Hello chaps, world champion Danny Mainer here (oh my God it gives me chills saying that). Now, if you've read the show you may have seen that early on in a segment I mentioned last year's Crucible match which is literally ACW's own take on the Money in the Bank ladder match. Last year at Omega Effect V it was recieved well by critics but panned somewhat for lack of investment from those involved with me and Chris Phenomenal picking up the slack for the entire feud.
Now this year I'm doing it again, I'll be penning up a storyline with alot of input from the competitors and so if you're interested PM me. Also, given that I'm not involved in this match and I have to put the majority of my time into writing for Omega Effect to make sure I put on the best main event feud we've ever had, when you PM if you want to be project manager to make sure segments come in and things progress smoothly then please note that in the message.
So, what's the reward of putting together such a hefty storyline? For one, I'll be writing The Crucible match and being an afficionado of hardcore wrestling there'll be some brutal-tastic spots and extreme violence to satisfy the taste of our hungry writers. For two, and this is why you're competing in the match, you'll be granted a world heavyweight title shot to be used at any point (though of course this is negotiated with the world champion, you can't pull an Edge unless he says.). For three, Crucible match winners of course get a dramatic push up the card and become renowned for their abilities.
What's the downside? Well The Crucible will be the opening contest of this years Omega Effect and as a result you will take a severe fatigue hit. Yes, you can be double-booked at Omega Effect if you're partaking in The Crucible but your wrestling ability in the second match will be impeded.
So, please, PM me all those who are interested. I'll be taking 4-7 total in this match and I'll only be adding a 7th if I feel that the extra man will contribute greatly to the storyline. I'll be choosing based on the impressiveness of their recent work, their character's status as a wrestler and their ability to mix with other candidates. You shall recieve a PM if you are selected.
The Crucible, for those that are interested is named after the Arthur Miller play which is a metaphor for Communist persecution during The Cold War and the "Red Fever" which swept over America as anyone who was suspected of being Communist was to be jailed and beaten as a traitor. This is done subtly by placing the play in the time period of the Salem Witch Hunt and once again, competitors will be chosen based on who can best fit the description of characters in the play.
