The thought certainly does seem to be occurring to others; as Sarin and Predator trade blows close to the ropes, Jack and Scott are sizing one another up and seem to think that they have a good shot at taking their opponent out. Scott knows exactly what to do, and he targets Jack’s left knee with his powerful kicks so that Jack has to try and protect himself. Slipping in a hooked kick, Scott makes Jack drop to one knee and goes for a step-up kick to the head; Jack though ducks and rolls sideways, without the speed or flair of the younger competitors but quickly enough to avoid a nasty hit. Undeterred, Scott moves close a second time and ties up, and the two men struggle to overpower one another… but even as this is occurring, the fans can see that Sarin and Predator’s battle is reaching a crucial point. Sarin has Predator doubled over in pain from a relentless assault to his gut, and she hurries to the ropes to launch into a Rincarana – but Tornado tries to grasp her and execute a bridging German suplex, delaying the Flower of Chaos while she “persuades” him against such an idea. In the intervening moments, Predator recovers, and Sarin has no chance to see him before she turns around; Predator hammers her with punches, and then sets up the Predigree, drawing huge boos from the crowd as it connects. RAF rushes over as Predator makes a pin, and Sarin looks as if she’s about to make an untimely exit, but she kicks on the cusp of 3 and the cry of relief from the crowd alerts FSX, who is battling against Doom a short distance away. Having momentarily disabled Doom with a DDT, FSX sees a chance to further his cause and moves up behind Predator; he lifts the CA lynchpin and Soul Transfers him to oblivion, for an enormous reaction from the fans. With RAF already on hand, FSX has no trouble in keeping Predator down, especially when Sarin adds her own weight to the pin, and the bell rings to signal the first elimination.
Philip: Predator has been eliminated!
Predator is understandably furious at being knocked out, and tries to argue with RAF, but the veteran referee will have none of his nonsense, and orders him directly to the back. As a parting gift, Predator gives FSX a Simba Slam (Full Nelson slam) before leaving while he’s being distracted by Sarin; the newly crowned Tag champion tries to capitalize with a cover, but FSX kicks out strongly, and the glare the pair exchange shows that there’s no love lost between them.
Edison: Wow, you can practically see the sparks coming off here, Max.
McNally: It looks like FSX wants some payback for their earlier encounter…
McNally’s comment appears to be accurate; with kicks being exchanged at a frantic rate the conflict between FSX and Sarin doesn’t look like it’s going to end any time soon, and the crowd finds itself spoiled for choice as to what to watch. The different strategies of the competitors is starting to be revealed now; Jack is using his accumulated knowledge of multi-man battles to conserve energy whilst not passing up the opportunity to do some damage when it presents itself. Just such an opportunity arises now, as a resurgent Dr. Doom hits Red with his Workers of the World (Lungblower); Doom is about to drop into a cover, but Jack turns him around and then shows off his strength with a stalling vertical suplex – the stall leaves him vulnerable, but the opposition is either too busy to notice or opts to let Doom take the drop. As Jack completes the move, the crowd roars, and Jack makes a cover, 1…2- but Doom kicks free, and grabs Jack around the throat before rising up. The Outlaw tries to fight his way out, but Doom’s grip is solid, and the situation looks increasingly grim for the match’s most mature participant…
But that’s not the most critical situation in the ring at this moment; unnoticed by all but those closest to him, Scott Andrews’ frustration is mounting with every second. He and Tornado have been conducting a stunning exchange, with both coming close to achieving the pin on one another; Tornado has produced a beautiful Top-rope Zerosen kick, while Scott has thrilled the fans with his own Diversion, springing from the ropes twice in succession before delivering the final hurricanrana. As the two men move in close, Tornado leaps into a high dropkick… but Scott ducks low, and then makes the crowd go batty by striking with his Tiger Spin. Scott is all set to make Tornado tap… but even as he’s preparing for the Scarlet fever, the crowd’s attention is drawn to what’s happening on the corner post close by. Red and AK have been battling both inside and outside the ring, AK using the outside area to keep out of the line of sight of her preoccupied foes, and the pair are now balanced on the post struggling for supremacy. AK thinks she has it, and goes for a superplex… but Red counters, and then stuns everyone with a jumping powerbomb delivered to the champ at full power… and RAF sees this and rushes to make the resulting count, 1…2…- AK kicks out at 2.5, and simultaneously Tornado starts tapping out to Scott. RAF though has his back to this, and the submission goes unseen; when there is no bell, Scott looks around him and becomes suffused with anger. Enraged, he releases the hold, and yells at RAF…
Edison: He tapped, he tapped!
McNally: But you know the rule, Eddie, if the ref didn’t see it, it never happened… and boy is Scott steamed!

RAF doesn’t take kindly to being shouted at, and bellows back at Scott; Tornado, meanwhile, gets up and attempts to blindside his foe. Scott, however, senses him and something snaps inside the Scarlet Assassin; he lashes out with the Reload (Dragon Whip) and sends Tornado crashing to the mat.
McNally: Look out! Scott’s entering his state of instability, anything could happen now!
Scott rages through the rest of the field like a forest fire, he “reloads” over and over again, taking down almost everyone in the ring, and no one can find a way to halt his rampage, to the point that even AK gets a taste of his fury. Such is Scott’s state that he doesn’t realize who he’s just hit with the reload for a second or two, and then memory kicks in and he dives into the pin. RAF counts, the fans going mental, 1….2….-
The pin is broken by the unscheduled arrival of a masked man, who has been literally thrown into the situation. Dr. Doom has been demonstrating his power to Jack, FSX and Sarin, who managed to get themselves tangled up in the fight whilst battling one another, and as Scott was on his charge Doom has also been cleaning house. He has achieved near-falls on all three of his opponents, but Scott’s actions have bought them just a few seconds, and combining forces against the greater threat, they have overpowered Doom and collectively suplexed him on top of the pin. The pin dissolves as AK rolls out of the way as fast as possible; Scott stands up very slowly, as does Doom, and the pair stare at one another for just a second. Two different kinds of wrath…
Doom moves first, and instinctively sidesteps to avoid Scott’s kick before grasping him. He throws all his power into the Siberian Express, and the crowd is amazed at the force. Surely it’s over for Scott, as Doom pins, 1…2…- but Scott somehow thrashes, and is also aided by FSX dashing in and pulling Doom away to assist his stablemate. Doom is livid, and in his anger makes an uncharacteristic mistake – he goes after FSX, and uses a vicious Dragon Screw that leaves FSX clutching his leg. But this lets Scott get back on his feet, and his mentally unstable but powerful condition makes him even faster than normal. Doom hears him and turns- to see nothing… it’s when he turns back that Scott is there, and he blasts him with a completely unrestrained head shot. The crowd is awestruck, and it’s all over for the Doctor; he smacks into the canvas, and no one is daft enough to get in Scott’s way as he makes the pin for the 1,2,3.
