www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxHRJnZsinQA lot of things he got off his chest, though a lot of it sounds like Punk being his biggest mark TBH. The Ryback story with the Gorilla Press is pretty funny though. EDIT: The story about WWE FedExing his termination papers on his wedding day is fucking really shitty though. I also love his rip of Jericho at the end.

As much as I ride Punk, I did listen to this entire interview and I do not blame him at all. I swear his story for his last 2 years sounded so close to what happened to me in the 8 months leading up to Omega Effect 5.

Good for Punk for finally finding the happiness in his life. If it means never wrestling again, I'm happy for him.

There are two sides of every story, but what got me was -
CM Punk being fired on his wedding day. Sure, he didn't care but there is no doubt in anyone's mind that wasn't planned. If you have followed Vince for years, you know that is HIM. That is classic Vince McMahon. Those kind of things he does.
The multiple "I owe you ones," from Vince. Punk was smart to get out as it was blatantly apparent that Vince was done pushing Punk and wanted to use him to elevate Brock, Ryback and Undertaker. Screw me once, shame on me, and you know the rest.
Finally the health issue, but truth be told, the IS the WWE. They will work you until you are DEAD and everyone who has ever worked there knows this.
I also respected Punk for knowing his own value. Sure, people will say he is marking for himself, but if you know your own worth and you have evidence of your own worth, you fight for your own worth. Don't feel sorry for CM Punk all that much. He is fucking AJ Lee, and he has something about him the masses love and will never work a real job again the rest of his life.
