Philip swallows hard, knowing the crowd isn’t going to like this.
Philip: Ladies and Gentlemen, according to the rules of ACW a legal competitor who is absent from the ring for longer than a count of 10 must be considered to have been eliminated from the match. Therefore, due to a countout… Latino has been eliminated.
The crowd boos furiously at this, but as the camera moves around the ring, it’s clear that Latino is in no state to continue the match anyway. The EMTs load him on to a stretcher; AK tries to get him to speak to her, but he’s too out of it for that.
Kudo is still in the ring, and RAF calls for one of the other team to come and continue the match. Seeing AK is distracted, RDK shakes off his own aches and re-enters the ring. AK is reluctant to have to leave Latino, but with BK still knocked out, she won’t abandon RDK, and walks back to the apron as RDK and Kudo start to circle…
AK slowly returns to the apron trying to come to terms with what has happened as she takes a look at BK out by the steel steps below her, while she believes he in some ways deserves it she also knows he is a big factor in the contribution to the outcome of this match. Everyone on Team KYSPBA's side who's legal begins to get back to their positions and the legal men, Kudo and RDK, continue to get it on. RDK lands a huge right hand to the jaw of Kudo but Kudo comes back with a few right hands of his own. RDK halts the assault with a swift kick to the abdomen before whipping Mr. KO himself into the corner. RDK follows up with a strong body avalanche to the Entertainment Champion knocking the wind out of him and the former World Champion wastes no time capitalizing with a Samoan Drop.
Edison: What a Samoan Drop, this could be it right here.
McNally: It's gonna take more than a Samoan Drop to take out the Entertainment Champion, I'll tell you that.
RDK hooks the leg of Kudo but Kudo gets his shoulder up right after the count of two. Instead of arguing with the referee, RDK wastes no time going back to work on Kudo with a few strikes to his abdomen. RDK whips Kudo off the ropes and RDK attempts a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker but Kudo uses his momentum to shift the move into a Inside Cradle.
McNally: What an innovative counter. I would've never seen that coming.
Edison: And apparently neither did RDK.
Kudo rolls up the former World Champion very tightly and it looks like it's over but AK enters the ring, to a pop from the crowd, and breaks up the pin. Executing the five second rule she picks up along with RDK and they whip the Entertainment Champion into the ropes. The Tag Team Champions are anticipating to hit Kudo with a double team move but Kudo rebounds from the ropes with a Double Flashback, taking both superstars down with an elbow to the jaw.
Kudo manages to stagger up to his feet after the move and he picks the legal man RDK and locks him in a Front Facelock before walking over to his corner. He tags in the current World Champion and Hunter wastes no time hopping over the top rope and taking it to RDK. He hits him with several strikes to the abdomen as Kudo goes back on the apron and he manages to get him in the corner. Hunter delivers a knife edge chop the chest of RDK but RDK endures the chop. Hunter wonders what the hell is going on and he lays another hard back hand chop to the chest of RDK but RDK seems to be eating all of his chopping offense. RDK grabs Hunter and tosses him into the corner before laying it in with some real authentic Canadian knife edge chops.
Edison: Look at Hunter's chest, it's beginning to turn a bright red.
McNally: Those are those real Canadian chops, they'll leave your chest red for a while Edison I'll tell you that.

Hunter holds his chest as his knees buckle under him from the pain and RDK whips Hunter into the opposite corner. Hunter walks out the corner staggering and RDK attempts to hit Hunter with The Rockbottom but the ACW Champ wisely elbows his way out of the move. Hunter hoists RDK on his shoulders and it appears he is going for his former Tag Team Partner Cage's finisher, the Rage, as he swings RDK around RDK lands on his feet. RDK proceeds to sweep Hunter's legs from under him and then he locks in the Texas Cloverleaf. The crowd goes absolutely nuts as Hunter thrashes around, trying to get to the ropes but RDK pulls him back toward the center. Kudo enters the ring and tries to take out RDK but RDK manages, astonishingly, to hit him with a Back Body Drop while the Texas Cloverleaf is still applied.
McNally: RDK's killing two birds with one stone here.
Edison: A stone might not be strong enough to take this man out, here comes Hitman!
