Main Event: Adrian Flamingo vs. The Senator (Credit: BK London)
Phillip: This main event is scheduled for one fall...
"In Heaven" by the Pixies sound out through the PA system and the arena begins booing the wrestler making his way through the curtain.
Phillip: Making his way to the ring first, weighing in at 199lbs, residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Adrian Flamingo!
Flamingo walks out through the the curtain as the vocals continue to repeat "In Heaven everything is fine", and he isn't recieved too well by the Puerto Rican fans in attendance tonight. Inhaling the hatred, he begins to confidently strut down the ramp with a sinister smile on his face. He slides into the ring, holding one arm up in the air and ascends the turnbuckle. He holds his pose and the boos actually increase in magnitude, and then he drops down. He now finds himself in his corner, waiting for his opponent to come down.
Phillip: And his opponent, weighing in at 195lbs, from Washington D.C., he is the Fallen Heroes 2008 Battle Royal winner, The Senator!
"Ecstacy of Gold" by Ennio Morricone echoes over the system and the crowd cheers for the former ACW Champion as he makes his way to the stage. The Senator does a Nixon pose, prompting red, white, and blue - the colors of the Puerto Rican Flag as well as American - ticker tape shoot in the audience. He walks down to the ring and makes his way up to the steel steps, taking a look at Adrian Flamingo across the ring. The Senator enters the ring and continues to stare at his opponent before walking right past him and posing for the crowd on one side. He then poses for the other side before going over to his corner of the ring.
Both of these men fought over the fall and winter last year in ACW, and their rivalry has been rekindled tonight. The bell sounds and the match commences.
As the bell sounds for the match to start, neither man is quick to offensively start this match as they take caution in when approaching each other. They know each other so well from the battles in the past, and know that whoever gets in the first shot will take the early advantage in this match. As the approach each other, The Senator looks to pick the leg of Flamingo but Flaming catches him in a front face lock. Unwilling to let go, The Senator manages to thrust his opponent back first into the corner, hoping that will break the hold, but it doesn't. RAF finds himself making his way over to the corner and chiseling these two apart, and both men make the clean break. Without warning, Flamingo rushes forward towards Phillips only to be planted into the mat with a drop toe hold. The former World Champion makes sure to grab the head of Flamingo in a grounded side headlock, and quickly Flamingo makes his way to his feet as a first step into countering this maneuver. Flamingo looks to push The Senator into the ropes, but Senator keeps the hold locked in firmly and prevents himself from hitting the ropes by dropping down to one knee. The Senator places Flamingo back down to the mat in the grounded position, and manages to pin both shoulders down to the ground.

Flamingo manages to get his shoulder up from off the mat and quickly latches in a head scissors, releasing himself from the headlock. The Senator now maneuvers himself, so he is able to stand on his feet while his head is still placed in the vice grip of Flamingo's legs. Flipping over, he manages to land on top of the upper body of Flamingo, pinning him in the process.

But Flamingo bridges up, and looks to counter the bridge into a backslide pin but The Senator manages to free his arm and positions himself in front of his former rival. A swift kick to the abdomen is followed up with a DDT attempt, but Flamingo frees himself by wrenching the arm of The Senator. Flamingo looks to be attempting a rear hammer lock, but he switches and now attempts to German Suplex the longest reigning International Champion, but Phillips counters. The Senator blocks the suplex attempts and now counters it into a drop toe hold. He now locks for a his Victory Lock III (Cross-Arm STF) quite early in the match, surprising many fans and Flamingo a bit - but Flamingo makes his way over to the ropes before he can really lock the hold in.
The Senator is forced to release the hold thanks to RAF, and he obliges, waiting for Flamingo to rise up. Flamingo eventually finds his way to his feet, and now rather than just running into the situation he attempts to quickly think up a strategy to combat The Senator. Unluckily for him, The Senator doesn't allow this and drills him with a kick to the abdomen before whipping him into the ropes. Flamingo holds onto the ropes, to prevent rebounding, and now Phillips takes matters into his own hands and charges towards Flamingo. Flamingo side steps the Triple Crown Champion and sends him soaring over the top rope. The Senator lands on the apron and grabs the curly locks of Flamingo, but Flamingo breaks the hold with a stiff elbow to the nose of his opponent. Holding his nose in obvious pain, Flamingo capitalizes by bouncing off the ropes and he takes flight by soaring of The Senator. He now plants the former ACW Champion down on the thin padded mat with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb. The crowd responds with a resounding "Ooooooh" as they hear the back of The Senator crash against the mat, and Flamingo stumbles backwards into the apron to catch his breath. The Senator clutches his neck in pain as he begins to come to, and RAF checks on him and asks him if he wants to continue this match - and he responds with a much audible "Yes!".
