Disclaimer: These picks are of course my opinion. My opinion is neither right or wrong its just what I think. So if you don’t make the list, please do not feel that I don’t like you, what you wrote or that your promos were not as good as the one’s I have listed. I really don’t want people to get discouraged over things like these. Please, please realize that with the amount of talented writers that we have it’s a super tough job picking out just five promos.
As I first gave this show a glace over during our usual show chat, I made a comment about how there was a lot of powerful stuff in this edition of Warfare. After having time to dissect everything, not only do I stand by my initial line of thought but dare say this is one of the most powerful shows I’ve ever read.
Finally, I would like to say this was a harder than usual list to scribe. This was an outstanding show from top to bottom and it was all due to everyone's effort. Finally, Just a couple of quick mentions. I loved the new tidbit in the Anonymous storyline, BK’s and Flamingo’s latest efforts deserve your time and I am much looking forward to Thunder Train Vs. Red.
From “Another Day” by FSX.
Wow X, you had me nervous for a second you were thinking about giving up, but determination got the better of you. This was truly a moment to mark out for. Truth be told, you could play “Don’t Stop Believing” for this promo as well. Hell, you could play it for most anything and it would totally fit. A very versatile song, it is.

AJ'S PICKS!
- “Et Tu, Aiden” & “The Night’s Still Young ...” by The Entourage. I knew ahead of time something was coming from my former comrades but never did I expect something so intense. The first in the set (and 2nd for the matter) was well written from start to finish. I could feel the anger leaping out of every word, and though this was most certainly written in character, I felt a nervous sweat coming on as I went through this. The final promo made me extremely sad and more than just a tad guilty. Also, heed Mr London’s advice and play “Don’t Stop Believing” as you read through it.
- “Training is...almost...about to commence!” by Jason Freeman. Alright Freeman, you’ve finally nailed it. I enjoyed the banter between both your characters, found Morgan’s sarcasm extremely humorus and found the conversation very rational. The promo had a good pace and was very easy to get through. My only suggestion to you right now is one we’ve talked about quite extensively, and that’s not to be afraid to take risks.
- “Cliched Occurrence” by Senator & Taylor. A war appears to be brewing and these two are the catalysts. As I read this I just wanted to reach through my screen and slap Taylor across his face. He comes across as so damn cocky an arrogant and his character is even worse (before you get yourself all worked up, do know I said that in jest Taylor)! Anyway, this attitude does lead to some interesting reading. Senny is still running on all cylinders with his heel turn, though he doesn’t quite seem to be the heel in this feud. Taylor has the Orton like quality where all heels become temporary faces when interacting with him. I wish I could take credit for the previous analogy, but this one belongs to Phillips.
- “Of Fingers and Lips” by Sarin. At the end of this I felt like someone smashed me right in the chest with a sledgehammer; my heart was shattered. As I read, I wanted to be there with Sarin and assist these unfortunate children. The ravages of war were brilliantly portrayed and I was very pleased that Sarin did not try to candy coat anything to make it less disturbing. Earlier I talked about risks. I see this segment as a risk on Sarin’s part and she totally pulled it off.
- “Lesson One” by AK. Alicia, I love your fingers. They work magic every time. It has been quite a while, hasn’t it? Well maybe not THAT long but one show without a contribution from your part is one show too many. Reg’s words were overflowing with emotion and I am simply amazed how you can turn something as simple as a training session into sheer brilliance. Honest to God, in the hands of most people that would have been a boring segment. Take a bow my lady.

Moment of the Show:
From “Another Day” by FSX.
FSX: Your right...What the hell is wrong with me? This was just a god damn fluke anyway! What am I getting so upset about? I never put any damn time frame on the promises I made anyway! I can still change the way things work, and I can still reach the top. I'm only gonna be stopped if I let myself be stopped! Besides, there's still Fallen Heroes! I've been training for months to win the damn thing so I may as well go ahead and win it! Why win the title on a Warfare anyway? I'd rather win the damn thing at Omega Effect! It'll happen! I'll make the world a believer!