The crowd continues to go nuts for the Macho Man but he falls victim to a huge big boot by Hitman, knocking him out the ring in the process. RAF decides the rein things in and sends both Kudo and Hitman back to their corners, and Hunter holds his back while rolling towards the outside.
Hunter picks up the Tag Team Champion and but RDK quickly lands a surprise Jabroni Buster on Hunter, leaving his back smacking against the thinly padded mat on the outside. RDK rolls back into the ring and tries to take a breath being exhausted and Hunter is out cold on the outside and his partners begin to will him on to get back up. The count is at 6 now and Hunter now begins to show some signs of life, by the count of 8 Hunter looks like he's about to get back into the ring but he falls back down to the ground. AK anticipates Hunter's elimination but Hitman hops down from the apron and hoists the ACW Champion over his head and tosses him back into the ring. Curse words can be seen mouthed from AK and she looks back down at BK who hasn't moved an inch and she starts to will him on, knowing that the numbers game is taking a toll on her and RDK.
AK: Come on, BK, snap out of it. There won’t be any match left for you to win if this carries on much longer…
Back in the ring both RDK and Hunter begin to stagger up to their feet on opposite sides of the ring using the ropes. The stagger backwards bumping into each other and they turn around, RDK lays the first blow to the jaw of Hunter and Hunter returns the favor with a punch of his own. RDK follows up with a European Uppercut which nearly knocks Hunter off balance. RDK bounces off the ropes and Hitman delivers a knee to the back of the former World Champion. Hunter follows up with a Drop Toe Hold and then he locks in the dreaded Bear Trap. Hunter pulls back on the Bear Trap and the look of aggression on his face is priceless. RDK attempts to make it toward the ropes but the Bear Trap is taking a lot out of him as Hunter puts more pressure on him. AK begins to bang the top turnbuckle and the crowd begins to stomp their feet in unison.
Edison: AK trying to will RDK on.
McNally: I think RDK's moving a little.
RDK feeds off the crowd and begins to rise up with Hunter still on his back. Hunter eventually releases the hold and he punches RDK but RDK begins to Macho up. Hunter punches RDK again and RDK points at him Hogan style and the crowd responds with a "YOUUU!".
Edison: HE'S MACHO-ING UP!
McNally: Hunter's in trouble now!

Hunter kicks RDK in the gut again and attempts to whip him in the corner but RDK runs up the turnbuckle and attempts the Macho-sault but Hunter sidesteps the move, luckily RDK lands on his feet. Hunter quickly scoops up RDK, attempting a Shotgun but RDK slips out of the move and pushes Hunter into the ropes. RDK runs at the ACW Champion and both get the same idea as a huge 'THWAP' is heard when both attempt a clothesline at the same time. The two superstars in the ring are knocked out and the referee begins to count for both of them. Suddenly the crowd begins to cheer as they see a bloody head peeking up from the apron. AK looks down as she sees something grabbing the ropes under her and she couldn't be any happier to see BK. RDK crawls toward his corner while Hunter is still in the center of the ring and BK reaches out his arm. RDK slaps the hand of BK making him the legal man and the crowd goes wild. BK slips into the ring, bloody and all, and he takes down Hunter with a clothesline. Kudo enters the ring, confident he can take out the bloody BK and he attempts to hit Kudo with a clothesline but BK hooks him with a Rear Waistlock and he slams him onto the mat with a German Suplex. BK gets up and Hitman steps over the top rope with ease. Hitman grabs BK by the throat and attempts to lay out the former International Champion with a huge Chokeslam he calls the Raging Titan but BK counters it into a Hurricanrana, actually pulling Hitman over the top rope. BK pulls himself back onto the apron and he steps into the ring
Edison: BK's on FIYAH!
McNally: Oh! But his momentum has come to a screeching halt, thanks to Hunter.
