Segment: Left Hand Suzuki Method (Credit: ??)
As we fade in, Kevin Anderson is approaching Ginger’s office. He looks into the camera as if he were a news reporter.
Kevin: We’ve just received word from an anonymous tipper that Mr. Aoyama from Triple A is meeting with Ginger once again. They’ve apparently been in there quite a while, could the supposed bank deal finally be coming to fruition? Could-
The door opens. Aoyama steps out. Kevin holds the microphone up to him as if to ask him something, but he simply walks on. Ginger then steps out.
Ginger: I’m sure you’re curious about that meeting.
Kevin: I’m not the only one.
Ginger: Then let me officially announce it right here, Kevin. I have indeed worked out a deal with Mr. Aoyama for him to manage the ACW accounts. He’ll get them in the next week or two. I hope this is the beginning of a new era for ACW!
Kevin: A blockbuster announcement! I hope you’ll keep us posted!
Ginger: Of course. But at the moment, I have some work to do. Find some other interview subjects, if you could.
Kevin: Right!
Ginger heads back into his office and closes the door.
Fade Out.

Segment: "Snake's Impact Debut" by Rattlesnake and Santiago
The lights fade to black. Two green spotlight shine across the fans and stop at the top of the entrance ramp. The spotlights quickly shut off shortly after. The fans boo instantly in the darkness. The words "Don't fear the reaper, fear the Rattler" echo throughout the arena followed by "Blind" by Silverchair. The spotlights flicker back on as a huge surge of green pyros blast off with a huge cloud of smoke. As the smoke clears, Rattlesnake appears in the spotlights. He slowly walks down the ramp and looks at the fans as he passes. He stops to look around and smirks. He slowly raises his arms to boos from the fans.
Philip: Now coming to the ring...the "Vision of Greatness," Rattlesnake!
Rattlesnake starts walking down to the ring again. As he inches closer to the ring, the arena lights slowly come back on until he reaches the steps. He walks up and steps into the ring. He walks past a couple chairs over the green canvas to the turnbuckle and climbs it. He looks around as flashbulbs continuously go off. He jumps down and walks over to one of the chairs in the ring. He grabs the mic and sits down.
Rattlesnake: Ladies and Gentlemen, the people in attendance here at Genocide, ACW stars in the back...I bring to you the debut of "Snake's Impact."
The crowd chants "Rip-off! Rip-off!" Rattlesnake looks around and sneers.
Rattlesnake: This show won't be a rip-off to what you see in the WWE. This show always has the balls to go where other people never imagined. This show will give you the "what if" scenario. What if this happened? What if you did this? That sort of thing.
Rattlesnake smirks.
Rattlesnake: Before I introduce my first guest, I would like to make an announcement as to who I have lined up as the second guest that I'll have on "Snake's Impact." Tonight, he fights in the Asylum for the ACW World Heavyweight Championship. He could very well be the Champion when he appears. That, of course, is Jonny Spade. But that's later. Now it's time to introduce my first guest. I wanted someone huge for this and I got someone huge. So, without further ado, here is the special guest on the initial edition of "Snake's Impact." He fights in the Ultimate X match later on, he is the ACW International Champion, Santiago Rivera!
"Click Click Boom" by Saliva starts to play as smoke liters the entranceway. Rivera slowly emerges with his International Title draped over his shoulder. He slowly walks down amongst many boos from the fans. He yells at a few fans and continues down to the ring. He looks at Rattlesnake as he walks up the steps and enters the ring. Rattlesnake signals to the chair and Santiago grabs the mic but doesn't sit down.
Rattlesnake: Well, well, well...the International Champion gracing the debut edition of "Snake's Impact." I'm pretty sure you know about the whole shtick of interview shows. The person running it, me, asks the questions and the other person, you, answers them. So let's get down to business, shall we?
Rattlesnake stands up and paces around the ring as if he were thinking about what to ask. He looks at Santiago and nods.
Rattlesnake: My first question for you Santiago is a simple one. How did your debut here fare out?
Santiago takes a minute to think about the question.
Santiago: Hmm, well just like you when I came to ACW, I set the standards, nobody else did for me. You, you came in here confident and you set the bar for yourself telling people what to expect from you. You stated that you were a former World Champion however I, was never one. I came to ACW with a big ol' smile upon my face. I can remember my debut as if it were yesterday. I came down in the middle of a match. Jake Cheng vs. Jearus. Jearus was smart and ran when he saw my physique, however Jake was dumb enough to stick around. I made an impact, tearing the current Light Heavyweight Champion limb from limb. The way you came in, and the way I came I feel are quite similar.
Rattlesnake nods, feeling satisfied with the answer.
Rattlesnake: I did come in and say exactly what I was going to do. I told everyone what to expect and so far, I haven't gone back on my word. But enough about me. My next question for you is just about as simple as the first. How do you attribute your current ascent to stardom in the ACW?
Rattlesnake stares at Santiago as he thinks of a response.
Santiago: Ever since joining the Senatorial Stable, I feel as if they have uplifted me higher. Ya know, they gave me that extra jolt to really spark my career up. I mean I would have reached this level sometime they just got me here faster. My rise to stardom also builds onto that, they got me going faster. Now, being International Champion for 79 days and still counting, the stardom just keeps growing. I'm known all over the country, no not be that jackass, by the unstoppable, Ironman.
Rattlesnake: So it was the Senatorial Stable that really got you going. I see. That brings me to my next question. You sit as part of the Senatorial Stable. How would you react if you were to be extridicted from the group?
Rattlesnake saw that threw Santiago for a loop. He anxiously waited for Santiago's answer.
Santiago: Phew, wow....umm if I were ever to be extricated from the Senatorial Stable I wouldn't know what to do. Probably go on a rampage and kick all of their asses, or see if the Untouchables had an available spot. Hehe, that'd be a spit in the face, but seriously, I've done so much for them, sacrificed so much for them and if that were ever to happen I believe the stable would just become weaker and weaker. Honestly, I feel as if I'm a pretty big pillar in the building which is the Senatorial Stable. Without me there the building would become weaker, it doesn't have me to support it and then eventually, crumble to ash and dirt.
Rattlesnake: You must think pretty highly of yourself with an answer like that. I'm not sure they would see it that way. I mean, after all, people can get replaced at the drop of a hat. It doesn't mean you're invincible since you've done so much for them. But let's break away from that. What's the one goal you have here in the ACW?
Santiago looks at Rattlesnake for a second and scoffs.

Santiago: What's one goal? Why would you even ask that? Everybody has the same goal. To win the ACW World Heavyweight Championship. My goal is to push myself to a level never seen before, go into the Fallen Heroes Battle Royale and eliminate 29 other men or women, go onto Omega Effect and challenge Hunter, who WILL walk out tonight still be the Champion, for that very title. Some day man, some day.
Rattlesnake laughs for a second, but then stops.
Rattlesnake: Santiago, you act like it's everybody's goal. I've come across people who's goal was to be the most entertaining star, not the World Champion. Not everyone has the same goal. Most people want the World Championship, but there are a few morons that would rather fart on a snare drum than be someone that is considered "good."
