Match 5: ACW Light-Heavyweight Title - Weapons of Choice Match Santiago Rivera vs. Jake Cheng vs Scott Andrews (Credit: Santi) And we’re back to the biggest event of them all! The World Cup? Forget it! Superbowl? Pfft that’s nothing. The World Series? Once again……..nope. Wrestlemania. Ha, what do you think? FORGET ABOUT IT! We are back to Omega Effect II, the biggest event of the year. Philip Jones enters the ring with a smile on his face in his fanciest suit money could buy him as Referee Joey Reynolds slides into the ring. Philip: Ahem………..Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL and is for the A-C-W Light Heavyweight Champion! The following rules apply. This match is a Weapon of Choice match. Each opponent chooses one weapon that they can use in the match. Once this weapon is in the match, any of the competitors may use it, however no other outside weapons can be used and will be taken away by the referee. No disqualifications or count outs apply. Philip waits for the applause by the crowd before continuing. Philip: Now, he is the first challenger. From Hong Kong, China, he stands at 5’ 8” tall, and weighs in a 196 pounds…..He is a former Entertainment, Light Heavyweight, and Tag team champion. Ladies and gentlemen, Jake “The Trinity” CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENG! Also I’m proud to announce, performing Jake’s theme live, FORT MINOR! The Camera swings over to Fort Minor who is on the right side of the stage. They begin playing “Petrified” and right when the beat comes in a large explosion comes out from the front of the stage. Jake Cheng emerges from the back with a kendo stick in hand, while toting a shopping cart full of kendo sticks. He points to Mike Shinoda, and he points back. The crowd is cheering Fort Minor, but you still hear the boos for Jake. Jake goes down the ramp pulling the cart along with him. Jake puts the cart on the side of the ring and jumps up onto the apron, with on e knee on it. He stands up and climbs into the ring. He holds the kendo stick high as he walks to a turnbuckle. He climbs it and the camera backs up, getting a good shot of Jake, and the kendo stick pointing to the Omega Effect sign. Fort Minor then starts to fade down their music till it comes to a total stop. Jake then does a backflip off the second rope as Philip starts to announce his first opponent. Philip: Next, from Denver, Colorado, weighing in at 220 pounds. He stands at 6’ 0” tall, He is The SCARLET ASSASSIN, SCOOOOTT ANDREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWS! "Anasasis (Xenophontis)" hits the P.A system and suddenly fire emerges from the stage, just burning. Scott then runs out from the back holding Lucy high into the air and wearing his trademark jacket. Scott looks all around the arena, at the thousands of people in attendance tonight. The arena is packed and the camera catches Fort Minor over there making fun of Scott, saying he has no chance of beating Jake. The fire and brimstone dies down as Scott keeps walking down the stage with the red tint all over the arena. Scott slides into the ring and right as Jake is about to attack him, Scott gets up and swings the bat. Jake uses his quickness to doge it and slide out of the ring. Scott holds Lucy high into the air, getting some cheers, and hands his jacket to one of the assistants on the outside. Philip: And last. From Austin, Texas, he weighs in at 245 pounds at 6’ 5” tall. He is the current ACW Light Heavyweight Champion. Ladies and gentlemen please welcome, Santiago “The Ironman” Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiivera! No music hits and it feels like an awkward pause. About 30 seconds pass and Jake Cheng slides into the ring, trying to sneak up on Scott. Suddenly, all the lights dim to nothing. Edison (laughing): Max, hold me, I’m afraid of the dark! McNally: Ahh, get out of here! Then, without warning “Superheroes” by Edguy hits….but…..but wait. This sounds Live! Santiago rises on top of a large platform that slowly emerges from the ground as Edguy comes up as well on the left side of the stage. They go above the stage t about a 10 foot high platform, with Santiago at about 20 feet. Fort Minor looks in awe, being out down. Santiago stands high on top in a pose which makes him look like Super Man but with a Light Heavyweight Title around his waist. Santiago’s platform then slowly comes down, until it meets with Edguy. Santiago stands still in his pose while the keep playing. Suddenly he jumps off the platform as fireworks erupt in every which way, almost making Fort Minor fall off the stage in surprise. With the last firework, a shower of golden sparks falls from the ceiling. Santiago has a smile on his face now as he begins walking to the ring. Fort Minor look disgusted since they let a “nobody” band hands their asses to them on a silver platter. Santiago looks at Scott, as Scott stares back. Jake then takes advantage and swings his kendo stick over the head of Scott Andrews. Scott falls and drops the bat as Santiago keeps walking and is in no rush. The platform Edguy was on slowly lowers to the stage level. The bell rings. Jake gets slamming the kendo stick down onto Scott’s body as Santiago unhooks his belt and gives it to Philip who’s leaving the ring. Santiago slowly slides into the ring as Jake pulls Scott up. Jake swings the kendo stick across his stomach then sees Santiago. He whips Scott towards Santiago. Scott goes for a clothesline but Santiago runs forward, ducks then delivers the Iron Arm Clothesline to Jake. Scott bounces off the ropes and Santiago runs at him with a spear. Scott rolls out of the ring and Santiago stands up, as well as Jake. Jake punches Santiago and he delivers back. Jake back peddles and bounces off the ropes towards Santiago who jumps over him. Jake runs towards the ropes but Scott hops up from the ground and pulls the top rope over, sending Jake crashing to the outside mats. Santiago runs towards Scott who’s is looking at Jake and dives for a baseball slide. However, Scott predicted this and spins out of the way. Santiago slides all the way out but lands on his feet. He turns right into a drop toe hold sending himself face first into the steel steps. Scott turns around just to be met with a punch to the gut. Jake stands and kicks Scott. He slams his head down into the steel steps. He does it again. Jake then pulls Scott over to an open area of the mats, passing Santiago on the ground. Jake puts Scotts arm over his shoulder. Jake lifts him up for a suplex and Scott kicks his legs around. He falls back down then lifts Jake up and slams him to the mat. Santiago yells for Scott lift Jake up. Scott follows and lifts Jake onto his shoulders. Jake pleas for mercy but Santiago hops up onto the security barricade. He runs down the barricade and leaps into the air and hits a catastrophic Ten Gallon Boot. Jake flips off Scott’s shoulders and lands face first on the mats. McNally: Wow, we’re very early into this match and already the action is stirring up, and personally. I NEVER would have thought that tonight I’d be seeing Scott and Santiago work together. Edison: Yup, and they proved you wrong right there with that Doomsday Device set up into the ten gallon boot by Santiago. Immediately Scott realized Santiago was getting up and slid into the ring. He stealthily grabs Lucy and slides back out of the ring. Santiago looks around and doesn’t find Scott so he slides back into the ring as Jake starts to get up. He grabs Jake’s kendo stick and tells the crowd to shush down. Jake grabs the middle rope and pulls himself up to the apron. He starts to climb in between the ropes just as Santiago extends the kendo stick and fully swings overhead right onto the top of Jake’s head. Jakes fall onto the apron, but doesn’t fall off onto the ground. Santiago sees this and sprints to bounce off the ropes but wait. Scott places the bat under the bottom rope and grabs the other end, tripping Santiago on the rebound. Santiago falls hard face first onto the mat and drops the kendo stick.

Scott slides into the ring as Santiago kicks his legs on the mat and holds his face. Jake has suddenly fallen off the apron. Scott grabs Santiago by the hair and yanks him up to his feet. Scott goes behind him and wraps the bat around his throat and pulls, choking him. Santiago gags and tries to rips the bat away but he’s slowly fading. Suddenly on the other side of the ring, Jake slides in. He sprints towards Santiago and jumps into a diving dropkick to the chest. This sends both Santiago and Scott back. Scott hits the middle rope and falls through, dropping Lucy as he hits the below mats. Santiago holds his throat as Jake grabs him and whips him across the ropes. Santiago goes across the ring and bounces off the ropes right into a giant spinning wheel kick. Santiago gets up and Jake just kicks him right in the gut. Santiago is left bending over as Jake back pedals and bounces off the ropes delivering a high knee lift to the side of Santiago’s face. He goes down and Jake covers.
Ref: One…….T-
Santiago gets the shoulder up. Santiago gets up and Jake delivers some clubs to the back. Scott slides into the ring.