Hunter wastes no time and as RAF is sending Kudo to his corner he hits BK with a low blow. Hunter quickly capitalizes with the Red Apple Driver, but he’s neglected to check his position and as he has his opponent in the Crucifix position RDK tags himself in. Hunter completes the Red Apple Driver on BK, and he goes for the cover on BK but RAF tells him that RDK is the legal man. Hunter looks up with a dumbfounded look on his face and as he turns around, RDK completes a springboard lariat takedown on the ACW Champion. RDK hooks the leg of Hunter but Hunter manages to kick out right before the three count. Still taken by surprise, Hunter becomes the recipient of the Macho Facelock. Hunter screams in pain as he squirms around trying to reach the ropes but it's much harder than it looks. Hunter looks as if he is about to tap but surprisingly Senator, who is still on the outside even after his elimination a while ago, pulls both BK and AK off the apron. RAF takes notice and he slides out of the ring and begins bawling at The Senator, telling him to head to the back; but the Senator argues back as only he can, clearly stalling for something. RDK rises up and tells RAF to get back in the ring but he is still being distracted by Senator. RDK makes the mistake of turning around and Kudo delivers a Spiral Missile Dropkick to the chest of RDK. RDK stumbles backwards and Hunter quickly capitalizes with a Rolling Crutch Pin. Senator tells RAF to enter the ring and he indeed does when he sees RDK's shoulders are pinned to the mat, the referee counts one............two.....AK attempts to roll into the ring to save RDK but Senator holds her back as the referee's hand for three comes down.
Phillip: Macho Man RDK is eliminated!
Hunter releases the cover and Senator releases the foot of AK and RDK can't believe it. RDK begins to eye Senator who is on the outside looking more than a little smug, and RDK rises up. Senator looks back in the ring but as he does RDK runs towards the ropes and dives over it Taker style, taking out Senator. RDK pummels away at Senator but Senator rolls RDK on his back and begins to take it to him, the fight continues this way for about 30 more seconds until RAF literally can’t take any more and absolutely blows his gasket.
RAF: THAT – IS – IT! I want EVERYONE who is not still legally in this matchup cleared, from ringside and from the immediate backstage! What the HELL is Security doing? Taking that other lump of lard out to the blasted movies?!! Heads are going to ROLL after this, I tell you, ROLL!!
RAF’s tantrum goes right over the heads of RDK and the Senator, who are still fighting furiously with one another. Officials and security attempt to break the two apart, but their attempts are futile for the first few moments. Finally they manage to get the two separated and they take the two to the back through separate exits. RAF’s neck veins are still bulging like something out of the Incredible Hulk, but he calms down and tells everyone else to return to their positions and go on with the match.

Back in the ring Kudo is going at it on BK, aggressively slapping him and kicking him in the side of his head relentlessly. BK attempts to take cover in the corner but Kudo uses his foot to choke the former Entertainment Champion, RAF re-enters the ring and begins his count but Kudo releases the hold at 4. Kudo then picks up BK and knees him repeatedly in his face before whipping him into the opposite corner. The force of the whip is so much that on contact with the corner, BK drops face first onto the mat. Kudo walks over to BK, sort of exhausted but still managing to maintain the cocky swagger. He slaps the head of BK and tells him to get up. BK, still bloody from the attack by Torak, attempts to rise using the tights of Kudo. Kudo grabs the face of BK and pushes him onto the second rope, leaving him hanging there. Kudo goes onto the apron and he taunts the crowd before running up and delivering a stiff kick to the jaw of BK, possibly knocking a tooth loose. BK lays in the ring inert and Kudo enters the ring before covering him in a non-chalant fashion but BK gets his shoulder up after two. Kudo questions RAF's call on that two count but then leaves it alone and goes back to work on the superstar from Brooklyn.
Kudo calls for the end as he picks up BK and Kudo sits on the top rope. It would appear he is going for the Tornado DDT on BK as he has him in the front facelock position. Kudo spins off the top rope but BK pushes him off, making him land on his feet. Kudo doesn't know where BK has gotten this extra energy from but he quickly wants to put an end to it. Kudo charges at BK but BK dropkicks him in his knee sending him face first into the middle turnbuckle. Kudo holds his face and BK rolls up Kudo in a school boy.
Edison: SCHOOL BOY!
RAF slides over and begins the count and it would look like Kudo would've kicked out after two but BK grabs onto the ropes for extra leverage, unseen, and picks up the elimination.
Edison: RAF, HE'S GOT THE ROPES!
Phillip: Kudo Yasuda is eliminated!