Rattlesnake pauses, thinking of his next question and smirks.
Rattlesnake: I've got just one more question for you Santiago. How's it feel to be in the presence of true greatness on Snake's Impact, the Vision of Greatness, Rattlesnake?
Santiago laughs.
Santiago: Heh cute, real cute. I think I should be the one asking you, how does it feel to be in the presence of the TRUE essence of greatness? The unstoppable, irresistible, Santiago Rivera? No, don't answer, I will. I will tell you how you and all of these people around feel right now. You feel overwhelmed. You feel happy, you feel safe. Because with me, you know nothing can go wrong.
Rattlesnake looks at Santiago. His smirk quickly leaves his face and his eyes widen. He takes a few steps toward Santiago. The fans chant for a brawl as Rattlesnake stands right in Santiago's face.
Rattlesnake: Yeah you say you're unstoppable. Let's just see how unstoppable you are tonight.
Santiago: Whoa. Tonight I will walk in International Champion and I sure as hell will walk OUT International Champion.
Rattlesnake: Well, rumor has it RDK's gonna kick your ass and take your title. After all, he's a 2-time ACW Champion and you...you said it yourself...you've never been a World Champion. They say you're just a transitional champion and nothing more.
Santiago: What? What the...What the HELL did you just say?
Rattlesnake: I know you heard me. You're obviously a smart person. But since you seem to have found a lapse in your short-term memory, I'll say it again. You're nothing more than a transitional champion.
Santiago: Heh, well I guess you could say I was just in the right place at the right time. BUT if that's true then I guess I'm the one TRANSITIONAL champion that nobody can seem to beat!
Rattlesnake: Yeah, we'll see about that. You try and keep that title as long as you can. Because soon the "Vision of Greatness," Rattlesnake will be around and when you least suspect it...WHAM!...I'll strike. And when I do, you'll have your own personal claim to fame. Oh, and I plan on taking that International Championship too. And for the record, I'm going to be in that Battle Royale too. You're going to have to go through me if you want to win.
Rattlesnake walks past Santiago, not taking his eyes off of him. He slowly walks up the ramp backwards, smirking as he passes the fans. As he reaches the stage area, he turns around and walks to the back.
Fade Out.

Segment: And this my friends....is the TRUTH! (Credit: BK, Senator)
Coming back from the break, the Senator is seen dashing down the hallway to his office. He quickly greets a number of random ACW crew workers before reaching to the Senatorial Stable Office. After entering his room his facial expression greatly changes to a shocked expression, the camera swings around and at his desk, biting into an apple with his feet on the desk, is ACW's own bad guy, BK London.
Senator: Excuse me, Mr. London, but is there a chance I could perhaps be of use here? If not, I would greatly appreciate it if you would vacate the premises, immediatly.
BK chuckles before taking another big bite into the red granny smith apple, much to the Senator's displeasure. Right after that, he chucks the apple into a waist basket and takes his feet off of the Senator's desk.
BK: Can you help me? Oh you can help me a great deal Senator, but tonight, I'm here to help you.
Senator: Help me? Perhaps my hearing is failing me in my "old age," but did I just hear you say that you are here to help me?
Suddenly the sound of a toilet flushing can be heard coming from his Senatorial restroom and soon enough BK London's recently appointed protege, Predator, walks out of the room wiping his hands with a paper towel.
Predator: This bathroom is great BK, urinal cakes smell great and everything.
BK: Let's focus on what we came here to do, Predator.
Predator: Yes sir.
BK: Now Senator, tonight you will participate in possibly the biggest match of your career, you are one of the 8 participants in the Asylum - going up for the ACW Heavyweight Championship. The richest prize in our business today. You have the chance to become the ACW Champion, a title that has eluded you for quite some time now... But I'm here to inform you that winning the ACW Championship could be the biggest mistake of your career - hell - your life Senator.
Senator: Biggest mistake of my life? Hmph, listen BK, I can see what your trying to do. And it will not work, as I am going to go in the Asylum and my main objective will not be to win the ACW title myself, but to ensure that Hunter retains, that is, unless we end up being the final two men standing, in which case, I will indeed make a good faith effort to gain the belt.
BK: Senator....Senator.....Senator, if I thought anyone would understand where I'm coming from it would be you. Come on, you haven't plotted out your future if you manage to win the ACW Championship?
Senator: I'm a busy man BK, I did not enter this match of my own accord, and have not the time to ponder the trivialities of ACW right now, but...
BK: Really? Do tell.
Senator: Mr. London, I really have no idea why we are having this conversation, but I have my own goals for the future, and for now, I wish to help Hunter keep the title. He, unlike myself, has the time to properly prepare and defend the title. Should I defeat the odds and win it myself, though, I feel that I would make an excellent champion, honorably defending the title in the tradition of the old-time champs. I did not want to compete here, but for now, I have no choice, and will put my full effort into this match.
BK: Senator, you have to think past that, man. I know you have your goals and aspirations for whenever or really, if you win the title, but really think about it. Take it from me, a person who has held the ACW title before. It's one thing to win the ACW Title, but it's another thing to hold onto it and defend it when you do so, everyone's eyes is on your prize - leaving you as a marked man in ACW. And people are going to want to collect that bounty you hold Senator, the bounty simply referred to as your belt.
Senator: I think that I do have the abilities and the capacity to manage that situation, BK.
BK: Can you really, Steve? You have to remember that you're not just the Senator, that lovable technical wrestler, but away from the ring, you're Steve Phillips, the 39 year old Senator still involved with politics. During you reign you will be on the card just about every show, going night through night - going from city to city perhaps - in pain because of the numerous amounts of matches and your skilled opponent. How will the people of Illinois see you - or even how will the political community view you - as you're unable to keep a hold on everything in order because your injured? Doesn't look too bright, does it?
Senator: But, really, I do not...
BK slams his open palm on the table.
BK: Illinois deserves better, Senator Phillips! You...deserve better. Your going into your forties, Steve, your time as an in-ring general is slowly fading away and soon you won't be able to wrestle anymore. Steve, please, do yourself a favor - do these people a favor - do your loyal fans and supporters a favor - and just...give it up. Think about it, Steve, while you’re locked in that ring surrounded by plexi-glass, just think about it. Do you really want to sacrifice your political career just for...a leather strap embedded in gold? Hell, you don't even sound like you want to win it! The choice is yours, Steve...and now that I've said that, let's go, Pred.
Senator(muttering to self): About time...you know, as much as I hate to admit it, he is right on some counts though...but I am not going to give up, not now, not with Ginger breathing down my neck with legal matters...
Both BK and Predator exit the room simultaneously, leaving Senator thinking. He has a great inner conflict to deal with, as well as a physical battle in the ring tonight. Will he overcome the odds on both ends, and political fatigue to achieve his goals? Only time will tell.
Fade Out.

Segment: Breaking and Entering
With more interruptions dealt with, it’s time for AK to take up the twisting tale…
Alicia moves as quickly as she can through the rapidly deteriorating town; the situation is getting worse by the minute, and the sound of shattering glass slices through the cold night air from all directions. In the chaos she has difficulty keeping track of the two young men ahead of her, and suddenly she realizes they’re gone. Breathing hard, Alicia tells herself not to panic.
