Latino sees Senator and Senator sees Latino, and at that moment everything else seems to fade away for both of them. They walk up to each other, getting in each other’s face until Senator slaps his foe. Latino turns around into a full punch right into Senator’s face which knocks him down in an instant. Latino knocks Senator down every time with each left, and each right. Latino kicks Senator in the gut and hits the Three Shots; everyone else has the sense to stay well out at this point. Senator is pretty worn down after that but Latino is still going. Senator gets up and Latino hits a dropkick to Senator’s knee. When he gets up, Latino hits another dropkick on Senator’s other knee. Senator finally gets to his feet and is having trouble walking with both knees worn down. Latino hits a Russian leg sweep then locks on the Indian deathlock. Senator cries in pain, but his partner for this battle royale, RDK comes and breaks it up, and the Senator commences a strong fightback as RDK goes back over to beating Caveman. Jonny and Jake are both taking Froggy and Daredevil pretty well. Jonny hits an Edgecution on Froggy and Jakes hits a Intermission on Daredevil at the same time. Rookie lifts Angelo in a military press and slams Angelo down. RDK picks Caveman up and hits a Jabroni Buster. He picks him up and hits a face first DDT. Then Angelo hits a huge, standing Yakuza kick. Rookie is laid out and Angelo goes over, turns Jonny around then lifts him up into MafiaBomb. Then he flips him into a moonsault onto the grounded Daredevil. They then high five each other and Angelo goes back over to Rookie.
”Stay Together for the kids” hits and Predator comes out to ring. But he doesn’t slide in, he goes around and then slides in at the side and gets some hits in on Froggy.
Just as Predator starts helping Jonny and Jake with Daredevil and Froggy, RDK whips Caveman across the ropes. RDK is very close to the rope and bends over and backdrops Caveman. Caveman holds the rope the whole time but still flips over the top and hits the ground with great force.
Philip: Ladies and Gentlemen, AJK Caveman has been eliminated.
Angelo swiftly runs over to RDK, who’s leaning on the ropes pointing at Caveman and tries to flip him over the top but RDK is holding onto the ropes with all of his strength. Rookie then runs and breaks it up. Rookie goes for a standing clothesline, but Angelo ducks and they basically switch positions. Rookie goes for another and Angelo ducks again and Rookie hits RDK. Latino is then shown attempting to do a Macana’s Blade to Senator over the top rope but Senator slips out. He hits a Shining Capitol and Latino flies forward and bounces off the ropes and falls backwards. Senator picks Latino up and lifts him into a Final Recount. He nails it and then starts doing some mounted punches to Latino. Elsewhere, Froggy and Daredevil are trying to fight off Jake, Jonny, and Predator who are working as a team, for now. RDK is going crazy on Rookie for that clothesline and Angelo gets into that fight. Rookie gets knocked down by a roundhouse kick and Angelo hits a spinebuster on RDK. Rookie gets back up and comes toward Angelo who kicks him in the gut and lifts him up then hits a monstrous MafiaBomb on Rookie and taunts – but Rookie gets up again, his stamina causing many soft whispers of admiration from the engrossed fans. RDK comes running and just collides into Angelo. They are both on the ground just punching and punching, Then eventually Rookie also gets into the brawling between the two.
"Survival of the Sickest" by Saliva starts playing as Ness comes out from the back running down to the ring more than ready for his shot at the rumble. He slides inside the ring watching out for the crowd of people already inside the ring.
As the rumble continues, Jake and Angelo are now fighting it off trading punches back and forth. Angelo ducks a punch and quickly goes behind Jake. He grabs the back of Jake’s head and drops down with a neckbreaker. As he gets up Senator comes running through the crowd with a shoulderblock knocking back into against Froggy and JonnyG who are in the midst of a grapple. Jonny throws Froggy back towards the ropes and quickly goes with a right head to Angelo. He stops just before he connects as Angelo jumps back. Both take a moment to stop and then turn their attention to Froggy. Before they can do anything Ness comes out of nowhere with a double clothesline. Ness looks around as if this is his ring until Froggy lunges at him with a kick to the gut. He grabs a hold of Ness’ head and tries for a DDT but Angelo is back up and quickly grabs a hold of Froggy and gives him a violent Burning Hammer. Ness backs up thankful he was saved but Angelo takes the opportunity and gives him the same fate that Froggy just received just moments ago. RDK sees Angelo performing his attacks and tries to take him but Angelo ducks quickly puts him in the Burning Hammer position. Latino, Rookie, and DD decide to join up together and take out Angelo as the trio starts charging. Angelo throws RDK at Latino and DD taking both men out. Rookie grabs a hold of Angelo from behind but the Italian swings a leg back hitting Rookie in the area that only Skurai could withstand. Predator and Cheng take their shot but Angelo runs at them with full force and takes them out as well with a double clothesline. Jonny gets up smiling as he looks around at all the damage. Angelo looks at him smiling as well. He walks over and in all one-motion picks up Jonny and slams him back down with the Burning Hammer. Surprisingly the crowd gives Angelo a big pop as they have just seen this immense display of power and strength from Angelo like never seen before. He raises his arms up as if he has just won the rumble when the sound of the crowd counting down to 1 cuts off his celebration.

Bladeseika’s music hits and he quickly comes down to the ring, to the cheers of the crowd. It’s a little too late for Angelo as Blade’s already in the ring when Angelo turns around.
Blade gets to the ring and runs across the ring. As he rebounds he clotheslines Angelo over the top rope. Angelo lands on his back on top of the apron and gets up just in time for Blade to hit him again. Angelo, facing away from the ring, is sent all the way to the safety barrier and smashing into the barrier. His feet though are off of the floor, which Blade fails to see. Angelo pulls himself up into a crouching position, still in pain from the impact to his ribs. Blade’s now fighting off Jonny and Rookie who have gotten to their feet trying to gain some momentum that each man lost. Angelo shifts along the barrier and jumps across to the steel steps. He springboards from the top rope and performs a crossbody to Blade, Rookie, and Jonny. Blade starts to get up and Angelo goes for the completion of his retaliation with a Yakuza Kick. Everyone else besides Blade, who is now laid out on the mat, are up as a few pick partners and start throwing punches. Froggy and Jake double team on Ness trying to eliminate him. Suddenly, the crowd’s counting is heard once again as they herald the next entrant. ”Trip Like I do” booms out, and the fans give out a large pop as Wyvern’s music hits. He runs down to the ring wasting no time at all.
He slides in the ring and takes out a running Predator. He grabs a hold of Froggy and slams his head on the turnbuckle. Jake turns around only to be punched across the jaw and falling down on the mat. Wyvern takes a few steps back and nearly clotheslines Ness’ head off flipping him over the ropes towards the outside mats.
Phillip: Ladies and Gentleman Daniel Ness has been eliminated!