Philip: Dr. Doom has been eliminated!
The crowd cheers for the stupendous action, and Scott jumps up, pumping his arm in victory. As Doom is retrieved from the ring by some standby officials, Scott feels on top of the world, and his thoughts turn to one thing and one thing only. AK is ready for him, and the crowd cheers as the pair take centre stage and charge at one another…
But no! Someone else wants a piece of the action; Red’s tactic is blindingly simple. He sticks out a foot and trips AK, who sprawls and slides on the mat; Scott has to jump over her, and as he reaches the ropes he rebounds directly into a massive dropkick from Red, which pitches him out over the top rope. This flurry of activity momentarily causes the other four people in the ring to pause, but not for long; confident that AK can handle Red for the next minute or two, Tornado runs up behind Sarin and knocks her down with a clothesline. He makes a pin, but Sarin kicks, and now Jack takes his turn to get involved; FSX doesn’t seem to be in the ring any longer, and the camera catches a brief shot of him on the outside, checking on Scott and whispering something to him…

In the centre of the ring, Red is putting everything into his attempts to overcome AK; the pair tie up, and Red gets the drive back toward the ring ropes. As they near them, AK pivots around on one foot and whips Red into the ropes; Red bounces off and AK delivers a near Fisherman’s suplex for a pop, but her count only gets 2. Red rolls up on to his feet and with astonishing speed plants a kick to AK’s ribs; AK staggers back, and Red dashes past her to the ropes, leaping off into a Sunset flip. The fans cry out, and AK does well to kick free at 2.5.
McNally: Well, I hope that the people who doubted Red’s suitability for this match are eating their words. Look at this guy go!
Edison: It’s like that Entertainment title win has rejuvenated him, Max…
Red is practically glowing with energy, and the concentration can be clearly seen on AK’s face; she’s taking this as seriously as possible, and now she too does not hold back as she fires off a stream of mid-kicks at her opponent. Red reels back, but cannot, will not back down now, and though the fans are still most assuredly on AK’s side they are willing Red to show them what he can do. Red does not let them down; as AK mis-times an elbow strike, Red armdrags her on to the mat and then hits an elbow drop close to the ropes. He rolls under them, emerging on the opposite side of the apron, and sets off a huge wave of camera flashes as he leaps up…
Edison: DDAAAANNNGGERRROOUUSS!!
McNally: A triple rotation corkscrew moonsault!! That’s something special!
THAT got everyone’s attention; as Red makes a cover, Scott and FSX pop up on the outside, and grabbing a leg each pull Red from the ring. The crowd boos, and Scott and FSX start to double-team Red; Red backs off whilst defending, and as AK finds herself having to deal with a fresh attack from Tornado, RAF’s attention is fully taken up by goings-on in the ring. Scott and FSX think that this gives them an extra advantage – but they are proved totally wrong as Red reaches the timekeepers corner and grabs his Cincinnati Reds baseball bat. The crowd loves it as Red chases Scott and FSX around the ring; RAF misses the infringement as he’s counting a 2 on a pin that AK is making on Tornado, and also trying to keep an eye on Jack and Sarin. Jack has for the most part avoided directly fighting the women in the match until now, and Sarin also seems respectfully cautious…
Tornado kicks out of the pin, and as AK rolls up on to her feet she sees the “running” battle on the outside. With a smile, AK times her run-up and then takes a flying leap over the ropes; she connects with Scott and FSX, and Red takes the opportunity to place his bat down out of sight under the ring and re-enter it. Tornado and Sarin are now fighting one another; Jack sees Red and moves forward, but Red stands his ground and manages to send Jack out through the middle ropes. Jack instinctively rolls to land on his right side, and as AK slips back into the ring, she can’t resist rushing over and knocking both Sarin and Tornado out as well, so that only she and Red are left inside.
Red smiles and gives AK a wink; AK rolls her eyes. They charge at one another, and both connect with leaping kicks; as they hit the mat Red rolls over and tries a pin. AK gets her shoulder up at 2, but Red doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to get off of her; he grins, and at first AK looks annoyed, but then, strangely, she smiles.
McNally: Hold on, something’s up here…
AK takes hold of Red and flips him over, so that now he’s got his back on the mat. Red looks confused, and AK gently puts a hand behind his neck and leans forward…
Edison: Whooooooaaaaa!
The kiss is gentle rather than passionate; nevertheless, Red’s eyes become as wide as saucers, and kicking out is the very last thing on his mind. RAF is sharp enough to see that his shoulders are down, however, and he counts the 1,2,3.
Philip: The OnlyRedsFan has been eliminated!
AK stands up, and Red seems to be in a dreamy state for a moment or two before he does the same. Realising what’s happened, he shakes his head a little, but he doesn’t seem too upset, all things considered. He rolls out of the ring and collects his bat and title belt, holding both up as he goes to the back accompanied by a warm round of applause from the fans.

Sarin is laughing as she rolls back into the ring. AK takes up a defensive stance, but then her gaze shifts past Sarin, and the two women see that FSX and Scott are taking advantage of the diversion to do some damage to Tornado and Jack. The crowd boos as the two senatorial members slide back into the ring, leaving their opponents temporarily disabled on the outside, and then they go straight for their remaining two foes. The four lightweights bounce around the ring, conducting things at a frantic pace, until FSX gives Scott a nod and they simultaneously whip AK and Sarin into opposite corners. FSX takes Sarin while Scott takes on AK, and they sit the ladies up on the turnbuckles.
McNally: This looks familiar…
The crowd has some idea of what’s coming, but they still react loudly when Scott and FSX perform seated dropkicks to their opponents in a carbon copy of the move originated by FSX the last time he and AK met. Scott rushes to bundle AK back in the ring, and FSX comes to join him; AK is really starting to feel the effects of the contest now, and she knows that the end is nowhere in sight if she’s to retain her title… but she won’t give up, and looks both her opponents in the eyes.
Edison: Even at a 2 to 1 disadvantage, Atomic’s not prepared to concede an inch.
McNally: That’s the mark of a champion right there… Scott and FSX had better make this quick too, there’s signs of life on the outside.
