Match 12: ACW Heavyweight Championship - Career vs. Title Match Sarin Rossi(c) vs. Fallen Souls (Credit: Dan White) So it finally comes. After a card to die for, ACW’s fourth Omega Effect prepares to come to a close in the most dramatic of encounters. A true case of two competitors that are prepared to leave the match to settle the score, and to walk out as ACW World Champion.
Philip enters the ring, microphone in hand.Philip: The following match is a Title vs. Career intergender match, for the ACW World Heavyweight Championship! And this match will have a 60-minute time limit! The crowd have cried themselves hoarse all night, but make a renewed effort to break the speed of sound barrier, hotly anticipating this bout.Philip: Our first competitor, the challenger, and Number One Contender…from Seoul, Korea, weighing at 192 lbs…Fallen Souls!”Beast of Blood” by Malice Mizer kicks in, and the crowd goes absolutely batty for FSX. They really show their support for the man, to the point where his theme music is barely audible.
He walks down the ramp, with a few fans holding up their signs made, in an attempt to egg him on even more. He has a small smile on his face, but he knows that this is the true “now or never” scenario, and the most anticlimactic ending to a career ever. He tries not to focus on that, though, thinking on the positives. I mean he’s main eventing Omega Effect!McNally: Well the main question is….can he do it?Edison: I don’t know, Max! But he’s got a huge following in preparation for this match. He climbs into the ring, and climbs to two of the four turnbuckles, gaining a huge pop both times, before jumping down and allowing the ref Donovan to check his boots for him.Philip: And his opponent, from Paris, France, weighing at 122 lbs…she is the World Heavyweight Champion, Sarin Rossi!”Take Me Out” by Franz Ferdinand hits, and Sarin gains just a big a pop as FSX did, as she walks out. Unlike X, she looks more confident as she walks down the ramp, arguably having far less to lose in this match, due to her imminent arrest by the Irish authorities. The fans are hot for Sarin, with cameras aplenty flashing around the arena as she enters the ring for what will sadly be the last time. The thought does not deter her from facing FSX with a steely look of determination--she's not going out a quitter. Our commentators, understandably, are not in the least aware of this.McNally: And there’s our champion. It’s the third time a female has gone into this main event as a champion, and one out of the previous two times, she’s walked out as champion. Can Sarin make it 2 out of 3 for the girls? Edison: Who knows, Max, it’s tough to call at this stage! Both have got great support, though! She hands her belt over to Donovan, and lets him check her boots, as he music fades out.McNally: Well, let’s get started! Bell rings The electricity in Madison Square Garden would make even the sturdiest of men get a tingle in their belly, as X and Sarin watch each other on from their corner. They move out, slowly approaching each other and locking up. The lock up is firm, and neither wants to make a mistake. X throws his arms, and the lock is broken. He then quickly grabs Sarin by the head, locking her in a side headlock. Sarin pushes him towards the turnbuckle, and uses her had to ram into his abdomen as many times as she can. X releases her, and Sarin tries to capitalise. She raises her foot so that it’s pressing against X’s neck, and him being in the corner adds to the pressure. But with his hands just millimetres away, he calmly grabs the ropes and the Donovan begins the count. Sarin waits until 3 before releasing. McNally: Steady start by both competitors. It’s both wrestler’s biggest ever matches, and they don’t want any early slip-ups. Edison: Too true. I don’t think we’re gonna see either take advantage for a while. The two lock up again, and suddenly the match becomes more ferocious, as it kicks in to both how important this match is. X whips Sarin at the ropes, attempting a Spinning Wheel Kick, but Sarin latches on to the ropes. X gets back to his feet, only to be planted with a stunning Roundhouse kick. X quickly gets back to his feet. A little dazed, but not going to let it affect him. He quickly grapples Sarin, and lifts her up in the air. Sarin writhes about, and manages to land on her feet behind X. Before X can react, Sarin dives back, outstretching her legs and dropkicking X in the back. X falls to all fours, and Sarin kips up. She hits the ropes at an angle, and slams a knee right into X’s side. X looks pretty hurt by it, but Sarin isn’t ready to make a cover yet. She’s smarter than that, and instead goes to the corner, and awaits him to get to his feet. McNally: Sarin there playing the waiting game, and she’s taken initiative in this matchEdison: yeah, X has to be really careful now. He doesn’t want to be the loser in the quickest Omega Effect match of all time. X is up, and weary of his surroundings. Sarin pounces forwards, grabbing X by the hair and trying to force him into a bulldog, but X responds by lifting her up and hitting an Atomic Drop. The coin doesn’t sink for a moment until X remembers that Sarin doesn’t really have anything “down there” (one would hope), so instead merely resorts to a stiff kick to the leg. Sarin’s leg almost gives way, and she turns around to face X, with a considerable limp. X goes