Segment: The Competition begins.. (Credit: BK London/Adrian Flamingo)
We're nearing the end of the show and still we have a large situation at hand to deal with.
"Gingerdude's Theme" sounds throughout the speakers in the ACW arena, and from when we see the Chairman's face on the huge Alphatron during his entrance video, he gets quite the reaction from the fans in the audience. While it is a mixed reaction, there's no doubt that it's a much bigger reaction than the Chairman himself even anticipated. He struts down to the ring, slowly making his way up the steps, and enters the ring before asking for the microphone.
Once Phillip hands it over, he quickly exits the ring, hoping not to get in the boss' way. As Gingerdude walks to the center of the ring, he places his hand in his pocket and doesn't waste a moment waiting for the fans to die down. Being stiff on time for the main event, he begins to speak and soon enough the music and the fans die down.
Gingerdude: Now, earlier in my office I was approached by both Adrian Flamingo...
Huge heat for the Genocide victor.
Gingerdude: ...and BK London!
And just like that, the former World Champion gets a pop that nearly blows the roof off the arena.
Gingerdude: ...and on one hand, I was persuaded a bit by BK London to allow Adrian Flamingo and himself to get it on at Fallen Heroes. And even thinking about it more, the buyrates, the sales, the hype - London-Flamingo II could be the biggest thing since sliced bread. I'm sure all of you here would like to see that bout once more...
As the camera pans through the raucous fans, they express their approval of such a high caliber match up.
Gingerdude: ...but on the other hand, Adrian Flamingo is right What made their first match so memorable was the 6 month wait and all the anticipation that came with it. If we rushed into a rematch too soon, we could lose what made the first match so special
The Chairman has the crowd in the palm of the hands, having the reactions from them constantly sway in opposite directions.
Gingerdude: So you know what? I've come to a decision and I would like both BK London and Adrian Flamingo to make their ways to the ring right now.
He turns towards the obscenely expensive Alphatron and awaits the two wrestlers, but after about 5 seconds it seems that no one is coming.
Gingerdude: I said I want bo-
HELLLOOOOOOOO
HELLO BROOKLYN!
And just like that, BK London steps through the curtain - still sporting his ring gear and the huge brace around his knee. While it takes him a bit longer to make his way to the ring, he eventually does and meets with the Chairman face to face. But before any words can be exchanged, a second - newer - theme blasts out the PA System from Adrian Flamingo himself.
In Heaven... everything is fine
In Heaven... everything is fine
Adrian didn't allow the intro of his entrance theme to finish up before he pushed past the curtain and rushed down the stage. Adrian had a noticeable limp due to the punishment he received from BK, but his dark jeans covered up the wrap that the physicians reapplied backstage. Adrian slid in to the ring, making sure to get at the opposite side of Gingerdude... the side BK wasn't on, before grabbing a microphone of his own from a stagehand.
Adrian Flamingo: Now wait a minute, Gingerdude, don't you listen to a damn word that man says. He knows nothing about business, he knows nothing about marketing and promoting, and he doesn't have a damn clue how to really make you money. Like I said, if you want to do Flamingo/London 2, you make all of these cheap wrestling fans wait just as long, if not longer for it than Flamingo/London 1. That way by the time they can see it, they'll pay double... hell, triple the money. Don't get me wrong for doubting your business sense, BK, but I strongly doubt they teach integrated marketing at the School of Hard Knocks.
BK London: You seem to forget who you're talking to Flamingo.
Adrian Flamingo: Oh I know exactly who I'm talking to, I'm talking to the man who should shut his mouth before I leave him with no legs to stand on - that's who I'm talking to.
And with that remark, BK London almost tears off his shirt before throwing ringside and he advances towards Adrian Flamingo. Flamingo doesn't back down for a second and momentarily the two are nose to nose, at any moment this scene could explode, but Ginger intervenes and restores order - stepping between the two.
Gingerdude: Hey hey hey! Both of you back up, as I have already said - I have come to a decision.
Flamingo willingly backs off.
Gingerdude: Now! As far as I am concerned, both of you are entered into the Fallen Heroes Battle Royale which makes things a lot more interesting. Now BK, I am not granting you a singles one on one match against Adrian at Fallen Heroes..
A smirk grows across the face of Adrian Flamingo while the crowd expresses their disapproval over such a decision.
Ginger however sharply turns in Adrian's direction.
Gingerdude: ...HOWEVER - I am not ruling out the possibility that you two will meet up in some capacity...
Flamingo's smirk quickly disappears and even the crowd is a bit confused as to what Ginger is alluding to.
Gingerdude: So, in order for one of you to get what you want, you'll have to earn it. Earn it through a series of matches. Earn it in a competition, a triathalon if you will.
Both BK and Adrian are a bit perplexed about this "competition", what does it all mean?
Gingerdude: There will be three competitions you two will be taking part in, and whoever wins 2 out of 3 will get what they want at Fallen Heroes.
BK London: What are the matches?
Gingerdude: The matches of the competition won't be revealed until next Monday on Warfare, where BK London will fight in the first match of the series.
Adrian Flamingo: What is the prize?
Gingerdude: The prize you say? The prize will be that you get to pick your own spot in the Fallen Heroes Battle Royale...
The eyes of Flamingo light up instantly.
Gingerdude: ...and the spot of the other, in the Battle Royale..
That part of the plan appeals to to BK London, as the first one did to Flamingo. But Flamingo isn't as happy as before about the stipulation.
Gingerdude: Now, more will be revealed competition in due time, but I suggest you prepare for anything.
"Ginger's theme hits upon the end of that last sentence and he exits the ring, leaving the two wrestlers staring at one another. The next chapter of this feud continues, and there's so much more on the line than just pride, a shot at the ACW Championship hangs in the balance and both of them have an opportunity to make the most of it.
Fade Out.