AK: Calm down, and think. This town isn’t large, there are only so many places they could be…
She looks around her, and then the answer becomes obvious.
AK:….”Conversion”, that’s what he said. I bet there’s only one place in this town that’s equipped to handle that task…
Her eyes alight on the Smiths’ house almost at once, and the many lights on inside confirm her suspicion. She starts toward it purposefully, but then slows, and ducks behind a tree. She looks at the house again, and can see several shadows moving around behind the blinds.
AK: This isn’t going to be easy. I need some sort of edge, but what?
She runs her hands over her upper body; she’s wearing the same clothes that she left the arena in, for there was no time to stop to collect anything else. All she has is what she stands up in-
No, wait. She does have something else… her kit bag, still in the car she and Hunter arrived in. Gradually, an idea surfaces in her mind- it’s a long shot, but it might just help her to survive what’s about to happen…
Knowing she has little time, Alicia breaks cover and runs toward the edge of the town to collect what she needs to execute her plan.
-----------------
The young man stationed in the hall is a little bored; in the main sitting room of the house he can hear some of his colleagues reassuring the Unconverted that everything will be ok. He’s never been much of a talker, and so finds it easier to stay away during these periods of time. He tries to remember when he was in their shoes… but the memories are too faint for him to properly recall, and he returns to tracing the patterns on the carved stair banister with his eyes-
His reverie is pierced by the sound of the doorbell. Quizically the young man looks at it, not sure if he imagined it or not – but no, there it is again. He frowns; no one is supposed to visit the house while a conversion is in progress… but then an alternative thought strikes him, perhaps Mr. Smith has returned without a key. Spurred by this, he hurries over and opens the door at once.
??: Good Evening.
The young man does a double take at the figure in front of him; the woman is entirely clad in white from head to toe, wearing clothes of a kind he’s never seen before. He continues to stare, trying to make sense of things, until the woman speaks again.
AK: I’m sorry to trouble you, but is Eric here please? I need to speak to him.
Her good manners elicit an equally polite, if firm, answer.
Young man: I’m afraid that won’t be possible right now.
The woman nods, and smiles at him; he smiles back.
AK: I understand-
Her movement is too swift for the man to track; she grabs the back of his head and smashes it against the exterior of the door. He slumps to the ground, and AK steps carefully over him to enter the house.
AK: But I must insist. Now, then…
She scans the interior of the hallway, noting the features that Hunter revealed in his explanation of his previous visit; the long curving stair, the chandelier, the pictures on the left wall and the door to the dining room, and on the right the door to the sitting room. The voices in the sitting room have been silenced.
??:…..Paul? Is everything all right out there?
The second young man’s voice is calmer than AK would have expected of a normal person, and she is on her guard as she slips along the line of the wall to wait just outside the sitting room door. After a few seconds, the second man steps out, looks left, and sees his fallen friend.
Second man: What the…?

Post by Alicia "Atomic" Kitsune on Mar 25, 2006 15:48:34 GMT -5
He hurries out with a concerned look on his face, and runs straight into a hard kick kick to the abdomen. He gasps and doubles over, and AK launches a full power back kick at his head. It’s lights out as the young man hits the floor, landing at the feet of another two who have come to investigate what’s going on.
AK knows there’s no chance now of concealing her presence; as the two men rush her she gets a hand to the stair banister and athletically swings herself up and over it to avoid them. The pair run around to the foot of the stairs, and AK backs away, assuming a defensive position. Believing they have her on the retreat both men come up toward her, and AK shows them the error of their assessment by dodging a punch from one man and mule kicking the second as she does so, sending him tumbling down the stairs. The remaining man is more accurate with his second punch, and AK reels from it for a second, for he is unnaturally strong for his size. Her survival instincts kick in, however, and she jumps up to stand on the banister for a second before sliding down it as if grinding a skateboard rail. She takes a flying leap from the post at the bottom and grabs the chandelier, swinging back and forth on it as the remaining man hurries back down the stairs to where his friend is struggling back to his feet. As they stand up and try to work out what to do, AK builds her swing to its peak, making light dance all over the hallway and lets go, performing a full 360 rotation with twist to crash into both men at once and bring them down.
The impact of the wooden stair to their heads knocks out the two men, and AK gets up and dusts herself down. She looks toward the sitting room, and notices that it is still strangely quiet. Approaching slowly, she is able to look inside, and sees the eight remaining youngsters sitting at various places. Their expressions are fixed, and they look scared. Are they scared of her, or…
One of them lets their gaze shift to the right for a millisecond. This gives AK the tipoff she needs; as she steps into the room the remaining “guard” lunges at her, swinging a heavy candlestick. AK drops and rolls to avoid it, and the silence is broken as the youngsters cry out in confusion and alarm at the sudden violence. Using her superior speed, AK jumps over one of the couches, forcing the young man to go the other way around; as they meet, he clubs AK in the side with the candelabra and then tries a head shot, but AK ignores the pain and blocks, grabbing on to the candlestick. They fight for control of it, and the young man is the stronger- but before he can wrest it fully out of AK’s grasp, AK pivots and uses the power of her whole body to swing the young man around and straight into a large glass-fronted cabinet. There is an almighty crash, and the carcass of the cabinet falls on to the man as he drops, trapping his unconscious form.
AK rubs her arm and looks around; everything seems frozen… but then she hears more footsteps, faint but getting louder. She moves rapidly to the door and locates the sound as coming from a door set into the stairs… it must be the door to the basement. AK snatches a large, heavy carved ornament from a shelf and takes a deep breath, for she knows this must be Peter. As she moves into position, his voice comes through the door.
Peter: What is going on? I am about to commence the most delicate part of the procedure and I must concentrate. Are the other children being cared for?
There is no reply. AK crosses her fingers…
Peter: Mr. Hunter, is that you? I cannot allow you to-
The door flies open, and Peter springs out with incredible speed; he swings a fist into the side of the stair and AK just barely manages to duck. Wood splinters at the impact, and on impulse AK slams the ornament straight into Peter’s forehead, knowing this may be the only chance she gets. But fortune is with her, and Peter falls to the floor with a thud, his eyes glazed.
Silence returns; the youngsters seem too shocked to react to what has just happened, until a girl starts to cry. Realising the situation could deteriorate, AK holds up her hand, and the girl stops crying, reacting to the authority that AK is displaying. One of them finds a voice.
Boy: Who…are you?
AK looks at him quietly; her answer surprises even her.
AK: I’m something that doesn’t exist. At least, not in this world. One of your number called me forth, to do battle with fear itself…
AK shakes her head and feels light headed for a moment. How did she come out with something like that?... but there is no time to think further. All eyes are on her as AK tries to think of a gentle way to break the news… but honesty is all she can rely on now.
AK: All of you… there isn’t time for me to explain, but bad things are happening, the people in this town have been deceived by the man you call Mr. Smith and now there is a great deal of anger here.
No one says anything; the youngsters all look pale.