in for the head, but Sarin then grabs his left arm, and flips him into a Hip Toss. X looks up at Sarin and realises that she was playing possum all along, and he isn’t particularly happy at her taunting, which garners a few cheers from the crowd. X hasn’t really got going, and really needs the match to go in his direction. He gets to his feet, and the two lock up again. X uses his extra weight to whip Sarin at the ropes, but is surprised to see her cling onto his arm. She pulls, forcing her into X, where she takes him down with a leaping clothesline. X lands on the ground with another thud, and again he looks angry at himself. McNally: Well, X really hasn’t got going, and he needs to step it up if he wants to win that title. X gets back to his feet, and Sarin looks as though she’s hardly broken into a sweat. She helps him up, and the moment he’s standing, she swiftly attempts a Roundhouse Kick. X flies to the ground, but this time evading the kick. He then quickly pounces up, and whips Sarin at the ropes with a thunderous pace, finishing it off with a brutal Tilt-a-Whirl slam. He quickly gets up, leaving Sarin on the ground, and he hits the ropes, dropping a knee to her side. She jolts as the move hits, but X isn’t quite ready to make a cover. Instead he lifts her up, and forces her into the corner. He throws a couple of punches, before lifting her into the Snake Eyes position. But Sarin writhes about again, and again lands behind Z. She elbows him in the back and he stumbles forward, but stretches out his arms and stops himself flying into the turnbuckle. He quickly turns around, as Sarin attempts another spinning kick. X ducks it, and grabs Sarin by the arm. He flies her at the ropes, but doesn’t expect a hurricanrana, and within seconds he’s seeing stars. But he quickly gets up, being planted by an arm drag. The momentum brings him back to his feet, but in a vulnerable stance.

Sarin kicks him in the midsection and promptly hits a Snapmere. She goes for the cover, but X kicks out. She lifts X up, and feels like the match is going her way. She attempts to lift him up, but it fails. Instead, X shoves her away. She takes a couple of steps backwards, now putting her in a vulnerable position. X moves forwards, hitting her with a Bionic Elbow that sends her into a 180 degree spin. With her back turned, she’s totally vulnerable to X, who locks in a sleeper hold and quickly slams Sarin to the ground. He makes a cover, but Sarin kicks out at two. The two get to their feet, and now X feels like the ball’s in his court. He whips Sarin at the ropes and double over, but receives a kick to the face. Sarin bounces back off the ropes, but X catches her, hooking his arm around her neck. He hits a high-arch STO, with the pressure of the move filling right up in Sarin’s now weakened head. Rainbow STO! X rolls her over and makes the first cover:
ONE……… ……………. TWO………. …………… Kickout by Sarin
McNally: First real chance there and it went the way of the X! Edison: He’s really impressed as of late, and has come back into this match with a flurry!
X springs to his feet, not letting that failed chance get to him. He lifts a now slightly groggy Sarin up to her feet, and lifts her onto his shoulders, looking to go for a Oklahoma Slam. Sarin though again somehow manages to escape, sliding under X’s legs. She quickly gets to her feet, catapulting off the ropes near her, and gives X just enough time to turn around before he’s planted in the face with a Flying Headscissors Takedown. X again sees stars as he goes flying, and Sarin doesn’t waste this opportunity. She’s quick to her feet, and as X gets to his feet, she rushes forwards and plants X with a dropkick. X flies backwards, using the ropes as leverage, but Sarin isn’t quite finished, and rushes towards him. X grabs the ropes and drops to the ground, and Sarin goes flying out the ring, awkwardly cracking her face against the outside mats. X takes time to catch his breath, before rolling out the ring and meeting Sarin.
McNally: Looks like the fight’s been taken to the outside! Edison: Let’s hope they don’t get too close to us! I’d rather not get in the thick of nuclear warfare.
Sarin and X are on the side of the ring where the ring ramp is, albeit the ramp is a long way away. Sarin grabs X by the head, and attempts to whack it against the barricade. X blacks her off, and elbows her in the face. She spins away, and X is quick to capitalise, pushing her forwards towards the turnbuckle post. Sarin holds her arm out at the last minute, avoiding colliding with the turnbuckle, but X quickly grabs her head and relentlessly smacks it against the post. Sarin falls to the ground, and X enters and exits the ring to restart the count. He picks Sarin back up, and takes her arm. He attempts to whip her into the steel steps, but Sarin leaps up and uses the steps as a stepping stone, then leaping up onto the barricade. She balances her way along until she’s closer to X, and as X approaches, she leaps off, taking X down with a flipping arm drag. The arm drag’s momentum sends X back to his feet, and flying shoulder-first into the turnbuckle. The collision is pretty nasty, and X falls to the floor, nursing his shoulder as Sarin poses again, earning a great reaction from the crowd.
McNally: Wow, what a move by Sarin! And X is hurt! Edison: Man, I wouldn’t want to be X right now. That move hurt him bad.