Scott: Hey Ching, let’s go!
McNally: Oh no…you know that’s what ticks Jake off.
Jake looks at Scott then runs forward. Scott sidesteps and throws him over the top rope. Jake holds onto the ropes and lands on the apron, but Scott doesn’t know. Santiago then sprints forward towards Scott, and once again, he side steps but Santiago was going for a spear and pushes him as he goes by. Jake leaps over Santiago at the last minute as Santiago goes flying for a missed spear through the second rope. He crashes shoulder first into the security barricade
Crowd: Oooooooooooh
Edison: Oh man oh man oh man oh man! That HAD to hurt! Santiago went for that spear and didn’t miss once, but twice!
Scott turns around to get a head right into his stomach. He is leaning forward now as Jake leaps up onto the top rope and springboards high into the air into a double stomp, right on the butt of Scott sending him face first through the ropes. Jake tucks and rolls after making contact and looks at Scott who is stuck in the ropes. His upper half is on the apron and his lower half is stuck in between the middle and top rope. Jake walks over and laughs. He pulls Scott out a little and makes it so his upper half is up in the air. Jake grabs the top rope and springboards over it into a leg drop onto the back on Scott’s head, sending him face first into the apron. Jake falls off after the leg drop but catches his landing on the ground. Scott slowly falls out onto the apron where he holds his head.
McNally: A beautifully executed vaulting leg drop by Jake Cheng right there. Fort Minor must be happy to have this man representing them tonight.
The camera swings up to Fort Minor making fun of Edguy because their guy is out on the ground because of their guy. The camera moves back to the action. Jake pulls Scott over and slams him back first into the security wall. Santiago is seen getting up holding his left shoulder. Jake delivers a few right and lefts before grabbing Scott again. Jake pulls Scott back and runs forward, throwing him into the crowd about two rows back. He lands on one big guy who yells due to his spilled beer. He is just about tear Scott apart but security pulls the man back. Scott is stuck between a chair or two while partially on the ground. Jake smirks and turns around right into a clothesline over the barrier by Santiago. Jake flips over into the front row while security is trying to get everyone out of the way. Santiago pulls Jake and throws him back over the barricade. Santiago then looks and grabs a chair. He hops the barricade and the ref tries to grab the chair but Santiago pushes him into the announcers table. Jake turns and Santiago throws it Sabu style. Jake ducks and it strikes the steel post. Jake stumbles around and slides into the ring, not knowing where he was at the moment. Santiago grabs the chair and throws it in. He then sees Jake’s cart of kendo stick and grabs one. He slides into the ring just as Jake grabs the kendo stick that’s in the ring. Santiago goes forward and swings the kendo stick into Jake’s back. He yells in pain and returns the favor, right to Santiago’s bad shoulder from the diving spear. Santiago hits him again and again and again before Jake yells.
Jake: Time out, time out, god!
Santiago: What? You can’t call time out, we’re in the middle of a match.
Jake then raises his kendo stick high and towards Santiago.
Jake: Let’s go…pay your respect.
Santiago lifts his as the two hit sticks together. They then result into a swor—kendo stick fight. The two keep reversing each others shots and it seems very even. Santiago then smiles and uses his size advantage to power out of Jake’s reversal. The stick goes flying and Jake looks at Santiago. The crowd laughs at the cliché moment. Jake then slides under Santiago’s legs and slide sunder the ropes. He grabs another kendo stick and gets back in.
Edison: I…I don’t think I’ve EVER seen a swor- eerr kendo stick fight here in ACW.
McNally: Well…there’s a time for everything Eddie.
Jake swings full force and almost gets Santiago in the face but he gets the stick up. Santiago’s cracks a little bit from the momentum of Jake’s. Jake swings towards his head again. Santiago ducks and uses his legs to sweep Jake’s legs down. He jumps over and swings down. Santiago holds his stick horizontal and blocks the shot. He holds it there till he stand and Scott is seen sliding into the ring with Lucy. Scott gets up and takes about two steps forward. He watches the two as Jake is still pushing down and Santiago is still holding it horizontal. Scott lifts Lucy up and forcefully brings it down, breaking Jake’s stick in half. Jake and Santiago both turn to Scott as he lifts it again and swings it down, breaking Santiago’s. Jake and Santiago look at each other as Scott gets in motion to swing and they both run out opposite sides of the ring. This makes the crowd laugh and Scott just shakes his head. The ref is getting up now. Santiago and Jake negotiate from other sides in the ring. They both count. 1………..2……….3. Jake slides in and Santiago fakes sliding in. Jake runs towards Scott and realizes Santiago stopped half way. Scott drives the bat into Jake’s stomach. Jake stumbles backwards and then Santiago slides into the ring. He runs forward and clubs Scott in the bat, making him drop the bat. He lifts him up and starts spinning around before slamming him down.
McNally: There we go. Santiago is using his ring smarts there, fooling Jake to get him in there and distract Scott. Wait, Santiago’s helping Jake up. What is going on here?
Santiago pulls Jake up.
Santiago: Did you learn anything from Predator?
Jake: Umm, nothing that I know of.
Santiago: Do you know how to do the crossface?
Jake: Yeah, why?
Santiago: Just do it after this.

Santiago walks over to Scott and gets him into an inverted Texas Cloverleaf. He then falls into the Gorilla Clutch, locking in Santi’s Secret. He yells at Jake and Jake walks over and locks in the Predator Cross Fade. Scott screams even more in pain. The move is being held for about 10 seconds before Santiago sees the ref about to get into the ring. Santiago lets go of the move before Scott taps and delivers a thigh right to the back of Jake’s head. This breaks the submission. The referee is now back in. Jake gets up and pushes Santiago.
Jake: What the hell man?
Santiago pushes him back. Jake then delivers a thumb to the eye of Santiago. Santiago stumbles back and Jake walks over. He kicks him in the gut the runs back and bounces off the ropes. He jumps into a corkscrew Scissors Kick. He pins.
Ref: 1………….2……….
Scott dives onto Jake and breaks it up. Scott pulls Jake up into a headlock. He then flips into a judo hip toss. Jake holds his back and gets up. Scott aligns himself right behind Jake. Jake turns around right into a Gamengiri. Jake is dazed for a moment before Flair Flopping to the mat. Scott flips him over and starts to climb the top rope. Scott gets to the top and Santiago is seen on the outside with Lucy. Scott hesitates, thinking that Santiago is going for him but then Santiago dumps Jake’s cart of kendo sticks. He starts lining them all up so they’re resting against the apron. Santiago lifts the bat and swings it, breaking a kendo stick. He starts doing this to all the others so Scott smiles and points to Jake. He then proceeds to “shoot” his foe, for a pop from the fans. Santiago continues breaking all of Jake’s kendo sticks. Jake looks at Scott and kips up. Scott doesn’t know and proceeds to jump into the Suisalt. Jake is positioned correctly and catches Scott on his shoulders. He adjusts Scott then jumps and crushes him with a Tombstone Piledriver. He is about to cover before he finally sees what Santiago is doing. Jake gets up and runs full force at Santiago. He dives in between the bottom and middle rope into a dropkick. It catches Santiago off guard and sends him flying back into the security barricade. Jake gets up and walks over to Santiago…
As Santiago and Jake rekindle the battle in the ring, Scott begins crawling over towards his jacket which is rested on the time keepers table. He reaches into the pocket and pulls out a cell phone. Scott dials a number and puts the phone to his ear.
Eddie Edison: Who is he calling during a match up? There’s a lot on the line, Scott!
Scott’s conversation cannot be heard by the cameras, but it only takes a few moments before he finishes and hangs up.
Back in the ring, Santiago hoists Jake up to prepare for the Longhorn, but a sudden mass pop can be heard as a female figure begins running down the entrance way with a light tube in hand. Upon closer inspection we can see that it is indeed, Jessie Young, Scott’s girlfriend. Santiago is completely oblivious to her arrival, and as he is about to deliver his devastating finisher, Jessie climbs in the ring and smashes the light tube over his head, causing him to come crashing down to the mat, as well as Jake. Scott smiles and gets in the ring. The two share a hug, which makes the crowd go “Awww…”, but it all turns sour when security make their way into the ring and drag her away. Scott slides out of the ring and tries to prevent this, but is held back as she is taken from the arena.