AK: I can’t tell you what to do, you’re going to have to decide that for yourselves. If you look for your families, be very careful, for they may no longer be the people you knew. But you have not yet been exposed to the chemicals that are causing all this, so if you can, I urge you to leave here by any means available-
There is a murmur of confusion from those assembled. One of the boys speaks.
Boys: …leave? But we’ve never been outside Gehenna. We belong here.
Nodding and words of agreement follow. AK shakes her head, and looks them all in the eye, one by one.
AK: You belong to no one and nothing but yourselves. Stay if you wish, but this town is dying, and you will die with it.

The youngsters seem shellshocked; the girl who was crying before starts up again, and another girl tries to comfort her. But then, without warning, there is a crash as a brick comes hurtling through the front window, and all the youngsters scream. Outside, there are silhouettes with what look like improvised torches. A hollow, twisted man’s voice is heard shouting.
Man: Burn it! BURN IT ALL!!
Mass panic threatens to erupt, so AK yells over the rapidly increasing noise from ioutside.
AK: All of you, out, now! Through the back door!
The stampede is immediate; the youngsters trample the bodies in their way as they struggle to get out. AK lets them get on with it, for she has more pressing business; stepping over Peter, she hurries down the stairs into the basement…
It looks exactly the same as Hunter described it, and just as terrifying. AK approaches carefully, and winces as she sees that Eric has had his tooth removed… but the formidilosus syringe is still lying unused upon the table, and Eric is struggling without much success to free himself. When he sees Alicia, tears well in his eyes, and they run down his cheeks as she releases him from the chair. As the last bond is undone, he jumps out of the chair and hugs her.
Eric: You’re all right! They said, they said…
AK lets him hold her, and despite the fact she’s been calm throughout all of this, the realization that Eric is more concerned for her own safety than his own comes as a shock. She has to take a moment and pull herself together before they part.
AK: Yeah, well it takes more than that to stop me in my tracks. Now come on, we have to get out of here right away.
Eric just nods, and they run up the stairs two at a time. As the door opens, AK can see that torches have been flung into the house, and it’s starting to catch light; a couple of the young men she defeated earlier have gone, most likely having awoken and staggered out to save their own skins.
The others are stirring, and AK decides that they’ll have to take their chances. As she and Eric hurry toward the door, AK glances back into the sitting room and stops for a moment.
Eric: What is it?
AK: The wall…
They both look at it, and see that it is covered with what appear to be ancient reproduction weapons from various lands. Eric has no idea what to make of it, having barely even heard of such things.
AK: …a man who scorns religion but keeps pictures of deities and demons, and who renounces violence but displays blades… this entire town is a mass of contradictions.
The flames are starting to take hold, so there is no time for further consideration; the two run out of the door into the street. AK starts toward where the car was left, but Eric pulls in the other direction.
Eric: We can’t leave! Not without my family…please!
AK looks at him, and can tell at once that there’s no point in arguing this. She lets Eric lead as he runs down the street, heading for his home.
It will only be after all this is over that AK will deduce that this must have been when Peter, having overheard everything, abandoned his pretence of being unconscious. He must have looked out of the broken window of the Smith house and seen his world crumbling all about him… and then silently taken down the katana from its position on the wall…
Fade.

Match 5: ACW Entertainment Title - 30 Minute Iron Man Match Jonny Omega vs. Tornado (Credit: WeDrag) The fans are prepared for the next match. An Entertainment title match that will go on for a minimum of 30 minutes, as Philip enters the ring.Philip: The following contest is the 30-minutes Ironman match, and is scheduled for one fall! Coming first to the ring, the challenger, weighing at two hundred and thirty five (235) pounds, from Hartlepool, England….Jonny Omega! The fans cheer as the lights fade out, with two sole green spotlights on top of the arena shining out the ‘Omega’ Greek symbol. The flash around the arena, as ‘The Bitter End’ by Placebo hits and Omega comes out to the stage to a mighty pop. He begins to walk down to the ring, slapping the fans’ hands as he makes his way down the entrance ramp. He gets onto the apron and strikes a short pose, before entering the ring. This match will test his ability, especially since he is relatively new in the fed, but only time will be able to tell if he has what it takes to win.Philip: And a representative of the Untouchables, weighing in at two hundred and twenty (220) lbs, from Oldham, England….He is the ACW Entertainment Champion, Tornado! ’Bring Da Ruckus’ hits and the fans immediately jeer as the lights again go out, and a pyro explodes on top of the ramp, with Tornado walking through as the lights come back on. He sprints down to the ring, holding the Entertainment title across his waist, and jumps onto the apron. He flips forward into the ring, as a set of pyros explode on the outside. He then climbs onto a turnbuckle and shows off, as a timer appears on the bottom right hand corner of the screen reading ’30:00’. He jumps off the turnbuckle and hands the belt to an official on the outside, before standing face-to-face with Omega.Bell Rings. The timer begins to count down as the two step back away from each other, and walk away to an opposite corner each. They then step forward again, both slightly crouched over into a wrestling stance. They both feign movement towards each other, with the other wrestler always prepared and giving a precautionary dodge of the shoulder. Jonny goes for an open hand punch, but Tornado ducks it completely, placing his arm in the air as a block, but they don’t connect. They continue circling the ring, with the psychological battle not yet being won. They both grin as they rob their fingers into their palms, and place them out to each other. But as Omega goes to lock in a front grapple hold, Tornado backs away, smirking. The two have not yet even touched each other, but Tornado already has the psychological point. Shame it doesn’t count for a proper point however, as the two finally lock up for proper. Tornado slips behind Jonny and locks in a waistlock. Jonny tries to struggle away, and hits Tornado’s arms with his fists in attempt to break the hold. Tornado does so, but appears to do it out of his own will, as he whips Jonny at the ropes. Tornado hits an arm drag into and overhead Armbar, but Jonny is quick to escape, spinning around and whipping Tornado at the ropes. Tornado tries to hit a clothesline out of desperation, but Jonny goes under the arm and behind Tornado, hitting a huge German Suplex. He makes the first cover of the match, but Tornado manages to get a shoulder up before the second count. The two get to their feet, with Omega reaching there before Tornado. He runs forward and catches Tornado around the head, hitting a tornado DDT. Jonny gets to his feet, determined to win the belt as he picks Tornado up. He places Tornado in the corner, and gives him a couple of knife edge chops to the chest, causing a reaction from the fans. Jonny then tries to lift Tornado to the top turnbuckle, but Tornado resists and eventually forces Jonny away with a couple of kicks to the stomach. Tornado runs beyond Jonny and off the ropes, and as Jonny turns Tornado plants him with a rapid roundhouse kick combo in the stomach area. He hits about four of these kicks, and finishes off with a hook kick. Jonny stumbles to the floor, and Tornado smirks a little before lifting him up. Tornado lifts him into a position so that Jonny is doubled over, and he gives Jonny a couple of elbows to the back of the neck. Tornado then tries an Irish whip, but Jonny reverses it into one of his own. Tornado flies at the ropes, and Jonny takes him down with a Yakuza Kick. Jonny lifts Tornado up and places him in between his legs, hooking the arms and delivering a backbreaker. He covers Jonny, sure of getting the first fall in the match, but once again Tornado kicks out, this time just after the count of two. Jonny slams the mat in frustration, as he lifts Tornado up and delivers another powerful move, a pendulum backbreaker, which again takes a toll on Tornado’s back. Jonny is slowly getting the crowd going again, who are sure of seeing a new Entertainment champion by the end of the night. Tornado is on the ground, and holding his back with his right arm. Jonny tries to capitalize on this, and he grabs Tornado by the legs, and locks him into a single leg crab. Jonny has a grin on his face as he elevates the move almost into a single leg lion tamer, and there seems no option but for Tornado to tap out. But instead of taking the coward’s way out, he scrambles towards the nearby ropes, and gets a hold of them with moderate ease. Tornado then slips under the ropes and to the outside, taking a breather with the fans jeering him on as he walks around the ring, with the ref making his count.