Sarin lifts X up, taking him by the head and dragging him round towards the commentator’s area. Sarin reaches there, and throws X’s head against the commentator’s table. X is now in a standing position, but clearly very groggy, and this allows Sarin to grab his arm and whip him forwards into the turnbuckle again, where again he hurts that shoulder of his. He takes a couple of steps back after hitting it, as Sarin rolls in and out the ring, renewing the count. Sarin grabs X by the head, and with force, throws him forward, planting a drop toe hold to ensure X flies to the ground. His head thuds off the steel steps, and there’s a nasty groan from the crowd, as a splatter of blood flied out of X’s mouth. Sarin smirks again, as she picks X up and rolls him into the ring. She calmly makes a cover:
ONE…….. ……………. TWO…….. …………. Kickout by FSX
McNally: Another close fall there Edison: Indeed, but look at X’s face! He’s bleeding from everywhere!
FSX indeed has been busted open, from more than one orifice it seems, and more orifices made in the process. His lip is busted open, a trickle of blood flows down his nose, and he has a nasty gash above the left eyebrow. But if he wins the match now, these battlescars will be a prefect reminder of what he sought through to win this match. But at the moment it appears bleak for X. His career is on the line here, and it’s looking like an early retirement, with Sarin taking the advantage so far.
X slowly gets to his feet, whilst Sarin waits in the corner. He stumbles forwards, and Sarin kicks him in the gut. She hits a Snapmere, and runs off the ropes, finishing the move off with an Enziguri. X lies flat on the mat, but Sarin isn’t quite done yet. She hits the ropes, and hits a move uncharacteristic of her: a Rolling Thunder. She makes the first roll, and then the somersault, but X manages to move out the way. He’s quick to his feet, and Sarin picks herself up off the floor just in time to receive the Silence Scissors Kick to the face. She falls to the floor, with the move taking a lot out of her. X looks to make the cover, but he chooses not to. Instead, her lifts Sarin up and onto his shoulders. There’s a pop here, but Sarin quickly manoeuvres her way out of the intended Soul Transfer. X turns around and Sarin swings her foot, and X has to react at the last moment to limbo-like his way under the intended Rin Spin. Both competitors then stand facing each other in a defensive stance, and the crowd suddenly erupts, splitting into “SAR-IN!” and “F-S-X!” chants.
McNally: Wow, that was a brilliant turn of events! Both hit crucial moves during all that, and it nearly ended up with a finisher being hit! Edison: That was fantastic! We nearly saw the Soul Transfer, but Sarin reversed it and almost hit the Rin Spin! I think this shows that both competitors are truly evenly matches so far!

The two glare at each other, knowing full well that for either of them, that could have been the end. They lock up, and FSX uses his extra strength to turn Sarin around. He keeps her held, and tries to hit a Back Drop. Sarin lands on her feet, and dropkicks X in the side of the head. He falls sideways into the turnbuckle, with blood flying across the ring as he does so. Sarin grabs him by the feet, pulling back and forcing him out the turnbuckle. She then grabs his foot, and uses her foot to wrap around X’s. Curiously, she then turns him around so he’s on his belly, and using her foot as a vice on his, comes forwards and locks FSX in an STF. It’s very unusual for Sarin to be using such a move, but somewhat desperate times call for somewhat desperate measures. Unfortunately she doesn’t realise how close to the ropes X is, and despite his cries echoing around Madison Square Garden for a moment, X can calmly grab the ropes to his side, and Sarin releases the hold immediately.
McNally: Well that was somewhat unusual. Neither of these fighters normally use submission holds, so that was really something special to see.
Both climb to their feet, and it increasingly looks like Sarin is going to have the upper hand. She’s waited a long time, endured many different spells in the fed, and been forced to deal with emotional, as well as physical hardships during her time here. Beating Aiden at Spring Into Hell was one of the toughest challenges she’s ever had to do, and she’s certainly not prepared to let go of the belt so shortly after being able to earn it in the first place.
She kicks X in the gut, and hooks his head. Before she can hit a DDT, FSX charges forwards and she releases her hold as she hits the ropes. X then whips her into the turnbuckle at the opposite side of the ring, and she bounces back out of it, straight into a clothesline. X makes a cover, but it isn’t quite good enough. He sighs, looking at Donovan as though it was 3, but the ref is having none of it. X lifts Sarin up, and tries a second Irish Whip into the corner. But Sarin holds her ground, and successfully avoids to be hit into the corner again, chopping his arm. As X cradles his arm, Sarin hits the ropes and takes him down with a flying shoulder block into that sore shoulder of his. The crowd pops for this, but then things turn differently as she gets to her feet, and makes her way over to a turnbuckle. She then removes the pad, brandishing the steel buckle underneath. To some, she earns a pop, but for others, this heelish move isn’t one that they want to see.
McNally: Well, that’s also very uncharacteristic of Sarin, but I guess desperate times call for desperate measures Edison: She certainly wants the win though! She has that demonic look in her eye.
