Managing to get his shoulder up at the last moment, BK London holds onto his title for quite a bit longer, but it seems The Senator has found the opening that he has desired thus far in this match as well. He manages to get his feet, and attempts to pull BK London up as well – but BK London pushes The Senator back first into the ropes. The Senator rebounds off the ropes, and on the return, BK London leaps up to go for his MedEvil London – but it doesn’t hit as The Senator manages to smartly counter it into an improvised Single Arm Backbreaker, using his opponent’s high leap against him. BK London holds his back in pain upon rising up for those brief few seconds, but he’s floored once more with a huge roundhouse kick.
BK London is knocked to the ground, but he starts to make his way up after that kick, and the somewhat exhausted Senator is waiting for him right there. Once again, The Senator looks to land that Filibuster – but this time BK London manages to counter it by holding onto the top rope. With this smart counter, BK London follows up with some hefty knees to the abdomen before going behind The Senator and hitting a huge German Suplex. With the hands still clasped, BK London manages to make his way to his feet and scores with German Suplex number two while the crowd isn’t exactly behind the champion. He continues to hold on, and picks him up for the third German Suplex – and it hits with thunderous force…however BK London doesn’t let go from there.
Edison: BK's got that rear waistlock sinched in, and he's not letting go until he German suplexes Phillips through the mat, I tell you!
A fourth German Suplex is hit, then a fifth, then a sixth, then a seventh, and an eight before the hands manage to break free from around the waist of Phillips. Both men are down for the count after that exciting series of suplexes, eight german suplexes have both men down and exhausted as the 20 minute mark hits.
Edison: The old man can’t keep up much longer, can he? BK’s a machine, I tell you!
McNally: One might wonder if the champion might be the one who’s a bit exhausted, and more so, frustrated at his inability to bring this match to an early conclusion…and do note that BK London neglected to go for the pin after the final German suplex. They’re both extremely tired by now, but neither has an ounce of quit in them.
After quite some time, BK appears to be the first man up after the endless German assault, pushing himself off the mat, and drops an elbow on the back of his opponent, not allowing Phillips to make his own recovery. Looking out to the crowd, London takes in some scattered applause while the vast majority of the audience responds in a more predictable, negative fashion. The OCW Champion merely scowls at the people in return, and stomps repeatedly on their hero, and locks in a grounded side headlock. Phillips, in no shape to counter or brute force his way out, merely endures, only ensuring that the headlock doesn’t fully shut off his flow of oxygen. The pace having slowed to a crawl, and understandably so, allows for both men to rethink their strategies, and at this key moment, BK London suddenly spins around, and cinches in a standing Corporate Lock!
McNally: What a quick maneuver by London!
BK stands straight up, twisting his opponent’s ankle, using both arms to force ligaments and tendons to move in unnatural directions as he applies his trademark submission hold. Senator Phillips grunts in pain, but realizing that unlike the side headlock, the Corporate Lock can end his chances at gold in moments; Phillips exerts an extraordinary burst of energy out of his fatigued muscles, and manages to release himself from the pressure. BK attempts to immediately utilize his lingering grip on the ankle to reapply the submission, but makes an unfortunate mistake, as the Senator takes full advantage of the position, using his arms to sweep both of his opponent’s legs to the mat, and crosses them over, right into the first stage of the Victory Lock II, his quick application figure four!
Edison: Wha…eh? No! BK’s now in the submission!
McNally: Senator Phillips sure seems to be taking advantage of the Victory Lock series in this match, but what else would you expect, this is not your ordinary situation…not only is he fighting to take the World title back for ACW, but he’s also got his pride on the line, in proving that he’s still the top technician in the federation.
This time, with the roles reversed, London quickly pushes himself towards the ropes, carefully keeping his stability, knowing that, having properly done his scouting, with the unorthodox application of the Victory Lock II, that Phillips is actually strongest when turning the move over into a deathlock of sorts. Senator Phillips, on the other hand, does not let his opponent’s strength advantage to become overpowering, and every time BK pushes off the mat, he drags his own anchor foot on the mat, twisting BK’s own ankle with both arms, and pulling up on it to make it that much more painful for his opponent to make his way towards the ropes. Even so, in a matter of time, the Champ does manage to reach the safety of the bottom rope, and Raymond Allen Fleming literally pulls the competitors apart.
Edison: Whew! I thought he’d never get out of that!
BK pulls himself up the ropes, just managing to reach his way to a standing position before the Senator sweeps in, kicking his opponent back down to one knee, measures up his target, and runs forward, stepping off the bent knee, and flipping forward into a Shining Capital rolling heel kick. Phillips goes for a quick pin...

McNally nullifies the pin, realizing that BK London had a hand on the ropes as soon as it began. Phillips again reaches his feet, and this time, pulls BK up alongside, hoisting him up for a vertical suplex over the ropes, but this is not to be, as London overshoots on the momentum, landing on his feet, albeit, onto the apron. Senator Phillips goes for a knife edge chop, missing, right into a shoulder to the midsection that allows the OCW champion to pull him to the apron, connecting with a harsh knee lift to the jaw, stunning the Senator long enough to lock in a dreaded rear waistlock…
Edison: Haven’t we seen enough German suplexes for one match here?
McNally: Brace yourself, this could be nasty…