As Scott and FSX both attack AK at once, McNally’s assertion is illustrated by a camera shot that shows the three competitors on the outside getting themselves up. They roll back into the ring, and Sarin creeps around close to Tornado and Jack…
FSX has just competed a Soul Digger for a count of 2 when he notices the others; as Scott is giving AK another demonstration of the Reload (in case she and everyone else missed it the first time), FSX speaks into Scott’s ear and Scott nods. Taking hold of AK, FSX runs at the ropes and tosses her to the outside; he springboards off into the defiance of death (standard corkscrew moonsault), and quickly gets out of the way as Scott follows it up with a “Suisault”, driving AK down even as she’s regaining her feet. The crowd starts to chant and call for AK, whose head is spinning; the pressure of trying to read so many opponents is getting to her, and self-doubt is beginning to gnaw… has she made a narcissistic mistake in agreeing to this match?
There is little time to ponder this; Scott and FSX roll her back into the ring, and seeing that the others are now back on their feet, FSX prepares to defend their position. Scott, however, has other ideas; he makes a pin on AK, who kicks out just after the 2 count, and hearing the slaps on the mat FSX is jolted back to reality… teamwork will get him only so far in this match. He turns to shout at Scott, but then Sarin runs in and kicks him hard in the chest, sending him to the mat; at the same time Jack takes advantage of Tornado’s lack of concentration and tries to hit him with the Outlaw’s Hammer. Tornado struggles free, and the pair begin to trade punches and kicks; FSX meanwhile has a dilemma, for while he desires the World title he also wants revenge on Sarin… and yet every moment he spends on her is another chance for Scott to take the title while he’s occupied.
FSX’s answer is to deflect Sarin away from him as she runs forward; he sends her into AK, who has Scott lifted up for an Atomic Drop, and sends them all to the mat. With everyone down FSX has to choose his target; he makes a cover on AK, who kicks out just after the 2, but he also feels his legs being pulled back, and he can’t tell if Sarin or Scott is responsible. Getting up, FSX sees Scott whip Sarin hard into a corner in an attempt to get rid of her; FSX takes a chance and rushes forward, shoulder-tackling Sarin. Sarin groans and slides down into a sitting position; FSX looks at her, then at the rest of the people in the ring… and temptation is too hard to resist. He raises his arms in a “pushing” motion, and then slaps his behind…
McNally: Oh no, this isn’t what I think it is, is it?
Edison: FSX, you animal! She’s a lady!
Proving that ACW truly is an equal opportunities federation, FSX takes great delight in backing it right up and giving Sarin the full Stinkface. Sarin thrashes and squeals in disgust, and looks furious as FSX finally moves away before Sarin gets it together enough to low-blow him; at that moment the crowd roars once again as a tiring Scott and AK each leap into Gamengiris, almost mirroring one another and connecting with great force.
McNally: Jeez, that had to hurt… it’s interesting, Scott Andrews and Atomic share a very similar fighting style, it’s going to be hard for either of them to surprise their opponent here…

FSX sees his chance and dives in for a cover; AK kicks just before the 3, but it’s very close indeed. Attempting a second pin, FSX is pulled back, and comes face to face with Sarin; now determined to take one another out, they swap kicks, and Sarin tries again and again for the Rin Spin II, but is blocked each time. Finally, she halts, and FSX smirks… Sarin looks directly at him, and mouths “it’s over”. FSX prepares for the strike, certain now that he can counter it and eliminate his rival-
-And Sarin does attack, but not FSX – she turns around 180, and blasts Scott in the back of the head with the Rin Spin II. By a pure fluke, AK is also going for her EMP – Scott tries to dodge it but then puts himself straight into Sarin’s line of fire, and Sarin knocks him directly back into AK’s path. Scott drops like a sack of rocks, and as FSX stares, he doesn’t see Jack and Tornado abruptly halt their battle and move in behind him. Tornado grabs FSX’s arm and whips him into Jack, who uses the momentum to deliver a crushing Outlaw’s Spike; Sarin and Tornado make the pins at the same time, and RAF delivers a double count for the 1…2…3.
Philip: FSX AND Scott Andrews have been eliminated!
The crowd is stunned by the double elimination; both Scott and FSX are very groggy as they roll out of the ring, but as they glance at the remaining four participants, they realize that they tried to play the numbers game just a little too long, and made themselves an unacceptable threat. Even so, the crowd has been thrilled by their performance, and both have unequivocally proved that they can handle the pressure of the main event spotlight.
There is a brief standoff now, as the four remaining competitors size one another up. They’ve all played a long-term strategy, but now they know that they can hang back no longer; AK understands that she needs to try and take control of the match and wrap it up, while the others know that their chances of a pin are improving with every second…
Wait, did I say “chance”? How oddly appropriate…
There is a huge surge of booing from the crowd, and everyone in the ring turns to see what’s going on. For one of them, it’s a serious shock; Chance and Umeko stride to the ring, and Chance enters it without so much as a by-your-leave, holding his now infamous sledgehammer.
McNally: What in the blue hell do those two want?
Jack can’t take his eyes off of his son; Sarin is wary, Tornado clenches his fists, and AK steps closer to Raymond Fleming.
AK: Does he have any business being here?
RAF: Unfortunately, yes.
AK nods, she like the others now knows who the ninth entrant is. His late arrival is in keeping with Chance’s mind games up to this point, but RAF isn’t about to be fazed by anything of the sort.
RAF: All right sonny Jim, get rid of THAT and I’ll allow this match to restart. If I see you – or her – lay one finger on it while this match is progressing, you’ll be disqualified and out of this ring faster than you can blink. Understand?
Chance looks blankly at RAF, then takes out a coin and flips it. He covers it with his hand, and looks, but no one other than him sees how it landed. He pockets it, and then passes the hammer to Umeko, who places it on the outside.
Edison: I guess the kid’s going to be allowed into this match after all…
RAF’s ring sense tells him that this isn’t over, but for now simply signals the timekeeper, and the match is off once again.

The crowd leans forward, expecting Chance to launch himself immediately at his father, but the One Eyed man in fact pays no attention to Jack and instead lunges at Sarin, grasping her and delivering a savage facebuster. Umeko claps and encourages Chance on as he stomps away at his opponent; AK feels an urge to help, but Tornado understandably still has the belt as his first priority and catches hold of AK from behind, and then sets up and executes a rolling clutch pin. Jack is not slow to break it up; he has a choice of who to go after, and to the surprise of many chooses Tornado, getting him into a sleeperhold. Thus freed, AK jumps up and sees Sarin trapped in one of the corners; Chance is booting her repeatedly in the stomach, and Umeko is most certainly not taking a hands-off approach, as she restrains Sarin and digs her long and shapely nails into Sarin’s neck and shoulders with a nasty smile. AK thinks for a moment, and then runs in and kicks off of Chance’s back into a flip; Chance is distracted, and Sarin immediately wrenches herself out of Umeko’s grip and scrambles away to try and catch her breath.