Back in the ring, Jake and Santiago are just about back on their feet, and Jake hits Santiago with some forearms to knock him down afresh. Jake steps away from Santiago. Santiago crawls a little bit and right when he starts to pull himself up, Jake Cheng runs forward and connects with the Shades of Helms.
Edison: Man, what a shining wizard! You could hear that through the whole arena.
Jake picks Santiago up off the ground and looks at two kendo sticks that are right next to each other lined up. He sets Santiago into a suplex position. Jake nods his head then stomps on the ground right before delivering a snap suplex into the kendo sticks. One cracks while the other stays in tact. Santiago yells in pain while he holds his back. Jake laughs and picks up the one in tact. Santiago is on all fours right now and Jake slams it into his back. Santiago yells while he pulls himself up. Jake hits it over Santiago’s head and it cracks. Jake curses it while Santiago semi-falls onto the apron. Jake pushes Santiago in and goes under the ring to look for any other kendo sticks. Santiago moves a little while Scott sees it’s his turn to play. He pulls himself over still a little wary from the tombstone. He turns Santiago over and falls on top of him.
Ref: One…………..Two……..Thr-
Santiago somehow gets the shoulder up! Scott gets up and looks towards Santiago. He walks over to the turnbuckles and slowly begins to climb it. Santiago slowly gets up, holding his head. Scott “shoots him” and dives off the turnbuckle and nails the Heat Seeker. The impact is huge, making the whole ring shake. He quickly covers.
Ref: One……….Two….T-
Noooooo! The champion doesn’t want to go down. Scott pounds the mat in anger. He looks and sees Jake and smiles. Santiago gets up and Scott knees him in the stomach. He puts him into the pendulum back breaker then lifts him. Jake is coming out from under the ring with a kendo stick in hand. Scott positions near the ropes and throws him, Reassuring the Kill MKIII style. Santiago fly’s over the ropes and Jake drops the kendo stick in fright. He tries to move but it’s too quick, and Santiago comes crashing down. Scott laughs at the two and slides out of the ring. Scott grabs Lucy and throws the bat into the ring. Scott walks over to Santiago and assists him into standing. He rolls him into the ring then pulls Jake up. He whips Jake back first into the steel steps, making the top half fling off. Scott slides into the ring and grabs Lucy. Santiago is crawling and grabs the steel chair that was thrown in earlier. He stands up and goes to swing at Scott, who is about to counter by swinging his bat. Santiago drops to the ground. Scott can’t stop his swing and he clocks the ref right across the head. The referee goes flying backwards and falls in between the ropes onto the ground.

McNally: Oh my god! The referee is out cold now! What a swing!
Scott goes to the ropes and looks at the referee who he just struck. He can’t believe what he just did, but there’s no time to care since Santiago swings the chair. It connects hard against Scott’s back and the noises echoes. Scott turns around into a huge, unprotected chairshot to the head. The noise resembles that of a gunshot. Scott drops to the mat. He head falls onto the first rope. Santiago holds the chair up high. Behind him, Jake is seen sliding into the ring with a kendo stick. He drops the stick and stalks Santiago from behind. Santiago turns with the chair in hand and Jake low blows him with a kick that could probably make a 50 yard field goal. Santiago’s eyes almost pop out of his head as he drops the chair. Before he can fall, Jake catches him and jumps up into the Intermission right onto the chair. Jake pins Santiago, not even knowing that the ref is knocked out. There is no count and Jake gets up. Jake turns and sees Scott standing. He runs towards Scott but he counters into a drop toe hold. Scott rolls through into the Scarlet Fever, but instead of locking in the cobra clutch, he wraps the bat around Jake’s throat, chocking him out. Jake yells out for help and is in pain. Santiago is still on the ground from the Intermission and Jake probably wishes he never did that to him. Jake screams in pain before starting to tap out.
However there’ no referee to see it. Santiago starts to move. He gets up and looks at it. He thinks about letting it continue but decides against it. Santiago kicks Scott in the back of the head, and breaks the hold up. Jake holds his throat and starts coughing. Scott turns around and hits Santiago with a huge wheel kick. Santiago goes down and Scott signals for it. He shoots himself again and climbs the top rope. Santiago played it perfectly and gets up smiling. He turns so Scott and himself are facing back to back. Scott jumps into the Suisalt once again, and realizes Santiago is up mid air. He adjusts so he lands on his feet but wait.
Upon landing, Santiago catches Scott by his throat. He laughs and lift’s him up and slams him down, sending Scott to Hell and Back. Santiago realizes there’s nobody to count the pin. Santiago steps out of the ring and pulls the ring apron up. Santiago slowly pulls out a table. Santiago sets the table up outside the ring then smacks it. He slides back into the ring and starts to walk towards Jake. Jake pops up and swings the kendo stick. It gets Santiago in the hip as he halts walking and lets out an “ahh!” Jake gets up and begins striking him, one shot after another. Santiago can’t keep up with the pain that is being inflicted on his body. Scott crawls over and grabs Lucy. Jake continues whacking the kendo stick against Santiago, but he won’t fall. Scott gets up and holds the bat horizontal. Jake stops swinging and nods to Scott. Scott runs over and right when Scott rams the bat into the side of Santiago’s head, Jake swings it against Santiago’s knee. A weird type of “con-chair-to” but it works. Santiago crumbles to the ground and rolls out of the ring, near the announcers table.
Scott swings the bat at Jake, but Jake goes under it, behind Scott. Jake swings the kendo stick, up right into Scott’s crotch. Lucy is dropped and Jake dropkicks Scott in the back, sending him chest first into the turnbuckle. Jake walks over and steps out on the apron. He climbs the turnbuckles and pulls Scott up with him. Jake yells for the end, and this truly may end it. Jake sets him up like he’s going for a tiger driver or a pedigree. He stands on the top rope with Scott and leaps off with the Mandate Of Heaven.
Edison: Oh man! That was a HUGE Mandate of Heaven! Wow!
Then, Santiago’s voice is heard over the speakers. The camera turns to see Santiago with a microphone, leaning on the announcers table.
Santiago (Breathing heavily): Wait…wait…I…I almost forgot! Ladies…….and gentlemen. Here is MY weapon...of choice!
He starts moving towards the ring apron.
McNally: Wait..that’s right, Santiago never brought in his weapon! What’s it going to be?!?
“Superstar” by Salina then hits the P.A. system and it makes Jake jump, startling him.
Santiago: Ladies and gents, here is my weapon of choice. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZ!

The newcomer to ACW Daz steps out from behind the curtain and begins walking to the ring. Jake tells him to bring it. Daz starts running towards the ring as Santiago takes a breather. Daz slides into the ring and Santiago slides in the other side. Santiago grabs Jake’s kendo stick before he can get it. This distracts Jake and Santiago rolls over, out of the way. Before he knows it, he sees a boot in his face as Daz hits a running wheel kick. Jake gets up and then is brought back down with a round house kick. Scott is slowly churning now. Jake gets back up and Santiago directs the traffic. Daz jumps up into a beautiful dropkick which makes Jake reel a step or two back. Daz quickly gets up and jumps high into the air, into a hurricarana, sending Jake halfway across the ring. Jake is starting to slow down as he gets up. Scott is getting up now as Daz calls Jake on. Jake runs forward, going for a right forearm, but Daz ducks it and sets him into a T-bone position. He sends Jake over the top rope with a Huge T-Bone suplex and Jake breaks through the table that Santiago set up a little while ago. Santiago yells for Daz as Scott runs forward. Scott swings the bat but Daz rolls out of the way. The bat hits the ropes and Scott let’s go, sending the bat flying into the air. Scott can’t even turn around before being locked into the DazMission. Scott is being choked out and fading away but Santiago walks over and tells Daz something that makes him let go. Daz goes over to a turnbuckle and starts climbing as Santiago picks Scott up. Santiago throws Scott into the turnbuckles. Santiago slides out of the ring. He yells at Daz to finish him.