BK rolls on his back, trying to gasp as much air as he can as his face is now a stained red. Kudo on the other hand is livid, arguing with RAF and kicking the ropes. BK attempts to get up and he reaches to tag in AK but Kudo delivers a quick and effective Yakuza Knee Strike to the head of BK, dimming his lights.
McNally: What a sore loser to take BK out like that!
Edison: BK shouldn't have cheated! Cheaters never prosper McNally!

Kudo leaves the ring smiling, proud of what he has done. Meanwhile, Hunter tells Hitman to get in there, knowing that he can't have the score even, and Hitman does so. He goes for the cover on BK, hoping to get a three, but BK gets his leg on the bottom rope and the referee breaks the count. Hunter yells at Hitman to get him away from the ropes and it can clearly be seen that the pressure is getting to the ACW Champion. Hitman pulls BK to the center of the ring and tries for the pin again but surprisingly BK gets his shoulder up. Hitman rises up and Hunter decides to tag himself in to get the job done by himself. Hunter stomps away at BK and then picks him up before whipping him into the ropes. Hunter attempts a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker and he hits it before following it up with the Backbreaker Stretch. BK screams in pain as Hunter applies the pressure and screams at BK to tap. The crowd begins to chant "BK! BK! BK!" and like RDK earlier BK feeds on the crowd. BK lays Hunter with a stiff kick to the side of his head which knocks Hunter out momentarily. BK crawls toward his corner and AK is anticipating the tag and so is Hitman on the other side of the ring.
Edison: Here comes AK!
McNally: Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn, Eddie!
The two get the hot tag and the crowd goes nuts as AK enters the ring. Hitman attempts a Running Big Boot on the Tag Team Champion but AK ducks under it and sweeps the other leg of Hitman from under him. Hitman drops to the ground like a sack of bricks and Hunter attempts a shot at some offense but he is tossed over the top rope onto the outside and he smacks against the announcer's table.
Edison: Ow, for a moment there I thought Hunter was going through that- look at this!
Hitman staggers up to his feet and AK charges at him and attempts to hit him with a Monkey Flip but he tosses AK into her corner with ease. BK tags himself in and Hitman charges toward AK to hit her with a Body Avalanche but BK delivers a stiff kick to the chest of Hitman before he can hit AK. Hitman stumbles backwards but still maintains his balance and BK delivers a Standing Pele kick to the chest of Hitman which gets him groggy. BK tags AK back in, and BK delivers a Lungblower to Hitman and he bounces up and toward AK and she takes his head off with a Harley Race like knee. AK covers Hitman but he kicks out with authority after the two count. Hitman rises up and AK gets up herself after being tossed nearly halfway across the ring. AK runs up to Hitman but Hitman grabs her by the throat, attempting his Chokeslam but BK re-enters the ring and hits a chop block to the knee of Hitman. AK trips Hitman and locks on her Catch 22 as BK locks his Make or Break on the other foot. Hitman screams in pain as he feels the fury of the Double Ankle lock, especially when both opponents lock on a grapevine.
Edison: IT'S A DOUBLE ANKLE LOCK! HITMAN'S GONNA TAP!
McNally: Where's - Where's Hunter going?!
Hunter witnesses this from afar and he climbs onto the apron and climbs to the top rope before hitting both BK and AK with a Diving Body Splash. Both break the hold and BK rolls out the ring and Hunter holds his gut before heading back to the apron before RAF explodes again. He demands the tag from Hitman and Hitman holds his legs and complies. He attempts to tag in the ACW Champion but AK delivers a swift superkick to Hunter. Hunter falls off the apron and back onto the Spanish announce table, pulling the protection off the table as he goes down. AK calls BK and rolls out of the ring and the two begin to take it to Hunter while Hitman holds both of his legs in pain, still with his mobility totally compromised. They remove the tv monitors…
McNally: Oh, Oh! What are these two thinking?
…before picking up Hunter. AK grabs Hunter's head, measures the distance, and then she runs up BK before delivering the Fox Flip to Hunter through the table, triggering a torrent of shouting in Spanish and sending the crowd off into a frenzy of “Holy Shit!” chants.
Edison: DAAAAANNNNGGGERRROUUUSS!