McNally: I thought Sarin was on her way out of the match… surely it would have been to Atomic’s advantage to let that continue?
Edison: Not necessarily, it may be a case of better the devil you know here, Max.
Turning around swiftly, Chance lays eyes on the Champion, and AK takes up a fighting stance staying well clear of the ropes. Showing no signs of nerves, or morals for that matter, Chance moves forward quickly and starts to hit AK with rapid-fire punches. Umeko jumps up and down on the apron and calls in a shrill voice until RAF turns and tells her to keep it down; Chance immediately switches into full-on closed hand punches, and AK reels from his raw power. With his opponent dizzy, Chance lifts AK and hits a quick running powerbomb – he doesn’t build the speed for maximum impact but it’s still very damaging, and the crowd cries out in alarm as Chance goes for the cover. Jack sees it, and seems to want to act, but it’s as if there’s some sort of wall between himself and his son – so instead he turns Tornado around from his attack on him, and Tornado has no qualms about running in and breaking the pin up at 2.5.
Edison: Ooh, that was close…
Tornado wastes no time laying into Chance; he’s taking a risk against the unknown quantity, but he bristles with indignation at the young man’s swanning into the match at such a late stage, and his anger gives extra strength to his blows so that even Umeko starts to look a little concerned. The crowd cheers, getting behind Tornado as he takes it to Chance with a running bicycle kick. Chance falls, and Tornado covers, but Chance is far fresher and kicks before the 2 count. The crowd boos, and Tornado stands back up looking fatigued; Chance smirks and hits Tornado a couple of times before whipping him into the ropes. However, Tornado takes this opportunity to use his Handspring Pele; it catches Chance unawares, and now everyone is rooting for Tornado as he hurries to the nearest ropes. The other competitors are all taking a welcome rest, and also grabbing the chance (I know, terrible pun) to observe their new opponent’s style; no one however notices Umeko creep into position, and as Tornado gets up on the turnbuckle Umeko pulls on his ankles and Tornado slips, ramming himself against the post in a most painful fashion. RAF shouts at Umeko, who strenuously denies any wrongdoing; whilst his attention is drawn, the head referee misses Chance’s blatant and vicious choke on Tornado, who by now is in a great deal of trouble. Sensing that things can only get worse if their numbers are reduced, Sarin and AK try to counter-attack, but Chance has far superior physical strength and knocks them both flying. As Tornado struggles to stand, an increasingly angry AK rises and rushes at Chance a second time, only for the One Eyed man to calmly grab Tornado and swing him around like a human shield so that AK plants a flying dropkick right into him.
McNally: Now that was a smart move…
Edison: Hrumph, I’d call it sneaky.
With Tornado still in his grip, Chance delivers a Northern Lights Suplex, straight into a pin; Jack watches, an inner conflict raging in his eyes, and RAF makes the count for the 1…2..3.
Philip: Tornado has been eliminated!
The fans boo, and Chance lifts Tornado and unceremoniously dumps him out of the ring. Tornado thumps down, but stands back up and shouts angrily at Chance, who just folds his arms; Umeko stalks around and applauds her man, and gives Tornado a taste of her acid scorn… but then Chance is struck from behind by both AK and Sarin, who are clearly getting very tired of his attitude. Chance tumbles out of the ring, and Tornado gains great satisfaction from hopping on to the apron and then delivering a Cyclone Driver (Sunset Flip Piledriver) as Chance tries to rise. He heads to the back as Umeko shakes Chance and tries to get him moving, aware of the 10 count that RAF has started…

Back in the ring, AK and Sarin’s temporary alignment is already history; the two women are smashing one another with mighty kicks, fighting through their fatigue. Sarin can almost feel the belt calling to her, and with Yoko’s support firmly lodged in her mind she is able to relax, and bring out her best game. AK’s mental state is very different; with every part of her body aching she has to fight to stay focused, and tiredness lets a lack of precision creep in so that she strays too close to the ropes. Sarin sees her goal tantalizingly close, and she springboards into the Flower of Chaos; the crowd leaps on to its feet, as the pin is made, 1…2….-
Jack pulls Sarin clear at the last possible second, and whips her away from him into the far corner before hitting AK with a legdrop and pinning of his own accord. RAF counts once again, 1…..2….- this time AK gets her shoulder up, and Jack raises an eyebrow, as if pleased to see that his opponent still has some fight left in her. AK rolls out on to her feet, and even in a tired state she has a natural speed that exceeds that of Jack; seeing Sarin coming out of the corner, she gathers her strength and then pwers forward, building speed and driving Jack backward before he can strengthen his position. She pushes him right back to the corner, and Sarin ends up on the wrong side of the equation so that both AK’s opponents are left stuck against the post; AK backs up, and then rushes forward for a crowd-storming Liger Kick. Righting herself, she sees Jack stagger out, and she uses a fast DDT to lay him out before turning her attention to Sarin, whom she views as the bigger threat.
McNally: The Champion’s on a roll, Eddie!
Edison: Yeah, but she’s better make it count – look who’s back…
As AK grabs on to Sarin and runs at the corner for the Fox Flip, Chance rolls back into the ring. He sees Jack slowly rising, but once again turns away; Sarin slams on the brakes and stops AK from completing her move, and then rams her head hard against the turnbuckle. AK yelps and stumbles, dazed; Sarin signals for the Rinkuza, and makes space before rushing forward… AK drops down and Sarin misses, but she reaches the ropes and bounces back, and drops into a slide that connects with AK while she’s crouched. With the crowd roaring, Sarin goes for the pin, 1…..2…- Chance rips her away at the last moment, and the fans boo loudly as he throws her into the corner. Then he makes the pin himself, and RAF counts again, 1…2…- AK somehow gets her shoulder up, chest heaving with the effort, and behind her Umeko grabs Sarin’s hair and pulls on it viciously. Sarin turns and tries to hit Umeko, but the Asian woman jumps aside and then slaps Sarin hard in the face; the crowd is becoming deeply angry, and they’re not the only ones. Jack is back on his feet, and though he still seems to be trying to avoic Chance, he has no such compulsion about his valet; he comes over boiling like a stormcloud, and raises his arm as if to strike Umeko. The woman on the outside shrieks; she looks afraid, but there is something else, almost as if she wants Jack to hit her. Chance turns…
…and sees Sarin lash out, her pride driving her to repay the deceitful slap from moments earlier. Everything that happens next is over in seconds; Chance is over by the ropes before anyone sees him go, and he grabs Sarin and throws her to the ground, punching her with a fury that no one has yet seen from him. Umeko smiles darkly; AK’s already moving, and seeing a woman being attacked, even one to whom he has no attachment, breaches Jack’s mental block; he and AK pull Chance away, but it’s like trying to hold on to lightning, or a whirlwind. Chance throws them both aside, hauls Sarin up, and stampedes across the ring before completing his running powerbomb, this time at full strength. He makes the pin, and Sarin has nothing left to give to this match as RAF (slightly reluctantly) counts the 1,2,3.