Daz stands on the top rope and points to Scott. He jumps off going for a corner to corner dropkick. About 4 milliseconds before he hits Scott, Scott rolls out of the ring. He connects with the dropkick, but to Santiago. Santiago goes flying back, onto Philip Jones the ring announcer. Philip pushes him off. Daz looks at Santiago then at Scott who is catching his breath out of the ring. Daz springboards over the top rope into a crossbody, right as Scott turns around. He lands it perfectly as both of them crash into the security barricade. Daz slowly gets up and pulls Scott up as well. He throws Scott into the ring and slides in after. Scott gets up right into a toe kick by Daz. Daz lifts him up onto his shoulders then NAILS the Move of a Thousand Dazmaniacs. Scott is practically lifeless in the ring now. Daz slides out of the ring and checks on Santiago. Santiago tells him to go. Daz hops the barricade and disappears into the thousands of fans. Santiago slowly starts to get up. He walks towards the ring and climbs up onto the apron. He slowly climbs to the top of the turnbuckles and turns around.
He stands up and takes a deep breath. About 10 seconds pass before Santiago jumps up and executes the 1000th Trip to Hell. Scott and Santiago are now lifeless as it took way everything Santiago had left in him. The crowd explodes, not have seeing the move in such a long time by Santiago. About a minute passes of nothing happening but Jake Cheng slowly starting to move. But wait……up on the stage. Devils Knight has just come out. DK walks over to Edguy and starts shaking all of their hands.
Devils: I love you guys. You are so good!
Back in the ring, Jake is climbing the turnbuckles as Santiago sees Devils Knight. Santiago slowly gets up and yells what the hell DK is doing. Santiago turns around to see Jake diving off the top rope with a double ax handle. Santiago catches him by the throat and shakes his head as Jake tries to get out of the move. A new referee then slides into the ring. Santiago laughs at Jake then lifts him high into the air and turns around. When he turns, he is met by Devils Knight with his hand choking Santiago. Devils: Remember when I said, I always get even for what people do to me? Well….this is just my way of getting back at you.
He lifts Santiago up into the air but Santiago still has Jake in the chokeslam. Jake goes twice as high as he would before as Devils basically chokeslams two men. They slam onto the mat and Santiago flips over from the impact. Devils slowly leaves the ring. The new referee now realizes Santiago’s arm is over Jake’s body and he gets down.
Ref: One………….Two…………Three!
The bell rings.
Philip: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner and STILL ACW Light Heavyweight Champion, Santiago RIIIIVERA!

Edguy starts playing Superheroes in joy as their guy just beat Fort Minor. Mike Shinado looks pissed as Devils turns around, not believing Santiago just won. The two of them both look knocked out from the chokeslam. Devils runs and slides into the ring and picks Santiago up. He grabs him by the throat with both hands and yells at him. He picks him up and slams him down with the DK Bomb. Santiago is completely out of it now as Ginger’s Theme hits the P.A. and the chairman walks out onto the stage.
Ginger: Hold it, hold it. Fine, Santiago has won this match BUT, there WILL be a new champion tonight.
Edison: What? Santiago has won!
Ginger: You see, the weight limit for the Light Heavyweight Title is 240 pounds. Santiago, I and the rest of the audience here clearly heard Philip Jones announce you into this match as 245 pounds, 5 over the limit. So Santiago I am stripping you of your title. Referee, this match will restart, but with Santiago taking no further part. Ring the bell!
The bell rings as Ginger makes his way to the back. DevilsKnight leaves the ring as all three men are laid out as the match restarts without Santiago in it. Devils starts walking up the ramp when Edguy’s own Jens Ludwig walks over to DevilsKnight and smashes his electric guitar over his head. DK moves back about three steps but doesn’t fall. He then grabs Jens by the throat and chokeslams him. He walks to the back as the rest of the band runs over to check on him. In the ring, Scott is seen slowly pulling himself forward. He finally gets an arm over the unconscious Jake Cheng as the ref counts it.
Ref: One……….Two……..Three!
The bell rings.
Philip: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner by pinfall and NEW Light Heavyweight Champion….SCOTT ANDREEEWWS!
"Anasasis (Xenophontis)" hits the P.A. system as the referee gives him the Light Heavyweight Title. Scott slowly pulls himself up, looking at the title and trying to get things straight in his head; as soon as he realizes this is no setup, however, the grin that spreads across his face is radiant. He holds the belt in the air and almost falls over but catches himself on the ropes. The referee checks on Santiago and Jake, both of whom are out of it. Scott couldn’t care less about either of them, and celebrates as the crowd cheers, very pleased with the final outcome…
The scene slowly begins to fade with a celebrating Scott Andrews.

I Am Meta Knight: You don’t think she’d use me to get ahead?
Charichu006: Yoko!
Charichu006: I saw the Umeko things on TV.
Charichu006: Don’t let that bad woman get into your mind. You know Sarin loves you.
Charichu006: If she didn’t love you, she wouldn’t tolerate the stuff that’s happened. You two are like the most in love couple ever!
Charichu006: So cheer up. If she’s using you, she’ll be done with you after tonight, no matter what the result is. But she won’t be, because she isn’t!
I Am Meta Knight: Yeah, but…Well, there are other things. I’ve seen her crying and I think it’s my fault.
Charichu006: Listen, there’s more going on than you know.
I Am Meta Knight: Like what?
”Charichu006 is typing…” is the last thing Yoko sees. Her laptop chooses that precise moment to crash and die. Yoko frantically slams the on button, but nothing happens.
Yoko: No! Come back on!
Still nothing. She begins to throw it in frustration, but doesn’t. She sits back down and tries to hold back her feelings of despair.

Segment: You Don’t Need To Bother (Credit: XS3)
A number one contenders match tonight.
Doesn’t get any bigger than that.
But in all honesty, what’s even bigger is what’s at stake. For some it could be the chance of a lifetime. For others it could be destiny. It all depends on how you look at it. When we believe in something, we create an illusion. When we stop believing, we shatter the illusion and, in turn, a part of ourselves. It’s like the feeling you had when you were a kid. You thought Santa was real. Did you want him to be? Of course you did because you believed in him. You believed in the man with the long white beard and the jolly soul because he truly captivated your imagination.
So picture this. One man whose one destiny has been to become a champion. And not just ANY champion – but a world champion. The man is Matthew Keith Irvine, known to ACW fans as XS3. For a long time, he has been on a frivolous hunt to capture a world title. It came within his grasp in KWA. So close he could practically taste it. And like that, it was gone. Ripped away from his hands like a cherished item being taken away from a grounded child. So where was the best place to turn? ACW of course. The fans knew what XS3 had gone through in his life. Family issues, slight alcohol problem, the death of his wife last year… Truly one must wonder how a man can walk away from all those with his head held high.
I could go on and on about the topic itself but there is a segment that needs to take place so let us see what XS3 is up to, shall we?
The Destined Demolisher currently sits on the rooftop of the ACW arena alongside his wife, Christine. The two sigh as they watch rain pour down to the ground as if the heavens themselves were weeping with sorrow. Christine, wearing jeans, a jacket, sneakers and a scarf, nudges her head closer to XS3, who wears blue jeans, a leather jacket, a toque and boots. The mood of the couple seems to have changed drastically after the mocking of the Corporate Alliance early on in the show. Every drop that falls to the Earth is like a second of their lives passing by. Nothing to do but watch your life wash away with the dirt on the ground. In order to get some conversation going, Christine quietly speaks.
Christine: “Matt?”
XS3 slowly turns to face his wife, who looks up into his eyes with a look of sheer innocence. XS3 brushes a couple strands of hair from her face.
XS3: “Yeah?”
A small hesitation looms over the two before Christine looks up into XS3’s eyes once more, almost as if she were in a romantic trance.
Christine: “Sing me a song.”
XS3 pauses. Though the couple knows he can sing very well, it catches him off-guard for a couple seconds. After those seconds pass, XS3 slowly nods and looks out towards the rain. He brings Christine in closer and he opens his mouth.
XS3: “Wish I was too dead to cry / My self-affliction fades”
Christine instantly recognizes the song as “Bother” by Stone Sour but she does not say anything.
XS3: “Stones to throw at my creator / Masochists to which I cater”
XS3’s voice begins to increase in a small volume as he hits the chorus.