The fans are now going crazy for Wyvern as he has a rush full of adrenaline. Latino quickly grabs Wyvern from behind and gives him a Russian Legsweeep. Daredevil grabs Latino by his shoulder but Latino turns around quickly and decks him out with a punch to the face. Latino sees Senator across the ring and tries for an attack. But before he can do so Blade comes from the side and jumps up grabbing Latino by the head. He comes down with a DDT on Latino. RDK on the other side of the ring starts grappling with Senator as he backs him up against the ropes trying to use his leverage to eliminate the Senatorial Stable Leader. Wyvern comes out the crowd of superstars and giving RDK some help in on Senator. As everyone is battling out and struggling to survive the next entrant is announced by the now familiar countdown. ”Boldly Going Nowhere” starts playing as FSX runs down to the ring not stopping for anything. He enters quickly dodging lefts and rights staring down at his target, Wyvern.
FSX comes intent on making some damage as he immediately makes his way towards Wyvern whom is across in the ring. Before he can fulfill his plan Jake charges at him trying for a clothesline but FSX wisely ducks. As Jake turns around FSX quickly nails his Dynasty Slam on Jake. Rookie tries his hand at Fallen but he is welcomed with a boot to the face. Fallen turns around only to see Jake already back up. He grabs a hold of him and for the second time slams him back down with the Dynasty Slam. Meanwhile, Senator breaks free of RDK’s grasp as he kicks him in the face definitely showing off his training. He grabs a hold of RDK and rushes him into the corner stopping down on him more and more. Back over to FSX, whom is making sure Jake stays down, stands him back up and lifts him for a third time for the Dynasty Slam. As the countdown expires for the next entrant FSX grabs a hold of Jake to continue his damage.
Davey Marvel practically explodes out of the back as “Tougher than Leather” hits and charges to the ring, a man on a mission.

Davey has one thing on his mind and that’s stopping Fallen from doing any more damage. He takes out Jonny with a right hand and kicks Angelo in the gut, throwing him into a running Daredevil. He spins FSX around and quickly wraps his arm around his waist. He lifts him up and brings him back down with an Atomic Drop. Fallen jumps holding the sore area and is quickly met with a double dropkick by RDK and Latino. The two men continue their double team as the grab a hold and clothesline Davey. Angelo sees the two men and charges at them. They both let go and duck each grabbing a hold of Angelo on opposite sides. They lift him up in the air and slam him down on his back. Blade comes from the behind the two and slams Latino down head first onto the mat. He grabs a hold of RDK and tries for a kick to gut but RDK grabs his leg and spins him around. Before RDK can do anything Froggy leaps out of the crowd of people and takes out both Blade and RDK with a crossbody block. Froggy gets up with a smile on his face as the fans are cheering louder and louder. Predator sees the window of opportunity and grabs Froggy by the back throwing him over the top rope.
Phillip: El Froggy Mask has been eliminated!
Predator stands at the ropes taunting Froggy whom is sitting on the outside mats. Daredevil goes for an attack, but he is too slow as Angelo sneaks up behind Predator and sends him crashing out with a modified Angle Slam.
Phillip: Predator has now been eliminated!
The battle continues as Angelo now picks his fight with ever so close Daredevil. Both men get locked in a grapple. Close by them Senator and JonnyG are double-teaming on Blade trying to eliminate the strong competitor whom is showing intense stamina. Latino is battling out with Jake while Fallen Souls is in the corner taking a breather. Davey and Wyvern are definitely showing that even friends can fight in this match as they are trading punches back or forth. With each punch each man lunges backwards showing how much this match takes a toll on one another. Rookie runs at FSX and proceeds to try to choke his life out with his boot using the ropes as leverage. As the rumble continues the crowd follows the countdown to the arrival of the 23rd Superstar.
TNT’s new theme starts playing as he comes out for the second time tonight. He looks around with a big smile ready to claim a second victory for the night. TNT slides and quickly gets up before anyone can take advantage.
TNT works his way in the center of the ring where it seems all the action has worked its way into. Rookie and Latino seem to be battling it out with Rookie surprisingly getting the upper hand. Latino tries to pull off his triple suplex, obviously forgetting where he is, and Rookie turns it into a face buster. Angelo and Blade and trading punches when RDK comes over and kicks both men in the gut. He grabs a hold of Angelo and quickly gives him a Macho Man Slam. As he gets up he grabs a hold of Blade and tries for a Tornado DDT but Blade blocks the move and both men are in a stalemate locked in a grapple. TNT makes his way toward Daredevil whom is now showing the wear and tear of being in such a long and brutal match. He starts punching and kicking at the worn down superstar. On the outside of this center of violence and fallen bodies are Wyvern are Fallen Souls who are trading rights and lefts. Wyvern takes a punch to the face but no sells it as he tackles FSX giving him a jab after jab. Nearby them are Davey and Jake who are double-teaming on JonnyG. Jonny tries his best to handle both men but they soon get the better of him. The each take a side and give him a double snap suplex. Jake and Davey toss Jonny into the corner and each grab a leg trying their best to eliminate the Tag Team Champion. As Jonny struggles to stay in the match the next entrant is announced.

”Kabane, Kabane! Oh baby, when she moves, she moves!”
The crowd looks to be thoroughly confused when “Kabane” hits again, but it quickly stops, and changes to “Them Bones” by Alice in Chains, to a very surprising welcome back pop, as Bane emerges from the ACW entranceway for the very first time in a long time. He runs down the ring to join the fray.
With the brawl in the middle of the ring reaching a fever pitch, Wyvern and FSX look to recreate their title match confrontation outside of the brawl, looking to prove to the other the more dominant of stables here in the ACW. FSX kicks Wyvern in the midsection and delivers a DDT. FSX grins, but doesn’t get much of a chance to celebrate his actions as Senator inadvertently whips Daredevil into FSX, who look at each other with bitter disdain. The two get into a scuffle, as they bump into Davey and Jake, who have been working on JonnyG, and the New Breed members quickly move to fend any possible, albeit alliance by FSX and DD, by shifting their attention to them. At this point, RDK manages to set Rookie up for the Rock Bottom, but a devious Angelo stops him in his tracks with a low blow. As Angelo laughs, Senator spins him around and says something to the effect of a Chef Hat “can’t hide you from me, and that my friend, is nothing but the truth”, as he launches into a Partisan kick which threatens to snap Angelo’s jaw. Wyvern notices a brief shift of alliances as FSX, Davey and Jake are all wailing on Daredevil. Wyvern dashes over, as he notices Daredevil has done quite well, and is a major threat, as he does the unexpected at this point, and hits his trademark flipping fameasser to FSX, as he pulls the New Breed into full force. He starts scuffling with Daredevil, calling for something inaudible, as Bane takes down Latino with a diving lariat. Blade turns around from the mid-ring scuffle, to catch an RKO by the opportunist known as TNT. Wyvern manages to kick Daredevil down, and he lifts Daredevil into a powerbomb, as Marvel and Jake set their positions, nailing the Trifecta (powerbomb/neckbreaker followed by a 450 splash) for the first time since the New Breed inception, to a massive response from the crowd. Daredevil is thrown over the ropes, and he fights to the bitter end, trying to through the ropes, but it takes all three members of the New Breed to stop his re-entry, culminating with Jake hitting DD with a superkick to eliminate him.
