In the back there is an enormous sense of relief; crew and wrestlers are mingling, all elated at the success of the show. There’s plenty of star spotting going on too, and the invited guests are expressing their enjoyment of the event.
Out of the melee comes a very chilled – looking Wolf, who’s clearly been having a great time without having to worry about actually wrestling live. He shouts over his shoulder.
Wolf: Yeah, sure Kanye, I can do a guest spot on the next album…. Call me, ok?
Chuckling, Wolf heads out along the corridor and out into the parking lot. He passes AK, who’s also on her way back to her car.
Wolf: Hey, that was a great show, wasn’t it?
AK: Sure was. You and Predator were great to work with, thanks.
Wolf smiles. Then a thought occurs to him, and he furrows his brow.
Wolf: Simon never did his match, after all that?
AK: No.
Wolf: Shit. So we brought this back with us for no reason, then?
The camera pans around; the elephant seen much earlier is tethered to a concrete pillar with a supply of feed and water. It has what looks suspiciously like a rocket launcher on its back.
AK: Looks that way. We’ll arrange to have it shipped back in the morning. Anyway, night….. I think that Latino and I will go “celebrate” some more……
She gives Wolf a wink, and then walks away out of shot. Wolf looks up at the elephant, laughs, and heads off in the other direction.
Fade to Black.
So there we have it.
Credit is due to Yoko for all of Stanton’s actions and interruptions during the evening, which as you will have noticed contributed greatly to the show.
Omega Effect wouldn’t have been possible without a stupendous amount of work from all of our members, so I offer my heartfelt thanks to everyone who took the time to write matches, spots, and segments for the event. You’ve all outdone yourselves once again.
I hope everyone enjoys the break, and comes back refreshed and ready to contribute to another great ACW year. Cheers, everyone.