The ref doesn’t get very far, as Tornado quickly re-enters the ring. But he’s unable to avoid Omega, who catches him and gives the Entertainment champion a couple of elbow shots to the back, as Tornado is still on the ground. Jonny lifts him up and throws him at the ropes, catching him by the leg, and hitting the Fisherman’s Suplex. Jonny then tries to link the move up with a Texas Cloverleaf, but Tornado fights back and kicks Jonny in the back of the leg, which forces the move off. Tornado then slides to the ropes and picks himself up, dusting himself off. Jonny is recovered again and runs at Tornado, but Tornado responds with an arm drag. Jonny gets up and Tornado hits a second. The momentum in the move forces Jonny back to his feet, and Tornado again hits him with another arm drag. He then leaps up at Jonny and takes him down with a Spinning Scissors Kick, and then manages to instantly hit a standing corkscrew Moonsault. He has the cover, but Jonny grabs the ropes before the third count, much to the annoyance of Tornado. Tornado gets up off the floor and starts questioning the ability of the referee, who holds his arms up, but Jonny hits back with a takedown from behind. Jonny then tries locking in the Elevated Crab, but Tornado refuses to allow him to turn around, booting him in the face. As Jonny falls away, a little groggy, Tornado bounces off the ropes and hits the Cyclone Driver (Sunset Flip Piledriver). He makes the cover:
1
2
3!
Philip: We have the first pinfall of the tie, and Tornado has made it 1-0! There are 19-and-a-half minutes remaining…
The timer continues as we have a 15-second pause, to allow Tornado and Jonny to recuperate. Jonny is still feeling the effects of Tornado’s finisher, but is able to get to his feet, as the crowd chant a ‘let’s go Jonny’ chant.
The two are ready to continue, and lock up. Jonny, being the stronger of the two, forces Tornado to the ropes. Jonny gives him another hard slap to the chest, before bundling him over the ropes. But it’s a very Mick Foley-style bundle, and the two both end up on the outside. The referee begins a count, as Tornado and Jonny get to their feet and begin to brawl on the outside, near the announcer’s table. They exchange blows as the referee makes his count, but neither takes any notice of him. Tornado gets the upper hand, able to get a maximum combo of three punches in, before Jonny responds with a furious expression on his face, unleashing several powerful forearm strikes to the face. Tornado falls to his knees due to the intensity of each strike, as Jonny pauses only to roll in and out of the ring, to restart the count. He then points to the floor, and pulls off one of the protective mats, exposing the cold, hard concrete underneath. But Tornado spears Jonny to the ground, taking advantage of him not being concentrated. Tornado unleashing some punches to Jonny’s head, but Jonny throws him off. Jonny then quickly gets to his feet, booting Tornado in the gut, and delivers a pulling piledriver onto the cold concrete. The fans go nuts as Jonny hits the move, but the move also takes a lot out of himself, combined with Tornado’s assault before as the referee continues his count:
5…
6…
7…
Jonny tries to get up and go to the ring, but Tornado half-knowingly grabs hold of Jonny’s foot, avoiding him getting to the ring.
8…
9…
Jonny kicks Tornado in the face, but it’s too late as the referee makes ‘10’. There’s a ring of the bell, and there’s some confusion over the face of Jonny. Philip is also confused, not knowing if that counted as a fall to both members, or not as a fall to either members. But the ref waves his arms as if signaling for ‘no foul’ in real football, saying that the fall doesn’t count towards the end-of-match tally. He then checks both wrestlers, and starts his count again. Jonny is still a little confused here, but manages to roll into the ring, and earn himself a much-needed break. Tornado is now up to his knees, and he crawls over to the ring. He slides inside, and the referee can finally end his count. Jonny makes a cover on Tornado, but Tornado kicks out before three. Jonny looks a little bit pissed off as he climbs to his feet, but suddenly Tornado winks to the camera, and grabs Jonny by the tights. He rolls Jonny up into a schoolboy, and makes the cover, and unseen to the referee he places his feet on the ropes:
1
2
3!
Philip: Tornado has scored the second pinfall! With 10 minutes remaining in this match, the score is now 2-0 to Tornado!

A bell rings as Tornado slides out of the ring, whilst Jonny gets to his feet, furious at both the referee for not noticing Tornado’s cheating, and Tornado for cheating. He looks at Tornado, who does a title belt mock as the 15 seconds are up, and he slides into the ring.
Jonny looks really furious as Tornado climbs back into the ring. The two lock up, but Jonny shows his more aggressive side, booting Tornado into the ribs, before sending him to the ropes. Jonny doubles over and Tornado tries to capitalize with the Cyclone Driver again, but Jonny catches him and hits a huge Spinebuster. Jonny then climbs the top turnbuckle, and hits a Frog Splash, and the fans begin to cheer him on as he looks to get back into the match. He lifts Tornado to his feet, and throws him at the ropes. He tries another spinebuster, but Tornado manages to jump over Jonny’s head, and hit him with a swinging neckbreaker. The momentum suddenly slows down as both men try to get to their feet, but the sudden surge of energy by both has taken a lot out. Jonny for example at this point is running purely off adrenaline. Both men get to their feet, and Jonny hits a snap suplex on Tornado. He climbs off, and gets up to his feet. He slowly climbs to the second rope, but his several pauses means that Tornado comes over and hits the ropes, causing Jonny to fall in between the turnbuckle. Tornado then climbs up alongside Jonny, and lifts him up to the top turnbuckle. He proceeds to hit a huge Superplex, which moves the ring. Both men are down, and the ref is forced to make a count again. As he gets to the count of 7, Tornado is slowly at his knees, but falls down on top of Jonny:
1
2
Kickout by Jonny!
Tornado rolls off Jonny, in clear pain, but thinks about the Entertainment Title, and knows he can’t stop here. He gets up to his feet, and lifts Jonny up. He hits Jonny in the stomach and gives him a standard DDT. Tornado rolls Jonny onto his back, and begins to climb the turnbuckle. But he’s still hesitant in his moving, and this allows Jonny to slowly pick himself up with the aid of the ropes. Tornado still has his back to the ring, and doesn’t know of Jonny’s recovery, so is surprised when he turns over his shoulder to see Jonny on his feet. Jonny punches Tornado hard in the stomach, and lifts the champion onto his shoulders. He then hits the Omega Factor (F5 into RKO), and there’s a large pop as he hooks Tornado’s leg, and the referee makes the pin:
1
2
3!