Phillip: Daredevil has been eliminated!
The focus shifts to the scuffles breaking out at mid-ring, with JonnyG and Bane locking up, as Senator and Latino throwing haymakers at each other, trying wear the other man down. TNT and Rookie get into a scuffle as well, as they trade blows as well. Angelo tries to stay out of reach of all competitors, until the 2-minute time interval has been called.
”Trying to Find A Balance” by Atmosphere hits, to a very positive reaction for Darius Silver’s entrance. However, he doesn’t appear.
The wrestlers in the match so far look at the entranceway briefly, before noticing Angelo trying to sneak through the ropes to hide. The wrestlers start swarming in on him, with RDK and TNT working together to pulverize the Italian hitman, while JonnyG tries to fight Senator and Latino, breaking up their fight, for a chance to make the save for Angelo. Just then, the lights go out.
Everyone appears to be fine, but Wyvern has been pulled to the opposite side of the ring as the lights come up, with his masked assailant waiting right in front of him. The masked assailant catches the rest of the New Breed off-guard, as he hits a quick Angle slam on Wyvern. He then rips off his mask…IT’S DARIUS SILVER!!! Wyvern can’t believe it, nor can the rest of the New Breed. As JonnyG hits a Jonormous Slam on TNT, freeing Angelo, the New Breed flies into top gear to try to make the save for Wyvern. Wyvern storms up like a man on fire, and he and Darius go at it with full bloodlust. Wyvern chokes Darius, and starts running him into the ropes. They run right into Senator and Latino, knocking them over, and slamming into Bane and Angelo. Jake and Marvel rush to try to help Wyvern, feeling guilty about their decision to hire Darius as a bodyguard. They try to help, but Marvel gets separated as Rookie spins him around for a lariat for revenge for taking his title. Jake ducks a punch from RDK, and moves into the scuffle between Wyvern and Darius, but he gets inadvertently hit, as Wyvern tosses Darius into the ropes by the throat, steaming with rage. The impact rocks Jake, and he accidentally flips over the ropes, eliminating him.
Phillip: Jake Cheng has been eliminated!

Wyvern looks on in pure horror at the accident, as Darius smiles as he struggles for air. JonnyG and Angelo jump Wyvern, releasing Darius, but Wyvern throws Angelo and Jonny off, as he flies into a frenzy. He wants Darius’s head on a silver platter, and he will go through anyone to get it. He throws punches in a circular motion, hitting everyone that gets within range. He clocks Senator, Latino, RDK, and then without thinking, lays out Marvel, who rushed to help him out. Darius laughs at this, as he spears Wyvern to the ground, nailing him with lefts and rights. The brawl between those two brings the rumble participants more into the fray than ever, as RDK and Bane grapple each other, and as JonnyG and Angelo work on FSX. The buzzer goes off for the next participant.
”Public Service Announcement” hits again, stunning Angelo and Jonny, as the fans wonder if BK will make it to the ring, and they get their answer, as he makes a grand entrance riding a yellow forklift to the ring. He parks it at ringside, to a huge response from the crowd.
BK raises the forks on the forklift, as the mass chaos in the ring appears to be centered in the ring, and BK couldn’t ask for any better opportunity – he rushes up the forks, and dives off, knocking down everyone in the ring with a suicide dive, garnering one of the loudest pops heard in the ACW arena.
Everyone tries to get up, as it slowed the pace of the match by a considerable degree, but BK picks his target, RDK, as he starts to fight his longtime rival. Senator and Latino go at it once again, as Marvel and Wyvern work on Darius. Bane, Angelo, and JonnyG work on FSX, hitting maneuvers left and right onto the former International champion. BK whips RDK towards the ropes, and as RDK hits the ropes, Bane tries to capitalize by attempting a clothesline that would put RDK over the top, but his attempt is foiled by pure accident by a superkick by Latino, who was intent on connecting with Senator, Senator and Latino grapple once more, but a rebounding RDK takes both men down with a cross-body. Not missing a beat, RDK rolls up and dodges a punch by BK, and locks him into the Rock Bottom. He drops him, but the mass chaos proves to be too hard to capitalize on the maneuver. Darius knocks Marvel aside, and nails a shining wizard to Wyvern, miraculously finding enough room to do the maneuver, but his follow-through sends him flying into RDK. JonnyG and Angelo hit a double-suplex on FSX, but FSX manages to bridge the suplex, using a lot of his strength to hold the bridge, to turn the maneuver into a makeshift inverted DDT that garners a well deserved pop. The buzzer goes off, heralding another newcomer into the fray.

”How Do You Like Me Now?” by Toby Keith hits, as Kevin Fitzharris storms down the ring, looking to support the Senatorial Stable’s effort here tonight. He slides right into the ring, where Senator has moved on to working on the Rookie Monster.
With Kevin at his side, Senator gets a little more comfortable dealing with the Rookie Monster, who’s been in for some time here tonight. BK London, RDK and Latino duke it out in a three-way battle, while JonnyG and Angelo try their hardest to make less friends, as they attack Wyvern and Marvel, with Darius still focusing on Wyvern with unrelenting rage. Bane looks around – he’s got no one to worry about, but he forgot about Blade, as did everyone else, as Blade leaps off the top rope where he’s been for a few moments, nailing the Thor’s Hammer to Bane, sending him reeling. Kevin runs the ropes, looking to hit a running maneuver on the Rookie Monster to free Senator, but runs right into Blade, and the collision makes Senator cringe at the clumsiness of Kevin. FSX makes another save for the behalf of the New Breed, only because of the assailants that are JonnyG and Angelo are wreaking havoc, and they targeted him for a good amount of time. Latino bumps into FSX, being ejected from the fray between RDK and BK, and he goes for FSX, who is looking tired after fending off JonnyG and Angelo. He launches a launch kick towards Latino, it connects, but Latino rolls to one side, changing FSX trajectory to the outside, accidentally eliminating the man.
Phillip: Fallen Souls has been eliminated!
BK and RDK look at each other, and stop going after each other, as BK moves over to face Latino, while RDK moves over to fight Bane. Senator runs off to face Blade, as Kevin is left alone with Rookie. Wyvern and Darius are fighting frantically now, but Marvel becomes separated from his stablemate as JonnyG and Angelo pick out their next target. However, Angelo forgets about yet another shifty silent participant, TNT, walking right into an RKO. TNT leaps up, with the crowd wondering if he just slipped out of the ring and back in. He starts to fight JonnyG, and Marvel helps out TNT. Darius at this time, spears Wyvern to the ground, and locks him into the Deus Ex Machina in the corner, using Wyvern’s own move against him, with no luxury of a rope break. Wyvern starts frantically trying to call someone for an assist, but who will assist the current International champion, who’s looking for a world title shot? Wyvern manages to walk on his hands to an area where Kevin Fitzharris is thrown by Rookie right into Darius, allowing Wyvern to escape. Senator and Blade scuffle in a MMA-style faceoff, with double-leg takedowns and mounting punches, as well as both men showcasing their physical training that’s been paying off. The buzzer goes off again.