X gets back to his feet, but that shoulder is causing him more problems than he would have wanted. Sarin lifts him up and tries to whip him into the corner, but X reverses it himself, and Sarin flies in, cracking her jaw off the buckle. X then rushes towards the turnbuckle, but Sarin moves out the way as X leaps into the air, and his head cracks off. He falls to the floor, and immediately the flow of blood from all his cuts becomes more prominent, and gushes onto the ring mat. Sarin meanwhile has trouble of her own, as that nasty collision with the buckle has caused a tooth to fly out of her mouth, and blood stems from the area of trauma. So with both now cut open, the match has truly taken a brutal turn for the worse. Sarin picks X up, and throws a punch. She throws a second, and then a third. Each punch sends more blood flying left, right and centre, and it’s affected X’s balance and depth perception, as he throws a punch which is way off.
McNally: X is in a bad shape!
Sarin throws a fourth punch, forcing him into the turnbuckle opposite the unpadded one. She climbs herself up, and begins to knock seven bells out of X. But she only gets to five, before X grabs her shirt, lifting her down and into a massive powerbomb in the middle of the ring. The ring shakes with impact, and the pop from the crowd is massive, but X is in too much of a bad shape to make anything from it, and instead he lies there, his vision becoming clogged with blood. But the energy from the crowd transfers to him, and he manages to pick himself up off the floor. He lifts Sarin up, and whips her into a padded turnbuckle. He then throws a punch, but Sarin ducks it and zips out the corner. X turns around, and receives a kick to the face, sending him back into the corner. Sarin then lifts him up so he’s sitting on the turnbuckle, and gets ready to plant a huge Frankensteiner. But X then grabs her shirt again, twisting around 180 degrees and pulling her out, hitting a massive Swinging Neckbreaker, resulting in the “Unseen Future”. The pop from the crowd is massive, as he sends Sarin crashing to the ground.
McNally: Oh my word! What a move by Fallen Souls! What a counter! Edison: That was amazing! Surely the match is over now!
But similar to last time, X is in no condition to simply get up and make a cover. Instead he finds refuge in the corner, where he takes a deep breath. Sarin lies flat out on the mat. This could have been a win for X here and now, but we’ll never know, as X remains sat in the corner. After a few moments he picks himself out the corner, but Sarin has shown movement. X lifts her up, and the two lock up again. X pushes her away, and then locks her into a Vertical Suplex. After that move, she makes a cover, but she kicks out at two. He looks annoyed, but accepts that the referees here tend to make mistakes all the time. He gets up and lifts Sarin up. He whips her at the ropes, and hits a clothesline. She falls to the floor, but quickly leaps back up, running into another clothesline. Or not, as she ducks it, and waits for FSX to turn around for….
Edison: RIN SPIN! RIN SPIN!
…Only X ducks it. And Sarin plants the referee Donovan right in the face. X thinks he’s gotten away, but doesn’t comprehend Sarin’s quick thinking, and runs into his very own Rin Spin.
McNally! It’s there! Sarin hits the Rin Spin at the second attempt!
Sarin makes the cover:
ONE……….. ……………… TWO……….. …………….. THREE!!!.... FOUR…FIVE…SIX…SEVEN…

There’s no referee, so the only voices you here counting are that of the crowd. Sarin angrily looks around, and notices the substitute referee Joey Reynolds rushing down the ramp. He enters the ring and makes the count:
ONE……
TWO……
Kickout by FSX!
McNally: He kicked out! The match continues! My lord! Edison: I really thought Sarin had it there! But X is still in this!
Sarin is clearly angry, and grabs Reynolds by the shirt. Reynolds takes an audible gulp, but retains his authority by holding up a two-count. As this occurs, an EMT team come down the ramp to deal with Donovan, who is ushered out the ring and to medical assistance. X is slowly managing to get to his feet, but the Rin Spin is still causing his mind to spin, and he falls to his knees. Sarin picks him up and knees him hard in the stomach. He doubles over, and Sarin runs off the ropes towards him, but X springs up and takes Sarin down with a Lou Thesz Press. But to avoid all clichés, he doesn’t finish it off with a Press & Knuckle, and just gets off Sarin. That kickout gave him a second wind, and he really wants to finish the match off now. He picks Sarin up and Sarin throws a punch, but it’s way off target and X dances around it like Ali, and plants a Snap Suplex on Sarin.
McNally: X is really getting his momentum going!
He quickly gets to his feet, and lifts Sarin up. He whips her into the turnbuckle, and she bounces out of it. He grabs her and attempt to hit a second whip, but she manages to reverse it, using all her power to force him into it. She follows him, but X can see smirking before lifting himself up the turnbuckle, over Sarin’s head and as she runs under him, he hits the Launch Kick, planting her into the turnbuckle. The fans are on their feet, cheering X on. Sarin staggers backwards out of the turnbuckle and X hooks her, hitting the Eastern Promises (Millennium Suplex). But he neglects to hold it into a pin cover, instead leaping back to his feet and roaring to the crowd, who go barmy with the encouragement back. He points to the ropes, which sends the fans nuts, and he leaps onto the ropes, springboarding himself up to the top rope, and then hitting the Lionsault, in other words planting Sarin with a huge Frozen Motion. X plants the move perfectly, and makes the cover, with the whole of Madison Square Garden counting alongside the referee:
ONE…. . . . TWO….. . . . THREEEENO! Sarin kicks out!
