I was now International Champion and things were going smoothly for Latino. So what was next up for the Latin Star? The Real F'n Deal TNT. TNT and I had become good friends since we both shared a passion for design. I'd say he was better than me and honestly pushed me to make better banners. So having him around was always great. We had a good friendship and I think this is what made our feud so much fun. I think our characters just meshed pretty well. The feud started off pretty simple. TNT wanted my belt and I was up for the challenge of defending it. I think what I liked most about this feud is that we both weren't afraid to do something different. We fought in a museum for one and then went on to have a chair simply with chairs and lots of them. It's sad that TNT never reached his full glory because he would've ruled ACW. He was just too good and honestly would've taken down anyone if he had the proper time and motivation. By December, TNT and I had our Symphony of Chairs match. It was basically an excuse for us to use a lot of chairs in a match and it came out... ok. Not as good as we both wanted but it was acceptable. Next up came Ragnarok and we were in a No-DQ Match. I was set to drop the title to TNT since I felt like he was ready for it. Like I said I wasn't really planned to be champ so maybe I was treating myself as a transitional champion. Plus I had bigger plans for myself.
I was starting up my next feud with the great big man, Torak. As many of you know the No-DQ match ended with Torak coming down and causing my loss. This match was a short one and I wish we could've had it longer, but I'd say we made up for it a year later... though at the expense of BK. Sorry BK. Working with Torak was always fun and I'd say he was one of my favorite people to work with. He was always very creative and able to take any segment to the next level. He could write a segment about Torak just laughing and it would come out incredibily creepy or amazing funny. He just knows how to attain the right mood and emotion needed for a segment. So, the feud came and left by Bloody Valentine. If I remember right I think Torak was meant to go on into another feud but then ended up having computer problems. Again, if he had the right time he would've been all over this fed and made himself a huge name.
My next feud came up and it was with another good friend of mine Ginger. Yes, Ginger was active and we collaborated a lot for this feud. It was something we both wanted to do so I felt like he was really into it. I'm not sure why Ginger never really became a wrestler. I think he would've been great at it. I think our feud was pretty good. It saw the appearance of his Bodyguards and of his apprentice Craig Lewis. Yes, Latino faced off against an NPC and lost in what was billed as a high profile match. But it was worh it and needed for the storyline progression. Ginger and I had big plans for Fallen Heroes. It was going to be him and I in a one-on-one match for the age! Ok, not really that big but it was the climax of our feud and I also had big plans. This was going to be the rumble that I was going to try and win. I felt like I had a good chance and that I was finally ready for it.Sadly, it wasn't meant to be. Ginger felt like I couldn't realistic win the Rumble while also having a match. I knew he was right. I mean Latino may be Hispanic but he's not superman. I made sure not to let myself win if I was the final winner in the calcs. I wasn't. I was actually... I think in the final two which showed me that I had a good chance to really take it home.
There is one last thing I want to talk about for this PPV and it's AK/Yoko. This match caused a lot of controversy and at the time I felt completely responsible for it. I'm not going to dwell on it too much but the gist of it is that Yoko needed someone to feud with for FH. Pretty much everyone was busy and I wasn't going to let our World Champion not defend her title. It shouldn't be. So Yoko and I went down a list of people of who to face. Finally, I suggested Atomic because she was free and I knew a feud would with the two would be great. Yoko agreed and the two went on to have a good feud. Atomic would go on to win the match but sadly it got switched back to Yoko because of a big fuss. The only thing I have to say is one Atomic earned that win and should've kept it. Whether Yoko felt forced into a feud means nothing since she still made the conscious choice of going into it. Just like BK did when he faced Yoko for the World Title and lost it. So, looking back at it AK should've kept the title. She deserved it and won it fairly. Second, I felt horrible about the events that played off and nearly quit ACW. I hated that I was the start of what Ak and Yoko went through and felt that maybe my services weren't needed at ACW anymore. I stayed offline for I think a few days but obviously returned. I think this was the first time that I was really close to leaving ACW.