”Loser” by Beck hits, to a staggering pop as Gary emerges from the entranceway. The resident jobber of the ACW rushes down the ring, sliding in, looking for a fight, or even more, a quick elimination.
Everyone’s attention is diverted, minus Wyvern and Darius, as the resident jobber looks at his first target. He rushes to BK, who’s near the ropes, but Blade has appeared behind him, giving him a neck-breaker. The participants in the ring continue about their business. JonnyG and Angelo team up once again on TNT, who is also beaten on by Marvel, and as TNT falls down to the ground. Marvel looks at the duo, as they look at him, and they fly into a double clothesline. Marvel ducks and rolls underneath the maneuver. JonnyG decides to go after a bigger fish, as does Angelo, before Marvel whips Angelo into the ropes, nailing a Davey Driver in tight-quarters. JonnyG tries to go after the Senator, throwing aside Blade in a rather foolish manner, which aggravates Blade to an extent, where he hits a kick to the head of JonnyG, and Senator takes advantage of the weary JonnyG, dumping him over the rope in a display that really shows his training has paid off. The buzzer goes off instantaneously at the elimination, as the crowd applauds Jonny’s performance here tonight.
Phillip: JonnyG has been eliminated!
”Godzilla” hits, as the crowd welcomes GooeyGarth in a mixed way, as a look of irritation comes about him – considering his friend was eliminated at the cusp of his entrance, left wishing he could’ve helped Jonny stay in. However, Gooey sees that Angelo is beginning to get overwhelmed in the ring, and Gooey springs into action, flying down the ramp as fast as he can.
Gooey comes in, and enters an all-out fray to stop the onslaught on Angelo, whirring his fists and trying his best to clear everyone out of the way. He knocks Bane and Senator around, showing that he is a viable competitor, not fearing anyone in the ring. Angelo and Gooey start wailing on BK, pounding him down and displaying the true potential of the G-Unit/Angelo alliance. However, this enrages BK, and he starts to fly into a frenzy. He shoves Angelo and Jonny off of him, and he hits a superkick straight at Jonny, sending him down. BK repeats the motion to nail Angelo, and BK isn’t done yet – he flies into a frenzy of superkicking anyone near him. He takes down Wyvern whom is chasing after Darius, he hits Senator who is trying to fight off Rookie and Bane, and he takes down his former ally TNT, but inadvertently hits RDK, whom he is somewhat allied with. RDK doesn’t drop from the kick, but he gets right in the face of BK, slapping some sense into him, just in time to team up to hit a double back body drop on a mischievous Gary. Blade and TNT scuffle at mid-ring, as the crowd counts down to the buzzer. Before the count is over, TNT DDTs Blade to the ground, and gloats as the buzzer hits; some of the fans already know which theme they’ll hear.

Sure enough, ”Thunderstuck” hits, and Hunter flies down to the ring faster than anyone in the rumble, not even acknowledging the fact he is the thirtieth and final entry into the rumble. He slides into the ring, and has one target in mind, TNT.
Hunter runs right towards TNT, and tackles him to the ground, laying into him with pure rage. BK and RDK launch into an offensive on the pesky duo that is Gooey and Angelo. Wyvern and Darius continue their drawn-out brawl, as Marvel and Blade start to go at it. Senator is trying to fight off Bane and Rookie, while Gary and Kevin end up on the outside (not eliminated), trying to target Latino from the arena floor.
Hunter collides directly with TNT, absolutely determined to get some payback for his earlier loss. The ring is still very crowded, and fights between rivals are frequently disrupted by other conflicts. As far as any pattern can be discerned, The Senator is using all his skill to keep Bane and Rookie at bay; he does his best to keep on the move and out of trouble, inadvertently dodging his way though the middle of the ongoing battle between Angelo, Gooey, BK and RDK. There’s almost an embarrassment of riches as the camera and producers try to cover both these battles and a fascinating test of strength between Davey and Blade, lingering long enough to see Davey convert the hold into a swinging neckbreaker only for Blade to use his weight and momentum to turn it over so that Davey takes the impact. Wyvern and Darius are showing no signs whatsoever of tiring of trying to rip each other apart, and on the outside Latino is running rings around Fitzharris as an amused Gary picks himself up from an unintentional dive though the ropes. In the midst of all this, one figure rises above all others; Bane, seeing that a large group is congregating on one side of the ring, climbs up on to the turnbuckle. It’s highly unusual to see such a big man go for an aerial move, and the effects if Bane connects would be catastrophic…..but unfortunately for him, the numbers also hide from Bane the approaching BK, who’s also seen him climb up. BK jumps up to the second rope next to the turnbuckle, and then uses this to bounce upward and give Bane a shove. Bane flails but there’s nothing to grab, and the crowd yells as the big man hits the mats with a loud thump.
Philip: Bane has been eliminated!
BK allows himself the briefest of smiles; as he’s now in the corner, he checks VERY carefully for any similarly inclined superstars and then hops up to the top of the post. He jumps off into a flying crossbody, knocking other wrestlers down like ninepins; this attracts the attention of Gooey, who is fortunate not to be taken down as well and now focuses in on BK, grabbing him from behind and delivering an Atomic Drop. Those taken down by BK pick themselves up, and in the confusion Blade, who has just whipped Davey into an irate Rookie, sees that Fitzharris is looking tired and dazed a little way away from him. The cameras focus in, and the crowd can sense that something’s afoot; Blade holds up his arms in an “X” shape and then runs over to Fitzharris, putting him into an inverted DDT position. With the pair close to the ropes, Blade steps up on to the second one and launches himself into a springboard Fatal Eclipse, which makes the ring shudder and sends the crowd practically into orbit as well. Fitzharris barely knows where he is, and Blade has only to rise and wait for his opponent to do the same before executing a beautiful Dragon Suplex, which carries Fitzharris cleanly over the top rope and down to the outside mats.
Philip: Fitzharris has been eliminated!