McNally: Oh dear lord she kicked out! Edison: Ohmygod! What a match we’re seeing here tonight! How on earth did Sarin do that?!
X looks up at Reynolds, but he’s resigned to accepting his decision. X looks totally shattered, and as though his “second wind” has ran out. He goes over to Sarin and begins to stomp her a couple of times, but Sarin grabs his foot from the third stomp, and twists it into a laid down Dragon Screw, and X flies down to the ground. She kips up, showing that she’s still very much in this match and still has the stamina to go the whole way. They both lock up, but FSX looks a little flustered, and is sluggish as Sarin kicks him in the side of the thigh, and follows it up with a couple of butterfly kicks. This knocks FSX a little groggy, and she responds with a backslide pin, but X kicks out before 3. The two get up, and X tries to grab Sarin by the neck. He’s successful, but Sarin surprises him by leaping up and dropkicking him in the chest. He falls into a turnbuckle, slumping down into a seated position. Sarin approaches him, but instead of performing a number of mudholes, she turns around, and applies the Stinkface to X, much to the delight of the crowd!
McNally: Oh my, now if there was ever anything so insulting…. Edison: That damn X! I would kill to be in that position!
Sarin finally gets out the corner and X struggles for air. Sarin lets out a demonic laugh, as she lifts him up and whacks his head off the turnbuckle. She attempts to do this a second time, but X reverses it, and throws Sarin into the turnbuckle. He begins to work the body, throwing a few punches into her midsection, and generally trying to tire her out. He then lifts her up onto the top turnbuckle, and climbs up with her. The crowd then suddenly begin to cheer loudly as he lifts her onto his shoulders…
McNally: Oh man, Soul Transfer off the top rope! Edison: He’s going for the Soul Harvest! DANGE-hang on, WHAT A REVERSAL BY SARIN!!
To echo what Edison implied, Sarin manages to grab FSX by the head, and swings around, carrying X with him into a brilliant-yet-sickening High Tornado DDT. They hit the ring with a thud, and the fans are cheering evermore as Sarin rolls X over and makes the cover:
ONE.…
TWO.…
Kickout by FSX!
Edison: Damnit!!

Sarin rolls onto her side, realising that that was a brilliant chance to win the match. She gets to her feet, and lifts X up. She straggles X near the ropes, but X breaks the hold and lifts Sarin over the ropes. Sarin lands on the apron, and pulls down hard, so X’s punch not only misses her, but the momentum forces him out of the ring. Sarin then drops to the outside. She’s no longer bleeding, but her jaw must still be extremely painful. Same can’t be said for X, however. Whilst the blood on his face has began to dry up, it’s still clearly extremely sticky, and the stains in the ring suggest he’s lost more than his fair share tonight. He’s at his feet, and he throws a punch at Sarin, but Sarin throws one back. He throws a second, and Sarin throws a second back. He then goes to throw a third, but double takes, instead poking Sarin in the eye with his other hand. He then shoves Sarin to the floor, to a mixed reaction from the crowd. X then looks at the protective mats, and has a thought.
McNally: Oh no, X don’t do this! This isn’t worth it!
He managed to find the seam of the protective mat, and lifts it off the floor, showing the cold, hard concrete underneath. It’s clear now that X really would rather still be on the roster by this time tomorrow, and have the ACW strap in his position too. He lifts Sarin up and turns her around, holding her in a German Suplex hold. Sarin supporters cheer her on and hope for a reversal, but it doesn’t happen. Instead, X lifts her up into the Soul Digger (Spinning Powerbomb), straight onto the concrete. The impact shudders down the spine of everyone watching, as X even realises what he’s been trying to do to try to win the belt. Regardless, he lifts up the limp Sarin, and rolls her into the ring. He follows her into the ring, making the cover:
ONE….
TWO….
Kickout by Sarin!
Edison: She kicks out again! How the hell did she do that?!
The crowd are going batty. FSX cannot quite believe how she did that, glaring at Reynolds through his crimson mask. He shakes his head in disbelief, lifting up Sarin. But she fights back, throwing a couple of shots into his ribcage, throwing him off guard. But he fights back, throwing a punch of his own.
McNally: Listen to this crowd, Eddie, they’re going absolutely crazy! Edison: Aliens could land here and nobody would notice!
With each punch, the crowd supporting their respective competitor grows louder. X fires a punch, then Sarin, then X, then Sarin, etc. Both have given it their all in this match, and somehow it doesn’t seem like ending soon. X throws another punch, which Sarin ducks. X turns around, and Sarin plants him with a Butterfly Kick. X doesn’t fall, but he’s certainly groggy, and Sarin’s fans are growing with noise. She hits a second one, and still he won’t fall. Like Rocky trying to Ivan Draco, it seems like it’s only going to be a matter of time. She hits the ropes, and tries one more Butterfly Kick – and this one knocks the life out of Fallen Souls. He flies back at the ropes, but bounces straight back to Sarin, who’s ready and waiting with a Snapping High Kick, and FSX goes flying into that unpadded buckle.