McNally: A FOX FLIP THROUGH OUR SPANISH COLLEAGUES' ANNOUNCE TABLE! HUNTER'S GOTTA BE OUT OF THE MATCH!

Hunter is out of it and RAF gets rather wound up again.
RAF: You’re both severely testing my patience! Get back to where you ought to be, right now!
BK just makes a rough hand gesture to indicate he’s going; AK staggers up out of the wreckage, looking a little bit dazed, but remarkably happy.
AK: That was brilliant. Where were we, again?
RAF’s eye twitches a little.
RAF: The ring, Ms. Kitsune. Go back to the ring before I COUNT YOU OUT!
AK rolls her eyes, and puts a hand on RAF’s shoulder.
AK: Chill, Raymundo. Chillll. I’m going, I’m going.
She wends her way back toward the ring; RAF casts BK a glance, and BK just shakes his head.
BK: Whatever is wrong with you, woman, is no small thing.
AK rolls into the ring and BK heads to the apron. As AK rolls back into the ring Hitman, who has been rejuvenated while they were double teaming Hunter, begins to club away at the back of AK with his heavy forearms. Hitman uses his power to toss AK into the corner with ease before delivering an Open Palm Slap to her chest. AK's knees buckle from under her as Hitman picks her back up and grabs her by the throat and tosses her to the center of the ring. AK holds her back and Hitman charges at BK and knocks him off the apron to the bottom end of the ramp way to get AK alone. AK staggers up to her feet and he grabs the Tag Team Champion by her neck, he goes for the Raging Titan and finally hits it, nearly taking her through the ring. Hitman drops down to AK and hooks the leg but decides that's not enough punishment and he lifts her arm up. Hitman picks up the two time Tag Team Champion and he locks her in a strong Bearhug.
McNally: Look at that Bearhug, he could crack the ribs of AK.
Hitman begins to systematically squeeze the life out of AK and wails of pain begin to emerge from AK. BK is still staggering around on the end of the ramp way and Hunter is showing some signs of life as he is staggering around in the debris of the broken table. Hitman continues to squeeze and squeeze like his life depended on it. AK slowly begins to fade and she attempts to raise her hand to attack Hitman but it drops. RAF walks over and he picks up the arm of AK and it slumps back down towards the ground and he signals toward Phillip that's a one. He repeats the procedure and gets the same results for the second one. Hitman is licking his lips at the thought of eliminating AK and the referee raises her hand again but she manages to keep it up.
Edison: There's still some life in this girl!
Hitman can't believe it and AK begins to punch Hitman in the face and on the outside Hunter can be seen crawling towards the apron and so can BK. Hitman continues to receive punishment to his face and his grip around AK begins to loosen and finally AK makes Hitman's ears ring with a Mongolian Chop. Hitman holds his ears and AK delivers a Standing Enziguri to Hitman knocking him down on one knee. Hunter climbs up onto the apron but AK bounces off the ropes and delivers a dropkick to the head of Hitman while at the same time sending Hunter flying back, and this time he eats the English announce table. BK is on the apron and he calls out for the tag and AK is just about to tag him in but Hitman pulls AK towards the center of the ring. Hitman attempts his Paul Stanley Slam but AK maneuvers out of it and somehow manages to hook up Hitman’s arms to hit a desperation modified Falling Star. Both Hitman and AK lie in the center of the ring motionless for a few moments, and Hunter staggers around on the outside, slipping inadvertently back down to his knees, as BK is calling for the tag.
Edison: DESPERATION FALLING STAR! NOW ALL SHE NEEDS TO DO IS GET THE TAG IN TO BK!

Meanwhile, on the outside, Hunter starts slowly getting to his feet in the most fearless of manners. He looks at AK and Hitman who are somehow both just about back on their feet, and then sees AK knock Hitman over into one of the turnbuckles. Hunter sees his opportunity and takes it. He quickly slides into the ring, grabs AK, and delivers a picture perfect Shotgun onto her. BK begins to protest in his corner, but Hunter flies off at him without so much as a thought and knocks him down with a forearm. Despite the referee's warnings and shouts, he must take part in his duty and begins to count the pinfall once Hitman hooks AK's leg. He gets a 1...and then a 2...and then a 2.999999! AK just kicks out before the three, and Hunter turns to look at her wide-eyed. She has a look of "is that all you've got?" on her face, and this causes Hunter to lose his mind even more.