As Fitzharris slowly gets up, in the background the camera is drawn to his mentor. The Senator is putting his extensive training to good use, and has managed to isolate Gooey close to the ropes while Angelo has mistakenly ended up coming between Darius and Wyvern, and is subsequently being beaten furiously by both of them. The Senator lands a stream of knife chops to Gooey, trying to force him back into a position he can eliminate him from, but his intense concentration attracts the opportunistic TNT, whom has just RKOed Hunter down. Davey’s looking for another piece of Blade, but as he comes to meet him they both see the prone form of Hunter, and putting their own contest aside they pick Hunter up, transporting him toward the ropes. As they’re doing this, TNT thunders across the ring and crashes into the Senator, sandwiching him between Gooey and TNT himself. Both Gooey and Senator stagger, and TNT knows exactly which one to focus on; smirking, he hoists the Senator up on to his shoulders and turns to throw him out of the match. Hunter’s also up in the air, but he regains his focus and manages to hold on to Blade and Davey, so that when they try to drop him out they’re pulled with him. Instinctively they pull back and Hunter drops on to the apron; he rolls back to the inside and gets out of the way just as Rookie throws Latino into the pair of them in an off – target attempt to eliminate him. Hunter has only a second to decide what to do – TNT is facing away from him, but if he tries to dropkick him over the rope the Senator will also be taken out. Tempted as he is, Hunter resists; instead, he slides out making sure that the referee sees him go under the ropes, and dashes around the ring as fast as he can. Hunter arrives in the nick of time, and summons all the strength he has, catching the Senator before he can touch the ground. Hunter drops the Senator on to the apron, and when TNT tries to kick him back off, Hunter jumps up on the other side. Too late TNT realizes his folly as the Senator rolls safely back into the ring, and Hunter hooks TNT’s arms, jumping into a suplex variation that take him over the ropes and dumps TNT right on his head and out of the match.
Philip: TNT has been eliminated!
Hunter gets himself back into the ring quickly, taunting TNT as he goes. He throws himself into a mass brawl that’s erupted with the meeting of Angelo, Gooey, BK and RDK, and Latino also joins the scrap, relying on his reflexes to trick people into punching unintended targets. A little way away Rookie’s giving Gary a close – up demonstration of the Rookiebomb, but then has to deal with Blade who sends him into the ropes as he’s getting up and makes Rookie’s head spin with a heel kick. Davey finds himself in another “off” period of his on – off battle with Blade, and through the melee he spots that Darius has got Wyvern cornered, having worn his defences down, and is taking advantage of the confusion to deliver some low – blow kicks out of sight of the referee. Anger flares up inside Davey; though he realizes he’s taking a risk, he cuts thorough the raging battle and shouts at Darius to turn around. The crowd starts to get louder, and Darius turns around to lock eyes with Davey. He stares coldly, and then with incredible speed dashes at him knocking Davey to the mat. Davey pulls himself up, and ducks the second attempt; he continues to yell at Darius, doing all he can to keep his attention off of the slowly recovering Wyvern. Daruis’ response is to hammer Davey with huge blows until Marvel is badly dazed; he whips Marvel to the ropes, and then steps forward, launching Davey into a backbody drop. Davey goes flying, on his way out, and a livid Wyvern explodes out of the corner…straight into a lashing kick to the face from Darius. Wyvern falls, but as Darius stands over him he sees Wyvern’s eyes fix on something – and it isn’t him. The fans go nuts as Darius spins around to be greeted with the sight of an airborne Davey, already up in the sky and going for the Midnight. Darius has prepared counters for Wyvern’s moves, but not Davey’s, and he is almost KOed on the spot. Still shouting, Davey finishes what he started when he grabbed the ropes to save himself, and with Wyvern’s help he takes Darius by the head and sends the Shining one out of the ring and of the match.
Philip: Darius Silver has been eliminated!
Darius gets up and immediately tries to get back into the ring, determined to utterly destroy Wyvern, rules or no rules. The emergency security has to be scrambled, and The referee is temporarily distracted as he orders the backup to get Darius to the back. The ever – alert Angelo and Gooey grab the chance and use a few low – blows to buy themselves a little breathing space, but they don’t catch out RDK, and there’s a loud “OOOH YEAH!” from the fans as he gives Angelo a taste of the Rockbottom. He tries to pick Angelo up, only to wind up receiving the Cheese Dip from Gooey; the chain continues as Gooey is himself brought down by an opportunistic Switchblade Cut from Latino. Latino shakes his shoulders, and the crowd try to warn him about the Senator lining up for a Partisan Kick – but aid comes in a different form, as Gary dashes in, enjoying himself immensely, and jumps on to the Senator’s back – presumably attempting some kind of choke but really accomplishing little more than a forceful hug. The crowd laughs as the Senator fights to rid himself of the limpet; Gary drops off after a few seconds and is spared a retaliatory attack as Angelo runs in and re – engages the Senator. As the pair continue to fight, Gary is left monetarily without an opponent; he looks all around him, and then spots BK taking on Hunter in one of the corners. Hunter’s trying to push BK back, and with a playful grin Gary charges toward the pair of them. Amazingly, Gary gets his targeting spot on, and the crowd is stunned as Hunter takes a hit to the head and stumbles sideways, while BK topples backward. Delighted, Gary throws his arms up in the air, but his inexperience is costly; BK has just managed to hold the ropes, and calmly gets back to the apron and steps to the inside, staying out of Gary’s line of sight. The next thing he knows, Gary’s going up in the world, as BK coolly takes hold of him by the arm and pants, and unceremoniously dumps him over the ropes to the outside. Gary looks very surprised and a bit cross, but the fans cheer him anyway, and even BK gives the very briefest flicker of a smile as Gary wanders off to the back.
Philip: Gary has been eliminated!

BK turns his attention back to the battle as a whole, to find that Angelo and Gooey are successfully operating as a team and keeping the Senator and RDK on the back foot. BK heads in their direction, ducking to avoid a clothesline from Wyvern (who was aiming for Hunter anyway) and speaks urgently to his teammates, outlining his plan. Dividing their efforts, RDK pushes Angelo back into one of the corners while Senator and BK try to shift Gooey in the other direction. Seeing the danger, Angelo tries to get back to Gooey, but RDK thinks on his feet and whips Angelo into the nearest other person, which happens to be Latino who is trading blows with Rookie. This succeeds in annoying all parties, and Angelo takes on both Rookie and Latino in a three way fight, which quickly becomes a four way once RDK sticks his oar in. The camera tracks across to pick up BK and the Senator again, in the process catching a glimpse of Blade, Davey and Hunter engaged in what the announcers claim is a “thrilling close – quarter engagement” but which actually at this moment in time seems slightly more like a shin kicking festival. In any event the real interest is with Gooey and Co; his Garthness has his back to the turnbuckle, and is gamely dealing with BK and the Senator, distributing his punches on an equal opportunities basis. Without backup, however, brute strength starts to win out, and BK and the Senator daze Gooey with punches and kicks, before lifting him up into a sitting position ready to throw him out of the ring. Just as they’re getting into position, however, Gooey rallies and stands up on the second rope; though dizzy, he grabs one man in each hand and chokeslams them both to the mat, earning a pop for sheer audacity. Gooey drops back into a sitting position and is about to get down, but then suddenly the fighting ranks seem to part, and from them comes Davey Marvel like a speeding train. The fans scream with shock and delight as Davey delivers the Shining Wizard, sending Gooey over backward, too dazed to hold on to anything.
Philip: Gooeygarth has been eliminated!