Philip: Sarin Rossi has been eliminated!
RAF halts the match at once, seeing that Sarin is not moving; he gives Chance a look that suggests he will personally sever his testicles if he tries to interfere, and the One Eyed man takes the hint and backs off. AK comes over and kneels down to see how Sarin is; Jack keeps his distance, his gaze shifting between the three people on the mat, and the sight of Umeko stroking Chance’s cheek and whispering to him, evidently keeping him focused on the job he has left to do.
After a few moments Sarin stirs, and she slowly gets up, determined to leave the ring under her own power. She departs through the ropes, and raises her arms up; the crowd all stand, and cheer her with all their might as she walks to the back, her dignity intact.
Once he’s satisfied that all is well, RAF calls things to order. AK takes a look at Chance, who has stood up tall and is flexing his muscles; she bristles with anger at his whole involvement in this match. The obvious route would be to attack right away… but AK has an altogether different idea. She turns away from him, and then moves purposefully toward Jack, and swings out a kick; Jack defends, and throws a punch back, causing AK to stagger just a little. Even though Chance is no more than a few feet away, AK keeps her back to him, and pays him not the slightest regard, a situation which is more than a little puzzling for Chance and his companion. Since he’s under attack, Jack does what comes naturally and gives as good as he gets, though he too is slightly at a loss to explain it. As the pair tie up, Edison scratches his head.
Edison: I don’t get it… surely Chance is the most dangerous person left in this match?
Max McNally watches closely. An idea is forming.
McNally: Don’t quote me on this, Eddie, but I think I know what’s going on here. Look at Chance, look at his face…
Edison looks, as do all the people at home who follow the instruction. Chance is starting to lose his cool…
McNally: Do you see it? Chance is being ignored, and he doesn’t like it… he’s just like a toddler who’s about to throw a tantrum. He thought he would dictate this match, but Conner and Atomic are just shutting him out.
Edison: Which means what?
McNally: Which means-

McNally doesn’t have to finish; Chance’s patience has expired and he charges at the two other wrestlers. Fury makes him blind to what’s about to hit him, and AK jumps and turns at precisely the right moment, smashing her knee into his jaw. Umeko screams in shock as Chance hits the floor, and AK drops to pin… except that she doesn’t. Instead, she just looks at Chance with a withering expression.
AK: Did you really think that any of your scheming would be enough to fool me? I have defeated far greater men than you will ever be, and so long as you continue with this ridiculous charade you have no place here. Now stand up and fight me like a true son of your father, or slink out the way you came…
There is almost complete silence. Chance looks across at Jack Conner, and they make eye contact properly for the first time in the match. Who can say what passes between them… all that the audience can know for sure is that Jack lowers his head, and turns away.
Chance looks as if he’s been thunderstruck; the moment endures just a little longer, and then without a word he slides out of the ring, as Umeko comes to meet him, pale faced. AK stands up, and faces Jack; the two look at one another, considering the point that has been reached…
Jack sees Umeko coming first; the Asian woman jumps into the ring, her face contorted with fury. RAF is quick to get in her way, and he firmly holds her back as she shouts and rages… so he doesn’t see Chance entering the ring from the opposite direction, sledgehammer in hand. He swings at Jack without the slightest hint of restraint, and the crowd screams as Jack collapses, blood starting to seep from a savage blow to the bridge of his nose. Dazed, Jack tries to defend himself as Chance kicks him over and over, pouring out his inner rage; AK attempts to draw him off but she’s physically drained and Chance shoves her down. He hits Jack in the side, and then aims the hammer at his left knee; Jack has no option but to roll to the outside, and he lies almost unconscious at ringside as Chance turns his attention to the other person in the ring…
AK is exhausted, but the threat of real danger mobilizes her emergency reserves of energy, and she catches the shaft of the sledgehammer as Chance attacks, knowing that she can’t lose the title by DQ. Extra officials are coming to assist RAF and Umeko has to end her protest; Chance, thirsting for the glory of the title and destroying the woman who has mocked him, casts the hammer out through the ropes in the nick of time. AK readies herself, for her condition has scarely improved; badly fatigued and up against an opponent she knows little about, she knows she’ll need everything she has left to stand any chance of staying conscious, let alone eliminate her opponent.
With Umeko now practically snarling at Chance on the apron, AK tries to stay on her toes and make it difficult for Chance to get close to her. It’s a battle she’s fated to lose, however, and Chance catches up, delivering a powerslam that shakes the entire ring. He kicks at AK’s ribs and AK grimaces in pain, but will not stay down; she gets up slowly, and as Chance moves in again she ducks under his arm and then jumps on to his back, locking in a sleeperhold. Chance staggers about, but follows the sound of Umeko’s voice; Chance backs toward it, and as they draw close the ever-resourceful woman produces a compact full of powder and blows it straight into AK’s eyes, with Chance’s bulk concealing the act. AK cries out and lets go, trying to clear the powder from her vision; Chance acts at once and elbows her in the head before whipping her into the ropes and executing a powerful spinebuster. The crowd winces, but continues to yell for AK to respond; she gets an arm up just before the 3 count, and though her eyes are streaming and red from the powder attack she rolls to the ropes and pulls herself up.
McNally: That’s guts right there, Eddie, the crowd recognizes it and so do I.
Edison: Count me in too, but how much further can someone go on that?

Chance looks cocky as he comes close, and it almost costs him dearly; AK spins into an EMP attempt, and Chance dodges it by millimeters. On the apron, Umeko yells at Chance to finish things, and Chance decides that he has indeed had enough; AK is about ready to drop, and with the crowd booing furiously, Chance lifts her up as high as he can and then drives all his energy into a sit-out powerbomb. The ring almost gives way under the stress, and Umeko applauds; she has moved around the ring, and without asking permission she picks up the World Title belt and holds it out to Chance as if it is already his.