Edison: Sarin’s really going for it!
Sarin wastes no time. It appears that now is her second wind, and she’s not wasting any chances with it. She grabs X, lying down on her back and using he feet to propel X into a flip to the centre of the ring, where he lands with a thud. She gets back to her feet, as the crowd feel the energy that she has, bursting into a unified “SAR-IN!” chant. X gets up on his own accord, but he’s certainly very ditsy from the most recent events. Sarin hits off the ropes, and plants him with the Flying Guillotine, which causes the roof to nearly fly off Madison Square Garden, with Sarin paying her tribute to Yoko in that way. The blood on X’s face blurs what he actually looks like, but one can only imagine he stares the look of defeat, as Sarin slowly gets the fans to start a clap. She lifts FSX up, placing him in a Wheelbarrow position…
McNally: Oh no, the Rin Pin… Edison: RIN PIN! RIN PIN! IT’S OVER!!
She flips X into a Sunset Flip Driver, and his head practically bounces off the ring mat, and into a flat out position. He’s given it his all, and these fans suddenly come to realise that it’s come down to this. The Fire. The Passion. The Soul. It’s all about to come to a crashing end. Sarin rolls the lifeless X over, and makes the final cover X will ever hear:
ONE…
TWO…
McNally: FALLEN SOULS IS STILL IN THIS THING!!!
The kickout is brutal, and prominent. Sarin’s wide-open mouth is now a permanent fixture, as she looks at Reynolds. But she’s in no state to complain. Words can’t escape her mouth. She looks up at the sky, and mutters something either in French, Indian, or something of a foreign language to English. She gets to her feet, and rests in the turnbuckle. She watches X, as the fans continue to make the noise, and they now appear to be on his side. X is literally fighting for his career now, and you could take the World Title away from this match, and he would still be fighting like his life was on the line. The passion is clearly there, as he turns to Sarin, through his bloodied vision, and tells her to bring it on.
McNally: Wow, now that’s a picture, FSX has no intentions whatsoever of letting this match end like that! Edison: He’s my favourite now! He’s gotta win it!
Sarin rushes out and hits X with an arm drag. The rotation as we all know sends X back to his feet, and he quickly responds with an arm drag of his own. Sarin goes for another arm drag, but instead locks it into a standing armbar, quickly releasing it. X turns around, and Sarin grabs him by the hair, spinning him around and releasing. X hits the floor, but looks up, and quickly gets back to his feet. Sarin grabs his arm, and throws him into another Arm Drag. This one seems to be the defining moment when FSX goes loopy, and suddenly staggers right in Sarin’s way. She throws a couple of punches, and hits the ropes, taking X down with a Leaping Clothesline
Edison: Scratch that, Sarin’s now my favourite!

X flies to the ground, with that shoulder still niggling him. But he’s up, albeit it hurt, and with the desire for the World Championship still within his sights. But Sarin’s in the corner, and she charges towards him with a set of backflips, rounding it off with a staggering double-footed mule kick, which has the same effect as though X had been welted in the stomach by an untamed stallion. He flies back with extreme force, almost falling through the ropes as he lands. The move takes a lot out of Sarin too, and she falls to the floor, holding her stomach, looking like she has cramp. We switch to a different camera, where X has his head held out the ring, spitting out a copious amount of blood as a result of that kick.
McNally: FSX certainly isn’t in any shape. Not only is he heavily cut, but it looks like he’s got internal bleeding. Edison: If you didn’t know better, you’d think he had just been in a multi-car pile up!
X stomachs it up (no pun intended), and picks himself up off the floor. Sarin’s up also, and she’s one step ahead of X. As he gets to his feet, she throws herself at the rope.
McNally: Sarin’s going for the Springboard Cross Body! FSX is in deep trou-RIN SPIN! HOW THE HELL DID FSX DO THAT?! Edison: OH MY WORD!! WHAT A REVERSAL! X HAS FLOORED SARIN WITH HER OWN RIN SPIN!!!
The crowd have absolutely lost it now. Never in their imagination could they have foreseen such a counter like that, as X reverses the Springboard Cross Body into Sarin’s own Rin Spin. He pushes her over and makes the cover:
ONE….
TWO….
THR-KICKOUT BY SARIN!!
The crowd goes mental, as FSX’s head just lowers. He’s thrown everything but the kitchen sink so far, and is clueless to what he can do to keep her down.
McNally: For nigh on half an hour these two have been killing each other! Forget your Hell in a Cells, forget your Ladder matches, this desire for the gold has made one of the most thrilling matches of all time!