He tells Hitman to move out of the way, and he begins angrily stomping away on AK. He tells Hitman to cover once more, but AK is able to kickout just before the three yet again. Hunter cannot believe what he's seeing...if there was only some way he could...and then it hits him like a thunderbolt. He looks to the outside and sees that BK is still trying to gather his strength to return to the apron. Hunter slides out of the ring to the great pleasure of the referee. Hitman lifts up AK and quickly slams her down before applying a small headlock. He thinks better of it and whips her into the ropes, and then on the rebound he hears a loud yell resembling the word "MOVE!" He dares not disobey, so he quickly moves out of the way and sees that he did so rightly: Hunter has procured a steel chair from outside of the ring and has swung it full force into AK's skull. RAF quickly calls for the bell and grabs the chair, which Hunter allows without a fight.
Philip: Umm...due to a disqualification, Hunter has been eliminated!
The fans in the arena boo, but Hunter simply smirks. He slides out of the ring and nods to Hitman, who smirks and nods as well. He cockily places his boot onto AK's stomach and the referee has no choice but to count the pinfall, which at this point is easily achieved.
Philip: And now, due to a pinfall, Atomic Kitsune has been eliminated!
The fans boo once more, but Hunter just continues smirking. Hitman sits back in one of the corners and takes a quick rest as BK gets to his feet and sees what has happened. He completely understands, and even he sort of thinks that Hunter's strategy was clever. And Hunter thinks this too...until Ginger's theme music hits.
Ginger comes walking down to the ring at a leisurely pace.
Ginger: So...Hunter. That was quite a plan wasn't it?
Hunter: Hell yeah!
He doesn't even bother turning around to see Ginger standing behind him, mic in hand. But he should, because then he'd notice one significant detail.
Ginger: But Hunter, you've forgotten one thing---
Hunter: What? It's not like you can reverse the decision! I got DQed just like I should have been! If AK really was so amazing, she could've kicked out---
But by this time, he has turned around. He stops himself mid-sentence and notices this aforementioned object: an envelope.
Hunter: ...what the hell is that?
Ginger: Oh, this? It just so happens to be the envelope with the number written on it. You remember, don't you? Whatever number I wrote down, the person who was eliminated at that time will become your number one contender?
Hunter says nothing.
Ginger: Good, you remember. Well, let me show you what the number is...
Ginger, without any moment to spare, quickly unseals the envelope and takes out the piece of paper. He holds it high and everyone (including Hunter) can see that the number written on the paper is "6".
Ginger: Now, for those of you keeping track, who was the 6th person eliminated?
The fans are silent, but only for a few moments. It hits them within a matter of seconds, and it hits Hunter even sooner.
Ginger: So...Hunter...say hello to your number one contender...ATOMIC KITSUNE!
Hunter cringes and turns around to face AK, who is just about getting back on her feet in the ring. Though she is clutching her head in pain, she shows no signs of pain on her face. In fact, she does exactly the opposite: she smiles.
AK: …………Ginger! Helllooo! What’s up?
Ginger and everyone else is confused for a moment, and then they work out that AK must be concussed. Ginger speaks loudly into AK’s ear.
Ginger: You’re the #1 contender! Remember? The special stipulation?
AK looks puzzled for a second, but then understands, and gives a slightly out-of-it giggle.
AK: Am I? How lovely. Victor will be so pleased…. Oh Hunter, we’re going to have so much fun. But first, I think I need a lie down… Mr. Riker, you have the com.
AK stumbles sideways; fortunately, a couple of EMTs have arrived to help her to the back. Hunter silently curses under his breath and starts heading up the ramp. Ginger, perhaps in a minor state of worry that Hunter will attempt to get his revenge, retreats backstage with a large grin still on his face. The tables have turned. And Hunter disappears backstage shortly after. AK, through the help of the EMTs, slowly follows behind them. And now, finally, after all of the drama has ended, the match can continue. BK enters the ring and he stares at Hitman. They know that only one of them can bring victory to themselves as well as their team. They nod slightly towards each other, completely aware of the other's goal. And then they're off.

