh how he longs for them. But yet, something doesn't feel right. Is his stomach queasy? What is amiss? He stands in the middle of a crossroads, one that will not allow for a do-over. A moment ago he took one look at the celebration in the ring and painfully remembered every sin the new champion has committed against him. He relieved them all and his heart became as black as an ashed filled sky. Revenge was the only solution but the reality of the situation becomes crystal clear. Yes, Senator Steve Phillips has wronged both he and his family. Yes, often time without provocation. But no, this is no way to live. Ever since Omega Effect Five he has dedicated every fleeting moment to enacting vengeance. How many of life's sweet moments have passed him by? The answer alone scares him. This state of mind has corrupted him. This quest ends here, tonight.] Thunderkiss: If you want to go forward ...[The choice is made and with the clatter of steel against rock, his heart is finally released.] Thunderkiss: Sometimes you just gotta let things go.Fin.

Honestly, I'm not at all sure why the whole PWA thing was put into this show, but I do want to thank all of you guys for being so absolutely top-notch in my short time here. You guys were all fantastic people, and the views of Chris Williams in show has no bearing on what I think of you guys. It really sucks to see this place go, as little of a part of it as I was....

Chris, your thoughts about PWA are with many, and believe us we don't pin you with the responsibility! I enjoyed your time here, as did others.
Like Latino said, so happy it ended like it did. Could have died in early 2010 but it kept going and here we are. I wasn't emotional but the more I think about what we put into ACW, not just into shows but the community on the boards and into the chat, I can't say it doesn't make me upset. Yes I haven't been massively up for it for about a year but it happened to every one of us. I'm still sad, almost a third of my life.
As I've said, I'll see a lot of you on facebook and MSN. For the others, feel free to add me if you choose, links in my profile. But no harm if you, cos im not in this to boost my friends counter >_>. to those I won't talk to again, I genuinely hope you have an ace future and indeed an ace life.
Jesus wept have I ever been nice in a post like that before? You're all cunts, you're all the worst of your kind. piss off before I cry.

Seriously. The more I think about their being no more ACW the more it bugs me. Sure, I haven't exactly been active for a very long time..and I considered ACW to be more or less dead as of Janurary 2010...but there was something comforting about knowing this place was still here. That people were still fighting to keep it going, to keep it alive.
I don't know. It's been a saying that you can never really leave ACW, and it's been said of those regulars that somehow continued to enter these halls over the past few years. At this point, however, you have to think it's been left.
EDIT: I'm being way too weepy over this. I've been doing this stuff for way too long >.>; Six and a half years of that time was just here. Gotta stop thinking about it. Cos the longer I think about it the more I realise I'll need to track you all down until I get a restraining order from you all!
EDIT: That wasn't very nice!

Chris, your thoughts about PWA are with many, and believe us we don't pin you with the responsibility! I enjoyed your time here, as did others. What wasn't to enjoy about the match? There were some jabs, but it's not like I wasn't jabbed either. We're even. I want to congratulation Freeman on being the last reigning champion. I don't think he truly ever got his due here, both IC and OOC. He was passed up in consideration of some major things that he truly deserved, in favor of other people who were maybe no so deserving. He also deserved a lot of credit for hanging in there when it seemed like everyone else ditched the fed. I personally find most of his opinions, whether wrestling or otherwise, to be annoying... but that doesn't mean I dislike him (anymore.) He's probably going to stop fedding forever, but regardless, any fed would be lucky to have a guy like him.

I think it's the fact that this was the last ACW show - one to remember and 'celebrate' the good times and then there's a PWA Championship match on it. It makes absolutely no sense at all.

I think it's the fact that this was the last ACW show - one to remember and 'celebrate' the good times and then there's a PWA Championship match on it. It makes absolutely no sense at all. Two ACW alums and they didn't have a match. They've been feuding for a year, it makes perfectly fine sense. That and considering the fact that I was one of the main people who said they were going to write long matches, and then actually ended up writing them (two of them), you can't really complain. I even bounced the idea off of BK before I even did it, and he was perfectly fine with it. In fact he liked it. I think he'd know best.

I don't really want this topic to end in debate. I'd rather it end on a review of the show. I'm working on a few projects this very moment, but I'm still trying to find the time to put my thoughts into words over everything this show represents.
