sports.yahoo.com/mma/news?slug=mmajunkie-Matt_Hughes_B.J._Penn_III_UFC_123Honestly, I know this isn't as big a fight as it was five years ago, it's more like Wandy v. Chuck from three. Never the less though, it's two legends and just continues the great run of cards Dana is putting on. There's a reason wrestling and boxing are losing fans to MMA, and it's not because it's 'real' or 'not boring.' It's because every card, Dana gives you three or four fights that you say could be great ... same as WWE did in the attitude era.

Seeing how Penn has gotten whooped his last two fights, if he don't beat Hughes, Penn's confidence falls through the fucking floor

I don't know who to pull for in this one. I like Penn (when he's not endlessly making excuses for losing to GSP) but Hughes is one of my all time favorites. Penn needs this win more, but if Hughes can keep this winning streak running...

Hughes don't have a chance in hell. He only beat Penn because Penn got injured in that fight. Remember Penn beat before he gave a damn about training. I heard Penn turned down Florian for this rubber match so he's gotta be motivated to train for it I imagine.

No because Hughes, if he wins, has a legitimate claim to the next title shot imo. If Penn can stop that, he can also get a say in getting a rematch down the line