There’s no point in holding anything back now, and both BK and Hitman know it. They’ve both endured an extreme amount of punishment, and there’s no way either of them can face a long, drawn out final battle. They’ve met before, they know what each other is capable of, and with added poignancy they engage head on, BK throwing huge punches at Hitman’s ribs, Hitman using his open palm slaps to make BK reel back. For a few moments the battle is evenly poised, but gradually BK starts to slow Hitman’s responses; he scores a powerful hit, which enables him to get behind Hitman and apply a full nelson. He finds it a challenge to lock in, due to Hitman’s sheer size, but determination wins out, and BK executes the Lungblower to a huge roar from the crowd. BK, though tired, still has the energy to smirk, but Hitman isn’t done yet either; he rolls back on to his feet before BK can even get close enough to think about making a pin. The crowd continues to make a great deal of noise; BK quickly tunes up the band, and delivers the Shades of Michaels with as much force as he can muster. Hitman falls backwards – but he is caught by the ropes, and with a big effort Hitman manages to spring back off of them. BK has only a moment or two to decide what to do… and he amazes everyone by pulling out all the stops, and performing a sloppy but none the less effective Cradle Crash.
Edison: JEEESUS! That’s got to be it, Max!
McNally: BK with the pin, 1, 2 – Kickout! Kickout by the incredible Hitman!
The crowd can’t believe it either, and as Hitman gets up, he sees just a glimmer of what might be doubt in BK’s eyes. Hitman doesn’t waste a second, and he’s up with BK in a flash, battering him with his huge arms. The crowd almost can’t look as Hitman delivers his “Welcome to Tartarus” chokebomb; Hitman presses all his weight on to BK, as RAF counts, 1….2…th – BK gets a shoulder up, and the crowd goes wild. Hitman tries to keep BK down, crushing the air out of him, but BK rakes the eyes with his free hand, and kips up with maximum possible speed; Hitman is a little slower to respond die to fatigue, and this lets BK line him up for a second Shades of Michaels. This one sends Hitman properly to the mat, but BK does not pin; he points skyward, and then half runs, half hobbles to the nearest corner.
McNally: He’s going for it! The Brooklyn to London!
BK knows that any delay could wreck everything; he climbs up as fast as he can, and prepares to jump – but Hitman has rolled out of the way, thwarting BK’s plan. BK tries to jump and strike Hitman with a simpler move, but Hitman is up and is able to get out of the way. BK is agile enough to land safely – but not to avoid Hitman as he grasps him, and nails the Zeus’ Anger.
Edison: Absolutely GODLY! Hitman reigns supreme, here comes the cover-
RAF counts as Hitman pins again, 1…2…thre-
McNally: Kickout! By all the stars, how did BK do that?
Hitman is amazed, and argues with RAF; the count was indeed agonizingly close, but RAF is certain that his call was the right one. As he and Hitman debate, BK rolls over and palms something from inside his ringwear, slipping it into his mouth. Seeing that RAF won’t change his mind, Hitman picks BK up again and this time signals for the Zeus’ Anger II. He starts the move, maneuvering for the Sit-Out Powerbomb finish – and BK springs his surprise, blasting Hitman with a cloud of mist. Hitman is blinded for a moment, and BK counters the powerbomb into a hurricanrana, sending Hitman once again flying out of the ring, and making the crowd scream.
Edison: We know the Shades of Michaels… but was that a “Shade of Satoshi?”
McNally: I don’t know how BK would take the comparison, Eddie… but Hitman’s furious!

Both Hitman and BK lie still, inside the ring and out; they’re both absolutely exhausted. RAF starts a 10 count, and Hitman stirs; BK isn’t far behind him, and they both slowly get on their feet. Hitman walks forward to the ring at the post; his steps are slow, and he’s continuing on through force of spirit and loyalty to the rest of his team. BK is in a similar position, and as he approaches the corner where Hitman is getting on the apron, the crowd starts to get louder and louder. They can sense that this match is coming to its point of resolution.
The two men trade a few punches, but they both lack power due to fatigue. Things seem to be at a stalemate… until Hitman starts to climb up the outside of the post. BK mirrors him; they are both on the first rope.