XS3: “You don't need to bother / I don't need to be / I'll keep slipping farther / But once I hold on / I won't let go 'til it bleeds”
Behind XS3 and Christine is a door that leads to the roof. The door slowly opens and we see Ben Drinkin. The door does not make a noise and neither does he once he sees the two enjoying their moment of solemnity. Ben carefully pulls the door towards him until a small space is in place. Ben looks through the space as XS3 continues singing.
XS3: “Wish I was too dead to care / If indeed I cared at all / Never had a voice to protest / So you fed me shit to digest / I wish I had a reason / My flaws are open season / For this, I gave up trying / One good turn deserves my dying”
Christine simply does nothing but cuddle herself up to XS3 more. XS3 now goes back to the chorus.
XS3: “You don't need to bother / I don't need to be / I'll keep slipping farther / But once I hold on / I won't let go 'til it bleeds”
Ben looks on, amazed at the voice of XS3. As Ben continues staring, his hand is grasped by another’s. He turns to see his girlfriend and newest Fallout star, Selina Taylor. The two look into each other’s eyes for a while then Selina smiles. Ben responds with one of his own and the two pull each other in for a hug. Just as they do, XS3 continues on with the song.
XS3: “Wish I'd died instead of lived / A zombie hides my face / Shell forgotten with its memories / Diaries left with cryptic entries”
XS3 goes back to the chorus but this time, Christine joins in with the lyrics.
XS3 and Christine: “And you don't need to bother / I don't need to be / I'll keep slipping farther / But once I hold on / I won't let go 'til it bleeds”
The last chorus comes and we see Ben and Selina still hugging. They pause to look into each other’s eyes once more and they smile still.
XS3 and Christine: “You don't need to bother / I don't need to be / I'll keep slipping farther / But once I hold on…”
Finally, Ben and Selina move forward slowly and lock lips with each other, a wave of passion and love enveloping them both. XS3 sings the last line of the song:
XS3: “I’ll never live down my deceit…”
And with that, XS3 and Christine also kiss but only for a couple of seconds. They hear the door being opened and Ben and Selina stand there with smiles on their faces.
Ben: “I’ve been looking all over for you two. X, it’s almost time for your match.”
XS3 and Christine turn to each other. Perhaps one of the biggest opportunities of XS3’s life could be waiting for him but it all depends on if he survives tonight or not. The two turn to Ben and Selina and much like them, they get a smile on their faces before standing to their feet and walking over to Ben and Selina. The four all turn to look at the falling rain one last time before shutting the door behind them.
So would you say XS3 is prepared? With a beautiful wife and his friends by his side, there is no doubt that tonight, XS3 is more than ready to make an impact.
End segment.

Match 6: 12 Signs Match Jack Conner Vs. Chance "Tiger VII" Emmerson (Credit: Rose) Philip: Ladies and Gentleman… This match is a 12 Signs Match! Earlier in the night, Jack Conner spun a wheel in order to decide the type of match-up! It will be a Texas Bullrope Match! Introducing first, from Midland, Texas…weighing in at 278 pounds… “Outlaw” Jack Conner!“Harmonica’s Theme” hits on the arena sound system and Jack Conner comes out to a rousing ovation from the sold-out crowd. He gives a wave to the crowd with his signature brown cowboy hat and quickly walks down to the ring. When he gets to his corner, he takes puts his hat on the ring post and waits for the entrance of his opponent. This isn’t just any match…this is without exaggeration the single most important match of his life.Maxwell McNally: You’ve got to give the advantage in this match to Jack Conner. He’s been in Texas Bullrope Matches in the past, including one legendary bout with the great Stan Hansen. “Fast” Eddie Edison: Yes, that was a legendary match...twenty years ago. On top of that, Conner didn’t even win that match. I think he has no idea exactly what he’s gotten himself into. Philip: And next… He is being accompanied to the ring by Umeko Saito and he weighs in at 290 pounds… From Tokyo, Japan… Please welcome, Chance “Tiger VII” Emmerson!”This Velvet Glove” hits and Umeko emerges from the backstage area to a overwhelmingly negative response. Chance “Tiger VII” Emmerson gets a very similar response as he emerges second with a cold-blooded look in his eye. Umeko leads the way to the ring and nobody tries to interfere with their march. They get to their corner, where Chance anxiously waits for the match to beingMcNally: Tiger VII is a mountain of a man. From what we’ve seen he is nigh unstoppable. He’s a got an amazing striking game and a large repertoire of power maneuvers. Not to mention that he’s got Umeko Saito with him at ringside. She’s very likely to insert herself into this match-up if she gets the chance. Edison: This man is the favorite in this match, McNally! It’s going to be a massacre! McNally: I guess we’ll see… Now, for our fans unaware of how a Texas Bullrope Match works. It’s very simple and it isn’t pretty. There are no pinfalls, no submissions, and there are no holds barred. The goal of each competitor is to touch all four ring posts in succession without the loss of momentum. During all times, the competitors are to remained tied together by at the wrist by a bull rope. If either competitor knowingly takes off the bull rope, then he will be disqualified. Edison: I don’t think either man will go for that route. I have a feeling this match is going to end only when one of these guys can’t walk. Maxwell McNally: I have a feeling this is going to be a brawl like we’ve never seen before. Bell Rings. The two men test the length and strength of the rope as the measure one another up. The rope looks to be very strong and rather thick; it won’t break under ordinary circumstances. There is also a large steel cow bell in the center of the rope, per tradition, that can be used as a very dangerous weapon due to its sharp edges. The crowd, who’s been on their feet all night thus far, is taking the slow opening moments of this match as a chance to rest. There is no loud cheering, but merely the unique sound of quiet simmering anticipation. The two combatants begin to circle each methodically and begin to jockey for position. Tiger VII goes for a big lariat, but The Outlaw is able to duck it at the last second. Chance doesn’t let this opening stay open long and quickly turns back around to face father. Jack is unusually quick, especially considering rumors of a leg injury, and this clearly surprises the viewing audience. The two circle around one more time, and then Jack lunges forward with a lariat of his own. It’s fast and powerful, but Chance is as quick as his namesake and he’s able to dodge it just as well as his father dodged his. Jack also isn’t about to overextend himself anymore than need be and turns around quickly. The two men go nose to nose for a few seconds as the crowd pops. There are no words exchanged between them. The only thing these two competitors exchange is one long bitter glare. McNally: If looks could kill… Partner, have you ever seen a more personal matchup? Edison: I don’t think I have. Just look at the way those two are glaring at one another. This is going to be brutal. The Seventh Tiger breaks the momentary pause in the match by giving a sharp open handed slap right to his father’s face. The move is obviously both a challenge on Chance’s part and very physical show of disrespect. Jack pauses for a second or two as the crowd lets out a near unanimous “Oooooh” and then he returns the favor to Chance with a piston like right hand. The two trade rights and lefts as the crowd goes into a frenzy. The two are almost evenly matched when it comes to striking ability, but Chance does have a rather noticeable edge. Chance starts to gain control of the slugfest by throwing a few vicious kicks. In a gambit to perhaps strike a huge blow early in the match, he aims an incredibly vicious roundhouse right for his father’s head. The move is telegraphed, Jack sees it coming, and he’s able to duck just seconds before impact. The kick misses its intended target, which looked to be the somewhere on the side of Jack’s head, and this mistake leaves Chance very over extended. This small opening is all that the veteran Outlaw needs to take control of the match. He grabs his son, lifts him high into the air for an impressive looking suplex. He stalls for just a few seconds as the crowd cheers in awe of the impressive physical strength ACW’s oldest competitor is maintaining. Finally, he finishes the move and the mat ring shakes as well over half a ton crashes down onto the canvas. McNally: What a strength by The Outlaw! That stalling vertical suplex was quite the sight! Will you listen to this capacity crowd? I don’t think anybody expected for Jack Conner to take control of the match so early. Edison: It’s gonna be a long match McNally, calm down. Conner was a young man back when the Dead Sea was only sick. He won’t be able to last if this match turns out to be a long brawl.

At this exact same time, Umeko is seething on the outside. Most people, including her, expected her Seventh Tiger to dominate the early going of the match. Due mostly to some big mistakes in during the initial moments of the fray, this has not happened. She shouts some orders in Japanese towards Chance and begins to form some backup plans of her own…
McNally: Umeko doesn’t look happy at ringside. She’s shouting…well…something at her protégé.
