Following January 13's WNW, Robert "Badger" Garland has been suspended, for one week, from in-ring action due to an excessive use of force on his opponent Alex Trixer. Trixer was assisted by the medical team to clean up his unprovoked bloodshed and make sure there were no broken bones after his match-up against Garland.
In an after show interview, Garland was quoted as
"I didn't mean to go overboard in the ring, but violence is all I've been about since 2008, whether it be to my opponent or to myself.
I'm sorry he's suffered such a minor scratch and I do blame his injury on my ring rust, however this is wrestling and these things happen."
I'm sure we'll see how The ACW handles this situation, considering Robert Garland is still only signed to an "open" contract in the company.