The match is down to the final 10 participants, and has now been running for an hour and 19 minutes. Yet the intensity, if anything, is increasing, as all those left now start to believe that they have an actual chance of winning the match. Fatigue, however, is beginning to tell, especially on the early entrants, and now RDK, Rookie and Angelo find themselves becoming the targets almost by a process of natural selection. The Senator and BK are determined to finish off the triumvate by eliminating Angelo, but the Venom has been training for this match since his recovery, and won’t give an inch as their fists fly back and forth. He gets some much - needed unintentional support from Latino, who is doing his best to target the Senator while his attention is still divided. Hunter, the last entrant, is doing his best to overpower Rookie, the very first; but TNT has left his mark, and Rookie’s sheer force of will means that he’s able to hold his own, breaking out as Hunter goes for the Dynamite. Blade and Wyvern seem to be the exceptions to the rule, and are taking each other to their limits; clearly they view one another as prime threats. Wyvern thinks he’s made a breakthough when he’s able to use his Downfall on Blade, but the Ninja pulls himself up and replies with an attempt to throw Wyvern out with the Lights of Orion. Wyvern controls his weight and descent, landing neatly feet – first on the apron, and then returns to his more hardcore past with a headbutt that puts Blade off balance long enough for Wyvern to get back in the ring. The camera follows him – and then jumps abruptly across to see Davey going for a repeat of his earlier Midnight elimination on a weary RDK. The Macho Man should never be counted out, however, and he catches Davey, plucking him out of the air. With a yell of determination, RDK lifts Davey up above his head and hurls him with a modified Gorilla Press action, so that he doesn’t come close enough to the ropes to grab them. It’s the end of the line for Davey, but the crowd shouts and cheers loudly for him as he brushes himself down.
Philip: Davey Marvel has been eliminated!
RDK holds his arms up to the fans, but has only a few moments to celebrate – Wyvern’s spotted his stablemate’s exit, and prioritises RDK, rushing forward and almost, but not quite, clotheslining him over the top in kind. They continue to fight as Blade finds himself engaging with Latino. They move with admirable agility considering how long the match has gone on; Blade is incredibly quick as always, but Latino seems to have found a new spring of energy from within, and is slowly starting to take control. The tide’s turned for Angelo, too; having hit BK with an Italian Decimator, BK has rolled out under the ropes to protect himself while he recovers, and Angelo and the Senator are deadlocked, each knowing the other’s strategy so well that neither can find a winning edge at the present time. In the background of their fight, Hunter’s managed to bring Rookie down, but his attempt to lift the big man up is foiled when Rookie thrashes and forces Hunter to drop him back to the mat. Hunter looks understandably frustrated, and this is only compounded as Rookie whips him to the ropes, landing a tremendous Rookieboot on his return. As this is happening, Latino is carrying out a similar whip, with the intention of backdropping Blade over to the outside; Blade however has different ideas, and leapfrogs a surprised Latino. As he’s in the air, Blade sees Hunter getting up, and an idea hits him; using all his skill, Blade turns sideways and delivers a stunning Liu – Kang style hi – jump kick to Hunter’s temple. The impact lifts Hunter off his feet and sends him flying out over the top rope before he’s even aware of what’s happened to him, and Blade just barely lands on his feet.
Philip: Hunter has been eliminated!

Blade spins around to see Latino charging at full tilt; reacting on instinct, Blade stands his ground, grabs Latino and uses his momentum to create a suplex – to Whippersnapper combination which almost knocks Latino out cold. The fans cheer enthusiastically, and Blade kips up – only to be knocked down again almost immediately by Rookie. Sweat is pouring off of Danny Richards; his movements, though honed by hours and hours of training, now give away his exhaustion. Rookie holds up his arms, and lets out what almost sounds like a roar as he makes a grab for Blade; Rookie knows that every extra minute is critical now……..and so does everyone else. Blade gets clear, but Rookie won’t be denied; he storms forward, punching down everyone in sight until spotting RDK and the Senator, grappling close to the ropes. Rookie runs forward, and then jumps, spreading his legs so that each foot dropkicks one of them. There’s a loud surge from the fans, and RDK and Senator come oh – so – close to touching the floor.
But they hang on, and Rookie’s continuing strength has now drawn the attention of everyone else in the ring; Rookie tries to dislodge his opponents, but they get a further reprieve as Angelo attacks with a dropkick of his own. Rookie is shaken, but he isn’t tipped over; he turns around as RDK and the Senator get back though the ropes, and join the attack. Still Rookie holds out, and BK, who has just rolled back into the ring, adds his firepower. Rookie’s now fighting off four men; Blade, Latino and Wyvern stand off for a few seconds, but gradually they realize that if they don’t act now, it could cost them dearly later. Being pressed on all sides, Rookie gives all that he has left, and his eyes remain proudly defiant even as his strength at last begins to fail. It’s impossible to tell who strikes the critical blow……perhaps sheer weight tips the scales in the end. Rookie tries to hold the ropes as he is literally bundled over the top, but a combination of hands wrench him away, and there’s a groan from the crowd as he lands on the mats…..but it quickly turns into a mighty roar of appreciation, and many people check their watches to discover that Rookie’s lasted an incredible 92 minutes in the ring. Always a professional, Rookie stalks to the back looking thoroughly pissed off, but inside he’s quietly touched by the fans’ response.
Philip: Rookie Monster Danny Richards has been eliminated!
There’s the briefest of pauses as everyone regroups after their titaninc struggle; if they thought things were about to calm down, however, nothing could be further from the truth. One person seems to have been profoundly affected by Rookie’s elimination……still looking over the ropes, the expression on Angelo Goivanni’s face becomes as hard as steel. Before anyone sees exactly what’s going on, Angelo whips around and aims a Yakuza Kick at the Senator – but he “misses” his target and instead hits the referee, who’s taking a timecheck from the ringside staff. The ref drops like a stone, and Angelo drops with him, rolling out of the ring; Latino gets on one knee and tries to see if the referee is ok. As he’s doing this, the rest of the field are about to square off again, but then suddenly Angelo reappears on the opposite side of the ring. He’s back inside in a flash, and RDK, who is nearest, never even sees the chairshot coming. It’s not just any chair, either; it’s Angelo’s trademark barbedwire version, and with the ref out of it Angelo cleans house, beating down his opponents and blocking their attacks with his weapon. Latino is the last person left standing; he stands firm, shouting angrily at Angelo, but the Venom just laughs nastily and nails Latino over the head. Latino staggers back to the ropes and grabs them to try and hold himself up, and a smirking Angelo delivers a mighty Yakuza kick, sending Latino over and down to the floor.