She doesn’t see Jack’s bloody hand gripping the apron; the Outlaw pulls himself into a kneeling position and sees the scene before him. The sight of Umeko with the title belt fills him with anger; ACW was supposed to be a fresh start, a place to escape the mistakes of the past…
And Jack understands then that you can’t escape your past; the only way out is to face your errors, and try where you can to put them right. Jack sees then that this must start with the hardest step of all…
Clutching the sledgehammer, he starts to pull himself into the ring. Umeko sees this as RAF is making the count, 1…..2….thr- AK kicks out, and the crowd explodes with cheering, masking the sound as Jack shoves Umeko away from him, sending her into the metal protective barrier. Both AK and Chance catch sight of Jack as he enters the ring, and AK realizes that all she has to do is stay still; Jack looks like nothing will stop him until he’s taken Chance out of the equation, and his subsequent Disqualification will leave AK as the winner.
For reasons she doesn’t fully understand until later, AK rolls up on to her feet, takes a run at the ropes and jumps over, crashing into Umeko who is struggling back to her feet. The collision with metal makes RAF turn and he completely misses Jack in the act of belting Chance with the sledgehammer; the crowd roars, and as Chance stumbles, completely disorientated, Jack throws the sledgehammer aside and lifts his son up. He nails the Outlaw’s Hammer, and AK scrambles back into the ring; RAF turns and only sees the pin, and the fans erupt as Jack stays down to secure the 1…2…3.
Philip: Chance… er, whatever his name is has been eliminated!
The fans can’t cheer enough as Jack stands up; Jack, however, takes no pleasure in his actions, and AK leans on the ropes staying out of things as Chance groggily rolls out of the ring. Umeko is there to meet him; for a moment it looks as if they might yet return, but Chance is having trouble standing up straight, let alone launch a fresh attack. He and Jack stare at one another, and then Umeko leads him away; Jack almost seems to want to call out to him to stay, but there is still too much between them for any more than a somber parting. The crowd knows that there is still a great deal to discover about the two men… but all of that is for another day.
After all the excitement, the crowd could do with a nice cup of tea and a sit down, to use RAF’s own turn of phrase… but things are not quite concluded yet. Could this extraordinary night have one more surprise to reveal?

It’s a surreal moment for Jack Conner. Until this moment, he’s not really allowed himself the luxury of considering the possibility of winning the match, and Chance’s arrival only served to complicate things further. Now, though he’s tired enough to sleep on the spot, he is closer than he has ever been before to a major title… he chuckles a little at the thought, and at last allows that little spark of ambition that he’s held for so long to ignite.
Alicia rests with her hands on her thighs; this match has been so much more than even she anticipated, and she has been tested almost to destruction by a whole host of people who have excelled themselves in the ring. Now only one person stands between her and a famous victory… but it is a victory that even now could so easily be snatched from her.
McNally: What an amazing match, it’s had absolutely everything…
Edison: …and it’s not over yet!
The final clash between AK and Jack was never on the cards to be a drawn out affair; neither has much left to give to this contest, but they dig deep to find it now and AK starts strongly, laying into Jack with mid and roundhouse kicks. Jack fights to stay in his feet, and AK can’t quite bring him down; Jack gets close and lifts AK up, and her small frame makes this an easy task. Jack remembers the times as a young man when he did this to foes of all shapes and sizes, and for a few moments in his mind he is young once again… he elevates AK fully into vertical suplex position before bringing her down, and the crowd roars, enthralled by the magical touch of true and enduring talent. RAF is ready to count the pin, 1….2…. AK gets her shoulder up, and at once Jack starts to move, not withholding anything as he stands and begins to punch at his opponent. To AK, the significance of this is not lost, for she understands that Jack is approaching her as an equal, and she feels a strong sense of pride as she battles back, maneuvering Jack toward the corner.
As soon as Jack is far enough back, AK uses the ropes to jump up and hit him with a guillotine kick. The crowd yells, and AK takes a leaf out of Sarin’s book with a Tornado DDT; Jack is brought down, and at once AK goes for the corner, planning to finish things with the Ground Zero. She leaps up… but as she completes the rotation she sees Jack move, and the crowd yells AK smacks into the canvas. Jack pins at once, 1…2… - AK gets a shoulder up, and Jack pins again, 1…2…- AK kicks, and with a final determined effort she jumps up. She swings her foot up at breakneck speed for the EMP…
Edison: No! Conner blocked it!
Jack has indeed blocked the strike, but AK twists and jumps up to belt him with the other foot. Her opponent falls, and AK drops into the pin,1…2…- Jack’s arm comes up and the crowd is amazed. AK shakes her head and makes the pin again, hooking the leg, 1…2… Jack somehow responds once more, and now everyone is stunned. Slower than ever, both competitors rise; AK runs to the ropes and bounces off, going for the knockdown, and a second or so before they touch she sees Jack bracing as if for a lift…
Going on pure instinct, AK kicks up and handsprings over her opponent’s shoulders, thwarting the Outlaw’s spike that would certainly have ended the match. AK is so tired, and she is at a loss as to what to do… but then she remembers that Jack has a weakness, one that she must now exploit if she is to finally triumph.
She has only a moment to act, and as Jack is about to strike her down, AK uses a drop toe hold. Conner ends up on the mat, and AK quickly moves to his legs; she prepares the twisted figure four, and salutes to send the crowd berserk before falling back into the submission…
McNally: NAGATA LOCK!!
Edison: The left knee! Conner’s one real Achilles heel!
McNally: How can a knee be a heel?
Edison: .............
Indeed, AK has set up the hold to maximize pressure on the weak joint. Stranded in the centre of the ring, Jack fights with all his strength to escape, but a combination of blood loss and fatigue have left him too badly deteriorated to do so. With the pain increasing every second, Jack tastes the bittersweet tang of a glorious title match that just isn’t going to go his way… but he’s a strong man, and not purely in a physical sense. Knowing that he gave it his all, he finally chooses to submit with grace, and RAF waves his arms signaling for the bell.
Philip: Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner and STILL ACW World Champion, Alicia “Atomic” Kitsune!
If limbs had a Union, AK’s would be considered to be out on strike. She releases Jack from the hold, but that’s as far as she’s able to go for about 15 seconds. By the time she’s able to start getting up, RAF has located the title belt that Umeko dropped, dusted it down and is standing waiting to return it to her.
Alicia takes it, but does not hold it up; she first goes to Jack, and the crowd cheers as they shake hands. The pop is long as sustained as Jack Conner gets up on the turnbuckles, and salutes the crowd before making his exit with only a slight hobble in his step.