Philip: And Jonny Omega has pulled one back! With 6 minutes to go, the score is now 2-1!
The fans again get behind Omega as he picks himself up and rests at a turnbuckle. Tornado slowly gets to his feet and rests in the turnbuckle opposite. With such importance on the line, the two know these last few minutes will be the most important.
The bell rings once again, and Tornado leaps out of his corner, but this proves to be a mistake, as Jonny Omega ducks the intended clothesline, and locks in the Cobra Clutch. The fans begin to go nuts again as Jonny shakes Tornado slowly to each side a couple of times, but Tornado stays on his feet. Omega continues to shake Tornado left and right and forwards and backwards, but Tornado shows little signs of fading as the timer slowly ticks away. Jonny continues applying pressure into the hold, locking Tornado’s arm further, and that appears to be the killer move, and Tornado slumps to his knees. There’s a cheer from the crowd as this happens, and Jonny shouts towards the crowd, who encourage him on. Tornado appears to be fading away quite rapidly, and the referee decides to stop it now and lifts the arm of Tornado. If the arm drops, Jonny will get the fall…

He lifts the arm…
Drops it…
It slowly falls…
Continues falling….
But suddenly, Tornado pulls his arm up, showing what little energy he has left. Jonny looks to the titantron, and notices he has two minutes to go. He can’t keep his patience, and releases the hold, immediately grabbing Tornado by the legs and locking in a Texas Cloverleaf. The fans cheer again, as Jonny applies as high of an angle as he possibly can. Tornado is literally screaming as Jonny puts on a lot of pressure to the hold. He only has about 90 seconds to hold on, but that’s not the easiest of tasks to perform. Jonny has the hold locked in so tight that it’s impossible for Tornado to break it. Jonny screams out, with the fans on the edge of their seats, anxiously hoping that Tornado ends up tapping out, and that the match would go into sudden death. Jonny keeps applying extra pressure to Tornado at set intervals, and that back of Tornado wastes away with each second. There’s about 30 seconds remaining, The referee looks at the titantron, and then closely to see if Tornado is going to tap. Tornado has his hand ready to tap, but he refuses to go, and screams again as Jonny continues applying as much pressure as possible. The fans are getting impatient, hoping that Jonny can pull it off, as we co into the final 15 seconds. Each second feels like an hour to Tornado, but they feel like nothing to Jonny. We go into the final ten seconds, and Philip makes a count down to the final bell.
10…
9…
Jonny screams again, shouting ‘TAP, DAMNYOU!’
8…
7…
Tornado screams loudly, and raises his hand in the air, ready to tap…
6…
5…
4…
Tornado is about to place his hand on the ground, but pulls it up at the last moment.
3…
2…
Tornado then slams his hand slowly down to the mat…
1…
*Bell rings*
And Tornado taps out a nanosecond after the bell. Jonny releases the hold, and the place quietens as Jonny falls to the floor, completely drained of energy.
Philip: Here is your winner at a score of two to one, and STILL Entertainment champion, Tornado!

The final ring bell ends a very hard fought match between Tornado and Omega lasting a grueling 30 minutes. Tornado raises his arm in victory and is handed his Entertainment belt, raising that in the air as well as the fans begin to boo. Tornado ignores the reaction and is seemingly set on his successful defense of the title. Omega has made his way back up the ramp by this time as Tornado gets on the turnbuckle and poses even more. The string of boos continues until suddenly the lights are cut off and the arena remains almost pitch black. The combination of flashes from fan photography creates enough light for them to witness Tornado lose his balance on the top rope and fall back in the middle of the ring. The Alphatron begins to static up and reveal the familiar cryptic message of “KUDA, pray…” one more time as red lights begin to swirl and take over the arena. Accordingly, red gas begins to formulate on top of the ramp and a heavy metal remixed theme begins to play as Tornado is left alone in the ring, a little bit surprised, a little bit confused, and a little bit scared.
Maxwell McNally: 3-25-06 was the date on those video messages Eddie, we’re about to see who’s behind this all… “Fast” Eddie Edison: Could it really be Kudo? And where’s this red gas coming from?!
The gaseous smoke is now coming up from underneath the ring and surrounding Tornado, preventing him from leaving the ring.
All attention starts to turn to the top of the ramp now and the pictures are flashing like no other as out of the cloud of red walks a man of average height with an R-3 flag over his head. The flag covers all of the man’s face and leaves only a sliver of space to see. The only other things visible at this point are the red pants and wrist band. The man’s fingers are taped, some taped together, and it becomes clearer as the man begins walking down the ramp. The fans are ecstatic, wondering who exactly this is, but assuming it is Kudo based upon the R-3 flag.
Maxwell McNally: He’s wearing an R-3 flag Eddie, this KUDA character must be Kudo. “Fast” Eddie Edison: Yeah and he’s wearing it over his face, not over his shoulders like he usually does.
The man slowly walks up the steps and through the ropes, careful not to knock off the flag around his face. Tornado has gotten to his feet at this point, gaining enough courage and breath back to confront the man in front of him. The two men in the ring look on towards each other for a while, as Tornado shifts his neck to try and get a view of the face inside the little space open in the flag. The lights have come back on by this point and the red smoke is slowly fading away.
Maxwell McNally: And here it is, the moment of truth, who exactly is under that flag? Is it Kudo?
Tornado begins to yell inaudibly at the man but is cut off as he pulls the flag off from his face in one quick motion without hesitation, revealing a young lightly bearded individual in an obscure red and silver mask, no doubt the man from the image shown on Warfare. Tornado and some of the fans jump back at the unexpectedness of the situation but before Tornado can put two and two together, KUDA sprays a mixture of both red and black poison mist into the eyes of the Entertainment champion. KUDA begins to unleash kick after kick, the sound of each thrust echoing out clearly into the already loud PPV arena. Tornado is sent into a corner, dropping his Entertainment belt along the way. KUDA doesn’t let up the kicks and continues to batter and assault Tornado, not hesitating on any of the strikes.
Maxwell McNally: My goodness those kicks are hard. “Fast” Eddie Edison: Dangerousss! I don’t think there’s any doubt now that that’s Kudo, but still, I’ve never seen Kudo throw strikes quite like that!
KUDA finally stops the onslaught and Tornado is all but knocked out from this attack following the 30 minute match he has just had. KUDA pulls Tornado from out of the corner and throws him into the middle of the ring. Much of the mist has been absorbed back onto the leg of KUDA following some stiff strikes to his face, and Tornado is left helpless. KUDA takes a look at the Entertainment belt on the side and picks it up. By now, staff officials and minor referees begin to rush down the ramp and into the ring, trying to stop KUDA. He does not hesitate to start throwing forearms and elbows and launching them out of the ring, sending a message to the others. KUDA even swiftly kicks one out over the top rope which keeps the others at bay. KUDA picks up the Entertainment belt again.