Edison: Knowing those two, I don’t want to know what she’s saying.
Back inside the ring, Jack is quick to get back up to a vertical base following the big suplex. He wraps the bull rope around his son’s neck and tires to use it to hopefully choke some of the fight out of him. If this attack is effective, it really doesn’t show because Chance is quickly able to power his way almost completely out of the predicament. Jack, who realizes that he won’t be able to hold the choke on much longer, grabs the cowbell and begins to bludgeon it into his son’s head with all his might. Jack is able to get in about five stiff shots before he abandons the choke and rushes up to his feet. He takes a few steps back and waits for The Seventh Tiger to start moving. Chance gets up on his hands and knees and that’s when Jack makes his strike. He lunges forward with a running knee strike that firmly hits his opponent’s skull. He makes sure that he uses his right knee when executing the maneuver, as his left knee isn’t able to take repeated abuse.
McNally: And Jack Conner is firmly in control of this match. His use of the cowbell may not be one of the most scientific maneuvers we’ve ever seen, but it seems to be very effective. I think Tiger VII may have overestimated his opponent. He’s very lucky that he wasn’t cut open by that cowbell.
Edison: You don’t think it was scientific? What did you expect? Conner probably doesn’t even know how to spell scientific. I mean, do they even have high schools in Texas?
McNally: You’re unbelievable.
Tiger VII tries to get to his feet again, and Jack has him measured up for what looks like yet another running knee strike. Jack’s back is touching the ropes, and this is putting him in a precarious position. He’s unaware that Umeko is lurking just behind him. Just as he’s about to run forward again, Umeko climbs up on the apron and delivers a dastardly low blow. The Outlaw bends over in pain and Chance uses this opportunity to spring to his feet, charges forward and hits a Cactus Jack-style clothesline that propels both men over the top rope. They land rather awkwardly, and Umeko is barely able to dive out of the way before she’s crushed. The fans react loudly with boos for her interference, but those quickly morph into cheers for the overall spot.
McNally: That… Why doesn’t somebody get her out of here!? This isn’t supposed to be a handicap match.
Edison: I thought this was anything goes? I didn’t hear you whining and complaining when Conner was using the cowbell.
Feeling the need to motivate her Seventh Tiger, Umeko helps him up to his feet. She whispers something into his ear, looks very sternly at him, and then points towards Jack. One can surmise that Umeko wants Chance to use this opportunity to really hurt Jack Conner. It’s also likely that Chance isn’t the least bit opposed to this idea. Jack gets up to a seated position only to be blasted by a football kick right into the base of his spine. This elicits a much-deserved “Ooooooh” from the crowd. Conner collapses back down to the floor as Chance looks on with a vicious grin. He doesn’t pause in his assault one bit. He wraps the rope around his father’s neck, lifts him up, and uses it to toss him into the nearby barricade. Jack lands back first into the barricade and nearly falls head first onto the paper-thin “protective” mat.
McNally: Jack’s lucky that he didn’t land on his head right there. Tiger VII is not holding back one bit.
Edison: Not holding back? He’s one vicious son of a bitch! I love it!
Umeko: As do I. My Tiger will cripple Mr. Conner if he gets the opportunity.
McNally: What’re you doing here? This is supp—
Umeko: I thought it would be beneficial if I offered my unique insight into this match. Nobody, not even Mr. Conner, knows my Tiger like I do.
Edison: Leave her alone, McNally. She’s a lot easier on the eyes than Predator. In fact…she’s probably the single most beautiful guest commentator we’ve ever had!
Needless to say, Jack is stuck in a rather precarious position after his impact with the barricade. He’s upside down, and completely exposed to attack. Chance takes this opening for all it’s worth with two absolutely explosive kicks. One hits Jack solidly in the nose and the other gets him right in the ribs. The second kick knocks him back down to where he lands on his side and then rolls over to his back. Perhaps returning the favor from earlier, Chance grabs the cowbell and stabs at the forehead of his father repeatedly. The visual this provides is a lot more sickening than one would think. It only takes about four stabs before his attacks start to break the skin. As the blood starts to trickle down Jack’s forehead, Chance reacts to it like a shark during a frenzy. He makes it worse by replacing the stabbing motion with a sadistic looking grinding motion that rends and tears the flesh of his own father. When he’s satisfied by his handiwork, he methodically walks over to the nearby steel steps. Due to the length of the rope, Chance has to drag his opponent a little before he’s able to reach the steps. He’s able to pick them up in one motion, and lift them completely over his head in another. It’s quite the impressive sight.

Umeko: Look how effortlessly my Tiger is destroying Mr. Conner. He’s tearing him limb from limb!
McNally: Conner’s been cut open right above his eye. That cowbell is a brutal weapon in the wrong hands.
Edison: Cowbell? You’re still on the cowbell? LOOK at those steel steps, he’s going to take his head—
McNally: What’s this? Conner looks like he’s moving!
In the blink of an eye, Conner begins to get back to his senses. He sees Chance walking towards him, and by using remarkably quick thinking, he does the only thing he can… He jerks his left arm, which is attached to the rope, and this causes a chain reaction that causes Chance to lose his grip on the steel steps. The steel steps come crashing down on top of him and it looks like Jack has finally made himself an opening. The crowd pops loudly at this turn of events and Jack tries his best to make it to his feet so he can capitalize. When he finally succeeds, he walks over, tosses the steps off of his son, and slides him into the ring. Jack takes just a second to wipe the blood form his eyes before he picks his son up for a powerbomb attempt. With a little bit of trouble, he’s able to hit the move. The ring shakes upon the impact and the crowd pops with appreciation. Conner has his opening!
McNally: It looks like Conner is going to try to end this match right here.
Edison: End it? Let them go at it! This can’t end now! Umeko, how can this be happening!?
Umeko: You’ll have to excuse me, Gentlemen.
Umeko leaves her post as special guest commentator starts to shout Japanese in Chance’s position. Jack begins to touch the turnbuckles in his bid to end the match. He gets to the third one right as Chance begins to pull at the rope in an effort to stop the match from ending. Just as Jack is about halfway from touching the fourth turnbuckle pad, he starts to have to struggle to move forward. Both men are incredibly strong and it’s impossibly to say which man is the strongest. They’re nearly at a standstill, but Jack is still making forward progress thanks to the thunderous cheers of the sold-out crowd. He holds stretches out his hand as far as it will go and is just about to end the match when, out of nowhere, Umeko makes her presence felt. She climbs up on the apron, breaks open a little pouch in her left hand, and tosses a mysterious white powder right into Jack’s eyes. This sudden surprise attack causes Jack to miss the turnbuckle by just a fraction of an inch, but he’s able to keep his wits enough to make another attempt. Despite being blinded, it looks like he’s still going to make it until he gets pulverized from behind by northern lariat. The crowd boos this turn of events tremendously, with the brunt of their ire placed directly on Umeko.
McNally: Conner seemingly had the match won, but Umeko has made her presence felt once again! It appears as if she’s blinded Jack with some sort of powder. Tiger VII used the distraction to his advantage by executing a very strong clothesline to the of Conner’s head. I really don’t see how this is a fair contest with her at ringside.
Edison: Behind every great man, there’s a great woman, right McNally? This is great!
Chance “helps” Jack to his feet and places him into the corner. The referee, who doesn’t have much of a role in this match up at all, does not rule this as a victory for Jack as his momentum was stopped some time ago. Tiger VII begins to completely unload on his father with a flurry of striking attacks. He unloads with some vicious punches and quite a few exceedingly brutal elbows. Jack tries to strike back a few times, but the mixture of blood and powder in his eyes causes his attacks to miss dramatically. Chance finishes up his flurry with a staggering barrage of knees and kicks. After the last kick in the chain, he takes a few steps back and jerks on the rope as a means of tempting Jack to come forward. Not the type of man to back down even when the odds are against him, Jack takes a wild swing that misses completely and this leaves him wide open for a counterattack. Chance measures him up, takes his time, and completely obliterates him with the single most brutal roundhouse kick of the match. It connects and Jack’s head violently rocks backwards and then he crumbles to the mat. His cut, which wasn’t that large before the kick, splits wide open and blood begins to gush out of the cut just above his eye. The crowd pops with a loud “Oooooh” for the kick.