X can’t keep his head down for too long, as he knows he has to keep taking initiative. He has one more move up his sleeve, and he lifts Sarin up to her feet. She’s absolutely shattered, but that kickout will have done wonders for her confidence, as we enter the second half of the 60-minute time limit. X waits for Sarin to get to her feet, giving himself as much breathing time as possible. He wipes blood from his eyesight, needing as much focus as he can get. Sarin’s up, and the two engage in a lockup. It seems such a long time ago when these two first locked up, and once begin, they’ll battle for the win. X whips Sarin at the ropes, and takes her down with a shoulder block. But the move is foolish, as his poor shoulder forces him down to a seated position, and he’s forced to nurse his shoulder. Both are back to their feet, and lock up again. Sarin wins this time, planting another Butterfly Kick in X’s face, which he falls from, but quickly gets back up.
McNally: Talk about end-to-end stuff!
X grabs Sarin and whips her at the ropes, taking her down with a running chop block. Sarin falls, but is quick to her feet. FSX grabs her by the head, and whips her into one of the padded turnbuckles. She slams into it, and FSX runs up at her, charging with his knee. He leaps high in the air, but Sarin dives out of the way, and FSX’s knee gets caught between the middle and top buckle, with his other foot stuck on the first buckle. He quickly realises he’s stuck in a rut, and frantically tries to escape. But the panic causes him to make more mistakes, and he can’t free himself from the turnbuckle. Sarin meanwhile has other ideas. She grabs X and with the added elevation, is able to lift him onto his shoulders. There’s a huge pop as she pulls away from the turnbuckle, with X firmly on his shoulders, and she uses every last ounce of energy she has into the move.
Edison: DAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNGEEEERRRRROOOOUUUUUUSSSSS!!! McNally: SARIN HIT FALLEN SOULS WITH HIS OWN SOUL TRANSFER!! JESUS ON EVEREST!!
There is a monumental pop as Sarin plants the Soul Transfer, but then the crowd somewhat dies down, as Sarin frantically makes the cover:
ONE….. . . . TWO…… . . . KICKOUT BY FALLEN SOULS!!!
McNally: Oh my, would you believe it?!

Sarin could be on the verge of weeping, and it looks that way, as the tears form in her eyes. But don’t think for a moment it’s because she’s throwing a strop about not winning. If you’ve put the effort she has into a match like this, you’re going to think that someone up there is fucking around with you if you’re unable to win the match yet.
The crowd meanwhile are still going barmy from X’s kickout. They didn’t see that coming, not in a million years, and X uses the crowd’s cheers as motivation for himself. He’s up to his feet, and by his stance it’s as though he’s ready to drop into a coma at any moment, but he retains consciousness, and once again locks up with Sarin. He tries to whip her at the ropes, but Sarin quickly reverses it and hits a drop toe hold. X falls, but he manages to force himself back to his feet again. The crowd continue to make as much noise as they possibly can, as Sarin grabs hold of X. She knees him in the gut, and plants him with a swift DDT, but she knows that after all he’s been through, that won’t be enough to finish the match once and for all. She picks him up again, but X fights back, with a few shots to the ribs. She then grabs her arm, twisting her into an arm wrench. He approaches the turnbuckle, and climbs it, still holding Sarin’s arm.
McNally: Looks like FSX is resorted to old school!
But Sarin throws herself at the ropes, and FSX’s grapes are crushed, ensuring that pretty much all of his body is destroyed by now. Sarin tries to climb the turnbuckle, and does so, at a slow pace. She throws a couple of punches into X’s temple, and then throws a third. She then prepares to climb up onto X’s shoulders, trying to hit that elusive Frankensteiner. But X then pushes her off the turnbuckle, and she crashes down to the mat. Without a moment’s hesitation, X flies off into a stunning Defiance of Death (Corkscrew Moonsault)!
Edison: DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNGEEEEEEEEERROOOOOUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
Fallen Souls almost expects Sarin to move out the way, but she doesn’t. Instead, she lies there motionless, as FSX crashes down on her. But he pulls away after he hits it, not making the usual cover that follows. Instead, he climbs to his feet, and points up to the ground, then back down, and the fans are making themselves heard in China. X lifts Sarin off the ground, and lifts her onto his shoulders. He then walks around the arena, with a broad smile on his face.
McNally: It’s taken him all his life to get here! From an orphan in Korea, to a career in wrestling, 28 years in the making! Fallen Souls is about to become World Champion! His career was on the line, the belt he sought for was on the line, and here, FSX takes it all!
Almost on cue, FSX slams Sarin hard into the Soul Transfer. No amazing reversals required here. Sarin hits the ground with a thud, and the arena are in unison as Fallen Souls rolls Sarin over and makes the cover:
ONE……… ……… …….. ………. TWO……. ……….. ………… THREE!!!!!!
The bell rings, but it can hardly be heard, as Philip grabs the microphone. Despite knowing he’ll hardly be heard either, as he attempts to make the official announcement over the riot that’s began in the crowds.
Philip: Here is your winner…and the NEW ACW World Heavyweight Champion…Fallen Souls!!!
McNally: HE’S DONE IT!!!
Edison: OH………MY………LORD……..

