www.wwe.com/videos/hulk-hogan-vs-the-giant-wcw-championship-match-halloween-havoc-1995-26060683What the hell is going on here?! After the Big Show's segment past Raw, I was interested to see how he debuted to beat Hogan in his debut match to win the WCW title. What the hell is this?! First you have the most blase "turn" (apparently) by Jimmy Hart, followed by a joint run in by Luger and Savage which the commentators are supporting yet they just seem to end up attacking each other, followed by a guy dressed up in fucking TOILET PAPER doing a double bear hug on Hogan with Big Show, followed by Show winning the belt. I mean I've heard a lot about the WWF really dropping the ball in 1995 but I've seen a couple of PPVs from the year and they were a hell of a lot more coherent than that!

This boy don't know about the Dungeon of Doom, Halloween Havoc and Lex Lugar trust issues. On a side note, it was great to see "Darkside" Hogan, which ended up being a prototype for Hollywood. I took interest to Big Show calling Hogan out like that as we all know from the sheets that Hogan wants to retire at Wrestlemania. The guy's body is broken so who could give him a workable match? Big Show could. I wonder if that is what we will end up with? I would be happy with that. If you are going to look up Hogan/Giant matches, check out Hog Wild 1996. www.dailymotion.com/video/x73l3f_hogan-vs-the-giant-hog-wild-1996_sport

Okay but you didn't explain what that match was, an utter clusterfuck of an ending. Honestly on Shockmaster level of things and seeing as we've only just got the Network and I'm waiting 'til payday to pay for it it's p much like in my top three worst ever pro wrestling situations I've ever seen. Now, I'm genuinely honestly not trying to one-up WCW but in such an apparent "annus horribilis" that 1995 was for the WWE, their PPV that same month was the following, which by all accounts doesn't look like a bad card: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Your_House_4

I see the new flavor of the month in e-journalism is to target the years 1990 and 1995 in wrestling. I lived them; they were not bad. People just need to write about stuff.

GOOSEBUMPS HEARING THAT MUSIC.
GOOSEBUMPS.
The thing that gets me laughing when they introduce the Ascension, even though I like them, they say thats "Victor and Conner."
Okay.
This is the team that compares themselves to:
Demolition: Axe, Smash & Crush Powers of Pain: Warlord and Barbarian Road Warriors: Hawk and Animal.
And here comes .... Victor and Conner.
WTF, 2015. WTF,
Also, one thing I noticed tonight, the talent is much more athletic now, but damn, these new guys can't promo in comparison to the old guys. Not even close. Suffering from a 20 person writing team? I think so.
Oh, and Sting!

I don't care for the Ascension. I'd rather Adrian Neville made his glorious ascent to World Champion.