The crowd howls with rage; Philip has his mic to his mouth, but then realizes that with the ref down the elimination hasn’t been officially recognized. Angelo chin flicks the crowd, and then heads toward Philip; he demands that Philip make the announcement, but Philip refuses to do so. Angelo glowers and is about to exit the ring; Philip looks very nervous and the crowd gets louder, and louder…..but as Angelo reaches the ropes he twigs that something’s up. He turns around as fast as he can, swinging the chair – but his target ducks, and suddenly Angelo gets nailed in the face himself with the World Championship, courtesy of a rather upset AK. Angelo goes down hard, and Alicia can’t resist a brief “You’ll never get your hands on this” taunt before grabbing the chair and sliding out of the ring, just as a recovered Latino’s coming the other way. They give each other a peck on the cheek, and Alicia makes a quick getaway though the crowd just as the referee comes to. Angelo has just about pulled himself up; he locks eyes with Latino, and yells “COME ON!!”. Latino shakes his head; Angelo sneers, and gives Latino a chin flick – right before BK comes in from his blindside, and gives him the Shades of Michaels. Latino smiles as Angelo hits the floor, and BK holds up his arms and paces about as the crowd cheers loudly.

Angelo screams blue murder, absolutely beside himself with rage, but the referee, already suspicious of the Yakuza Kick, won’t hear a word of it. Security has to return and escort Angelo out of the arena, and now that the drama’s over things kick off for the final stages of the match. Only 6 competitors are left, all of whom could take victory, and now no – one’s holding anything back; they merge into a mass fight, personal rivalries blending with a desire to eliminate foes at any opportunity. The camera can’t track all the battles at once, and so tries to move between them; it pauses to shows Latino hitting a powerslam on to the Senator, to which the Senator replies by running to the ropes and returning to deliver a running enziguri, switching feet when Latino ducks the first attempt. The foreground is then taken up by Blade, who crashes to the mat when Wyvern hits his corrosion. Wyvern elbow drops, only for Blade to flip over and then put his opponent into a strength – sapping Heaven’s arrow.
Wyvern only gets out when BK “drops in” on the pair of them, courtesy of a Macho Slam from RDK; as the pile sorts itself out the shot remains with RDK and BK, the two long time rivals once again struggling for supremacy. RDK holds up his hand to his ear, and the crowd starts to chant, “RDK! RDK!”……the Macho Man smiles, and as BK throws a punch he sidesteps and executes the Rockbottom with incredible power. The whole arena resounds with extraordinary sound as RDK lifts BK up; he prepares to slam him to the outside, but BK refuses to go quietly and struggles. RDK loses control and drops BK just inside the ring, and BK hits him with the London-Plex. RDK lies on the mat and BK looks at him, but instead of picking him up, he heads to the corner and signals for the Brooklyn to London. The crowd is still making a huge amount of noise, and RDK stirs; he sees BK on the turnbuckle, and summoning all his remaining power he jumps up and runs over, leaping at BK to send him crashing down. Except that that’s not what happens; BK leaps straight upward and forward, and RDK misses him entirely. BK hits the mat, turns around, and grabs RDK (who’s now sprawled over the post) by the legs. He lifts and pushes, and RDK can’t find anything to grab on to to stop him landing heavily on the floor.
Philip: RDK has been eliminated!
The match is now reaching boiling point, with only 5 competitors left. Everyone is having to dig deep into their reserves of energy to stay in the game, but now none of them will countenance the thought of failure, having come this far. BK has a moment to decide where to focus his attentions next; he looks around, and sees that the Senator and Latino are fighting one another furiously, each determined to have the pleasure of eliminating the other. They’ve both been in the match significantly longer than Wyvern and Blade, but BK decides that it’s not a good idea to interrupt such a personal conflict. Instead he decides to target Blade, hoping to draw Wyvern’s support for this task, and he moves in behind the Ninja, hitting him with a German suplex while he’s busy paying attention to Wyvern. Wyvern, however, isn’t one to take sides arbitrarily, and he lights into both men with kicks while they’re on the mat, sparking a 3 way punch up.
A short distance away, Latino and the Senator are locked together; they lean on one another, trying to gain some sort of advantage, until the Senator gets a foot in around Latino’s ankle and brings him down to the mat. The Senator wipes the sweat from his forehead, and then puts Latino into the Tiger Lock; the pain is written right across the Latino one’s face, as the Senator does his best to sap what’s left of Latino’s strength and will to fight. The fans start to shout for Latino, and he tries to respond, but there’s little he can do as the Senator releases the hold and picks him up. He backs up to get a running distance, and then runs toward the ropes; with a huge effort he throws his opponent, but fatigue is affecting the Senator too and he doesn’t get all the distance he hoped for. Latino brushes the top rope and is able to grab the second, landing on the apron; the Senator immediately goes for a baseball slide, but Latino gets out of the way just in time. The Senator lands on the floor and jumps up to the apron, grabbing Latino as he stands up before he can get away; he locks his arms around Latino’s neck and starts to drag him backward. Latino grabs the rope and pulls back, and then with his feet on the floor he grasps the Senator’s arms and falls forward to his knees, bringing the Senator back into the ring. With the fans yelling their heads off, both men pull themselves up – the Senator is the quicker, and sends out a lighting kick. But Latino jumps back, and swings a kick of his own in the same motion – too fast for the Senator to avoid. The Senator is sent over the top, and twirling as he lands Latino sends out his other foot, kicking the Senator away from the apron down to the cold, thinly covered concrete below.

It takes a moment or so for the Senator to fully comprehend that he’s been ejected from the match; he gets up, slowly, and the more astute fans recognize in his eyes a look that suggests this is just the start of something big. Regardless of this, however, there are now just four men left; two former champions, and two who have yet to acquire the ultimate prize. Latino knows that he can’t waste a second, and is already joining the ongoing fight between BK, Wyvern and Blade; he charges in, right into the middle of the 3 way brawl, and sends his opponents to the mat. All three are quickly up again, however, and for a moment it looks like Latino could have made a huge mistake, attracting the attention of the other 3 men all at once. He’s lucky, however, as he only ends up with BK to handle, as Blade and Wyvern opt to focus on one another, both men driven to show that they are superior to one another. Blade makes use of the devastating kick we saw him use earlier, and Wyvern gets an idea of what it feels like to be a punching bag as he is sent flying into one of the corners. Blade moves in, quickly but not running, and starts to hammer on his opponent, but Wyvern clears his head and fights back, working his way along the ropes until both men are fighting alongside them. Blade aims a kick at Wyvern’s head and almost sends him over the top, but Wyvern holds on and the tip angle is not sufficient, allowing him to drop back on the right side. Undeterred, Blade can sense that he has a chance to pick Wyvern off here, and as Wyvern reels Blade takes a few steps back, and runs. launching himself into an obliterating dropkick. Wyvern’s about to go out – but no! He braces, and leans back so that instead of connecting with Wyvern’s face, Blade finds that his adversary has hold of him by the ankles. Wyvern pivots and spins, changing Blade’s course, and Blade’s arms are past the ropes before he can grab them. Wyvern lets go like a hammer thrower, and the fans roar in surprise and admiration as the Ninja is sent flying out of contention.
Philip: Bladeseika has been eliminated!