The sound of that bell ringing, and the sound of fans screaming at the top of their lungs...one might imagine that the match had come to a close, and we finally were all made aware of what had happened. So who was it? Sarin reigning on, or Fallen..well...somehow surviving? As 'Art of Life' by X Japan is heard playing once more over the speakers, Fallen can only gasp softly as he realizes that tonight has become his night. This was the most surreal moment of his life, and he didn't seem truly able to comprehend it just yet as he sat their on his knees. Unbelievable....simply unbelievable. Completely ignoring the referee as he attempted to raise our new champion's hand, Fallen would slowly make his way back to his feet after a few moments. Staring around him to the fans on their feet, it was only a short matter of time before a smile appeared on his face. Anything really could happen after all...
As the title was handed to him, Fallen would once more stare to it in disbelief. Was it really his after all of this time? His entire life battling for respect, and years of tireless effort to receive such an opportunity? Maybe it was all a dream after all... As Fallen remained lost in the moment for the time being he didn't pay a second of mind as Sarin returned to her feet, and was well aware of what had occurred as well. Perhaps she could be angry at herself, or become quite upset at Fallen for defeating her, but that simply wasn't the kind of person that she was. All she did was turn to the new champion, and extend a hand of good faith. Hesitating for the briefest of moments, Fallen would reach forth and shake the hand of the now former champion, watching as she was quick to make her way out of the ring afterward. She knew this wasn't her moment anymore, and she would allow Fallen his time to bask in the afterglow of what could be dubbed a miracle.
Closing his eyes as he would allow it all to now soak in, Fallen would hold onto his new title quite tightly and begin to allow the emotion to flood out of him. Finally his lifelong dreams and ambitions had come to fruition and it was wonderful. Looking to all of those that showered him now with their support, and truly appreciated the display he put forth to claim such a title...he would raise it up for their benefit. He was their champion now, and he had no intent of forgetting that. His purpose had been a success, and everything now had the ability to change...The final odd had been overcome, and he had claimed true success! But as he now celebrated, and enjoyed the moment that he had always wanted, there was still another truth. Through this happiness new contenders were awakening to this situation, and no one would see themselves as unworthy now. Everyone and anyone was a contender, and they all had the right to speak their claim...Trouble is brewing on the horizon. What awaits our new champion?
....New champion...Amazing.
OOC: Post-Match Credit is FSX....still stunned.

Closing Segment: Chosen (Credit: Sarin)
By leaving the ring at top speed, Sarin was able to avoid the slew of paparazzi and rabid fans clamoring to get a pose, a nod, an autograph. She meets Yoko and Yuki in the established rendezvous point. Yuki has the car up and running. Ever since she acquired car-driving knowledge she insisted on driving everywhere. Yoko tried to point out that her Japanese license meant nothing in New York, but Yuki countered that they were already assisting a fugitive leave the country--a license infraction is the least of their worries.
Yuki: All set?
Sarin: I think so. It's strange...I thought I would be sad leaving the federation...but it's more a sense of completion. I'm done with this stage of my life.
Yoko: On to shiny metal bars and cold wormy food!
She has been trying to convince Sarin not to turn herself in ever since she established she wanted to. Sarin smiles, shaking her head.
Sarin: Truth be told, it's such a hassle picking out a new outfit every morning. Between the Dior and the orange jumpsuit, I'm going with the jumpsuit.
Yuki hugs Sarin and breaks into sobs.
Sarin: Yuki...shh...I'll be fine...
Yuki: But I won't be! Who's going to stop Yoko from acting like a complete spaz all the time?!
Yoko: I'm right here, you know!
Sarin: Wait right here, you two. I need to do something really quick.
The Satoshi siblings nod. Sarin walks over a few feet away to a sparkling white fountain. She briefly wonders what it would be like to throw it all away, dive into the fountain and force herself to stay under.
The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. Be brave.
Sarin: Time to face the music...
With one final look at the arena, she turns and walks straight to the car without looking back.
Yoko: You know, I was thinking...when we bust you out of prison, we should move to California.
Sarin casts her a quizzical look as they buckle in.
Sarin: Why's that?
Yoko smirks as Yuki kicks the engine to life.
Yoko: Oh, I can think of a few reasons...
Sarin Rossi, Yoko Satoshi, and Yuki Satoshi beat the crowds and leave the madcap world of professional wrestling. Sarin wipes a tear from her eye.
Goodbye, ACW.
--------------------------------- And so ends the Road to Omega Effect; but for both Sarin and FSX, new roads are calling.
There will be but a short period of respite, and then it all kicks off again; the new champions will have little time to bask before they learn the hard way that the toughest thing about owning gold comes once you’ve got your hands on the prize…
And gold of a different type also beckons; gold which will extract a heavy price in blood, sweat and tears. But mostly blood – the crown calls to a new King of the Deathmatch…
The biggest shocks of 2008 are yet to come. Make sure you’re there to witness them first hand.
Fade to Black.
End of Show.
