Y'know it's crazy to think that in the 2 pay-per-views before SITH, I faced both competitors in the main event of OE.

Disclaimer: These picks are of course my opinion. My opinion is neither right or wrong its just what I think. So if you don’t make the list, please do not feel that I don’t like you, what you wrote or that your promos were not as good as the one’s I have listed. I really don’t want people to get discoura ged over things like these. Please, please realize that with the amount of talented writers that we have it’s a super tough job picking out just five promos. NEWS AND NOTES! Alright, still no questions so I guess this top section is now known as news and notes! Considering I have neither, let’s just skip ahead, shall we? THE TOP FIVE! - “What a Guy Wants” by Sarin. Ah, there is nothing like the ushering in of a new ACW era and the smell of a brand new champion, and before anyone asks, no I did not smell Sarin >_< ! Anyway, as I read this, I couldn’t help but picture one of those old fashion U.S.O. tours which placed a smile on my face. There is something so magic about that WWII era that just captivates me, I don’t know why. Also, how could a segment that promotes bouncing female parts not make my list? It’s a given! Strap yourself in, I strongly believe Sarin is going to take us all for a ride during her term as champion!
- “Welcome to Paradise!” by FSX! X in a war zone. ‘Nuff said! Okay, really not enough said but seriously, you can only imagine how this turns out if you have not read it yet. X forgetting he was in Iraq was a priceless moment, as well as the Super Mario reference. The wit displayed was top notch all the way through, especially the Iron Jaw cameo as G.I. Jaw. Also, if you are a frequent reader of the top five then you know that you can’t make the list twice. For this very reason I cannot put any more of X’s efforts on, but you have to catch the Tom Cruise appearance in his last segment. Full of win? I think so!
- “The Celebration” by A.C. Evans. I’ve been eyeing Evans work for a while and I really think he nailed his character in this promo. In a town of sinners, he may be the king but his hypocrisy to point out other’s faults is what makes the character interesting. He has a nice shade of “darkness” surrounding him which we don’t have enough of here in ACW. Out of all the “Iraq” themed promos, I think Evans had one of the better ones. Though I shouldn’t do this because it was another promo all together, I really liked his interaction with Train. I couldn’t imagine a better conflict for the Entertainment Title at Omega Effect.
- “The Return Of Hatred and Anger... the return of none other then...” by Danny Mainer & James Murphy. I hate Ross Lambert. Now before you get yourself worked up Danny, this hate is definitely a good kind of hate. It’s that special kind that one gets when they are trying to get it, which is definitely your intent. Murphy is awesome and this match is SO going to put him over. In fact, I couldn’t help but give a small fist pump as I read him taking it to Lambert. Keep it up, fellas.
- “Winter - Part 1” by Nicky D. Je m’appelle Nicky D. I so approve! Besides the recent name change, like Durden I am a sucker for back stories and Nick has a tale from Junior High that is worth your attention. We have a love interest, fake friends and a loner Durden right off the bat, all the key ingredients needed to keep this interesting. I’d also like to step outside the boundaries of this list and talk about Durden as a writer. Earlier this week someone made an off comment about Durden (we all know who) and all I have to say to that person is that you wish you were Mike. Shoving that stupid “he uses lyrics” stuff aside, Durden DOES tell stories that obviously take him time to develop and write. It isn’t your typical cookie cutter stuff and that’s what catches my attention these days.
Honorable Mentions: BK has started quite the mystery started with “The Note.” June 5th appears to be a very important date and I can’t wait to see who steps out from behind the curtain. Hughes you asked for feedback so here it is. You put out some very well rounded material and actually made Freeman interesting. J/K!! Hughes eats, breathes and sleeps wrestling and you make that loud and clear in your promos. Very true to the character. I would try to make Hughes a bit more energetic though. I know he is the “wrestling machine” but to be honest I am digging Buddy Siano more at the moment. Now that guy is a winner. RED! It is good to see you back, buddy. If you type up more efforts like “Bittersweet Return,” you’ll be back to your E.T. title winning ways in no time. Moment of the Show: Taken from Top Draw Vs. Flamingo & Mainer The two in a willingness to start the match breaks the early unison again and they start to argue. BK: I’ve beaten him once!Jake: So have I!BK: At least I didn’t cheat!Jake: Yeah but mine was on pay-per-view!BK: I was in a Russian Chain match! Does that NOT count for something?Jake: Yeah! Against you because you’ll be warn-out and beaten up from it!Suddenly, there’s finally intervention from the balls to the wall, no nonsense referee and he barks out finally shutting the arguing team up. RAF: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST CHOOSE BEFORE I LOSE MY MIIIIIIIND!Jake: Umm… you go first.BK: Sure. Why not?Top Draw FTW! Anyway, sorry about this list being very late this week and do know I have already started reading today’s Warfare! Outstanding efforts abound, peoples! Kenny.

I so approve! Besides the recent name change, Eh, I might not use it for long, I realize it makes me sound like a certain fast food megapower.