Edison: DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANGEROUS!!!!
McNally: Good Lord! That was one brutal roundhouse by Tiger VII. Did you hear the sound it made when it connected? It may have very well cracked Conner’s skull. Look at all that blood!
Jack falls face first just close to the center of the ring and the area directly around his head is quickly stained in blood. The Seventh Tiger takes a few moments to look at admire the carnage he has wrought, and then he looks over towards Umeko. She is still on the outside of the ring and she smiles in his direction. She also shouts a few words in Japanese, which are of a noticeably softer tone than her words earlier in the match. Chance touches the first turnbuckle, the second one, and the third one. As he makes his way across the ring towards the fourth and final turnbuckle, he starts to slow his pace. Just short of his victory, he stops firmly in his tracks. He looks down at his father, who hasn’t moved an inch since the kick from earlier, and then he motions towards Umeko. She grins sadistically, and starts rummaging under the apron.
McNally: That’s strange… Tiger VII had this match won… I don’t think that Conner’s even conscious after that kick. What’s going on?
Edison: Don’t you see it!? Don’t you see!? She’s going for the sledgehammer! This isn’t even about winning the match to those two!

Edison is right in his prediction. She’s quickly able to find the sledgehammer that they apparently stashed under the ring earlier in the night. Just as she’s going to slide it under the ring, Chance makes eye contact with her and motions for her to stop. The two share a quick knowingly smile with one another and Umeko stops what she’s doing. She walks over to the announce position, pushes Philip out from his chair, and takes it as her own. She now has a steel chair in one hand and a sledgehammer in another. She walks over and quickly slides them both in the ring. Chance walks over and picks them both up, with a sadistic glimmer in his eye. He stands just over his father…and he waits… Jack begins to stir and tries to get to his feet, but he falls down again. If this were a normal match, it would have probably been stopped by now. The Outlaw can’t even get to his own two feet without falling down. Finally, he’s able to stagger to his feet. He stands in place completely motionless for a few what seems like an eternity…it doesn’t look like he has any idea where he’s at.
McNally: Conner’s barely conscious. He’s got a sledgehammer in one hand and a steel chair in another hand. What’s he planning? Does he even have a conscious? This man isn’t just his opponent…it’s his sixty year old father! What’s he planning?
Edison: I don’t know McNally…but I think I like it!
Jack’s still very wobbly and he doesn’t even realize that his son is right behind him. He touches the cut above his eye and looks at his hand. He jerks back when he looks at it, and it becomes obvious that he’s only now realizing where he’s at and just how badly he’s hurt. He turns around and comes face to face with his son. A very confused expression comes across Jack’s face, even now he’s still doesn’t have all of his sense. Chance tosses him the chair and he has the presence of mind to catch it before it hits him right in the face. This is, of course, exactly what Chance had in mind. As Jack holds the chair right in front of his face…Chance rears back with his sledgehammer and brings it forward with a baseball bat-style swing aimed right at the steel chair. In what can only be called an act of instinct, Jack ducks out of the way at the last second. Before Chance can realize what happens, Jack blasts him right in the back of the head with a sickening chair shot. Both men collapse after the exchange and one wonders if Jack will even be able to capitalize on this turn of events. The crowd pops HUGE in what they see is the beginning of Jack Conner’s comeback in this match.
McNally: Conner narrowly avoided that sledgehammer/steel chair combo. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a move like that… They definitely don’t teach it at wrestling schools, that’s for sure… The question is whether or not he’ll be able to capitalize after giving Tiger VII a taste of his own medicine.
Edison: Capitalize? He can barely stand on his own two feet! He got lucky…and I think his luck’s just about run out!
Both men lay prone on the mat. Jack is still bleeding like a stuck pig. Chance has a small cut on the back of his head from the chair shot, but it doesn’t look like much next to Jack’s grim looking wound. Jack is the first to move and the crowd begins to clap in an effort to will him to his feet. He has some trouble, but he’s up to a vertical base a good few seconds before Chance is. When he’s finally standing up, Jack seems to see the world with a little more clarity. He’s come back to his senses. Then, instead of capitalizing…he waits for his son to get back to his feet too. Chance doesn’t keep him waiting and the two face off. Jack’s at one end of the ring and Chance is at another. To say that The Seventh Tiger looks to be angry is a tremendous understatement. In truth, he is furious beyond all description. He touches the back of his bare skull and looks at his hand to see that his father’s previous attack has drawn blood. He’s not anywhere near as bad off his father, who’s wearing the proverbial “Crimson Mask.”
McNally: Both men look like they’ve been through hell.
Edison: That’s because they have been through hell, McNally!
McNally: Conner’s lost a whole lot of blood… If this match lasts too much longer, I think we may see the end of his storied career.
Edison: I don’t think the Tiger would have it any other way.

By this point in the match, Jack realizes that things aren’t going in his favor. Of the two men, he’s easily the one who’s sustained the most abuse throughout the course of this match-up. Still, he’s not done fighting yet. He pulls on the bull rope to urge Chance forward and then he kicks the steel chair out of the ring in order to try to make a point. Against his better judgment, and against what sounds like Umeko’s objections outside the ring, Chance kicks the sledgehammer out of the ring as well. Then, he brashly rushes forward, fully intent on taking his father’s head off, only to walk right into spectacular powerslam. The ring shakes and the crowd explodes in support of Jack’s comeback. The quick motions involved in the maneuver causes him to lose a bit of the stability he’s maintained and to top it off, his vision is still terrible. However, he takes comfort in the fact that maybe he’s slowed his son down just a little bit. After he gets to his feet, he keeps up his momentum by kicking Chance as hard as he can right in the ribs. It doesn’t take long for Chance to fight his way to his feet, but Jack’s second wind is allowing him to get the better of this exchange for a little while. However, the longer time goes on and the more blows they exchange, he slowly begins to realize that he cannot win a drawn out blow-for-blow fight with his son. So, Jack switches things up by quickly lifting him up and dropping him throat first onto the ropes.
McNally: A very nice snake eyes maneuver by Jack in desperation! He knows he can’t go blow for blow with Tiger VII, so he’s trying to even the playing field.
Edison: Even the playing field? He’s a coward! He couldn’t fight him like a man, so he decided to go for an underhanded maneuver like that. Jack Conner is as old as a dinosaur and let me tell you...he’s about to become extinct if he doesn’t pull something huge out of his bag of tricks soon.
McNally: Are you listening to yourself?
Tiger VII lands on his feet after bouncing neck first into the ropes. He clutches his neck and turns around to walk right into a HUGE back body drop at the hands of the Outlaw. Rather than keep attacking, he goes for the turnbuckles. He’s able to get his hands on the first one with no problem. The result is the same with the second one, but before he leaves to go towards the third one, Umeko grabs onto his left ankle in an effort to slow him down. Jack Conner really hates her by this point, but as much as he does, he isn’t about to do what he should and kick her with his other foot. Rather, he struggles with her and is quickly able to pull his leg free. Unbeknownst to him at the time, she delayed him for as long as she wanted. When he finally is able to concentrate on the task at hand, it’s too late for him to dodge The Tiger’s Charge by Chance!

McNally: Again Umeko’s presence has changed the course of this match up. Tiger VII calls that move The Tiger’s Charge. As our viewers can plainly see, it is an exceedingly vicious running big boot.
Edison: How can you calmly call the action like that? Did you SEE how Jack’s head rocked backwards? This is absolute carnage!
McNally: It’s because I’m a professional, and yes I did see it. If Jack Conner didn’t have a concussion earlier, then he certainly must have one now!