Edison: What goes up…
McNally:… must come down, and what a downer it will be!
They trade a couple more blows, and then advance to the second rope. Hitman tries to lift BK, but he holds the third rope and prevents it. Hitman uses a similar tactic when BK tries to send him backward. The count is at 6, since Hitman is still technically outside the ring, and this forces his hand.
Edison: They’re going all the way!
Leaning on one another for support, BK and Hitman finally reach the top rope, which counts as a re-entry for Hitman. Now everything hinges on these last few moments…
BK attempts to get hold of Hitman, but Hitman locks him into a bearhug, and BK gasps as his vision swims. The crowd’s roars peak as Hitman lifts BK clear of the ropes, going for the Zeus’ Anger II from the top… but BK struggles, and Hitman, dangerously close to overbalancing, hesitates for just a moment.
Moments can indeed change everything. BK’s feet just barely touch the ropes, and he throws the dice, grasping Hitman and pushing off backward into the LondonPlex Omega. For a split second it looks like he won’t be able to throw Hitman, and that the big man will crush him utterly as they land… but he just reaches the tipping point by the narrowest of margins, and the crowd goes ballistic as the move is pulled off.
BK seems almost blinded by tiredness; he practically feels his way into the pin. RAF drops and counts, and everyone counts with him; 1……2….3.
The bell rings, and the sound in the arena is extraordinary as the epic match comes to an end.
Philip: That’s it! Your winners, by 4 eliminations to 3…. The Superfriends!

The fans almost don’t know how to react to what they’ve just witnessed; to a man the entire arena is standing, cheering and applauding as loudly as they can. BK sits up, but can’t stand right away, and Hitman lies looking at the ceiling, too exhausted to pick himself up.
The noise doesn’t diminish as the rest of those involved in the match come out from the back. Whatever has been, and whatever will come to pass, for these few moments hostilities are suspended. It’s all about what the teams have collectively achieved tonight, and in some ways, the result isn’t even important.
Hitman’s still feeling the effects of the match on his legs, so Hunter and Senator help him up; Kudo says nothing, but it seems as if he’s found new respect for Hitman’s mastery of his size and strength. The fans aren’t in the least interested in who they “should” be cheering for; they simply show their respect on mass, and Hitman takes a moment to raise his arms to them, a symbol of his own personal victory in carrying his team’s hopes to the very end of the match. BK gets up, and walks slowly over to Hitman, and extends his hand; the crowd roars approval as they shake, mutual admiration and respect between the pair of them.
Hitman steps over the ropes, and walks down the steps; the rest of the opposing team are waiting on the outside. RDK and Latino shake hands with Hitman, and congratulate him on his performance, while AK insists on a proper hug, getting quite emotional about it all. Hitman keeps his innermost feelings private, but there is a great cheer as all the KYSPBA team walk up the ramp together, arms held aloft, undefeated in spirit.
As KYSPBA make their exit, BK continues to stand still. The rest of his team are leaning against the apron, and the gesture is clear; they are giving BK his dues in winning the match. BK gives his usual smirk, but there’s a warmth behind it, and he slides out of the ring without doing his usual celebrations there.
Latino has a bandage with a gel pack wrapped around his head. He still looks to be very shaky after Torak’s attack, but nothing is going to keep him from ringside after such a hard fought battle. AK and RDK are better recovered; BK pauses for a second, and then rolls his eyes as if to say, “Oh, very well.”
All four link arms, and hold their hands up, for an enormous pop. Despite their differences, they’ve proven that they can accomplish amazing feats by working together, the whole greater than the sum of its parts.
Ragnarok is over; the battlefield has fallen silent. But the wheels of life keep turning, and as one conflict concludes, a whole new set of battles are poised to begin.
This is as it has always been, and how it always shall be. But for certain members of ACW, other things are happening that will lead them down dark and dangerous paths…
Deep in the basements of the ACW building, there is a lonely figure, oblivious to what has just taken place.
On a quiet highway, a car is traveling, heading unknowingly toward ACW’s home town.
When the two meet, everything will change…
You can forget your past… but your past never forgets you.
It begins.
Fade to Black.
End of Show.