Only once Jack has taken his share of the plaudits does AK do the rounds; cameras flash all over the place, and AK smiles with a real sense of achievement as she holds up the belt. The crowd would probably have continued cheering longer… but then suddenly the Alphatron shifts to a dark shot, which can only mean one thing…
Her eyes remaining upon that picture, AK slides out of the ring and finds a spare seat next to Philip; for some reason she has a cold sweat on the back of her neck, and she doesn’t want to watch what is about to unfold alone in her locker room. Philip digs out the last of the cold drinks from under the ring and distributes them, and slowly the picture begins to brighten…

Everyone’s attention is riveted to the alphatron… and fittingly, we end as we began, in an undisclosed location somewhere in ACW’s home town…
Latino vs. Torak: The final Chapter…
With the end of the show surely now imminent, you begin to wonder…whatever happened to Latino and Torak? Just at that moment a camera crew manages to locate the basement area that their scuffle descended into just in time to witness the two exhausted, beaten, bruised, bloodied and broken enemies beginning to stir. They are both spread eagle on the cold, damp and slightly oily floor that broke their fall following their bump from the street through the cellar door above. There is hardly any light cast in the room, and what there is has been bombarded with dust particles. Wherever they are, the place hadn’t been used in a while.
Torak rolls over onto his stomach and tries to shake away the grogginess. He struggles up to his feet, almost collapsing into a nearby object that is hidden in the sheet of darkness. He doesn’t seem fully aware of himself just yet, nor is he aware that Latino is just a few inches away from him, still not moving.
Torak fumbles around the room, trying to map out his position and his location and possibly seeking out a light switch. He does not find a switch but he does find an object hanging from the wall. By touch he discovers it is a rod-shaped piece of wood with a warm rag on the end of it. He figures that it might be an old torch used to illuminate this very room. Unfortunately, he does not have any matches in his possession and so can not light the torch, though you half expect him to breathe fire onto it.
Another bout of blind fumbling turns up another find. A much smaller object with a metal casing. He manages to seemingly break it in half…but it turns out to be the lid coming away from a lighter. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what this was used for. He flicks it a number of times due to the apparent lack of gas inside it but eventually produces a flame. He quickly raises the light up to the torch and sets fire to the end which burns effortlessly, modestly illuminating the surroundings.
The lick of light against Latino’s eyelids acts like a cold bucket of water tossed over him. His eyes shoot open and he murmurs as he tries to recall where exactly he is. Torak hears the sound and turns 180 degrees so fast he almost catches whiplash. He surges over to the unsuspecting Latino and reaches down to grab him . He heaves him up before Latino even realizes what’s happening. Torak grabs him by the back of the head and launches him into the wall. Latino crashes into the brick wall hard which seems to wake him up upon impact. He drops to the floor but his elbow catches something on the wall. It is the unlit end of the torch that is resting against the wall.
The torch begins to fall as Latino and Torak watch on. It hits the floor with a crack and the flame smothers the floor. Almost instantly the oily floor erupts in flames in a pattern circling the pair in the room. With the light now spreading through the room they realize where they are. The dominating but now dusty throne sits near the wall and the presumably empty sarcophagus is housed in the corner. Torak looks down at the flames and notices they create a strange pattern that forms in an almost deliberate fashion. A path of flame leads to the sarcophagus, circling around it and illuminating the pattern etched on the front. Torak and Latino watch on with bemusement as this strange phenomenom occurs.
Suddenly, there is a creaking sound which garners the immediate attention of the two feuding rivals. They glare astonished at the sarcophagus that slowly begins to open. Torak turns his body toward it and tentatively approaches the container as the door eerily slides open. He prepares himself, never before has he had the pleasure or privilege to stand toe to toe with the man he expects to emerge. His eyes widen in wonderment whilst Latino shakes his head in dread, clinging to the wall in shock.
The door flies open completely and the darkness inside is enough to conceal anyone that maybe hiding. The flames roar mischeiviously high and fill the room with immense heat that causes Torak and Latino to sweat…or maybe they already were. There is a pause when finally…from inside the sarcophagus…out into the room of fire emerges…
GONG!
Torak’s and Latino’s hairs stand on end, almost allowing the fire to singe them. Finally it steps out…

A frightened, dirty and flea ridden rat rushes out of the sarcophagus, races through the maze of fire and eventually scurries out of the half-open door. Torak’s eyes follow the rat out of the door before turning to the nearby corner where he spots a rusty old gong laying on the floor. Above it dangles the singed rope from which it recently hung from, which explains for the sound heard just moments ago.
Latino decides to take advantage of this confusion and he pushes himself from the wall, using his momentum to tackle Torak from behind and push him out through the doorway into the corridor outside.
The doors slams shut behind them, trapping the raging inferno inside for now. Both men battle to their feet, exchanging right hands on their ascent. The narrow corridor doesn’t allow them complete free movement. They grapple at the shoulders and try to force each other into the surrounding walls. Unsurprisingly, Torak has the upper hand in this battle and quickly forces Latino into the hard wall back first. Latino manages to force himself away but Torak turns 180 degrees and forces him into the opposite wall. Latino tries to force himself away once more but Torak still has the power advantage and once again manages to knock him into the hard unforgiving wall. Latino begins to realize that this might go on forever unless he does something drastic soon. He notices a few feet away there is a stairwell.
Latino pushes himself away from the wall once again, allowing Torak to spin him into the opposite wall, edging closer to the stairwell. He shoves Torak again, forcibly attempting to get near the descending stairs. He’s practically opposite them now as he makes one last attempt. Torak swings him around and by the time he acknowledges the stairs it’s too late. Latino keeps a tight hold of Torak and the pair collapse down the stairs in a ball of pain, crashing together at the foot of the stairs.
They roll away from each other, both stunned by the painful fall. They both notice their new location…it’s the arena lobby where all the spectators enter. They very slowly get to their feet and are no longer able to stand up straight. They hurl lazy strikes at each other which send them staggering backwards.
As they continue to battle a door, not far from the stairwell, opens up and a figure emerges, unaware of the violent brawl raging outside. The man, apparently an ACW fan, wears a startled expression on his face, surprised by the close-up view he gets of this particular fight. He gets a closer view as Latino and Torak both wrestle each other through the door, barging the fan out of their way as they enter. Torak manages to judo throw his opponent to the floor and as he looks up he realizes where he is. Latino also now finds the new setting familiar.
They are now situated behind the fans in the arena and not far from the ring. Torak sets himself a new objective; Get Latino into the ring.
Simultaneously, Latino himself conjures up an idea. He decides to do all he can to reach the ring as he knows the give of the canvas in the squared circle will feel like a extra-thick mattress compared to the surfaces he’s been subjected to tonight.
