Right, so looking at BK London's autobiography, I felt that I too had done enough here to have a big enough ego to have my own board >_>, so here it is. I guess I should start with the beginning, eh?
So my ACW career began way back just 5 days before ACW's fourth PPV, Heatwave, was hitting the headlines during August 2004. But it could have occurred over a month before then.
Around July, 2004, I was a regular at the Survivor Board on Gamefaqs. It was on there that I knew three people that I knew fairly well, who happened to be taking part in the former GFWWE transitioning into GFWCW. Those three people were liljakie13 (aka Jake Cheng), TheDarkMaster (aka Edge/El Loco/Hardcore Jay/Jenero), and finally, Gingerdude. Gingerdude and I had become good friends, teaming up with each other numerous times on games on the Survivor Board.
One day, I had decided to make a wrestling-based game on Board 405. It gained a lot of popularity, and Gingerdude signed up. He spoke to me on AIM, saying that if I was interested, he had recently opened up an e-fed called GFWCW, and that if I wanted he could try and sneak me onto the moderation team. I declined because I wasn't a big fan of e-fedding back in those days. Fairly sadly I guess, a lot of my time actually went to the Survivor Board. I guess you could say that the Survivor Board was my ultimate time killer.
But wanting a new challenge, I spoke to Gingerdude a month later asking for the link to GFWCW. But by then, it had changed to ACW, and had a new URL. I even asked if I could be a board member, but he said that positions had already been taken up by some very reliable people. Even so, I believe that my long-time friendship with Gingerdude prior to ACW was the very reason why I'm still here today. Lord knows how many times over I could have been banned if it wasn't for him always voting me to stay in the fed (to my knowledge anyways!).
Anyways I had signed up, and even wanted a match that night, which was a Warfare, but Gingerdude suggested I debuted as a mystery newcomer during an 8-person Lightweight Title Number One Contender Battle Royale. A bit of a mouthful, I know.
However, there were problems almost from day 1. Well, about day 3 or 4, but we'll get back to that during the next chapter.