Maxwell McNally: That must be what this is all about Eddie, the Entertainment belt and losing it to Tornado. This must be what he wants…
KUDA clenches the belt and looks at it once more for a second before barbarically thrashing it onto Tornado’s back like a whip. The crowd is shocked as are the commentators as KUDA proceeds to relentlessly whip the belt onto spine of Tornado, sending out cries of pain after each one. KUDA throws the Entertainment belt aside and takes a look at Tornado’s body trying to get back to his feet. KUDA challenges Tornado to get up further, and Tornado’s resilience is surprising as he manages to get on all fours. KUDA takes the time now to bounce off the ropes and connect with a vicious Yakuza Knee straight into the face of Tornado, without the usual twist. What appears to be red mist on Tornado’s face is actually clearly blood now, as it starts to take liquid form and trickle down the side of his cheeks. There is no sadistic smiling in this episode, as KUDA maintains his heated demeanor throughout the assault, even now.
Maxwell McNally: I don’t understand the meaning of this beat down Eddie. If KUDA is sending a message to Tornado it’s been sent, why go further and risk ending his career? “Fast” Eddie Edison: I’m afraid that’s probably what he wants Max…
KUDA lunges towards the officials who are approaching again, and scares them back off the apron. Tornado is now motionless on his back as KUDA walks over and grabs the R-3 flag. KUDA wraps it around Tornado’s neck and pulls back with undeniable force. He then wraps his legs around his neck as well, combining the pull from this submission hold and the flag as KUDA torques Tornado’s body up and nearly chokes him out. The staff and referees now jump in, as enough is enough and working together they try to pull KUDA off Tornado. KUDA eventually lets go, the strength of the men becoming too much to go up against but is still not finished. KUDA pushes them away once more and in a last symbolic act, he holds Tornado’s head up and wipes the blood from his face and presses it onto the R-3 flag, adding a prevailing red mark across the white fabric before forcibly throwing Tornado’s head back down onto the mat. The crowd has no dominant reaction to the events they just witnessed. Some are cheering for the random violence, some are booing as a result of an unnecessary bloodbath, but most are silent as they have no idea how to react at what just took place. The referees are all between the two men now and KUDA takes his cue to leave the ring. He throws the R-3 flag over his shoulders and walks up the ramp and into the darkness, without taking one look back at the massacre he has left in the ring.
-Fade Out-
OOC: Ending events are credited to Kudo.

Segment: Intimidation - The Key (Credit: BK)
As the scene opens we come back to Predator and BK London walking through the corridor of the ACW arena, both ready and prepared for their match in the main event tonight. As they walk they engage into some small talk, possibly talking about the next step in their plan for tonight, the camera closes in to catch some of the words being exchanged.
BK: Ok, so far we have gotten to Senator, Jonny..
Predator: ....TNT, since we did him before the show.
BK: Right...now since AK and Hunter appear to be nowhere in sight there's only one person left in order to complete our plan and put the favor in my odds.
Predator: You don't mean...
BK: We have to find Holocaust.
Predator: Holocaust?! Di-di-did you see what he did to me earlier tonight? He-he took my title.
BK: I know. I saw it. But don't think of it as him taking your title, think of it as he taking the anchor that was holding you down. And anyway, I really doubt that he's going to do that again with me watching your back in the match tonight. Now, does this guy even have a locker room?
Predator: I have no idea..
BK: Well ask somebody.
Predator looks on both sides of him before pointing to somebody and snapping his fingers, telling them to come.
Predator: Hey! Where's Holocaust's locker room?
Guy: Um...Holocaust? He is - if I remember correctly - to the left and three doors down.
The duo make their way towards the area of his locker room but on their way they both stop when they see, the Junior champion, Holocaust lifting one of the heavy extra structures of the Alphatron for tonight. Both stand in awe of their strength and they hide behind a corner, continuing to witness this. Holocaust then lifts the structure and tosses it aside, creating a loud noise of something hollow hitting the floor.
Seth Cowell sticks his head out of his locker room and calls Holocaust.
Seth: Holo, we have things to discuss. Such as how you are going to dominate tonight, come on inside.
Holocaust abides and he enters the room, being careful not to hit his head on the top of the doorway. The camera slowly pans over to Predator and BK who are still flabbergasted and in awe of what they just witnessed.
BK: Fuck that man.
BK quickly walks off camera.
Predator: I'm with you.
Predator follows and from here we fade out.

Segment: Mythological Beast
Gehenna is, or rather was, a compact community, a fact Alicia is very glad of as she and Eric weave their way through the street trying to avoid the multiple fights and other instances of violence that are springing up everywhere. Within a few minutes they are entering the front gate of Eric’s home, and Eric himself runs up to the door and knocks urgently.
Eric: Mom! Dad! Open the door, it’s me!
He and Alicia stand there, but there is no response; in fact, there are no sounds coming from within at all.
Eric: Why won’t they answer?
AK: Maybe they think we’re part of the mob running around on the streets. Here, let me-
She gives the door a push… and to their surprise, it opens a little. Alicia feels a sharp prick, and sees that the edge of the door is splintered. A cold feeling races up her spine.
AK: Eric… I don’t think-
But it’s too late. Eric has seen the door move and pushes it open fully.
Eric: Mom! Da-
His words stick in his throat, and as AK puts a hand on his shoulder, she can almost feel the heat leaving his body. They both stand there for a few seconds, staring at the sight before them.
The woman is in her late 30’s to early 40’s, and attractive. Even the appalling angle that her neck and limbs are twisted at cannot steal this from her, as she lies crumpled at the bottom of the stairwell. Scrapes along the paintwork tell where she passed, falling from the very top all the way to her final resting place at the bottom.
Eric has no voice with which to speak, but he mouths “Mom?” again once before running forward and kneeling beside her. Alicia lowers her head, and can only watch as silent tears slowly roll down Eric’s face. He touches her cheek, and her hands, jerking back each time at the coldness upon them… and as he raises his head slightly, suddenly his gaze becomes fixed.
Alicia becomes alert, and moves forward in the direction that Eric is looking. She prepares herself, but what she finds is not an attacker but a victim.
With hair just starting to tinge at the edges with grey, the man is around the same age as the woman. His expression is frozen into one of shock and pain, and the cause is obvious – there is a plain-handled knife embedded into his ribs. The large amount of congealed blood suggests that he bled to death.
Eric half walks, half stumbles over to the second body, and slumps down next to it. He is totally overwhelmed by grief, unable to speak or even cry any longer, and Alicia knows she can say and do nothing to ease his suffering. As if to underline the completeness of the tragedy, out in the back yard lies a black dog, its throat slit to silence its warning cries.
The silence is utter, deep and black and bereft of hope. Alicia shudders, it is a silence she knows all too well from another life…
There is precious little light in that desolate house, but Alicia’s eyes detect the tiniest reduction, and silently she lets her gaze travel upward. She can see the glimmer of cerulean blue in Peter’s eyes, and stands up, walking toward him wordlessly. Eric does not even look to see where she is going, or why; he is lost and adrift in his crippling sorrow.