Chance is quick to catch Jack after the boot so that he doesn’t fall down. This action is far from chivalrous on his part, as he only does so in order to quickly move on to his next attack. His next attack is a volley of trapping head butts with his head aimed squarely at the exceedingly large opening above his eye. Chance gets about five shots in before he picks up Jack by the throat and tosses him into the corner like a rag doll. Jack slumps down into the corner and Chance quickly follows it up with a facewash that adds insult to injury. The crowd violently boos what looks to them like the end for Jack Conner. He’s has lost a lot of blood…a whole lot of blood. Not to mention that he looks like he’s barely conscious. The Seventh Tiger, like the fans, sees this as the beginning of his victory and he looks intently over in Umeko’s direction. It’s almost as if she can read his mind, because she quickly retrieves his silver coin and tosses it high into the air. It lands on tails and as soon as Chance sees this, a smile creeps across his face. He gets Jack out of the corner and puts him into the powerbomb position. Right as he gets him up into the air, Jack comes to his senses and starts to punch him over and over again. Chance tries to run forward, but the punches quickly become too much and he collapses.
McNally: You’ve got to believe that was desperation on Conner’s part! If Tiger VII had hit the Tiger’s Heaven, then this match would have been over for sure. His biggest mistake must have been not ending this match when he had the chance earlier. He must be thinking that nothing can put Conner away by this point. He just won’t stop fighting!
Edison: If I were in The Outlaw’s shoes… I’d just let this match end. Every minute this match goes on longer than it has to is taking months off what’s left of his career. Just look at the ring! It’s a mess!
Something seems to have come over Jack Conner. This isn’t his second wind. It might very well be his third wind. Despite the fact that he’s lost a whole lot of blood. Despite the fact the odds are against him. Despite the fact that, in his current condition, he’s completely overmatched. Despite everything that’s going against him, he’s still able to put up a fight. Chance “Tiger VII” Emmerson isn’t exactly in the best of conditions either. He’s still bleeding a little from a cut on the back of his head. He’s also taken quite a beating throughout the match. Yes, Chance does have a very significant advantage, but it’s either man’s match at this point. Jack is the first to get up, and he has to take a few seconds to get fully balanced when he does. It’s very obvious that he has some sort of a concussion, even to the untrained eye. Chance isn’t too far behind him and the two begin to trade blows.
McNally: You’ve got to believe that this match is almost at it’s end. The are trading punches now, but it simply can’t last too much longer.
Edison: Way to state the obvious…
Chance goes for a big punch, but Jack’s blocks it and returns with one of his own. Chance goes for a second one, but Jack is able to block this one as well and return a punch of equal ferocity. With the momentum slipping over to his side, Jack follows it up with a flurry of punches that Chance simply isn’t able to block. As the crowd’s rush begins to build, Jack attempts to Irish whip Chance into the ropes… Chance counters it into an Irish Whip of his own. As his father comes back, Chance bends over for a back body drop. Jack has the presence to stop his forward momentum, and in a blink of an eye reverses the attempted back body drop into….
McNally: The Outlaw’s Hammer! Conner hit his signature piledriver out of nowhere!
Edison: The hell?!?! How’d he do that?!?!
McNally: You’ve got to believe that this match is over! All Conner has to do is touch all four turnbuckle posts and this match will finally be over. What a comeback!
Edison: I can’t believe this is happening…
Jack slowly gets to his feet as the crowd cheers reach their apex. All he has to do is touch the four turnbuckle corners and this match is over. He doesn’t immediately begin to walk towards the different corners, as he instead opts to wipe the blood from his eyes first. Once he’s done with this, he quickly walks to the first one with ease as the crowd triumphantly chants “Outlaw!” repeatedly. He gets to the second one and that’s where Umeko makes here presence felt again… She grabs his ankle again like before, but this time it simply can’t slow him down. He’s able to quickly kick free like before and he makes his way to the third turnbuckle. Umeko begins shouting in Japanese towards Chance’s position, but he simply doesn’t stir. Jack’s gait starts to become wobbly, and he starts to look like he’s having a little trouble walking as he makes it to the third corner. Finally, with no obstacles to be seen, he begins to make his walk to the fourth and final corner. The crowd’s cheers suddenly stop as he reaches the halfway point. It’s a very scary sight to see. He staggers from left to right and seems to be struggling to maintain his footing and then…he just falls down. It’s as simple and as terrifying as that.
McNally: Oh my… This…isn’t good. Somebody send some help down here. Jack Conner appears to have collapsed. This doesn’t look good at all.
Edison: You don’t think he’s—
McNally: I don’t want to speculate anything. All I know is that he’s hurt. Somebody please send the trainers out here right now! This match has to stop right now! Send somebody down right now and call an ambulance. Jack Conner is hurt and he may be hurt bad.

Just seconds after Jack collapses, Chance struggles up to his feet. He’s a little out of it himself. The first thing he notices is that he doesn’t hear anything. The crowd is deathly quiet. The first thing that comes to his mind is that he may have sustained some sort of concussion due to the effects of The Outlaw’s Hammer. With this firmly in his mind, quickly surveys the area for his father and suspects an attack at any moment. It takes only a second before he looks over to see his opponent…his father…laying horrifyingly still on the mat. This visual makes him very confused and then looks over to see that Umeko is on the outside, looking just as shocked as anybody. She doesn’t feel sorry for Jack Conner one bit, but this is an entirely unforeseen occurrence. His gaze goes back onto his father, who still isn’t moving, and he can’t even tell if he’s breathing or not. Chance knew what he wanted when he started this war. He knew that he wanted to take his father and crush whatever happiness he had left in his career. He’d come to terms with what he felt he had to do. He just…never imagined it like this. He doesn’t go for the to touch the turnbuckles, it just doesn’t feel right. In some ways, he’s a monster who’s finally seen the fruit of his labors. In other ways, he’s just a man who’s horrified to see his father in such a terrible state. He watches on with a blank expression as the trainers rush out to check on him. They quickly find that he does have a indeed have a pulse and that he seems to be breathing. They try to wake him up as a paramedic crew comes down the ramp with a stretcher. All the while, all Chance can bring himself to do is watch.
Umeko, furious at Chance’s apparent inability to act, walks over to the announce position and grabs a microphone from Philip.
Umeko: Very good, my Tiger. You’ve gotten everything that you’ve ever wanted. Look at Jack Conner. For all we know, he might not even make it through the night. If he does, it’s the very least that he deserves. Regardless of that fact… His career is over. Now all you have to do is touch the corners and you’ll be declared the winner.
Chance doesn’t really respond to anything that she says. It’s almost as if he’s off in his own little world. He doesn’t really understand why she wants him to finish the match now. There’s doesn’t seem to be a point to it. It all seems rather insignificant considering the severity of the current situation. He doesn’t budge.
Umeko: Please don’t try my patience, my Tiger. This is everything that you’ve always wanted. You should be happy. I know you’re exhausted and I know you think this is only a formality… Just do as I say and finish the match.
Chance doesn’t see the point and he nothing feels right about what he’s doing. The crowd is silent, at this point they couldn’t care less what Umeko or Chance do. They’re all too worried about Jack’s wellbeing. Without anything to hinder him, Chance touches all four posts and the referee, who’s thoughts are obviously elsewhere as well, calls for the bell.
Bell Rings
Umeko: I’ll handle this one… Here is your winner… My Seventh Tiger, Chance Emmerson!
Chance watches as they put Jack onto a stretcher and haul him off to the backstage area. Umeko enters the ring and hugs Chance in triumph. She somehow manages not to get her dress bloody. Then, as they’re about to leave the ring, Chance notices something in the corner of his eye… Right on the ring post in Jack’s corner sits his old brown hat. In all the commotion, none of the trainers or paramedics thought to get it. For whatever reason, Chance walks over to look at it. He lifts it up and looks at it… He knows that his father has had it throughout his entire career, but he really never understood why the thing was so special to him…
On a whim, he looks on the inside…and what he sees there hits him like a punch to the gut. It’s a picture of a beautiful young woman. Chance immediately recognizes it as his mother…from a long time ago. It seems that Jack kept the picture taped on the inside of his hat, so his wife would always be close by. For the fist time, the thought that he might have been wrong about what kind of man his father was…what kind of man he is…starts to dawn on Chance. Just as he’s about to take the picture out, Umeko snatches it from his hands and puts it on her head. She hasn’t a clue about the picture and Chance doesn’t look like he feels like telling her. The hat fits her surprisingly well. It’s her trophy. At least she has something to show from all of this. All her Seventh Tiger has to show from this entire bloody ordeal is mind filled with questions…
Fade.