Latino gets to his feet as Torak approaches. They begin to exchange blows again as the majority of the fans are now alert to their presence. The eyes watch on in amazement as these two keep going, even though they begun their fight at the beginning of the show. They edge closer to the sea of fans. Those on the outskirts try to back away and create as much distance between themselves and the two man war as possible.

Suddenly, a river of emptiness begins to run between the fans as they part in a scene resonant of a miracle. They begin to wade through this ‘river’ which winds as they stagger through it, delivering single shots to their foe as they make their way towards the ring which you feel will host the final moments of this extensive battle.
They final reach the barricade, but neither man seems to have the energy to climb over it at the moment. They resort once again to trading right hands slowly, almost as if in slow motion until Torak takes it upon himself to assist Latino over the barrier. In an ungentlemanly gesture he winds back and throws a thunderous clothesline Latino’s way, striking him in the sternum and knocking him over the barrier, drawing an “ooooh” from the on-looking crowd.
Torak swaggers on the opposite side to his rival before lazily climbing over the barricade and dropping down the other side. Latino and Torak and now back on ACW soil so to speak as they are in the wrestling aisle. Latino looks over at Torak and he stares back at him. The fans are on their feet cheering for the Latin King as they chant his name over and over again. Torak then lunges forward and kicks Latino in the stomach. He wraps his arms around Latino’s waist as he bends over and lifts him up for a brief second. He then drops him down on his knee. Torak does not let him go through as he stands and lifts Latino back up. He then rams Latino’s back into the turnbuckle steel post once….then twice…..and then third time. He finally releases the hold letting Latino’s bruised and abused body fall. Torak looks down at Latino and the fans start booing once again. The masked man grabs Latino once again by the hair and viciously stands him up and then whips him forward. He keeps a firm grasp onto Latino’s arm and pulls him back towards him. As Latino comes back at Torak, he lifts him up for a tilt-a-world slam. Latino counters the move in the mid-air maneuver with a head scissors that sends Torak across the outside mats. The fans let out a pop and Latino rolls against the mat and then bump into the steel steps. He leans against it as he feels his body is losing energy. Torak is getting back up as that move hasn’t truly slowed him down but only caused a detour for him. The fans continue to chant for Latino and he starts feeling a rush of adrenaline through his veins. He grabs the steel steps and pushes himself back on his feet. Torak slams a forearm across his back and Latino falls back down but continues to work himself back up. Torak then grabs Latino, but the Latin King punches him in the stomach. He then grabs Torak quickly before he can do anything by the hair and performs a jawbreaker. Torak stumbles back and Latino grabs the steel steps. This time he lifts them up and uses them as a battling ram. Latino runs at Torak and slams them into him face first. Torak stumbles back again and Latino rams it once again into face for a second time. He then drops the steel steps on the floor and steps on them. He jumps up and grabs goes for the Switch Blade Cut. Torak does not go down though as he grabs Latino by his shoulders and throws him down directly onto the steel steps. His shoulders slam into the steps and the impact echoes throughout the arena. The fans cannot help but wince as the replay is show from many different angles over the alphatron.
As the shot cuts back to Torak he’s already pushing Latino back inside the ring; the fans are going nuts, and only a few feet away, AK has to will herself not to get involved; she does all she can to keep out of sight lest she should distract Latino at the critical moment. As Latino rolls underneath the ropes, Torak grabs the ropes and pulls himself up onto the apron. He steps over the top rope and Latino is moving once again. He gets up to one knee and as Torak comes at him he jumps up moving back a couple feet. Latino then bounces back against the ropes and then dropkicks Torak on his right knee. He rolls to the side and kicks himself back up onto his feet. Latino does not hesitate to elbow smash and then throws one jab….and then another…and then a final one as he finishes off his shuffle jab combo. Latino then leans back and the lunges forward with a discus lariat. Torak does not fall down though. He only stumbles back a few steps and Latino looks at him with a bit of surprise. He quickly jumps up and dropkicks him in the face. Torak again stumbles back and Latino rolls backwards and is back on his feet in a blink of an eye. He then kicks Torak in the stomach and tries for a start of the Three Shots. Torak though is having no say in it and even if he did Latino’s arms see to be a little too worn out after tonight’s battle to fight any more. Torak pushes Latino back against the ropes. As he bounces off the ropes he goes for a hip toss on Latino, but it’s countered into a Switch Blade Cut that comes out of total surprise by everyone. Torak and Latino come down on the mat with the big man taking most of the damage. Latino then rolls over a couple times as his veins are rushing with adrenaline again. He stands up and slaps his chest a couple times as the fans all start cheering once again. Latino walks over to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs up top. He looks around to all the fans and then dives off for the frogsplash nailing it perfectly on Torak. Everyone waits for Latino to go for the cover but he doesn’t do so as he stands back up and climbs the turnbuckle once again. He looks to the right and then to the left as the fans are chanting “LATINO! LATINO! LATINO!” He dives off again and nails the frogsplash for a second time on Torak. He then hooks the leg on Torak and the Referee makes the count. . . . ONE! . . . TWO! . . . THREE!

Latino stands up and raises both arms up in the air. The Referee grabs one arm and officially declares him the winner. Latino then looks over at Torak with that trademarked smirk. He starts pointing at his mask and then looks around as the fans all yell out in unison “YES!”
Latino walks over and grabs for the mask but Torak immediately comes back to his senses as he feels what is happening and grabs Latino by the wrist. He twists it and then pushes Latino back. Torak grabs his face to make sure his mask is secure and then rolls under ropes desperately trying to get away. He steps backwards and keeps getting away from the ring, retreating until he is safely back in the shadows. Latino stands in the middle of the ring looking back still with that smirk on his face.
Disappointed as they are not to have seen Torak unmasked, the fans continue to cheer as Latino climbs up the turnbuckle and slams his chest with both arms. So exhausted is he that he slips and almost thumps backward on to the canvas… but fortunately someone is there to cushion his fall. Latino is surprised, and looks around to find himself gazing upon his wife.
The fans go all soppy as Latino and AK embrace; their reunion after being apart for what has seemed like an age is joyful to witness. Feeling no coolness of metal at the waist, Latino looks questioningly at Alicia, who bites her lip, and then inclines her head to the timekeeper’s corner where she left the World Title on the chair.
Only now is Latino’s happiness complete; he and Alicia can see only brightness in their future… but could the golden allure of the World Title in fact become the thing that will drive them apart?
Anyone who thought that the run to Omega Effect was going to be straightforward for anyone in ACW couldn’t be more wrong…
Fade to Black.
End of Show.
OOC: The street fight is jointly credited to Latino and Torak.