Alicia stops a few feet away from Peter, and the pair look at one another. Another chill crosses Alicia’s back as she sees that Peter’s eyes, while still blue, are dead and cold with it. She gives him a questioning look.
Peter: You should know that I did not desire this outcome.
AK: And yet, this is what has occurred.
Peter: The boy was drugged, one of the other youngsters gave him a spiked soda while they were at school. When he returned home, he became drowsy and went to rest in his room, just as we hoped.
AK: You came here to collect him with some of the other young men who had already been converted. You were polite and kind, and tried to reassure his parents…
Peter nods, indicating that Alicia’s theorizing is correct.
AK:…but it was not enough, was it? With the townspeople exposed to a critical level of formidilosus, their behavior could not be predicted. And the fear for their son caused a chemical imbalance, an imbalance just like that which is raging in the bodies of the rest of the townsfolk now. They tried to stop you taking him, his mother met you at the top of the stairs, and she fell, you could not hold her and Eric at the same time. Her husband saw this and was enraged, he attacked you and you defended himself. You did only what was necessary, for the good of the town; they sinned, and were duly punished.
Peter smiles, and nods once again. The dim light reflects from the katana in his hand.
Peter: Yes, you are correct. You understand, and so you will understand why I must also punish this boy. He is the one who has caused all of this to happen, if he had only come back as he was supposed to, we would not be here now. He is at fault, but I do not blame you for being taken in by his “innocence”… without the aid of formidilosus, all people are weak.
He gestures toward Eric, who is still oblivious to anything around him.
Peter: I do not bear malice toward either of you… please, allow me to complete my task, for I have no desire to inflict further suffering. Go home, and forget this place ever existed…
Peter takes a step forward and attempts to pass Alicia, but she puts out a hand to halt his progress. The pair look at one another again.
AK: I understand only that you have been indoctrinated by a well meaning but horrifically misguided man to believe that you can alter basic human nature, and that you can have light without its attendant shadow…
Her voice becomes colder, harder…
AK: But the truth is that if you try to mess with nature, nature just messes you up in its turn. And you, my friend, are royally screwed in the head. Formidilosus has made you nothing but a murderer, your body is strong but your mind, the truly good part of you, is weak and feeble!
She shoves Peter back, and points to the two people lying dead before them.
AK: Those people fought and died for love, the love they had for their son. Formidilosus was within them, but they overcame it to do what they knew was right. You had the exact same choice, but you did what was simplest, and saw only what you had been taught to see.
Alicia takes her hand away from Peter’s chest. Peter’s eyes flicker with a hint of something that might almost be emotion, but it fades rapidly.
Peter: If you are trying to make me angry, it will not work. Formidilosus has given me the strength to resist such sinful emotions.
He raises his sword.
Peter: Do you think you can prevent me from acting as I must? I would take no pleasure in your death, do not make it necessary for me to kill you.
He makes a cursory swipe, but Alicia does not flinch, even though the blade passes within a centimeter of her chest. She smiles, flexes her shoulder muscles, and then sharply flexes her hands in turn. There is a distinctive “Shhhhhcckkkt” sound, and then a flash of sharpened blades as she raises her gloved fists.
AK: I did not come all this way to fall to a shadow of a man such as you.

There is just a fraction of a second’s pause, and then everything happens at once as Peter leaps forward, swinging with exceptional power. AK blocks and tries to twist the sword from Peter’s hand, but Peter backflips away and then dives sideways into the front room. Alicia starts to follow him, but then has a moment of intuition and runs back the other way, passing by Eric who is snapped out of his trance-line state by all the noise. Peter comes rushing around through a connecting door and Alicia has to duck to avoid his swing, but doing this allows her to jab him in the thigh with one set of blades. Peter grunts, but just like Hunter did, he seems not to feet pain and kicks AK back on to the floor. She rolls sideways as Peter brings the blade down, missing her by the narrowest of margin.
Peter’s expression remains unnervingly calm and composed as Alicia scrambles up to her feet; she sees movement to her right, and then sees Eric running up the stairs. Cursing inwardly at his failure to run out of the house, Alicia parries another strike from Peter and is forced backward, but instead of attacking her again Peter turns and bolts up the stairs at incredible speed. Alicia chases after him, and arrives at the top to see Peter kicking down the door to what must be Eric’s bedroom. Peter lunges inward, and AK for a moment thinks she will be too late, but there is a crash and as she reaches the door she sees that Eric has thrown a vase from his window at Peter, blinding him for a second or two. AK rushes in and kicks Peter hard, sending him backward into a shelf of books; they tumble everywhere, and now Peter is not the only one under the influence as AK’s adrenalin surges to exceptional levels. With a yell she leaps and drives a bladed fist at Peter’s head, forcing Peter to block; the pair struggle, with Peter holding back the wolverine-style claw blades an inch or so from his eyes. AK feels strong, stronger than she’s ever been; her anger at what has been allowed to happen in this town feeds her vicious side. Surely it’s no more than this man deserves, and who will ever know-
The break is sudden, so that neither person can take an advantage from it. Peter pulls himself back up on his feet, breathing hard, and Alicia does the same. She catches sight of Eric’s pale face, and sees that he is equally afraid of both of them…
It brings Alicia’s mind back into focus; she knows that she allowed righteous anger to take control, and is not proud of her actions. Peter moves toward her, but it is clear that he’s bleeding from his thigh, and Alicia can tell that if he doesn’t have it treated, it has the potential in this isolated place to become life threatening…
She has no further time to muse on this, as Peter is once again on the attack. Their blades clash, and sparks are emitted as they screech against one another. Peter has the advantage of greater range, and as AK swings a kick Peter sidesteps and embeds the point of the blade into AK’s shoulder. AK swears, and blood starts to flow, but the trace of blood on the tip of the blade is shallow. Something about this triggers a thought in the back of Alicia’s mind, but she can’t quite grasp what it is – and Peter takes advantage of her momentary pause to clip out her leg from under her. AK hits the carpet, and Peter kicks her hard in the head. Everything becomes distorted, and he puts a foot on her chest with a smile-
Eric: Hey, you! Can’t catch me, slowpoke!
Eric has pulled open the window, and he scrambles up on to the ledge of the roof before Peter can get hold of him. Peter finds himself looking out of the window, and a terrible sight meets his eyes…
Fires are burning everywhere; the once beautiful town looks as if it’s descended straight to the 7th level of the Inferno. There are several bodies lying in the street and in gardens, people whom Peter has known all his life. They came to the town seeking a haven from the evils of humanity, a haven which Peter had thought could exist for ever…
Something stirs within his mind, and without looking behind him he slides out on to the ledge and climbs upward. He is disappearing as Alicia starts to get up, trying as hard as she can to pull herself together. She moves after him, but as she reaches the window she sees something else… people are coming toward the house, with fire and flame to destroy it. Time is running perilously short.
Without looking down, Alicia climbs up on to the roof; she has a flashback to many years ago, when the steep angles of roof tiles provided a priceless fortress against other monsters. Her step is firm and sure, but the delay has been costly…
Peter has trapped Eric at the edge of the roof, with a sheer drop to hard concrete below. Eric is crouched, and Peter has the blade against his neck.