Blade pounds a fist on the mat in frustration as he gets up; he won’t forget this day, but for now he has to return to the locker rooms. In the ring, both Latino and BK hear the sound of someone hitting the floor, and they’re taken by surprised to see that Wyvern has come out on top of that battle. The atmosphere is thick enough to taste by now; Wyvern comes to meet BK and Latino, and it’s Latino that he meets first. The pair trade a blow or two before BK takes advantage, and hits both of them with a double clothesline; Wyvern is the first up, and he strikes back at BK, bringing him down with a leg sweep. Almost as soon as they hit the mat, however, they both come under attack as Latino launches from the nearby corner into Last Night’s Hangover, modifying it to land across both of his opponents. It backfires, however, when both Wyvern and BK grab a hold of the man on top of them, and Latino ends up being manhandled by Wyvern and BK, with one holding his arms and the other his legs. The fans shout loudly as the pair move so that they’re standing side – on to the ropes, and the crowd counts as they start to swing Latino back and forth in preparation for the throw. At “three”, they both let go, and Latino goes flying – or rather they try to let go, because Latino grabs on to BK’s arms with his own. BK digs in to stop himself being taken over with his foe, and in the process saves Latino, who gets his butt and feet to the apron. As BK tries to wrench himself free, Wyvern moves in behind him, and with a big effort lifts BK by the legs and bundles him over the top. Latino lets BK go just at the right moment, before BK can re – take his grip on Latino’s wrists, and BK has no chance to grab anything before he lands hard on the outside mats, flat on his back. Latino quickly rolls back into the ring, before Wyvern has any chance to try a similar sneak attack on him. BK gets up and shouts in anger and disappointment at the conspirators, but there’s nothing he can do right now, and the fans are already taking guesses as to which of the last two can go all the way.
Philip: BK London has been eliminated! We’re down to the final two competitors!

The noise in the arena is ear – splitting as Wyvern and Latino return, slowly, to the centre of the ring. They get there and regard one another silently; Wyvern gives a tired smile, and Latino returns it. It’s clear that both men have considerable respect for each other, and the fact that they’re facing off here has only increased that……but there can be only one winner. An unseen signal passes between the pair of them, and then it’s back on; with a powerful impact they crash together, locking horns and doing their utmost to drive one another toward the edge of the ring. It’s a stalemate for several moments, but then step by step Wyvern starts to gain traction, and forces Latino backward. Sensing the proximity of the ropes, Latino buys time by breaking and whipping Wyvern sideways into the near corner; with the fans shouting wildly, he traps Wyvern there and batters away, looking for a dizzying punch. Wyvern though recognizes what Latino’s looking for, and defends himself well until he’s able to put his boot into Latino’s gut. Latino grunts and stumbles back; Wyvern jumps forward, grabs him, and swings him up on to his shoulders in a single movement. He keeps up the flowing style, pausing for just a second to take aim, but Latino flips off of Wyvern’s back, and then dropkicks his foe hard, sending him forward on to hands and knees. Immediately, Latino locks in a grounded sleeperhold; his reasoning that you can’t save yourself if you’re knocked out is sound, and the crowd is split down the middle as half shout for Wyvern to break free, and the rest encourage Latino not to let go. Wyvern tries to throw himself and use his weight, but the focus in Latino’s eyes is as pure as we’ve ever seen it. Wyvern’s movements become weaker until he’s barely moving at all, but Latino keeps on the hold a little longer until he’s certain that Wyvern’s out. With the fans screaming at the top of their voices, Latino lifts a now limp Wyvern up and moves close to the ropes; he takes a breath, steadies himself (he’s so exhausted that even keeping Wyvern on his shoulders requires great effort) and with a yell, sends the Dragon into flight………
There’s a huge collective roar from the fans…….but no bell. Latino can guess what’s happened, and is already backing up; he can see Wyvern gripping the rope and fighting against his fatigue to pull himself back to a standing position. Rushing forward, Latino tries to knock Wyvern backward – but Wyvern just manages to get his feet on the apron, and throws a punch directly forward. It connects with Latino’s face, and the crowd continues to go nuts as Latino plunges backward, flat on to the canvas. With a split – second decision, Wyvern hits on an insane plan; his tired mind races to calculate angles and trajectories, and already Latino is stuttering to his feet. Knowing that if he gets this wrong he’ll most likely lose, Wyvern chooses his mark, and cameras flash all around the stadium as he vaults to the top rope, and takes off at the precise moment in which Latino reaches a standing position…….
Even at 100% health and energy, Latino would have done more than well to respond to Wyvern’s hurracanrana in time. In his current state, he has no chance of evading it. As Wyvern connects, he spins himself around, and then flips Latino; he rolls through, and without even consciously looking first he turns and dives into a suicidal spear, through the middle ropes……..and connects solidly with Latino, who’s grasping the top rope after being sent just barely over it by the previous move. Both men crash to the outside mats, and they can’t do anything more than lay there for several moments, as the crowd blows its top and the bell is at last heard, signaling the end of a true marathon match.

Security has to battle to contain the ecstatic crowd, which is threatening to swamp the whole ring area, such is their emotion and energy. Slowly, Wyvern pulls himself into a kneeling position; he needs a few seconds to take it all in.
A few seconds is all he has, in fact, before the celebratory committee of Jake Cheng and Davey Marvel arrives at speed from the back. There’s a gala of manly hugs and back slapping as they help Wyvern to his feet; Wyvern staggers up, wearing a grin the size of the San Andreas faultline. As he does so, he sees the other side of the coin; Latino’s still sitting on the floor, his back against one of the ringposts. AK’s followed the New Breed out to the ring, and is kneeling next to him. They simply hold one another, for no words can express what they’re both feeling…..Latino’s been in similar situations before, but it never gets any easier.
Jake and Davey are keen to get Wyvern up on their shoulders, but Wyvern isn’t quite ready for that. He waits as Latino and AK get up, and then approaches. Latino sees him, and gives a deep sigh….and then holds out his hand in congratulation. Wyvern has no hesitation in accepting it, and there’s a loud cheer as the handshake becomes a reconciliatory hug.
Wyvern: You were incredible, my friend.
Latino nods, appreciative of Wyvern’s gesture. He looks at AK, and gives his rakish smile.
Latino: Thanks. Still, there’s an upside, holmes; I won’t have to spend the next 2 months sleeping on the couch!
Everyone bursts out laughing, and Wyvern and Latino conclude their talk as Davey and Jake hoist Wyvern up, parading back around the ring to a massive ovation. The PPV concludes on this happy note, and the fans are already starting to get excited; Omega Effect will indeed be a night unlike any other.
Will Wyvern and Alicia meet on that grand stage, or will another champion step up to meet the rumble winner?
Is it really over between Ridley and Rose…….or just the start of something far bigger?
And what does the mysterious Mercer Stanton have planned for the Federation?
For some of these answers, ACW must take a step, or perhaps a Spring……Into Hell.
Fade to Black.
End of Show.
